And here we are. What's life going to be like in 2023? Chris, I want to announce to the audience. You know, people say, tell people what you're going to do and then do it. Well, here's what we're going to do. In hour one, I'm going to interview Mark Stansel, who heads up an animation company and they're creating graphic novels. It's called Terminus. It is faith-based.

It is Christian. He was in part, well, I'll save it for the interview, but he said that he was inspired to do the next graphic novel. by two guests on this program. It is, it's crazy. When I heard it, I couldn't believe it. So in a couple of minutes, I'm talking to Mark Stansell with Terminus. In hour two, we're going to encore something we did last week with Chris Reed. Now, folks, if you don't know who Chris Reed is, I promise you, I met him last summer in Kansas City.

and he has a prophetic gift unlike anything I have ever seen in my life. It is mind bending. I experienced it in person. I was there with my wife and with our friend Keith Junta, who's been on this program. And Chris Reed is the real deal. And so God speaks to him prophetically. And we just interviewed him last week, but I kind of thought, I want to rear it because he's just very special. He has a new book out.

So that's today, Mark Stanselauer, too, Chris Reed, mind-blowing stuff. You'll, oh, you'll see. But from here, today's a little complicated. From here, I have to go, I'm in my home studio. I have to go to another studio where I am going to be interviewed by Jordan Peterson. Who's that? Who's that guy? Right.

Who's Jordan Peterson? I don't know. He's a very big deal. But the point is. he has a podcast and people who know him will be very, very impressed. And I, it's been a long time. My schedule never worked out that we could do it. And so finally today.

So from here, I'm going to a studio where Jordan Peterson, who I guess he's in Toronto, but I'm going to a studio and I'm going to be on his podcast. I don't know when they're going to air it. But he's just a very big deal. I got to know him last summer, and that's what I'm doing, like, in the next several hours, because it's kind of a long-form interview. After that, Chris, I'm going to meet you at the TBN studio. Right.

And we are going to record today. We're obviously not going to air it today, but we're going to record an interview with Jim Cavizal. Ladies and gentlemen, introducing Jesus from the Passion. Yeah. Jim Caviesel. Jim Caviesel is a very, very special person. A very profound Christian. And I'm looking forward to interviewing him very, very much today.

I believe, or undercover agent and Eduardo at NRB, the other producer of the film. Yes. And the film is based on Tim Ballard's life experiences, rescuing children who are being sex trafficked. It's insane. It's so dark, but praise God, people are doing something about it. Anyway, Kavisel is going to be my guest. So we'll air that next week at the TBN studio today.

I also am interviewing Billy Graham's daughter, Ruth. I've gotten to know her over the years. She'll be in the studio. I think she'll be in the studio. Are she making this up? She'll be in the studio with us. Yeah, she has a new book out. She's actually coming to do Good Morning America as well.

so she'll be in New York for that. Oh, well. Good morning, America. And then I'm going to interview Jared LaMaster of the Babylon B. he's the guy that plays the devil in the videos that the Babylon B has done. He's very talented. And he has, he appears in the film Notorious. I'm sorry.

But, you know, you're going to have a... You like to run, you say?

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So you like to run, though. You like to jog. So we're going to jog through there probably. Maybe not. Maybe not.

I don't know. I don't know if that's a good jogging area. Well, we'll see. We'll see what happens. But in any event, we have a, we have a, we have a stunt double for the film. Yeah. You may be doing some stunts. I think Tom Cruise has. People, listen, people, people, people don't understand. This is true with the letters to the American, letter to the American church. We're making a documentary. We are producing it with, uh, I mean, I just have to say. say I'm excited about it because Hank Cooneman prophesied over the book when the book came out or before the book came out. It's really wild. The prophetic stuff can get wiggie, but when it happens and you see that it's true, it's it's it's encouraging at the same time that it's startling

to because we all say we, you know, I say I believe in God, but when you see him speak and it happens. So we're making a documentary film of letter to the American church. I think we're at a time. Folks, I think I warned you that we would in this hour be interviewing someone who claims to have been inspired by this program to do something pretty amazing. Hard for me to take that in. I am usually a humble guy, so I'm actually genuinely surprised when I hear something crazy like this. But my guest is Mark Stansell.

He's the head of Terminus Media. Mark, welcome. Thank you for having me on the show, Eric. Well, listen, you've created And tell my audience, because I always do the talking. Tell my audience what it is that you've created before we talk about how you got inspired to do it. Sure. Well, I wrote a story called Ascension.

And the story, the genesis of the story came from listening to your show, listening to the Eric Metaxa show. And I heard a gentleman named Ken Fish talking about deliverance ministry and a ministry of healing. and the Holy Spirit power in his ministry. And I became very curious because I was sitting in a church where I felt like the people did church just about as well as you could do church without having God or the power of God be involved. Right. So I'm sitting in this church and, you know, just listening to Ken Fish and other guests on your show. And I felt like the Spirit of the Lord is not here. So I left that church and I went to a different church here.

in Atlanta. And it totally changed my life and my perspective. And things like Jesus, when Jesus said, when I'm gone, you will do greater things than these. And I felt like, why don't I see the body of Christ, the church, doing these greater things that Jesus said we would be doing? So I went and I actually listened. I went and heard Ken Fish here in Atlanta and spoke with him briefly.

And we, and I wrote the. the book Ascension, which is, Ascension is, it's like Sun Tzu's Art of War, but it's a spiritual art of war. It is the goal of the book, and the book is a big, like, fully illustrated comic book like this, this is our book Dominion. But Ascension is going to be a hundred-page comic book, and the goal of the book is that when someone reads this book, even if they don't know anything about spiritual war in the beginning, they, at the end of the book, they would know, how to conduct spiritual war and win. And the book, like all of our comic books,

it leads to the reader back to the Word of God and the sword of the spirit and how to use that. So Ken Fish was the beginning of all this, but also Dr. Hugh Ross. And the things, he started talking about transdimensional super beings on your show. And transdimensional super beings are demons. And, you know, we've heard all these, you know,

reports of UFOs recently. It's in all the news. and all the reporting. And I actually asked Dr. Ross on Facebook, I said, Dr. Ross, in a comment, do you believe that all these increases in reports of transdimensional super beings? Do you think that that's increased demonic activity? And he had a really cerebral PhD answer. It was, yes.

And so, and he pointed me to a book that has over 2,000 true stories of, transdimensional super being sightings. So I took those really spiritual ideas from Ken Fish and the fact that we should be working in the supernatural because we serve a supernatural God. And the concepts from Hugh Ross, and that was the beginning of writing the story, essentially. Listen, you could not bless me more, Marks, Dansell. I am not kidding.

When I do everything I do, I mean, the books that I write and this program and the other things that I do. You know, I'm always hoping that God is using me. That's the goal of my life is for for Jesus to use me for his purposes. But when I actually get to hear somebody say to me that they listen to my program and this guest and this guest, you know, changed their lives. First of all, I got to deal with the Ken Fish thing. Ken Fish, I knew that by having him on the program, a lot of people over the years, when I, you know, when my Bonhofer book came out, I worked with Chuck Colson. I think a lot of people thought I was kind of like, you know, this reformed, you know, cerebral.

I don't know. People get a certain impression. But I've had miraculous experiences. And I thought I don't want people to get the wrong impression about me. More importantly, I don't want them to get the wrong impression about reality and the spiritual reality of the Holy Spirit and the spiritual realm, the dark side of the spiritual realm. It's important we talk about that. So when I got to know Ken Fish, not too many years ago, I thought, man, I've got to get them on the show, hoping, hoping that people like you would tune in and go, you know what?

We don't have that in my church. Why don't we have that in my church? That's interesting. I think that's happened to a lot of people. A lot of people say, look, my church might be a decent church in many ways, but this is real. This is a spiritual reality. We're not dealing with it. Biblically, it says we're supposed to deal with it.

we're supposed to be involved in spiritual warfare. God created us to do that. So when I hear somebody like you come on and say that you actually went to another church because you heard Ken Fish on my program, I just want to say thank you, thank you for your obedience, number one, and for following what seemed to you to be true and right. But then thank you for telling me in my audience about it, because it really does bless me because I think to myself,

you know, we just do the show. Who knows who's listening? Who knows what's happening? But that's a gigantic thing. Also, the fact, we haven't had Hugh Ross on in a while, but his, we will have him back, of course, but his work and his books have affected me over the years. And so I've had him on this program. But what's funny to me is you almost can't think of two people more different than Hugh Ross

and Ken Fish. Both of them, I'll tell you what, though, both of them are brainy, to the point of on the spectrum Asperger's genius. Both of them are super geniuses. There's no doubt about that. But one of them expresses it in very hyper cerebral apologetics. The other one expresses it, you know, in deliverance and healing ministry. But it's just so fascinating to me that these two guests who are, you know, represent the

farthest range of perspectives in some ways on my program that both of them somehow spoke to you. But all of this brings us down to what I can't believe is that it led you to create content, media content. In other words, we're talking about all these things. But at the end of the day, you are the CEO of a Christian comics and animation company called Terminous Media. And you've created, Dominion is the one, is that the new one? I always want to make clear that people know what we're talking about. Yeah, and this is Dominion. And you can see this is a graphic novel for folks that don't know.

A graphic novel is basically a comic book that's, you know, 100 pages plus. So, you know, it's full color and all these things. And, you know, this one, all of our books have study guides in them that sort of lead the reader back to the Bible, right? because in Isaiah 55 it says, my word will not return void. So when someone reads this book Dominion, and just to tell you what Dominion is, it's an allegory of the story of King Saul in the Bible. It's called Dominion Fall of the House of Saul. And three years ago, Terminus Media decided that the only thing we wanted to do was work

This is really exciting to me. It's exciting to me. You mentioned, Mark, that my radio program, this program, had influenced you, that having Ken Fish on the program influenced you, and actually led you to go to another church in the Atlanta area. Would you feel comfortable telling us which church in the Atlanta area? Absolutely. Restoration Church in Alfreda, Georgia, Pastor Chuck Ramsey, is a spirit-fifist.

man of God and the difference between sitting in, you know, a big, massive megach church where the spirit of the Lord was not there and the change going to a church where the where the spirit of the Lord is in this place. And it was just like, like plugging into the power source, you know, the lightning of the Holy Spirit. Well, I mean, it's an interesting thing because there could be churches, you know, where the Holy Spirit is there, but they're not acknowledging him or they're not inviting him to manifest himself. So that's kind of amazing. But it also amazes me. You said that your pastor mentioned my book letter to the American church because there are churches that they're moving in the spirit, but they're shrinking back from engaging with the world in the way that God calls the church

Pastor Chuck Ramsey. Yeah. Well, so I'm encouraged that he would be publicly mentioning my book letter to the American

Church. Because for me, that's become like a litmus test. It's not about me or my book, but it's like if your church is not alive to where we are in history, if your church is not speaking out that we as a church are called to be involved in everything, we're not called to shrink from politics or culture. we're called to bring God into those places.

And there's never been a greater opportunity than today because everything is going insane. The culture is going absolutely insane. And the churches have to step up. So I'm just, this is really just good news. So thank you. I want to get back to what you were talking about on the, at the end of the last segment. A lot of people, parents are struggling because most of the culture, it was always bad, or at least in our lifetimes, it's been bad.

But it's gotten dramatically worse. It's gotten satanic. It's gotten anti-gat. It's gotten anti-virtue. It's gotten anti-reality. You've got, you know, Disney and other people creating trans characters. I mean, it's really horrifying. So people always say, gosh, I wish there were some people who shared my values,

creating media, which is, again, you can tell why I'm so excited to have you on the program. That's exactly what you're doing. It is taking the words that we have in the Word of God.

And it's almost like the church has forgotten these weapons of warfare that we used to wield with the power of the Holy Spirit. We've forgotten how to pray. We've forgotten how to wield the sword of the spirit and to go forth in confidence knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord, and the Lord will fight for us. Right. And so that's what Ascension is all about is teaching, you know, one of, I was thinking about, you know, one of the things with Sun Tzu, the art of wars, he said, the greatest art of war is to subdue your enemy without a fight.

And that is what I see in the church right now. I see the church laying down our weapons, surrendering, and being subdued. dude, well, I don't, I don't want them to think I'm a big, I don't want them to think I'm a jerk. So we just close our mouths and we don't, we don't share the life-giving truth of the gospel with people. And I'm glad someone took the risk to share the gospel with me because it changed my life. And then I'm glad someone, like you, brother, Eric, I feel like, you know, you're a big brother who said, hey, hey, listen to my friends here, Ken Fish, Hugh Ross. and being these men are intelligent, brilliant men.

You went to Yale, so you're no slouch either. But to see men like you have courage and to step out and to engage in battle in the culture, it encourages us. It encourages me and what I'm doing every day to fight the battle. And, you know, all these people, they're not the enemy. They're the prize. These are the people. that God has called us to love and to pursue and to share the good news of the gospel,

because it's good news, it's great news. We're excited about it. Everything that we do is because we're excited about it, and we want to share it with people, and we want to share it with the next generation. So that's what we're all about. I just, again, you know, you're very kind in what you're saying to me, but I want to be real clear. You are encouraging me, and you are encouraging, everybody listening to this,

program right now because we need to encourage each other. We are all in a battle. We are all struggling. We're all suffering. We are all discouraged at times. We need to encourage each other. And that's really what God allows us to do in our spheres. Not everybody has a radio program. Not everybody has the ability to create a media company. But we all have different abilities. And when did you come to faith? Did you grow up in the faith

and decide to kind of turn it over to God more recently? Like how did this happen? happened for you. Where did you grow up, first of all? Well, I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and I went to, you know, an independent fundamentalist of Fire and Brimstone Church when I was a kid. And so I got my fire insurance when I was a little kid because I was like, man, I don't want to go to, I don't want to go to hell. That sounds really bad. But when I was a teenager, I went to Panama City Beach when I was in 11th grade and the Spirit of the Lord was in that place. I didn't even know what it was because, you know, there wasn't an emphasis on the person of the Holy Spirit in that church, but the Holy Spirit moved and he moved on my heart.

And I gave my life, you know, I gave my life to Christ fully to walk with Jesus every day and to be a disciple of Jesus. And, you know, we started Terminous Media 20 years ago. And three years ago, we decided after, you know, almost 20 years of just doing kind of general comics and animation, And we had clients like the CDC and NITO tires, you know, corporate company. But three years ago, we decided, as I've stated earlier, I believe that the only thing we wanted to do was content that glorified God and built the kingdom of God.

Amazon and if they prefer that so it's it's content you know I think one thing I want to emphasize is there's nobody who's saying, you know what, we need more kind of cheesy, kind of corny Christian content. One thing that we emphasize in our organization is excellence. This work that we're doing is our worship, right?

We are honoring God with what we're doing. So we want to do everything with excellence. And so, you know, when you buy this book or for your youth group or for a vacation Bible school or for your kids so he doesn't, you know, sit on TikTok all summer, it's high quality, not cheesy. Yeah, I think that's the big thing I want to emphasize. So you're saying that so that this graphic novel actually has a study guide that leads people back to scripture. Absolutely. But you can just, you know, buy a copy and give it to your kids and don't say anything.

You know, you don't need to, you don't need to like blow the punchline, ladies and gentlemen. This is called strategy. You can just buy the book. and give it to your kids and say, hey, this is just the kind of dumb thing I think that would appeal to you and put it in front of them. Use reverse psychology to fool the dumb young kids and to trick them into reading something really awesome. But it is kind of funny because that look, we all are that way. When you see something coming, you back away. So you want to just kind of, you know, depending on what your kids are like.

But I just love the fact that it's just a graphic novel. You've created a graphic novel. And if somebody buys it, don't say anything. I say this when people say, I've got to, you know, my, my, my son's become an atheist. And can I give him your book? Is atheism dead? And I think, you know, if you come at him, you know, guns ablazin, he's going to back away because that's exactly what I did when I was not, when I was confused about God and stuff,

when people came at me with the big Jesus talk, I just naturally backed away. And so I think you have wisdom, which is why we need to do things like, create excellent media, which is what you're talking about. So terminusmedia.com is the web of terminusmedia.com. But I just like the idea that you could just buy copies of this and just, you know, give them to your grandkids or give them to your kids and just don't say anything. Maybe they'll read it in a year. Just keep your mouth shut and like, you know, give it to them because we need to be wise.

But I love the idea, of course, Mark, that you've been doing this for a couple of decades. You guys are great at what you do. This is not some, because a lot of times people say like, oh, I've got an idea to start a media company. You've been doing this for 20 years and you've decided to turn your attention to these issues. So Dominion, Fall of the House of Saul, this is the book that exists now. I've never been a graphic novel guy myself. I feel because of you, I want to change that and be open to reading graphic novels. But that's the one that's available now.

Mark, you can tell I'm excited just because, you know, you've shared a number of things on this program that would get me excited and encouraged. But just the idea that you're creating content for people who are, you know, they're out there, they're looking for something excellent and good, but they don't know.

know where to turn and a lot of you know quote unquote officially christian stuff is kind of cheesy or subpar somehow and of course that always bums me out but you um you feel called to this to creating redemptive stuff and i've i've talked to a number of people over the years who they're committed to doing stuff that's not cheesy it's kind of funny that the word cheesy keeps coming up um because it's a nice way of of saying whatever else you might say about stuff that's just not like really awesome in terms of the execution. It's got a great idea behind it. But you guys are committed to that.

The folks at Lour TV, we've had them on. That's L-O-O-R-TV. L-O-R-T-V. We've had them on. They're similarly, you know, animated, no pun intended, to create stuff that is excellent, that has a bit of an edge, as truth always does. So you, I guess,

I just want to ask you, because it's our last segment, you know, what, what happened, you know, three years ago that made you say, I want to dedicate my company to doing specifically Christian or God-centered material? The Spirit of the Lord came in like a flood. That's what happened. And I remember, I remember very distinctly talking to my brother, Dr. Barron Bell, on the telephone. And we said at the same time, the only thing we want to do is work that glorifies God and builds the kingdom of God. If it's anything else, we're just not interested. It was the one thing that we were excited about. And the one thing that we wanted to do, you know, it was the beginning of the pandemic.

A lot of people were feeling hopeless and what's going to happen. And there was a lot of fear. And we just said, Lord, what would you have us do? and the Lord would have us do this work that we're doing that we hope impacts the lives of people and glorifies God and leads people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. And so I just, I mean, I just every day is better than the day before working in this way, working with the spirit, being on. like surfing on a wave. It's like it's like catching the wind in a sailboat when we're working

in the Holy Spirit and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead instead of trying to think of everything ourselves and trying to do all the work ourselves. We just say, Lord, this is yours. Whatever you want to do with this, Lord, do it and be honored and be glorified. And we're going to work really hard, but we know ultimately that the battle belongs to the Lord and the Lord will win it for us. So I just, again, I'm just so excited to know you all are doing this. I feel particularly thrilled somehow that my radio program would have had any role in this. I take zero credit, ladies and gentlemen, this is God.

And we have to be blunt and clear about that. God is alive. He wants to use us. He wants to use every single one of us, not just me and not just Mark Stansell, my guest. He wants to use every single one of us. And again, you know, when people say, what can I do, what can I do? Listen, you can support those who are doing other stuff.
