Hey there, folks. Welcome to the program. Chris Heimes, let me welcome you. Happy Thursday. Yes, it's Thursday the 5th of September, and there's something about the idea. I love September. I love the cool weather. I love it.

And yet, the idea that summer's sort of gone makes me want to cry also. I love summer. But whatever, if the Lord's will, that today be September 5th, I'm pretty clear on that. So September 5th, Thursday, today we have in the studio, like, this is exciting to me, at least. We have my friend Keith Junta, G-U-I-N-T-A. It's important you spell it correctly. Keith Junta. Keith and I have been friends since 1990. I don't know if I've said this on the program before, but I met him in the summer of 90. It was a bunch of us. We were all at St. Paul's Daryenne Church in Connecticut.

It was an amazing church. I didn't realize what I had at the time. Like, sometimes you just think, oh, this is normal. It was not normal. It was amazing. And I met Keith. And, you know, when you meet somebody who's like theologically all in, they're, you know, strong in their faith and very funny and into comedy, it's like, what's not to love? And Chris Himes, you're in that category as well. So I love comedy and I love categories. Comedy, comedy.

So I love categories, but I don't love the category of categories. Okay, so I don't want to get too cerebral, but we have Keith Junta, coming up to talk about, he wrote an article at stream.org about Ronald Reagan. I posted it a few times. And yesterday we had Pat Boone on the program to talk about, basically to talk about this episode that Keith Junta writes about in his article. So Keith will be on here to talk about his article at stream.org. That's in hour one today. And in our two today, we have our friend Kelly Walker, who is an all-around freedom fighter. He's involved with Mike Lindell's legal defense fund. So he's all about election integrity.

He's from Arizona. So he's really all about election integrity. So today we got Keith Junta, Kelly Walker. Tomorrow, I think we're doing some encores. Like we've been going through our archives. Chris, back me up on this. Like we discovered some amazing interviews from we've got, we've been doing this. Our show is a lot like, you know, Lord of the Rings, the dwarves that are in the mountains, mining gems.

We've gone into our mountain of shows and we've mined out a bunch of gems. So we're digging them up for you. Seriously, we do. We found some awesome stuff. and I thought this is too good not to re-air. I mean, interviews that I did, I don't know, four years ago, five years ago, six years ago, that they're so awesome.

And you're thinking, wait a minute, wait a minute. We've got to air some of these. So I think we'll be doing that on some Fridays. Because Chris and I get drunk every Thursday night. We can't do regular. That is not totally untrue. No, it's a lie, but I thought it would be funny. But so we're going to be doing that.

So that's tomorrow, which will be the 6th of September. What the? So anyway, but today we have Keith Junta talking about the Reagan film. And you know what, folks, I know if you've been listening to the program, I cannot say enough about the Reagan film. I went with my mom, 90 years old, with my wife, less than 90 years old, with Keith Junta and his wife, less than 90 years old. And we all love the film so much that I was really kind of. flabbergasted. So you need to tell your friends, see it this weekend, see it before it goes away. It's just, when a film like this is this great, you've got to support it. So I just, I got to say that.

We're going to get rid of, you know, electric stoves and we're going to mandate only gas stove. It was like, you know, the way the world should be. So, but Project 2025 is quite real. Lots of stuff to talk about, including Mike Lindell shaving off his mustache to go undercover at the Democratic National Convention, as if that fooled anybody. Kelly Walker, welcome. Thank you, Eric. It's great to be here. And it didn't fooling one for long, especially when he started talking. I was just going to say, like, are you kidding me? Like, shaving off his money, like, that's going to change anything.

It's very funny. It's like shaving off a half of an eyebrow. and thinking you're invisible. I'm invisible now. No, no. But seriously, tell us a little bit. Now, you're the communications director of Mike Lindell's legal defense fund. Right.

Lendell Offense Fund. What's that? It's the Lindell Offense Fund. And I have to ask you to excuse me for my voice. I'm just recovering from an emergency epidemic last week. Holy God. Are you? I'm okay.

Wow. I'm just rather sedentary lately, but, uh, but, aren't most appendectomy's emergency? I would think so. Yeah. So, okay. But I like to say, by the way, that people ask me, why did your, your appendix fail?

I said, well, there's all that toxic democracy in Chicago at the DNC. Oh, my gosh. Well, why, why did you and Mike, I mean, this is a while ago now, but we haven't had you back. And I've wanted to talk to you about this. We love Mike. And I guess why did you, I mean, I have a number of friends who were at the DNC in Chicago, and I just thought to myself, I would rather, you know, go anywhere. How, what was that like being there with Mike?

And was he at all undercover? I mean, it just seems like shaving his mustache is not exactly going to do it. The man is intrepid, and it was amazing because I was there with him just after he shaved the mustache. We went out on the streets. actually to the place where the pro-Palestinian protests have been happening. And here I am his Lindel Offense Fund Communications Director, but I'm also serving as sort of a de facto bodyguard. Rudy Giuliani looked at me because I met him in person for the first time.

He said, oh, you'll do. But he's out on the street. There's all kinds of people going around. Gosh, Ben Berkwen was there. We're all kind of watching out for each other. But most people at first glance, they didn't recognize him. He had the mustache off, a hat, sunglasses. But one lady went by at one point and said, I know you're Mike Lundell, you can't fool me.

And basically he did this not just as a publicity stunt, but because he wanted to get the media's attention to something very, very important that was going on there, which... Excuse me, would that be his upper lip? Yes. He didn't just want to get the media focused on his upper lip, but he wanted them to be focused on what? the fact that a lot of Democrats, including Chicago Democrats, are flipping. And this led to the very next day, an event with Frank Speech, where a whole group of Democrats came in. They were all Black Democrats from within Chicago, sat down in a room, and one up to the other one on Frank Speech. Mike was there. I was there. We got to talk to them, hear their stories. They're amazing.

I mean, people in Chicago are fed up. They've been made promises. They've been told that their communities are going to be invested in, and then the government turns around and puts that money toward illegal immigrants. And people are catching on to it. So what Mike wanted to do with this shaving of the mustache and everything was draw the cameras so that he could share their stories. And they're incredible. And you can go to Frank Speech and see some of those stories, some vignettes. I met, gosh, his last name's Mohamed. Tyrone Mohammed, who's the director of ex-cons for Trump.

are they have amazing stories. I found myself. Ex-cons. Ex-cons for Trump? That's a group. I had not heard of that. Yeah, it is. And it's interesting because within certain cultures, there is a high incarceration rate.

There's the sense of, like, we're not being helped. We're being prosecuted and put away and throw away the key. I had a very good conversation with this gentleman. I'm going to have him on my show eventually. But, you know, being an ex-felon, he can't vote. But he's devoting so much time. and energy to telling people, look, the Democrats, they don't want to help us. They're selling us out.

And they're all switched for Trump. It's amazing stories. You're sitting in there knowing that you have very different lifestyles, neighborhoods, everything, but you're identifying because there's a mom getting up and saying, look, I'm trying to get my child a good education. We struggle sometimes just to figure out how to afford groceries. And I'm sitting there with tears rolling up my eyes because it's like, this is now the American experience.

This isn't just an inner city thing. Well, I have to say, you know, you can fool people for so long. And it's been a long time that the Democrats have taken black Americans for granted and promised and promised and promised and promised. And I think we're at that point where it is so bad and it's been so long that many, many of them are waking up. And it's exciting, frankly. It's exciting they're not fooled by Kamala Harris or increasingly fewer are being fooled by Kamala Harris and the nonsense that the Democrats have sold, that they have helped nobody, least of all, have they helped folks in the inner city in places like Chicago.

And it's obvious that finally people are waking up. It's just gotten that bad. You're involved in some. much. What else should we talk about? Is there more about Mike that we should cover? You tend to see from the media, you know, the lampoon Mike. They'll try to make it look like he's losing all over the place. And it's, it's, I find it confusing. I know Mike has, you know, given his life for this stuff. He He has been so nonstop. I mean, it's unbelievable. I just want to say that. Well, so there is a lot going on, but you just said you had an emergency ependectomy. What? Yeah. Last Monday night, I spent a night in a lot of pain. It felt like someone had just punched me full on in the stomach. It was nauseous.

We weren't sure what was going on. You know, was it stomach flu or what was it? But by Tuesday, we had finally got. gotten a cat scan and they said your appendix is ready to burst. So pretty quickly after that, they had me under and took out my appendix. It was just that quick. So. Wow. Yeah. Not a real fun thing, but it, you know, it reminds you. More fun than having it burst, I think. More fun than having it burst. Well, it is. Yeah, it is. And after the surgery, obviously there's a healing that takes place, but it's such a relief to get that sucker out of there.

But yeah, you've put some stuff that I've written in there. You said this, the current issue is James. Dr. James Lindsay. James Lindsay. And you said in the issue you're talking about what is democracy. And again, when people throw around. the term democracy. Even folks on our side do it, I always want to correct them and say, yeah, we're in a constitutional republic. It's different than a democracy. And you can understand

why it took so long for the United States to come into being for people to govern themselves, because it's not so easy. If you say to people like, hey, everybody gets a vote, you could have mob rule. You have to structure it so that, you know, because evil people can use pure democracy and often do. But we have something different here. We have an ordered republic. It's a little different. Yeah, and it's underlaid by some democratic principles,

but the Greeks themselves, many of them, warned against pure democracy because it does lead to mob rule, which then creates chaos and usures in tyranny. And that's what I've seen that, you know, the communists appropriating this word for, for decades and decades, you know, Fidel Castro said, he told, I believe, was ABC News at the time. Oh, no, I'm not a communist. I'm a Democrat. I'm, I'm democracy, he said in his broken English. And so we have articles like, Why Socialists Love Democracy. That's when I wrote,

The Great Democracy Deception by someone with the pen named Madame Publius, which is very interesting. I bring in some quotes from you, Eric, from your Bonhoffer book, Pastor Martyr Prophet Spy. we have the third red scare, the left socialist agenda in the future of America. James Lindsay came up with a brilliant title. His title is Democracy. It took a lot of thought. How China can defeat the U.S. without firing a shot. Joe Hoff, saving democracy the communist way.

And then we have an excerpt from a book. There's an author who contacted me. He has a series called King Maker, where it's kind of like a contemporary fiction as opposed to a historical fiction. but he very much has seen these things coming. So it's very interesting. You can read it or you can listen to it. If you click the little sound button, it's just 38 minutes of listening. So what we're wanting to do is take issues, take trends from today and put them into a context of history and culture so that people can really understand what's going on in the world.

So what were you talking about earlier when we were off the air about Americans who are in trouble who want sanctuary? What do you mean by that? Explain that. Sure. Well, Eric, you know, I've been on your show a couple of

of times talking about our history over the past four years as sort of unwitting political dissidents. I've been arrested twice simply for speaking. And recently in Surprise, Arizona, there was a mother there, believe her last thing, was Massey. She was getting up during the public speaking session, criticizing a huge pay raise for one of the city employees and one of the city administrators. and she was arrested. It went very public. You can see it all over social media still. It's a pretty hot topic.

But I watched this, and it was very, very much like my first arrest. And I've been warning for four years now, starting with an article that I wrote called How to Murder Millions, where all of this is going. And, you know, Eric, like I told you once, when I saw your book letter to the American Church, it resonated with me so much because I think you're one of the few people who really deeply understands where this can go. and it's not just wishful, you know, it's not just pie in the sky like this could happen. It's already happening. And so I felt this desperation to wake people up. I felt that from the time that, you know, I was, I was handcuffed, unjustly, falsely arrested, arrested again a year later, had five police officers outside my house.

So I've made some video. I did a show yesterday with your friend in mind, Eddie Bryce and Sikh Smith, whose family escaped communism in Cambodia. and I'm working very, very far to get this discussion out there because, look, in two weeks, we could have President Trump thrown into prison. He could be Epstein in there for all we know. We have Steve Bannon in prison, whereas Merrick Garland, who did the same thing, and I would say worse, is Scott Free. Peter Navarro just got out Tina Peters in a state where Venezuelan gangs are taking over apartments. They're probably going to throw a 68-year-old woman in prison for the rest of her life for doing her job and being honest. For those of us who have experienced this kind of targeting and persecution from the government,

it's time to wake up and say, look, we have sanctuary states for illegal immigrants. We have sanctuary states for transgender, you know, kids who don't want to do the right thing and tell their parents. We have for people wanting abortions, sanctuary states. But we don't have anywhere for American dissidents to go. And we know that the DOJ is corrupt. We know that there's a ton of corruption in the legal system. because of that, the word lawfare has become a household word. We could be two weeks away, conceivably, we could be two weeks away from having our presidential candidate imprisoned.

Some people get very upset about it. They declare martial law. They shut down the election. That's just a possible scenario. But I think, Eric, people tend to look back at history and the things you've written about Bonhoeffer, for example, or what happened with the Soviet gulags and think, well, that was there. That's interesting history. that could never happen here. That's the same thing every one of them said. So I've been working for the, excuse me, the last three years to find out how can we give sanctuary to political dissidents? I'm one of them. Hang on a second. We're going to go to a break. Kelly, you're talking about, I mean, look, there are people like you, me, to a lesser extent, we've experienced what can happen. We've had it happen to friends. We know people. And we know that this is not, you know, just the febrile imaginings of, you know, a bunch of chicken littles. Oh, this guy's falling. We're losing our democracy. We can't.

No, no, no. This is actually happening. If you have eyes to see and ears to hear, you know. it's happening. It's horrifying to see, but it seems to me that only by seeing it actually happened to a few of us, is it waking up other people? So this is real. What you just mentioned, I mean, you've been arrested twice. That's a whole story you've told on this program, but you just mentioned a woman who was arrested for criticizing the mayor of a, I don't, I don't even get how that's possible. How is that possible? Yeah, I just put out a video about that.

I put her arrest in mind side by side and shared some comments that I've done on various shows. It's possible because these people sit up above everybody like kings, like royalty. They're literally up above you. And they think that they can make rules, administrative rules that deprive you of your constitutional rights. And if you watch the arrest of this lady, she's adamant. She's firm just like I was. But she says, he says, we have this rule. You can't speak about such and stuff.

She says, well, I have the First Amendment. He said, well, that's your opinion. So they, and here's the problem, too. A lot of law enforcement follows every thing they say as if they're security guards, as if they're the guards in the royal court. Those police officers should have said she has a constitutional right to speak. We're going to back off. Instead, just like they did mean, they'll go up, they'll do to flee handcuff you,

and then charge you with, you know, disturbing the peace, resisting the arrest, whatever, you know, disorderly conduct, whatever. they want to do. So fortunately, you know, when this happened to me in 2020, there was not much of this going on yet. It didn't get a lot of legs out in the media. But fortunately, for this lady, it is happening. But I've been warning about this for four years. And some people see it. Some people take it very seriously. But a lot of people think, well, that's unfortunate. I'm sorry for you, but, you know, everything's going to be fine. Yeah. Well, look, this is what I keep saying. And there was a clip of me talking in Murfreesboro at World Outreach Church.

I did an event with Seth Gruber and Pastor Alan Jackson. And there's a clip of me saying that, you know, ladies and gentlemen, what you have seen up till now is nothing. If Kamala Harris and Tim Walts get into power, this is a warning, I'm telling you, they're going to come after Bible-believing, constitutional, patriotic Americans like you have never seen because they're going to be able to do it. They can't do it quite yet. But if they get into power, they know that they can get away with it. And so there's been some of it, but you have no idea. And again, you know, you mentioned my Bonhofer book.

When we say, oh, this happened in Germany, we act like, yeah, of course, Hitler. No, no. The people in Germany had no idea. where it was going and they dithered. They said, we don't need to act yet. This will probably turn out okay. The pendulum swings back and forth. We're not worried.

And things we're here today. By not exactly, and that's why I wrote a letter to the American Church, by not acting in time, by not understanding what was coming, they allowed it to happen. They allowed the enemies of civilization, the enemies of freedom, to take power in a way that they, they, they didn't think it could go there. And once they take power, they come after you. So right now, they're picking people off. They're arresting you. They're arresting other people whose names we know, Steve Bannon and so and so forth. But they want to come for anyone. They want to send a chilling message. That's what they do. They want to send the message. This was happening in January 6th. Send the message that if you get out of line, we might come after you. Don't get out of line.

This is the time to get out of line. Everyone should get out of line. Everyone should say, how dare you think that in a country where patriots have died so that I could have free speech, that you would dare to arrest me for expressing myself. This is America. But so many Americans are not aware of this. So many Americans go along with this. And that's why folks like you and me are shouting about this. It's absolutely necessary. So talk about the sanctuary cities. Is this something that you're actually setting up or sanctuary states where people who are being persecuted can go. By the way, I just released a video I hadn't released before with the raw footage of that

second arrest when five police officers showed up outside my house when we were having a family movie night for misdemeanor three trespassing, which is literally in its severity above a parking ticket and below loitering five police officers, FBI was involved. If you do think rule of law, the courts are going to protect you, we were railroaded like you wouldn't believe. Once they get you in the system, forget about rule of law. They rule by law. They use the law as a club, and they don't care.

They'll reject exculpatory evidence. You know, go to Real FreedomTotcom. You can see that. And yes, you're right, Eric, I was respectful but defiant. You'll see that on the video. So I say there's three steps we have to take. One is, of course, vote, vote, vote like your life depends on it. Number two is we need to establish sanctuary areas, and I'll touch on that second.

And the third is be defiant. You know, gosh, Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, Governor Gaines. sent out a warrant for the arrest, they threw it in the trash and refused to be arrested. I did the same thing. I mean, it's fascinating. Even if you read my biography of Martin Luther, you know, Martin Luther, when the Pope sent a papal bull threatening him, he burned it publicly. In other words, there's a time for open defiance.

There's a time to tell people, no, you're not going to get away with it. I know my rights. I know what truth is. I know what lies are. and I'm going to be bold. And if you're cowed by people who want you to be cowed, if you go along with it, you are part of the problem. And there are many people who are part of the problem.

They say, well, I'm going to avoid getting in trouble. It might happen to you. If that's your attitude, folks, you're making this happen. And there are many Christians who go to churches where the pastors and the leadership, they're not at all interested in being involved in this battle, in this war. And I just want to say, folks, if you're going to that kind of a church, you're guilty. If you're supporting churches like that, that everybody who went to churches like that in Germany thought, oh, we're just preaching the gospel.

We're just doing church. If you're going to a church that's looking the other way as evil is happening, as people are being persecuted, you are guilty. You are helping them to be persecuted. And that's why I say if your church will not show letters to, to the American Church. I want to know why are you going to that church. We're going to a break.

Kelly, just a few more minutes. What's on your mind? Well, I saw in your interview with Jordan Peterson. You said something along the lines of it's not okay to just disagree with something

or post something in your mind but not do anything about it. It's not Christian. And I wanted to point out that we not only have the right to be defiant against unjust authority. We have a responsibility and a duty. Thomas Jefferson said, a strict observance of the written laws is doubtless, one of the high duties of a good citizen. It's not the highest.

And then he goes on to talk about, you know, sacrificing the end of the means that if we have a strict adherence to the law and we don't preserve our lives, our freedoms, then it's all for not. That's a really great quote. You can look up later. But what I've really been working on, I took a coalition up to Congress. We spoke to five members of Congress with this idea that, look, school parents have been targeted as so-called domestic terrorists.

They're branching out into other groups. We're now seeing across the world Christians are being arrested for not affirming a gender or towing the local line. And I started this conversation of, look, we need to have sanctuary for these people. because if we know that there's corruption in the legal system, the DOJ is corrupt, that the government's been weaponized against us, if we wait until they're really just pulling people in by the droves, it's too late. Believe me, my family knows what that's like. I hope people will look at our story and others and say, look, you know, this could and probably will happen to me if we don't do anything. So we've discussed various options. One of the low-hanging fruit in my mind is that we need to have sanctuary states, just like we have so-called sanctuary states for illegal. immigration, but we really need, it takes just one to start, a governor or legislature saying, look, we understand lawfare is happening, we recognize the overreach the federal government, we have political dissidents in our own country needing asylum. We're going to provide that, and we're going to review their case. And if we believe this is lawfare, if we believe this is

politically political persecution, we're going to protect them. We're not going to allow them to be extradited. We also, I spoke with sheriff, Mac at length about county sheriffs and their roles to protect people. They can tell them. Sheriff Mac in Texas. From Arizona, yeah. Arizona, sorry. Yeah, sorry.

And the county sheriff has the right to tell the feds to take a hike. You're in my jurisdiction and I'm over the jurisdiction. And he has the constitutional sheriffs and peace officers convention going on in Orlando. later this week. I was supposed to go, but then got the emergency surgery. But they're talking about the county sheriff being the last line of defense against tyranny. So I've been working very, very hard, even pushing myself. My wife has to get me to rest, but because I recognize Eric where this can and will lead because I've lived it. And, you know, let's say we win the election, everything's hunky-dory. It's not going to solve everything. They're going to still keep

trying to kill Trump. They're going to still keep going after patriots, people who love America. So I'm really, really committed to getting a system in place, whatever form that takes. Look, we can't even sue the federal government. Like if FBI agents kick down our door, you know, they have some amount of immunity. So we have a couple of bills drafted and in place. But what I really need right now, Eric, is for people to get into this conversation. We need some big voices because we have to take this seriously. Folks, we talk about this on the program just about every day. This is where we are.

If you're not in this with us, you're against us. If you are going along, if you're going to some church that isn't interested in this, you're helping to make this happen.
