Starting point is 00:00:53 Chug, chug, chug, chug, chug. Stay tuned. Here comes Mr. Chugg-a-lug-lug himself, Eric Mattaxas. Folks, it's that time of the week where I give you a super centennial update. Many of you know I'm working hard on a book on the American Revolution. I am so excited about this and I am just living in the past. I'm living, you know, in the time 250 years ago. And every day I'm coming on, coming up upon new information. So we have a super centennial account on Instagram where we're sharing this kind of stuff every single day. And by the way, the 250th
Starting point is 00:01:40 anniversary. It's called the semi-quincentennial. Nobody's remembering that. Nobody can remember that. So we're branding it as the supercentennial spread the word. That's what it's called the supercentennial. So, all right, supercentennial minutes. This was July 15th, 249 years ago today. July 15th and 1776, Patriot forces in South Carolina, July 15th, 1776, defended Lindley's force. That's in South Carolina against a surprise attack by a combined force of loyalists and Cherokee warriors. Think about this. This was not the British Army. This was loyalists.
Starting point is 00:02:20 This was people who lived in America who sided with the crown and Cherokee warriors, some of whom approached the fort disguised as friendly neighbors. That is underhanded. That's a scuzzy way to do it. They did. They did. All right. So this assault on Fort Lindley was part of a broader British effort to stir up unrest on the southern frontier, but the Patriots held firm. Their defense turned back the attackers and helped secure the back country, at least temporarily, for the revolutionary cause. The battle of Lindley's fort may have been small and scale, but it revealed the war's complexity, not just redcoats versus rebels, but a conflict where alliances blurred and danger could arrive under any flight. That was 249 years ago today in South Carolina. 245 years ago tomorrow, July 16th, 1779. I love this one. In the early hours of July 16th, 1779, 245 years ago today,
Starting point is 00:03:30 American forces under General Anthony Wayne, Mad Anthony Wayne, launched a daring nighttime assault on British fortifications at Sto Tony Point, New York, that's on the Hudson. The heavily fortified outpost on the Hudson River had been a key British position, but in a surprise, bayonet-only attack, continental troops overwhelmed the defenses in just 30 minutes. The victory was swift, dramatic, and nearly bloodless for the Americans. The Washington, though General Washington, later ordered the fort to be abandoned. The bold raid boosted patriot morale and proved that, even well-entrenched British positions could be taken with resolve and precision. Stony Point became a symbol of American courage and the power of well-planned audacity. So that was July 16th, 1779. On July 17, 1776, that's 249 years ago, this week, well, Cherokee War Parties encouraged and armed by the British, launched a series of coordinated attacks on frontier settlements
Starting point is 00:04:45 across the Carolinas, Georgia, and Virginia. What we mentioned happened yesterday, of course, is part of that. Patriot forces focused on the coast and cities, while the Patriot forces focused on the coast and on cities, the Western frontier erupted in violence with raids targeting homesteads and forts. many Cherokee leaders saw an opportunity to reclaim lands and push back against colonial encroachment, aligning their struggle with British military goals. In response, colonial militias mobilized for brutal counterattacks, sparking a vicious backcountry war that would last for years and leave deep scars on both sides. So the revolution was not just fought, as we said earlier, between red coats and rebels,
Starting point is 00:05:37 It was a multi-front conflict, pulling Native American nations into its orbit and expanding the meaning and the cost of independence. It gets complicated, doesn't it? It's kind of amazing. All right, so following up on our supercentennial week on July 18, 1778, this is now 246 years ago today, American forces, this is so beautiful. American forces, July 18, 1778, marched out of Valley Forge, following the British evacuation of Philadelphia just weeks earlier. After enduring a brutal winter of hardship disease and limited supplies, the newly trained Continental Army emerged stronger, more unified, and under the disciplined eye of Baron von Stubin's reforms.
Starting point is 00:06:34 The British, shifting their strategy to the south, had abandoned Philadelphia and begun retreating across New Jersey toward New York. Washington's army gave chase, ready to test its sharpened edge on the battlefield. Valley Forge, as we said, had been a crucible. Now on the road again, the Continental Army was no longer just a band of militias. It was a force capable of standing toe to toe with the empire they had risen to defy. I have to say, I wrote a report on Baron von Stubin in fifth grade. It's a long time ago. It's got to be, what, 15 years ago when I was in fifth grade.
Starting point is 00:07:16 And the story of Baron von Stubin is itself. And of course, this is going to be in my book on the Revolution. It's an amazing story that this guy comes over and he claims to have worked for Frederick, the king of Prussia, so, you know, military royalty, practically. and he offers himself, offers his services, as many foreign mercenaries did, usually through Ben Franklin, who was in Paris at the time, they would approach him and say, hey, can I get in on this? Baron von Schuven was looking for a job. So he comes over, recommended warmly by Benjamin Franklin.
Starting point is 00:07:51 And it's an interesting thing because it was always, you know, part of the largest story of the revolution, which, as I say, I'll tell in my book, is that George Washington, when he arrives up in Boston in 1775, and he sees this rag-tag group of militias from everywhere, no uniforms, no discipline. He was really grieved. He thought, I need a real army. And so part of the story of the revolution is Washington's ability to convince Congress that I need an actual army. I need the money for an actual army. We like the idea of people, you know, rising up in militias. Like, that's a great idea. But to win a war against the British, you've got to be kidding. We need a proper trained army, a standing army,
Starting point is 00:08:46 an army. And there were a lot of folks in Congress. I think John Adams and Samuel Adams were among them who had some different ideas about this. They were worried about the idea of an army, Army. They wanted to be all volunteer. And Washington really struggled to convince them of this, to convince them to fund an actual army. And so it's interesting how he was such an extraordinary human being that he was willing to work with what he had. But eventually at Valley Forge in that difficult winter, largely under the tutelage of Berne von Stubin, this, you know, these rag-tag forces becomes something different. And anyone who saw them on parade, they really were radically different by the time they march out of Valley Forge. And of course, you know, it was the winter
Starting point is 00:09:49 encampment, but they were there until July. So we said it's July 18th. 1778, that they finally march out in pursuit of the British forces, which, as we said, were evacuating Philadelphia. You'll remember Valley Forge, Pennsylvania was not far from Philadelphia, and it's why they were there. And so now, on July 18, 1778, 246 years ago today, they were able to finally put into practice what they had been learning over the months at Valley Forge. that concludes this week's super centennial segment. It's my joy to speak right now with my friend Ken Fish. Ken, welcome back. Eric, thanks for having me back. It's always fun to be on the show with you.
Starting point is 00:12:53 It's always fun to spend time together. Well, you're a fun friend. That's the only kind of friend I really want to have is fun friends. And you, every time I get together with you, I learn stuff. I see stuff. Let me just say, I want to talk about you. You've got a conference coming up in October 8th through 11th in Nashville. I don't know if I can be there yet.
Starting point is 00:13:19 But anybody who can get there, I want to advertise it on this program just because, well, just because anybody who has listened to my conversations with you over the years knows why I get excited about this. So this is October 8th through 11th in Nashville. And we'll be talking about that. But it's at Bethel World Outreach Church. Okay. So you travel endlessly. Obviously, I know you're going to be in Nashville in October, but where are you right now? I'm in Perth, Australia, and I am exactly 12 hours out of phase with New York City. Okay. See, this is why I ask.
Starting point is 00:14:04 You're in Australia. Okay. Yeah. I'm in the New York area, Connecticut actually, right now. So you travel a lot, and I wanted to talk about when you were last here, because folks know because my mom were spending a lot of time up in Danbury, Connecticut, and you came up to visit his vineyard fellowship.
Starting point is 00:14:35 His vineyard, folks, is a church, a small church. It's one of these nothing hole-in-the-wall churches, not a lot of people on Sunday morning, but it is, there's really no way to describe it except to say the spirit of God is in that place. It is palpable. The leadership of that church, they pray and they fast, and you can feel it when you're there.
Starting point is 00:15:06 And I think that's better than, oh, they've got a delightful little children's program or whatever church is advertised. I mean, the presence of the Lord is in that place. And so I, some months ago, had a sense that we should invite you, Ken Fish, to kind of come and minister. And by the grace of God, you were able to come. And this is a few weeks ago, maybe a month ago now. And it was on a Sunday night.
Starting point is 00:15:35 It was, what, June 22nd, I think. And I'd have to look, but yeah. Yeah, no, it was. It was June 22nd. And sure enough, folks, God showed up. Now, you know, again, I hate when Christians. use terms like that. And they, you know, what does it mean?
Starting point is 00:15:57 Well, people were healed. Many people were what we call slain in the spirit. And if you like me are looking at this kind of thing, you realize that nobody's faking this. Something powerful is happening here. This is not made up. People aren't being pushed to the ground. And there were a number of very powerful prophecies.
Starting point is 00:16:23 I spoke about it on this program where I happened to know, because I know the situation, how amazing these prophecies were. Now, I know there are people who don't even believe in this stuff, and I don't have time now to litigate that case. But Ken, you know, what was your experience of coming to Connecticut? This is, folks, Bethel, Connecticut, the church is his vineyard church. And if you're looking for a place to visit on a Sunday morning, I recommend his vineyard church in Bethel, Connecticut.
Starting point is 00:16:48 I thought the presence of God was very palpable, as you described. One of the things I liked was that the band, they were doing a good job of staying together. I think the musicians term is they were tight. But they weren't, I wouldn't say their technical skill was off the charts because they weren't really playing to be technically proficient. They were playing to bring the presence of God. Worship. And yeah, exactly, true and genuine worship. And so the presence of the Lord filled the building and anyone who was spiritually aware was feeling it. That's what's so interesting to me is that a lot of times people say that and what does it mean? And it can be frustrating to, I mean, I've been many times in church services where everybody else seems to feel the Spirit of God. and I'm just standing there, like, uh, not, not feeling it. But yeah, really, that's, that's the case with me a lot.
Starting point is 00:17:53 But at his vineyard, I have a number of times really felt the palpable presence of God. It's, it just, you know, you start weeping for no reason. That's, you know, it's not normal. So whatever, it was, it was wonderful. And we were together at his vineyard church in Bethel, Connecticut. Now, Bethel, of course, means house of God. So I find it funny that the conference that you're going to be doing in Nashville is at Bethel World Outreach Church. I guess that's not a huge surprise, but it's at least something I have to note.
Starting point is 00:18:29 Can you talk about the conference? Because, again, you haven't done a lot of these. I mean, normally you speak at conferences, but this is one you're actually doing. Yeah, this is the third of three. And we anticipate there will be one next year. The first one two years ago, we called it Fusion. And I didn't know if we were going to do a second one. I was doing it because I felt led, prompted, however people want to say it, felt that God spoke to me that I should do it.
Starting point is 00:19:01 So we did the first conference, and it was a huge success. And many of our speakers remarked to me after the fact that they said, we have not been in a conference like this either ever or in the last 10 years. This was really remarkable. And most of them asked if they could come back and speak the second year. And I didn't even know if we were going to have one until several weeks later. And each of these names has a linkage to the scientific world. But, you know, we can explore that if you want to or not either way. But anyway, the second year, last year, we called it ignition.
Starting point is 00:19:46 So fusion led to ignition. And again, we had our speakers, and they weren't all the same. We rotated some out, kept some of them. Not that we weren't happy with any of them the first year. It was just I was feeling that we needed to go in a particular direction. And so we selected people consistent with that. Anyway, again, I heard, I've never. I've never been to a conference like this.
Starting point is 00:20:12 I've never felt so much unity among the speakers. There's usually some kind of competition or preening going on. This has been amazing. You can't wait to come back. You know, that kind of thing. Is preening a kingdom value? No, it's not. But it goes on a lot in the church.
Starting point is 00:20:30 I don't think it is. Yeah. Yeah, it's pretty wild to say that. Well, so why the one was named, the first one was named, fusion. Right. The second one was named what? Ignition. Ignition. And this one's named illumination. Right. Knowing you, since you were a quantum physics major at one point in your life, is there a reason for this that they're named fusion, ignition, and then this one is illumination? Yeah, there is. We, you know, that first conference,
Starting point is 00:21:10 I had been feeling, I don't know what you want to say, prompted, nudged, bugged, whatever, by the Lord for a while to hold a conference of the type that Fusion was. And our subtitle on that conference was when prophecy and miracles merge. And the way that came about was there have been a lot of efforts made and a lot of recent developments in the field of fusion for peaceful purposes. power generation being the main one. And as it worked out, there'd been a number of significant breakthroughs that were starting to happen. And in some ways, it's been the holy grail of physics for the last roughly 50 years, really since the dawn of the nuclear age at the end of the Second World War, maybe even 60 years. But anyway, Princeton, where I went undergrad, has had a long history in this area, has a Tokomac reactor. There are other places in the world that
Starting point is 00:22:10 have these fusion research reactors. And I've always had this interest in it, but I really felt strongly that there was something to be said for the fusion of prophecy and miracles. Now, fusion itself is a, it's a very complex and technical scientific process, not easily achieved, but suddenly they were starting to get some breakthrough in the field of having fusion occur here on the planet Earth. and as one friend of mine who happens to be one of our repeat speakers, who holds a postdoc in particle physics,
Starting point is 00:22:48 as he said, what you're really trying to do in a fusion reactor is light a star here on Earth. And the way they do that is they fired 93 lasers at a little tiny, it's about the size of a pencil eraser, a little tiny nub of deuterium and tritium. and these lasers converge on it and they heat this thing to like a hundred million degrees centigrade. I think you're mistaken in that. We're going to go to a break. We're going to check on this.
Starting point is 00:23:19 And we'll be right back. Hey, welcome back folks. Talking to N. Fish. So, Ken, we're talking about the name of the conference October 8th through 11th in Nashville is illumination. So the website is kingdom illumination.org, kingdom illumination.org.
Starting point is 00:24:02 And you were just talking about, because you were quantum physics major, and you're talking about the fusion. The next year was ignition, and this one is illumination. And you were just telling us, because I know people at home want to try, this, had to train a whole bunch of lasers on a particle, a few particles of deuterium.
Starting point is 00:24:27 And you said that the temperature at the heart of this clot of deuterium is like 50 million degrees centigrade. Did you actually say that on this program? I did actually say that. That's the low end of the range. There are some reactors. The Taiwanese and the Chinese of late have run them at 100 million degrees. But anyway, bottom line, what happened two years ago in 2023 is they started to hit a sustainable fusion reaction, which has not been something that science has been able to get to, not in decades of pursuing it, but it started to happen. So the point being, in fusion, you have to have certain things happen that don't seem to happen easily or readily, so you have to create the conditions for them.
Starting point is 00:25:24 And so we were kind of using that as a template, and we said, all right, let's see about fusion where prophecy and miracles converge. And we had an amazing outpouring of the spirit with many miracles, many amazing prophecies given. And, you know, many of the people who came, there are people who regularly come to Orbus events. or they've continued writing into us, and maybe they're now part of what Orbis is doing. But many of those prophecies have come to pass.
Starting point is 00:25:58 Many people left that conference operating at a much higher level prophetically than they had previously been able to do. And many people saw an effusion of miraculous events in their lives. And I want to be clear when I see miraculous, I don't mean healing per se. If they were healings, they were of a miraculous type. for example, bones growing or re-nitting or, you know, things falling off that shouldn't have been present. We're not talking about just kind of the regenerative process of the body. So that was year one. And everybody immediately said, that was amazing.
Starting point is 00:26:35 When's the next one? I said, I don't know if there's the next one. I'm not sure. And for weeks, people were saying, you know, you need to announce when the next one's going to be. You know, when are we doing the next one? And I said, I don't know, I don't know. I don't know. but I was praying about it, and presently I felt like the Lord spoke to me, and he said,
Starting point is 00:26:52 there will be another conference, and I want you to call it ignition. And I literally said out loud, that is a dumb name. I am not going to call a conference ignition. What kind of a stupid name is that for a conference? So I'm having this argument with God. And a few days later, there was a notice that came out from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories here in the United States. And they announced that for the first time in history,
Starting point is 00:27:21 they had achieved a stage in the nuclear fusion process that occurs in the like the billionth of a second after fusion occurs. And that too had been like chasing the bouncing ball that no one had ever found. And what do you suppose the name of that event is at the quantum level in the billionth of a second after fusion occurs? Let me guess. Ignition.
Starting point is 00:27:47 There you go. This is so weird. I know there are people listening right now thinking, what the heck? We were talking about the Holy Spirit, the miraculous prophetic, and we're linking it to terms in nuclear fusion. It's a little weird, but I guess if anybody wonders whether. high IQ individuals can believe in the prophetic, you know, I guess they can, we're trying to fool them that that's possible. You, you really, you're not kidding that the Lord speaks a word to you, call it ignition. The previous one was called fusion. And you go, and you, you're arguing with the Lord,
Starting point is 00:28:35 which is funny. And not long after that, you read that people trying to do. do fusion finally have achieved a stage in this thing called ignition. You have it right. Yeah, that's at least remarkable. I mean, people can make of it what they will, but I just find it, you know, genuinely remarkable. It's, I don't think you work it up here. When I read that news release that came out from Lawrence Livermore, I was like, I yield,
Starting point is 00:29:09 you were right. Of course you were right. But, you know, you were right. we will call the conference ignition. You know, and it reminds me of when the Lord confronts Job near the end of the book of Job, and he says, who is this who darkens my counsel with words without knowledge? And I was like, yes, that is me. I put Ash on my head.
Starting point is 00:29:28 You know, I was wrong. Yes, Lord, we will do what you say. So last year we held the Ignition Conference. And again, it was a amazing success. People, we had. Was it in Nashville? It was also a national conference. Nashville at the same location at Bethel World Outreach Church.
Starting point is 00:29:46 All right. Well, actually, before we go to the break, let me just remind people. The website is kingdom illumination.org. Kingdomillumination.org. That's for the conference October 8th through 11th. This year, October 8th through 11th in Nashville at Bethel World Outreach Church, kingdom illumination. dot org. We'll be right back with Ken Fish. Welcome back talking to Ken Fish, and we're talking about the third of three conferences.
Starting point is 00:30:48 This one, the third one is coming up October 8th through 11th, this year, October 8th through 11th in Nashville at Bethel World Outreach Church. And this one, the website is kingdom illumination.org. So this third one can, you're saying the first one was called fusion. The second one was called ignition. And the third one is called illumination. And this is not just like a lot of times Christians kind of get into these, you know, they're trying to be hip and they come up with these hip terms like we call our church liquid church or we call it, whatever it is.
Starting point is 00:31:24 I always laugh at this kind of stuff, these kind of trendy things in the church or parts of the church. And so that's what this sounds like. You know, we've got fusion is the first one. The second one is ignition. The third one is illumination. But actually, you have physics reasons for calling them this as you've been outlining, which I just find hilarious. I don't know what to say. Like, it's just so hilarious.
Starting point is 00:31:50 Okay. So the first one was fusion. The second one was ignition. And the third one's illumination. Go ahead. So this year we're calling it illumination. and excuse me so we're calling this one illumination and the thing that everybody's after of course is unlimited energy but we used to say like 40 and 50 years ago in the earliest days of the modern prophetic movement
Starting point is 00:32:18 that the natural speaks of the invisible so you can understand some things about the spiritual realm by looking at nature around us. And, you know, we see this language in the Bible where it says that, you know, what can be known of God, at least in the natural, is through the natural order. Now, there is also specific revelation, which is a standard Christian doctrine, so we're not denying that. But what can we discern from the broader contours of what's happening around us? Well, there is this whole process.
Starting point is 00:32:55 that's been underway in the field of physics, and there's been development and new learning and new breakthroughs, and there have been quite a few of them in the last couple of years. So basically, because of this ignition process, people are now talking with a straight face about building large numbers of fusion reactors to power the cities of the earth, all of the electric cars that, you know, everybody's wanting to drive and so forth. we seemingly have unlimited fuel in the water of the world's oceans. And the only byproducts of a fusion reactor are water and oxygen. So, I mean, there's no externalities, as they call them in economics, that are problematic.
Starting point is 00:33:44 And so with this, they're saying, you know, we may actually be building large numbers of fusion reactors within the decade. and this would effectively solve the world's energy problems. And so our subtitle for this year is Illumination, subtitle, Light the World. And we have speakers that are consistent with that theme. And again, you don't have to be a scientist. You don't have to be expert in physics to understand this. We do have one person who is a Christian preacher who used to be a particle physicist and knows his stuff. He went to a very good school as a physicist, and he was making obscene amounts of money
Starting point is 00:34:23 doing what he was doing before he entered the Christian ministry. So anything that anyone might need to understand from the science standpoint is boiled down to a layman's level and explained well. But it's really more to understand a template. What's God doing in the earth? Well, the natural speaks of the invisible. And so we want to understand how do we like the world with the gospel, even as the scientific community has talked, about lighting the world with fusion electricity. I'm sorry, why?
Starting point is 00:34:53 It's it. This is funny for me. This is really funny. Okay, so did you say at one point that the scientists who are working on this are postulating the possibility within the decade of solving the world's energy problems? did you say this? You did hear me say that. Okay, now, sounds kind of crazy, Ken. Can you help us?
Starting point is 00:35:22 Because if that's possible, that changes the world economy more dramatically than anything in our lifetimes times 10. That is exactly correct. This could be the dawn of some kind of a new age of, I don't know, prosperity, possibly peace because we don't need to have oil wars anymore. This is a really, really big deal. And I believe the spiritual parallel to the natural is that right now, all over the earth, there are crazy, amazing things going on spiritually. Enormous numbers of people coming to Christ, new church movements being birthed.
Starting point is 00:36:06 And just to throw out a couple of data points, in the United Kingdom this year, the number of people attending church has doubled this year. And we're only in July as we're recording this. In addition, my own home church, and to be very clear for our listeners, I don't lead the church. I'm part of the leadership team of it, but I'm traveling a lot. I'm in other cities like Perth, Australia. And therefore, I would be a very lousy pastor because I'm not around to actually do a pastor's job.
Starting point is 00:36:39 But sometimes I'll zoom in and I'll preach remotely. when I'm home, I often get asked to speak from the pulpit and more. My church, the church I attend in Southern California, about 10 miles from the Los Angeles International Airport, this calendar year, 2025, since January, we have had over 3,000 people come to faith in our church. I'm not telling you about something across the world. I'm telling you about where I go to church.
Starting point is 00:37:11 What is the name of your church in that area? Jesus Center. Jesus Center, and what is the town, city? It's in, I think our office is in Lomita, California, but we need in Torrance. They're adjacent cities. It's a different to that. Lawrence, California. And the name of the church again, Jesus Center.
Starting point is 00:37:31 Jesus Center. I wish I had time to visit. That's, I mean. You could have Daniel on the show and interviewing. Well, sometimes people mention. things like this, like you say, 3,000 people have come to faith in the last six months. And I just think, really, that's crazy. But I know you, you're my friend, and I know you don't exaggerate. So that's outrageous. And I think part of what I like to do on this program, I sometimes say that
Starting point is 00:38:01 our motto is truth, humor, hope. We need hope. And so remarking on these kinds of great things is important because it gives people hope. It says, wait a minute, I'm not hearing about this. That's exciting. That's beautiful. When we come back, I'm talking to my friend Ken Fish. Don't go away. Welcome back.
Starting point is 00:38:40 A few minutes left with my friend Ken Fish. We're talking about, well, we're advertising the Kingdom, the Illumination Conference, October 8th through 11th, Kingdomillumination.org. All right, so what else, Ken? So again, the natural speaks of the invisible. There have been a lot of breakthroughs scientifically, but where we're going with it is there have been a lot of breakthroughs and there seem to be a lot more of them coming in the realm of the spiritual.
Starting point is 00:39:10 And so I've mentioned what's happening in the UK. I've mentioned what's happening in my home congregation in Los Angeles area. But there are many other places across the earth where there seems to be an explosion of people being converted. People, and by the way, this isn't just pray a prayer and then fall away next week. It's pray a prayer and getting integrated into the church. So churches are growing, and there is, I'd say it's early days, but there is something that I think has the logical outcome that we will see a shift in all of our societies with a re-emphasis on the Judeo-Christian tradition. Now, that never comes easily, of course, and we can simply look at the conflict that's going on in the Middle East and say, wow, it seems like Europe is turning Muslim.
Starting point is 00:40:02 But in fact, I think God, part of his grand strategy, is literally the reconversion of the West. And I think we're seeing the early stages of it. Well, it's good for me to hear this, and it's good for this audience to hear this because we need encouragement. I mean, when we've had many guests on the show, like my friend John Smirak, talking about the death. of the West, the death of England and the Western Europe and on and on and on. And at the same time, you're telling me there's other stuff going on. And we tend not to hear about this other stuff. So it's why, again, it's why I believe God has called me to do this radio program
Starting point is 00:40:44 is to get the word out about what's happening, that the news is not reporting on, and that the pseudo-Christian Christian news is not reporting on. Because this is amazing. And I think I have to say this. I've said this many times in the last year. A lot of people, including Christians, have lost faith about God working in history. They kind of act like, yeah, yeah, yeah, nothing ever changes. But things do change. God comes into the world in history at a certain date. God parts the Red Sea. God does stuff. The Reformation happened. and changed the world. Asusa Street happened. Stuff happens. And I think we have to have a sense of expectation that the God who made things happen in the past is making things happen in the present. And I really believe that there's a revival beginning, as you've been talking about. And that it's not just revival. It's not just evangelism, but it will change everything. And that there is, by God's grace, a new golden age coming. We don't know what it looks like.
Starting point is 00:41:50 All we know is we have to keep our eyes on Jesus for whatever that means. We've just got 40 seconds left, Ken, final comments, please. Well, I just want to encourage people that this is happening probably somewhere near you. And if there was ever a time to double down on your Christian faith, get engaged, be a disciple, a real living disciple, not just somebody who can, like, thump the Bible. This is that time, because Jesus said, I can only do what my father is doing. we can only do what our father is doing, and this is what the father is doing. So get on board. The train's pulling out of the station. Yeah, that's so encouraging. Thank you. Well, let me just remind people that you are with Orbis Ministries, ORBIS, ORBIS, if you want to look up Ken Fish, Orbis Ministries,
Starting point is 00:42:43 ORBIS Ministries, ORBIS. And the conference is October 8th through 11th in Nashville at the Bethel World Outreach church. All the information is at the website, at the website, kingdomillumination.org. Kingdomillumination.org. Very exciting. I hope I can be there. Ken, my friend, thank you. My pleasure, Eric. I'm glad we could talk about this.
