Very tough to conceive of what just happened and what it means for the world.

But in this case, it's like it's teed up for you, folks. What you can do is you can help those who are already at the forefront in this war against liberties that we have, patriots have died. Patriots have given their blood and their lives for the very things that are under attack right now. now. And so the least we can do is to help the Alliance Offending Freedom do this. They do, they're not getting rich off of this. Okay. They're doing this because they believe it's right.

They believe in it. And they are doing this pro bono. So, so when somebody comes to them and says, I am being fired, I'm being attacked, I'm being, what do I do? They don't say, well, can you pay? They say, we will take this on because we actually believe in this. And the only reason they can do that is because you give to the alliance defending freedom. So I know there are folks out there who can give a lot of money. I know there are people who can barely give anything, but I'm asking you folks, whatever you can give. Do your part.

It's between you and the Lord. This is not a contest. This is about an opportunity to stand up and to fight for what is right and true and good. And it is going away if we don't fight. And I think a lot of us have been inured to these evils over time. We kind of think, well, there's nothing I can do. That's the voice of the devil. There is plenty that you can do.

Thank you, Eric. Good to see you, too. You're a real encouragement to a lot of people because you are an action. actual journalist. People don't believe that there are such things anymore in America or in the West. You, you always were a journalist, but as most journalists have gone over to, I don't know, opinion or lunacy, you're actually a journalist. We can trust what you say. And of course, today we want to talk about the nightmare of what just happened in Israel. Very difficult.

for us to fathom. What is your perspective on what is happening? You know, Eric, the thing that disturbs me about this, so I have spent quite a bit of time in Israel. I've spent time in Gaza, in the West Bank, you know, all over the Palestinian territories, but also all over the Israeli towns and cities. I was there for the war against Hussauda

and for the second Intifada, parts of the first and third Antifada. So it's not, you know, it's not, it's not unfamiliar to me. But there's something very unfamiliar about what is going on right now that I don't think any of us covering that conflict have ever experienced. And it's got to do with so. We've seen the transformation of Hamas from an organization that would lob, you know, randomly lob a few rockets here and there against the Israelis to a much more sophisticated operation.

I mean, when you're talking about a barrage of 5,000 rockets that is designed to penetrate Israel's defenses, they know that the Ion dome has its limits. They know that their counter-missile defenses don't last forever. And so what they're calculating is that they can break through that by wearing it down. And that means they know that. something about the limits of those defenses. It also shows you coordination. You know,

it's hard to overestimate the degree to which coordination indicates real planning and sophistication in an operation because that is a very difficult thing for just the average guerrilla force or the average insurgent force to achieve. You know, this really indicates when you have people going in by land and by air and by sea, as ridiculous as those air incursions were in the gliders and the mechanized gliders, you know, at the same time, it shows you that these are people

who are capable of coordinating all of that to great effect, because when you combine that with the barrage of rockets, now the picture starts to look very, very different. And what you're seeing here is you saw a sustained attack where Hamas was actually able to take control of Israeli territory,

and hold it for a significant period of time, something that the Hamas of old, it would have been unimaginable for them. It also shows that they had target packages, and they knew specifically what their targets were. And that in itself requires intelligence and forethought, and again, planning. So planning, coordination, training, having enough weapons to carry out. Where you're going with this, Laura? I'm guessing that you're saying that Iran is behind helping them with it. I mean, from the first moment it happened, you could see the fingerprints of Iran, right? I mean, some of the most sophisticated coordinated, coordinated attacks I have a witness unfolding were in Iraq, on the Iraqi battlefield where Iran had a hand in it.

So we know that Iran has a hand in this. In fact, Hamas has come out and said that they did this in coordination with Iran. So that's not a secret. But what disturbs me is that the Persians have very long memories and they're very good at proxies. But we've never seen them pick a fight of this scale with Israel. And they have stated repeatedly that their objective is to wipe Israel off the earth. And you now have an administration in power that can say, they can kick and scream and they can say whatever they like. But they have followed a policy of open appeasement.

with Iran and with Hamas and with, I mean, you know, people conveniently forget that Hamas is still legally and officially a terrorist organization. And this administration had people within the State Department who were riding when they said they were going to unfreeze the aid and the, you know, that Donald Trump had frozen President Trump had frozen aid to Palestinians and they were going to unfreeze that. There were people even within this administration who said, you know, a little bit of a little bit worried that some of that aid is going to go to fuel and Hamas. And, you know, the administration can, they can say whatever they like about, well, the $6 billion is in a bank account. It's frozen. It's not quite. We all know that that's nonsense, right? I mean, people are not that stupid.

They can twist themselves and nuts trying to explain away their policies. But the reality is right before us, that the world today, Iran is. emboldened. Hamas is emboldened. And if you start to look at where do they have, so these are Shiite organizations, right? Shiite Islam is the religion that

Hamas, sorry, that Hezbollah and the Iranians follow. Where else do they have allies and proxies throughout the region? You know, they have them in Syria. They have them in Yemen. They have them all over the Middle East. And now these

organizations are equipped and armed. with much more sophisticated weapons. I mean, in the era of appeasement that really began under Obama that was halted under Trump because he came down like a stone wall and obliterated many of these policies. But what he wasn't able to do was to stop them completely. And so you're now seeing the aftermath, right?

I mean, this isn't just the $6 billion from the Biden administration to the Iranians. This is all the billions of dollars that Obama gave them. as well. The Iranians have been the number one state sponsor of terrorism for decades now across the globe. What does that mean to people? Well, what it means is that they train people like Hamas. They finance people like Hezbollah. You know, they are directly involved in these terrorist attacks. And of course, you know, it's very frustrating when you see people say, well, you care about Israelis die, but don't you care about Palestinians?

Well, of course you do. That's ridiculous. I don't want to say, you. see Palestinian children, you know, his body's being pulled out of rubble any more than I want to see Israeli children being murdered in the hundreds at a music concert. You know, it's, these are, they give us false choices. You know, your choice is not between care about an Israeli child, don't care about it, it's Palestinian child. Listen, I just want to, I want to cut you off and say that anyone with common sense understands this is nonsense. These are satan. These are satan. panic lies, this idea that Hamas would launch this kind of attack and then people are worried about the retaliation is so insane. It's so maddening. We realize that you're dealing with people

that there's no common sense. There's no sanity. They're just crazy. They will say anything, which to my mind betrays their animus against Israel. I mean, the idea that somebody would do something like this and that you would not immediately think, what can we do to defend them? How did this happen? And, you know, when you talk about Biden and Obama, how is it possible to avoid the conclusion that Joe Biden made this happen? How is it possible to avoid the conclusion that Joe Biden made this happen by giving $6 billion to Iran, the policies that you mentioned? I don't know how, how does one get around that? Well, the only people who don't believe that are those who don't want to look at the reality of the Democratic parties in America's policy towards Israel.

I mean, you know, if people remember, right, Obama's relationship with Netanyahu was very frosty, right? I mean, this is, this is something that because so many Jewish people in the United States are Democrats or vote Democrat, they have refused to acknowledge. for years, that the real threat to Israel today comes from the left and not from the right. And it is a threat that has been rising and rising. And you only have to look no further than the Democratic Socialists of America or the squad. You know, look at what Rashida Taleb has said about Israel in the past. Look at what Ilyan Omar and others have said about the Palestinian cause. I mean, the mere fact that all of these people called for rallies, which they think,

said, oh, we're not supporting Hamas. We're not supporting terrorism. And they tried to separate the rallies that took place. These rallies were a celebration of Israeli death. They were a celebration of the death of Israeli children and women and men from the babies who were captured to the elderly. Right. And right now, there are still Israeli hostages. So I don't recall at any time anywhere when there is a, you know, an operation by Israel, anyone who's pro-Israeli rushing onto the streets to celebrate the death of Palestinians.

Look, this is exactly the issue. And that's why people have to wake up and stop listening to the mainstream media. We're going to go to a break talking to Laura Logan. I'm talking to Laura Logan, an actual journalist. list, very difficult to find in this day and age. Laura Logan, welcome back. Thank you so much. It's so disturbing discussing what happened in Israel. You mentioned some things early on. I think you're, you've been so, as a journalist, you're so involved in the details

that you don't realize a lot of people maybe don't know these details. You mentioned a coordinated attack by Hamas that was really unprecedented. In other words, this was not lobbying a few missiles, but it was very coordinated. to overwhelm the Iron Dome system. And also you said, you mentioned gliders. I hadn't heard about that. Oh, yeah, there's lots of pictures of it. I mean, when you're a journalist like me,

you know, I see this happening in Israel, and every instinct I have is to rush to that fire. Of course, I can't do that now. But so I've been following this from the very first moment when it started, or at least when the news hit. And, you know, there was a concert in the desert. that you may have heard about. But it was a music concert.

And there were a lot of younger Israelis and other foreigners, actually, who were attending. And it was not that far from the border with Gaza. Well, this is one of the main areas that was hit by Hamas terrorists who were in these mechanical gliders and they came across the border. There's footage of them now.

People dancing and still enjoying the music. It was around 6.30 in the morning. So some people were sleeping, some people who stayed up all night, and these terrorists fly over with gliders. And what followed at that music festival was an, I mean, it was an unbelievable slaughter. According to the Israeli government, they removed 256 bodies from that site alone. So that is young people that were out in the desert. There's nowhere for them to hide.

They're in an open area. and there was actually one young man who described in his eyewitness account, he described he was an officer or a soldier in the IDF, but he was off duty. And the moment he saw this happening, he said to his friends, hey, we need to get out of here. And they managed to get out.

They were stopped and surrounded. They were fired on repeatedly. They ended up running through fields to escape. But they heard that other people got stuck in a traffic jam, trying to flee the concert. and that it was a bloodbath, basically. And one of the young girls who was at the concert has been identified through a tattoo on her leg

as being one of the bodies in the back of a vehicle that Hamas drove through the streets. I believe it was in Gaza when they returned. And, you know, of course, people were, well, one young man in the video spits on the bodies. In other videos, they're beating and hitting the bodies in the back of the vehicle. It's hard to tell if these people are dead or not.

They certainly look dead. But this young girl's mother said that her daughter was unconscious that she sent this video. And it was possibly just wishful thinking on the part of the mother because that's a pretty horrific scene to see your daughter half naked in the back of a vehicle in the hands of terrorists

and know that she's either dead or very likely dead. But the scene at that concert in the desert, which seems to have been the primary target for those people who glided in. Now, you know, more information could come to light. They may have hit other targets, but we know as well that a must terrorist landed on the top of buildings and they went into apartment buildings. So some of them came from the ground and some of them came from the top, you know. And so you imagine what it was like for the people in their homes.

And I've seen a number of photographs where people have been murdered on their couches, just falling, you know, there's one man falling half off his couch, drowned in blood with terrorists on either side of him. So it's just people in their own homes. One of the videos actually that has become harder and harder to find is a bomb shelter. And you see these terrorists, you can hear them. They open the door to the bomb shelter. And people have already been killed, but they keep shooting. And this is just a sea of blood and bodies, tangled bodies all across the,

floor. These are videos, you know, Hamas is putting out a lot of these videos. So you can see them on their sites. You can see them on Al-Arabir and others. But mostly I've, I've captured them to make sure that they don't get censored because if you hide the reality of what is happening on the ground in Israel right now, then I, my sense from talking to people, even Jewish people that I know all over the world, they're like, ah, you know, I mean, you know, my family's fine, or, you know, I spoke to this one, that one. And I'm not sure that people really understand that this is a very serious. What concerns me is that Hamas knew Israel would retaliate.

Iran knew that Israel would retaliate. All of their allies knew that it would come to this. And I find it very hard to believe that they didn't have a plan for that retaliation. So, I mean, I just have some concern what I'm watching for over the next few days and weeks is what happens to Israel as they get sucked into that retaliation. That's my question. In other words, it seems clear to me that, well, first of all, we haven't said it. I mean, this is the 50th anniversary of the 1973 war.

So this has been planned for a very long time. This is not, you know, this is not a small operation. And then the question is, what do we suppose the enemies of Israel are trying to, to achieve in this. And I want to say, before we go to the break, ladies and gentlemen, you must understand, this is satanic. This is not warfare where you have, you know, men, young men fighting other men in uniform. This is like SS going into Poland and murdering civilians, murdering women.

This is terrorism utterly terroristic. This has nothing to do with normal warfare. We need to make that clear that these are the equivalent of SS troops, the worst of the Nazis, doing evil, evil things. We need to be very clear about that. Folks, welcome back to Sierra from Texas Show. I'm talking to Laura Logan about the horrors, the nightmare of what's just happened in Israel. And I was asking before the break, Laura, what do you suppose is the goal of the enemy? of Israel. Clearly, you just said, they knew that an attack this evil, I mean, there's no other word, utterly evil, evil, evil attack, sadistic, cruel that Israel would and should retaliate brutally.

The question is, where do things go from there? Because we've not seen anything like this in a very, very long time. I mean, does this open the door? to World War III. I don't know how it doesn't because it is just so unprecedented. Well, there's a number of things here. First of all, there's 100 to 200 Israeli hostages still being held by various factions of Hamas. And so the Israelis hands may not be tied. I mean, obviously we've seen Israel has already retaliated and they've gone to a state of war and they have mobilized their reserve troops and so on and so on. But there's no question that by taking those hostages, Hamas knew they would make it difficult for Israel, because if they drop a bomb

on their own people, that's going to be very hard to sell in Israel. At the same time, I don't have to suppose what their objectives are because they tell you over and over again what their objective is. It's never changed. It is simply stated as the annihilation of Israel. They do not want the state of Israel to exist. What is different this time is that you can actually see that possibility. It's actually within view. And people may say, well, that's ridiculous. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who think that that's ridiculous. Maybe they think that Israel is so powerful that that's never going to happen or Israel has such powerful allies and so on. We're in a very different world right now.

The world that we knew during the first, second and third, in defada is where the United States was this staunch, you know, immovable ally of the state of Israel. I mean, I'm just not sure that that's still a reality. I know that Joe Biden came out and said, we stand with our ally Israel. but already there are people in this country who are saying, well, why do we need, you know, Israel's just another foreign war? Why do we need to be involved in just another foreign war? Like, they're equating Ukraine and Israel. Now, to me, that's a fundamental misreading of history.

You have actual Nazis in Ukraine. You want to talk about the SS? Western Ukraine was the headquarters of the SS. You have actual Nazi battalims that fly the Nazi flag who have been getting, you know, billions of dollars in U.S. aid and support and weapons, support from all over the world from NATO countries. Well, now you're going to ask all of those NATO countries to follow a completely different policy in defending Israel. Look at what the Biden administration, the lengths that this administration has gone to to appease Iran is really unimaginable.

It's hard to avoid the conclusion, forgive me for interrupting Laura, but it's hard to avoid the conclusion that President Obama, President Biden, many on the left, are genuinely anti-Semitic, genuinely anti-Israel. Everything that I see leads me to believe that. Then the question, of course, is why? When you talk about whether America would stand with Israel, we know that if Donald Trump were president, there would be no question. In fact, I think if he were president, this never would have happened because Iran wouldn't have gotten $6 billion and on and on and on. So, you know, the question is what America are we talking about?

But I – Yeah, it's a very good question because look at the rallies yesterday. Look at Chicago. Look at Philadelphia. Look at New York. I mean, you have people who are emboldened to go out onto the streets and celebrate the death of Israeli civilians. and also applaud the actions of terrorists because they know that those in power.

This administration can say what they like about standing with Israel, but those people know, right? They know that the money started flowing. They know that the Iranians have been really, they have prevailed over U.S. interests all over the world. I mean, remember when Qasem Soleimani was killed by Donald Trump, There were actually people that were criticizing the United States for taking out the leader of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, the Quds Force, who was the deep person orchestrating and spreading terrorist tactics and terror attacks all over the world, who had been responsible for the death of hundreds of American soldiers inside of Iraq. And you had leaders in the United States government and in Congress who were standing up and criticizing the president of the United States for taking that action.

I mean, that's the United States they know they have at their back, right? The United States that when I came across a paper that was written about jihadis in Libya, and they were talking about how they needed to make. a deal with the Obama administration because they had unprecedented support from the American side to form an Islamic government in Libya. This is not just about giving money to Iran. This is about sending a message to Islamic terrorist groups all across the Middle East and beyond, right, that the Obama administration, the Biden administration, that these people do not really stand staunchly with Israel as they have. in the past. They opened that door. And when they gave Afghanistan to Islamic terrorists in the

Taliban, you know, you don't have to look very hard. I put some of this historic paperwork out on my Twitter feed, and people can go on Twitter and look at it. The Islamic Emirates of the Taliban in Afghanistan have pledged their support to the cause of the Palestinians and to the annihilation of Israel for years. now. The Biden administration knows it. The State Department knows it. And what did they do? They left $80 billion worth of hardware in the hands of those people. But what else did they give them? They gave them the green light. They gave them their own states. They gave them intelligence assets. They gave them, you know what they gave them? They gave them the tarnishing of the ideal of freedom and justice.

It's just a national movement against parents and against religious freedom that we're working as hard as we can to defend Americans against. Well, again, you know, I say to people that it's a lot of times people wonder what can I do. They say, gee, what can I do?

And sometimes, you know, there are many things we can do. but in this case, it's like it's teed up for you, folks. What you can do is you can help those who are already at the forefront in this war against liberties that we have, patriots have died. Patriots have given their blood and their lives for the very things that are under attack right now. And so the least we can do is to help the alliance offending freedom do this. They do, they're not getting rich off of this, okay?

they're doing this because they believe it's right. They believe in it. And they are doing this pro bono. So when somebody comes to them and says, I am being fired, I'm being attacked, I'm being what do I do? They don't say, well, can you pay? They say, we will take this on because we actually believe in this. And the only reason they can do that is because you give to the alliance defending

freedom. So I know there are folks out there who can give a lot of money. I know there are people who can barely. give anything, but I'm asking you, folks, whatever you can give. Do your part. It's between you and the Lord. This is, this is not a contest. This is about an opportunity to stand up and to fight for what is right and true and good. And it is going away if we don't fight. And I think a lot of us have been inured to these evils over time. We kind of think, well, there's nothing I can do. That's the voice of the devil. There is plenty that you can do. But you, but you may.
