you know that I wrote a book called Letter to the American Church. And you've heard me tell the story of, of preaching at Rob McCoy's church. This is now unbelievably two years ago, over two years ago. And there were two women in that congregation who were grizzled Hollywood veterans, even though they're too young to be grizzled Hollywood veterans. And they thought, oh, we need to make a film about Letter to the American Church. And they made a film called Letter to the American Church.

And it's been showing all over the country in, I think it's, It's a thousand churches have done screenings. I'll ask them about it. It is now my joy to talk to Rachel and Simone, the women behind the film, Rachel Tash. I mean, honestly, it's just, it's amazing that it's too.

years, but welcome. Thank you. Good to see you. Where do we start? Where are things now? How many churches, because we've said over and over and over again that churches, we want churches to screen the film for their people or for their communities because a lot of churches won't screen it. So you can go, if you're going to a church that refuses to screen it, you can go.

And so how many, roughly speaking, churches have screened the film? As far as we know, we have over a thousand. thousand churches that have screened the film. There have been a lot of other small groups, Bible studies, various other screenings at churches that we haven't been able to keep track of. But we know at least 1,000 churches have screened it, and it's screened in all 50 states in our country. And GOP organizations, there have been small GOP groups all over the country that have

screened it. The Patriot Academy, Biblical Citizenship Course, they got on board. They had small screenings across the country. There are so many more screenings that are unaccounted for because they didn't let us know that they were going to screen the film. They either purchased the DVD and had people over or they streamed it through the website and had a little group of people. So there's so many more. And it's not just in the United States. It's actually been screened in several other countries as well.

We can keep track of the online screenings. where which countries have screened the film. And UK and Canada are definitely second and third behind. Australia is very popular to screen the film as well. We have even some countries in Northern Europe, which have screened the film quite a bit. So it's really going international. It's beyond whatever we could have asked or imagined, quite honestly.

That is so a lot of this stuff is always hard for me to believe. I mean, I'm the main spokesperson in the film, but we have lots of other friends, heroes in it, John Amun Chukwu, Charlie Kirk, James Lindsay, my pastor, David Englehart, and on and on and on. It's just amazing to me to think that because the two of you had this vision that so many people are being exposed to all those that I just mentioned and to the ideas in the book letter to the American Church,

it is exciting. I hope that you feel gratified because it's just what you did, it really, really amazed me. I've said this many times publicly, the work that you did in making this film, because I'm not a filmmaker. And people say, Eric, thanks for the film you made. It's like, no, no, no, no, no. I didn't make it. I wrote a book, but I didn't make a film. You guys made the film.

Yeah, you know, the book was the inspiration for the film. And we're just so thankful, it really is God that has pushed this movie out. and it's gone very far and wide, and it's just been tremendous. We relaunched another church tour leading up to the election. We've partnered with quite a few people, as you know, My Faith Votes, Dobson Institute, Million Voices. We've just seen such tremendous response and a catching fire, people buying DVDs, handing them out.

We're really trying to awaken, not just your traditional Christian church, but many other churches have really gotten behind the film. A lot of Catholics, Jewish, Baptist. We've had such a diverse group of congregants, Methodist, all different types have seen the film. So it's been a great response. You know, all the glory to God, we're just so happy that people are seeing this and starting to wake up and realize what is going on and that they need to get activated. You know, this election is just very, very important, as we know. Every election is important, but this one is critical. We've just seen so much evil overtake our country.

these last four years that we really have to get engaged and put an end to this. Yeah, and Eric, I want to thank you, too, because you've been obedient to the Lord to, you've been obedient to the Lord to essentially preach this word about the church waking up and taking a stand in this hour. And there are things in the film that we put it in the film a year ago when we were finishing up. We just had no idea where we were going to be sitting on October 7th. them. I just got chills. I just looked at the date. It's literally a year since Hamas attacked

Israel, and we were going to release the film. We were going to release the film, but then this happened, the Hamas attacking Israel. And, you know, it just further proved our point with all of the, you know, college students across the country, aligning with Hamas and pro-Palestine and aligning with the Marxists. And so, you know, we could never have imagined that we could never have imagine that we would be here, you know, two assassination attempts later and, you know, this hurricane and the lack of response by this administration and all of these things. It's not what we wanted, but honestly, this is the hour of the American church. And if we don't take a stand in the next 30 days, we will lose this country. I know that's true. And what amazes me is how many people don't

understand that. How many people just think, oh, it's just business as usual. It's just another election. And so we're all doing everything we can. Everywhere I go, I'm speaking about this, to try to make people understand, if you do not make your voice heard now, if you don't get in the battle now, it is over. You don't get to do this in three years from now. There's nothing to do three years from now if we don't win the battle for this election now. You know, it's sort of like I always think of George Washington in seven, And I say this in the sequel to Letter to the American Church, my book, Religinalist Christianity, I talk about how we're in the third existential crisis of our history.

This is it. And if you'd said to George Washington in the first existential crisis, the revolution, in 1776, things were looking so horrible. But he knew that if God is with us in the cause of liberty, we just fight on and fight on. And so in 1776, it looked like all was lost. And the Battle of Brooklyn, the Battle of Long Island, if they had not preserved the army, which was miraculous, there would have been no revolution. It would have been over. America would have been strangled in the cradle.

And I feel like we're at that same place now, that this is it. If we don't get through November, if the church doesn't wake up in time so that we can win in November, we will not be able to fight. on. There is no ability to fight on if everything ends in November, just as it might have ended in, you know, the late summer of 1776. It could have all ended there. And I think there are many people that don't realize that. And it frustrates me. They're people that don't want to see it. They just think, well, it's just another election. And yeah, you know, they don't seem to understand that this is an existential crisis. And we're dealing with atheist Marxism like we've never seen. We've just never seen.

this. And I think it's because we haven't seen this that a lot of people are really just ignorantly thinking, oh, Kamala Harris and Tim Wallace, they're just, you know, they're just Democrats. No, this is not Mike DeKakis. This is not like Dick Gepardt. This is not, this is, these are radical anti-American leftists who are destroying this country. And if they're given the power, they will finish the job. Yeah. We've seen a real shift in our government to a Marxist, communist ideals, they don't even hide it anymore. So it's time for the church to get engaged and stand up and become more active. It makes me think also of, you know, Bonhoeffer always asked the question, what is the church?

And I've been asking that question now, because when people talk about the church, if the church is not engaged in this battle, then I say, is it the church? What is it? I don't really know. I mean, if you claim to be the church, but if you're not fighting with God against evil, what are you? How are you the church? I don't even know. And that's to me the horror of our time.

But it's very clarifying because you're seeing a division. You're seeing people that think, I don't want anything to do with this. I don't care. They don't care. They clearly don't care. And they think that's okay. And then there are others that really care and they're in the battle. And what I've been saying a lot is that if your church is not willing to do a free screening,

We just preach. Jesus would never stand against evil. No, we just. preach crowd-pleasing messages, all of it.

Prosperity gospel. I don't want to lose the congregation. I don't want to lose my tithes because that's our income to run the church. I mean, it is just Cushyville in much of the American church still in this hour. It's crazy. Now, I have to say that there are churches who have so surprised me. The denominations that have so surprised me that have stood up to view the film. So I think on both extremes, there are, you know, for us, we look at the list of all the churches that have screened the films, all denominations, right?

Even Lutheran, Catholic. And then the churches who you would think, oh, for sure they're going to screen the film. And then just crickets. You know, we've sent screeners to probably hundreds of pastors and her. back from just a portion of them. But that being said, we have to look at the positive in this hour as well, that there are thousands.

And like I said earlier, across the nations, people have screened the film. I'll also say that if you have read Eric's book, the film is different than the book, and the book is different than the film. So you're really going to get something from each of them. The book is incredible. It's fantastic.

It's a fast read. It's probably one of the shortest books you've actually. actually written Eric. And then the film is very fast-paced. 60-minute film. It moves very quickly. You'll be educated. You'll want to dive deeper on your own into other subjects. We have great music. And it's really just an eye-opening film that will awaken you to what has been going on for a very long time in the world and in our country. And it is here. So people really need to understand what is going on and that all is going to be lost. you know, we need to keep this country for our kids. That's why I made this film because I have young children.

I don't want my kids to be similar to communist China, you know, on a digital credit system and having to go to public schools and all of this and being indoctrinated and thinking that they could be any gender that they want. That is not what God intended for us and our families. So this is really critical for everyone to get engaged. This is really about, I mean, we're living in historic times. times. And none of us has previous to now lived in historic times. Everything's been pretty much, you know, we're moving along. There's stuff that happens. But we've never been at an inflection point, such as we are now. And I want to say to people, I mean, when I think of all the people that read my Bonhoffer book, I'm sure that most of the people who read my Bonhoffer book, most of the

people that read my Wilberforce book flatter themselves, that they would be right there with Bonhofer, if things like that happened, they would be right there with Bonhofer. And I'm here to say most of you who thought that you're kidding yourself or you're hypocrites because that has not been the case. Some of you have been heroic, but many of you are going to the same kind of churches that Bonhofer thundered against in his day, trying to wake up the church. Many American Christians are going to churches just like that. We do a nice service. Well, the devil loves your nice service because the last thing he wants is for that service to get controversial and where you might lose a few people. No, he doesn't want that.

He just wants it to stay on a nice religious level where you sing your hymns and they've got a nice, like, you know, children's choir or whatever it is. It's amazing to me that that which happened in Bonhofer's time, that so many people read my book on Bonhofer, they go, yeah, yeah, we get it, we get it, that when it came to us, as it has come now, many people still don't get it. And so I speak with this passion because I want to say, ladies and gentlemen, this is it for you. This is it. You have the privilege of doing God's will as though you are alive in Nazi Germany. You have that privilege now, but God will not force you. And so we made the film, Letter to the American Church, to galvanize people, to make people understand it's on me now. Right now, I can choose to embrace the will of God.

I can choose to stand for God's purposes for freedom, for human beings. dignity for all the things that the secular globalist Marxist left is at war against. I have an opportunity to do that now. And I want to exhort people, folks. If you haven't stepped up, this is it. When it's over, it's over. You don't get a do over. This is it. The battle is here now. And we've just got days, four weeks till this election. And if we don't win this election resoundingly, you will lose your freedoms. All the stuff that you never could thought could happen in America is going to happen. It will happen.

with your children and where you want to see your country go in the next four years. So it is very crucial that we show up. Many people died for us to vote. Don't let it go. Just make the time, get there, vote early. Let's make it too big to rig this time around. Yeah. And people say, oh, sorry, Eric.

People say, this is a conspiracy that it's so bad, or it's a conspiracy that it's Marxist, or it's a conspiracy that it's communism. I will tell you, Rachel and I live in California, and Gavin Newsom literally two weeks ago, signed into law a ban on political memes like political comedic memes leading up to the election. He signed into law censorship before the election. Now, thankfully, a federal judge struck that down because we still operate under a constitution in this country. But this is what this group is pushing to step on our Constitution. And guess what? Everyone would say, oh, you know, forget California, leave California, whatever. I will remind you that Tamala Harris has come right out of California.

And that person is up for leading this country, the person who worked closely with Gavin Newsom, who helped destroy San Francisco single-handedly along with Willie Brown and all of her cronies. So this is very real. This is very real. And right now, and it literally is 50% of the vote, if that makes sense. So there's Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, half and half on the ticket. So we have a big choice, folks. It's so, it's amazing because I think people often say, and Rachel, you just said,

oh, we're not going to tell you how to vote. I'm going to tell you how to vote. If you don't vote for Donald Trump, you're voting for Marxist, globalist, atheism. That's what you're voting for. So to pretend like, well, there's no well. This is like there's evil on the ballot and then there's imperfection on the ballot. Do you want evil or do you want imperfection? It's that clear. And again, I often in these talks that I give speeches, sermons, I always say, when people say like, oh, we don't want to be political in our church, if slavery is on the ballot, would your church be so cowardly and despicable?

that they would not speak about that from the pulpit, and they would not tell their congregants that before God, you have an obligation to vote against slavery? I mean, if your wife and children were being raped by the master, would you say, well, that's not my issue? This is as ugly as it gets when Christians say, I will not be involved because that's politics. Human lives are at stake.

And when we talk about rape, our southern border, We have cartels that have taken over the most bloodthirsty cartels, gangs that you can't even imagine trafficking human beings. It is so evil. When Christians say, I'm not going to take a stand on that. They are being willfully ignorant at best. And they are being handmaidens of evil. And they claim to be Christian.

So I want to make it real clear that nobody gets off the hook. Nobody gets to say, well, I don't, I'm not going to vote because I don't like this. don't like that. If you don't vote, you are welcoming some of the most wicked stuff we've ever seen. In fact, the most wicked stuff we've ever seen apart from the issue of slavery in this country. And this is real. So there are days left. I hope folks that you'll go to letter to the American Church.com and take advantage of what Rachel and Simone have made this fantastic film. It is literally one hour long. So this is not, you know, it's a lot. It's, It's not boring. It's very fast-paced. It's extraordinary. Rachel and Simone, any final thoughts before we go?
