I am in Dallas. Chris Himes and I are in Dallas for the National Religious Broadcasters Convention. We do it every year. So we're in Dallas. And today I'm going to air, I talked about this yesterday. I had a wonderful conversation with our friend Mike Thompson, Pastor Mike Thompson. We're going to air that in hour one and hour two today. And tomorrow, there's a third part of it that we're going to air tomorrow.

The first part of tomorrow, we're going to air my conversation with Larry Taunton. What a story he tells? If you follow me on X, I've been retweeting his stuff. He was, I don't know, almost killed, murdered, disappeared in Cairo, Egypt. The Egyptian secret police, I mean, you'll hear the story tomorrow, but it's unbelievable, but it's true. So that's tomorrow. So in a couple of minutes, we've got Mike Thompson for the rest of our one and two. He has a new bookout called The Lions Army.

me. And I keep saying this. And I don't want to say it when I'm talking to Mike Thompson because I don't want to embarrass him too much. But he's an amazing man, Mike Thompson. He is someone who, now Keith Junta, I'm talking to you're here today. He, um, Mike Thompson is a very, very mature Christian. And he hears from God. And it's one of those things where I can understand there are plenty of people that are skeptical about this stuff. But when you get to know Mike, you realize this guy's not blown any smoke. This is not some charlatan. This is as humble a man of God as you'll ever meet. And he has been a deep encouragement to me. His videos, you can find him, by the way, at Word of Life Church. It's in the Las Vegas area, Word of Life Church. But he has a new book out.

We're going to be talking about that today. It's called the Lions Army. It's next level stuff. It's important stuff. So we got Mike Thompson, both hours today. and tomorrow we've got a harrowing story from Larry Taunton, and then the final segment with Mike Thompson. We record all that a couple days ago.

What else is in the news? I wanted to talk about the other day, some of you are aware that Jane Fonda, she was getting some award, and she made some comment. It was at the SAG Awards. She got a Lifetime Achievement Award. and she was talking about, and this is kind of, I have to, I want to bring this up, she's talking about woke culture as a positive thing.

Now, what this shows, and I thought this is a good kind of teaching moment, that how out of touch people are, because when she talks about, I mean, a lot of the people who are fans of woke culture, they see it as a positive thing. And they think, what's wrong with you? Why don't you think this is good? This is about lifting up the marginalized. This is about caring for people that are downtrodden and whatever. And what I would say, and Keith Jentah, I know you would say, is that that's garbage. We are all for helping downtrodden people. This is not that. But Jane Fonda, in case she wondered whether the Hollywood elites are way, way, way out of touch, she talked about this at the SAG Awards.

And I don't know, you can find it online. But it's just, it's almost comical that they're that out of touch, that they just don't seem to have any clue about the reality. And you know, Eric, if you bring this all the way back to the garden, what was the distinctive element nature of the serpent? He was cunning and he was sly and he used words and language and kind of twisted them. And it's such a powerful, powerful story because we see it all the time. And what the left has done is,

They've hijacked the lexicon. They take a word like woke, like you said, and they spin it in a way that a lot of naive people would go, oh, yeah, that, yeah, yeah, no, God didn't say we would die. We'd become like him. Like, it's this trickery that really ends up deceiving people, because you're right. At the root of woke is this, your eyes are opened. to see injustice. And once you see injustice, now we're going to bring about, you know, the, the, the, the, the remedy.

And like you said, lift the marginalized. That is not what woke. It's not what woke is. This is a, this is a demonic spirit. And you just have to look at the fruit. You just have to look at the fruit. What was the thing? Megan Basham just posted some stuff.

Yeah. about a a church, a black minister talking about we're going to have a black only worship service. Yes. And I thought, you have got to be, talk about being political

and not Christian. I mean, can you imagine Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I mean, I grew up in the Greek Orthodox Church and I think imagine if they had said, we don't want any Turks here. We don't want any Turks here. You would know then that they're fully

on board with pushing Jesus and the Bible out and just saying, we're just tribalists. We're just Greeks. We hate Turks. Yeah. Right. No, if you're a Christian, you don't have that view. If somebody loves Jesus, you love them. That's your brother in Christ.

So the idea that that is going on. But again, Wokery, the lunatic world of Wokery, they twist things and twist things. But it gets to what you were saying, that the fruit is so, it's just. It's creepy. It's ugly. And Megan, she is such. She's always been such a noble warrior in this space. And I've been praying for her every day because she is now announced to her cancer.

She's receiving chemo and it's just awful. And in the midst of that, she is still on Twitter being quite the brave heart. And she's taking unbelievable abuse, personal insults and abuse because she stood up. I don't remember the guy's name was it. I can't remember the pastor's name who is advocating for this all black only worship service. And they are just violently going at her. It's so unseemly and it's so ugly. If you want to have an all black thing or an all white thing or whatever, it's a free

country, but just don't call it Christianity. You can't, you know what I mean? If you want to have a club and you say, well, we're made uncomfortable by those other people, okay, good for you. Just don't pretend that. that's Christian. Don't pretend that that's Christian because Christians don't do that.

these ugly areas of progressive Christianity. Because quite frankly, I see too many of my friends fully on board with this stuff. And it really, it's not that I want to argue, debate, and be right. I can't believe it. I want to

tell my audience, the book is called The Lions Army, Discover the Ways of the Spirit for the last days. The Lions Army. Now, a lot of people listening will not be familiar or they won't remember the last time you were on the program when we talked to the book Third Heaven Authority. When did your first book, Third Heaven Authority, come out, like a little bit over a year ago? Yes. Yeah, it was in 23. And so this one just came out on March, I'm sorry, February 4th. The Lions Army. Right. Okay.

So it's brand new, just out. So I want to help my audience understand where you're coming from. Folks, this is some exciting stuff. So pay close attention. This is important stuff. The first book was called Third Heaven Authority. This book is called The Lions Army. Tell my audience, remind my audience of the idea behind Third Heaven Authority.

this is a big deal, and you're very humble and modest, but this concept of Third Heaven Authority, talk about that first, and then we'll get into the new book. Sure. I think that as time goes on and I look back over the wisdom of the Lord, why he had me write these two books, Eric, is that Third Heaven Authority was a very timely book for the last four years, and it was for dealing with the things we're talking about spiritual warfare.

And then the Lions Army is for dealing with the next four years. And people would really understand that by reading the book. But when you talk about Third Heaven Authority, it's discovering how to pray from heaven's perspective looking down rather than Earth's perspective looking up. And it's all based upon a spiritual encounter that I had. and the encounter is where one day the Lord just caught me away in the spirit and he took me to third heaven and as I was in heaven he instructed me the very first thing I should tell people because this is so

life-changing for me and it would be for them is that while I was in heaven I did not feel any of the hooks the I'm talking about things on this. that we deal with just in our Christian life. And it would be things like fear and condemnation and self-judging and all of those negative kind of things we would assume that would keep us from walking in our faith and keep us from performing the Christian life in a way to where we're very effective in spiritual warfare

and advancing the kingdom. And just dealing with personal stuff in the world. And I felt, the absence of all those. It was complete love, acceptance, and value before the Lord Jesus Christ. That was life-changing for me. In fact, it was so impacting, Eric, that I stood there before the throne of the Lord Jesus Christ. And on the inside of myself, as I watched him and his love, is that I just kind of said, is this what it's like to be a new creation? Is this what it feels like? to be a child of the living God,

I've never felt complete love, acceptance, and value like that before in my life. And then he spun me around, and there was a large portal in the floor, and I walked over and I looked down the portal, and it was seen all the way down to the earth, to the struggles, to what was going on and spiritual warfare in the city I was in.

And the Lord spoke, to me and he said, launch your warfare from here. So the concept, go before we go, because this is, you're getting to the key here, but I just want to say, for a lot of people listening, this is mind-blowing stuff. And folks, as I think I would have said to you in the introduction, I know Mike Thompson, I have written forwards to each of these two books because I think this stuff is very important. but it's also important that people understand that this is biblical, what we can get into that, because a lot of people say, oh, this sounds kind of weird. Yeah, it is weird.

It doesn't happen every day, and it doesn't happen even to Mike Thompson every day. When did this happen to you what you're describing right now, roughly what year? That was in 2010. Okay. So, and I want to be clear to the audience, you're very gifted spiritually. The Lord speaks to you, but nonetheless, this. was not normal. This was something that really stunned you. Because to say I was caught up into heaven, that's just the kind of thing that happens normally. So I don't want us to, you know, kind of pretend,

oh, well, yeah, stuff happens. No, this is a big deal. It's a big deal in it. And you're described, but I've heard many people describe being in the presence of God or whatever. And they all seem to say the same thing. The peace, the love, the, you know, is not the sort of thing you experience in this world at that level. So you're, you said this, this, you're, you're looking down and the Lord speaks to you and says, launch your warfare from here. Did you understand at the time what he meant by that? Well, at first it caught me off guard because there were so many things that's kind of just like in a split second that went through my mind is like launch it from here. I've never heard such a thing. Another one is, well, if you do spiritual warfare, then according to the book of

Ephesians, you need to put on your armor. Why do I need armor in heaven? Why do we, and all these kind of just machine gun bullets, so to speak, of thoughts were just racing through me. But the Lord spoke to me and I felt him, his words coming into my back and just resounding on the inside of me and answering most of those questions, just like that. And I felt, just like I'd felt the peace before, the love acceptance and value, now I felt sheer boldness. It was authority. And I looked down, and then I felt words coming from the throne into my back, only this time, instead of just hearing them resonating on the inside of me, they came out of my mouth. I opened my mouth, and I looked down, and I looked down,

And I saw actually the demonic spirits in the atmosphere over the city. And up above those demonic spirits, there was a larger spirit. And the Lord said that that's the general. He said, from the earth's side down below, looking up, they were dealing with in the atmosphere the lower level demonic influences, things that we also. struggle with in our lives, in our cities. But up above was the larger general giving the orders. And he said, to speak to him, to rebuke him, to use the authority on him. And so I heard these words come out of my mouth with boldness. And I said, in the name of Jesus, I speak to you, you commander,

I dislodge your authority and your work against this city. And I break the communication structure between you and the lower level demons in Jesus' name. There were a few more things that I said, but you get the gist of the authority in what the Lord wanted to have done. One of the interesting things is as I spoke, there were angels that were. were in the throne room. And I would say something like I dislodge, and an angel would shoot like lightning straight down to carry forth the command and to bring it to pass. In the throne room itself, not only were there angels around, but there was the swirling mass of rainbow colors and the sounds of heaven. They were just remarkable. And the reason I say rainbow colors,

is because, you know, in Ezekiel 1, and then also we find in the revelation that both of those prophets, Ezekiel and John, talked about the rainbow that was connected with the throne of God. And so it was the essence of God. It represented it. And so as I saw all those sounds, I mean, heard all the sounds, and I saw the sight.

You can tell right now. I'm getting a little choked up, just simply because I'm re-experiencing the anointing on it. It was so remarkable, life-changing, and I had just rebuked and done spiritual warfare from heaven. And Eric, when it was all over, I stood up, and I looked, and Jesus walked over to me. and he said, Mike, he said, I want you to teach my people third heaven authority. It's the first time I'd ever heard the phrase. I didn't know what it meant, but now all of a sudden it makes sense. Third heaven authority.

And he said, it's from heaven's perspective looking down rather than from Earth's perspective looking up. And he said, go teach them. And Eric, one of the things... Actually, Mike, we're going to go to break here. we've got plenty time. Folks, as you understand, this is next level stuff. It's extraordinary. I get to have this conversation.

So, Mike, you know this. This is next level stuff.

A lot of serious Christians, you know, are not experiencing this kind of thing. And I always feel it's important to expose people to what God is saying and doing. And what you write about and talk about, I listen to your sermons and videos. This is something for many years. For many years, God has been taking you along this path. And there are a lot of people that don't get this or a lot of people are open. openly hostile to it. But as I get to you as a person, I realized there's no baloney, there's no smoke and mirrors, you're not selling yourself, you're just doing what the Lord is calling you to do,

what he's anointed you to do. And so, so you said in 2010, he gave you this absolutely astonishing vision, this experience. And he charges you with teaching this concept, which was new to you at the time you heard about this, third heaven authority. So that's what the first book is about. Is there anything else you want to say about that before we move on to the new one? Only that he said at that particular point, teach my people third heaven authority. And then he said, the veil between the spiritual and the natural realms will seemingly grow thinner. And there will be a drastic increase in spiritual encounters among my people.

And he said, I need people. who are word-based, strong in the word, strong in the spirit, who will teach them how to navigate these times. So that's one of the real purposes of the book, is to teach people how to navigate all of these things. And you know, Eric, since then, it's just been an explosion. Because, you know, I operate, I run in the circles. I have a lot of friends who operate in these kind of spiritual dynamics.

and it just is remarkable how many people are having visions and dreams and angelic encounters and being taken to third heaven those kind of things so yeah it's i mean i i think it's important to say that um or or at least this is my my take on the whole thing is that we are we're living through an extraordinary historical period. And I get the impression that the remnant of intercessors is much greater than it's been in history, in American history. I think maybe I heard you say that for the first time. I'm not sure who said it. Oh, yes, absolutely. I'm convinced. What I watch is, as I talk about numerically, I think, that the body of Christ is shifted into a spiritual warfare mode, and we particularly saw it in manifestation during the last four years,

the darkness, the overreach of government, the idolatry, the list goes on and on, just the darkness that was in the world and came into America. And it really caused a lot of people. That's one of the things that, you know, some of the things that you asked me, Eric, every time that I've been on before, is that you said, is there hope? Is there hope for America? Do you think that things are going to change? Because it looked really dark. People were freaking out, man. They were saying, is this the last day? It didn't look dark. It was dark. I mean, there's absolutely. No doubt about it. There's no doubt about it. It was it was utterly bleak. And again, you have been one of the voices that, probably the principal voice, that has given me hope because I know that when you say

something, it's not sort of. Like you're only saying what God is saying to you and you've got the track record. And you have said many times that the Lord's hand is on Donald Trump, that he's been, he's the Lord's anointed for this season. And we always have to clarify with the caveat, this doesn't mean we worship Donald Trump. This doesn't mean Donald Trump is perfect. But just as the Lord does many times in history, he puts his hand on someone and he chooses them to be a vessel. And what we're seeing right now is simply astonishing. I don't think anyone alive could have ever dreamt that we would see what we're seeing right now. I mean, I can just say, I have never seen anything that begins to compare it.

I say it makes the Reagan Revolution look like the Gerald Ford administration. It's absolutely nothing compared to what we're seeing right now. really do believe that's the result of the prayers of the saints, the intercessors. And that's part of what you're talking about. Exactly. He has raised up a mighty army, which gets into my last book, the new book, The Lions Army. What is the Lion's Army? Well, in Revelation 5-5, it describes that Jesus is the lion of the tribe of Judah. And so if Jesus, symbolically, is the lion, then his warriors, those who are born again of the spirit, new creations in Christ Jesus, and will take upon themselves the armor of God in the mantle

for doing spiritual warfare, which is the tension between the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of light in the spiritual realm, and how we advance and take, you know, territory. We take souls out of that kingdom and then perform the works of the Lord Jesus Christ, So there's a lot of things involved in spiritual warfare, but nonetheless, it's under the command of him. So we are the Lions Army. The Lions Army, I believe, and I don't want to take anything away from so many good people in America

who have also recognized how wrong all of the was with the last administration have stood up. But the Lions Army in the spiritual realm, I believe, were the impetus in allowing Donald Trump to come back. I don't have any doubt that that is true. It's been the prayers of the saints, the intercessors in this country, around the world that have enabled us to be where we are right now. We'll be right back talking to Mike Thompson. We're talking to Mike Thompson, Pastor Mike Thompson, the author of a brand new book called The Lions Army, Discovering the Ways of the Spirit. spirit for the last days. So the Lions Army is the people that God has called to himself to be the intercessors. They're all around this country, all around the world, people that are praying, that are called to pray. And so what led you, Mike, to write this new book? What is at the heart of the

book? Well, I felt, you know, the nudging of the Holy Spirit. to write the second book to follow up on, you know, third heaven authority, talking about authority, about faith, about how to pray from heaven's perspective, looking down by the Holy Spirit's anointing and moving through our life. But what happened is in 2018, I had a vision. And actually, it was a succession of visions over a period of time. And what has happened to me is that occasionally, this doesn't happen too often, but occasionally, I will have a vision, and then later, a week later, six months later, the Lord will draw me into the

spirit, and he shows me the exact same vision. But then when it gets to the end, it doesn't stop. He adds on another installment. And so this happened, and I had several installments to this vision. But the vision basically was that the Lord caught me in the spirit. I was standing. Eric, I was standing in front of a class. I was teaching a class on Third Heaven Authority, by the way.

And while I was teaching, I felt the Holy Spirit drawing me away. And I heard sounds in the spiritual realm. And I had all these students in front of me. I knew something was happening. I just turned to the students. And I said, you guys, something. something's happening here. I'm having a vision, something, a spiritual encounter. Just go into prayer. And the whole class went into prayer. And then it unfolded. The Lord lifted me up. And I was high above, in the spiritual realm, this battlefield.

And on the far end of the battlefield, I could see an advancing horde of demons. It's the way that the Lord showed it to me at the time. And they were ugly. they were grotesque. They were screaming at the top of their lungs and just making all kinds of noise and the power was in their screams. They were coming against humanity, I knew, but as they were advancing, I could tell that there was something on my end of the battlefield that I hadn't seen yet down below me because I was from a lofty position looking down. And then I heard a loud thunder roar. And I looked to my right and down, and there was a huge lion, Jesus, the lion of Judah. And he roared thunderously and stretched out in front of him was an army of saints and

angels, saints, I mean believers, Christians. And they were dressed in their battle armor. They were holding their swords up, light was glinting off of their swords, and the lion roared again. And when he roared, there was words in the roar. And the roar and the words went into the backs of the lion's army, and they in unison said the words out loud with authority and power. They said, you have lost, we have won. It was their battle cry. It was their declaration of faith and the victory that God was going to bring through the lion. And then the Spirit of God raised them up over the battlefield. And as they looked down, they began to speak, you have lost, we have won.

And they spoke other things and commands. It reminded me of my encounter that I just shared with the people about being in heaven and looking down. It was third heaven authority that this lion's army was operating in. And when they spoke against that advancing horde, and the Lord had called the advancing horde the shriekers and screamers, the ones that would go forward and just cause all kinds of cacophony, just intimidation and fear and commotion, just to distract and to confuse people. and that was the first army. And when they spoke, I'm talking about the mighty warriors, fire came out of their mouths.

And angels were in the fire. And when the fire touched them, it began to beat them down until they were eventually individually paralyzed. At that point, I looked, and on the far end of the battlefield, a huge beast rose up. He was the commander of this horde. And I could tell that there were two other hordes, one on the left and one on his right. And he turned to the one on the left, and he said, the shriekers and screamers have done their job. Now you go. And he said, lying unity, you go.

Okay, lying unity. Yep. Okay. So in other words, the shriekers and screamers had caused so much. so much turmoil that now line unity could go. And so as they advanced, they looked rather normal and rather human-like in their face, except they had a smirk just on the corner of their mouth. And you could tell it was for deception.

They were coming forth to deceive. And so it was that there had been so much commotion before people would swallow anything, was kind of the idea, okay, now we'll deceive them. Now we'll bewitch them. Now we'll pull them into our side, which is what happened in 2020 during the election. And at that point, and this is a repetitive cycle, by the way. I'll mention that later.

So when they came forth, they were just deceiving, just trying to get people to swallow what they had, hook, line, and sinker, and that they had the ability to bring peace. Now, it wasn't, the unity of the spirit was not godly unity. It was fleshly unity. It was deception. It was coercion. And so, go ahead. No, they're just, we're going to go to another break. Folks, I just know there are folks out there thinking, what are we talking about? This is next level. This is, this is deep stuff, but this is the Lord's will that we be mature in the faith. And that's why I want to take the time to hear what Pastor Mike is talking about.

The brand new book is The Lions Army, discovering the ways of the spirit for the last day. So, Mike, you're describing something, which I'm sure most people are thinking, wow, this is heavy.

It's very heavy. And to you, it was heavy. This is not a normal thing for you. I mean, you move in the spirit, but this was a major thing in 2018, this vision you're describing. You describe it in the book. So keep going.

You said that there's this, there were the shriekers and the screamers. whose job, these demonic powers to confuse and then once they've done their work, the enemy deputizes what you call lying unity or what you heard in the vision is lying unity. Yeah. People are like, oh yeah, we're reasonable. They're not reasonable, but they pretend to be reasonable. So keep going.

That's right. And so then the line roared again and the righteous army up above. spoke, you have lost, we have won. This time, instead of fire, it was light that came out of their mouths. And angels were in the light. And it went down and it was truth. See, the fire before was the power of God. But the light of God is his revelation and his truth that combated these. And then after that specific battle began to wane and they were being defeated, then the beast on the far end turned to his right, and he released the third horde of demons. And they were the punishers and the enforcers. And the punishers just wanted bloodlust. The enforcers were to

control the people. And these again were kind of hideous. They had rows of teeth in the big mouths, big rows of teeth. And each of the teeth were for different purposes. for causing strife among people, for tearing down leaders with false accusations, many different things. And so as they joined the battle, then the lion roared, and from above, the righteous warriors spoke again. You have lost, we have won. This time, it was wind that came out of their mouths. And the angels were in the wind, and the wind was the move of the Holy Spirit. So we have the fire, the light, and the wind that God used against these.

And then as the battle began to wind down, something remarkable happened. And that was, it's like two big hands from above, reached down. I didn't, I hadn't noticed before, but there was a thin layer of clouds opened it and a bright sunlight hit the battlefield. And the Lord spoke and said that it had to be. purged. It had to be healed. The ground had to be disinfected. And then suddenly it changed. And there I was looking at the White House. And the Lord spoke to me and he said, speak the sunlight, disinfect the White House. And at that moment, I spoke and all the other righteous warriors spoke, sunlight release and these pulses of light and the sunlight appeared in front of the S-O-N-L-I-G-H-T.

In other words, Jesus, the sun, his light, and began to purge the White House. All of these things happened and pretty much that was the end of the vision. I described that vision in the book, but it becomes a repetitive cycle and all these things occurred over the last four. years. We're going to, we're going to go to another break here, but we have to tease out. There's so much stuff here. You've just shared the raw vision. Yeah.
