Starting point is 00:00:36 I wub, vanilla. I wub, I wub, wub, vanilla. Here comes Eric Metaxus. Hey there, folks, it is, what is it? Tuesday? It's Wednesday? Come on. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:48 It's Wednesday? It's Wednesday? No, it's not. It's Wednesday. One's St. Patrick's Day. Is that today? No, that's the 17th. That's like, where am I?
Starting point is 00:00:59 Like, I'm in a pod. I've lost track of time. It is Wednesday. I got to say, no, it is Wednesday. And I know it's Wednesday because tomorrow I'm getting on a plane to fly to Denver. I'm doing something at a church in Denver on Friday night at Brave Church, one of the great churches. I've met those folks last year, Brave Church in Denver. If you want to come, you can come, if you can get there. Now, before we get into all this other fun stuff,
Starting point is 00:01:26 let me just announce on today's program. We have a two-hour program. In hour one, we're talking to Phil Robertson, the Phil Robertson with his son, the Reverend Al. They're both bearded. They're both in West Monroe, Louisiana, and they both smell of duck. It's true. And gunpowder. And gunpowder. Yeah. So we're talking to Phil Robertson. He has a new book out in a couple of minutes. I'm talking to him. In hour two, we're talking to John Zamirak briefly. We're just doing a 10-minute thing with him on his new article because it's exciting and new. And then after John Smirak, we're talking to Eric Mutzoss, a cop who, wait till you hear his story. And I just, it's a joy to get to tell the stories of these heroes that are out there refusing to go along with the lies. And you know what's
Starting point is 00:02:21 interesting is like there are pagans out there who refuse to go along with the lies, which begins to make me wonder about who is actually a Christian. And it's why my new book is called Reliance. religionless Christianity. You get the impression. A lot of people that say they're Christians who you kind of, you wonder, because who are you fooling? If you're a Christian, and this is what I keep saying in my new book, Letter to the American Church, and in the new book, Religionless Christianity, you can't say I have faith if you're not acting like it. Like, you can't say, I have faith, but I'm not acting like it. And to have courage the way Eric Mutzos does, wait until you hear his story. Again, that's an hour or two.
Starting point is 00:03:01 too. But people every day are being asked to choose to go along with the lies or to speak the truth and to deal with the consequences. And we need to be encouraged, folks, because every single one of us needs to be willing to step up knowing you cannot out give God. If you give God what he asks you to do, you just say, okay, I'm not going to go along with the lies. God will have your back one way or the other. And Eric Mutzos, again, that's our two. We'll be talking to him about what he went through. He's a cop who refused. The nutshell version is that the powers that, the powers that, B in Salt Lake City, he's in Utah. They basically said, you're a decorated cop, you're a big deal. We want you to ride in uniform at this celebrate pride parade. And he said, excuse me, I cannot do that. Can I switch my shift with somebody else? Because I can't do that. My faith says, no, I can't do
Starting point is 00:03:52 that. And that was brave of him, and we'll hear his story an hour too. Okay. So, Chris, can I talk about, I just got a couple of things to talk about real quick. So we got Phil Robertson, Johns Merrick, Eric Muzzo's coming up. But right now, can I talk about my cab ride from heck? Was it a good one? I said to Suzanne the other day. Best cabby in the world. This happens to me because I take so many cabs,
Starting point is 00:04:14 one at a time, but I take many of them. But the funny thing is there are, one out of every 25 cabs, the way they pull up tells you, if you're really paying attention, if you're very sensitive to the clues, you can pick up not a good driver, bad driver. Well, in New York City, there's so many people here,
Starting point is 00:04:37 and I talk to my daughters who are out and about on the subways, similar to your daughter, you know, they're on their own. There's something I like to call the crazy lottery in New York City. And you do play it with the cabbies. Oh, yeah. You don't know what you're going to get. And so over the years, it's very rare.
Starting point is 00:04:55 It's very rare to get a whole. horrible cab driver, but it happens. If you do and if you take enough. Yes, I remember one on the Upper West side when we had, you know, little kids in strollers, the cab pulls up. He sees my wife sort of come up from the stairs with the stroller, and I had already opened up the trunk. So the trunk's open and the door's open.
Starting point is 00:05:14 And he sees, for whatever reason, maybe he doesn't like kids, but he sees the stroller come up the stairs and he just peels off like Starski and Hutch. Nice, nice guy. And here, let's say something that could be interpreted as racist. there are people from other countries who have different cultural values, right? And they don't have the sort of, like, I need to do the right thing. They got this, you know, from whatever culture they're from,
Starting point is 00:05:41 it's kind of like, you know, grab the money. So if people with kids, maybe that's trouble. I'm going to go for the easy thing or whatever. And you actually notice this. And if you talk to black people trying to hail cabs, they will tell you that people from some foreign countries, are, you know, they are actually racist, right? And so they won't pick you up because in their culture, they would rather be it.
Starting point is 00:06:05 So you get this anyway, the whole thing is so crazy. So today I'm picked up. And the way the guy pulled up to get me was simultaneously slow and awkward. Like usually they know what they're doing and they're good and, you know, whatever. He just kind of like pulls up in a way that I go, okay, I could wave him on and get the next one. let's give it a shot. Yeah. Sure enough, the second I get in, close the door, he's like he's not quick to start
Starting point is 00:06:33 forward. Yeah. Like he's taking his time. Right. And when I tell him where we're going, he repeats it three times, like, to make sure. I mean, to be fair, he could have been dealing with some blood clots, you know, maybe a burgeoning stroke situation. Maybe he got his recent booster and his blood is not cooperating.
Starting point is 00:06:50 Anyway, I just find it funny that in the second somebody pulls up, I'm like, uh-oh. Right. And it's happened, if you're going to the. airport and you get one of those. You know, you could be late for the flight because of their 20% delay. So what happened? Did he drive way below the speed limit? Yes, he drove way below the speed limit. It's not worth going into really, but I got to just say that there are times when it's appropriate not to leave a tip. You remember that movie Aladdin when they go on the carpet ride? It's sort of like getting a bad, you know, carpet ride. It doesn't even give just like
Starting point is 00:07:25 doesn't fly. It's actually a little. It's actually a little. It's actually hilarious. Most cab drivers are great. I prefer them to Uber's. But every once in a while, okay, here's what we got to talk about before we get to our guests. The Alliance Defending Freedom. Most people listening to the program don't know that you have an obligation to give something to the Alliance Defending Freedom. We're not going to tell you what to give, but I want to say, please understand that we owe them big time.
Starting point is 00:07:49 This is the Alliance Defending Freedom. They are defending us every single day. The more you know about them, the more you know about them, the more you. guilty you will feel because you will be stunned at how much you owe them because they're fighting they're on the front lines doing all these cases because you don't realize the attacks that are literally happening you know if you you know whatever you think about trump you know you see how the legal system is being used against him oh politic and then this is happening on on small cases with to regular people uh across the country there's there's all this sort of antagonism happening and
Starting point is 00:08:25 people people can't afford to like well no Nobody can afford it. Nobody can afford it, except maybe Donald Trump can afford it, but anybody else, they're coming after you. And so the Alliance Vending Freedom does this for free. So please, again, people say, what can I do? Go to Metaxistock.com and give to the Alliance Defending Freedom. I'm not going to tell you what to give, but I'm going to say, please, please do your part. If you understood what they were doing, you would know you owe them big time. Believe me, they're heroes, Alliance Defending Freedom. Just go to Metaxistalk.com and you'll see it. Metaxistalk.com. Please do it, folks. Believe me, it's the right thing to do. Believe me, I'm not making it up. Let me also say, Socrates in the city. We have an event coming up in Charleston. I just looked at the details.
Starting point is 00:09:10 There's still seats available. I am going to be interviewing the great, great, great, great, great author, Mark Helperin. I've been reading his books recently. There's literally no one better. It's actually freakishly astonishing. Like, he's one of these geniuses that it's a little frightening when you read his books. You think, how could he know this? How could he? It's just, it's just phenomenal his writing? And is it true that you'll be doing the interview south of the Mason-Dixon line, obviously in Charleston, in a searsucker suit with some iced tea? That's not true. You should think about it. I reject that and I reject you. No, but so what? So this is going to be April 5th in Charleston, South Carolina. And let me just say, if you can't be there, you can watch it live. You want to watch it live. Trust me on this,
Starting point is 00:09:54 folks because we edit out the good stuff. In order to do that, you've got to sign up for Socrates Plus. If you haven't signed up already, please go to Socratesin the city.com and sign up for Socrates Plus so you can watch this live. You don't want to miss it. I don't know what to tell you. I have the joy of speaking to one of my favorite people on the planet. I'm not exaggerating. Phil Robertson, welcome to this program. Hey, good to be here. I know that all you folks up in New York, get ready for this. This is a biblical text, Eric. About noon the following day, they were approaching the city. Peter went up on the roof to pray. He became hungry and wanted something to eat. And while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. He saw heaven open and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. Here comes a gigantic screen. Check us out, Eric.
Starting point is 00:13:10 It contained that white sheet. All kinds of four-footed animals. You're like, say what? Birds of the air. There's your ducks. And look, a voice told him, get up, Peter, kill and eat. We've got orders from headquarters reaching all the way to New York City that four-footed animals and birds of the air.
Starting point is 00:13:36 fair game. I wasn't really, I wasn't really prepared to, to discuss that, but who's to say? Of course I'm prepared. I eat a ton of meat, and you have no argument for me. You already know that because I have, I have participated in killing Birds of the Air with you in the Blind
Starting point is 00:13:57 down there in West Monroe. And we, we're here to talk about your new book. So I want to, before we leap in, tell us the title of your new book, Brother Phil. And who's that bearded young man sitting next to you? You didn't recognize me because I had a beard, Eric. See, I'm peer pressure. No, I did recognize you, but I wanted to be sure. It's a, this, you look very small on my screen, so it's hard to make you out. This is Al, the, the oldest brother, and the one who gave you your first pair of hip waders or chest waders that you got down here
Starting point is 00:14:31 in Louisiana. I hope it served you well up there in New York City. Well, I'm still not wet. Thank you. So what's the title of the of the new book, Phil? But the new book says, I could be wrong. I'm acknowledging that. But when it comes to the Bible
Starting point is 00:14:55 and life itself, I doubt it. So the title of the book is I could be wrong, but I doubt it by Phil Robertson. So, Brother Phil, you just quoted the scripture where it says, where the Lord speaks to Peter and says, arise Peter, kill and eat. I have a coffee mug that says that, and I got it at your store down there in your neck of the woods. Well, life is short, but full of trouble. I'm crowding 80. I got two years, and I'll be 80.
Starting point is 00:15:42 I'm running out of time. But the Bible says, all your sins will be removed by the blood of Jesus. And the rest is history. That's the message. They killed and buried him and resurrected him. and he said, I'll get you out of here alive. I'm going with him.
Starting point is 00:16:13 It's, I mean, it's been called the greatest story ever told, and it really is. There's nothing like it anywhere. It's just the most amazing story in the history of the world. It concerns the author of the world, coming to Earth. It's, I got to tell you, whenever you think about it seriously, you think there is no alternative. alternative to this if you're logical. But so many people, I guess they just dismiss it. I think that this happens a lot of times when you're dealing with truth. People don't necessarily argue against it. They just ignore it because they think if they argue against it, they'll probably lose. So they're
Starting point is 00:16:54 just going to ignore it and pretend it's not there. What do you talk about in the book? Why did you lead with the scripture, arise, Peter, kill, and eat, which I find funny, but at the same time, important. It's like before I came up here to talk to you this morning, I said, let me just check in on something. And I looked up. This is his version of Google, Eric. He has an encyclopedia brought with it.
Starting point is 00:17:23 I don't have a cell phone. I've never owned one. But I do have some encyclopedias. So according to who is this? World Book Encyclopedia. A.D. is the abbreviation for anno domini, which is Latin for the year of our Lord. In the year of our Lord, in 532 AD, the monk Dionysius exigus introduced a system of dating events, beginning with the year he believed Jesus Christ was born.
Starting point is 00:18:04 and this system the year of Christ's birth was AD1, the year before was 1 BC. Even the encyclopedia got it right. They're talking about Jesus, and a lot of people are operating like he never came. We all have sinned, if we're honest, and we're all going to die, Eric. Period. We know it. He's the answer for that. and I think he's worth following just to see. I think if you fit, you know what it is, Phil, you know this, but most people in America,
Starting point is 00:18:46 we don't face death in the way that most people in history have had to face it. We kind of under this illusion that we might live forever. I just lost my dad. Praise God, he was 96 and a half. And but I thought to myself, when you face death with, someone you love or your own death, it forces you to think what is the meaning of life. The idea that we would not have the option to go into the presence of a God who loves us, I'm just fascinated what people who don't believe in Jesus, what they make of death, or do they just have to look
Starting point is 00:19:26 away because it's too painful? I think they can't bear it and they have to look away because it's too painful for them actually to think about what it would mean if this stuff weren't true that you and I believe. This might help him or her who are wrestling with this situation. If it's preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say there is no resurrection of the dead? If there's no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless, and so is your faith. More than that, we're to be found false witnesses about God, for we've testified about God that he raised Jesus from the dead, but he did not raise him if, in fact, the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised,
Starting point is 00:20:22 when Christ has been raised, then Christ has not been raised either. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile you're still in your sins then those who also who have fallen asleep in Christ they're all lost if only for this life we have hope in Christ we're to be pitted more than all men Christ has indeed been raised from the dead and he's the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. Since death came through a man, Adam, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. As in Adam, all die. So in Christ, all will be made alive. But each in his own turn, Christ's the first fruits. Then when he comes, those who belong to him. I don't apologize when I'm talking to people, and I have that waiting on me, hope.
Starting point is 00:21:32 I have hope. I see hope. Jesus died, was buried and raised from the dead. Never been, never happened before. And this is it for everybody. And all you're asked to do was love God and love your neighbor. I mean, give me a break here. It's right in front of us.
Starting point is 00:21:54 Immortality. It's ours. Love God. Love your neighbor. Everything will be all right. Just think of a culture who all of a sudden decided to do that. But since I got out of college the last 30 or 40 years, I don't know about New York City, but I know about the deep south down in here. We're in a rough situation, the rank and file.
Starting point is 00:22:24 our job is to get the gospel to them. We love them. But I've never seen our culture turn into what we now have, ever. I believe that it's God's mercy, that he's trying to wake up those who have been sleeping, who refuse to wake up, that things are so bad that people are waking up who would have been sleepwalking for another few decades. So to my mind, it is all these horrible things are God's mercy to wake us up. We'll be right back, I'm talking to Phil Robertson. Don't go away. Our God-given freedoms are facing unrelenting attacks. It's a battle for truth. And the only way we win is if we stand together. Thankfully, Alliance defending freedom has been defending our rights for 30 years and winning. Right now, they're involved in two critical cases before the Supreme Court. They're suing the FDA for endangering the health and safety of women and
Starting point is 00:23:33 girls. And in the second case, they're assisting the state of Idaho to defend its law protecting the lives of women and their unborn children against the Biden administration's attempt to override the law and force doctors to perform abortions. Think about it. They need your help. With your best gift, you courageously join ADF in fighting critical Supreme Court cases against government lawlessness and help defend our cherished freedoms. Starting point is 00:25:16 Nutrametics.com, use the code Eric for 15% off. Welcome back, folks. I got the joy of speaking to someone that I love and respect tremendously. Phil Robertson. Phil, it's just, it's a joy for me. to know you and to talk to you. And I have to say you've got a new book out called I could be wrong, but I doubt it, why Jesus is your greatest hope on earth and in eternity. I got to ask you, brother Phil, you remember not believing this stuff. And I think that sometimes it's why
Starting point is 00:26:03 we want to have mercy for those who don't get it yet, because we were, as they are now, we once were. You were and I was, and we can remember what it's like to live without God. Do you remember what was in your mind? In other words, when you rejected this stuff, was it because you'd never heard it? Was it because you misinterpreted it? I always love trying to get into the mindset of people who don't get this. Somehow there's something inside them or many things that just shove it away. Do you remember being that man?
Starting point is 00:26:38 At 28, which is, I noticed something once I repented and started following Jesus. I noticed that people, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you. It was preached to me. I was 28. most of the time of all the people, and we baptize them on a constant delivering the message, we walk down there. If we're near my house, I make sure that alligators don't come by while we're walking down into the river are cotton mouth, mouskins.
Starting point is 00:27:27 So I tell them uptown they have warm water and no alligators and cotton mouths. but you can choose to go to the river if you want to. But look, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you. I was 28 when I heard this, which you received and on which you've taken you stand. This is 1 Corinthians chapter 15, by the way, verse 1. By this gospel, you are saved if you hold firmly to the word I preach to you, otherwise you believed in vain. for what I received, the Apostle Paul is talking, and his job was to slaughter Christians before God called him.
Starting point is 00:28:10 So here's a guy who's slaughtering the men and women of faith. God strikes him down, blinds him, he's crawling around on the ground. You know, who are you? He said, I'm the one you're persecuting. for what I received, the Apostle Paul is talking, and I was 28, and he was probably about that age. I passed on to you as the first importance that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures that he was buried and that he was raised on the third day according to the scriptures. There's two groups of people, the ones who have going to die, it's coming.
Starting point is 00:29:00 for every last one of us, and the ones who can live again, be resurrected from the dead. If we're wrong, I doubt it. So when I told the book people, they wanted me to write a book for them, that's the one I said we need to do. As soon as they heard that, I said, what we need to do is me talk about when I could be wrong, wrong, but I doubt it. They said, they all looked at each other, the book people, and they said, good night, that's it. That's what we want right there. So, it's a great title. Jesus, the creator, Jesus, the king of kings, Jesus, the greatest teacher, Jesus, the living
Starting point is 00:29:52 water, Jesus, our defense attorney, never lost the case, Jesus, the servant, we need more of it, Jesus, the light and the darkness, a lot of darkness, Jesus, the resurrected sin offering, shed blood, the creator of the cosmos. First sentence in the Bible, in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. If that's true, we can get out of here alive, the death of Jesus on a cross, his burial and resurrection. If it's not true, nobody's getting out of here, and we have no idea. hope and not a chance. He's the only chance we have, Eric. I'm not going to miss it. Look, I haven't even cursed in 40 years. No filth comes out of my mouth. I'm pointing people to Jesus. You say,
Starting point is 00:30:52 not a curse word, not even a little, oh, a hurt. No. All that's behind me. All of that's behind me. I was talking to your other son, Willie, recently. I was at an event in Nashville, and we were talking about his experience of just thinking about what would his life have been like if you had not come to Jesus when you did. There's so many people right now living in darkness, in broken families. And it's challenging sometimes even to think about where would we be, where would we be if somebody had not brought us the good news? When we come back,
Starting point is 00:31:47 I want to continue the conversation talking to Phil Robertson. Mypillow.com promo code Eric. Welcome back, folks. I'm talking to Phil Robertson and his son Al Robertson, both bearded, as men, should be. I'm growing a beard right now. You can't tell because I shave it off every day, but I'm growing it just as much as they are. And I just want to be clear about that. There's a little more gray than it was the last time I saw you. It's a good sign, though. You're still here. Yes. Yes. That's exactly right. Well, I got to tell you, I was just mentioning to you, Phil, and I'm sure Al remembers this because I was talking to Willie and he was talking about, you know, living through the turmoil
Starting point is 00:34:12 before you came to faith. And do you ever think about that, about God's sovereignty, about this idea that, you know, some of us get it, some of us don't get it, and we all ought to get it right away, but we don't. Do you ever think about that or do you feel that it's just not worth dwelling on that? Yeah, I feel, I think what I did, I became aware of someone on the other side of Jesus. Satan. I mean, if you read about Satan and what he does to individuals, when you know you see a way to get out from under that, I was 28, and I was at first, I was going left and right, but basically getting high, getting drunk and getting laid was my mode of operandi.
Starting point is 00:35:11 So I just, I mean, it was pathetic. So now I've been trying to help the ones I see in the shape that I was in. I'm trying to show them there is a way out when you won't even use a curse word at any time. love God, you'll love your neighbor, and you sure can rest a lot easier. I mean, think about it. All of your sins have been removed by the blood of Jesus, free of charge, and he's guaranteed you by doing it. You will be raised from the dead. I mean, I can look everywhere in this and that and done the study and all the college professors and all of them coming out of, Our schools, you see these young people coming out of them, Eric. I mean, it's pathetic to see what they are doing.
Starting point is 00:36:05 But it's not loving God and loving each other, that's for sure. But you know, Eric, it also changes, you said it. Willie told you this. It changes destinies of families because he was right. I mean, how would that have turned out? We're now 60 people that are from mom and dad, you know, and we're all our own patriarchs and matriarchs of our own families now and structures. My granddaughter is about to be married, which is dad's great, great-granddaughter.
Starting point is 00:36:37 And he baptized her, you know, a few years ago. And we all stood around that pool of water, and that was four generations of faith. And, Al, look, I have five children. You're the oldest. 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. And more coming. If they keep more coming, let's see. Jesus, omnipresent, omnipotent, the way, the truth, the life, the resurrection,
Starting point is 00:37:12 the Redeemer for everyone, king over heaven and earth, indestructible, prophet, mind reader, lawgiver, judge, supreme being on heaven and earth, ultimate love, the man of mystery, the great mediator of the saint, this is the book, by the way, the greatest defense attorney of all time, conqueror of death, full of grace, full of mercy, the greatest teacher that ever has been, bread of life, greatest heater, reconciler, fullness of God, greatest servant, Lord of all, high priest, and I could just go on and on. It's just, there's never been anyone like it. And I ended that up with the greatest friend we could ever have.
Starting point is 00:38:03 That's what's incredible, is that you describe all the stuff, and then you think that this amazing God, beyond anything we could begin to comprehend, wants to be our friends. That is the mindblower. That is the mindblower. I wrote a book called Is Atheism Dead? And you look at the science and how this world was created by this God.
Starting point is 00:38:30 It's completely inconceivable, the level of design. It just hurts your head when you look at it just a little bit. And then you realize that God who invented atomic structure and who invented all that is in this universe wants to. to be my friend, that is absolutely unbelievable. And I think that if you really get that, you want to weep because you suddenly realize, I have not really sufficiently given my life to him. Even when we say I've given him my life, have you given him everything? Are you living for him on every level? Do you know how much he loves you? It is, it's absolutely overwhelming. It is the greatest thing, the greatest news anyone could ever deliver. You, you know,
Starting point is 00:39:17 You've been delivering this news for a long time, Phil, and I'm still amazed. You put on these airs of a country profit. You were an English teacher. You got a college degree. Did you get a master's degree? Yeah. Nobody would predict that from your outfit looking at you today. I find it very funny.
Starting point is 00:39:37 When I alert them to that, they're like, what the world? What's going on in this world today? Look, the acts of the sinful nature are obvious. sexual immorality, always number one. In the United States, it's just gone ballistic. Yeah. Somebody said, why didn't you get you a cell phone? I said, because some chick will want to be show me her butt on that thing.
Starting point is 00:40:04 I don't want one of those. Listen, unfortunately, that is true. It is unbelievable. It is unbelievable. Listen, I would love to go back before cell phones, before the Internet. It is, it's, it's kind of amazing. Look, we're at a time. I just want to thank you, Brother Phil, brother Al, for all you guys do.
Starting point is 00:40:26 The new book is called I Could Be Wrong, but I Doubt It, Why Jesus is Your Greatest Hope on Earth and in Eternity. When did this book come out? Today. It's just today. All right. Well, that's good news. I could be wrong, but I doubt it, why Jesus is your greatest hope on earth. and in eternity.
Starting point is 00:40:49 Phil Robertson, author. Thank you, guys. Thank you, Eric. You're our favorite New Yorker. That's saying absolutely nothing, but thank you. We love you, my man. We love you. I love you back, brother.
Starting point is 00:41:02 I wish I could be down there with you. And I'll look for excuses to get down there. There you go. I would love to see you. You are welcome. Hey, folks, welcome back. We are in a war for liberty. for freedom in America. We have aggressive forces on the secular left trying to crush dissent,
Starting point is 00:41:42 trying to crush organizations like pregnancy centers around America that are doing God's work, making no money, doing God's work. And the secular left wants to crush them. We're talking to Caleb Dalton with the Alliance defending freedom about this case with first choices in New Jersey. And again, we need everybody's help. I beg you, folks, get in the game. Whatever you give, give what you can give. You go to metaxis talk.com or you can dial the number we've given, but give what you can give for such a time as this.
Starting point is 00:42:21 Whatever you have is for God's purposes, and I want to encourage people. I also want to say we throw this out there whenever I'm doing something like this. One of the things that I can give is my time, which is becoming increasingly. increasingly precious. And if there's anybody out there who can give a tax deductible gift of $15,000, I would be honored to spend the evening with you. It can be with your family. You can get together a group. It can just be three of us or 20 of us. Whatever you want to do, you pick the venue and you set it up. You pay for the dinner. But I give my time. I'm delighted to do that. I've met so many heroes across America as a result of this. And so it will be my privilege to work that out if there's anybody listening and wants to spend that kind of time with me.
Starting point is 00:43:09 I get around the country. We could do it in New York or we could do it in your city. But the phone number is 855-385-0-596, 855-385-0-96, or just go to Metaxus talk.com. And Caleb Dalton, how long have you been with? the Alliance Defending Freedom. I've had the privilege to work here for over 11 years now on several different teams. It's been truly an honor. I have worked for other nonprofit organizations in the world around the country.
Starting point is 00:43:42 And I know a lot of times people say, you know, we're in the fight. We need your help. And I think one of the coolest things about working here is we're not just in the fight. We're here to win. At the Supreme Court, we've won 15 cases just in the last 13 years. we have an over 80% win rate. So we do what we do with excellence because of the people who are willing to fund and donate. Because all of these clients, the resource centers you were talking about, we represent them for free.
Starting point is 00:44:10 So they're not getting charged a dime. They couldn't afford to pay it. But God has given us this mission to go out there and win, and we try to fulfill that mission to the best of our ability. Well, listen, I just love you guys. And I obviously believe so strongly in what you're doing. and I know most in my audience do as well. So that's why I ask everybody to participate, even if you can give a little bit, folks, just participate,
Starting point is 00:44:33 be a part of fighting. Go to metaxis talk.com, or you can call 855-385-0-5-9-6. 855-385-0-9-6. Our God-given freedoms are facing unrelenting attacks. It's a battle for truth, and the only way we win is if we stand together. Thankfully, Alliance defending freedom
