Welcome to the Eric Metaxis show.
Did you ever see the movie The Blobs starring Steve McQueen?
The blood-curdling threat of The Blob.
Well, way back when, Eric had a small part in that film,
but they had to cut his scene because the blob was supposed to eat him.
But he kept spitting him out.
Oh, the whole thing was just a disaster.
Anyway, here's the guy who's not always that easy to digest.
Eric the Texas!
Hey there, folks.
I think I mentioned, we have as our guest, my friend Mike Wilkerson.
You can find him at stormwall.com, stormwall.com.
Mike, welcome back.
Eric, I was a pleasure to be with you.
You're in France.
I don't need to know why you're in France.
I was just in Greece and in England, but through the miracle of technology, we can talk to each other.
Now, you're there in Europe.
You probably haven't heard the news.
they tried to murder Donald Trump.
Or maybe you did hear about that.
I did hear about it.
Like you, I was in Europe when it happened.
And so I wasn't bad by the time after midnight I was asleep.
By the time the event happened, the attempted assassination of a former and likely future U.S.
president.
And I awoke to it.
And, of course, those first few hazy moments, it wasn't clear what had happened or if he had even survived.
And so it was quite terrifying.
thanks be to God, it turned out that he survived miraculously, but that unfortunately others
lost their lives and were seriously injured. As you know, that that first day, it was very
confusing. I found it terribly distracting that it seemed that mainstream media couldn't
even acknowledge what had happened, but they were still talking about Trump falling down,
Trump hearing popping sounds, the secret service being nervous about something.
We have not talked about that on this program because it struck me as so insane that I just kind of dismissed it.
But listen, the idea that you know and I know that this is their worst nightmare.
It's the worst nightmare of the left, the so-called mainstream media.
It is their worst nightmare that their enemy, Donald Trump, would be shot at and survive and look like a hero.
It is the worst nightmare.
So you can understand that they just wanted this to go away.
This is going to haunt them forever that this man was shot at.
And it wasn't his supporters shooting at Biden or shooting at some Democrat.
No, no, no.
It was someone who hated Trump just like they do, trying to murder him.
And it's just a narrative that's so unpleasant to them.
The fact that he survived, it's just it's unbearable because he looks more and more heroic.
They can't stand it.
But this is the first time on the program that we have referenced the idea that CNN and others tried to fob it off as he fell down or somebody shot the teleprompter, which, you know, maybe he caught a piece of flying.
He fell on stage. There were popping noises.
Insane.
It was a total charade for as many hours as they could continue on.
Now, this was late on a Saturday night. They eventually came around to it.
So in those first 24 hours, Eric, the conversation was clearly raining in around two possible outcomes.
One, that this was just gross incompetence and the other that it was malicious intent.
And it reminds me of the joke, tell me the difference between stupidity and fraud and all of my brother-in-law rested.
There is no doubt that this was there was incompetence involved.
But at the same time, it's also clear.
And as the days passed,
the story is getting ridder and that there is reasonably,
and certainly no reason to eliminate at this point the possibility
or even the probability of conspiracy,
of something else going on behind the scene.
And by the way, it's not just me or you or they're saying it.
Senator Ron Johnson said it explicitly to the media on Sunday.
that conspiracy can't be ruled out, confirmed that significant questions exist about whether
there was more than one shooter.
And at that time, over the weekend, the local law enforcement was cooperating with his investigation,
but both the U.S. Secret Service and the ATF were stonewalling.
So this is all very, very troubling that the more we seem to find out, the less we can trust
the official narrative for what went on.
I'm trying to figure out, you know, how anyone at this point, given all that we know,
how anyone can possibly not sense that we're not getting the whole story.
I mean, this is, I guess what I keep saying is I think most Americans sense what we're awake enough now to know that there's something going on in our government,
that it's not what we thought it was.
And this was the classic case.
I mean, the idea that this guy could, you know, slide up onto a roof.
And it just makes no sense.
Anybody with common sense, most people in America have common sense, know that there's
more to the story.
And we need to get to the bottom of it.
And we're not getting to the bottom of it.
And so you've got people, heroic people like Ron Johnson and Josh Hawley and others,
pushing and pushing and saying, we are not going to let this go into the rug.
Now, you know, if Trump had been killed, it's a whole thing.
whole other story. But again, I think this is the worst nightmare. Not only was he not killed,
but now we're going to pull at the thread until we can go back, back, back, and find out
how this happened. These are dark days in America. Let's be clear. Well, we're coming at this,
Eric, reporting this 10 days after the actual assassination attempt. And as it turns out, just yesterday,
the House Committee on Oversight,
helped a subpoena brought in U.S. Secret Service Director, Kimberly Cheatle.
And this thing went on for this interview, let's call it, went on for five hours.
And it opened by basically Chairman Jane Homer calling the U.S. Secret Service
the face of incompetence at this moment.
I mean, just to replay a couple of the facts for everyone's benefit,
you know, the U.S. Secret Service already knew that Thomas Crofts was on the roof,
and yet they allowed President Trump to go on stage anyhow.
I mean, that in itself is just horrible, and they're equivocating by saying, well, he wasn't a threat.
That is unbelievable.
I mean, it's practically unbelievable.
This is the former president of the United States.
United States, probably going to be president again. I mean, if somebody had done this with me speaking,
I would want their head. And I'm a nobody. This is Donald Trump. It doesn't make any sense, Mike.
And this is why we're talking about it, because we have to wonder what was really going on.
And the question is, can we get to the bottom of it? Or is the intelligence, I mean, are these, you know, what we now
call the deep state, are they in such control of the country that we can never get to the bottom of it?
I actually believe by the grace of God alone, miraculously, in the same way that the bullet did not
hit Trump. Miraculously, we will get to the bottom of this, and we will have a new birth of freedom,
and we the people will take back our government from these unelected bureaucrats who dare to think
that they have every right to govern us in this way. I mean, but what you just said,
it's just hard to believe.
They knew somebody was up there.
They knew he was suspicious.
She admitted that.
But they didn't do anything.
They let Trump speak.
It looks like they wanted him killed.
That's what it looks like.
That's what it looks like.
And they have to prove to us that that's not what it was.
So Brooks was under surveillance for nearly an hour.
They knew he was there that he was acting very suspiciously.
They allowed this to go on.
You recall the director Cheedel when she first addressed this.
said, well, there was an issue with the roof that was too slanted,
and for sniper teams up on more slanted roofs than this.
But just yesterday, during the hearing,
she didn't repudiate her slightly sloped surface excuse for why there was
a sniper cop team on the roof or coverage,
and though it was within 150 yards, well within range of any, you know,
AR-15-style long rifle.
More than that,
basically refused any of the basic questions.
Stonewall denied, obfuscated.
And I think to your point, forgive me, we're going to go to a break.
I think the answer is clearly no.
I will let you finish these and other sentences.
When we come back, folks, don't go away.

Folks, welcome back.
We're talking to our friend Mike Wilkerson.
You can find him.
and what he writes at stormwall.com. Stormwall.com.
Mike, you're in France, and we've got some audio issues, but I think we're doing okay.
So keep going with what you were just saying, because it's astonishing stuff that we're living through right now.
Well, we were talking about the role of the U.S. Secret Service's leadership, Director Kimberly Cheedell,
And just to make a couple of points, from the day of the assassination until now, the Secret Service has made no public statement, no, no press conference with the public.
The director was forced a subpoena to appear before the House just yesterday.
Immediately after the attempted assassination, a U.S. Secret Service spokesperson lied about denying Trump's detail their request for moral.
Inaction, specifically that day I'm talking about in the weeks and months before the Butler event,
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas repeated the same lie publicly the next day
that the U.S. Secret Service had never, and he spoke in unconditional terms, had ever denied the request.
Well, it turns out within two days, even the Washington Post and the Times had debunk that and
proven that that was an outright lie. So you have the U.S. service absolutely hiding.
They've released no information. There's been no communication. All of the information,
Eric, as you know, that we've received has been from citizen journalists, from independent
media, from people who were at the event describing what went on.
Okay, folks, we're having trouble with Mike Wilkerson's audio, so we're going to invite him back on tomorrow to continue this conversation and if not tomorrow later in the week because they're having crowdstrike internet issues in France where he's currently located.
So fortunately, we have Waiting in the Wings my next guest. Her name is Caitlin Sinclair.
She's a political commentator.
She's right now serving as spokesperson for turning point action.
Have you heard a turning point?
Have you heard of my friend Charlie Kirk?
Because if you haven't, you haven't been listening to me because I go on and on and on about how great turning point is and the work they're doing.
As you know, they helped us make the documentary of my book, Letter to the American Church.
By the way, this is a good opportunity for me to remind you.
If you have not seen that yet, please, please see it.
Go to letter to the Americanchurch.com.
If you haven't read the book, please go to the Americanchurch.
com.
The sequel is religionless Christianity.
We are living through madness right now.
And it is principally because the church in America, much of the church has not gotten
the memo that we're supposed to be involved politically.
Anyway, so speaking of turning.
Point this weekend. I'm flying down to Florida to be part of a Turning Point Believers
Summit. I will be speaking and I thought it would be fun to have Caitlin Sinclair on to talk about
that and other things. Caitlin Sinclair, welcome to the program. Thanks for having me. There might be
some sort of grid situation that goes down here too. So hopefully that doesn't happen, but you
never know. Yeah. Hopefully everything doesn't melt down back to like 1970. You know what? I would
like that, actually. I have to say, I just have to say, I'd be, like, thrilled if we went back to
like 1972 technology who would slow everything down. But I don't think that's going to happen.
In any event, so you are in New York. I am usually in New York. I happen to be in Connecticut
today. But tell us your story and how did you get involved with TPSA? Oh, wow. I might need my
own episode for that, my friend. But the long story short, I got involved into politics and as a
journalists because I have a personal story that happened to me. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune
condition when I was in college and that kind of thrusted me into the world of dealing with the
corrupt medical community with big pharma and big food at such a young age realizing how corrupt
all of these bigs are. Right. And I got forwarded into a documentary film project kind of highlighting all
of that highlighting autoimmune conditions, which as most of your listeners probably know are
on the rise in this country, especially for young people. And it kind of just made me fall in love
with the art of storytelling. So I quickly switched my major from free law to journalism. And I got
into this political world at such a colorful time when all of my mentors were telling me,
it's never been like this, I promise.
And that was back in 2015 when I was still a college student.
And I was very heavily involved.
I got a highly coveted internship at CNN at the time.
And there was no way to be in this world and not have a political take on things.
So I got into politics kind of by accident.
But there was no option to go into news and not have strong opinions.
and I am so happy that, honestly, that I did.
So here I am.
I'm a born and raised New Yorker, fifth generation.
So unfortunately or fortunately, I don't know how people looking at it anymore,
but I am still based out of New York for now.
I'll be spending a lot of time in Arizona with Charlie and the team.
And I was a reporter with One American News
of the past five years.
A few months ago, I had to make a change.
And what better time to be involved?
with my generation, the millennials, and the younger generation coming up behind me,
who are so lost right now.
We have been one of the most apathetic groups out there, but that is no longer the case, right?
So I really wanted to be a voice for my generation and for the young generations and kind
of take a different role than New York City-based correspondent.
So this is a different role for me as a spokeswoman for a turning point action, but I'm so
happy to be a part of this team that is doing such incredible work on the ground and really
inspiring that young generation.
I want to talk about turning point action.
But before that, I want to make sure we do a commercial for the Turning Point Believers
Summit.
Can you, do you have any details on that?
Or maybe I have the details and I haven't looked.
Well, it's going to be an event like no other because what a good time to remind this
country, what our core values and principles should be, right?
We right now are facing a crisis.
where we have a lack of faith.
We have a lack of God as a centerpiece in society, in schools,
and we have such a lack of love of country.
And that is really affecting the young generation that I'm talking about.
The generation coming up behind me, which is Gen Z,
let's remind your listeners here,
they've been growing up in a country
where they get to hear about how great this country used to be.
They get to hear about the pride and patriotism that this country was founded on
and where God used to exist as a center.
piece. And they are longing for those principles once again. So that's kind of what this event is about,
just reminding Americans what this country was founded on, how we can all come together again
with our love of faith and love of God. And this event is part of our Turning Point USA,
which is our C3 organization. So I'm on the C4 side. But Turning Point Action will be on the ground,
registering young voters, registering activists, and of course doing all of our initiatives as far as
chasing ballot. So we'll be there as well. Well, I'm excited to be there. I've done so many
turning point events over the last couple of years. And I have to tell you, Caitlin, it gives me
great hope to know that Charlie and Turning Point are activating young people because we're,
you know, the nation is, we're in grave danger of losing everything that we've had over the last
centuries. I mean, we are losing, in fact, we are losing it apart from, you know, those of us who are
fighting to get it back. But we've effectively lost it and we're fighting to get it back.
One of the things, I don't know if we have time in this second, I went to talk about it,
but I know that every time I hear Charlie talk about, you know, turning point action,
it has to do with understanding that, you know, the last election was stolen. And if we don't get
serious about ballot harvesting, about all that kind of stuff, we can win and still lose,
just as we did in 2020, that we have to be on our game. So when we come back, I want to ask you
about that. And folks, as you know, I keep saying this. If you haven't seen Letter to the American
Church, just go to the website, letter to the Americanchurch.com. Your church can do a screening.
It's a very nominal fee. And the whole church,
can watch it. Please take this seriously. We've got to get involved. It's letter to the American

Folks, welcome back.
I'm talking to Caitlin Sinclair, who's with Turning Point Action.
So tell us, Caitlin, what's the difference between Turning Point Action and TPSA, TPSA Faith?
I mean, what is Turning Point Action specifically doing?
And why is it called Turning Point Action?
Well, we are taking action. Turning point action is the 501C4, so versus Turning Point USA, which is our 501C3. The C3 side of things, they aren't really allowed to endorse candidates and speak openly on political issues like we are, thankfully, on the C4 side. And then Turning Point Faith is one of our coalition. So for all your viewers and listeners out there, we have so many coalitions. The Faith Coalition is just one of our coalition. So for all your viewers and listeners out there, we have so many coalitions. The Faith Coalition is just,
one of them, but we have something for everyone. So we have a mom's coalition, guys, we have a
black America coalition, a farmer's coalition. So there is really something for everyone as far as
getting involved. And then over on the turning point action side, we absolutely are boots on the
ground taking action. And it has been such an incredible experience so far to really meet these
everyday patriots. Let me tell you that really want to take this country back. We are hiring full time
on the C4 side in states like Arizona, Wisconsin.
We're expanding to Nevada, to North Carolina, to Georgia.
We're really expanding our efforts so everybody can get involved.
And I am talking boots on the groundwork, old school door knocking, registering voters,
recruiting activists, and then absolutely chasing those ballots.
As you mentioned before the commercial, this is what it's all about, right?
We can complain.
We can have talks every single day about our voting machines and how the election.
was rigged, but we will not win another election unless we're actually making sure we get that
piece of paper in the ballot box. So that's exactly what we're doing. And like I said, it's these
everyday patriots that are so fired up that want to have a voice, they want to have an active role.
And what we talk about is encouraging people to own their communities, right, to have these hard
conversations, to target low propensity voters. That's what TPA action is all about. What do I mean by
low propensity voters? So that's a voter that maybe has few people.
felt disenfranchised, right?
Low propensity voters across this country right now when you look at the polls, a large percentage
of low propensity voters are actually Donald Trump supporters.
So what does that mean?
That means that we have Donald Trump supporters that just don't feel encouraged to get out the vote.
So that is what our amazing, incredible activists are there to do.
Have these conversations in their community.
Make sure that everyone knows how to be registered to vote.
And then follow up making sure they're actually getting out on election.
Day early voting. And these activists are really well trained by my amazing team. So again,
it's boots on the ground work. We can complain about elections. We can complain about the voting
machines after just make sure that you're actually getting out to vote for. So that's what
we're all about. And then our coalitions, like I said, you can go to coalitions.com to find out
more. There is something out there for everyone. Plan your vacations before November.
If we're not in your state yet, this is a time to get involved, people.
I have to say that this is, you know, this is exciting to me because I wrote a book called If You Can Keep It, which is about America. It's about why, you know, when Benjamin Franklin was leaving the Constitutional Convention in 1787, he was asked, and this is kind of crazy because it was an offhanded question that happened to be overheard by someone who recorded it. Otherwise, we wouldn't even know about it. But he was asked the famous question, what have you given us, Dr. Franklin, a monarchy or a republic.
because people didn't know whether self-government could really work.
It had never happened in the history of the world ever before.
So in the Constitutional Convention, were they able to pull it off?
We didn't know.
So Mrs. Powell, Philadelphia asks Franklin, what have he given us, Dr. Franklin, a monarchy or
Republican?
And you can imagine him saying, listen, we tried, didn't quite work.
So we're going to have sort of a soft monarchy.
It's going to have more checks and balances.
We're not going to have a tyrant like King George.
But it's not a republic.
But he said a republic when she was at when he asked the question.
What did you give him to Dr. Franklin and Monica your public?
A republic, madam, if you can keep it.
And that to me is the point is that we the people have to keep the republic.
We can't just sit on our hands.
If you sit in your hands and do nothing, you will be governed from above.
A bureaucracy will govern you.
Someone will govern you.
If you want to govern yourself, it's going to take some work.
And you have to be happy that you get to put in a.
little work in order to govern yourself. It's just an amazing thing. So what you're talking about,
Caitlin, is exactly that. Is that to keep the republic, we've got to do stuff, not just vote. We've got to
be activated. We've got to get involved. And so, you know, you're talking about involving a whole
generation of young people. Again, this gives me tremendous hope for the future, because this is a very
bleak time. If we save the Republic by winning this election, by the way, if we win this election,
that's only the beginning, right? We've got to fight and fight, fight, fight, fight.
It goes on and on and on and on.
But if we do that, we have the possibility of a glorious future.
But right now, we have to get serious.
So let me just ask you, because we just got a minute here,
if people want to get involved in helping TP, a turning point action, what can they do?
How can they contact you?
How can they contact attorney point action to get involved locally?
Yeah, so the best way is just to download our app, which is the turning point action
Act and actually we have some really cool features on there where there's maps, right?
The map show you your area.
Who is not registered to vote?
Who has gotten out in the last two elections?
In the last four years, who's gotten out the most?
Again, those propensity voters.
We have really easy access.
If you can't join full-time as a worker, as an activist, postcards, there's making phone calls.
And that's all on our app on the ways to get involved.
coalitions again we're growing our coalitions we have so many something for everybody just go to
coalitions.com we own that domain and our website's super fun and really easy to navigate so again
there's something in for everyone if you want to contact me it's just kaitland at tpa.com or you can

at TPA.com. Thank you for being my guest. Thank you so much.
Well, my daddy left home when I was three and they didn't leave much.
Tomorrow and me, just this old guitar.
Hey, the folks. Welcome back. In a second, we're speaking to Chris Stagal of the Herzog Foundation.
I rave about them daily on this program, and I'm excited about that. But we just got word.
My producer, Chris Himes, just said that. Oh, what's your face? The head of the
Secret Service just resigned. Now, in a civilized world, she would commit Harakiri. That's what they
do in a civilized world. If you perform that badly, you know, you perform Harakiri. But she's resigned.
So close enough. Unbelievable. And I just got word also that tomorrow President Biden is going to
address the nation. Aren't we excited? Let's talk about something way more exciting. Christian
education, Chris Segal, Hertzac Foundation, welcome back.
Eric, thank you for having me.
I got to tell you, every day is like seven or eight news cycles now, isn't it?
It's just insanity.
It's depressing, but it's also, it's so depressing that it's forcing people to do something
to take action.
And, you know, it's one of the things that I say over and over and over again.
I just said it talking to my previous guest, that we are learning in America that to be
free is actually requires something of us. If you want to be governed from above or from without or by a
deep state or by a bureaucracy or by a tyrant, you have to do nothing. They will govern you. They
will tell you how to live, what you can do, what you can't do. If you want to govern yourself,
if you want to be free, you have to do some stuff. And it's well worth doing. But one of those things is
homeschooling, getting involved in what our kids are learning. That's one thing that I exhort people
over and over and over again. And now I always
mention the Hurtzach Foundation now that I know
of your existence. So I was
reading something about your efforts
with regard to Title IX.
Tell my audience about that.
Yeah, we, like you say, if you take your
foot off the gas pedal or you stop your focus on
bureaucrats, much like in Washington,
D.C., the same is true of your local school
governments and school boards
and school districts. And, you know,
I will confess that my wife
and I for years and years were similar. We
weren't paying very close attention. And it's why when we ended up doing our own show for the Herzog
Foundation called Making the Leap to encourage people to get into Christian education and homeschool,
if that's what they see fit to do, it's something that I hope everyone will consider as we get
closer and closer to the fall and people are getting back to that traditional mindset of putting
kids on the bus. We're asking you, stop, don't. Think it over, you know. And this Title IX stuff,
Eric, is one of those things. You know, we're bringing in Riley Gaines to our foundation tomorrow,
as a matter of fact. And you know her. Everyone knows her story. She's become a champion on this issue
and the Independent Women's Forum have as well. And we've been interviewing them and talking with
them about their efforts to protect Title IX. We're in a weird place now. As you know,
I mean, and I'm going to find this fascinating to watch the political scene play out now with
Kamala Harris as the top of the Democrats ticket. How will she explain to the women and girls that
she's going to try to appeal to, I presume, this fall? How is she going to explain
her administration's policies to effectively codify men pretending to be women and competing
against our women and girls and being allowed into their spaces, locker rooms and changing
areas and other things. That's going to be quite a pretzel to see her twist herself into.
And so here at the Foundation, we've created some petitions that we hope that you'll sign
and you can find all of it at HerzogFoundation.com.
So what is the situation with Title IX? I mean, it's so fascinating to me to see, in a sense, you see the Marxist secular left eating itself, destroying itself, cannibalizing itself. I mean, here you have for years people standing up for women's rights, but this kind of then morphs into something that ends up being against women. I mean, it's absolutely bizarre. The Title IX stuff, I mean,
Where is the Biden administration on that right now?
I'm not really clear how they have exercised their beliefs on this.
Very specifically, they are trying to codify into law that any institution that receives federal funds must accept men, biological males,
pretending to be women, into competitive sports teams, as well as in many cases, living arrangements.
again, locker rooms and those other facilities.
They're suggesting federal funds
tie you to,
written into Title IX, tie you to obeying
the federal government. Back to what you said.
When you're not paying attention to what they're doing,
they're now effectively telling women.
I mean, Title IX created obviously to protect women
and create spaces for women to compete in their own sports.
And today we've now said,
men make the best women
and codified it in their own law
to say that men can now pretend
to be them. And if you don't allow that to happen, federal funding will be stripped of you.
That's effectively what the Biden administration has done. I mean, I guess part of what horrifies me
is how people seem to take this kind of stuff lying down. I mean, you know, it's somebody like
somebody's spitting in your face. So what will it take for people to stand up? I mean,
If your family is being raped or murdered, you wouldn't just say, oh, well, you would do something.
But you kind of walk backwards, and we're at a place where I'm astonished that there are people who have girls in school who are being forced to compete with men.
And I think to myself, that crosses a hundred lines.
Surely men and women, mothers and fathers are going to stand up and rage against this lunacy.
And many of them aren't.
And so, folks, if you care about this, you need to make your voice heard.
And so now I know at the Herzog Foundation, you've put up a website, protectgorsports.org.
Is that right, Chris?
That's right.
That's right.
Protect girlsports.org.
Protect girlsports.
So if people go there, what will they find?
Yeah, you can find very simply just your statement of approval that you want to,
as we say, protect women's sports that you don't believe men make the best women,
and we want to keep Title IX intact for the women and girls that was meant to protect.
And so signing that petition helps us to collect your information and send it on to our elected leaders to say
you stand with those protections for Title IX and women and girls.
Very simply, it's just to show your support.
So if you can go to that website, that would be extraordinarily helpful to our cause and let our voices be heard, Eric.
Well, people always ask me, what can I do?
Here's another thing you can do, folks.
It's not a big deal.
Go to protectg girlsports.org.
Protectgorsports.org.
There's no apostrophe.
Protect girlsports.
org. Sign it.
Share it on social media.
We have got to restore common sense.
We've got to fight against the madness.
That's something you can do.
ProtectGersports.org.
We'll be right back talking more with Chris Stagall of the Herzog Foundation.
Folks, welcome back.
We're talking to our friend Chris deGal of the Herzogtzog Foundation.
I daily rave about them, herdsog foundation.com.
Okay, so we're talking, Chris, about Title IX.
And I read in the notes that you all sent that take back Title IX, that they're buses,
that's a take back Title IX?
What is that?
This is really exciting, actually.
And I mentioned Riley Gaines in the previous segment.
You know, she is spearheading this with the independent women's form,
and we've been happy to partner with them.
They have been going city to city all over the country,
a cadre of women who either come from the competitive sports,
you know, collegiate sports like Riley,
but also, interestingly, and Eric, you've seen this probably.
People like Martina Navrilova, of all people,
who no friend to conservatives, certainly not a Republican voter by any means, but on this particular
issue, I believe this will play a massive part in the discussion this fall in who may win the
presidency, simply because there are so many women, including women who are considered left-of-center
traditionally, who say on this one, it's too far. And the Biden administration has gone too far
in allowing legal protection, legal guarantees for men, biological men and males to
be, to pretend to be women and girls. So it's made for a lot of strange bedfellows, and they have
created a bus tour. City by city, they've crisscrossed the country, and they've stopped and
held rallies to draw attention to this very cause that we're talking about. And Riley, like I said,
she makes a stop here tomorrow evening. And if people are interested in watching my live conversation
with Riley, we're going to be live streaming that on our website and our social media. You can find all
that at Herzog Foundation.com. But we're going to have about five, six,
people here at our facility, and we're going to host her and have a robust talk about this.
She is a firecracker on the issue, as you know.
And where's your facility? I always forget where people are.
We're here in America's heartland. We're in a suburb, just a little north of Kansas City, Missouri.
Kansas City, Missouri. Okay, yeah, that's the heartland.
It's so fascinating to me, is this, you know, since Herzlite Foundation cares about bringing
a real, you know, Christ-centered education. I guess my question is what the Biden administration,
the Biden Harris administration, is proposing, will it make it mandatory for Christian schools
to go along with this lunacy as well? Is that the idea? It's a big, big topic. And it is what
our friends in homeschool are deeply concerned about. You know, Eric, when we talk about
getting our kids out of public school, one of the healthy, and I appreciate the debate,
amongst those in Christian education as well as homeschool is, homeschoolers say, look, when you
talk about school choice and maybe allocating these state dollars back to us to educate our
kids as we see fit, the concern amongst many homeschoolers is that's going to come with ties.
And I understand the concern there. I do.
But my general pushback on that would simply be that already exists at present with our churches, as you will know, Eric.
I mean, churches enjoy a tax-exempt status that could the state revoke? Perhaps.
I mean, even my pastor says from time to time, Eric, he believes he may well live to see a day where it'll be illegal to preach the gospel from the pulpit or talk about, yes, God created men and God created women.
that that may be considered hate speech someday.
So we're in a perilous place, no doubt about it,
and it is something that we watch closely at our news site, reedlion.com.
We cover stories like this all the time.
But your state legislatures, wherever you live, Eric,
they're the guardians of this thing.
Federalism is where this issue must reside.
And so our state legislators and our governors
really have to take the lead in protecting not just girls' sports,
but homeschoolers and Christian schools from never going down this awful path.
Well, it's lunacy, but the good news is that folks like you are doing something about it.
Ladies and gentlemen, we've all got to do our part. We must.
So please go to Herzog Foundation.com and go to readlion.com, readlion.com.
And I mentioned the website as well, protect girlsports.org.
Chris, thank you.
Thanks for your friendship, Eric, as always.
Thank you.
