Welcome to the Eric Mataxis show. Ladies and gentlemen, we ask you now to count down from 10,
silently if you don't mind, and when you get to one, you'll hear one of the greatest voices on this or any of us.
Other Planet.
Three, two, one.
Eric Matt, Texas.
Welcome back, folks.
I think it's our two.
It feels like hour two.
And I'm talking to Larry Taunton.
Larry, let me say before we continue with your story, today, the 9th of April is the 80th
anniversary of the death of Dietrich Bonhofer.
My book came out on the 65th anniversary of the death of Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
Amazing to think that it's 15 years ago that I gave my maiden speech on Dietrich Bonhofer.
But it's fascinating to me how when we think about what he stood against,
that we are ourselves standing against similar things,
evil, evil actors who have no regard for life, wicked people, and the good guys stand against
this stuff, come what may, even if it means we give our lives, guess what?
We have a little secret.
We don't die.
When you kill us, we don't die.
And so, to me, today's a sacred day, 80th anniversary of the death, as I said, of Diedrich Bonhoeffer,
murdered by the Nazis. I should say also, Larry, before I continue the conversation with you,
and you can chime in if you want, but leftists who are pretty much pro-Hamas leftists did everything
they could to kill the Bonhofer film. When it came out in November, they just went crazy.
And you think, why would people on the left attack a film about a man who gave his life
for the Jews of Europe.
Why would leftists, because it was 99% leftists, attack a film that is showing the life of a hero
who lived his life and then gave his life to speak out for Jews?
I think what's behind it is that in leftist circles, it's no longer fashionable to speak.
speak up for the Jews, and so they can discard Bonhoeffer. I don't know how else to see it,
but I say, before I let you respond, I just want to remind people, the film is now on Amazon Prime,
on Apple TV, as I have said many times. It is a great film, and I hope everyone will see it,
only if you just want to stand with Israel, because it really is amazing to me that this hero
who spoke up for the Jews, who was killed by Jew haters, 80 years.
ago today, that his life is in a great film, truly a great film, and that the left tried to kill
it, and that I hope people will see it online. They will go to Amazon Prime, go to Apple TV,
but stand with Israel, stand with the Jews around the world today who are being persecuted. We can
talk about that. Anyway, Larry, just wanted to make sure that my audience knows what today is.
Yeah, well, Dietrich Bonhofer is certainly worth celebrating.
And your book 15 years ago really brought his name to the four once again.
And people could rally around him as a, both as a symbol and as a model for standing against tyranny,
for standing against anti-Semitism for standing for freedom.
And listen, in my case, I want to say this by way of,
of encouragement to those who are listening because I'm seeing a lot. This is really annoying me.
It's getting under my skin is sometimes it feels like people on our side are on some kind of,
you know, emotional roller coaster. You know, last year at this time, many ready to, you know,
commit suicide. And then after Trump's inauguration, they're euphoric. And now there, many of them
are down in the dumps again because things aren't happening.
as rapidly as they want to or they're easily discouraged by the rioting, you know, again,
paid protesters and burning at Tesla's and all that. Let me say this. As someone who has been,
there has been two attempts on my life Eric in the last six weeks. This fires me up. It doesn't,
it doesn't make me want to go underground. Not at all. This makes me say, yes, I am over the target.
I am pissing off the right people. You are, you are. You are. You are.
You have grossly misjudged me if you think that this is going to make me want to go silent.
It does not make me want to go silent.
It says to me, I'm going to double down, I'm going to say all the things that I've been saying more.
Because you people are cowardly, do you really want to terrorize me?
First of all, you're going to send me pizzas.
I want extra cheese, extra pepperoni, and pay for it before you send it.
But if you really want to be a terrorist, send me Brussels sprouts.
I hate Brussels sprout.
But I actually love people.
I just don't want to have to pay for it.
So, you know, you people are cowardly, come out and face me like a real man.
But you won't do that because that's not who you people are.
So for me, as somebody who, again, in Cairo, the Egyptian secret police attempted to take my life.
And then here, I get home.
I'm here for less than a month.
And then the swatting incident happens.
And then there's another effort at doing that sort of thing.
I get an email? And the FBI is looking into this, but I get an email from a guy who says,
are you enjoying the pizza? Same guy sends a, you know, an email to another person, another conservative,
and says, you're next, you know, to that individual. Look, I mean, you have misjudged who we are.
This is not a battle that we're waging. This is a war. And it's going to take.
a long time. Eric, the deep state is real. It is real. And by deep state, I don't mean some secret
cabal that's trying to control the world. We know who these people are. They're so arrogant they meet
annually in Davos and in Washington, D.C. We know who they are. They maybe are secretive about some of
the things they're trying to do to keep their fingerprints off of it. But these are evil people. And it's
going to take time to root out a deep state that is woven into the fabric of our government,
every aspects of bureaucracy, and every aspects of our society. But I'm fired up. Let's keep
going. Absolutely. And you know, I was I was just going to say that there's levels, right?
In other words, the people you're talking about who would send an email, how do you like your
pizza? Think how evil and how petty and pathetic these human beings are. It's pretty unfathomable
to real men with kids, and in your case, now a grandkid, I mean, to real men, to think that there are people out there so pathetic, sitting in a basement doing this, this is their life.
Lord help them, Lord help them to find the true purpose of their lives, because this is just a parody of human life, that there are people that would be dedicated to this kind of thing, working with evil.
So there's that. But then, of course, the deep state, I remember when I first heard the term in November of 2020, I thought, what, what? That is how quickly things have changed that now we know that it's real. We know they have exposed themselves, Larry. You know this, that they have, they were hiding in the shadows for decades, moving things along, you know, having people like George W. Bush pretend to be an American-loving conservative just enough. And then something.
woke us all up in 2016, 2020 for sure. And we realize now that there are some soldiers
like the people that are, you know, trying to swat you and doing this kind of stuff.
And then there's a vast bureaucracy of rhinos, of people who couldn't care less, just like the
Germans who couldn't care less. They weren't actually murdering Jews and Poles, but they were
looking the other way when they had an opportunity to say something or to do something.
So you have somebody, Senator John Cornyn in Texas.
You know, I remember meeting him in 2016.
Oh, he's a Republican senator.
We now know that these folks, they're the useful idiots.
They will do what they need to do to maintain power.
On some level, kind of like Mitch McConnell, they may stand up for the right thing and help
us get good judges in.
They may do some good things, but they are part of the problem.
yesterday, Ken Paxton announced he is a hero. He's someone I know that he is going to run for that
Senate seat in Texas. Very exciting. We're going to get him on this show to talk about it.
But I think most people realize just what you said. We're going to go to a break here again.
But we're in a war. And there is all kinds of stuff involved. But these folks have chosen the
wrong enemies. We're going to stand up. We are radicalized. We'll be right back.

Folks, welcome back talking today to Larry Taunton, and I keep saying today is the 80th anniversary of the death of Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
If you haven't seen this superb film about his life, it is available on Amazon Prime on Apple TV.
It is a great film.
Please support it because leftist lunatics did everything they could to crush it in theaters.
So, Larry, we're talking about a lot of stuff, but at the heart of everything we're talking about,
is what we now call the deep state. These are globalist actors who hate America, and they will work
with radical pro-Hamas Muslims. They will work with atheist, communist Chinese. They will work with
anyone. One thing we know is they're the enemies of God. They're the enemies of the God of Israel.
They're the enemies of the United States of America and liberty and freedom and we the people.
And for the first time, and I see it as God's grace, we know who they are.
We find out that they exist.
Their attacks become increasingly flailing and open and explicit.
And now we're in a war with them.
And by the grace of God, we have Donald Trump in the White House.
He has been radicalized.
what they did to his family. You can see it. He mentions it here and again has utterly radicalized him to say,
these are wicked people. Adam Schiff, for example, a deeply evil person who knowingly lied and took the
whole country down a path of the Russia collusion lie. It is something we've never experienced in our
lifetimes. And now we have somebody to be Donald Trump who has the guts, the backbone, to stand against
the evil. And at the top of the list, in many ways,
are the bullies in communist China who have been ripping off the West forever.
No one had the guts to stand up to them, to call them on their bluff.
Now, by the grace of God, we have a president willing to do that.
And to me, it's, you know, it's long overdue.
And it's a wonderful moment that he is saying, well, look, we're not afraid of you.
We'll make a good deal, but we're going to call you on your, you know, on your garbage.
We're going to be, we're not going to pretend.
we're not going to look the other way anymore for whatever reason.
I agree wholeheartedly with all of that.
And yet, Eric, can I change the subject slightly?
Anything you like.
I want to go back to where you started this segment, and that is Dietrich Bonhoffer
and the rise of anti-Semitism that is connected to everything where you just said is can all these things are connected.
Ukraine and Pamas and Israel and, you know, these are, all these things are connected to
deep state. I don't know if you saw this, but I kind of got into a little bit of a,
a Twitter, an ex-spat over the fact that Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson both platform,
a pseudo-historian, a man by the name of Daryl Cooper.
Darrell Cooper is he's not trained as a historian, but he's a storyteller, and he has millions of, you know, of followers at listening to his accounts of World War II.
And here's, here's one of the things that Cooper has said.
He has said, and I quote, Churchill is the chief villain of World War II.
And then he's gone on to suggest he's not an out and out Holocaust denier.
what he is is a Holocaust revisionist.
And this comes back to what we were talking about with Tucker Carlson.
So I decided I'm going after this guy because it's quite dangerous.
So the Steve Day's show reached out to me and said, would you debate Daryl Cooper on our show?
And I said, yeah, with relish, I'd be happy to.
And Cooper, Darryl Cooper, you know, turned that down.
He refused to debate me on that topic.
But why I think that's important, Eric, and coming back again to Bonhoeffer, is because
why in the world is there suddenly, you know, say people like Cooper and with Andrew Tate
and with sadly Candace Owens and a few others, this sudden fascination with the Holocaust.
I mean, well, because they're trying to undermine the moral authority of Israel to defend itself
against Hamas, against terrorists.
That's what they're doing.
That's the direction they're going.
And it's wicked.
It's evil.
And listen, you can, you can, I mean, the Holocaust happened.
I've been to the camps.
You've been to the camps.
I've interviewed loads of Holocaust survivors.
I'm sure you have too.
And let me say this.
You can accept the historicity of the Holocaust and still question modern.
the modern policies of the state of Israel. In other words, Holocaust denial is not necessitated
by you questioning Israeli policy. But you're an idiot if you do not think that the Holocaust
actually happened. And these are things that need to be taught to our children. It's not the only
genocide. It is certainly one of them. But we have to teach these things to our children because
it's not just about anti-Semitism,
it's about the evil of humanity,
of what we are capable of doing,
and why we need the restraint
of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ in our lives,
lest we repeat these things.
Well, it's extraordinary.
I have to say that I've been really mystified
by, you know, folks like Tucker
having on somebody like Daryl Cooper,
because I guess, you know,
I always want to know, what's the point exactly?
Like, do you have questions about the Holocaust?
Okay, great. Maybe it wasn't six million. Maybe it was 5.2. Do we care? What is the difference? You're talking about murdering millions of innocence. So what if it's just one million? Does it matter? Should we not call it the Holocaust? It's so amazing to me. You know, it's kind of like people say, well, I've got some questions about that video. Therefore, we never landed on the moon. I've got some questions about I saw some stuff on the internet. So I'm
I'm pretty sure the earth is flat and people are trying to hide the truth from us.
I mean, listen, folks, truth and history is complicated, but you have to make judgment calls.
Yeah, the Holocaust happened.
It was evil.
The idea that you would say yes, but, you know, there were good people on both sides or there were, it really is missing the point.
And so I really don't understand, and I haven't looked into it the way you have, but why Candace Owens in
particular would give voice to some of these folks. It's really baffling to me. I really cannot
fathom what. I mean, some people would simply say, hey, she's a grifter. She wants clicks.
It's that simple. Maybe that's part of it. But I think enough of her to really honestly wonder
what is going on. Well, you shouldn't think too much of her. There was a time where I thought she was
very clever and well she is very clever and where I thought that that that she was worth listening
to. She is a full-blown anti-semi now. I don't know if she was always that and she just come out
as that or she's been nudged in that direction, but that that is what she is. She's full of hate
and she's spewing this nonsense. Part of what's going on here, I think with Tucker, which is, I think,
different than than Panda So-on. She she has an anti-simmismismismismic.
agenda, I mean, period. Tucker, however, I think what has happened to him is that he's not had a firm
philosophical moral foundation in the sense that, you know, he's not not been a Christian. And so he's,
he's not had a firm worldview. And the discovery that our government was lying to us, it's like
gets unhinged Tucker's entire worldview so that now you have people like him and Jason Whitlock,
who's another one who's going in this direction, are saying, and I quote, question everything.
You should question the moon landing. You should question America's stuff. We've been lied to about
everything. And I said to Whitlock, yeah. Was Lincoln a real historical character or was he
just made up by the Jews? I mean, let's question everything. So honestly, it does become
flat out crazy. And by the way, you mentioned Jason Whitlock. You know, these are not bad people.
Jason Whitlock's a good guy, but he is pretty ignorant of stuff. I was on his podcast some months ago,
and he said some stuff. And I was like, pick me up off the floor. He, he doesn't, there's stuff that he just
doesn't know. And if you're talking about stuff that you don't know, you're going to get in big trouble.
And so, you know, it's, he's got a big platform. But when people say question everything,
I've written about this.
You know, there were bumper stickers, like in the 70s, question authority.
Yes, you're supposed to question authority to determine whether it is legitimate.
And then if you've determined it's legitimate, you don't question it, you obey it.
But people who say question authority, they have this nealistic corrosive drip.
They don't believe in such a thing as truth.
They don't believe in such a thing as any kind of legitimate authority.
They are of their father, the devil.
is their God.
And so they want a rebellion,
rebel against all that is good and true and beautiful.
And they cloak it,
they mask it behind the term question authority.
Ask questions.
Yes, you're supposed to ask questions.
But as Chesterkin said,
you know,
you're supposed to have an open mind
only so that at some point
you can close it on to something firmly.
We'll be right back talking to Larry Taunton.
Folks talking to Larry Taunton.
Larry, I know you just have a few minutes left.
We're talking about a lot of things.
It's good to see you.
It's good to know that you're alive and fighting and on the right team.
But we're living through crazy times, Larry.
The Lord has called us to live during these times.
It's exciting.
Yeah, well, you know, it is because, you know,
I just want to encourage people or listening to us.
Listen, you don't have to have a big platform.
You don't have a big, you know, radio show.
or a podcast or on social media or be pastor of a church or CEO of the company.
But wherever you are, the Lord has put you there and is giving you opportunity to take a stand for the truth.
And by truth, I mean, I mean it in the sense of John 146.
I am the way, the truth, and the life.
And you're taking a stand for the truth.
Show courage.
We need people on our side of the argument to show.
Joe courage. Do not be afraid. What is it Joshua 1 says? Joshua 1-9 says, be strong and courageous.
It was interesting because Trump, I don't know if it was wittingly or unwittingly, but he tweeted that,
be strong and courageous. And we need people to do that and who are not easily deterred because
somebody is outburning Teslas or, you know, rioting or, you know, dressing with a pink mohawk and stealing things,
off the shelves of, you know, of right age. We have to be willing to stay the course. And the reason
things are as bad as they are right now, Eric, is because for too long, people were not showing
courage or we're not pushing back. And the result was the left advanced and has embedded itself
into every aspect of society. It is time to root them out and to restore order in this country
from everything from from economically to spiritually.
And I'm on board with that agenda.
I know you're on board with that agenda.
Swapping me is not going to make me stop doing that.
Threatening me, for me, that just invigorates me.
It just tells me, yes, you just tried to kill me.
That means I'm going the right direction.
It's funny you say this.
I think you know I'm writing a book about the American Revolution.
And this was a big factor during the revolution.
the British who, it's fascinating to me, the English were in many ways really wicked.
I'll write about that in my book.
But it's incredible to see how the Americans, if you didn't know who was on the right side,
you look at how they behave.
And there was an incredible nobility to Washington and to almost everybody in the Patriot
cause, in the way they treated their enemies, in all kinds of things.
and it was just the opposite on the English side.
It really was a debauched, broken society of corrupt elites.
And you see that from General Howe leading everybody down the line.
And one of the things that you saw was how they treated civilians.
And it had the same effect as what you're describing.
Throughout New Jersey, the Hessians and the English troops, the regulars,
would raid farms and treat the inhabitants, the civilians, so poorly that they drove them into the arms of
liberty. And you see the same thing happening right now. Because of the way the left is behaving,
I mean, do you know how many Tesla owners who didn't vote for Donald Trump had been pushed
toward Donald Trump because of the loose?
What's that?
Tesla owners are typically lefties.
anyway, you know, which is, which is itself, you know, kind of funny, but I have to go because I have
another engagement to run to, but I just want to say this, Eric, just, your brother, just keep,
just keep keeping on, and we just keep plugging away. And, you know, we don't have to have
home runs. Base hits will do. And we just keep moving forward. That's right. Larry Taunton,
my friend, thank you so much. We'll talk to you again soon. Listen, take care. Guys, thanks for
having me. Anytime.
Folks, as I continue,
we've just got a few minutes left.
I want to remind you of a few things.
First of all,
once again,
today is the 80th anniversary. It's a sacred day.
And I want to be real clear to say,
it's the 80th anniversary of the death of Dietrich Bonhofer.
I visited Flaassenberg concentration camp,
but was not a death camp,
but it was a concentration camp.
And it's a chilling thing to
think here he died. Here he was murdered by the enemies of truth. Here he died because he knew
that when you kill him, he doesn't die. He was a man of extraordinary faith. And so we remember him
today and always because we need to be inspired by heroes. And to me, he is just one of the great
heroes of history.
I many people know that I wrote a book about him.
My book's been attacked.
Nobody can plausibly explain to me what I got wrong in the book.
They just don't like the fact that I write this book.
It sells a million copies.
It's translated into 20 languages.
And then, oh, the author came out for Trump.
Doesn't he know that Trump is Hitler 2.0?
No, I don't.
So I just find it, I find it funny that people are so unhinged.
and hate Donald Trump so much that they're trashing me and my book and the most recent lunacy
of trashing this great film about Dietrich Bonhofer.
Folks, I'm asking you, see it tonight, see it tomorrow, see it this weekend.
I know it's on Amazon Prime.
I know it's on Apple TV.
I think it's in other places.
I'll say it again and again.
It is a great film.
Please support it.
because we need to support great things.
But on this week of all weeks, Bonhofer, the film,
check it out.
We'll be right back.
And as each moment has unfurled,
I've been waiting to awaken from these dreams.
Folks, welcome back.
You know, one of the friends of this program is Americans for prosperity.
They have a number of initiatives,
the head of one of those things, the Libre Initiative, is with us today.
His name is Daniel Garza.
Welcome, Daniel, to this program.
What a pleasure. Eric, thank you so much for the invitation and the opportunity to be on with you.
Yeah, I'm excited to talk to you about what you're working on.
Where do we start?
I mean, tell my audience exactly what is the Libre Initiative, of which you're the president.
Yeah, well, very simply, the Libre Initiative is holding conversation.
across the country, honest conversations with the Latino community, what are those policies
and who are those politicians who are generating prosperity? And what are those policies
and politicians who are driving us towards dependency, towards poverty? And just, you know,
let's have that conversation. And then so it turns out most of the time, the folks on the
center right happen to be right. Now, it's interesting to me because I think,
think that, you know, we're, I don't think I know we're living through a political earthquake in
America where a lot of people who have traditionally tacked left or who have traditionally
voted Democrat just because that's kind of their tribal identification. I think of my in-laws.
They were like FDR Democrats. We always vote Democrat. That has been changing. And obviously,
in the 2024 election, President Trump made dramatic inroads into the Latino community, in the
black community.
What do you think it is that is making those who traditionally would go left in an unthinking
way suddenly say, I may have been wrong, I need to rethink this?
What do you think brought that about?
Well, on the one hand, you have the left that have lost their senses, who have now been following or singing to the tune of the radical left with their woke agenda, their anti-growth agenda, anti-energy agenda.
And that, of course, is a big deal for Texans, especially Latinos in energy states, by the way, that matters.
it's it's it's that they're turning uh the traditional roles of men and women uh topsy
turvey um there there seems to they seem to have lost their moral compass and uh and and
this antagonism against the free market system that that's why latinos came to america you know
because of the american dream that the america's founding charters made it possible to have freedom
and that freedom drove prosperity.
And if we were willing to work hard and take risks in the free market,
that we could make it in America,
and that's exactly what happened.
More people realize their aspirations and their dreams in America
than anywhere else in the world because of our freedoms,
because of the free market system.
But that's what they attack.
And so I think they've rejected what has been offered,
what the left has been trying to sell lately,
and are looking to the center right and saying, okay, pro-energy makes sense to me.
Less taxes, so I can keep more of their money, makes sense to me.
A pro-growth agenda where businesses thrive and succeed makes sense to me.
The traditional family and what it does as a keystone to society, I want to honor that.
I want to keep that.
And so I think on the one hand, radical policies have distanced them from the Democrat Party
and common sense policies have driven them to the Republican Party.
Well, what I keep saying is the left has increasingly become radical.
In other words, they may be even when they've been radical in the past, they've been able to hide it.
But something has happened.
I think the advent of Trump principally has pushed them to come out of the closet for things that once you hear it, you go, wait a minute, that doesn't sound right.
And so I think that's part of it.
And I think that goes, what goes along with it, is that simply over time, you're able
finally to see the fruit of those policies.
In other words, there's one thing to say, oh, it's going to get better, it's going to get better.
At some point, people say, wait a minute, it's been decades, it's not getting better,
it's getting worse.
So, in a way, because things got so bad, particularly I think under Joe Biden, a lot of people
were simply open to looking elsewhere.
I mean, that's my theory.
100%. I mean, they saw what happened at the border. Look, people are not anti-immigrant. They are anti-caus and lawlessness. And that's exactly what was happening. We want immigrants to come in and to strengthen America and to bring their industry and their energy and their innovative capacities. But when it's done where we're not properly vetting who is coming in, we are not keeping out those who want to do us harm.
People are going to react to that.
And Latinos, just like their fellow Americans, are going to react adversely to that.
When you're soft on crime, when the victim no longer gets justice, that's a problem.
When government has grown so big, so large, that it is now usurping the role of the church, the family, it's usurping the role of the marketplace.
People are going to react to that, viscerally.
This is a free country with free people.
And we're starting to see way too much of our freedoms.
Freedom of speech is under attack.
And so you're seeing Latinos react to this viscerally, and that's why I think they're shifting their allegiances.
If people go to the website I have in front of me here, what will they find?
It's protectprosperity.com.
Is that a Libre Initiative website or just Americans for Prosperity?
What is at that website, protectprosperity.com?
It's a collaboration between Libre and Americans for Prosperity.
and we're talking to Americans across the country,
that it is going to be critical.
It's important that we make permanent,
those tax cuts that President Trump put the instituted
in his first term.
80% of Latino voters say their taxes are already too high.
Four and five Latino voters are saying
it is a bad time to increase taxes.
We cannot go backward.
I mean, this is a time in our country
that's an inflection point.
We're either going to embrace,
productivity? Or are we going to go backward and becoming backward country, you know, where, again,
we centralize more power, more money, more control in the hands of politicians in Washington, D.C., who more
are controlling our behavior. We need to reject that, and we need to push back on that. And so I think,
you know, making the tax cuts permanent is a keystone to that.
There's no doubt about it. And it's why I'm a fan of Americans for Prosperienced.
and what I'm glad to hear about the Libre Initiative, Daniel Garza.
Thanks for being my guest, folks.
If you want to know more, go to protectprosperity.com.
That's protectprosperity.com.
Daniel Garza, thank you.
Thank you. Eric, appreciate it.
Hey, folks, before we go, want to get you excited again about the 80th anniversary of the death
of Dietrich Bonhover.
This is a big deal.
He is a great Christian hero.
If you have not yet seen the great film about his life,
that was that the left, the loony left, tried very, very, very hard to suppress.
Go see the movie.
You can see it at Amazon Prime and Apple TV.
If you want a great faith film, you're crazy not to check it out.
It is a great film.
I saw it many times.
On YouTube and Google Play.
Is that true?
Yep.
Yeah, yeah.
On YouTube, and you can pay for it on YouTube?
Yeah, it's the same price.
It's just some, you know, if you're...
I didn't know that.
Yeah.
Thank you.
You got it.
Yeah, so you have no excuse, folks.
But it's so great.
I mean, it's like I'm trying to sell something that's great.
It's great, folks.
You're not doing anybody a favor, but yourself.
It's just such a great movie.
When does somebody spend $30 million to make a truly great film with top-notch actors and,
I mean,
the film editor and the cinematographer and the director and the screener, these are top, top people.
These are like the best people in Hollywood, and they made a film about Bonhoeffer, and it's a great film.
It is a great film.
I don't know what to say, except you got to see it.
So you can find it.
We just said that it's available to rent or to buy, but it's just a great film.
And since it's the 80th anniversary of the death of Bonhoeffer, it's a wonderful time.
I did a course for Peterson Academy on Bonhofer.
I did eight hours of teaching, eight full hours lecturing on Bonhofer for Peterson Academy.
If you are part of Peterson Academy, obviously you can check it out.
But we need Bonhofer's faith.
We need to be inspired by his faith.
and it is why I don't stop talking about it.
Obviously, you can get my book.
I always say to people in every case, get the hardcover, don't get the paperbacks.
They just take my word for it.
It ain't worth it unless you're reading it at the beach.
You want to throw it out when you're done.
But it is the Bonhofer book.
All my books are available at Socrates in the city.com.
You can get autograph copies at Socrates in the city.com.
If you want a special gift,

A lot of my books are available there.
The birthday ABC, just one of the greatest things I've ever done.
It's the illustrations by Tim Raglan are like mouth-wateringly beautiful.
They are so beautiful.
It's just a great gift for anybody, not just for kids, but the birthday ABC, the Donald books,
all of them are available at my store.com.

The same thing with Mypillow.com.
They've got some insane sales there right now.
I think I've talked to you about this, that Mike has been so hit so hard by the box stores
and others canceling him that he wants to pass the savings directly to you.
So he's giving you the prices that the box.
stores would get it at. That's like, you know, practically wholesale. It is actually, right? So my store.com,
my pillow.com, use the code, Eric. And if you're wondering, what are these Donald, the caveman books of
which you speak, Eric? What are they? Well, I happen to have them here, but I'm looking at them.
Donald builds the wall. Tim Ragland's illustrations are always the star of the show. Forget about my
writing. There's a, there are these swamp creatures. One of them looks, oh, I don't know, it looks like Chuck
Schumer, one of them looks like Mitch McConnell, one of them looks like Hillary, one of them looks
like John Brennan, but that's probably all coincidental. They're very funny books. Donald drains
the swamp, Donald builds the wall, Donald and the fake news. Kids love them, but weirdly enough
adults love them even more. MyStore.com use the code Eric. Right on.
