Starting point is 00:00:00 Folks, welcome to the Eric Metaxus show, sponsored by Legacy Precious Metals. There's never been a better time to invest in precious metals. Visit legacy pm.investments.com. That's legacy p.m. Investments.com. Welcome to the Eric Metaxas show. Have you heard that some people have a nose for news? Well, Eric has a nose for everything. That's why this is called The Show About Everything. Now, welcome your host, who definitely passes the smell test. Eric Monttaxas. Hey there, folks.
Starting point is 00:00:42 Welcome to the program. As you know, tomorrow, if tomorrow is Thursday, is Thanksgiving. And we thought, wouldn't it be nice to have someone, a pastor perhaps, from Plymouth, Massachusetts on the program? Obviously, that was impossible. So we reached out to Pastor Neil Eaton. And then it turns out he's actually from Plymouth, Massachusetts. Pastor Neil, welcome. It's so good to be with you, Eric.
Starting point is 00:01:08 I can't believe you're here in the studio in New York. Thank you for coming down. Actually, you're coming by way of Dallas. That's right. We've got to tell my audience the story that you invited me to speak at your church in Plymouth, Massachusetts. It's about, what, a year and a half ago? Something like that. I'd say a year and a half, too.
Starting point is 00:01:24 Yeah. Yeah. And I was thrilled. Anytime I'm invited to speak in New England, I'm really thrilled because New England is not exactly the buckle of the Bible belt. That's for sure. It's been spiritually dark for some time, but it's where it's where it all started. It's where the pilgrims landed. It's where there's been tons of faith.
Starting point is 00:01:45 And, you know, we think of the first great awakening and Jonathan Edwards. That's all New England. But in this day and age, it's spiritually on the darker side. So when I was invited to speak to your church, I was really excited. And here we are to talk about what's happened since then. And, I mean, where do we start? So that actually was a gathering of multiple churches of all denominations that have been praying for revival in Plymouth County. What was a gathering?
Starting point is 00:02:16 The event that you came to speak at, we invited you to come. So it was a, it's a prayer initiative. And you came to pray with us, but also to be the keynote speaker. And it's interesting because we had people coming from all over because they found out you were going to be there. and we have this couple from Rhode Island that came. He's a colonel in the Air Force, a retired colonel in the Air Force, and he and his wife came, and they never stopped coming to New Hope after that event.
Starting point is 00:02:48 That's always my dream is, you know, I go someplace and I say, hey, I'm going to be at this place or this place, whatever. And people maybe who listen to this program, I've read my books, so they go, oh, we'd like to go here, Eric, and they go to the church. It's happened with other churches around the country. and they go, hey, this is a pretty great church. Maybe we should go here, even though it's a little bit of a drive.
Starting point is 00:03:09 But that's actually, you know, music to my ears to hear that that gathering resulted in people finding you and the church. And they're not the only ones. We had several other people because they were looking for a pastor, and I'm not trying to promote myself at all, but they were looking for a pastor who would not be afraid to speak truth to culture. So that continues on. So here's the great thing about that.
Starting point is 00:03:37 That couple that came, and they've been, they come four or five times a week from Rhode Island. It's an hour and hour away. But they've invested their lives in something we're calling a learning pod because parents have decided to no longer send their kids to public school. And they became homeschoolers. But the learning pod at our church is a place where they can gather twice a week. and those who are experts in English or science or whatever language, the parents can teach. And the Chabernos have changed our church for the better to provide opportunities because they care so much about this country. There are great things happening.
Starting point is 00:04:19 And I say this often, I don't say that often on this program, but I go around the country and I get to see what God is doing. And I think, boy, I wish more people could see what I see because they would have hope. for this nation. We're going through a really hard time right now, but I see hope. And your church in Plymouth is one of them. So I've got to ask you, now you're the pastor of New Hope Church.
Starting point is 00:04:46 The website is at newhope.com, at newhope.com. How did you end up in Plymouth? Did you grow up in that neck of the woods? No, but I found out, I, you know, my ancestors came on the Mayflower, actually like three or four families. And I had been an associate pastor of another church about a half an hour away or so. And I just kept sensing a magnetic pull to plant a church there.
Starting point is 00:05:19 In Plymouth, that's history, there had never been an evangelical church that went, that grew beyond 200 people. there were so many splits and the church would end and cease to exist. People don't understand what hard ground New England is. Right. I mean, a church of 200 people is a big church in New England because it's just hard ground. It's spiritually very dark. So, but you felt that what year was it that you thought that you would plant the church? So we planted in 2002 with about 50 people.
Starting point is 00:05:53 And now with in person and online. regular online faithful viewers. We are at 1,000. We're at 700 in person and about 400. 700 in person. Yeah. In Plymouth, Massachusetts. Folks, that's big news.
Starting point is 00:06:09 That's big, that is a big church in Plymouth, Massachusetts. In Massachusetts, that's wonderful. And that's not including all of this. We have 50 small groups. I'm telling you, we're calling it a revival because we believe it's stirring. And there's celebrate recovery. There's all kinds of recovery.
Starting point is 00:06:27 ministries and we're ministering to the under-resourced in the area. And so all through the week, there are so many ministries have. So it's come alive and we started this, we wrote this mini documentary and produced it called America's Hometown Revival. Okay, that is, okay, I don't want to forget. Folks, write this down. America's Hometown Revival.com. This is the documentary that you made. It's only 10 minutes long, America's Hometown Revival.com. And what is that 10-minute film? So what it does is it tells a little bit of the history of Plymouth and, you know, how the pilgrims left in 1620. They had been experiencing religious persecution in England because the state was controlling how they worshipped.
Starting point is 00:07:20 And because they read their Bibles, they came from the Reformation. They read their Bibles and realized that they're way off base. They wanted to practice their faith based on what scripture said, not what the king said. Not what King James said. Exactly. So they had gone to Leiden, Holland, hoping to get a better life there. And they decided that they wanted to come to this new world. So in 16, 20, they left.
Starting point is 00:07:41 They came that winter. Half of them died. 102 came. 51 of them passed away. And they were stalwart people because they had a faith that made them stalwart. and they did not give up. They wanted to be people of character. So they came for the advancement of the Christian faith and the glory of God and also to establish just laws so that religious freedom could continue on.
Starting point is 00:08:07 Now, I'm holding in my hand here a book. You're involved. I was just a speaker at the 50th gala of Intercessors for America, and you are involved with Intercessors for America. Yes, we have many, many members that are involved and very, very supportive of that ministry. It's powerful. My friend Keith Junta was just on the program. He's involved with Intercessors for America. And the book I have in my hand is titled Monumental Prayers.
Starting point is 00:08:41 We should really talk about the monument. Shouldn't we talk about the monument? Sure. I mean, it is so huge. It's monumental. And it is the Pilgrims Monument in Plymouth, which I had the privilege of seeing. But it's so huge and so beautiful. It's the largest solid granite monument in the country.
Starting point is 00:09:04 I didn't know that. Yeah. Yeah. How tall is it? I mean, it's huge. Oh, I forget. But it really is, like, it's gigantic. And Kirk Cameron has drawn a lot of attention to it and has had replicas of it made.
Starting point is 00:09:19 I still don't have one of those, but I've seen. them, and I got to tell you, it is just, it's so, it's so beautiful. But when I spoke at your church a couple years ago, I was blessed to get a tour of, of that monument. And when we come back, I want to talk about it. But it is, folks, these are our roots. These are the Christian roots of this nation. It's incontrovertible. It is real, and we need to know it and teach it to our kids. So first of all, go to America's Hometownrevival.com. America's Hometownrevival.com. You'll see the video there.
Starting point is 00:10:00 When we come back, I continue my conversation with the pastor of New Hope Chapel, Neil Eaton. I wear it for the prisoner who is long paid for his crime. Starting point is 00:12:25 Pastor Neil Eaton of New Hope Chapel in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Does that ring a bell, folks? Plymouth, Massachusetts. We were talking about the monument, the forefathers monument. Kirk Cameron has talked about it and has made these gorgeous replicas. I don't know if I've seen one or whatever, but they're just these beautiful replicas. And the monument, I just found it here. It says in this book that it was conceived, the monument was conceived.
Starting point is 00:12:55 in 1820 by the Pilgrim Society, a group of Plymouth citizens who formed to build a monument in memory of the virtues, the enterprise, and the unparalleled suffering of their ancestors who first settled in that ancient town. It is 81 feet tall, the largest freestanding granite structure in the nation. So it was finally dedicated in 1889. And if you can get to Plymouth, folks, you've got to see it. It's amazing. Now, how? How do people get a tour of it? Because I got a wonderful tour. I don't remember the name of the man who gave me the tour.
Starting point is 00:13:31 Leo Martin. Aha. Yeah. Is there a website where people can go to? He has the Jenny Museum right there on the waterfront. And he gives tours of the rock, the Mayflower, all over Plymouth. We have monuments and statues and everywhere. It tells the story of our Christian heritage.
Starting point is 00:13:50 What a great thing to do with your kids. It's like a homeschooling project or vacation. project just to go to visit Plymouth and to see these things. If people go to, what website can people go to where they can find links to all this stuff? Should they go to atnewhope.com? Do you have information there? For the tours? Yes.
Starting point is 00:14:13 Yeah, they can, yeah, we'll make sure we add links to that because also Michelle, who wrote this, Michelle Gallagher, she also can give tours as well. So they both come to our church. Two of those, both of those historians come. And yeah, so if you contact us at Newhope.com, we will get you to the tours. So you were saying that revival is happening in Plymouth. I mean, just to hear about a church with 700 people on a Sunday in Plymouth, Massachusetts, folks, that's not normal. I'm from New England.
Starting point is 00:14:45 So that's just great news. That's great news. you were talking about building a larger facility. Yes. We have a facility on the waterfront that only holds 220 people. So we way outgrew that a long time ago. We actually have to rent right now until we're done building a church the next town over in Kingston, Sacred Heart High School. Is that where I spoke?
Starting point is 00:15:12 Yes. Right. I remember now. Yes. It says as you walk in for God and country, which is pretty cool. Yeah. And so they closed about four years ago. So that property has sold. So we're in a pickle, but God, God's a God of our pickles, right? So that sounds kind of funny. But so he, so we, we have so much time to get out of there and into our new building. So we began three years ago trying to get this church approved. And we had no idea what we were in for. with some of the resistance, a very small, small amount of people, but they were loud. Why?
Starting point is 00:15:53 Like what coven do they belong to that they're hostile to the idea of a church? Well, you know, they're nimbies, right? Not in my backyard. Yeah. But they thought of every kind of reason why they thought we shouldn't be there. You know, they thought we were going to hurt the environment, but actually we are far above at every point for. federal regulation, state and local, we've gone above and beyond in our plan.
Starting point is 00:16:24 So it was, you know, you just could sense, I mean, we love our neighbors, so we have, you know, we just are always trying to love them. But there were other people in the community. There's an environmentalist that, you know, they try to stop all kinds of developments. And she has two appeals out for hours. And so just just loves to cause problems and it seems especially that she was against this church. So we just keep pressing through. We're pressing on toward this goal. And yeah, we got unanimous approval from finally from the zoning board of appeals.
Starting point is 00:17:05 So when do you start building? So we actually, this is very cool, Eric. We actually pour, we're starting to pour the foundation. Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving. And I love the connection because... That's going to be today, I believe. Yes. Yes, this is today. This is when, today is Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:17:27 Yes, today's Wednesday. So your point concrete today? Yes. And that's very... When you think about the connection, about how the pilgrims laid the foundation here for our nation... Pretty significant. And so we're going to...
Starting point is 00:17:42 Yeah, so the day before Thanksgiving, here we are. Wow. Yeah. So this is happening today. It's happening, yes. It's how you're pouring concrete today. Yes. And so how long is the building process?
Starting point is 00:17:54 When will the building be a building? The builders are telling us for sure we will have a Christmas service, but they believe wholeheartedly that by fall we will be able to open the church. That is, that's pretty terrific. Yeah, it's nearly 800 seats. We're going to have multiple services. It's surrounded by gorgeous tall. pines. It's everyone that goes there senses the presence of God. So it's very special. And the oldest
Starting point is 00:18:19 road is not on our property, but just behind it that the pilgrims traveled on it. It no longer is a road. But I discovered it one day just walking around and I found out that that's the oldest road, I guess, in the country from what they say. Okay, so if people want to find you in the church, I can go to at new hope.com. So what is your sense of what is happening? Because I feel like, you know, we talk about redigging the old wells. Yes. This is, anybody who knows the history of this nation knows that New England was the center of
Starting point is 00:19:00 really, you know, Christian activity, of the birth of liberty. So it seems right that this. would be happening. But it's interesting that it took such a long time. Yes. We, with that glory of God prayer group, with all the multiple denominations that we come together, once a month, we pray different churches hosted every time. And we have been praying for revival for many, many years. Now, here's, I have, you know, I'm careful about prophetic words that I get, but I want to know, you know, always I kind of judge them with prayer. But I heard over and over again what you just said that God is going to use us to redig dig the ancient wells of the covenant that the pilgrims
Starting point is 00:19:43 made with God in beginning in Plymouth County. And for 21 years now, I've heard from people all over the nation that travel literally from Dallas to Plymouth and all over the country to say, I came here to tell you that a revival is going to begin right here in Plymouth and you're going to be part of it. So I took that, you know, I tried to measure that and be really careful with whether or not I could fully receive that as a word from the Lord. But over time hearing these things time and time again, I realized the Lord is speaking. We're going to step out. Well, it's interesting to me because when you think of Philadelphia, when you think of Boston, Plymouth, this is where it all started. And most of these places have become very spiritually dark, very anti-liberty. You know,
Starting point is 00:20:36 it's ironic. But it does seem to me that that's God's poetry, that he does that. He goes back. And I, you know, I'd like to believe that those prophecies are really from the Lord. And I'd love to come back to New Hope at some point to speak, because it's exciting to me. It's very exciting to me. Now, the monument that we were talking about, that I'm trying to remember, when did Kirk Cameron bring it into prominence? Because, I mean, it's been there for a long time, but he did a film. People who listening to the program know the film I'm talking about. I can't think of the title right now. Monumental.
Starting point is 00:21:20 It's called Monumental. Okay. So that, it is really so beautiful that I hope people listening to the program will get a bug in their ear. think, you know what, I need to make a pilgrimage to Plymouth. And obviously, you know, if you go to New England, you can go to Boston. You can go to Paul Revere's house. I've been there. I build the model of Paul Revere's house. It's just, it's all there. And it's so inspiring and so, so, beautiful. How far the church that you're building now, where is that? Is it in place? Is it in place? Or is it near Plymouth?
Starting point is 00:22:01 It's we are, so we have a waterfront campus. I don't think you came to that. No. We've had it now for, oh, a long time, 15, 14 years, I think. So we're right down the street from the monument. Literally, I walk to it easily. In our backyard is Mayflower and Plymouth Rock right behind us. We can see the ocean from our windows from the back of the church.
Starting point is 00:22:23 So we are right there. So we're right near the monument. I had no idea. That's pretty cool. Oh, yeah. And I think the movie came out. I want to guess, 2016, 17, something like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:35 Yeah, I was actually with Kurt. You know, we were Kirk and we were praying together and all that. Well, I want to go to his website and look, see those, if he's still selling those replicas, because it is just, it is so beautiful. But if you can go there in person, folks, we'll be right back talking to Pastor Neil Eaton. You can go to America's Hometown Revival.com. America's Hometown Revival.com. With the overturn of Roe v. We're talking about Thanksgiving. We're talking about Plymouth, Massachusetts. I'm sitting here with the pastor, Pastor Neil Eaton, of New Hope Chapel in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Starting point is 00:25:38 And again, just to know that there's a thriving church in Plymouth, it blesses people all over the country to hear that. I hope they'll visit. I hope they'll think of an excuse to get up there, take a road. trip with the kids or whatever, because it really is important that we reconnect with our roots, with our Christian roots, with our historical roots in that area. Were you always aware of that because you say you grew up in Massachusetts? Did you always have a sense of that, or did that come to you later in life? When did you come to faith? I came to faith at 12 years old listening to Billy Graham on TV.
Starting point is 00:26:13 I was home alone, and I heard the gospel, and it was a really difficult time in our lives. Our family was going through divorce, and I felt a lot of despair, and I listened to him. And then, you know, it wasn't really growing super mature until my middle 20s when I had my first child, and that made me really wake up and say, it's time to grow up. So that year, when my daughter was born, I read through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation for the first time. And when I got to Romans, it ignited a fire in my spirit that has never gone out. Praise God. Justification.
Starting point is 00:26:50 Now that's not normal, you know? Like people, that's a supernatural thing. Suddenly you decide to read the entire Bible. Yeah. What were you doing professionally up to that point? You obviously were not a pastor. I was a contractor for 27 years. And while I was contracting, I would just tell customers about, you know, the power of the gospel
Starting point is 00:27:11 and my crews and just bringing people to faith. I held a Bible study at my house. and it was mostly my crew, and they were coming to Jesus, and it was just an overflow of what was happening in me. And so they were, there's, some of them are, many of them are still serving Christ, and, you know, some have become pastors. Did you ever think when you were in your 20s that you would be a pastor? Never. In a million years. Really? I told God I wouldn't choose me. Well, that's the funny thing. We wouldn't choose us, but the Lord knows. So, and when did you decide, that you wanted to pastor a church, how did that come about?
Starting point is 00:27:53 I mean, thankfully, I didn't decide it, but God called me, and it was everybody else telling me you're a pastor because I was pastoring people. And I loved evangelism, so I was sharing it with people, and I just realized, you know what? Maybe I am called. I was fighting it because I just kept reminding God of all the things I did when I was in a rebellious place
Starting point is 00:28:18 as a teenager in early 20s. And the whole justification through faith was what really made me realize this is all about, it's not about religion which is spelled D-O. This is about the gospel, which is spelled D-O-N-E. Jesus Christ paid the price, and it's over. And so now I can just go on and live for him. I must have missed something. Religion is spelled D.O.
Starting point is 00:28:40 Yeah, it's all about what you do to earn favor with whatever your God is. Religion is spelled D-O to do. Yes. And following Jesus is about D-O-N-E. He did it. He did it, so it's done. It is finished, man. That's one of his last words on the cross.
Starting point is 00:28:56 Yeah. So I had actually, in my early years, I was exposed to the Jesus Revolution, and that was a revival that came all the way across to the East Coast. So I have been longing for a revival like that since then. So what? 40, 50 years had gone by. And so we are now seeing it. In Plymouth, you know, I'd say early stages, right? It's the flames of revival are beginning to move.
Starting point is 00:29:25 Yeah. And that's what's really exciting here. And, you know, we got back to the basics. What did Jesus do? What did he do? Well, he preached. What else did he do? He healed the sick.
Starting point is 00:29:37 What else did he do? He cast out the demonic. So we started saying, we've kind of come away. We've moved a little far away from the basics of Christ. I mean, can I read a scripture here real quick? Of course. In Acts chapter 10, 38. Peter was saying how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power,
Starting point is 00:29:54 which we also have that same anointing, and how we went about doing good and healing all who are under the power of the devil because God was with him. Jesus commissioned us to do the same thing. So there are many people. They're called cessationists. They have a doctrine which does not agree with what you just said. I obviously do agree with what you just said.
Starting point is 00:30:16 I've had many folks on this program who have spoken about, you know, I have a dear friend Ken Fish. He has a healing and deliverance ministry. So I know this is for today. I have seen it. It's the power of God. And I always think who would want to go to a church where they don't do that stuff? Right. There are many people listening to this program right now who go to churches, if they go to churches, that they don't do this stuff.
Starting point is 00:30:39 So it's not fun to go to church. It's not exciting. No. It's not an adventure with God. It's just like, we're going to church. We're going to hear some words. And there's more. Right.
Starting point is 00:30:51 There's a lot more. The devil offers things that people are spiritually hungry for, but it's an imitation of the real thing. And, you know, Paul the apostle, when he went to Thessalonica and started a revival there, he wrote to them later in First Thessalonians. And he said, the word came to you. I'm sorry, the gospel came to you not only in word. So it came in word, but with power. It came in the Holy Spirit with full conviction. So the Thessalonikins, because they received it that way,
Starting point is 00:31:23 they also brought the word all over Greece. Just that one little church, brand new, you know, young church, they were pressing the gospel with the word, with power, right? And with the Holy Spirit and with great full conviction, which you could say boldness. And they were saturating the community with it. So that's how we should be. Yes, it is.
Starting point is 00:31:48 But there's some people say, no, no, no, that was just for then. We don't do that anymore. Those people would be wrong. Give you the scriptures for it. Go to America's Hometown Revival.com. We'll be right back with Pastor Neil Eaton of New Hope Chapel. Welcome back talking to Pastor Neil Eaton of New Hope Chapel. You can visit at the website is at new hope.com.
Starting point is 00:32:34 AT at new hope.com. You just were going to tell a story. Yeah, so part of the things, we're seeing many, many stories I could tell you for hours of individuals experiencing Christ in Realways. And by the way, when your viewers go to see this mini documentary, they will see one or two powerful stories. But there was a young lady who came to our services, not that long ago, early 20s, super anxious, depressed, and she was suicidal. Of course, I didn't know that. I didn't know her when she came in. But while I was preaching, I sensed a nudge from the Holy Spirit to just take a pause. And then I said, there's someone in here who has suicidal ideations, something like that. And I said, I want you to know that the devil comes to steal, come to destroy.
Starting point is 00:33:34 wants to take your life, but Jesus comes to give you life. And he is going to give you life. So he's going to empower you to overcome this whole thing. So she came to me, and it was months later when she told me this. And she told me that was her. I had no idea. I didn't know anything about what was going on in her. And she said she had planned that day that she was going to take her life. But she came to church. And I allowed the Holy Spirit to eat. interrupt me. In a good reformed church, nobody was said nothing. No, I got a joke.
Starting point is 00:34:11 And her life was completely changed. Honestly, if you had not been willing to do that, you know, we don't want to think about it. But how beautiful that you get this feeling, this sense from God, and you're willing to say something about it. And then months later, she tells you that. Was there another story you wanted to know? just like her life has been dynamically changed. Her whole family told us that her whole life, she was in depression and anxiety and could never crawl out of it.
Starting point is 00:34:43 And now she has a barbershop, a really nice one, called Kingdom Barber. And anytime somebody sits in her chair, they get the gospel. It's amazing. Unbelievable. So what is the book that I'm holding in my hand here? It's got a forward by Dave Kubal, whom I just met at the Intercessors for America, 50th anniversary in D.C.
Starting point is 00:35:07 It's called monumental prayers. What is this? So that is a 14-day devotional that was designed for IFA. And they, Michelle Gallagher and her husband, Dan, are going to give, they wanted to do this, give a book away for anyone that supports
Starting point is 00:35:28 the America's hometown revival cause, of a gift over $100. If somebody goes to America's Hometown Revival.com, what are they supporting? So we, as I shared with you, the adversity that we were faced with in building this building, it's an $8 million building. Our church has raised $3 million just within ourselves. And we have a lot more to go to get this thing built. So we're basically saying America, all over the Bible Belt,
Starting point is 00:36:00 wherever you are in the South and the Midwest, Would you pray for us? Pray for the roots of this nation, Plymouth, Massachusetts, Plymouth County, because we need your prayers. We need your prayers. Revival is stirring. And we're making room for all of the hungry souls in Plymouth County that are turning to Jesus. Do you know, Eric, we do not own one parking spot and we've grown to the point that we do? So we are now providing, we're going to have provision for large capacity for people to come to find Christ and have their whole lives revolutionized by his love, by his power. Well, I think that there are people, you know, all around the country that are hungry for God, but in places like Massachusetts, whatever,
Starting point is 00:36:43 where do you go? Where is there a good church to go? Not easy to find. There are, there are few and far between. Obviously, yours is one that I know about. And again, I want to encourage people at new hope.com is the website at new hope.com and then America's Hometown Revival.com to find out more to see the documentary. But you said you had another story that you wanted to tell. So quickly, before I forget, with that book, so once again, they're going to give away a book for anyone who donates $100 or more to that. So thank you for that.
Starting point is 00:37:26 Oh, there's so many stories, Eric. One that is highlighted in the video is this man who is he was a rock and roller. He was just traveling all the time. And he was doing all kinds of drugs and alcohol. And he came to, what happened is one of the church members from our church lived across the street from him. He was addicted to so many things and he was so lost, so broken. his wife wanted to have a baby, and he said, he told her he didn't want to have a child. He said, if you have this child, I will not have anything to do with this child.
Starting point is 00:38:02 Anyways, she shares the gospel with her. He comes to our church, finds Christ, gets baptized the same day. And this man is one of the best fathers you could ever see. His life is dramatically changed. And the moment that he was saved and delivered, he was complete, he had never had a desire to go back to any of the drugs. any of the alcohol. So this guy is one of the main characters in the film. People need to know miracles are real. And I just have to be clear, I've seen a number in my life, I've experienced the number, I haven't written about most of them yet. But people need to know
Starting point is 00:38:41 God is real. He's alive. He's doing these things. And he's doing these things because he wants to bless us, wants to get our attention, that he's not just, you know, a set of precepts or a moral law, no, he's alive. And he wants to change lives and have relationship with us and speak to us. And there's so many people that they don't even know that that's possible. And so it thrills me that in New England, in Plymouth, Massachusetts, that there's a body of believers that are moving in that stuff and understanding that stuff and living it out. I really can't wait to get back up there. I don't know when I can, but it's just, it is exciting to me that you are there. You have services every Sunday at what time?
Starting point is 00:39:27 Yes, so we are meeting at the Sacred Heart High School in Kingston. Yeah. And we have a, it's a 9 o'clock service and a 1045 service. Okay, all right. So folks, you got to check it out. Go to at new hope.com and definitely go to America's Hometown Revival.com. America's hometown revival.com. Pastor Neil Eaton.
Starting point is 00:39:54 God bless you. Thanks for being on. Thank you so much for having me. Folks, welcome back. I'm talking to Robert Netsley right now, who is with Inspire Investing. Robert, I can't help but get excited about what you've created an opportunity for people to find out if their money is funding wicked things, if they have money in a 401k or a retirement friend, whatever it is, that is invested in companies that are doing evil things that is
Starting point is 00:40:50 promoting pornography, promoting abortion, promoting any number of things or ideologies with your money, folks. So Robert Nestle has created something where you can get a free report that tells you where your money is and they will help you get your money into companies that are doing good things. So you have to go to inspireadvisors.com slash Eric. InspireAdvisors.com slash Eric. You get a free report. But this is something. something I you know Robert I guess it just gives me hope that it's possible to turn things around in America because when I think of how much money people have invested out there if they would understand what's going on and shift that money to good stuff it's just huge it's just absolutely
Starting point is 00:41:36 monstrous like what what it's enormous it's enormous and we are seeing uh fruit from that labor it's it's remarkable it doesn't have to even be trillions of dollars to to change things i've been on the phone, you know, in recent weeks, you know, with investor relations and CFOs and whatnot, we regularly engage with companies that we invest in or are like to invest in or kind of just speaking biblical truth, the corporate power. And, you know, one of the things we hear is often that, number one, these people have never heard, they tell us they've never heard from a faith-based investor before. They've been doing their job for 20, 30 years, you know, executive major organizations never heard from a faith-based investor. So number one, they need to hear our voice.
Starting point is 00:42:18 Number two, they're thankful to hear it. Even in some of these sort of, you know, woke businesses, you think that this don't care. There are people in those businesses of influence that actually do care about what we have to say and oftentimes have enough influence to change things. So, for instance, Costco stopped giving money to gay pride parades. Chevron stopped giving money to Planned Parenthood. There's a laundry list of other organizations that have changed things. That is unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:42:44 Robert Nelson. That is unbelievable. It is so wonderful. I want to tell people, folks, what you do and don't do, you can change the world if you take an interest in this. When I hear that a company like Costco would stop giving money to something like that or Chevron, these are huge, huge companies. And you shop there, your money may be invested there. When we get involved in these things, we can change the world. So I want to say the action point is go to invest, I'm sorry, inspire advisory.
Starting point is 00:43:17 dot com slash Eric. Inspireadvisors.com slash Eric. You'll get a free report that will help you figure this out. And I know, Robert, that you guys will help people if they want to transition to invest in companies that believe in their values. But this is a gigantic thing that we have, I mean, it's to me scandalous when we have power and we don't use that power. It's like when I say, I'm not going to vote.
Starting point is 00:43:47 I'm not going to do this. I'm not going to do that. When you don't do those things, people who don't share your values, who share opposite, who have opposite values, they're going to prevail. So I just want to say to you, Robert, thank you for taking this on because it is game-changing. Like you said, it's a movement. The more people that do this, it's an amazing thing when we think of the money that is out there, that many people of faith, with traditional values have invested in woke companies. Ladies and gentlemen, you've got to do something about it. You've just got to do something about it. This is like a mandate that we've got to live our faith out in every sphere
Starting point is 00:44:31 and where your money is. That's a big deal. So please go to InspireAdvisors.com slash Eric. This is a free report. InspireAdvisors.com slash Eric. Robert Natsley, thank you. Pleasure. Thank you, Eric.
