So let's start here. In hour one today, this is hour one, we are talking to, my goodness, a very big deal actor. Now, if you're in England, you can't even believe that we got him. If you're in America, you might say, I don't know who he is or maybe I know who he is. I'm going to be talking in a minute to Lawrence Fox. First of all, he's part of the Fox dynasty. If you're in England, are you familiar with the BBC?

The Fox Dynasty, beginning with Lawrence's father and then his generation, and then the next generation. If you're watching the BBC, half of the shows or half of the miniseries seem to have one of the foxes in it. Lawrence Fox is famous for Inspector Lewis, and Albin, you and the lovely Anne are familiar with Inspector Lewis. We love that series. Lawrence Fox is so terrific. And of course, you're going to mention the Frankenstein Chronicles, which again is another great series. That's how I came to know him. It was like at the beginning of COVID.

I started watching streaming TV, which I never really had before. And the Frankenstein Chronicles was very, very well done. on the BBC and just brought up kind of issues of, you know, men playing God. And it was really actually fascinating. But he played this creepy character. So in a few minutes, we're talking to the big shot, Lawrence Fox. Now, there's two more pieces to Lawrence Fox. Number one, I don't think he is where we are on faith or anything.

But he has been unbelievably brave in speaking against the cancel. culture and the woke lunacy in England. And he has been so brave that he was himself canceled. He decided to run for the mayor to become the mayor of London. He didn't win, but we had him on the program when he was running. He's a hero in our time. And I'm very happy to say that our friends, Anne and Phelam, Phelam Macalier, and Anne McElhenny, who are our Irish friends who are making all kinds of amazing media projects. They filmed a feature film.

We're going to hear about it. We're going to talk to the star. They filmed a feature film Lawrence Fox starring as Hunter Biden. The film is called My Son Hunter. And it tells the true story, the insane story, that. is also true about Hunter Biden and the corruption. It's hard to talk about for me. The corruption in this White House, the corruption in our government, in the Republican

and Democrat parties, both. But the Democrats, I have to say, they have the lead easily in terms of deep corruption. It is vile. It stands against everything. the founders pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to guarantee for us. So in a few minutes, we have Lawrence Fox. We are living in crazy times, but as I always say, it's an opportunity for us. It's, or I'm sorry, what I normally say is that it's a wake up call that because of the craziness,

I mean, for this program to get knocked off of YouTube, I thought, What? You know, there are these moments when you think, what is happening? This program was wiped off of YouTube. And that's, for me, that was one of the moments. Another moment relates to Hunter Biden when in October of 2020, the media spiked the Biden laptop story. And I said, what? There's no way a journalist could look away from this. Even if there was 10% truth, it's like one of the most fascinating one of the most fascinating and deeply important issues of any time in American history. Not only did they spike the story, but they then lied. And people signed papers saying this is Russian disinformation.

In other words, we're living in a different America. And so these are all wake up calls for us to say, I have to do something. I wrote in my book, if you can keep it, that it is we the people who have to keep the Republic. We have to do something. And we've been fooled over the years into thinking, well, I don't need to do anything. You know, George Bush said to defeat terrorism, just go shopping. You know, it's kind of like this idea that we've got a professional army. Don't worry about it.

It's not on you. That's all wrong. Every one of us has to do part of the lifting. Every single one of us has to do something. And people say, what can I do? What can I do? And I tell you, there's many things. you can do. You can share this program on social media. If you follow me on any other social media,

you can retweet my tweets. You can repost what I put on Facebook, on parlor, on Twitter, on Gab, on truth social. We need your help, folks. We really need your help. And this is one thing you can do. you can't debunk it because it's true. But they have to say that. They have to silence people. So I'm asking you to do anything you can. Hi, Eric. You made a mistake there, my friend. The BBC never hired me in 22 years of acting. Now, you know when I say the BBC, because I'm an American, I'm being sloppy. I'm conflating the BBC with media in England, in Britain, in general. So forgive me. I'm just pulling your leg. It's for fun.

But you, I was saying in the introduction, which you didn't hear, that it almost became, funny to me. I guess two or three years ago, I got an email from your father saying he'd read my books and he was a British actor. And I looked him up and I thought, Jiminy Christmas, I've seen him in a thousand films and I'm honored to hear from him. And he tells me he has this actor's son. And from that point on, every time my wife and I watch something that comes from England, it seems that there's someone in the Fox family in the film. It's almost hilarious to me once I began noticing this. You were in the Frankenstein Chronicles.

Do you remember the name of the character that you played? Oh, I don't. I have a major habit of the actors have of wiping scripts. Listen, I have no problem with that because I'm that way with my books. People ask me about what you remember in your book you said this. It's like, you actually, no, I don't remember because I've moved on. on with my life. But the fact is that you played a very creepy character, a decidedly creepy character in the Frankenstein Chronicles. It was wonderful. And so it's no wonder to me that my

friends, Anne and Phelam, my Irish friends who now live in Los Angeles, chose you to play the creepiest character of them all. Can you tell my audience a little bit about this? Yes. Yeah, he is a creepy character, isn't he? I was very blessed to finally receive a script on my desk after having a couple of years of no scripts on my desk, thanks to the wonderful council culture that we live in at the moment. And it was a brilliant script called My Son Hunter about our favorite philandering crackhead, Hunter Biden. When you say philandering, you mean this in the best sense. No, I mean it in the worst sense. In the worst sentence.

That's what I meant in the worst sense. It's kind of, it's amazing because that's the least horrifying. I mean, philandering actually sounds, you know, there's a kind of philandering. And then there is Hunter Biden, which it's levels of grotesquery that the only reason everyone doesn't know about it is because of cancel culture, which is why I'm so proud of you and Anne and Phelham for bringing the facts. These are not burnished along political lines. These are the actual raw facts presented in a feature film called My Son Hunter. Absolutely. And let me just swap the word floundering for nihilistic scumbag.

In the best sense of those words, yes. In the best sense of those words, you know, judge the action is not the person. But he, yeah, it was great to be able to understand. in front of a camera and act again. And also one of the great bonuses of it was to be able to stand in front of a camera and act again and try and find the humanity in somebody who is obviously deeply, deeply messed up in every way that you can be. And but I tried to go when I, when I did the film, I tried to go, there's got to be a

human being in there somewhere and I sort of spent that period of time filming, looking for that human being. And I think I found a guy who wanted to impress his dad and, you know, and felt like he was subhuman in comparison to his brother and he'd let everybody down and his way of controlling his demons was to try and make the family rich and then his dad proud of him. You see, it's very beautiful that you've framed it that way just now because, you know, speaking myself as a Christian, these things are complicated. We don't want to demonize people, but when someone is a public figure, In other words, the issue here, I remember when this first began to come out about Hunter Biden, my heart went out to him.

I thought to myself, my goodness, this is heartbreaking because I have met Joe Biden, and I'm aware of the fact that when you have a career politician in the worst sense of that in America, it's antithetical to the whole American enterprise that we're supposed to have servant leaders representing the people for a season, like the famous Cincinnati at his plow. You go and you serve and then you go back to your life. Joe Biden is the antithesis of that, like the Clintons, a career politician who has learned to work the levers of power for his own aggrandizement. I'm only using these words because you're English. And I think in my mind, you see the collateral damage that when you have a figure like this, the family, to say dysfunctional would be able to put it very mildly. and that you have this deeply wounded human being hunter being caught up in this and becoming, I don't know how you put it, a stooge on some level for this almost like a crime family. And so it has a lot of humanity in it.

Any of us who is a parent knows that that relationship, it's a sacred relationship. And what we see happening, the corruption that Joe Biden uses his son. son, the son allows himself to be used. But it's fascinating that you saw that and that you wanted to bring his humanity into it, because he's not president in case anybody's checking. It is his father who claims to be president. I'm not so sure of it. Yeah, it's, I don't think there's a point in an actor judging a character.

I think it creates boring drama. I think we're witnessing that in a lot of what, a lot of drama that's being created at the moment. it's more moral lecture than storytelling. And the point of storytelling is it's to teach us things about ourselves, certainly the weaknesses in ourselves and the strength in ourselves. It's to inspire us and frighten us at the same time. You know, that's what stories are there to do. They're there to inspire.

And what was good about this film was it managed to get in a lot of exposition. And as you say, Joe Biden is, you know, the man is the plagiarist, the liar, and a terrible example. and a perfect example of why we ask our public servants probably to serve shorter periods than he has, you know, in office. And it was so nice to be able to deal with exposition, with truth, with what he did, and how actively the Biden family have put America's own security globally at stake,

whilst at the same time trying to tell what you quite accurately describe as a gangster. story. I mean, my jaw wouldn't have hit the floor if it wasn't true. And I mean, I would have laughed if it wasn't true. That's the problem. So I think Robert Darby, the director, did so well in saying that let's, let's not make this a partisan movie. Let's not do the right-wing equivalent of wokeery where we just cancel and demean and diminish everybody else. Let's let's tell a story. And I think he's done fantastically well with that. And I was very impressed with his approach. It's, well, I'm so impressed with Anne and Phelham taking these things on because clearly Hollywood, I mean, again, and this is when you see all you need to see that if they were only working in their own best interests, trying to make films that would make money, they would make this film, Hollywood would make the film, but they're ideologically so hidebound that they don't dare make a film that might, trigger their colleagues. They care more about the adulation of the groups that they're in than making

I have to ask you, Lawrence, because you've been in the public eye more than most of your family in the last couple of years. You ran for the mayoralty of London. you're part of the Reclaim Party. You've been just a loud, wonderful voice in Great Britain during this season. But you and your family are known principally as an acting dynasty. Tell my audience, if you would, just a little bit about the dynasty. I don't know, maybe you pronounce it, dynasty. However you pronounce it, would you?

I quite like dynasty. I think it sounds better. It reminds you of that great American TV show. Yeah, our family have been involved in show. business for a long time and I was very involved in show business for 22 years and then I just could not take it anymore in terms of the identitarian approach the the Marxism that was coming into drama the lack of creativity the identity politics I just found it it drove me mad so I was invited on a political TV show because I was promoting a song which I'd written about the problem which I

released and on an album and I said what I thought, which was you can't criticise someone based upon an immutable characteristic. For example, in that opportunity, I was referred to as a straight white male or a privileged white male, I think I was referred to as. And I said, I didn't tolerate racism and I thought that racism was wrong. And for that, it cost me my acting career. So the rest of the foxes are acting on. But now I'm taking on the, you know, very insidious culture, woke culture, which is seeking to rip down everything that I really hold dear, which is meritocratic beauty. I hold beauty in such great regard, you know, just generally. I'm awed by how beautiful the world is. And I can't bear watching human beings tell me how

disgusting and ugly it all is and how vile people are. I just, I just have no time for it. Well, it's interesting because what we're talking about, of course, is reality. And I think that I I realize at the end of the day, all of the grievous things that we're seeing now, it's a war against God. I think Peter Hitchens wrote a book, The Rage Against God. Ultimately, what all of these things are is a war with reality, a war on beauty to say that beauty is ugly or that ugly is beautiful, to say that fat is good. these preposterous things that have been unleashed on us recently. It's a war against reality itself. It's an attempt to deconstruct reality itself.

It's nealistic. It's, I would say, demonic. It's funny, I had the privilege a couple of months ago of interviewing John Cleese, of all people, who is an atheist, Trump hater. And yet, like many of the old school comedians, he's outraged by the cancel culture. as we are. And we were talking about it, about the roots of it, in French critical theory. And it's funny to have John Cleese, you know, point to the French, because it reminds me of a python skit. But the point is that anyone with eyes to see understands there is something

fundamentally wrong with this view. And I think, you know, you and I realize most people see that. It's only the elites in Hollywood, particularly in the media, that either refuse to see it or at least refuse to talk about it because their jobs are more important or whatever it is. They've sold their souls for a mess of pottage. And so I'm so excited about this film, My Son, Hunter, in which you star as the eponymous Hunter Biden. and why was it called my son Hunter? That's a very interesting, why is it from the perspective of Joe Biden? It's a good question. I think it was because, you know, of that line of saying, you're the smartest man I know.

Can I just quickly loop back on what you said in terms of Derrida and Foucault and French postmodernists and stuff like that? You know, the Hollywood elite are Foucault. I've hung around with these people. I've spent time with them. The majority of the vocal Hollywood elite are that sort of character. So this postmodern thing and this horrible critical theory thing

and this critical Marxist thing is part of what Hollywood is. Anyway, sorry, back to My Son Hunter. I think it's called My Son Hunter because I think the film tries to protect him and put the blame on Joe and the family and say that, you know,

there's a sort of paternal element to it of going, my son Hunter did this. You know, it's an interesting play in words. I haven't really thought about it. But I think it's to make it, it's to humanise him somewhat. Because, you know, the right have a problem that the left have, which is that we're catching on to council culture now. And we need to think carefully before we start playing their games with them.

So, you know, I think the best thing that we can do with Hunter Biden is to hold his actions and the actions of his family to drag them out the sunlight and hold them under very, very close scrutiny. And then with sober judiciousness, you know, pass the associate human world justice on these people rather than seek to demonize and destroy them. Because I bet this is just the tip of the iceberg about what that family have done in the last many, many decades in American politics. Well, that's very well put. And I do think that I agree with you that we on the political right, we don't want to fall into the trap of demonizing people.

And oftentimes people on the right do that. It's a little complicated because public figures are public figures. Nonetheless, the humanity, the idea that God loves everyone and wants to reach that person. That's different from approving what they do. But we'll talk about that. Like this was settled in the 70s that we're going to have. So talk about the issue and talk about what ADF is doing. Yes, well, you're exactly right. It's just insane what's happening to young women across the country. As you know, these gender identity policies have been seeping into school districts,

into athletic associations, and they're changing their policies. to allow males to come in and dominate women's sports. And that's having a devastating impact on female athletes across the country. But now the Biden administration is weaponizing the federal government to really nationalize this gender identity ideology. From his first day in office, President Biden promised that he was going to stand with activists instead of female athletes. And he directed his federal agencies to rewrite federal law in order to allow males to come in

and dominate women's sports. And in June, on the 50th anniversary of Title IX, the Department of Education released their proposed regulations that would do just that. Rewrite biological sex to include gender identity, which if it moves forward and is put into law will have a devastating impact on women's sports. I know that it almost doesn't bear underscoring, but I can't resist. Ladies and gentlemen, men cannot become women in case. In case you didn't get the memo, big dudes who are muscular who decide to become women actually cannot. They can only gaslight everybody and game the system and compete as women if they are let to do that. And gutless adults are allowing them to do this, which most people know is madness.

It's insane. But it becomes dramatically insane when you have the Biden administration actually getting behind this madness. And it's, I mean, Christiana, let's face it, practically speaking, this is the end of women's sports. This lunacy ends women's sports. There's no longer women's sports. If you do not have clear definitions between men and women when it comes to sports competition, goodbye sports competition. I mean, that's clear.

It's clear to you. It's clear to me. It's clear to most Americans. But the Biden administration is requiring the Alliance defending freedom to get involved because they're willing to go with the woke madness.

No, you're exactly right. And it's not a stretch to say that this nationalizing this policy as the Biden administration is attempting to do would absolutely spell the beginning of the end of women's sports. The whole reason we have women's sports as a separate category is because of those real physical differences.

Males have anywhere from a 10 to 50% performance advantage over a comparably fit and trained female athletes. So that's why Alliance Defending Freedom is representing brave female athletes across the country from Connecticut to Idaho to West Virginia to Florida, pushing back on these woke ideological policies that would devastate women's sports. We've also pushed back against the Biden administration and we filed many, many pages of federal comment saying, look, this new proposed regulation would completely undo the future of female athletes. And if the Biden administration is intent on moving forward with these unlawful changes,

then we stand ready to challenge them. It's mind-blowing to me. I keep telling the folks in my audience, you need to give to the Alliance Offending Freedom folks.
