Starting point is 00:00:00 Noble Gold Investments is the official gold sponsor of the Eric Mataxis show, a company that specializes in gold IRAs and physical delivery of precious metals. Learn how you can protect your wealth with noble gold investments. That's noble gold investments.com. Welcome to the Eric Mataxis show. Did you ever see the movie The Blobs starring Steve McQueen? The blood-curdling prep of The Plop. Well, way back when Eric had a small part in that film, but they had a count. is seen because the blob was supposed to eat him, but he kept spitting him out. Oh, the whole thing was just a disaster. Anyway, here's the guy who's not always that easy to digest.
Starting point is 00:00:50 Eric the Texas! Hey there, folks, welcome to the program. Are you excited? You should be excited. I don't know why you should be. I just know that you should be. Chris Heims, are you excited? I'm thrilled, man.
Starting point is 00:01:06 I'm stoked, as they say in California. Are you stoked, bro? What would Doug Giles? say. I don't know. I don't know. Whatever we would say, we would never think of it. Only Doug Giles would think of it. Look, seriously, folks. He would use the word brosophis. That's all I got to say. There's a number of things that I want to relate now excitedly, okay, because I'm excited. Number one, a number of you have stepped up to give to food for the poor, but not everyone has.
Starting point is 00:01:35 Here's the thing. We need everybody to do it. Everybody, unfortunately, includes you, folks. I don't make up the rules, okay? are the rules. You need to go to metaxis talk.com today. You'll see the banner, feed their future, metaxistalk.com today. If you prefer to call, I can give you a phone number. In fact, I will give you the phone number, but it's very important. So I want to give you some details on that in just a minute. I also want to mention excitedly that the cruise, the Greek cruise, June 6th to 16th,
Starting point is 00:02:08 which is mind-blowing. It is not sold out. But if you're interested at this late date, you need to call, right? So if you go to the website, Ericmataxis.com slash cruise, erkmataxis.com slash cruise, you'll see if you click through it says sold out. It's not sold out. There's a phone number there. You need to call the phone number because for some reason now you got a call.
Starting point is 00:02:33 So to inquire, you can go to ericmetaxus.com slash cruise and see the phone number. phone number and call it, or I'll just give you the phone number right now. What do you say? Here you go. Ready? 844-808-2058, 844-808-2058. I would call it sooner rather than later. 844-808-2058. There is an add-on that we're doing that you've got to actually just do the add-on and skip the cruise if you don't want to go on the cruise
Starting point is 00:03:12 enough time. But we're doing it in Athens, three days in Athens, before the cruise. So before June 6th. So I think it's the fourth, fifth and sixth, the third, fourth, and fifth. We're doing Socrates and City in Athens. Speaking of Socrates and City, we're doing Socrates and City in New York in May. We're doing a Socrates and City in Lexington, Kentucky, in April. All kinds of stuff. Got to go to Socrates and City.com. for all that information. But the crews, if you're interested, I would call 844-808-2058. It is definitely not sold out, but you have to call 844-808-2058.
Starting point is 00:04:00 I also want to mention excitedly our friend Mike Lindell. If you know Mike Lindell, he's a hero. and we've had him on the program many times. But I want to encourage you or remind you that if you buy anything from my store.com or my pillow.com, use the code Eric. This radio show needs your help and your support. So please tell your friends, if you buy towels or sheets or mattress toppers or my crosses or slippers or all the stuff that he sells, my store.com or my pillow.com, use the code Eric. And speaking of my store.com, there are some amazing prices on my books there. So if you go to my store.com, my miracles book, the Donald
Starting point is 00:04:53 drains the swamp book, the Donald builds the wall book, the Donald and the fake news book, the birthday ABC. Oh my gosh. The birthday ABC. Have you seen that one? I should talk about it more. It is so gorgeous. And actually, we are scheduled to have Mike Lindell back on the show in the coming weeks. We're excited to get him back on. We're talking to his booker. Do you think John Smirik is scary?
Starting point is 00:05:21 Yeah. I once interviewed Mike Lindell in front of like 800 people in a ballroom. It was like wrestling two greased grizzly bears. That sounds impossible. Like it couldn't be done. That's correct. That's exactly correct. You know, we refer to John Zimirac as the Crackin.
Starting point is 00:05:40 Mike Lindell is kind of like the Papa Crackin. Yeah, he's like a pair of greased grizzly bears. Good luck, wrestling them. Anyway, but if you're interested in supporting the hero patriot, Mike Lindell, go to my store.com, my pillow.com. Please use the code. Eric. And if you are interested in helping our friends at Food for the Poor,
Starting point is 00:06:03 actually, you're not helping our friends at Food for the Poor. you're helping hungry children. Literally, you're feeding hungry children. You go to metaxis talk.com and click on the banner. This is mandatory. Actually, I want to play a clip. James, I don't know if we have that clip. But let me just say this, right?
Starting point is 00:06:24 Just to break it down in case you haven't heard this before. This is urgent. Okay. In El Salvador, skyrocketing food prices has. made challenges for people living in vulnerable conditions even worse, right? So creating more poverty, more food insecurity, to use a term, chronic malnutrition, imagine. That should not be a problem in the world today, malnutrition. Chronic malnutrition affects 10% of all kids under five years old in El Salvador. 10% have chronic malnutrition. So basically, that's where food
Starting point is 00:07:02 for the poor comes in. That's where you come in. You're literally, saving lives, changing lives. But I want to play a clip, one of Food for the Poor's ministry partners on the ground. Her name is Carla. She is in El Salvador where we are focusing right now. Let me play that clip. Here's Carla. Because El Salvador ranked as one of the top 10 most vulnerable countries worldwide. So the well-being of the most vulnerable population is always threatened. On a yearly basis, we understand this is going to be a recurring problem in North Salvador. So having your support give us a lot of confidence that we can face struggles and support the vulnerable population without delays.
Starting point is 00:07:45 Okay, folks, so would you please jump in with us today? This is exciting. You should be excited that you, out of your treasure, can bless kids who are literally hungry and malnourished. That should not happen. And we have it in our power to do something about it. I will throw this out there again. I've said it before. Everybody can give something. There are rare people who can give $15,000. If you can do that, or if you want to do that, you want to gather with some friends, maybe three couples want to throw in five each. I will have dinner with you, spend an evening with you. I'm traveling like,
Starting point is 00:08:30 crazy. I was looking at my schedule. So we can do it in New York if you want to come to New York. I'll be in Lexington, Kentucky. I'll be in Winachi, Washington State. I'll be in Rome, Georgia. I'll be in Grand Rapids. I'll be in Ocean City, New Jersey. I'm going to, I just, I go all over the country. That doesn't stop. We can find a time together and spend the evening together. If anybody can give $15,000 to this work, to this campaign with Food for the poor. Once the campaign is over, this offer is over. So I cannot, you know, a month from now, you know, somebody says, oh, I want to give this. It has to be done like now. Otherwise, that the offer does not stand. I'm simply busy. And I've had the privilege to sit in on a couple of
Starting point is 00:09:18 the dinners. And honestly, they have been some of the more memorable, you know, dinners we've had. and I think you sort of like make a new friend that you can't believe you didn't have. You know, it's like how did I not know this person was out there? So it's really a wonderful time. Well, it's just a way that I get to thank people and it gives me joy. It's something that I can do. It's not easy, but I will figure it out. But you have to go to metaxis talk.com and mettaxistocot.com click on the banner.
Starting point is 00:09:50 Or you can call them. I mean, if you want to give a gigantic gift, whatever, it's probably better to call them. the numbers 844-863-4-6-7-3. But every gift, every single person listening, can give something. And I wish you would do that, folks. Please do it. 8-44-863-4-863-4-863. 8-4-6-7-3.

A generation of kids in El Salvador are lost to malnutrition and the only way to a better future is through a school feeding program. Join me, Eric Metaxus, in saving lives with food for the poor.
Starting point is 00:11:27 When you click the Feed Their Future banner at MetaxistalksTalk.com, your gift of $100 will provide a child in El Salvador with daily school nutrition for a year. Call 844-863-4673. Make your most generous contribution, please. The nutrition these kids get in school is often their only meal of the day. Food for the Poor School Nutrition Program effectively addresses malnutrition and increases, children's school attendance. Your donation will also support local farmers who produce the nutritional supplements. You are needed to improve children's nutrition in El Salvador. Your gift will allow them to focus on learning rather than worrying about their next meal. Today you have the power to feed a child
Starting point is 00:12:10 or an entire classroom for a year. Please click the blue banner at metaxis talk.com or call 844-863-4673 with a gift of $100 to feed their future. an update on our raise with foods of the poor. So we've been doing this. It's already, we're halfway through the month. And we are way behind on this. So far in my radio audience, which folks, that includes you, only 44 people, only 44 people in our vast audience of many, many thousands have stepped up.
Starting point is 00:13:01 So I want to put the pressure on you. We need your help. The easiest ways to go to metaxis talk.com. This is a great cause. I hope to convince you of that. Obviously, I haven't yet. But what we're trying to do is raise money for hungry children in El Salvador. They need your help.
Starting point is 00:13:27 They are suffering for malnutrition. It says that 10% of the kids in El Salvador or suffer from chronic malnutrition under age five. That's amazing to think of how many kids that that is suffering from chronic malnutrition. What food for the poor is doing is they try to feed these kids through school lunches because most of these kids go to school. So if you go to metastastok.com, you'll see the banner at the top of the page. If you give $100, now you can give anything you want, and I, we hope everybody will participate
Starting point is 00:14:03 but since 44 of you have participated, we're not close to everybody. So I'm starting to feel the pressure to let you know we need you to help because we are way, way behind on this radio program. And I never understand that. I got an update on, actually, I don't know if I haven't in front of me anymore, but so far we've raised about $5,000. Our goal is $40,000. and Mike Gallagher, our Salem colleague, he's raised $80,000.
Starting point is 00:14:37 We've raised five. So I don't know what I'm doing wrong. But I wanted to just say if you're inclined to help, folks, please go to Metaxistalk.com. At the top of the page, you'll see a banner. It says, feed their future. $100 feeds a kid for a whole year. That's how far food for the poor stretch is your dollars. So you do the math.
Starting point is 00:15:02 Some of you can do a lot more. This is tax deductible. It's a great thing. There is a phone number. I don't see it in front of me, which is unhelpful. But I know there's a phone number. So we need you to step up. Metaxus talk.com is the easiest way to do that.
Starting point is 00:15:23 You'd like to do text. You can text my name, Metaxis, M-E-T-A-X-S. got to spell it correctly, M-E-T-A-X-A-S to 5-1-5-55-5-5. That's text Metaxus, M-E-T-A-X-A-S to 5-1-5-5-5. Text Metaxus to 5-1-55-5-5. Or just go to Metaxystalk.com, click on the banner. So we'll get to that phone number. But I hope we can get more people to participate because we are so dramatically behind.
Starting point is 00:15:55 I don't quite know what's going. on, but we would be grateful for everyone to step up ASAP. And all right, so we've got some updates here. This weekend, I was, Suzanne and I were at a wedding in Dallas, and we, I posted it on Instagram. If you follow me on Instagram, you can see a little bit of what that was like. Our friends, great friends, great brother and sister in Christ, Kenny Trout and Lisa Trout. They, my goodness, their daughter, Savannah, got married to Ben Stubbs. And this was one of those
Starting point is 00:16:37 weddings you'll never forget. I think I could say literally, I don't know if there's ever been a wedding with more flowers anywhere. I'm not even kidding. Like, I don't want to imagine what they would have spent on flowers, but I'm not kidding. I do not think this is their only daughter and they're an extraordinary couple and they pulled out all the stops. This was one of those weddings. I have literally never seen more flowers. I mean, at a wedding in my life, that's an understatement. I don't think in my life I've ever seen a wedding with one-tenth of the flowers at this wedding. It was gorgeous. It was extravagant. It was so beautiful. And we had an amazing time. We love Dallas. I mean, I get to Dallas all the time. And I think we have more friends in Dallas for sure than we do in New York
Starting point is 00:17:32 at this point. It's incredible. But the trouts sat us at our table next to some friends. And to our right, we were seated, and I put this on my Instagram. You can see the picture. We were seated right next to Bob Baffert. Some of you know who that is. He is a legend. in the world of horse racing. In the last 10 years, there's been some controversy about doping horses, whatever. So he's been in the news like crazy. We sat next to him and talked to him.
Starting point is 00:18:08 What a fascinating character. I want to get him on the program. He is just very entertaining and interesting and funny, very real, and just a joy to get to talk to Bob Bafford. I mean, absolutely fascinating. And so, but there was so. I'm not a horse racing guy. Is he an owner or he was a jockey?
Starting point is 00:18:32 Oh, no. No, no, no, no. He's a trainer. He's the most famous trainer in horse racing history. Really? He has more winning horses. He trained, Justify, which are friends, the trouts through Windstar Farm. That was one of their horses.
Starting point is 00:18:51 And it won the Triple Crown. And I think it was 2018, I think. He doesn't happen to look like a small motorized rabbit, does he? Because I've seen that guy train a lot of horses. No, no, I don't think so. But close enough. But it was so amazing to be there. And Suzanne and I had the privilege a number of years ago being at Belmont when Justify won the Triple Crown.
Starting point is 00:19:20 And I have a photo of it. We were up in the grandstands, basically. So, but anyway, it was just an amazing wedding. Congratulations to Savannah and Ben and to the whole, to the Trout family, to the Stubbs family. But I just felt very privileged to be there. And again, we just love Dallas. But actually, since I'm talking about it, I'm going to be doing a lot of traveling. I might as well mention it before we get into everything else because I want to talk about Trump and the, the auto pen pardons, the Joe Biden pardons.
Starting point is 00:19:53 But I want to say that this week, this Friday, and we still have room, Palm Beach, we've expanded the dinner. Everybody wants to go to the dinner. So we've expanded. We've got a new venue. I'm doing Socrates in the city in Palm Beach on Friday with Senator Josh Hawley. We're talking about his book on manhood. If you want to meet Senator Hawley, you can come this Friday to Palm Beach. Socrates in the city.com is the website.
Starting point is 00:20:19 We're doing a Socrates in the city event in Lexington, Kentucky, April. April 16th. I'm interviewing Dr. Larry Arne, the president of Hillsdale. He's an American hero. That'll be April 16th, Socrates in the city. Then we have a May Socrates in the city in New York City, where it all began, where I am right now. With Melanie Phillips, she is a big deal. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:20:45 I can't believe I finally get to interview her. Socrates in the city, May 13th in New York City. So every month, this month, next month. in Lexington, Kentucky, May in New York City, and June in Athens, Greece, folks. We are doing a Socrates in the city in Athens, Greece. We are trying to get Socrates himself. It's going to be tough because he's been dead for almost 25 centuries, but we're trying to get his wife, Santhippe. She's rumored to be a shrewish woman.
Starting point is 00:21:16 She also may be dead. We're looking into, I have staff looking into it. But it's going to be Socrates and City in April. Sorry, in June, in Athens, Greece. we're doing kind of a pre-cruz thing. So before we go on the cruise, which leaves on June 6th from Athens, we're doing all this kind of Athens, pre-ethan stuff. Now, people told me yesterday that they want to go on the cruise,
Starting point is 00:21:35 and they went to the website, and it said sold out. That is not true. It is not sold out. So I want to be real clear. I want to be real clear. Call them up. Demand your rights. If you want to go on this cruise, I know there's room,
Starting point is 00:21:49 and we're going to get to the bottom of why it says sold out. But go to Eric Matak's. com slash cruise ericmetaxis.com slash cruise ericmetaxis.com slash cruise ericmataxis.com slash cruise there's a phone number but I know there's room and we're excited we've got 275 people already signed up it's exciting we'll be right back a generation of kids in el salvador are lost to malnutrition and the only way to a better future is through a school feeding program join me eric metaxis in saving lives with food for the poor. Starting point is 00:24:16 So welcome back. This is that time where I get to talk about goals. with the experts. Actually with one expert, our friend Colin Plume, who's the CEO and founder of noble gold. Colin, welcome back. Eric, nice to be here.
Starting point is 00:24:42 Always a pleasure to be on your show. Well, it's always fun to talk about gold. It's sort of funny. Gold is just one of those things. Everybody likes gold for different reasons, I guess. But I have to ask you, just because it's so entertaining to me, that most people know that at Fort Knox,
Starting point is 00:25:01 There is, I don't know, tons of gold, you know, literally tons of gold. Talk about that because President Trump and Elon Musk in the last weeks we're talking about whining to see if it's all there or what, can you help us understand what that's about? I just find that painting. Well, and this is something that since I've been in the business, I've been doing this for 16 years. People have always said they should do it on it. They haven't done a full audit in 50 years. and, you know, people have a normal distrust of the government.
Starting point is 00:25:35 And why haven't they done an audit? Why haven't they shown if this is the country's assets, which they are, we should be able to see what they have. They did a partial audit in 1974 right after we got off the gold standard with Nixon, but they only did about 5%. What's interesting, too, there's multiple layers that are interesting. But one thing that's interesting is that when they did the last audit, partial audit in 1974, they valued the gold.
Starting point is 00:26:00 at $42.22, which was the value at that time. They've never revalued the gold to today's prices. So a lot of this conversation with Musk and Trump is we're going to, we should redo an audit again, make sure we have the gold. Hopefully we do. And then they should revalue it to closer to today's price. And now what price they would value at is interesting because if they took the amount of tons of gold we have, which is 8,100.
Starting point is 00:26:30 44. And if they did what I believe, which is $4,000 an ounce, which is higher than what it is state. But if they did that, we'd have a trillion dollars in value. And that would be a trillion dollars on our balance sheet that we didn't have before. Now, hang on a second. How much gold is there? 8,144 tons. Tons of gold. And that's theoretically what's at Fort Knox. Not all at Fort Knox. Bank of New York. We have one more location, but between the three locations. It's actually the one thing that, and everybody says, like, why are we doing this?
Starting point is 00:27:09 But it is kind of mysterious because we did an audit in 1941, and we had over 20,000 tons of gold. We had 80% of the world's gold at that time. We do the Bretton Wars Exchange because the pound is struggling, and we become the world's reserve currency. And part of that was because we had the most gold. People trusted us as a strong government, a strong currency. Great Britain was having a tailspin after World War II. They were just in financial problems.
Starting point is 00:27:40 So we became the big dollar there. From that 20,000 that they audit in 1941 to 1974, we go from 20,000 to 8,144 tons. There's never been any explanation as to why we don't have those 12,000 tons. There's nowhere. You can't find anything about it. So I think this general distrust is warranted in the fact that the government has sold gold without us knowing because they did it for that 30-year time period. Obviously, it would have been great if we kept that gold.
Starting point is 00:28:17 It made no sense. Our country was booming after World War II. It made no sense to sell the gold, but we did. So, yeah, so the idea is they'd, go and they audit, they revalue it to today, and then they could do a few different things. Maybe they do gold bonds that are backed by the gold, or maybe it just puts money on our balance sheet that we've never had to make our debt look a little bit smaller. And that's why I think the trillion dollar value makes the most sense, because we're 36 trillion
Starting point is 00:28:43 dollars in debt, and we're trying to chip away with Doge and everything that we're doing. So I think they're going to revalue the gold at some point in the next few weeks, a few months to either that $4,000 or current market value. And also simply to determine how much is there. But that, again, that's sort of like saying, oh, we've spent billions of dollars, but we're not sure where it went. That's so unacceptable. How is it even conceivable that we need to, like, you know, check on what we have? I'm just astonished to even hear such a thing.
Starting point is 00:29:15 Well, because I think this is the first time that we've actually had a lot of transparency that we're trying to get to a more transparent government, right? I think, you know, what we're seeing with Doge and them going in and stripping things apart, finding all this money that we've lost and all this, you know, all these things that we spent money on that we didn't need. This is really the first time that people are saying, like, we don't, we want to see inside. We want to see the balance sheets. We want to see the profit and loss statement, right? I mean, that's what's happening. And I think that's why it's, and Elon Musk brought this to people's attention. I mean, on his ex post, he did this meme that said, like, the gold's
Starting point is 00:29:50 gone. Like, he actually doesn't know if the gold's there. President Trump doesn't know. There's, None of these two people, the two most powerful people in the world right now don't actually know if we have the gold there. So I think people want to know if it's there. And whether it's there, you know, it'll show that gold is powerful and it's a big part of our economy and it makes sense. If it's not there, you know, it'll be interesting to see what happens to the price of gold, you know, because if the 8,144 tons, if maybe only half is there, then where's the gold in the world? you know, who has the most gold. There's all these questions. And I think, I want to keep talking to you about this, but I want to everybody to hear me say, folks, if you want to get gold, we want you to go to noble gold.
Starting point is 00:30:35 I would say go to Eric Metaxusgold.com, ericmetaxisgold.com. It is so beautiful. You probably know that, but it's so beautiful. Eric Mataxis gold.com. Noble Gold, we obviously trust them. It's why I have Colin on the show. It's just fascinating. We're living in exciting times.
Starting point is 00:31:00 It's my recommendation to you that you do this for many reasons. We'll get into when we come back. But go to Eric Metaxisgold.com. We'll be right back. Welcome back. I'm talking to Colin Plum, who's a CEO founder of Noble Gold, and we're having fun. At least, it's fun for me, talk. about these kinds of things. There's something just undeniably fascinating about gold. I mean,
Starting point is 00:31:36 there's a reason that, you know, people want gold. It has this value that it has. There's so much to say about it. But we've been talking about how much gold we have at Fort Knox and how this becomes a question and government transparency. And it's just, it's so fascinating to me that we're at a point where we have a president daring to ask questions like, hey, we'd like to know if how much is there and what it's worth. Now, I guess the question, Colin, is it, are they suggesting maybe you said that some of it had been sold, but we don't have a full accounting of how much? Well, we know that when they did the audit in 1941, we had over 20,000 tons, and then they did an audit again in 1974, and we had 8,144. That's the last time we did a, we didn't do a full audit,
Starting point is 00:32:25 but a partial audit. So there was about 12,000 tons that were sold or leased or something happened. There's no record of what happened there, but we know that there was, you know, gold that was no longer available to us in our audit. So I think what's happening is that this new administration is looking at all the assets they have. They're obviously selling or they're trying to sell a lot of the real estate that they don't need. I don't know how well that's going to do. And, you know, there's a lot of empty real estate in the country. So I don't know if it's the greatest time, but that's something they're trying to move.
Starting point is 00:32:58 They're trying to get that out, get it into private hands because we have too much office. and too much real estate that that's not profitable for the government. And then the other question is, like, what other assets do we own as a government that are valuable? And that's why gold has become a very hot topic is that they want to know how much gold we have and put it on our balance sheet is something that we have as a positive. If you look at them valuing gold in 1874, $44, and then today, let's say valuing at $3,000, you go from, you know, a few hundred million to almost a, almost a trillion dollars in value that we add to the balance sheet, which I think would be a good thing for our government to show that.
Starting point is 00:33:37 So gold has really become something in the forefront. And I think a big reason is obviously gold last year to today has outperformed the S&P and the NASDAQ and all the big exchanges. Gold is up 46% from January last year to today. So it's skyrocketed. but I think that people know now that with inflation sitting around 3%, that's kind of the new norm. 2%'s really gone.
Starting point is 00:34:01 I don't think we're going to get back there anytime soon, that we're in a position where if inflation is 3, 4%, what assets can you hold that do well as your dollar is losing value? And that's why I think a lot of people are talking about gold is because it's a good asset. It's a limited supply asset. And so that's why not only the government's talking about it, but just overall the world is talking about gold. And I want to be clear with my audience.
Starting point is 00:34:28 If they have questions about this, they can go to Eric Mataxisgold.com. Correct. Or they can, I'll give the number, folks, because I know people are listening to this, and they're kind of wondering about what they want to do. The number, if you're interested, is 877-646-5-3-447. 877, 646, 5347. Because what you're saying, Colin, and you've said it before, and it's true, this is, it's a hedge against inflation. This is something that you and I recommend. It's kind of a basic thing. And realistically, I mean, if somebody says, okay, I want to put some of my money into gold,
Starting point is 00:35:15 you guys can hold it or you can send it to people. You get, you get people. Yeah, we can do it. So a lot of people with us, they do it. We really cut our teeth in the market through the gold IRA, silver IRA space. So that's we, if you have an IRA, an old 401k, a TSP, you can actually put that in physical gold, you know, these, these items. We do all the paperwork. We make it really easy for you. So, yeah, so we could do it that way in an IRA. And a lot of people, they have multiple IRAs. So it makes sense because maybe you have one in the stock market. And then you got one that you want to diversify. That's why a lot of people do this with us. which is kind of what you were mentioning, Eric, is like, this is like a hedge, right? So if you're a little concerned about the stock market, and, you know, even President Trump said, this could be a bumpy year for the stock market. You know, obviously he's, you know, with tariffs, he's doing a lot of house cleaning and we're having to get out from what we did from the last administration. So it could be a bumpy year or two.
Starting point is 00:36:10 So if you're looking to diversify, we can do that IRA, silver, gold, platinum, plating, or if you just have some cash and you're not happy with their turn and you want to get into something else. We can just ship it directly to your doorstep. And we're shipping right now in less than a week. In a nondescript package, you know, shows up at your doorstep. And, and so we say contains gold, please steal. No, it's, yeah. No, it's, it's, it's, what we do is the box looks like anything. We send you the tracking number. You have to sign for it. You know, it's, it's, it's, and we've had really good, we've shipped to Eric just, it's hard to believe. But in eight years, we've shipped $1.3 billion in gold to people's doorstep.
Starting point is 00:36:48 So we've done it a lot. And I can tell you on one hand, how many times we've had a problem and all that shipment that we've done. So it's a pretty good. We only had silver shipped to us because I'm a humble writer. But I got to tell you, there's something very exciting about getting this package and opening it up. And there is silver. It's just, it's beautiful. And there's something just fascinating about it.
Starting point is 00:37:14 I mean, you know this. But just to look at it, to hold it. I think because we live in a world that's increasingly ethereal, digital, to actually hold something. And you say this has a certain value. There's just something beautiful about it and kind of grounding. Like, it's real. But so the website is Eric Mataxisgold.com. Ericmetaxisgold.com.
Starting point is 00:37:39 The phone number 877-646-3347. If I can hold you on for a few more minutes, Colin, I want to talk to you about your book, Silver is the new oil. Yes, absolutely. When did that come out? It came out in December of last year, and it was a project for, I mean, you write a lot, so you know how hard it is. It took about two years to formulate.
Starting point is 00:38:08 And what I wanted the book to do, really during the pandemic, you know, I realize that part of the idea behind Silver was that, I think it's got this potential like what oil was 120 years ago. I'm not saying it's going to replace oil. I'm saying that I think the profit potential and the amount of usage is similar to what oil was in the late 1800s and the 1900s where it's starting to address a lot of energy sources, solar panels, electric vehicles, obviously technology. It's in everything. And people don't realize how many things we use that have silver. So I wanted to paint that story.
Starting point is 00:38:48 And then also I give tips about alternative ways to create wealth, which I want to hold you over because I want to talk more about this. Folks, if you want to know more about this, if you want to get gold, you want to get silver, or if you have questions, go to Eric Mataxisgold.com. Ericmetaxis gold.com. If you prefer to speak to someone, 877646-3347. That's 8776465347. Folks, welcome back talking to Colin Plume with Noble Gold. And Colin, you know, you're sharing some stuff. I've shared on the program before about when you talk about something like silver,
Starting point is 00:39:40 I tend not to think about this kind of thing because I think about, you know, silver coins. You know, Suzanne has a package in the mail of these beautiful silver coins that Noble Gold sent us. And I look at it and I think of it that way. But obviously, maybe not so obvious. silver is used in all kinds of applications. And so you're saying that because of that, it's going to increase in value. It's a good investment. And in your book, silver is the new oil.
Starting point is 00:40:10 You talk about some of that. You were just mentioning some of those. Keep going on that. Yeah, so industrial demand 10 years ago to today, they have double the amount of industrial uses for silver than from 10 years ago. So there's just so many industries that are gobbling up silver that need it, including the government, including defense. The government actually last year bought $400 million in silver and about $100 million in gold. It was a four to one ratio.
Starting point is 00:40:40 So they bought more silver than gold because they used silver, drones, warheads, all of these things. They actually, I tried to find it in my book, but I couldn't find anybody that would tell me how much silver they used because they don't want the public to know, right? They kept it under wraps. But that's just one of the areas and the government continue. And every year they're buying silver, people don't realize that silver has doubled over the last five years. Yet it's still half the price of where it was in 1983 when the Hunt brothers try to corner the market. So even though it's doubled in the last five years, it's still got a lot of room to run. So I really like where silver is sitting today.
Starting point is 00:41:22 I like the price of it, but it has to do with the underlying value and why people continue to use it. If you just look at solar panel usage alone, that's 17% of the usage. It continues to grow as people add this to their homes. That's not going anywhere. So they're used between 10 and 25 grams of silver and every solar panel. And then a little known fact that's just kind of a silly thing, but it kind of adds to the value is that most refrigerators today have one to two ounces of silver. and it's unlikely that someone's going to go to a place where the refrigerators, the old ones are, and pull that silver out, right? Because it's worth 60 bucks. If it was gold, they would do it. They'd rip that refrigerator open.
Starting point is 00:42:06 So what I'm saying is that they only recycle between 4 and 5 percent of the industrial uses. So as much as they're trying to find it in Mexico and in the U.S., they're not recycling a huge amount of it either, which means that they have to continue to find more. more and mining gets more expensive. And obviously, everybody knows what labor, inflation is doing to everything. So the price, the underlying price has to go up because it just costs a lot of money to pull it out of the ground. Well, your book is silver is the new oil. Yes. Much more about it. But, you know, folks are basic recommendation here.
Starting point is 00:42:46 You understand that, you know, the economy is, it's always volatile. but the next year or two, it's probably going to be tough in any circumstances, but especially now, gold and silver are the safest bet. It's even safe. It's better than safe. So if you're interested in doing that, getting some gold, getting some silver in various ways, you can go to Eric McIntax's gold.com. Eric Mattaxasus gold. If you have questions, you want to talk somebody, you can call 8.7. 67, 646, 5347, 877, 646-5347. And again, the website, Noble Gold, you can go to Ericmetaxisgold.com. Ericmetaxis gold.com. It's an exciting opportunity.
Starting point is 00:43:40 It's good, Colin, to be able to talk to somebody that I trust on these important issues. Thanks for partnering with us. And congratulations on the book, Silver is the New Oil. Thanks for being with us. Thank you.
