It is my privilege and joy to have as my guest right now for the whole hour, my friend, Pastor Mike Thompson. Pastor Mike Thompson, welcome back. Oh, I'm so glad to be here, Eric. Wow, it's a great day to talk about wonderful things in the United States and about the power of the kingdom. of God here. Yes. A little excitement and encouragement is not a bad thing, especially when it's not phony, and it's not phony. You're not

blowing smoke. I tell people this whenever they ask about you. What initially attracted me to you and kept me listening to you on YouTube is that you are very sober-minded. When you say something positive, I know you're not putting it on. I know that it's real.

It's true. I want to tell people if they're not familiar with you that you've just written a book, which I recommend very highly. It's called Third Heaven Authority. I want to talk about that in a few minutes. but I think so much of you and so much of the book, Third Heaven Authority, that of course I wrote the forward to the book because I really want people to be familiar with you and they can be familiar with you by reading the book

because there are tons of stories in there of who you are and things you've experienced and about the concept of Third Heaven Authority. So I want to be talking about that. But you, I believe I've said it before probably a few times, that you were one of those very, very few people, in some ways, the main one, who gave me hope during the darkest days after the stolen election of 2020

and all the things that were happened. Your voice from your pulpit on your YouTube channel gave me hope because it didn't feel like you were in some kind of an echo chamber telling people what they wanted to hear or what they hoped was true. But you were, you were really saying what you'd heard from God. Now, I'm sure there are people listening who say, heard from God. What are these people nuts? Turns out we're not nuts. Turns out you're mistaking us with people who are nuts. This is serious. But we do take it so seriously that we understand

that it would challenge some people. They say, well, that's, you know, that's a bridge too far. I'm not sure I can go there. Well, stick around or you can read Mike's book Third Heaven Authority because these are important things that we know that we can hear from God and we know when we hear from God and when we don't hear from God and then we don't make it up and say we did hear from God. But you've been encouraging, Mike, very encouraging to me because you have said over and over that God is not done with this country and he has spoken. to you in various ways explicitly about that. So I want to talk about that a little bit. Why do you say that, you know, God is not done with America and that it is his will that we pray America

back to God? Oh, absolutely. You know, I firmly believe that in the natural realm, so to speak, I mean, you've got to understand, of course, we're human beings. We live in the natural realm, but we also live in the spiritual realm because, you know, we have a human spirit on the inside that it receives Jesus as our Lord and Savior when we accept Him. Holy Spirit lives on the inside of us. That's the eternal part

that when we go through physical death, that goes on into heaven to be with the Lord. So there's a natural realm and there's a spiritual realm. My point being, Eric, is that it's easy sometimes because of our training to see what the devil is doing in the natural realm, to see what's going wrong. And if we just focus in on that, then of course we're going to be discouraged, but we're also spiritual beings. And so we have the capacity to be able to see the form of the Lord, to see what God is doing, to hear it by revelation

from the scripture. And, you know, the Lord, I'm one of those guys. You mentioned it, you know, very prophetic, been having those encounters all of my life, 45 years of ministry. And I just, I see things, I hear things, I know things in the spirit. And they're all encouraging. When you see what the Lord is doing in the circumstances that may be ominous, that may be dark, we focus on what the Lord is doing. And that kind of faith is what brings us to the point to where even I wrote the book on Third Heaven Authority, a prayer book to teach people how to see in the spiritual realm, to see the form of the Lord, and then with the spiritual authority to be able to engage in that and help God. A lot of people say, well, help God.

God doesn't need any help. He does because it is God moving through his body, his believers. Those who have accepted him. Well, let's be clear. The Lord designed it that way. So, you know, on some level, God doesn't need help, but he chose us and created us in his image to be a part of what he wants to do. So if we don't do his will, he has given us the freedom, because we're made in his image, to not do his will or to do his will. He's given us that freedom. And so he exhorts us. to do his will, to participate with him in what he is doing. So when people act, as you just said, like, I don't need to do anything, it's like, well, that's not God's design. God's design is that he created you to do something, but he can't force you to do something. So it's an amazing privilege that we have as those made in his image and born again and filled with his Holy Spirit that we actually get to participate. in his will and in being a part of what he wants to do in history.

And I think that's a big, it's important that you brought that up because a lot of people have a misunderstanding on that. You get people that are really fatalistic and they think, oh, it's all over. And they act like there's nothing they can do even potentially to make things move in the right direction. Like it's been decided. And you and I know that that's not right until the Lord decides he hasn't decided. and they're acting, they're putting themselves in the role of God and saying, oh, it's done.

It's got, we're under judgment. It's over. And God hasn't said that. No, not at all. I believe that God's hand is still on America. You know, Jesus gathered his disciples together and he said, go into all the world and preach the gospel. He didn't say, go home, make baloney sandwiches, and wait for me to do it all.

He said to go. And in Matthew 16, you know, where he said that I've given unto that. ecclese of the church, the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whatever they bind on earth is bound or shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever they lose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven. So he uses us, he flows through us, and hence your book on the letter to the American church. You know, it's activate. Believers need to be activated. They are the enforcers in the earth realm of the kingdom of heaven. When I wrote the book Letter to the American Church,

I'm not prophetic, obviously, in the way that you're prophetic, or Chris Reed or Dutch Eats, or Hank Cooneman, or, you know, but I do know that the Lord called me to write that and spoke through me in that, in a different way than he speaks to you and to others who are gifted as, prophets in the office of prophets who move in the prophetic as we say. But I don't believe the Lord would have called me to write letter to the American Church unless it was his will that people

would read it and be activated by it, brought to repentance because of their inaction and say, you know what, I got it wrong. I believe God is exhorting me to get involved, to speak out, to be part of God's solution, and stop being apathetic. and really selfish and doing nothing because so many lives depend on it. I'm excited about the book. It's called Third Heaven Authority. I want to talk to you, Mike, about, in a sense, the argument of the book, the principle of Third Heaven Authority. And I want to say, kind of reiterate what I was saying a moment ago, that there have been a number of prophetic voices with whom I'm familiar. Hank Cooneman. I was with him in Omaha, Nebraska, recently. Chris Reed, whom I know, and Dutch sheets, all of them in different ways have said God's hand is on this country. He's not done with this country. Be of good cheer. A whole, a whole

pray, work for God's purposes. Dutch sheets, I remember about a year ago, I guess, or maybe not quite. I was in, maybe it was in September. I was in Omaha, Nebraska. And there was a conference. And he said very, very boldly about how God had years before called him to, you know, to pray America back. In other words, to fight. for America, not to let America go. And how God had said, I need my people to pray to be a part of bringing America back. And he didn't say it like, oh, who knows, maybe it could happen. This was like God's command to his people that I want you to do this. And you have said some very, very similar things on your program on your YouTube channel. Oh, yeah, totally. You know, I think that as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, that we have a commission to go to war. I mean, there are different analogies

throughout the Bible. We're the body of Christ, you know, we're the family of God, but we're also what I call a lion's army. And the lion of the tribe of Judah, Jesus Christ, we are his army. We're spiritual warriors. I'm a warrior, you know, to the bone. That's the way that God put me together. And so, you know, as warriors, we understand that we have the Lord with us. There's nothing impossible. There's nothing too big. That's why I don't focus on the negative that's out there. I know it. I see it. But I also know what the Lord God is doing. And so we've got to fight for America. And in the book on Third Heaven Authority, that whole concept of authority, you know, we have the power of God, which is the ability to act. But we also have the authority of God, which is the right to act.

We have the name of Jesus. We have the commission to go forward. We can bind and loose. We can cast out demons. We do spiritual warfare. And I think, Eric, that really is one of the premises of the book is to teach people that it's a spiritual warfare that's going on in the atmosphere that is around us. It's real. Everything that happens in the natural realm is a product of the spiritual realm. You know, the Lord began dealing with me in 2004 is when he introduced to me the concept of how that there is a ruling political spirit of Jezebel in America that's trying to take over America. Now, translated, that actually is talking about the far left, you know, in political terms, social terms, all of that kind of stuff. But I always deal with the spiritual

perspective because that's what God has me to do. That's my gifting, an an anointing. The body of Christ has an anointing, an empowerment with the authority to do the spiritual warfare. And so I introduce people to that in the spiritual atmosphere, understanding what's going on. And that's where we have our true power and ability. I believe that the body of Christ, is the greatest spiritual influence in the earth today. Yes, there's a negative side. Yes, there's the kingdom of Satan. There's the darkness. But we have the true power. And if we rise up, we can change this nation. We can take it forward into the covenant that God is built into this nation. So I just want to empower people on an individual basis, because it's not just about the

nation. It's about their life, their ministry, their ministry, their own. their family, the people they come in contact with, how do they just walk in that authority that God's given them? How can there be a spring in their step? How can there be an understanding and a knowledge and a confidence in who they are in God and that God's moving for them? and through them, those kind of things have a personal application to their own individual life and circumstances. And so I just want people to be raised up. Well, part of what you're talking about, because it's so fascinating to me how, you know,

over the years I've met many Christians who there's something defeatist about them, even when they're praying, they're kind of praying like, oh, Lord, like the Lord doesn't really want to do this or or I pray it in a way but they don't pray with a kind of a joy and with an authority and again God is God God is going to do his will we only want his will to be done but we forget who we are in him and that's what your book third heaven authority deals with it's like he doesn't save us so that we can be kind of hand-wringing you know just waiting till we get to heaven but he has given us a job to do. And it's not about buying a gun and going to war.

It's about going to war in the spirit. It's about going to war in prayer. And understanding that this is the joyful commission that God has given us, that we can affect eternity. We can affect history through our prayers. And of course, it's the Lord doing it. But he has deputized us. It is his will to deputize us so that we would, in his name,

like I come in the name of the king. We are coming in the name of the king with the authority of the king, the signet ring of the king. People say, well, it's like if it has Caesar's seal on it, that's got the weight of Caesar behind it. God has given us that authority. It's his will that we move in that authority. But what you write about in the book and what you've talked about for a number of years is that many Christians haven't discovered this. So there's something kind of defeatist or kind of they're hobbled in their faith. Yes.

And so because of that, then they are sometimes disturbed by their inability to push through and to experience the promises of God in their own lives. And if they could just realize that who they are in the Lord Jesus Christ is that they are the righteousness of God in Him, that they are new creations. And you know, this whole book on Third Heaven Authority actually is premised around an encounter that I had where the Lord actually took me to heaven. I just found myself, and this encounter just raised up and into the throne room of God, and there's where he started talking to me about Third Heaven Authority.

He started teaching me and talking to me about who we are in the Lord Jesus Christ. And it's so important for people to understand that. I really want to encourage them. If they buy the book, it would help them a lot. But just get into the scripture, the book to the Ephesians, and so forth, talk so much. about who we are in him. And so we were created by God with great power and great victory. Well, it's an amazing thing.

When I was in Omaha, Nebraska with Hank Kooneman, Gene Bailey was there, and he and his wife were reading your book. And I was excited about that because I thought to myself, more and more people need to understand. this, what you're saying is biblical, obviously. Otherwise, I wouldn't want to be promoting these ideas on my program or anywhere. But what you're saying is biblical. And what we see happening is that this is a new season with God. He is calling his people to something new and beautiful. And I think maybe people don't understand that, that there are seasons, that God appoints seasons. And in a way, we are living at a time now where the spiritual warfare is intense,

but God is activating, wanting to activate his people to participate, to pray, and to be hopeful that we could take our country back away from authoritarians who don't believe in the founder's vision of America. By the way, which is a biblical vision, the idea of self-government, you know, that ultimately all of that comes out of scripture, that God would be our king, that we would answer to God. And so you are hopeful about America. Oh, totally. I don't think there's anything wrong with the system.

I think it's a God-ordained system, just like you said. The problem is the people that occupy. And so the enemy is influenced. A lot of people who hate America or don't like America or the way. that it has been going, and so they want to deviate and change it. God loves the system. He loves America, and so he's bringing us to a place. I firmly believe that what's happening is we're at a point right now where there's a complete pendulum switch. It's a swing, rather, and that we are swinging back to the body of Christ and good, honest people in America taking this country back for God.

And I got to tell you, Pastor Mike, it's just a joy to know you personally. and to get to introduce you to my audience because you've been such a real source of encouragement to me and to Suzanne. So you were just talking about that you believe firmly that it's God's will to call this nation back to himself that we're on the verge of victories in that sense. Now, I never care how God does what he wants to do.

That's the Lord's business. But has God shared with you whether Donald Trump would return to office because we are in a tremendous political battle right now. We know it's all spiritual ultimately. But is that something that you can talk about? And it doesn't matter what you say. I'm just curious. I believe that, well, two things.

Number one is that God's hand is still on Donald Trump. Absolutely. I am supporter of Donald Trump. So is my wife, C.K. And those that are, you know, involved in this ministry and around. to say that God said beyond a shadow of a doubt that Donald Trump will be in office in 20, you know, at the end of 2024, et cetera, I don't know that I can say that specifically that God said. But what I can say is that God wants that. Absolutely.

And one of the things that the Lord told me is that it's up to the body of Christ to pray amen. And, you know, when we talk about Trump, he does have the hand of the Lord on him. Some people say, well, others have the hand of the Lord of them. There are the candidates that are vying for the nomination. And I have the hand of the Lord. Everybody has the hand of the Lord on them if they know Jesus Christ in the capacity of God is for them. And they're in the kingdom and they're going. But when the hand of the Lord comes upon a person, there's a specific anointing.

That anointing can be at times for a very specific function only. And so I believe that the anointing that God is placed on Donald Trump, which he told me in April of 2016, is for the office, for that work. And so I honestly believe that, yeah, he's going to make it to the presidency. But it's got to be with the prayers and the spiritual warfare of the body of Christ putting him in there. Okay, which is another reason I hope people will get a copy of third heaven authority because folks, we need to be involved. We need to understand how this works. We need to understand how do I pray.

If you follow Mike Thompson on YouTube, you begin to get a sense of that. But we need to be a part of this. This is not something that just happens because somebody said it's going to happen. God wants us to be involved. And I say that in my own capacity with my book letter to the American Church, God wants us all to be involved, to be doing everything we can. Some of that is being activated politically. Some of that is being outspoken culturally.

Some of that is sharing things on social media. Get involved in every way you can. But for sure, without any question, one way you can be involved is through prayer. And obviously you talk about that in the book Third Heaven Authority. But you are hopeful that we could bring. bring Trump back and that God would use him to restore this country. And I just had General Flynn on a few days ago. And I think that what we have ahead is huge.

In other words, the work that has to be done, the government has to practically be gutted. We have a tremendously corrupt government. And the deep state needs to be gutted. The swamp needs to be drained and defunded. we need total reform in the FBI and in the intelligence community and on and on. If we don't do those things, then it continues to be corrupt. So we do have a lot of work to do. But at the heart of it is God's people doing what God calls them to do.

Yeah. And I think one of the things that people ask me sometimes, they say, well, does Donald Trump matter? I mean, you know, the plan is more important than the man. And I say, no, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Who could have replaced Moses? Who could have replaced King David? Who could have replaced Jesus? Who could have replaced Peter or Paul?

The man matters. And at this point, that man has the hand of the Lord on him. And look, we don't need to pretend like, you know, in case because I can hear people say, oh, you know, they're comparing Donald Trump to Jesus and David. And folks, we could have. We could have just said Lincoln. We could have just said George Washington. We could have said Winston Churchill.

The fact of the matter is, if it hadn't been for George Washington, I do not believe we would have won the Revolutionary War and become America. Because God appointed George Washington to do what he did. I believe the same thing is true of Lincoln. I believe the same thing is through of Churchill. There are figures in history. and you've just said it. It matters. The Lord picked that person, the Lord created that person for that specific role at that time in history.

And that's the case you're making for Trump. And frankly, it makes sense to me. That's kind of just how I see it, you know. Right. And so my support for Trump is not based purely upon what I've rationalized and tried to figure out, oh, I like him or what he does or, you know, whatever, of course. I do, but it's because the Lord impressed it upon me. My conviction is so solid on that that that's the only thing I can do is go forward in faith.

And one of the things, Eric, too, is that I believe that the 2020 election needs to be fixed. What does that mean to be fixed? Well, I think that it needs to be brought back to righteousness in some manner. and without Trump coming back in 2024, I don't see how that can happen. Okay, I agree with that. I'm talking to Pastor Mike Thompson. The book is Third Heaven Authority. You were just saying that you believe, as many people who are paying attention, believe that the 2020 election was stolen. I wish that weren't true. I wish I were exaggerating. The more I look at it, the more I think people are foolish to think that the Democrats wouldn't do that. They would do anything for power.

Many of them are convinced Donald Trump is Hitler, and they would, you know, take him out with a bullet, stealing ballots, whatever you need to do to cripple him while he's in office, to make sure he doesn't get back in office, anything. And so, yes, I do believe genuinely that that's what happened. And if you pay any attention to what happened, I'm sorry, folks, but that's real. So you say, Pastor Mike Thompson, that God wants to make that right. And it's kind of like I think you said, like, you know, if your car is stolen, how do you resolve that, ideally by getting the car back to its original owner? And somehow that's what you're talking about. Right. In that analogy I made a long time ago was that if it was stolen out of your driveway, the police find a guy and they call you and say, we found him, we're going to put him in jail, but we're going to keep the car, let him keep the car. No, no, no, it's got to come back. So, yeah, I don't know, Eric, in all honesty, exactly how it's going to play out. But I do know that God is going to bring some kind of restoration to that. That's my firm conviction.

And, you know, when they talk about how it was stolen, they say, well, you don't have proof. You know, it's a conglomeration of all kinds of things. And from voting laws being changed to ballot harvesting to, I mean, the list goes on. In my state of Nevada, they had the reports of, I think it was something like 2,000 dead people voted. you know, and none of them were Republicans. So the conglomeration, that needs to be fixed. And so I really believe that God's doing it this cycle. Well, again, the corruption is just despicable,

and it's huge level of corruption. And ladies and gentlemen, that is a moral issue. If you do not care about filthy corruption in your own government, in your electoral, system. That's amazing to me. That's really, it's immoral to look away when you have a responsibility as an American citizen to care that every person's vote counts. And, you know, as you said, Pastor Mike, it was, it was a number of things. I was in the film 2000 mules. That was one way

that they did that. Messing with the machines. Some people don't know that in, I think it was in 2016, HBO made a documentary on how all of those machines could be hacked, and it was made with Democrat talking heads. They were complaining about how all those machines could be hacked. The whole film was on HBO. Once it worked to get Trump out of office, they stopped talking about it, and they said, if you talk about that, you're crazy, whatever.

But HBO made a documentary on the subject of, hacking the machines to steal elections. And so there are innumerable things you touched on a few of them. But when people say, oh, you don't talk about that. I think to myself, why shouldn't we talk about it? This is America. We have the freedom to talk about what's in front of our own eyes. We have an obligation to care.

Oh, exactly. You know, one of the good things that I want to say, Eric, is that I really believe that we are, part of this pendulum swing that's coming back is not only on the political side and how God is beginning to bring righteousness and justice back, but I think that there is a great spiritual release of goodness that's coming to the kingdom of God. And I think that God's really moving people into a place to where I analogize that when Jesus was in the wilderness, trials, tribulations, all the things that he went through during that period of time,

you know, the 40 days in the wilderness and stuff, that the Lord has been dealing with me that we are coming out of the wilderness like Jesus. I'm talking about the body of Christ and those who are really spiritual warriors and really go for being released in the power of the spirit. We're in the time of the power of the spirit right now. And so that is changing individual's lives and it's changing our nation in such significant ways right now. I want people to be encouraged. If you're a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, you are coming out of the time of testing trials, tribulations,

which this last three years has been. The power of the Spirit of God is going to propel. you into great things, not only in your own individual life, but also for our nation. And I think that's another part of this whole thing we're talking about the restoration of Donald Trump to political office, all of these things. There's such a shift everywhere in America right now. And it's so encouraging. Well, so, you know, to reiterate, you are really hopeful.

and you're hearing from God. I know you well enough, Mike, that you hear from God. You don't blow smoke. You're not just saying this because it's a nice idea, but you sense this in the spirit. And you're an encouragement to those who listen to you because you're saying this is what God is saying is happening. We can see some of it in the natural.

There is tremendous darkness. And I want to be clear, too, folks, we're in a war. We're dealing with very dark, forces, but in a sense, they've outed themselves. The evilness has become more evil, more manifest, more obviously evil to people who normally would just be going through life. They look around at the madness and they say, wait a minute, what is happening? Men can't become women. Women can't become men. Are you kidding me? You mean to tell me they're talking about this stuff to little kids in schools? Who's authorized this? What is happening? Many, many, many people are turning to God because

The lunacy everywhere we look, Anheiser Bush pushing a transgender, Disney pushing transgender, the LA Dodgers and on and on and on. People understand, okay, it's time that we wake up, we take action, we get involved, we haven't been doing it. Shame on us. We need to get involved. Mike, before we get into the final thing, how can people find you on YouTube or the name of the ministry or what's an easy way for people to find you? Most all of the social media accounts, Eric, are Mike Thompson Ministries. Okay. It could be YouTube, Rumble, Instagram, Facebook, Mike Thompson Ministries. Okay. Mike Thompson Ministries. Now, we were mentioning how evil has become bolder, more brazen, more manifest, and it's waking a lot of people up. And you were talking about there's increased spiritual warfare from the dark side,

sorcery, people that are openly occultic. Talk about that. I had an encounter a couple of weeks ago, and a lot of people may not understand exactly what all this means. But, you know, I was praying, just minding my own business. And suddenly, it's like the Holy Spirit just drew me into the spiritual realm. And at that particular point, I saw a vision. And in this vision, there was a large anvil that was there in front of me. and I saw a large metal hammer come crashing down on it.

My first thought was, you know, this, of course, hammers, anvils, that kind of stuff. But then I realized when the hammer hits the anvil with such force that it cracked the anvil, something's different going on here. That's not supposed to happen, right? Yeah, right. And so the Lord spoke to me, and he began talking to me about how that he's bringing a hammer of justice against the anvil of idolatry and witchcraft. And so I looked this all, and he said,

I'm using the Lions Army, in other words, the prayer warriors, Third Heaven Authority warriors, to break that anvil. And he began talking to me about how that it's mixed up so much witchcraft, sorcery, magical arts, all talking about the same thing in Scripture. That's mixed up with Jezebel on the far left.

In fact, Jezebel at one point, by King Jehu, when he was coming against her, described and said that she was operating in witchcraft, sorcery. And so that form of demonic is actually involved in and connected with the far left. And the Lord said there's so much sorcery mixed in with Jezebel's agenda. And when you look at all the things that are going on in America, and he said, the body of Christ is bringing to stop to that. Maybe not a complete stop, but we're paralyzing. We're exposing that form of wickedness that is behind it. Because, you know, even the Apostle Paul said that the enticement behind idolatry and false worship and false gods is demonic spirits.

and so they're at play. Well, I know that you shared the kind of longer version of that story on your YouTube channel. I watched it. I don't know. It was a week ago or something like that.
