Hey there, folks. Welcome to the show. It's my pretty.
privilege to introduce you today to someone to whom I have just been introduced. I'm talking about
Pastor Alan Mashburn. Pastor Alan Mashburn is one of those crazy pastors who doesn't understand
that you got to keep religion out of politics. You should never mix the two. Well, maybe I'm
kidding. Alan Mashburn is running, Pastor Alan Mashburn is running to be the 36th Lieutenant
governor of North Carolina. Now, I don't know if you folks know, but the current lieutenant governor
of North Carolina is a hothead, a Christian named Mark Robinson, who is just one of the brightest
lights in American politics today. So he, I'm told by Pastor Alan Mashburn is going to be running
for governor, praise the Lord, and Pastor Alan Mashburn is running for lieutenant governor. All I can tell you is
I'm ready to move to North Carolina if this happens.
Pastor Alan Mashburn, welcome to this program.
Well, thank you, Eric.
It's an honor to be on.
I appreciate all of you you have done in promoting conservatism and Christian causes.
Well, listen, you and I know that we forget about conservatism and Christian causes.
We're just interested in truth.
And it just so happens that in this crazy day and age, that falls into the category of conservatism or Christian causes.
But it used to fall in the category of common sense and reaction.
and we are now at a point where the insane left, sometimes the demonic left, has been really at war with
reality and with the God of the Bible, with his reality, and with everywhere we look.
So we're seeing moral corruption.
We've never seen anything like it, let's be honest, in our lifetimes, never seen anything like it.
So it thrills me that you who are a pastor are running for lieutenant governor.
in North Carolina. I heard Mark Robinson speak, I don't know, about a year ago, some place,
and I thought, wow, this is tremendous that we have men of God running for public office,
winning public office. I want to talk to you about everything, but give me a little bit of
a background on yourself. Where did you grow up and how did you come to be who you are today?
Well, I grew up in Central North Carolina, and North Carolina has always been home,
except for the time I moved away in college.
I have been a pastor for over 30 years, and I have a family, of course, my wife, Melissa.
We have four children all the way from ages 19 down to age four.
I suppose I started looking around and asking God, what should I do, and how I should be involved.
Mark Robinson and I have been good friends for over two years and been very involved in a project called the American Renewal Project,
which has been very successful here and in other states in mobilizing people of Christian faith
to be involved in the public square.
And we have no choice.
I can't think of a future for my children that they're going to have if we do not take a stand today.
We're living in a post-modernistic society where everyone can have their own truth.
The same ones who believe that men can get pregnant are the climate,
alarmist, and they wonder why we don't respect that.
It's because you do not respect truth.
You do not embrace it.
You're full of falsehoods and stupidity.
Well, the good news, I think, is that most Americans are aware of this.
Like, things have gotten so crazy.
I say this over and over.
Things have gotten so crazy that a lot of people that would not be on board with you or me
or Mark Robinson are looking around and thinking, wait a minute, what in the
the world is happening. We've always had a little bit of crazy, but things have gotten just,
you know, in bright colors, super crazy. And so a lot of people are waking up. So it's a good thing
in many ways that the radical, really atheistic left has been unable to control itself and has,
in a sense, shown us what they believe and what they stand for because a lot of people are
standing up and doing something about it. And one of the greatest things you could
do about it is run for office. So I just want to say thank you to you for stepping up and being
willing to run as lieutenant governor of the great state of North Carolina. You've not been political
before this or have you dabbled in politics because I know you've been a pastor.
No, I've never been involved in politics. Always had an interest and definitely was involved
in studying and voting and how we should vote and encouraging people to be involved,
but never had an appetite for politics, and I still do not.
But I know that we have to take a stand.
We have, in our state of North Carolina, we have the same problems everyone else does,
the Marxism in public schools.
The lieutenant governor sits on the state board of education here.
And he has an active role that can,
be very beneficial. We've got to embrace those roles. You mentioned that people are waking up. People are.
But I'm seeing a lot of people wake up, but I'm not seeing a lot of people become engaged. I think
there's a fear factor there that they have to overcome. Yeah, you're going to have to get out of your
comfort zone. Too much blood has been shed on the battlefields of the world by our veterans that have
taken a stand for liberty and freedom for us not to get involved. And we have got to protect this
for the future of our children, future generations.
And, hey, you've got to put yourself out there
because if they're willing to run toward bullets,
I can take words.
Well, you're singing my song.
I've said this many times.
I preach in churches, and there's almost not a sermon that I preach
where I don't refer to the blood given by patriots,
many of whom were not born-again believers.
So shame on the believers for,
being so cowardly in many cases that we are, that we're shamed by people that they do not have
the faith way do we do, but they see the basics. They see that liberty is a gift, that it is a
rare thing and that we have to give our lives sometimes for it. And I really think that there are
people waking up, but as you say, we need to exhort them to action. And folks, when you say,
what can I do? You can do anything. Just don't do nothing, but do something. One of the things I say
to people to do, two things I say to people do is if you're going to a church that is avoiding this
stuff, get out of that church yesterday. Do not give a dime of your money, which is God's money,
do not give a minute of your time to a church that is part of the problem that is going along
with this. We need people who are awake to where we are and that are willing to
stand up for truth, speak out. Now, you mentioned the American Renewal Project. That's David Lane,
is it not? That is David Lane. They've done a tremendous job across the land.
David Lane is a hero. I need to have him back on this program, just a total hero. So you decided,
as a pastor, that you wanted to run for office. There are lots of people who wouldn't have
run for office a few years ago, but they're realizing that I need to do this. I know that some of the J6
prisoners are running for office.
What was done to them is going to boomerang because they are more than anybody awake to the evil
that's working around us and among us.
When you decided to run for the tenant governor, how did that come about?
Just because I just love the idea that people who aren't ordinarily inclined to do that say,
I need to do this.
Well, and I'm going to reveal some things on here that some folks that want me to take a side on a gubernatorial candidate,
probably not going to like, but they can just lump it.
Mark Robinson and I have been friends for, I don't know how many years, and we pray together,
we've talked together, and that's how this started.
It started in the American Renewal Project.
David Lane brought it to North Carolina.
He started having Mark Robinson as lieutenant governor once he was in.
inaugurated as the speaker. And we would have between two and three hundred people for,
and we're talking about pastors, two and three hundred pastors at each luncheon. And Mark would
speak and I would be with him the entire time. And the Lord just knit our hearts together.
And we started talking. And I said, well, you need to run for governor. He's like, yeah, we're thinking
about it. I said, well, you're going to have to have somebody that's going to stand with you and
stand strong because we've never been, we're in unprecedented waters. We are absolutely in uncharted
waters in the United States of America and we're going to go to a break. Folks, the rest of the story,
you don't want to miss this. I'm talking to Pastor Allen Mashburn. Don't go away.

Welcome back. I'm talking to Pastor Alan Mashburn. He is running to be the lieutenant governor
of North Carolina. You were just saying Pastor Alan Mashburn, you were just saying that
Mark Robinson, who is currently lieutenant governor,
had been thinking about running for governor,
and you said you're going to need somebody to stand with you.
And there's no doubt about it,
that the madness that we're seeing,
we need people of faith to run for office.
And we've been living with this lie,
this confused idea that we're supposed to keep our politics out of our faith,
or faith out of our politics,
as if you can separate.
We're just talking about truth.
We're just talking about reality.
We're just talking about the moral foundations of our nation, without which we cannot have liberty.
So I guess what you're about to say is that you said maybe I'm that man, or did he say it?
How did that happen that you thought that you'd make a great team?
Well, I won't go into specific details because I have to say that's not an official endorsement yet from him.
Yeah.
I will say this, that after prayer and consideration between both he,
and I and our spouses, we decided to go this route and run based on this because I think one of the
things that conservatives fail in doing so is they do not formulate a plan. The left is always
together. We have to formulate a show of force specifically in these unprecedented days against
what we have. So we need leadership with backbone. Politics as usual must die.
We're in uncharted territory.
And for those who would say that it's not the Christian's job to be involved in politics,
show me the verse, show me the text.
God established, if you want to be theological about it, God established civil government.
Why would he want us involved in something that he established?
Well, I have written in my book, Letter to the American Church, and everywhere I go I talk about this issue.
The idea that Christians shouldn't be involved in politics is unbiblical.
And if something's unbiblical, we know where it's from the pit of hell.
When I think of William Wilberforce, in politics, standing against the wicked slave trade because of his Christian faith, over and over through history, people because of their faith stood up where no one else was willing to stand because of their Christian faith.
So that idea is a lie.
It has caused the church to be silent and quiet and inactive.
And as I say, in letter to the American church, it's leading us precisely where it led Germany in the 1930s, where the church said, oh, we're going to sit back.
We don't want to be divisive.
We don't want to be political.
Because of that, evil was able to take over on a level that is absolutely unprecedented.
And I say over and over, that is exactly what is happening today in the America.
church. Folks, if you are not a part of the solution, one way or the other, you are part of the
problem. Because those who did nothing or thought they could sit on the fence, the devil owns the
fence. He's very happy for you to sit on the fence. And so when I hear about folks getting
involved in politics, you know, I think of the Black Rope Regiment, there has never been
any reason for people of faith to say I shouldn't be involved in politics. But that idea has caught hold.
very many people are confused by it.
And we have a lot of people in leadership pastors who are very, what's the word I'm looking for?
In a sense, they're just afraid.
They don't understand things.
And I hope a lot of them will come to see that they're afraid and will repent because they can repent.
They need to repent and they need to understand what God is requiring of people.
fate. So I want to get specific because you're talking about a lot of things. You've written a number of
articles at American greatness. Can people find them at American greatness? Yes. American greatness.com. We've
got several out there. I think another one's getting read to drop soon. Okay. So American
greatness, which is AM greatness, am greatness.com. You talk about, there's one article you wrote that
societies that surrender their moral foundations historically self-destruct. There's no doubt about
that in the United States of America that, if you don't,
have a virtuous populace, if you don't have a citizenry, which basically acts like it believes
in a higher power, not that the government is a higher power, but there's a real higher power
in God. There's no way to have the liberty that we have. That's just like math. That's basic.
We've not been teaching that in the schools, but you write about that in this article.
Yeah, you can legislate morality all day long and give a punishment for doing something wrong,
but it doesn't take away the intent. It doesn't take away the desire in the heart. Only the
gospel can do that, only change life. So if we don't get back to our moral compass as where we were as a
nation, we're doomed. And we see the left dismantling everything. And we're allowing it to happen.
We're to be the salt and light of the world. And when the light is not shining, the darkness is
completely overtaken. Well, I mean, and we're not, folks, we're not talking about churches that are
hanging out rainbow flags and Black Lives Matter flags. We already know where they see.
stand. We're talking about the churches that say, uh, we don't want any trouble. We're just,
uh, we're just going to avoid these issues. Well, if you avoid the issues, you're part of the
problem. Uh, and I just want to say, uh, you know, when I wrote about Dietrich Bonhofer,
he came, uh, to America in 1930. And he saw that the Protestant white churches, the big
churches were already dead. They were dead in 1930. We're talking 90 plus.
years ago. They were all dead. And he went to a black church in Harlem. And he looked around and he thought,
oh, these are the Christians. These are the ones that are activists. When there's a lynching down
south, they put out a flag and say, we stand against this. We're not afraid to be political.
We're not afraid to be. You've got to live out your faith in every sphere. But we know the mainline
Protestant churches ceased to do that long ago and are now not just, you know, neutral, but
they're participating in the corruption, really, of our moral foundations. There's no question about it.
Yeah, if we're not living out our faith, then it's not real. Faith should permeate every aspect
of how we think and feel and even act, because if so, then we're going to be involved in the
day-to-day operations of our government, the day-to-day operations of our land. It's true,
It's been true in every culture.
The Romans, the Babylonians, the Persians, the Macedonians.
Every one of them had similar downfalls.
And I fear this for our country if we don't come back to a spiritual renewal of our moral
common.
And there's no doubt that God is the only answer to these things.
But folks, I've got to tell you something, God points to you.
He wants to fill you with His Holy Spirit so he can use you.
that is his plan. You are his plan. The church is his plan. And so if you claim to be a Christian,
but you are not doing God's will while you're here, well, then God really can't do it because he has
actually created us in his image so that if we don't do his will, his will doesn't get done. And that's
a chilling responsibility that we have. Now, you mentioned Pastor Ashburn, you know, these other
civilizations. And think of the irony. These other civilizations did not have Christian roots.
This nation clearly is appointed by God to be a beacon of liberty in the world in a new way, unlike anything we'd ever seen before.
So we don't have the excuse that some of these other civilizations did because everyone in this country, Christian, non-Christian, everyone in this country has a voice and can use his voice and can do things, can run for office, can get involved politically, can involve in the school board, can involve writing letters to the editor, can do every kind of thing, can homeschool your kids.
We can do so much.
And so we don't have the excuses.
So to my mind, the stakes are higher for us.
There is infinitely less reason for us to go down this path of moral decay because we are not like those other empires and nations.
Every one of these nations and cultures were ruled under tyrannical rule.
America has been a beacon of truth and a beacon of freedom and liberty for decades, for centuries.
And yes, God holds us to a higher standard in that regard.
A lot of people in the church are praying and asking God to move.
Well, God's given us all the tools.
Just like you said, we're created in his image.
When are we going to move?
When are we going to exhibit freedom and liberty and everything that God has given to us?
So it boils down to we're fearful.
And if we're fearful, we're going to be a nation.
that comes back. It's going to be in full circle. We're going to be under tyrannical rule. And we've seen
that. What we've seen with the J6 prisoners, what we've seen now with President Trump, he's a
representative man of what they want to do with all of us. They want to jail us. They want to shut us up.
They want to eradicate our voices from the fabric of our society. So it's either stand up now
or you lose everything. Well, that's a fact. And again, I'm saying this,
ever I go only because it's true, folks. And the thing is, you cannot escape this. God will judge you.
If you avoid doing what he has made you to do, then evil will result. And you can't say, well, I didn't
know because the Germans said, well, we didn't know. The fact of the matter is that that nation
really went to hell, basically, as a result of the silence and inaction of the church.
And it's the church that ought to know better.
Other people have different excuses.
We'll be right back.
We're talking to Pastor Alan Mashburn.
You can find him at American greatness.com.
Tell me why Relief Factor is so successful at lowering or eliminating pain.
I'm often asked that question just the other night.
I was asked that question.
Well, the owners of Relief Factor tell me they believe our bodies were designed to heal.
That's right, designed to heal.
And I agree with them.
And the doctors who formulated Relief Factor for them selected the four best
ingredients, yes, 100% drug-free ingredients, and each one of them helps your body deal with inflammation.
Each of the four ingredients deals with inflammation from a different metabolic pathway.
That's the point.
So approaching from four different angles may be why so many people find such wonderful relief.
If you've got back pain, shoulder, neck, hip, knee, or foot pain from exercise or just getting

We're talking to Pastor Alan Mashburn, who is in North Carolina, who's running for lieutenant governor, North Carolina.
And we're talking about so many different things.
The main thing we're talking about here is this issue.
You know, you're a pastor who has decided to run for office, and this lie that has crept into the culture and crept into the church in spades to neutralize the church is that, well, we don't need to do anything.
We just need to believe, and I'm going to heaven.
And ladies and gentlemen, that is not a biblical view.
The biblical view is you need to live out your faith.
If you don't, that is proof you have no faith.
And if you think you're saved by faith and you have no faith,
you're in trouble. And so a lot of us have been blithely drifting along. Dietrich Bonhofer tried to warn the
German church about this in the 1930s, and we know that his warning fell on deaf ears, and we know what
happened then. But it's been happening here, and it gets to what we were talking about, Pastor
Mashburn, about almost any issue can be a political issue. Every moral issue is a political issue.
When people talk about the southern border, we have children being raped and sex trafficked, and people act
like, well, I don't want to get involved in politics. That's a political thing. I don't want to
speak against President Biden or Kamala Harris. And you think, ladies and gentlemen, if you don't
speak out, women and children are being sex traffic. Can you even imagine the satanic evil of
those cartels, of the violence, of the drug trafficking, of what is going on? That is a moral
issue. If you don't speak up against that, what is your excuse? You're in the United States of America
where people have died so that you can be free and speak your mind and act and do everything that you can do.
And if you're doing nothing or looking away, you've bought the lie.
And that's kind of where we are today.
Absolutely.
And, you know, the Democratic Party claims to be the tolerant left.
And they claim to be the party that exposes all of the slavery aspects.
But this is the slavery of the 21st century.
and it's fallen on deaf ears of the Democratic Party.
They act as if it doesn't exist.
They don't want to focus on it.
You cannot get them to say not one word.
In one county adjacent to me where I'm at,
we see missing persons all the time,
and we never see updates that they're ever found.
In Maui, they're telling us that there are over 1,000 children
that have they've not been found.
They're not declaring them dead.
They just said they disappeared.
So we have a government that doesn't see a problem.
So if you're complicit, then you absolutely are, you're aiding and abetting this if you're not speaking out against it.
And this administration could definitely do something about this.
They could stop it today if they wanted to.
Well, I think the biggest, the most difficult thing in the last three years, let's say,
is for people like me and your average American really taking in.
the evilness of evil
to really understand like we're not living
in a post-evil world. We're living
in a world where there is evil
where there are people
who genuinely don't care
about
tremendous suffering
and wickedness being perpetrated
on their fellow human beings. I was raised
in a country where of course everybody cares about that
and even if some people are
advocating policies that aren't as effective
as others, everybody cares.
We've come to a place where we're forced to
that there are people who don't care.
They will just stick their fingers in their ears and cover their eyes and say,
I don't want to see it.
I don't want to care.
They cannot handle the fact that the film that came out, The Sound of Freedom,
is dealing with reality.
We had people on the left advocating against that film as a Q&on conspiracy.
And ladies and gentlemen, I'm telling you, that is, there's a wake-up call for all of us.
And I think that in the last few years, everybody's been getting a different wake-up call,
That's the moment I realized we're in a crazy world that I had never dreamt.
In America, I could be in a world where there are people who they not only don't care who lives or dies,
but they're advocating for policies that are causing people to die,
whether it's forcing experimental vaccines on people.
You can't get a job, can't go to a concert, you can't go to a concert, you can't do this, can't do that.
You better get the jab.
We are in, as you said, Pastor Mashburn, we're in totally uncharted territory.
and I appreciate why some people are slow to wake up because it's too horrible to take in,
but we need to take it in.
Yeah, I get it, and I think you hit the nail on the head because you just revealed the root
of the problem, the heart of the problem, the heart of the matter is the matter of the heart.
We have people today because we're now in generations past who have been absent a biblical
truth, who have, we've come to a point in this land that we're so far away from our,
our moral compass, our roots, that they don't have any feeling for anyone.
And that goes back to the home.
That goes back to, you can put it to the church, but I think it goes back to the home.
But, yes, I'm glad to see people that they're waking up, but we have got to wake up
and mobilize.
We have got to be involved.
We cannot allow this to happen in our land.
I wish I could convey the burning and the passion.
of my heart here because it's just it tears me apart to think that there's children in this world
who are crying every hour because their mom and dad has been ripped they've been ripped from the
mom and then johns ladies and gentlemen we've got more we're talking to pastor allen mashburn this is
as important as it gets don't go away with the overturn of roe v wade lots of companies are

folks I'm talking to Pastor Alan Mashburn, who's running for lieutenant governor in North Carolina.
Mark Robinson is running for governor, I guess.
Did he make that announcement, or are we just saying that he was thinking about it?
He did.
Yes, he made that announcement back in April.
Well, he is, you know, I thought he was just a black preacher because he preaches like no one I've ever seen.
But then I find out, oh, no, that's just a political speech.
which puts the lie to this idea that there's got to be separation between faith and politics.
Lauren Bobert is the same in Colorado.
When she gets to talking, they are not under the delusion, the lie, that faith and politics are separate.
We're talking about moral issues, and the church needs to lead in that and help people understand these are the moral issues.
We need to get involved.
And if somebody just wants to shut you up, they'll say, oh, you're being political.
that's a meaningless statement.
If you're against slavery, if you're against abortion, yeah, that can be political sometimes.
Who cares?
I want to talk to you about the transgender lunacy.
It has gotten so crazy, again, I think there are people waking up who would have been happy to stay asleep for 1,000 years.
You know, it doesn't even make sense.
I mean, transgender movement that has now become a,
so dominated in the media and pushed by many of the, all of the left, that if we speak out
against it, we're the, we're the lunatics. We're the people that are the hate mongers.
And we, thank God, we have passed some legislation here in this state.
We have a super majority in the General Assembly that passed legislation preventing transitional
surgeries and puberty blockers.
And it went to the governor.
He vetoed it, of course, and it was just overridden.
So we won't have that mess in North Carolina.
But, yes, I agree with you and how you introed it.
It's lunacy.
Men do not belong in women's sports.
And I want to go a step further.
Because I heard this reference the other day.
Well, transgender people can have their own sports.
We have to be careful not to justify this delusion.
We used to treat people, and I know this is going to be hit hard by the left, and I really do not care.
But we used to treat people that had this type of mental illness.
Now we enable it.
Now we promote it, and now we want to normalize it.
And the more we normalize it, the more it's going to be our problem.
Well, and again, we have to be, we have to state the obvious.
right? How broken do you have to be? I cannot imagine how broken someone would be that they would feel
that they want to be the other sex or would feel that they are somehow the other sex, despite the
biological reality. It is impossible for us really to comprehend how broken that is. And as Christians,
we weep for people who are broken. If I meet somebody,
who's convinced he's Julius Caesar or Jesus or Napoleon, I don't say, hey, good for you.
I weep at someone who is that broken. And so, of course, we need to weep because this is
brokenness on a level we can't even imagine most of us. But to affirm it is satanic. It is
absolutely satanic. We need to help these people. And whatever we can do, you know, we can't force people
to get help, but the point is they can't force us to go along with their craziness because it's
affecting the culture. And I think that, you know, there's a natural revulsion when you see a
man dressed as a woman. It's so discombobulating to see it. And anybody who's afraid to admit
that, I mean, listen, folks, this is as basic as it gets. This is very, very basic stuff. And
God created us male and female in his image. And what I find almost funny, Pastor Allen,
is that Christians in particular have no excuse. The Bible says we're made in God's image,
male and female. There's something sacred about maleness and femalness in God's image. He
created us this way. We're meant to come together to be one flesh to create life. It's as basic as
as it gets. You don't need to be a born-again believer to get that. And yet many in the church are just
saying, well, we don't want to talk about this. Folks, I'll say it again. If you go into that kind of a church,
get out of that church yesterday. Do you still pastor a church, Pastor Ashburn? I do. I do. I still
pastor and, you know, still plan on pastoring. I'm not looking for a second career.
What's the name of your church? And where is it? It's Asbury Baptist Church in Seagrove.
In Seagrove. We're in the central part of the state. Let me say something.
let's go away back to the Garden of Eden
because
here we are
in the Garden of Eden
what did Satan say to Eve to get her to eat of the fruit?
He wanted her to doubt God
ye shall not surely die
God's withholding something from you
we see later on that we're created
the image and the lightness of God
Satan has been
playing that ploy
ever since the Garden of Eden
doubting God wanting us to doubt
God, wanting us to doubt absolute truth. And that's exactly what we see today. Now when they're
taking this garbage into public education and wanting to teach it to kindergarten age children,
now they're grooming. Now they're teaching them to doubt the very absolute of anatomy
and to doubt the absolute of their mentality and everything that they are.
And so, yes, it is very satanic.
And when you do that specifically to a child, you become my enemy.
Oh, absolutely.
And we stand wholeheartedly against you, and we're going to storm against you with all the
truth that we have.
Well, look, it is just a delight to get to know you today, Pastor Alan Mashburn.
I am thrilled that Asbury Baptist Church exists in Seagrove, North Carolina, has you as the pastor.
I say to people, if you can drive to a church where they're preaching sanity, which is the good news of God and the truth of God,
you need to get to that church, you need to watch online, but you need to get away from churches that aren't getting this because we are in a war.
And look, if you don't care about yourself, you should care about your neighbor, care about your neighbor's children.
They are being under assault in an unprecedented way.
Every single one of us has a duty before God and to this nation in which we're privileged to live to do what we can.
So Pastor Alan Mashburn, God bless you, and thank you so much for your time.
It is an honor to be on your show, and thank you for all you do.
All right, somebody, Joni, I will not read her last name, but wrote a longish email to us.
And I said, this is so touching.
I want to read it on the air.
It says, Eric, hope you're well.
I wanted to send you some words of encouragement and thanks.
I hope this email will get to you.
It's been 20 years now this fall when I first came to Socrates in the city.
That's amazing.
I just moved to New York City, started attending a little Episcopal Church.
In the program one Sunday was a notice for Socrates in the city.
I thanked the Lord for that every day.
That was 2003.
I became a regular attender and supporter of Socrates in the city.
Lots has happened in between, but I still regularly listened to your podcast.
And seven years ago, my husband and I got to visit you in your studio at the Empire State Building.
All these years, you've been a mentor to me and an inspiration.
When my company almost fired me at the end of 2021 as a 25-year employee
because I would not get vaccinated and was pregnant and then nursing,
I listened to you and Naomi Wolf, and I stood strong.
They turned off my ID and I couldn't get into the office, but I kept praying.
Thankfully, I was not fired, but my company had to accept an exemption at the last minute
because of Governor DeSantis passing a law.
Unbelievable. In addition, because of hearing the David Delidin recording on your show, I found the best local pregnancy clinics where I live now in Miami to support and eventually got on the board of directors.
after Rovi Wade was overturned,
V. Wandals came to the clinics and to our gala.
We were approached by Liberty First,
and they asked to represent us in a lawsuit
against Antifa and Jane's revenge.
Because I'd heard about Liberty First on your show,
we felt comfortable moving forward.
We were the first pregnancy clinic in the country
to file a lawsuit, and the state of Florida
filed along with us.
Thank you for encouraging us not to be silent
in the face of evil.
You've been a light to me in this dark world.
Thank you for everything you do.
my husband, four kids, and I pray for you daily.
When you're in Miami on September 7th for the citykeeper's dinner,
I'll introduce myself again and say thank you once more, best Joni.
Folks, I have tears in my eyes reading something like this.
We are in a battle, but the Lord is with us in the battle.
You think how wonderful to have it confirmed to me that God is using me,
but I just want to say thank you, Joni, for writing that.
You know, sometimes I just can't believe what I'm reading.
Somebody named Buzz writes,
Hello, Mr. Metaxus.
I'm excited to attend the October 25th banquet
at which I'm told you'll be the keynote speaker.
You see, I'm just a grounds maintenance worker,
and I do the maintenance at the West Augusta Care Pregnancy Center.
This past year, there was a need for some major repairs at the facility,
and I saw God answer prayers to get the work done in an astonishing way.
I certainly have a story to tell.
excited me so much that I went to my pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Augusta to talk about it,
and First Presbyterian Church did become more involved in supporting the work of the pregnancy care center.
God bless this man buzz tool. Amazing. He says, I also discussed some things with my pastor that have
been troubling me that they didn't seem to want to talk about. Then right after that, God basically
threw your book letter to the American Church at me. See, this lawn care man doesn't read much lately,
but somehow God brought that book to my attention last September when it was out off the press, and I read it,
and I realized it was talking about the same topics I'd just been meeting with my pastor about.
So I gave, so I bought several copies of Letter to the American Church and gave them out to several of my preacher friends,
thinking maybe they'll finally get fired up about things.
I'll have to say sadly, that doesn't seem to be a case yet.
Anyway, this lawn care man has seen a lot happen in the past couple years,
especially around the Augustic Care Pregnancy Center, and I can hardly wait to hear you speak at the fundraiser banquet this October.
this guy named Buzz, you know, this is my dream come true that someone who claims he doesn't
read much is concerned. He's talking to his pastor about how his pastor needs to speak up about
the evil in the world, about the myriad things falling apart. And he actually goes and talks
to his pastor. That's amazing, folks. That needs to be you. And by the way, if you're at a church
where they really don't want to hear this stuff, they're not interested, you need to find another church.
I say this over and over again.
There are churches that get it.
You need to be a part of one of those churches.
Every single one of us needs to step up.
But I want to say, God bless you, Buzz,
for writing to us and letting us know that God put this on your heart
and that you actually, out of your own pocket,
are giving copies of my book to preach your friends.
It's just amazing.
When we come back, we're talking to a true gym of a man, Dutch sheets.
Don't go away.
