Starting point is 00:00:56 I tell all my relatives to take it. relief factor.com. Welcome to the Eric Mattaxas show. Beats the show about everything. And we do mean everything. Yes, even that. Yep. And that too. Oh, you bet. Definitely that.
Starting point is 00:01:19 Now here's everything you want to know, host, Eric Mataxis. Hello, America. It's the Eric Mataxis show. I'm sitting here in my home bunker with my friends. Albin. Albin, are you there? I'm here. I'm here. And Chris Himes, are you there? Hello. Hello, I'm also here.
Starting point is 00:01:39 And James, our engineer, are you there? I am here. This is absolutely nuts. We're just, we've been forced to do the show this way, but we thought it would be more fun for you listening and viewing. And we hope you are viewing. We're going to post this on YouTube during this crazy time of this pandemic. We've got regularly scheduled programming mostly. Today, we've got fresh fish.
Starting point is 00:02:07 that's Ken Fish. Albin, I thought you'd like that. I love it. I think that's very, especially here in Terrytown, where we need fresh fish. You need fresh fish. Aren't you, like, you're in the epicenter of this pandemic? Are you in the Wuhan province? No, no. I'm in New Rochelle, or I'm near New Rochelle.
Starting point is 00:02:25 It's just about like seven, eight miles away as the crow flies. And you know who used to live in New Rochelle was Rob and Laura Petrie? Well, Alan Brady's show is on hold right now because the head writer can't get into Manhattan. to work on it. And you know what you have in common with Alan Brady. I do. I'm the, yeah. You lost your hair. Well, that's Mel Coley. I'm the producer of the show. No, I'm sorry. Listen, folks, you're just tuning into the Eric Metaxis show. We have Kenfish both hours today, right? We have fresh fish. We had Kenfish yesterday, but we've got so much more with Ken. So we're going to air that today. But it's a crazy time. Let me just make a few points. First of all,
Starting point is 00:03:07 We're going to be doing this as far as we know into the future because we don't have the ability to go into the studio. Our gorgeous TBN studios downtown have been shut down. Mayor de Blasio and his friend Joseph Stalin have declared a national emergency. So we're going to be doing this from our homes. And now I'm wondering, people can see me, but Albin, can they see you? I don't know if they can or not. By the way, Mayor de Blasio is at the gym right now. I know.
Starting point is 00:03:40 Making his dictates. I know. He said that the Reichstag burned down and he's going to declare martial law. It's very, very curious. Okay, so today we have coming up Ken Fish, but we've just got a couple of things to remind folks of. Number one, this is a very serious thing. So we're going to joke around a lot. But also, I want to exhort people to pray.
Starting point is 00:04:04 The other day the president did something. I was so thrilled. I was thrilled that the President of United States declared a national day of prayer. And to his 70 million followers on Twitter, he tweeted out the service that my friend Jensen Franklin was having in his empty church in Texas. But it was an amazing service.
Starting point is 00:04:24 It was an amazing message. And Jensen told everybody, like zillions of people who are watching, please do not send money to our church, send it to your local churches. And it's just an amazing thing that America can come together in prayer. Suzanne and I are praying every day. We may even pray on this video if we get up the courage to do that.
Starting point is 00:04:42 Because I just feel that we need to encourage each other. This is very real. And we have people scorning prayer. I talked on Newsmax the other day about how absurd and sad it is, that they're people making fun of the fact that the vice president was praying with the task force. I mean, it's just madness. As if praying means I'm going to do nothing but pray. That's just a lie.
Starting point is 00:05:03 And it's sad that people would even say that. So we're going to be praying. And I believe the scripture says all things work together for good for those that love the Lord and are called according to his purpose. So that recalls real faith. Do we actually believe that all things work together for good? Even bad things like pandemics can work together for good in ways that we may never see. But that's what God promises.
Starting point is 00:05:28 So I'm standing on that. I know that it's true. And I want to encourage people that there's, there are silver linings in this. If you put your heart in God's hands, there's a silver lining. Okay, a couple of things to cover. First of all, we're going to be praying, and we're going to be talking about that every day on this part. This is the opening part, right?
Starting point is 00:05:47 So we're going to do this. Then we're going to have Ken Fish is going to come on. We're probably going to re-air what we're doing right now in hour two from the beginning, but we've only got a little Ken Fish for Hour 2, and then we're going to have more of this and more information we want to communicate. So first of all, I want to talk about our fundraiser that we're doing with food for the poor. Whenever things are happening that are bad, we've got to think, what can I do that's good? We know that food for the poor, I mean, here we are talking about maybe not being able to get toilet paper. Frankly, there are people in Guatemala who are depending on us right now to help them get food for their kids.
Starting point is 00:06:26 So I still want to encourage you. go to our website metaxis talk.com. You'll see the banner for food for the poor. $80, folks. If you want to do something amazing during this time, $80 can feed someone for an entire year. Now, I know there are folks out there that are hurting. Frankly, I'm hurting. All my speaking engagements, which is a significant part of my income, and I'm not kidding,
Starting point is 00:06:51 they've been canceled into the future. A lot of people are hurting right now. But let's stand together that God has a plan. And if you have the ability to give to food for the poor, go to metaxis talk.com and give what you can. As you know, every week, we're choosing a winner, a grand prize winner so that when Marshall Law is no longer declared, people can come to New York and visit me and Albin and Chris and James and enjoy things with us. I also want to say that during this time, we are, we have a new sponsor, as I said, honor bound coffee. One way you can support the program is by supporting our sponsors. MyPillow.com, put in the code Eric, and also honorbound coffee.com.
Starting point is 00:07:35 Now, honorbound coffee, folks, whatever profits they make you know go to helping military families. That is amazing. That is absolutely amazing. Honorbound coffee.com. That's another great thing that you can do. Alvin, what am I missing? There's so much else. Well, you might want to talk about some of the guests that we have coming up because we have
Starting point is 00:07:55 plenty of guests that we pre-recorded before this crisis, right? So we have... Yes. When there were still people that we... When there were still people in the streets coming into the studio. We had amazing guests. We had an amazing guess. This week we were supposed to have Katie Hopkins on.
Starting point is 00:08:14 She's in New York. Maybe I'll get her to come to my apartment. But then Suzanne will make me clean up and everything. And I don't think I'm going to do that. But Katie Hopkins, I think, is in New York. But we have Bob Woodson, one of the most amazing figures I have ever known. He was a leader in the civil rights movement and has just become an extraordinary, extraordinary leader in the black community. Somebody that I love and respect.
Starting point is 00:08:41 I only got to know him about a year ago. We did an amazing interview with him. We will air that, I think, if not this week, then next week. Yeah, yeah. He talks about, well, Bob Woodson, again, he talks about that 1681. project, how he is a new project, 1776 unity. Right, but he's talking about the 1619 project that the New York... 1619, I got the big. It's a horrible, horrible, it's a lie. It's an awful thing. A distortion of history. What else do we have that's exciting? I don't want to run out of time.
Starting point is 00:09:14 Well, we have a guy talking about the AI. You know how people are afraid that artificial intelligence is going to take over the world? And from a Christian point of view, he's got some interesting facts Right. I'm in a bunker and I'm running out of oxygen. So I'm just going to keep going here. I want to say that Albin, I'm glad that even though you know the epicenter of the virus, it has not claimed your life. I'm afraid it has claimed your hair.
Starting point is 00:09:41 And we're going to have a proper season of mourning for that. I'm all full up here. Don't worry about me. I've got every, all my supplies. I'm looking into hair plugs myself. Okay. Also, I want to say the National Day of Prayer, it was so moving. to me that I want to repeat that. We need to pray. It's an exciting opportunity. I believe God's
Starting point is 00:10:02 going to bring revival to America through the horror of this virus. We know that in the scripture, it says in the story of Joseph, what man intended for evil, God turned to good. God can turn anything to good if we pray. So pray that God would have his way during this time. I just want to be really be blunt and outspoken about that. We believe in prayer. It's real. The other day to celebrate the National Day of Prayer, Suzanne and I watched two sermons. I'm going to be sharing some of those with everybody in the course of time. Anyway, we're going to go to Ken Fish. So we've got a wonderful half hour with Ken Fish. We will replay this 10 minutes before the second hour with Ken Fish, but then after the second hour of Ken Fish, because we've only really got like 20 minutes with him,
Starting point is 00:10:50 we will come back on and give you other updates. Thanks for listening. Hey there, folks. This is Eric Metaxis show, and what, Ken Fish? What are he still doing here? You didn't kick me out yet. I didn't kick you out. So we may as well continue our conversation.
Starting point is 00:11:31 It's always so fun to talk to you. You're doing, you're filming courses for a ministry school to teach people how to do some of the stuff we're talking about. That's right. Okay. What about that? When is that going to be available? Okay. So the school should launch either the very end of March or early April.
Starting point is 00:11:51 So we're just about there. I spent most of January in the studio filming every day, like eight, ten hours a day. It's exhausting, by the way. I've never done anything so tiring. But anyway, I spent every day of the week for almost four weeks filming the content of this school. So when we launch the school, it will have two major buckets. first subject will be healing, and it'll have three levels, level one, level two, level three. They're meant to be taken sequentially.
Starting point is 00:12:23 And then the other subject will be prophetic ministry, level one, level two, level three. And so we'll be doing a lot of scriptural teaching. I'll be talking about how these things work, how to unpack it, how to start getting activated. There'll be lecture notes, there'll be quizzes, there'll be all of that that will be part of the school. And once a month we'll have an online interactive, you know, class for those that are enrolled in these schools where we can debrief and unpack what we're doing. We'll also have a once a year gathering, but that'll obviously need to wait a bit. So we'll have these two subject matters. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:59 And then later on this year, we will launch two more around inner healing and deliverance, again, with three levels of each. And so this is all you doing teaching on all this stuff. Right. And when you say a school, what is it, people just go to the website and they find it there? Yeah, so this school, we're already using the new name. In the last segment, we were talking about how I'm going to change the name from Kingdom Fire Ministries to Orbis Ministries. ORBIS. And you're going to sell fishing tackle and some clothing?
Starting point is 00:13:28 No, that's Orbis. Oh, Orbis. Orbis, like orb. Right. Okay. It's actually a Latin word, and it means unto the world. So, anyway, we're starting to do some promotional through Instagram, Facebook, so people look for Orbis School of Ministers. Or BIS, Orbus School of Ministry?
Starting point is 00:13:46 Right. They will, their search engine will help them find it. Okay. And they can start tracking. We'll have some free content to give people a sense of what it's like. Right. And if they like it, they can sign up and join us. And so, anyway, we're launching that school, and the objective is to train more people to,
Starting point is 00:14:04 well, John Wimber used to say, do the stuff. You might say what stuff? Well, healing is sick, raising the dead, cleansing lepers, driving out demons, operating prophetically. These are all part and parcel of what's supposed to be the normal Christian life. For a lot of people, you know, they can't get to my meetings or they may have listened to recordings, but they want to go further. They want to learn more. They need some additional equipping.
Starting point is 00:14:27 And that's what this is designed to do from the comfort of your own home or on the beach or in the park or wherever you want to sit and watch the classes and do the homework and so forth. Now, you're here in New York this weekend. That's right. will air after all this stuff happens, but you're here this weekend, you're doing a thing tonight, and then all day tomorrow. That's correct. So tonight, like, how do you normally do, when do you do, you know me. I always, I'm always impatient.
Starting point is 00:14:54 I want to do the stuff. I want the prayer and the ministry because I get excited by that. And a lot of the teaching I've heard. And so I'm less excited about that, but it's obviously important you do it. But typically that's what you do, right? You teach and then you pray. That's right. Okay, and so you're doing that tonight, and tomorrow, what do you have, two sessions tomorrow?
Starting point is 00:15:15 Three. Three. Yeah, so it'll be a four-session event, and I'm teaching on evangelism, which a lot of people go, but I'm trying to do it, so it's both fun and engaging, but also hopefully it looks a lot more like biblical evangelism, where the spirit of God is working alongside of us in order to activate people, and I could say, effectuate our evangelism. so that people come to faith. Well, of course. I mean, if you go to somebody to pray for them or you're talking to them and God tells you something about them, or you pray for them and they get healed, they're going to take what you're saying about God and Jesus and the Bible a lot more seriously.
Starting point is 00:15:58 I mean, it's obvious that that's all through Scripture. Jesus did that and all the apostles did that. So it's not, I mean, the only question is some people say, well, are we supposed to do that? We're supposed to just preach out of the word. And you and I would say nonsense. There are plenty times that this is exactly how God and his mercy wants to reach people. I like to say the Bible is a book of examples rather than exceptions. So a lot of people want to say, well, that was then, this is now it's an exception to the rule. No, this is the way it's supposed to be, and you've just allowed yourself to be, you know, dumb down to the, to the way things are in the world around you. So we're trying to help people move into functioning in this way for a more authentic
Starting point is 00:16:37 experience of Christianity without taking away from, you know, the important things like preaching the word of God in church the way we're commonly used to hearing or taking communion or receiving baptism upon conversion, et cetera. Right. The, well, there are plenty of wonderful Christians who haven't touched on any of this stuff we're talking about. Bonhofer never gets into this stuff. Wilberforce doesn't.
Starting point is 00:17:01 You know what? You can be an extraordinary Christian without moving in this. this stuff. But my question is, why would you want to be? I mean, if this is real and this is really God, why would you not want it? Well, that's another story. I want to talk to you a little bit about the prophetic in our time. There are so many people that make statements about politics or the future and that kind of thing, most of which I find very interesting, some of which I find annoying and off-putting because they're kind of sloppy. And I've experienced a lot of sloppiness in the church among prophets where they will say stuff and that it doesn't happen
Starting point is 00:17:44 and they kind of backtrack and say, well, it's because you didn't pray or it's because they give you some excuse and I think, no, you, okay, we're not going to take you outside the camp and stone you to death, but you need to understand that that kind of prophecy is sloppy. It doesn't honor God. You have to be really precise because what you do is you drive people away from God when you prophesy. I think that the fireman prophet Mark Taylor, he prophesied that Trump would be elected and a lot of interesting stuff. But then he said some things that I guess I feel some of it is true. He was talking about the draining of the swamp and how a lot of things are going to happen and this. And I think a lot of it was real and true.
Starting point is 00:18:30 But then he says something like Obama is going to go to jail. Hillary Clinton is going to go to jail. And I thought, look, anything can happen. If God actually said that to you, then it'll happen. But the idea of a president or a former first lady going to jail, that would tear the country apart. No matter how you slice it, are you sure you heard that from God? And there's certain times when I think people are moving in this prophetic stuff. And as I was just saying, they're sort of sloppy.
Starting point is 00:19:00 They don't seem to understand that. People are going to hold you to what you said. That's right. And you better get it right. Yeah. So there are some prophets who prophesy what I would call risky words, and some of them come to pass. And some people become known for, you know, hitting it on the head, even with risky words. Other people don't get it right, and after a while their own credibility declines, and it, you know, becomes a source of mockery, derision.
Starting point is 00:19:32 Well, as it should, to be honest. Now, why don't people simply say exactly what God is saying, or why don't they simply say, I think God might have said this, but I don't know. Why wouldn't they do that? Yeah. Well, mainly because everybody's looking to attract eyeballs to their social media. Okay, that's despicable. Well, I'm just telling you. Yeah, but I'm telling you that's despicable. When you are working for God, and, you know, this is really a gift from heaven. And if you use it in that kind of way, That's really despicable. And because it's going to drive people from Jesus, frankly, what could be worse than that? Right. So in the book of Romans, it says, if anyone prophesize, let him prophesy according to the measure of faith. So, you know, what faith, another word for faith could be, in this sense, confidence. And I know that there's a lot of theological content behind faith. I'm well aware of that. But in this moment, I'm speaking of that aspect.
Starting point is 00:20:34 is confidence. So if anyone prophesies, let him or her prophesy according to the measure of confidence that they have. So some people might get a word, and you can see what I'm doing with my hands. I might say the word is out here. If they don't have the confidence to prophesy there, they should prophesy here and stop short of that. But sometimes people get a word, I'll say it's here, and they prophesy way out here. And I would have said in my business years, were grandstanding. And so some people want a grandstand, but they're actually prophesying beyond the measure of faith they've been given in an attempt to, well, hopefully it comes good and I get lucky.
Starting point is 00:21:15 I don't know. Anyway. Well, I mean, who was it? There's a woman, Kat Kerr, is that her name? She's the one with the kind of purple-y-haired and stuff like that. She was prophesying that Trump's going to get two terms and that his vice president, Michael, Mike Pence, is going to get two terms. And then Pence's vice president.
Starting point is 00:21:34 is going to get two terms. And I thought that's probably preposterous because, well, I mean, that'd be wonderful. Mike Pence is wonderful. But it's just amazing to me. Oh, we're going to a break. We'll be right back to continue the kooky conversation with Ken Fish. Okay, folks, final segment with my friend Ken Fish, kingdomfire ministries.org.
Starting point is 00:22:23 We were just talking about Kat Kerr, K-E-R, whatever. You don't have much confidence in her. She seems a little wiggie to you, I get very annoyed at people like this, that they're not more careful. I know that there are a number of people I have watched. Some of them seem to be sober-minded and have a sense of the tremendous gravitas to speak for God. And others don't. They seem kind of like jugheads who have no clue that what they're doing is a sacred trust. That's correct, yeah. You know, I think let's shift to a different. prophet. He's now with the Lord. His name was Kim Clement. Yeah. And, you know, Kim was known for his
Starting point is 00:23:05 astoundingly accurate prophetic words. One that he gave, I believe it was in 2013, but I may be off on the year. Somebody could, you know, look it up and search it. But I believe it was in 2013. He said that there would be a man elected president named Donald. And this was before anybody was thinking of Donald Trump as president. Now, I'm not hereby endorsing Donald Trump or disendorsing him. I'm just saying Kim Clement gave a word and it came to pass that there is a Donald who's been elected president. And yet, Kim Clement, who is, I would say, widely reckoned to have been one of the more accurate profits of our time. He died of a brain aneurysm. I think it was three years ago now.
Starting point is 00:23:51 Kim Clement on a few occasions, not many, but a few, he would go on the air because he had a TV show and he would say, I prophesied this, it didn't come to pass, I admit it, I was wrong, and I own it. Boom. And I think if people would just do that, it would clear up a lot of the flotsam and jetsam. So people would say, well, Kim, how did you miss it? I mean, you're a prophet of the Lord. And this is an ultra-important thing, not even super important. And it's like beyond that, okay?
Starting point is 00:24:22 Kim Clement said, I missed it because in my heart, I really wanted it to be so, and I let my own passions sway me. Now, this is a true prophet of the Lord that most people consider to be one of the best prophets of our time. What does that look like? Well, when I teach on prophetic ministry, I talk about something called spiritual neutrality. And what that means is we need to be in our internal man or woman, depending on the gender of the prophet. We need to be, the way I like to describe it, like a ball bearing on the edge of a razor blade. In theory, it's possible to balance that ball bearing and it won't fall off. But you're just a little one way or the other and it's going to fall off.
Starting point is 00:25:07 Okay. Where do we see this in scripture? When Jesus goes to Gethsemini, he doesn't want to go to the cross. He says, Father, if there's any way to let this cup pass from me, let it be so. nevertheless not my will but thine be done. And so he wrestles in prayer three times, ultimately sweating, as it were, great drops of blood. And then he says, Father, let it be your way, and he goes to the cross. Jesus clearly had a point of view. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. But in the end, I'll do it. And so in that, because he's Jesus, because he's fully yielded to the father, he is that ballbearing on the edge of a razor blade. He hears the voice. of God clearly. He says, fine, all right, I'll be crucified. I think because we are human, because we have passions and desires and wants, sometimes people don't hold themselves to that same standard. And yet we should. We should. And so in Kim Clement's case, when he realized, oh, I blew it,
Starting point is 00:26:06 I didn't stay to that standard, he owned it and admitted it. Now, in the case of these words about, you know, Mike Pence will follow Donald Trump and Pence's vice president will follow him, there's really no way we're going to know about those except to let time go by. And pretty soon it'll be clear whether these words are going to fall to the ground or they'll be fulfilled because they were actually originally from God. Well, I think we can look at a lot of other stuff that Kat Kerr has said. And it just seems a little sloppy to me. And I just want to say to these people, the gift that God has given you is just a tremendously
Starting point is 00:26:40 weighty thing. And you need to take it very seriously. and God forbid you would say anything that God didn't say, you know, and I really, it just bothers me. There's a guy, Mike Thompson in Las Vegas, who's wonderful, very sober-minded. There's some people out there that have a tremendous gift, and they seem to have a sense of what this is. And there are other people, I don't know what they're doing, their personalities really, they don't seem to be able to bear it in the way that they ought to. Yeah. Yeah. This is part of the maturation of somebody in their prophetic gift, and it has a lot to do with character, you know, being willing to be wrong, being willing to say, I don't have a word from the Lord when you don't have a word from the Lord.
Starting point is 00:27:27 you know, a lot of times people want to put you on the spot and, as it were, pull a word out of you. But, you know, I think it's worth noting that at least on two occasions in Scripture, and there may be others that I haven't even thought about lately, but I've been thinking about these two. On at least two occasions in Scripture, true, legitimate, authentic prophets of the Lord were asked, do you have a word from God or words to that effect? And they said, I don't actually have a word. I need to go seek the Lord. And then it says, many days later the word of the Lord came to them. One of them is Elijah, the prophet, and it says, you know, many days later, the word of the Lord came to him. It's in 1st Kings 18. And then we see also in Jeremiah 42-7, the elders of Israel come to Jeremiah and they say, do you have a word for us from the Lord about what will become of Jerusalem, what will happen in the war with Babylon? And he goes,
Starting point is 00:28:20 I don't have a word from the Lord, let me go inquire. And it says 10 days later the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah. So I think there's a kind of soberness that you're talking about that we see in these two cases where these prophets, when they didn't have a word from the Lord, they just said, I don't have a word from the Lord. I got nothing to say. Yeah, well, that's the only way to fly, folks. We're at a time, my friend, Ken Fish, thank you so much. Glad to be here, Eric. Just yesterday morning, they let me know you. Hey there, folks. We're back. Starting point is 00:30:02 I'm a James Bondville on today. Is that how you look? And you know, I'm a productive no. And in honor of honor-bound coffee, to support the troops in my own way by wearing these sunglasses, it seems to me that it's the least, I can do during these difficult times of pandemic. Wouldn't you agree?
Starting point is 00:30:23 I think it's a great big drug. Yeah. There's Chris Himes. Hello. How are you? I wanted you to make you jealous. Look at that. I have one.
Starting point is 00:30:37 Yeah, I have a mug. It's very, it's very kind of plain. So it was just a white cup. I just want you to know that honor bound coffee, when they become a sponsor. he sent me some coffee and that mug. Now, I actually have to tell you, it's not that sunny in my room, actually. I have to say that we ran out of Honorbound coffee.
Starting point is 00:31:03 And Susan had to do, this is like in Paris when women would consort with the German officers. Like it's just so ugly that Suzanne crossed the street and bought some coffee at Starbucks. Wow. Our neighbors discover this, they will shave our heads and parade us through the streets like they did in France to the collaboration. Yeah. I hear the network of informants is going wild now under the de Blasio, New York lockdown. By the way, I have a mug that says world's best uncle, so there. We will never buy Starbucks again, but we had to do it.
Starting point is 00:31:42 Otherwise, I wouldn't be awake right now. But it was a shameful moment for us, and we have to order more honor-bound coffee. Honorbound Coffee.com because, as you know, they support military family. So I don't want to make every show a commercial, but until everyone on this program is subscribed to get their coffee. Now, if you have a medical reason, if you can't get their coffee, they have decaf. They do.
Starting point is 00:32:04 Yes. By the way, can I say one other thing about Honor about it before we get away from it? Anne's been wanting me to cut back on my sugar, and I actually use less sugar in our honorable coffee because it's not as bitter. and we have seriously been drinking it the last couple of weeks because we got it from honorbound coffee.com. And we said Eric Mataxis sent us. Does it also cure shingles? What other claims can we make for this honorbrown?
Starting point is 00:32:34 Well, it does not cure baldness, that's for sure. If you have herpes zoster, which is the shingles virus, I think a mug of honorbound coffee will knock it right out. I hope so. Chris, that's like a medical claim. I don't know. I don't know if you can make the medical claim. We're legally not allowed to make that claim. I think it's worth some sort of testing, at least, a small test group of some kind.
Starting point is 00:32:57 I was going to say, and also if you have a bad case of piles, I would say the first thing I would try, and I don't mean topically, I mean, you drink it. You drink the honor bound coffee and just see what happens. If the piles drink, Bob's your uncle. You know what I'm talking about? Oh, yeah. Yeah. this is getting very weird. I was afraid this would happen if I weren't in the studio.
Starting point is 00:33:18 I'm reverting to weird Eric. Alvin, you guys, your job is to keep me on track. Okay. Can I share with you guys my favorite meme so far about the coronavirus? Your meme? First of all, who doesn't hate the word meme, but go ahead. Yes, okay. I've seen one where there's just a picture of a big pile of toilet paper,
Starting point is 00:33:39 and it says if you have to buy 144 rolls of toilet paper to get you through the next three weeks. You should have seen a doctor long before this. And let me get this straight. That's your favorite meme. Well, that is, yeah. Yeah, I have a meme. I know a lot of people are saying that, you know,
Starting point is 00:33:57 in nine months there are going to be all these coronavirus babies. Right. And this isn't a meme, but apparently in China, the divorces have been spiking since everybody's been forced to quarantine in close quarters with each other. Really? Yeah, yeah. So the Wu, it's the Wuhan Tang, Wu Tang Klan, what's it called, Wuhan province?
Starting point is 00:34:19 It's right there. And actually, in all seriousness, this is worth talking about. We are dealing with a horrible enemy in China. I want to be really blunt about that. We're going to have what's his name, Pillsbury. I think it's Michael Pillsbury on the program. I met him backstage at Shannon Breams show. He's a China expert.
Starting point is 00:34:40 It's horrific what they're doing. doing, what they do of their own people. You know, if you don't believe in God and in liberty, you're going to do anything to keep power. And the Chinese at this point, if they can get some tactical advantage through this pandemic, unfortunately, they have no qualms about that. But neither did Russia in its day. So now this is the eight-minute segment, right?
Starting point is 00:35:06 Yes, it is. I want to remind people that in both hours today, we are, our own. Opening 10 was repeated an hour, too. But in both hours, we have fresh fish, which is fresh Ken Fish. Yesterday we aired an hour with Ken Fish, and today we aired even more with Ken Fish. And we've got lots more coming up, not Ken Fish. Anything else we should mention? I feel like I'm forgetting some key things.
Starting point is 00:35:35 Well, we could talk about don't forget to donate to food for the poor. One last session. I think we may lose viewers if we bring that up again. Even though it's a good cause and even though all I have to do is go to metaxis talk.com, I think we shouldn't even mention metaxis talk.com. Okay. Go there. And they go there.
Starting point is 00:35:57 And they're going to be inclined to give because they're going to be realizing that with everything going on, maybe there are people less fortunate than them. And we don't want people to think about that. We just want to be purely positive. Okay. And don't forget. And the next stuff, last five minutes, let's give a report from where we are right now, because I can talk about what's going on at Stop and Shop, the local grocery store here in Terrytown.
Starting point is 00:36:20 I was there just yesterday to check out on the shelves. But I want to save that. I want to save that for after the commercial break. I have a feeling that if people tune into these videos every day, this is going to get very weird. Yeah, yeah. It already has. To my viewers. Okay.
Starting point is 00:36:37 When we come back, we've got a five. We've got five minutes. Wow. We've got five minutes. All right. We'll be back. Okay, folks, we're back. It's the final segment of today's show.
Starting point is 00:37:22 It's here from Taxes show. We are all in our bunkers. We're all in our homes. We're doing the show from home. As you know, we pre-recorded some amazing stuff. We had Ken Fish on earlier today in both hours. We had Ken Fish on yesterday. That was a whole other interview.
Starting point is 00:37:39 and we've got tremendous interviews that we have stockpiled in the same way that we've stockpiled toilet paper and Q-tips, right, guys? Yes. Oh, yes. I got my toilet paper. We're no fools. We've got toilet paper, and we've got tremendous original content. Now, in all seriousness, because every day we're going to be goofy as we do this, but we're
Starting point is 00:37:59 going to be serious, too, because this is a serious thing for a lot of people. I am very, very happy that my daughter is home, because as we know, she's a lot of people. because as we know, she's normally in college. And the fact that she is stuck home with mom and dad blesses this daddy to the bottom of his soul. So I just want to say I'm praising God that we have time that we didn't expect with my daughter. New York is in such a shutdown mode right now. It's just bizarre. We're not leaving our apartment for any particular reason except the cough on people.
Starting point is 00:38:34 Is that wrong? No. Yeah, I think that is wrong here. Okay. So what about you, Chris? You're over the river. Yeah. So we're in Weehawking here. The town next door, Hoboken, was the first town to shut down in the country, actually. They shut down the bars and restaurants at 8 p.m. first, and now I think everything's kind of closed. But, yeah, I'm here with the six kids. That's the real story. And my wife is also working from our bedroom.
Starting point is 00:39:00 And I'm ready to send, unlike you, I'm actually ready to send their kids out to forge for shelter on their own. I'm ready to make them adults. I was just going to say, I can imagine that my longing to have our only child home might be different if there were six of them crawling around. Yeah. Oh, I will say, yeah, stuff. Yeah, I will say Emma, our oldest who went to school with Anna Rose, has been really great. She came up with a school schedule and chores and activity schedule, so she's running the ship down there.
Starting point is 00:39:32 Anna Rose cooked dinner for us last night, and I just want to tell you, I didn't trust it. I said something's, what's happening here? You're going to tell us he killed somebody, right, honey? You can tell them. You don't have to make a spice meal before you tell us he killed someone. No, it was so sweet. You made it.
Starting point is 00:39:51 I don't understand it, but I'm dumb with it. It really touched me. Now, I guess, Albin, you really are in an area that's been seriously affected by this. Oh, yeah. New Rochelle had the first real cases, and it's kind of spread in that area. And that, west of crow flies, it's about the seven, eight miles from where I live in Terrytown, stop and shop where I go for the groceries. The shelves, of course, are cleared out of paper products, and milk and eggs, which I thought was unusual,
Starting point is 00:40:22 because milk expires in about, you know, five to six, seven days. So I guess people are putting it in their freezers. I'm not sure about that. Well, I have to say I was laughing. Andrews was on the phone with a friend yesterday, and she must have got on speaker phone, and I heard her friend, Lillian Shriek. Idris Elba has Corona. And I thought, I'm going to remember that, like 20 years ago now.
Starting point is 00:40:44 What are your memories of the coronavirus? Idris Elba has coronavirus. I think that if you're a celebrity and you want to kickstart your career, claim that you've got it. There you go. You know? I called my younger brother, and I said, hey, you know, just as you do. Like, hey, Stephen, how you doing? He said, well, I'm coughing a lot.
Starting point is 00:41:02 I'm sweating. I got a high fever. But other than that, I'm doing fine. Yeah. Nice joke. We're just about out of time. We're going to be doing this every day, I guess. So join us tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:41:16 We'll probably be more serious because we're concerned. But I want to remind everybody, seriously, pray for this country. Pray that God would wipe out this virus. pray and let's see what happens. Thanks for tuning in. We'll catch you tomorrow.
