And my daughter and I, we have to repair a breach from 11 years ago. 11 years ago, I will never forget it. We got up early. We were staying at the Arctic Club Hotel.

That's where we're going to be staying. We got up early, and we decided take a walk. Let's take a walk. So my daughter was what? I don't know, 12, 11. We decided take a walk to Pike's Market. We go there. And we're walking around, walking around, walking around.

You know, she's still a kid. She's not a kid anymore. We find this magical donut-making machine. It's a machine that makes like these little donuts. And they were so magical. Like you watch that the dough goes into this thing, and it's on a little conveyor belt. I thought, this is the coolest thing.

This is the coolest thing. And of course, my daughter's like, oh, I want a donut. I want to do it. I was like, come on. We're not doing donuts here. Like we're not going to come on. You know, I was that kind of a father, you know, just always no, no, no, no, no, no. Well, five minutes later, I thought, you know what, for crying out loud.

Let's get a donut. So we go back, we go to the machine, right? And she's now thrilled. Yeah. Because these don't, when you look at the, I'm going to do a videotape of this to put on Instagram and on Twitter. So people can see this little machine, right? So we go back to buy the donuts, and what happens? I realize now we're about a mile from the hotel.

I forgot my wallet. Crushing moment. Crushing moment. As a father, my daughter was crushed. She's never trusted me since that day. It was so, I was like, no, I did not have a dime. So I took a picture of her disappointed face, and we walked back to the hotel. And I said all these years later, perhaps we can repair this breach, this wound, this psychic wound that has messed us both up.

So I believe tomorrow that's what we're going to do. And if we do it, I will post it on social media. We can talk about it on this program. I guess, oh, I also want to remind, since we're yammering here, I want to remind people that my book, Fish Out of Water, which is the story of my life up until my 25th birthday. it's out in paperback. And there's one story I cannot remember if the story is in there or not. Yeah, and I can't either because I read the book.

But the story... I think I heard this. I think I put every story in the book, fish out of water. It's my story of my life, search for the meeting life. But there's one event that happened, and I'm going to have to go look

and see if it's in the book. Because every other story, every funny story is in the book. But we were in the Bradley's parking lot. The Bradley's parking lot is in my book. I don't want to get into that. But the Bradley's incident, it's a shameful moment

from when I was. just turned nine. But the one day when I was I don't know about 10 years old with my dad and my brother, my dad sees a crushed eight track tape. It's like a car had run over it or something like that

or something, but it was busted. My father being, you know, a child of World War II, he would never let anything. Of course he picks it up, takes it home, and using tape repairs it. And so my brother and I play it,

what is it, we're like literally like nine and ten years old. It was a Cheech and Chong comedy album on an eight track tape. So it's like wall-to-wall drug humor. We memorized the skits. It's big bamboo. It was one of their famous albums from like about 1972. It's wall-to-wall drug humor. And my father's like, yeah, here, here.

And we listened to it. We don't even understand it. We didn't understand it. It was all drug humor. And I just remember there was like, you know, it was like a let's make a deal. But the skit was called Let's Make a Dope Deal. And my brother and I memorized,

if my father had only known what he's giving his kids, like, here, you know, if you want to listen to it, I don't know what it is. You know, my father was not really culturally tuned in. But the book is loaded with stories of, you know, my dad being kind of out of touch. And so today it reads as hilarious comedy. But I still can't believe,

I still have memorized. the Cheech and Chong, you know, it's like, let's make a dope deal behind door number one, number two, I picked door number three. Uh-oh, it's Officer O'Malley of the NARC squad. You're busted. You know, like it was constant. It was drug humor. So anyway, I don't know, I think that's got to be in the book.

Check it out. Folks, welcome back. I continue my conversation from yesterday with Michael Wilkerson. He's the author of Why America Matters, the case for a new exceptionalism. Why America Matters is the book. And you can find him at stormwall.com. Mike, we are, we're talking about scary stuff. The globalists, the people at Davos, Bill Gates, they have all revealed themselves with the advent of, you know, the COVID pandemic, scamdemic, whatever you want to call it.

We are in a new world where the forces of evil have revealed themselves to be evil, at least that's my short version. They have revealed themselves to be at war with American values, biblical values. This is all new. And so it's helpful in that it's clarifying. And we said this, that lots of people have woken up and are waking up day by day who were formally sleepwalking, drifting along with the narrative. But things got so bad that tons and tons of people are waking up, to this dramatic threat. So what are your views of what is the threat and what do we do about it?

Well, let's talk about what is globalism. I think it's important to understand that this is the idea that, well, first of all, anyone who's a globalist believes not in the world that you just described, a world of Judeo-Christian values, a world in which there is a God, but a world that is mechanistic,

that it's just running on its own. And therefore, the only way to solve these great problems that the world is about to face, whether it be their view of the climate change apocalypse as sort of the main objective or other issues facing the world, is to impose a technocratic solution that only the smartest people and the most powerful people on Earth can come up with. So by definition, they are anti-democratic because they don't believe that, you know, the collective, the masses like you and me can actually get to the right decisions that need to be made. They don't believe in America.

I want to be really clear. What we have taken to be America for 200 plus years, they are against it. This is very dramatic. It needs to be clear. They do not believe in the American vision. And because we haven't been teaching the American vision, because of this creeping, in a sense, leftist view over the last 50 years, many Americans are themselves unfamiliar with the American vision and therefore can't defend it and can't see when it's being attacked.

They don't believe in America because in a sense that they don't believe in democracy. They don't believe in the nation state that it actually should be there. They think that both of those are an impediment to progress, an impediment to getting to where they need to go. And they certainly do not believe in the individual liberties that are described in the Declaration or Constitution, things like this idea that we have an alienable rights given from God that cannot be taken away by any king, by any sovereign,

by any government, by any bureaucracy. All of that has to be pushed aside. The latest manifestation of this has been with the initiatives that are going on in the World Health Organization, even today, to basically grant this transnational, undemocratic organization powers that in a health emergency, which would mean whatever the director general decides as a health emergency, to impose rules and enforcements that are binding on the nations. And this could be around again lockdowns, vaccines, biometric scanning, monitoring, all of the totalitarian evils that we saw emerge from the

Chinese model that was imposed even in America in 2020, these kinds of supranational organizations are advocating for this. And as you said it quite well, this is inimical to the American ideal. Look, if Kim Jong-un launched a warhead and took out Los Angeles, we would see that very very very clearly as an attack on America, an existential threat, it would be very clear. This is the same thing done in a way so that most people won't notice it. This is the destruction of America. It's the destruction of American lives for sure. It's the destruction of everything we have held dear that patriots have died for over the centuries.

this is inimical to all of that, and our leaders, our elites, are working for the dark side. This is very hard to process, and there are many people, including, particularly in the Christian community, that are foolishly ignorant of this. This is happening right now. It's been happening for some time. What you just said with the WHO, I mean, it is amazing to me. Previous Americans would have said, are you out of your mind? this is the United States of America. We're not going to let some foreign people dictate anything with regard to us. You stay away.

This is America. We're from sea to shining sea. Leave us alone to manage our own affairs. The idea that we would open the door for Chinese communists and globalists to begin telling us how to run things, it's astonishing. The sovereignty of the American people is what's standing in the way of these forces having their sway. They believe in three other ideas. that we've talked about, can't talk about,

which is this idea of open markets, that America's markets should just be open to anything from anywhere that we shouldn't have any kind of trade barriers in our own interest, open borders, meaning that you should just allow migration to happen, it's inevitable, all sorts of reasons, all sorts of excuses, that, of course, are diluting,

diluting the nation state, diluting the idea of America, hurting the economy, hurting workers, hurting communities, all these things. But I just want to be clear, When you're diluting these, diluting what is America, what you're effectively doing, I'd want to be clear, is you're saying we don't have American values. We have no values. Therefore, slavery, we're fine with slavery.

Murdering political prisoners, we're fine with murdering political prisoners. Sex trafficking, sex trafficking of children. We're going to shrug at that. We no longer are asserting the values that we have held dear for decades and centuries, and we are allowing these deeply wicked ideas slowly to take us over from within. And, Michael, people on our side, we thought, like the Biden administration, like pretty much everybody in the Democratic Party and many in the Republican Party, they are complicit with the destruction of America as we have known her.

That's absolutely right. These forces are aligned with the globalist movement against American values. That group does not believe that Americans have anything to say about how the country should be run. In fact, it would be better if they just shut up and went back home, that they weren't active or resisting or challenging any of these issues. And that's why you see this great rise in censorship of all sorts of conservative voices. You've experienced it. All sorts of people have experienced it.

You know, the third premise of this globalism is this idea of open minds. And what they mean by that is not that everybody gets to express their own views. But as Carl Popper famously said in the open society and its enemies, that we have to be intolerant. Tolerance means that we have to be intolerant or the tolerant. We cannot let people who don't agree with this idea of liberalism, the open borders, open society. That's the one thing we can't be tolerant of. Everything else is fine. Well, so it's the death of free speech.

It's the death of freedom of religion. It's the death of freedom. And we have been so blessed in this country. I say this everywhere around the country where I speak, that we've been so blessed that we have completely forgotten how extraordinary it is that we have had these freedoms, that people have died for these freedoms, freedom of speech sacrosanct.

Suddenly, we're at a point where the left is a, against freedom of speech. I mean, the freedom of speech movement was in Berkeley. It's, it's, it's just so dramatic. I understand why it's hard for people to process, because this is just, it's crazy stuff. It's really evil and crazy. The polls have turned. The axes have shifted. Right. Where now it is, are the conservatives who are saying, we have a right to freedom of speech, the liberals are now saying, be quiet. It's, it's just dramatic. Well, I, I want to, I want you to continue to kind of sketch out. what we're facing.

But it's really the death of everything we've known. And as you said, and I've been saying, if you don't try to understand this and process it and then work against it, fight against it, you're part of the problem. And there are many people, I particularly speak to my fellow Christians who are turning a blind eye to evil.

It is evil. It'd be like turning a blind eye to the murdering of the unborn. it would be like turning a blind eye to chattel slavery. If you turn a blind eye to that and you say, oh, these are not gospel-related issues, we just want to stick to our little theological thing. You're complicit in the evil. It's a terrible thing to see happening. They're absolutely related.

What we're seeing here is the undermining of not just our political freedoms or religious freedoms, our monetary freedoms, our financial freedoms. This is a multi-pronged attack. And it is coordinated in the sense that, This is an objective of the ruling class in this country, but around the world, as we talked about it, loosely termed globalism. And it has never been more important, more imperative than it is today for Americans to understand it, being aware of it is the first step always, and to begin to resist it. I'm encouraged this year in seeing a change in the House of Representatives and leadership with the Republicans in power that they are beginning to push back and challenge some of these narratives and some of these issues. Talk more about that.

Well, yeah, we were talking about all the threats that globalism and some of these forces were bringing on us, whether it be freedom of speech, religious freedom. and I mentioned that it also impacts America's financial freedom. So what I meant by that is let's talk about money for a second. And this is where your eyes can glaze over if you'd like. But I want you to imagine a triangle in your mind. Okay, the base of the triangle is the current monetary system, what we call the Fiat monetary system, the U.S. dollar, it's dominant around the world,

when the U.S. needs to do something, it raises debt, issues money. Well, the problem with that is there's so much debt now that we're seeing this inflation happening. So the system almost broke in the global financial crisis. Out of the global financial crisis came this new innovation or series of innovations around cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin and otherwise. Those were developed to protect against a perceived weakness in the U.S. dollar system by providing a way to get out of the U.S. dollar into a hard money currency that wouldn't be subject to inflation and would be outside of the surveillance state that we were talking about. A hard money currency. Yeah.

So why wouldn't we just come? go back to gold. That is an option. There are reasons for it. There are reasons against it. It doesn't look like it's going to happen. It really does constrain governments in a lot of ways. That could be in this corner as well. So imagine my first corner is our current system. Let's go to the other corner. Your right hand corner would be hard money, individual control, gold, Bitcoin, something like that. It's private. You own it. You keep it. You keep your gold and you're safe. Your Bitcoin and your in your crypto wallet, whatever. It's your money.

It'll be safe in your crypto wallet. No one can hack it, by the way. Okay. Please continue. Second corner. Now, the old world, the Fiat world is failing. It's failing across the globe. We're seeing inflation.

We're seeing debt way out of proportion to our economic power. The world is indebted. At some point, it is going to break. It'll happen this way, gradually and then suddenly, as the joke goes. So the whole world of hard money advocates, crypto, gold, they're looking for a way out, somewhere to preserve and protect value, but also to protect their privacy. Because we've noticed in the last couple years how banks are shutting down conservative voices, seizing assets. This is the big issue. If I have cash in my wallet

or I have gold in my safe, it's mine, it's nobody's business. I can do with it what I like. Once you, I don't know, how you put it, once I store my money, Is it money, whatever it is, someplace digitally, it strikes me now that there can be powerful people who can control the flow of it, who can force me to behave this way and not that way. I mean, it really sounds to a Christian like me like some kind of sick end-time scenario right out of the book of Revelation. There's buying and selling and they're going to control. If you don't play ball, you can't buy or sell. unless you, it's really dramatically dark stuff we're talking about, at least in my mind. So now you're describing the third corner of our imaginary triangle.

So bottom one, bottom corner is the old world, the fiat world we've been living in. Right hand corner is this world of hard money and self-sovereignty. So cash, gold, bitcoin, et cetera. Government doesn't issue cash, but gold, crypto, they don't issue it. Now, you're raising a point of the third corner. Let's call this surveillance currency or CCP currency. This is what we're seeing emerge, this central bank digital coin, where the government issues directly to you and me, retail people, this digital coin. It's kind of like a Bitcoin, the same idea that it's a cryptocurrency, except that it's one issued by the government.

The government monitors and maintains that the ledger that keeps account of everything. What does that mean that the government itself can see every transaction that, you make, everything you buy, every political contribution, every firearm, everything that goes on. So one, the evil of this corner of the surveillance currency, the CCP coin idea, is that. That it is total surveillance of every single transaction. The second is that with that surveillance gives the government the ability to control. Okay. And so this is, let's be clear, this is the absolute death of freedom.

This is the end. of American liberty, these ideals for which many patriots have bled and died, this would spell the absolute death of that. There's no equivocation on that. That's right. Whoever is in power, and we're seeing this in China already, would have the ability, with surveillance comes the ability to control. With control comes the ability to modify behavior. If you can be rewarded for good behavior, whatever the regime tells you is good behavior, and penalized, punished for bad behavior, whatever that might mean, which could include supporting the wrong political party, expressing a view on social media, heaven forbid, buying a firearm. All of those things,

all of a sudden can be punished, and it can be punished by everything from not giving you certain beneficial rewards in a world of UBI, universal basic income, pulling some of that back, all the way to confiscating your assets or closing down your ability to access the system, which would view completely outside of the economic system, which was the danger you said just a minute again. And we've already been seeing this. I mean, we saw that, what is it, give and go, I always get them mixed up, that. Go fund me? Well, go fund me. And then give and go, yes. Well, give and go is the good guys. Yeah. Go fund me. I mean. They shut off. I mean, basically, the Canadian truckers. They are using, yeah, these freedom movements, the Canadian truck.

and stuff. So this has already happened. And so we've got to do absolutely everything we can to maintain freedom and control. It's extraordinary that we're facing these things. the rise of a one world government inevitably led by what we cheerfully call the Antichrist and the Beast. I don't see, I mean, it's an amazing thing suddenly to be at a place where I can conceive of all that happening in no time. In the last two years, two and a half years, we've seen things change that are incredibly dramatic and that are inescapable. I mean, listen, when you have,

for example, on the West Coast, the government saying, we can take your kids away from you. If your eight-year-old says, you say I'm a boy, but I say I'm a girl, and if you don't like it, I'm going to run into the arms of the government. That's out of the pit of hell. That is as un-American and unconstitutional as anything imaginable. That kind of thing is now happening. So the government has become increasingly authoritarian. at the same time that it is increasingly hostile to American values, to biblical values.

This is eerily reminiscent to what we saw happen, and you've written about what happened in Germany, but also in Stalinist Russia. I just finished rereading Gulag Archipelago, Alexander Solzhenitsyn's epic about life in prison, life in Soviet Russia, in Stalinist Russia. and the arbitrariness of the arrests, of the silencing, of taking whole families. People imagine that this cannot happen here. Well, if they imagine it, most people aren't even aware of it anymore. They stop reading about it, and this is the dangers that we're losing the insight into things that just happened less than a century ago.

Millions and millions of people silenced, tortured, detained, killed, their memories are gone. It's up to people like you, writing as you do and having the show to make sure. that it is not lost in this generation. I wanted to comment. One thing about you, you mentioned the Antichrist, and it's always been, of course, this is an obscure passage in Revelation, try to understand it. It's interesting.

A lot of Christians imagine this as a human being, a man. I had a thought a couple years ago suddenly, with everything that we're seeing around artificial intelligence, that, in a way, isn't the Antichrist, the AI, this thing that gets out of control that is a superintelligence as opposed to an individual. I'm just throwing out an idea. I don't know whether it's true or not.

But the point is it can never be conscious. That's another story. But to have the power to implement a world system using, as you said, not conscious, but an intelligence, I think is something that is concerning. Well, I'm pretty sure if you do your eschatological homework, that there's a pretty good chance that the Antichrist is Denny Terrio, who was the head of Dance Fever. He was the host of that some time ago.

He also is the man who taught John Travolta how to dance, and I had a hand in that, but ultimately the credit goes to Denny Terrio. All right, this is so bleak, I have to joke absurdly. We are talking about, you know, some really, really difficult stuff, but the point, Michael Wilkerson is that we are there. and unless people fight against this with all their might and main, this is where we go. Do you have hope that we can fight against this? I believe, just because you mentioned Nazi Germany, and I say in my book, Love to the American Church, if the Church will rise and stand and fight with everything it has in the way that it did not in Germany in the 30s, then there's hope.

If the Church does not, then there is no hope. I'm jumping out of my chair because I have a lot of hope right now. I think we are in a moment where we have a chance to actually make a turn in this giant ship we call America. I don't speak of the United States as much as I speak of America because I think right now they're operating us in two different ways. America can be saved. America can be restored to its greatness. It's going to require a bunch of things. We talked yesterday around the ideas of isolationism versus expansionism.

The other way to say that is, is America an empire or a nation? I argue we need to get back to thinking about ourselves as a nation, to protecting our borders, protecting our own people. That means abandoning the idea of globalism, that we are a sovereign nation that we the people rule. It requires we end censorship. We cancel, cancel culture. The freedom of speech really has meaning again.

The freedom of religion really has a place. That Americans relearn what inalienable rights really mean, what the rule of law really means, with a separation of powers, not just between branches, but also between the states and the federal government. The states need to take back more of their power granted to them under the 10th Amendment. We've gone the wrong direction in many ways. So we are in a moment of rejuvenation. We're in a winter.

It's dark. It's cold. It's unpleasant. But spring is coming. And Americans have an opportunity to bring this about if they wake up and get involved in the way that I know you advocate. Well, again, I think the real horror is that when people say, oh, what happened in Germany could never happen here. My argument is that our guilt will be dramatically greater than the guilt of the silent German Christians, and what will happen will be worse than what happened to Germany in the death camps.

And the problem is we've been so blessed in this country in the latter decades that we have forgotten what evil is. We act as though we kind of move past that and those bad things can't happen here. And there is evil. There is satanic evil in North Korea today. I almost don't want to talk about it because I'll get choked up and cry. The evil that is happening around the world in communist China today, this is real. And so to my mind, the only hope is for patriots and sincere Christians to wake up and to fight with everything they have. And also, we have to teach these things. It's one of the reasons your book is valuable. We have to teach what is America. What is American freedom? We have not been teaching this for 50 years. We've not, and we have a whole generation who never learned.

Never understood America's history, never understood what it meant to be a citizen of a great nation. Have a sense that patriotism is somehow bad, that to love your country is somehow an evil thing. all of this has to be corrected in the next generation going forward. It's not too late. We've got to get back into the schools. We've got to rest this radicalized woke agenda out of our educational system out of our corporations. I just wish everyone would read my book if you can keep it. They're busy reading mine.
