I continue my conversation with Patrick Byrne, and I've got to tell you, and that's B-Y-R-N-E, Patrick Byrne. Patrick, I did not say much about you. before you came on,

you were the head of overstock.com. So you're a wealthy, successful entrepreneur. You love your country, and that's how you got involved in all this stuff. And what we're talking about right now is your relationship, which became romantic with Maria Bettina, who's a key figure in all this kind of stuff.

And what you're saying, and I do think this is important, And that I've said this on the program, right? Most of us would have a view of Russia that we're kind of conflating it stupidly with the USSR, okay? Russia, ladies and gentlemen, when I think of the Russia of the Tsars, the 19th century Russia, that's not the same as the Russia of, you know, Lenin and Stalin, the satanic Russia that crushed anybody who loves liberty, that that, that. tortured people in the gulag that made Alexander Solzhenitsyn right, the Gulag archipelago.

That's the Soviet Union. That is communist, totalitarian, and wicked. When we talk about the Russia of the czar is obviously not perfect, but quite different. And so there's a national pride that the Russians have and that people like Vladimir Putin ties into that we need to be able to look at on its own. This does not mean that Vladimir Putin is a good guy. And so it sounds to me like Vladimir Putin is what we would call a genuine authoritarian. So he's not a communist, but he's an authoritarian. He's clung to power, you know, through Medvedev and so on and so forth. And he will poison, kill his opponents. At the same time, he's not Stalin. So, What was Maria trying to say?

In other words, there are people in Russia who would see a future for Russia that goes beyond the authoritarianism of Putin? Or she was very discreet, but she was very discreet how she said it. But she said things like we are loyal to Putin. He's legally elected. No one is disloyal to him. But there are some who wish to discuss what a post-Putin age might look. like and what relations in the U.S. could possibly look like someday. So it's very, I just got to say, and I know I'm interrupting more than ever, forgive me, but folks, since the Soviet Union fell,

okay, my mother grew up in East Germany, when the wall fell in Germany, when all that happened in AD9 and 91, I thought how wonderful if we could welcome Russia back into the community of nations. they used to be part of Europe again. This is before the communist, the Bolshevik revolution. So you're saying, Patrick, that Maria was kind of hoping for something like that. And I want to say, I myself was hoping for something like that. Very much. In fact, it's one of the things that woke me up that started waking me up was what happened

in the 90s. Because I knew that we had by the 90s, we'd probably spent a trillion or more dollars in our history on nuclear weapons. because of the threat of Soviet nuclear weapons. While the Soviet Union fell, Russia is there. Russia says, help us disassemble our nuclear weapons. We had a program of about $40 million a year that George Bush started to send over engineers to help them disassemble the nuclear weapons pointed out of us.

And after a couple of years, Clinton canceled it. So I thought that's odd. We're so afraid of their nuclear weapons that we'll spend a train of their nuclear weapons that we'll spend a trillion dollars to build our own to offset them. But when they say, you know what, how about helping us just disassemble these? We don't have $40 million we can find. That's when I started realizing how corrupt D.C. is. And the decisions made in D.C. have all kinds of other agendas behind them,

like military, industrial complex or whatever. So I'm with you about the 90s. The 90s was one of the greatest opportunities in human history for peace. And it was totally blow. we've covered this before. I mean, this is why NATO is so stupid. We've covered this before on the program where we're just thinking like the deep state, the unip party globalists, George Bush the first, they didn't want to be friends with Russia. They were making a lot of money off of, you know, the Soviet Union as the big global enemy. And so they wanted to keep that

narrative going. And that is heartbreaking, folks, because we had an opportunity that, you know, I don't know if we'll get it back. Maybe we will get it back. But, So, Patrick, I don't want to go too far with this because I want to come back to where we are now. You say that Tulsi Gabbard and Company are drilling down and they're finding, they're getting the receipts. And as they go down, down, down, down, down, they're going to find Patrick Byrne. Now, the question is, you're coming on the program today. Is this going to help them? Have you reached out to them?

In other words, I'm not clear on why they haven't done. I'm not going to talk about those things. but all someone has to do is read my book and my book. And what's the title of your book? The book is Danger Close. It's up on Amazon. Danger what?

And when Mike Flynn took the book, and Mike Flynn spent last year turning that book into a movie called The Enemy Within. Have you had a chance to... You're friends with him. General Flynn is, yeah, I'm one of his millions of admirers. I'm a huge fan. I love him.

I have had the great privilege of spending time with him. He's an American hero. I only wish he were in this administration, but maybe he's doing great things outside the administration. But he's just where he wants to be. I was just where he wants to be. It bothers me, too. I've been saying, why isn't he up there?

Why is he up there? Why is he this and that? No, he's just where he wants to be. But my question, so tell me again the title of your book. My book, oh, you got to read my book. My book is Danger Close. And I'll tell us, Danger Close. C-L-O-S-E, Danger Close. Yeah, you know, in the military, when a base is being overrun and when they call it and fire, just drop bombs on our own base because we're being open.

That's called Danger Close. That was actually Mike's name for the book. He came up with a name. And he wrote the introduction. And in the introduction, he says, I got to say you, or you got to get this book, in the introduction, he says, basically in the first sentence, in my work, in the senior's level, most senior levels of special operations and intelligence, I knew about Patrick Byrne and the work he does for the United States government. So that's the problem. The thing, the big mental hurdle for me, for people with me is they see me as the CEO entrepreneur. They don't understand. I don't have a family, a wife, anything. What I, my set, my personal life, What I did was I worked for Uncle Sam trying to help him out on anything he needed. So there were years.

This was my real job. And Overstock kind of felt like a cover job. And so he knew about all that. So for them to come to me and ask me or for me to cross paths with Maria Butina and make a phone call, that's kind of my normal life. That isn't so unusual. So, no, I mean, so, yes. It's the way this turned once I did normally when I made a call,

that ABC, D&E would have option. But this time when I made that call on Maria, WX, Y, Z happened. And that's when I knew that, so I knew by July 2015, the government was acting very strangely. So I knew things were being cooked by July of 2015. But now, given that other story, I just told you, it's really, this was being cooked up February of 2015. And this gets me to a point that's in the epilogue to my book. I hope you get my book. It's filled with these little anecdotes. you're going to dine off forever, Eric. I'm in the midst of a book deadline. When I'm not recording this program,

It is Matthew Thayer. We had him on this program talking about the film that lays out all of these facts, General Flynn's story. But you, Patrick Byrne, you're very close with General Flynn. You worked with him on this. You've written a book about it called Danger Close. So you were just going to share something before we went to the break. Yeah, there's one anecdote in that book that they're going to have to dig, they're going to have to dig down to. But it's this. So we've been talking about, hey, it wasn't August of 2016. It's really, I can take it to July of 2015. I can take it probably to February of 2015 when this thing happens with the luncheon, I told you. But something additionally happened that goes back further compared John Brennan. There was a CIA whistleblower who got in touch with somebody.

a lawyer who got in touch with me. Now, why people bring this stuff to me? I don't know. It's caused a lot of trouble in my life, and I insist I want no further whistleblowers ever to come to me. But in 2020, a D.C. lawyer came to me and shared something from a CIA whistleblower.

And what the CIA whistleblower said was, John Brennan had two events in 2014 that need to be studied. First, he went over to Scotland. He went over to Scotland in the summer of 20, I think it was the summer of 2014, and to a conference, and he slipped away from the conference. This is the whistleblower. He slipped away from his security and evaded observation and got in the back of a limousine.

The limousine, we believe, says the whistleblower, it was the real. Russian KGB, which is now called FSB, the Russian FSB in the United Kingdom, the head of the Russian KGB in the United Kingdom, was in the back of the limousine, and John Brennan rode with him for two and a half hours around Edinburgh. That was one, around wherever they were in Scotland. That was one piece of the story. The next piece of the story is that a few months later, John Brennan was in Moscow at the U.S. Embassy, and he slipped out the back of the embassy. By the way, this is a huge security violation. You can't have CIA director.

Anyway, he slips out the back of the embassy at 3.30 in the morning, and he walks a couple blocks, and he gets in another limousine. And this one had the head of the Russian KGB in it. And they circled around Moscow for a few hours, and then he was let off a kilometer away from the embassy and walked in. but the CIA had tracked him and actually knew this is what he had done. So John Brennan twice had in 2014 illicit meetings with the Russian KGB, the Russian FSB, it's now called. Consider the possibility that what he did was he said to them, folks, let's take down the U.S. We're going to create the biggest Russian scandal.

We can find some pretty young girl descendant. over to us with some on some not nefarious sounding mission and we will frame her up and create a big Russian scandal. And so then they go, so that's a November of 2015. That's what he says in the back of the limousine in Moscow. So then in February 2015, young philosophy graduate student rising. I'm sorry, you said 2014, right? November 2014. Good. So as you're listening. Yes, 2014, November 2014. That happened. Suppose that he has that conversation in the back of a Russian

limousine in Moscow in 2014. Right. Fall of 2014. Now Russia finds this, well, takes this young girl Maria Boutini, who's known to everybody and maybe it's Putin comes up

and it comes up with an evil plan that he sends to Torsin, that Torgian says to Maria, we're going to do something great. We're going to send you to America as a As a citizen diplomat, you're going to mingle around in Washington circles and hope and hope that you can find other liberals like us and will develop connective tissue so we can have peace someday. Wait, you said Putin would send her on this mission? I'm not clear. Well, this, okay, so this is a hypothesis. This is what, so take what we know that in February of 2015, she did come to the U.S.

And as soon as she landed and went to a luncheon, the FBI was already on her and encouraging there to have. That tells me, that's not something the FBI came up with overnight. That tells me the FBI. So maybe it was Brennan and Putin's people working together to send Maria to the U.S. Okay. So Brennan and Comey could then. Okay. Okay, but I'm still, but I'm not clear on, on why, what is the game plan here, folks?

This is, if you're talking about, you know, the end of 2014, the beginning of 2015, why would Brennan, what is, I really don't get it. What are they looking to do? Brennan Obama were looking, we're starting their coup. I know that by November of. 2015. And while I'm dating Maria, November of

2015 is when they also had me go set up Hillary in a bribe. You know that story, right? I brought... Okay. You need to tell that story. But before we get into this, I still want to... I know. It's like the crazy. I want the headline, but I want the headline because we're going to run out of time. The headline, you're saying

that Obama and his people, Brennan, Clapper, Comey, they were trying to do what? It may, I know what they were trying to do was to develop dirt on whatever Democrat succeeded Obama or whatever Republican did. Now the Democrat was going to be Hillary Clinton, the Republicans they didn't know. So the Democrat Clinton, they had me bribe. The Republicans, they created a Russia scandal on, and they did that by taking this redhead

philosophy student and having her swank around Washington and meet people like you and congressman stuff. So then they could swoop in three years later and say, oh, my God, we've discovered a Russian spy who's going around Washington. But I still have questions. What is Russia's interest in this? I don't really understand why is Russia? What are they trying to do?

This gives them control because they have blackmail on Hillary or they have black. I'm not really clear on Russia meeting with the head of our CIA in the back of limousine. I don't get this. Well, there's a type of operation in espionage called a, I don't remember the name. Can I be a little earthy on your show? Well, sure, we can bleep it out. You're a Christian. You're the one. Well, the only word I can think, I'm trying to, what is the, there's a name of an operation in espionage where you're just going into an opponent's political circle and trying to create a shitstorm, but I don't know what word you want me to use instead of shit. Yeah, that's a good word. You're trying to create

cognitive dissonance. You're trying to create trouble. How about that? Everybody's chasing each other and pointing fingers at each other and accusing the other of being a spy. You're completely degrading that nation's respect for their democracy. Okay, now hold on. I can understand why Russia would want to do that.

Why would Brennan be sent by Obama to do that? Brennan Obama are a couple or a pair. I think Brennan may be his handler. I think Obama may have been an asset and his handler was Brennan. And they wanted to rule the U.S.

They want to fundamentally change the United States, remember? And so they want to bring up. But I mean, I understand that Obama has said that. You're saying that Brennan may have been the previous mastermind working with Obama, maybe to install Obama. and again, to do what? Is Brennan a globalist? So he's a globalist and he hates the America, the free America on the founder's vision,

the America that so many of us liberty lovers would die for. He hates that America. And so he is working through quote unquote progressives like Obama and the deep state to undermine that America, to replace that. America with an America ruled by elites as sort of a world economic forum version of America. Is that the general narrative? Correct. Although I think deep down guys like this are just somebody whose daddy didn't buy them a pony

when they were little. They tend to be from middle class to affluent backgrounds and have resentful relationships with their parents that turn into this crazy politics. So whatever it was, did he just, you know, remember Brennan was a communist? It voted for Gus Hall in 76. Then he converted to Islam while in Saudi Arabia. Brennan just hates us. I can tell you that.

He hates us. These kinds of people, some people would light the word on fire just to see it burn. They're demons. These people want to bring him at the end of the U.S. and have us, who knows, submerged into the WF. They would consider an accomplishment just if they can destroy America. They think that we are the evil empire. Well, okay, but that's what it looks like.

In other words, the people like me, as I've watched Obama with this fundamental transformation of America, as I watched Biden's four years, it looks like they want to destroy America. It doesn't look like they are merely incompetent. It looks that they're using some incompetence as a way to destroy our nation, our values, everything, basically. So you're saying Brennan is one of those. And I guess, okay, we're out of time. in this segment.

So Patrick Byrne, the title of General Flynn's, the film that he made, is The Enemy Within. We had Matthew Thayer, the director of that on this program. So that's The Enemy Within. Your book is called Danger Close. How did it come about with, I mean, or let me just say, I want to cover a couple things. I want you quickly to tell the story of how you bribed Hillary Clinton. No joke, folks. That's number one.

Number two, your involvement in the film, because you said when General Flynn approached you how that came about. But the third thing, maybe we'll start with the third thing, you say that Tulsi Gabbard is a very rare, very brave American hero in daring to do what she's doing right now. Where do you think it's going to go? because the mainstream media will do anything to stop this from getting out. This is their death if this stuff keeps coming out. What do you think, where does Tulsi keep going with this? What is happening? I think you're going to see her dig deeper and deeper until she hits.

If she digs all the way, what she's going to hit is the enemy within. Just go read the book or see the movie, The Enemy Within or read the book, Danger Close. This was all set up. So I'm glad she broke through the crust. She's digging down. The ultimate truth you're going to find is there. I'm sure there are some things I don't know. Like, I don't know for a fact that Brennan set up with the Russians, the Maria thing.

I don't know. But all those details. You're trying to figure it out. But you say that you were used by the CIA. Was it by Brennan to bribe Hillary Clee? You don't have to give the details. But is that the fact that to set her up so that they had dirt on her? Well, officially was the FBI asked me.

I'm sorry, FBI, yes. But they made, there was a CIA person involved who made it look like he was not involved. Okay, but here's my question. When you say the FBI, you're talking about Obama. Who wants dirt on Hillary Clinton? You're telling me that Obama and company, Brennan, whoever, they want dirt on her so they can control her when she's elected in 2016, which everybody was sure she would be. Is that the headline here? Yes. Have ever told you the Bunsen burner story? I don't know. I think you did. Oh, this.

Go ahead. I mean, after I had successfully caused her to take an $18 million bride from Azerbaijan, and I got the bag man from Azerbaijan in a room with her. They spent 10 minutes alone. He bribed her $18 million. And I can tell you how I did all that. But the key was three days later, I was told I'd forget the whole thing. and at first they gave me some cockamamie excuse why the mission had been plugged because they all realized she can't be stopped she's going to be president she's going to destroy us wasn't sitting well with me a few weeks later i got back in touch and let them know that's not sitting well with me and they told me the truth and if you under if you listen to the next 60 seconds you'll understand these whole 10 years they said patrick think of there's being so this is early february 2016 10 months away from the election but it looks like Hillary's unstoppable. They say, Patrick, think if there is being a Bunsen burner. No, they said, Patrick, at this point, Barack Obama has people across the federal government, but especially

the DOJ. Think of there's being a Bunsen burner in the DOJ. Hillary is going to be president for eight years, but while she's president, the bribe information is going to sit on a Bunsen burner. If Hillary's a good girl and defends Obamacare, the hand on the Bunsen burner is going to be one of Obama's. If Hillary's good and defends Obamacare, the flames lower. If she's bad, it gets turned up. This way, Barack Obama is going to manage Hillary Clinton for eight years, then she steps down and Michelle's going to run. And Patrick, that's the plan. Okay, that was the plan. Well, look, who cares about the details of the plan? The fact of the matter is that you have people, Barack Obama and company, because he didn't just, you know, emerge from the brow of Zeus.

there's a gestation period. It sounds like Brennan and other people were setting him up. But this is fundamentally, now when we say, oh, to transform America, no, there's nothing wrong with transforming America. What's wrong is subverting the will of the people. We, the people, elect our leaders. We are supposed to be our own government. We're a self-governing people.

These people were talking about wanted to destroy that and were well on their way to destroying that. And folks, that is sedition, that is evil. In a civilized world, they would be hanged or killed by a firing squad if this is all true. And it sounds like it's true. And it sounds like Tulsi Gabbard and company are getting to the bottom of this. Do you have confidence that they're going to be able to execute that Pam Bondi and the president understand all of this? I don't have confidence in Pam Bondi. I don't dislike her. But what Tulsi Gabbard is doing in a real war would have been done by our DOJ, and real world would have been done by our inspectors general, and a real world would have been done by the Mueller report, the Durham report, et cetera, et cetera.

It's all corrupt. It's all corrupted. So I love that Tulsa is doing it, and people should understand, though, she's one of about five people in this administration who had the chance to do this. She's the one is the San Wall Street who went in and bit the ass off the bear, you know, took the bull by the horns and his mouth. is managing this. There were a number of people who could have done this. She's the only one who's had the... Do you have any sense of what Dan Bongino was alluding to? He put out

a post the other day that he'd seen horrible things and we can't have a republic unless we deal with this. Do you have any sense what he was alluding to? I bet a lot of it is the story you're going to read if you read Danger Close. A lot of it is that. It was a complete... Okay. Our country

since Thanksgiving of 2015 we've been going through a coup. And I know that because I was part of it. I worked for Brennan and Komi and Obama. In fact, I might as well say, I mean, I have said it, but I actually got elevated by Obama to something called National Intelligence Asset, which meant the White House was in the loop on any part of government that gave me a task. The White House had to sign off. So from 2011 forward, Barack Obama knew all about me. I'm told he elevated me to that position. So we got to go to another break,

folks, I'm talking to Patrick Byrne. The book is Danger Close. Welcome back, folks. I'm talking to Patrick Byrne. Patrick, most of this is covered in your book, Danger Close. Well, I wouldn't mention it, although it has been mentioned now by Trump,

that as something about as bad as these revelations in Tulsi's Russia report are, wait until you see what she's revealing about our elections. They make the other stuff look like chopped chicken liver. he said something like that, not that weren't his work, but he said some reason. Do you remember that just like four or five days ago? I mean, listen, you, you, I met you. I mean, I knew the 2020 election was stolen. And we're still not dealing with that, right? We have heroes like Mike Lindell and others who've been out talking and talking to just trying to get to the bottom of it and say, ladies and gentlemen, maybe I don't have all my facts, but, you know, this is troubling. We need free elections. You destroy the nation if you don't have free elections. And so you say that that information is going to be coming out. Yes, yes.

And I'll tell you about a very dramatic moment in the last four years. That will kind of convey it. I have the people. I have, this is not conjecture. I have the people who've been rigging elections. I got people to defect. I got the source code. I got everything.

Mike Lindell. From what country? I don't want to say too much. But when you say defect? Well, South America. South America. What I've been doing the last two and a half years is running around the world, recruiting people, and getting them to flip sides. And so I have everybody, there's a guy on my side that was, we call them Dominion Employee of the Month. The guy was literally the Dominion Employee of

the Month a couple years ago at some point. We have everything. These guys are so hoes. They're all going to prison for the rest of the lives. But at one point, point, General Flynn, I had a bunch of people, and I'm stuffed together in a safe house over in Europe, protected by Green Berets, retired Green Berets. I mean, okay, the truth is, I was smuggling these people around South America and the Caribbean. Oh, you don't know about this yet. The world, you don't know about this yet, do you? I forget sometimes what's public anyway, there was a whole lot of odd activity in the last two and a half years. But the point of this was the elections. You're talking about the Dominion and Company and

all that stuff that we've been asking questions about for four years. All the people involved in this stuff internationally, but people who work in these systems, people who have written the code, people who have been involved in hijacking elections, I had them to switch sides. And I had a whole bunch of them, participants, stashed away in Europe in a safe house. And last, late last summer, gosh, it was right around July 28th last year. Mike Flynn came over. And he came to say, now I've kept Mike in arms.

So we go in, he's very calm through the whole 90 minutes as these people very carefully laid out and demonstrated exactly how.

they can hack elections on these computers. They can make any of these computers stand up and whistle Dixie, spit out any numbers they wanted to spit, and there's no trace of nothing. They're all built with backdoors to let people come in from Serbia and adjust elections. So they walked him through all this for 90 minutes, demonstrated it all is a satisfaction. At the end, we're about to leave. And I said, and this might be a good note to close on it for closing. I said, before we'll leave to one of the engineers, I said, tell the general how long this has been going on, how much this has been going on, and this fellow gulped. And he said, well, General Flynn, we've been manipulating elections for 20 years in 72 nations. And for just a moment, I saw Flynn that poker phase for a

split second. Okay. Now, but when you say we, who is behind this ultimately? In other words, and I don't care about other nations. I care about America mostly. What, who is behind this? These are globalists. This is China. Communists. I mean, you know. Ultimately, the overthrow is the four cartels, Mexican cartels play a role in destabilizing us.

They report to the Venezuelan cartel, which is the Venezuelan government. Venezuela is a weird place. It's where cartel becomes a nation- Why do cartels, why do drug pushers want to change American elections? Oh, because they, and then they report to China. We put our faith in God because it's a dirty world. And all you need to do is listen to what we've been talking about the last couple hours. This is dirty. There are bad, bad people out there. So Patrick, you're saying that behind all of this, and it stands to reason, China wants to be the global superpower. and that they would be crazy not to try to rig our elections, to try to weaken us, to try to bring us down. I believe President Trump does. In the last minute or two that we have left, you say you believe that there are forces in our CIA may be still there, who also want to cripple the United States of America as we have known her through history.

Yes. There are people within the CIA. Well, Pompeo came out recently and said there's not a person on the top floor of the CIA who believes in the Constitution anymore in the Democratic foundations of America. But I think Pompeo knows about all this because he was briefed about a year and a half ago by two colleagues of mine, and they say he went white as they laid this out. And at first, they thought he went white because he was thinking, oh, my God, this happened on my shift, and I didn't catch it. At the time, we thought it was ultimately all China behind it. And he went white. They gradually

came to realize from his questioning, he wasn't going white because he was realizing, oh, my gosh, this happened on my ship, and I missed it. He went white because he, he, already knew and was going white that somebody had figured out. In fact, the focus of his questioning became, who have you shown this to? Who knows about this? His questioning became he was very concerned. Do you think he's a good guy or not? He's not a good guy. You don't think Pompeo is a good guy. Oh, bad guy. He and Paul Ryan are very bad guys. He and Paul Rhino, Paul Ryan, are the guys, they're on like an advisory board to Fox, and they got Fox to pay this big fee to Dominion as a way of saying, look, I guess we were wrong. Dominion was right.

Well, guess who paid for that? Suppose I told you the CIA actually paid CIA or five. Well, China made a billion dollar loan within a week of that made a very low interest billion dollar loan to Fox. That looks like it was a quid pro quo for that payment. So it really didn't cost them any cash. And there's some word that it was actually engineered by the CIA. The CIA wanted Fox to pay that because they wanted to put it. So you're saying that Pompeo is deep state. Oh yeah. Pompeo is a bad guy and I used to like him. He's very intelligent. I used to respect him. I now am aware he's a very problematic figure. He's like Paul Ryan. He's deep state. But Paul Ryan doesn't publicly claim to be a big Christian,
