Welcome to the Eric Metaxa show.
They say it's a thin line between love and hate, but we're working every day to thicken that line, or at least to make it a double or triple line.
Now here's your line jumping host, Eric Mattaxas.
Hey there, folks.
Before we get to Steve Dase, spelled D-E-A-C-E, I, we've still got a couple minutes left.
where I can blather on about what happened yesterday.
But oh, I still look, I don't know.
I'm processing this with my audience here, folks.
I was really so stunned by the whole thing that I am,
I'm as you can tell, I guess, still trying to process it all day yesterday.
I said that was a miracle.
That was a miracle.
God, I believed God spoke to me about the idea to call the 250th the
super centennial. And I thought, okay, when God spoke that to me, it seemed clearly to be intended
for President Trump, which means that if it is God's idea, then I have to have an opportunity to share
it with him. And I hate doing that in a way. I hate like, you know, he's the leader of the free
world. He's got a lot on his mind and who am I to, you know, come at him with this idea and
try to say, you know, you just sound like a lunatic. But going.
along with what President Trump said from the podium yesterday. Maybe Eric needs to have a little bit more
confidence. It's like, hey, if it's God's idea, go with it, Eric, right? So of course I did.
But to have him so quickly, I mean, 20 minutes after I share with him backstage to decide we're going
with it, that is nuts. This is why America loves Trump. We are so used to politicians who are
disingenuous, they say whatever needs to be said in the moment, and they don't mean a lick of it.
And the moment for me, the whole thing was entertaining. And I can't wait for the audience to watch
the whole interaction. But I'll tell you, honestly, Eric, the part that was the most powerful for me,
he complimented you, talked about your show, he talked about Supercentennial. Then he turned to his
staff in the room. And he said, make this happen. And you heard the page is turning. You heard people,
he delegated that to be done on behalf of the country right before our that happened real time.
There was no meeting.
There was no, we're going to, hey, Eric, we're going to talk about this a bit more, which is what most politicians would say.
He enacted it real time in front of the cameras in front of you.
Powerful.
That's a powerful, powerful, powerful gesture.
Well, look, he has a level of gifting of genius that is, it's, it's, it's.
undeniable. He is an outrageously gifted human being. And the good news is he's been created by
God. He didn't create himself. He can't take credit. God created him for God's purposes,
and God is using him for God's purposes in history. And that is obvious. And the hatred that
comes his way is proof of that.
They're people that
I mean, none of it
makes any sense that
you know, he's doing so much good
they don't care. They just
hate his guts. They will
happily embrace evil
if only to oppose
Donald Trump. It's the most bizarre thing.
So yesterday
when he does this,
I am in awe of his
ability to just pivot
instinctively go, yes, this is
happening. And listen, for me, the reason this is so joyful is because if you have a good idea
for someone, you want them to take it, right? And I don't mean for someone for Donald Trump.
I mean, for America, I thought, we don't, I don't want it to be like America 250. That doesn't
sound extraordinary enough. It's America's super centennial. We are alive, ladies and gentlemen,
to celebrate the super centennial of the nation. That is just,
an astonishing moment, 250 years. And I should say, just as we were in the revolution in 1776,
just as we were in 1860, we are now in an existential crisis. We got through the revolution.
We came into existence. I'm writing the book right now. It's going to be available for pre-sale at some point.
The story is mind-blowing that we ought never to have come into existence. What a miracle of God. And it is God.
brought America into existence. The Civil War, a similar thing. So you have an Abraham Lincoln
in the second existential crisis. You have a George Washington in the first. God has given us
Donald Trump for the third existential crisis of our history, this moment where we have to once
again figure out who we are and whether we're willing to pay the price to be a free
people, to drain the swamp, to slay the dragons that hate freedom, that hate America,
we haven't had to face that in our lifetimes.
We've had skirmishes and, you know, police actions, but an existent, this, we've been
in an all-out existential crisis in a war for the soul of the nation in the last number of
years.
And I think God has determined that he will save America.
And he's in the process of saving America.
And Donald Trump is his instrument.
And so I thought, you know, to be able to share this idea, which I thought was God's
idea with the president, to have him acknowledge it.
And I think the country will be happier when we say we're celebrating our super centennial rather than just,
it's America 250.
It's our birthday.
Like, yeah, but it's the super centennial.
It's our super this is our super centennial, you know.
So I'm just, I'm excited.
Now, before we get to Steve Days, there's been a lot of stuff in the news.
We'll be talking about that in the days ahead.
But just to remind people that I, Washington, D.C., where I was yesterday,
and the day before was the last part of my trip.
I started the trip last week.
I went to, I flew to Los Angeles because we had to drive up into the mountains north
of Pasadena.
It is so remote.
I was really freaked out by the remoteness of this location.
You drive up and up and up and up into the mountains.
We went to the Mount Wilson Observatory to film the first episode of the TV series based on my book
is Atheism Dead.
and why did we go to the Mount Wilson Observatory?
Because that is the telescope that Edwin Hubble used.
It was built in 1917, state of the art for the time,
could see into the heavens like nothing in the history of the world
had been able to do before.
So the furthest technology of the time was able to see into the heavens.
What did Edwin Hubble see and Alan Sandidge, his protege,
what did they see?
They saw with their eyes and were able to track that the universe is,
expanding. And that is what led to this idea of the big bang that the universe didn't always exist.
It was created 13.8 billion years ago. Who created it? How do you create something X-Nehalo?
How do you go? I mean, imagine you go to a scientist and they say, we know there was nothing, 13.8 billion years ago.
There was not just no universe. There was no time or space. That's the inconceivable part. That's what I'll tell you.
It came out of and came out of nowhere 13.8 billion years ago.
It points dramatically to God behind it.
That's a whole other topic for another time.
But that's what I did last week.
Flew up there.
We filmed there.
We'll get photos out on my Instagram.
And if you don't follow me on, if you don't get my newsletter at Eric Mataxis.com, you're missing all this stuff.
We're going to have a lot of fun photos and stuff.
But I did that.
I flew from there to Colorado Springs.
As some of you know, I've talked about Dr. James Dobson passed away, I guess, a little bit over a week ago.
Every year there's a gathering.
It's called The Gathering at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.
I'm most years, I'm invited to that.
This year, I was invited.
And of course, this year, Dr. Dobson, for the first time, was not there.
But all those who love him were gathered there.
So many friends were in the audience.
John, Amun Chukwu was there.
Joel Rosenberg was there, Victor Marks, was there Michelle Bachman, was there, Gary Bauer,
one of the most amazing conservative thinkers of our time, Gary Bauer. Oh, my gosh. I really
never quite appreciated him sufficiently until the last few years, but he is spectacular. And
same with Michelle Bachman, spectacular heroes. So I spoke that night, and of course the next day,
flew to Washington, D.C.
Man, it's just been a busy, busy time.
And there's just so much more coming up ahead.
But I'm again, I'm reeling from what happened with the president yesterday.
And we'll put that video is up on my Instagram account and my ex account.
We'll get it up.
If you don't subscribe to Ericmataxis.com to my newsletter, whatever, every week we send out all this kind of cool stuff.

Welcome back.
Finally, folks, I am not alone.
My guest, Steve Dase, is with us.
You get to hear someone other than me
talking. Steve, it is always great to have you
on the program. Welcome back.
Good to see you, brother. How you've been?
Well, I was just telling my audience, I'm reeling from having been in Washington, D.C., talking to the president yesterday, that's not normal for me. So that was really an outrageous thing. And there's so much going on in the news. So I couldn't wait until we could get to you because it's hard to process. I mean, there's something about living in this social media age, which we didn't grow up in, where, you know, everybody's talking about.
the, you know, the nasty woman who took the ball away from the boy, you know, like this is what,
the whole nation has decided this is what we need to talk about or whatever. And I, I'd rather not talk
about that. But we had last week, and I know you want to talk about this, and I do too,
RFK Jr. appeared in front of Congress. I don't have enough superlatives. I thank the Lord. I thank
the Lord for that man
whom I've had the privilege
of interviewing at length. Folks, you can watch
my long interview with RFK Jr. at Socrates
in the city, our YouTube account
Socrates in the city. He's brilliant.
But Steve,
you've talked about this issue of the vaccines
very much,
very, very much, as
is appropriate. Because this is a very
serious issue. And you and I were both
very troubled by
you know, President Trump kind of, you know, rah, ra, operation warps speed, not getting the memo that,
excuse me, Mr. President, we appreciate your efforts, but you were hoodwinked, sir.
Finally, to have him tap RFK Jr. on his team to get to the bottom of this and then to have that,
I mean, this is great news for America.
It is.
And, Eric, I would actually say both the event at the Phillies game and that hearing
we saw with RFK Jr. last week
are both very prophetic level
events. In
one case you saw
an MSNBC viewer, I guarantee
lives in a cul-de-sac, drives a Subaru
with a coexist bumper sticker, and thinks
that P-Tape is why Hillary Clinton was never
president. I guarantee you that's who she is.
But the emboldened
progressive white woman
viewer versus
the emasculated man is a
microcosm for where we are
as a culture. That was a prophetic
snapshot. On the other hand,
if you want a prophetic snapshot of what
it's going to take to get out of where we are as a culture,
it was the man in the
arena. One guy
against the entire system.
I mean, that was, that was,
and I'm speaking metaphorically,
that was Moses
in Pharaoh's court level stuff
politically. I mean, dude just
went there and said,
let my people go and just laid down
ordinance. And I mean, called people
into account, looking directly
at Elizabeth Warren and saying, you're just speaking because you took $855,000 some big
pharma. The only thing better than that would have been if you would have turned around and said,
how much of that did you donate to the local reservation? All right? But I mean, my man was on fire.
And that is such a standout event among the men of this era, Eric, because we just don't typically
see it. And it's why we are where we are. More than anything else, it is the condition,
the current condition, or lack thereof of, of the men.
And we could have been doing this.
You know, it's funny, just to show again a prophetic moment, you know,
one of the parables that Jesus told Eric that incensed the Pharisees the most was when he told
the parable of the banquet.
And he said, hey, you know, the time of the wedding, the event you've all been waiting
for is now at hand, but you're all too busy.
You've got other things going on.
You're not paying attention.
And so the king then turns to his servant and he says, open up the doors and let anyone
who will come now come to the event.
And he's talking about us as Gentiles.
right? And that incensed them more amongst
among all the parables that he told
that might have made them amongst the angriest because he knew what he was saying.
You are by rejecting me, now God will open us up to the rest of the world, the Gentiles.
And in some respects, as a party,
we could have done to this system what RFK Jr. did for decades.
We chose not to do it.
We chose to go for the seat at the table.
Rather than turning over the tables of the money changers,
we chose to get along to get along.
we chose to play lesser of two evils over and over again.
We did this for a generation.
And now here's a guy who's been a Democrat his entire life
and is really in many respects kind of still the old liberals of the 70s and 80s
that you and I grew up with on a host of issues, right?
But he's got real conviction on a few issues,
the kind that has cost him something.
He's been excommunicated by the closest thing America's ever had
to a royal family in our entire existence.
His relationship base, family base, wealth base,
all been stripped from him, all taken away.
because of this level of conviction.
And I would challenge all the men in this audience.
What have you lost for any level of conviction you have in your life whatsoever,
let alone what this guy has risked?
And you saw him take decades of that and put it all those chips onto the table.
And that was, and he just destroyed the system right to their faces.
And I'm struck by the fact that it required somebody outside of our native tent.
Well, maybe I shouldn't say things like this to the R after his name,
who's completely captured by the system because we're all on the same team, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah,
until we got this close to losing our entire country, Eric.
And so in comes, in comes RFK Jr. to say, you know what, I've already lost everything.
He's a little bit like Spock and Star Trek 4.
I've been dead once already.
It's very liberating, all. He's lost it all.
He's lost everything.
His entire birthright, he's got nothing to lose, and he just went in there and let it rip.
And that was, you see the two states of the American.
male, the passive guy in the Phillies video and RFK Jr. in that hearing. And, you know, go and do likewise
to the latter, not the former. Well, I got to tell you, when you reference Star Trek 4,
everything that happened in the Star Trek franchise after 1970, I skipped. But that idea in,
because this is a biblical idea, right? What are we supposed to do as Christians? I am supposed to die
to self. Bonhofer said, when Christ calls a man, he bids him come and die. We are called to die
to self, which is the only way to be resurrected with the living life of God. That's the only way.
To be truly free, you must die to self. And when you die to self and you don't care anymore because
you're dead, now God can work with you. And that's exactly what you're talking about. And these are
principles that they operate, you know, and again, like you said, they operate outside the system, right?
Let me, can I draw another parallel? Because I think this goes to the president as well. And again,
this parable of the banquets, hey, let's let's take it just strictly out of the, the, the, the,
the, the salvific sense that Jesus is talking about. And let's make it a broader metaphor and an allegory.
essentially we had a generation of Christian conservative activism and it largely just produced
Mike Pence with perpetual sister of perpetual furrowed brow that's largely what it produced no
okay hold on a second say say that again because that's too good sister of perpetually furrowed brow
that's Mike Pence all right he's got he's got a furrowed brow for every moment in a tis tisk don't
you know all right and he's nicer than god of course because the 11th commandment god forgot on the third
tablet Moses didn't take down the mountain with him is thou must be nicer than god and we
did this for a generation and nearly lost the entire country. And so here comes a couple guys.
And I didn't see it at first, which is why when the president came after me a decade ago and
offered me a job, I was like, I just, he doesn't fit the profile. I don't think this is right.
I don't think this is actually what God is doing. All right. So I missed it at first. But now it actually,
the biblical parallel is very perfect. Hey, the traditional system, the one I put in place that says
it's inspired by me did not do its job. And so therefore, we're going to,
open up the doors and whoever's willing to answer the call and do the right thing,
I'm going to use them.
All right.
And that's what you're seeing now, two guys in Trump and RFK Jr., whose personal lives at times
have been absolute train wrecks.
And we do not match up with anything we say that we are for.
But yet, when the bullets start flying, like Samson, they actually show up to the
temple of Dagon to tear down the pillars.
And many of the nice guys who bounce their eyes when the chick with the yoga pants walk
in and they've got all their pieties down, lickety,
man they're they're on lockdown with their pieties but when the bullets start flying they are nowhere
to be found whatsoever and cowards get thrown into the lake of fire first brother
ouch ladies and gentlemen i'm talking to steve dace in case you wondered who this maniac is steve
i just love you so much because you i didn't know it was actually this fired up and still we
started talking about it well listen no because listen this is i mean i've been saying
basically the same thing wherever I go,
that J.K. Rowling,
who doesn't publicly identify as a Christian.
Right.
She's more prophetic than 90% of evangelical pastors right now on gender madness.
More courage.
I mean,
and you see it over and over and over.
God will shame us.
He will go outside the system, right?
So he says to the Jewish establishment,
I'm going to shame you now.
I'm going to go to those dirty Gentiles.
Right.
Okay.
And God will do this.
And again, that's just an idea, folks.
The Lord uses that idea over and over and over again.
He'll go to a thrice married philandering New York real estate developer billionaire
to show the Church of Jesus Christ what courage looks like.
He does this over and over and over again.
And when we come back, we're going to be talking much more about this.
Steve, where can people find you online?
And the easiest thing to do is just go to my X account at Steve Day Show.
Everything I do is indexed and linked there at Steve Day Show on X.
And it's D-E-A-C-E, ladies and gentlemen.
Don't be fooled by counterfeits.
We'll be right back.
Welcome back talking to Steve Dase about the news.
And you were just saying, Steve, like, you know, this idea that Donald Trump goes outside the system and picks RFK Jr.
Now, I've got to say, folks, do you understand what a big deal that is for Donald Trump?
Because he knows that, you know, the pious evangelicals are going to say, oh, I don't know,
RFK Jr, he's, you know, there's something about his background that I don't know, or the
conservatives are going to say, oh, he's a, he's a Kennedy Democrat or whatever. And Donald Trump
looks at him and says, I think that's a warrior. I think he has, for decades, wanted to get
some of this stuff done. Nobody's gotten it done. So Donald Trump very bravely taps him to do this
stuff. And RFK Jr., I want to tell you, ladies and gentlemen, this is what Steve was saying. Like,
he lost a lot of friends and a lot of family members despise him, because
he decided he's going to throw in with the Trump administration to get done this stuff that he cares
about. So he's a heroic figure. And we saw it last week. And you were talking about it, Steve,
his performance in that arena. Oh, my goodness. It's just what a beautiful thing. And how it exposes
the utter corruption, the filthy corruption of those members of the legislative branch who've been taking
millions of dollars from Big Pharma to murder your children, ladies and gentlemen.
They're taking that money, looking the other way while bad stuff happens.
They don't care.
They're taking the money.
Oh, my God.
I kind of wonder, Steve, what do you think is going to come of this?
Do you think there's going to be a reckoning with them?
I certainly hope so.
Well, to me, that was the kind of moment now where the genies out of the bottle.
And either, to me, the Trump administration is somewhat kind of.
committed doesn't mean and I don't know that I necessarily buy in to like every aspect of RFK
juniors thoughts as a counter to conventional medicine. I just know I have absolutely zero trust
in conventional medicine after what I went through and exposed during the scamdemic.
And now we're being told now we're being told that healthcare is allowing a woman to murder
her child provided his pinky finger is dangling from the uterus, but the rest of the body is out
into the open air. You can kill it. But if you're
You can't have your child born.
Your birth child cannot be denied a hepatitis vaccine or that or because of a mandate.
That's the system.
If that's your public health care system, you don't have a public health care system worthy of preserving.
I'm not sure RFK Jr. and I would necessarily agree on what the alternative to the current system would be.
But I will tell you this.
I'm going to listen to his suggestions 50 times first before I listen to what the people who gave us the scan we currently have,
what they think we ought to do instead.
And I think that's what you're kind of watching now.
all right i think the timing of trump bringing the meta people and all those people on the end of the
white house on the same night of course that was scheduled in advance but i think the timing of that
is not necessarily coincidental from a from a art of the deal standpoint i can almost see trump saying
to big tech to big pharma to those guys hey um this is my enforcer all right and you know we're
not against your technology you know that drug ivermectin you all just won a Nobel Prize for in
2015. Why did you stand by and just let it get smeared? Why'd you do that? When we had a lot of evidence
that it might actually work for early onset symptoms against COVID. Why'd you do that?
See, I think RFK Jr. could be very effective to the Trump administration is essentially as a
leverage bargaining tool because we're not going back to crystals and copper bracelets and,
you know, and hey, we're evangelical homeschoolers. I've got my own vat of essential oils, all right?
But that's not going to help you with a broken leg, okay, or a tumor. All right? So I think,
could see Trump utilizing RFK Jr. and saying, hey, if you guys, you know, on one hand,
we're hiding you behind liability shields. On the other hand, you're lying to me about the data
and you're facing and you're lying to the public and you're censoring people that want to
question you. So maybe we need to balance the scales a little bit more here in the marketplace of
ideas. And RFK Jr. kind of being, you know, his enforcement mechanism where that is concerned.
I can see, you know, given his past and art of the deal is kind of the heart of Trump's worldview,
I could see that that might be the process he is working through at the moment.
It's funny because I'm seeing similar things in my own mind.
When he brought in Zuckerberg and Bill Gates and company,
I mean, I think of these people.
They may as well have horns coming out of their heads.
Correct.
These are dark figures.
But what makes Trump genuinely extraordinary is his ability to,
you've all heard it, you know, keep your friends close
and your enemies closer.
He brings them in, and he's playing a game.
I mean, he does it with Putin.
He does it with heat.
Nobody has the ability that he is so gifted by God in this way to be able to bring them in.
And in a sense, use the power of the presidency to get them to play ball rather than simply say,
you know, I won't break bread with them.
They're evil.
Yeah, they've done tremendously evil things.
but Trump has an ability somehow to pull them in and to get them to do some of the things we don't know,
but that you would think that he'd want to get them to do.
He is playing the art of the deal.
And it's tough for hidebound conservative sometimes to watch it because we just get triggered.
I mean, I'm one of them.
I will admit, I'm one of them, man.
Listen, I've got an advanced degree from the Milton Friedman School of Economics.
I earned first chair in the Paul Wyrick Heritage Foundation Orchestra.
I mean, I mean, this is, I was head of the class.
Okay.
So, I mean, I got into this as an ideologue, all right?
And so I have to guard myself all the time before I even go on the air.
And I have to say this to my audience sometimes.
Just watch what he does and not what he says.
Like, for example, I lost my bells on the maybe we need to bring in 600,000 Chinese.
But here's why I did that.
The reason I did that, the reason I did that is because Trump previously brought in 300,000 Chinese, right?
See, his actions already on that were like, no, and that's why I oppose this.
But on the stuff with meta coming in and Gates, I didn't say a word.
Why?
Because that struck me as hardcore art of the deal.
And then sure enough, what did Trump post first thing Monday morning on truth social?
That hardcore anti-vax video that's been banned everywhere, he posted it on his own truth social.
All right?
Because, again, what I saw in the first instance was that was something he was wrong about in his first term.
entertain that. We should absolutely oppose that and let them know we do. But on the second front,
what I saw was clearly a negotiation is happening. We'll be right back talking to Steve Dase.
Welcome back talking to our friend Steve Dase. Steve, you know, it is a funny thing to watch on
X, you know, as I kind of get my news every day on X because I follow the people that I trust.
And it's funny to see people get triggered by the president doing stuff, people that I admire and follow saying like, how come we haven't had more arrests or how come this or how come that?
And so I'm tracking with that.
But there's a part of me, and you just spoke about this, that says, wait a minute, Trump is playing.
He really is playing for the chess here.
This is not, it's not always so simple.
So there's a time, as you just said, to say, hey, wait a minute.
But even when he said about bringing in the 600 Chinese students, 600, what did he say?
600,000.
I mean, that number when he said that, I thought that can't be right.
That's the craziest thing.
You know, we're talking about more than half a million, half a million Chinese.
That doesn't seem right.
But there was a part of me that's even wondering when he says something like that, is he
floating a trial balloon? Is there some kind of backdoor game that he's playing with President
Xi of China? Is there something else going on there where he knows that his base will get upset
and they'll do the dirty work of saying no? I don't know. I really don't know. And we don't know either.
And to me, that's why I think for me, and everyone's got to do this their own way, right? What your
conscience can justify, what you want to be held accountable to, what credibility and integrity you want to
have with your audience. What I've staked out with my audience is we're going to respond to what he does
and not what he says. And we're going to give him a lot of latitude in what he says because frankly,
he's trying to negotiate with a lot of disruptive elements that are opposed to our way of life.
And yet we have to share this planet with them nevertheless. But again, on the Chinese student thing,
I mean, that's one of the reasons we had a massive spread of COVID, okay, is because we had 300,000
Chinese college students in this country, you know, heading into the winter break, the Christmas
break of 2019, 2020.
So there was a precedent for agreeing to that action.
That's why I chose.
Somebody else might have disagreed.
I'm okay with that, you know, but that's why for me, I chose to speak up about that
because there was a precedence for that action.
I think the hiring on the, and I was, I've been a staunch critic of Operation Warp Speed, as you know.
But to me, the hiring of RFK Jr. was literally like employing a tribunal, making a tribunal happen.
So I've exercised a lot of restraint and a lot of patience.
I mean, just to give your audience a quick understanding,
I had a, I had someone who runs another department of high,
um, high,
of high name ID in the federal government.
It would be something everybody would know, but not in the health care sector.
Call me a couple of weeks ago because someone in the vice president's office
recommended they come to me and ask for help that needed help with messaging,
uh,
and media.
And I'm like, you're running one of the biggest departments in the federal government.
Why are you calling me?
And this person told me, um,
everybody in the media.
department that I inherited in this agency is they're all still wearing masks and it's the dead of summer.
I can't trust any of these people. And I think we need to be a little bit more sensitive to just
how chronic and acute the absolute permanency of the swamp. And it's not necessarily that even the
department heads, but it's the people that on a day-to-day basis, administration by administration,
run the nuts and bolts of things in order for you to get things done. I think that's why it took
RFK Jr. about six months to get his feet underneath him. I hope he gets the feet, I hope he got the
hint from the Senate last week. Stop having any restraint. Stop showing any temperance whatsoever.
These people cannot be trusted. There needs to be an exorcism. Amen. Amen. And amen.
I have to tell you, you know, I have for years also hoped that somebody would have the guts
finally to talk about autism and vaccines, right?
When Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey were talking about this, I don't know, 20 years ago or whatever it was, you know, whenever people tell you, oh, you can't talk about that, oh, you'll be labeled an anti-vaxxer.
You'll be, you know, common sense says there's something going on.
What is this rise in autism?
And by the way, ladies and gentlemen, this is not the measles.
Okay.
I have very, very dear friends with severely autistic kids.
This is one of the most horrible things.
And so the idea that we finally, by the grace of God, are openly asking this question,
which it seems that there is, heads have to roll, folks.
This is a big, people have taken money so that our children can suffer so that families can suffer,
and you think there are going to be no consequences.
This is as dark as it gets.
This is a movie.
This is, you know, Mr. Smith goes to Washington that corrupt pigs have taken money.
And they don't care if you die or your family suffers.
This is the definition of evil and corruption.
And it exists today, okay?
We haven't moved past the fall.
There are people willing to take money to get power and they don't care about you.
And we have to get to the bottom of it.
So the fact that that RFK Jr. dares with the president's backing, dares to ask these questions.
I think there are people in Big Pharma quaking in their boots right now. I believe that.
To me, I see the president undoing the mistake that was made from the outset of COVID,
where we had dissident voices like Jay Bautichari and John Ionidis and others at Stanford standing up to Fauci and Berks and saying,
this is way too far. The president at that point should have just literally put them all in the room,
put them on camera, put it on C-SPAN and said, 60 minutes, experts against experts,
you guys figure this out and let the country watch, right?
Well, now we're going to see that.
All right.
He's going to let RFK Jr.
ask these people the questions that they've never had to answer before.
Maybe they've got the data, Eric.
Maybe they've got the answers.
Let's find out.
Well, it's a big deal.
I mean, it's a big deal.
And it's just shockingly refreshing.
I just were refreshingly shocking.
It is just so wonderful that we could finally be asking real questions
and demanding real answers.
that we could all breathe again, that we don't guess.
We're going to go there as a nation.
We're going to have the guts to ask the questions.
And I just, I am, I'm very, very hopeful.
I have to say, I'm very, very hopeful.
And you and I know, Steve, that this president is Hercules Unchained.
What they did to him, it's like a movie with Slice Stallone or Liam Neeson, that they're just
so beat up in the first act that you know, revenge is coming.
They have been activated.
get ready.
Like, you know, their family has been killed or something.
It's what you said earlier about, you know, Spock, when you die, when you're like,
okay, you know what, I'm dead.
So I don't care anymore.
I'm going to do whatever.
We're seeing that in this president right now and he is deputizing people and whether,
you know, Dan Bongino or Cash Patel or.
or Pam Bondi or Tulsi Gabbard,
when they're going to arrest people,
when we don't know,
but he has hired the people
and put them in place to do the kind of stuff
that you only dream about
and you kind of assume never really ever happens.
I think it's happening.
We'll be right back talking to Steve Dase.
Welcome back talking to Steve Dase,
whom I recommend you follow.
So Steve, what else?
What do you think?
I think historically, and I know you love your history too, Eric, the side that says we don't have to defend what we believe to you.
I can't think of a single time they've ever been on the right side, ever.
And frankly, there have been times in the history of the church where the church behaved this way, and it was on the wrong side of history.
I mean, we are commanded to offer the world hope that the Greek word there is where we get the word apologetics, apologia.
offer the world hope for the, you know, the reasons for the hope that we have.
We, there's a, God left his word.
Of course he wants to explain himself.
Of course he wants to be known.
Of course he wants to answer your questions.
Of course he wants to know what you think.
He left you his word.
I mean, he came in human form.
Can't be any more intimate than to come in human form to live with you, to, to dine with
you, to pray with you, to suffer with you, to, you know, to grieve with you.
It can't be any more intimate than a letter and a personal appearance.
Those are the most intimate ways to interact with people all throughout human history, and God did that.
He wants truth to be known.
Jesus says to pilot, for this reason I came into the world, to testify to the truth.
Let's let the truth have its way.
And my fear is that America's like Gotham at the beginning of the Dark Night rises.
All these noble lies that we lied to ourselves about, and we didn't want to let the truth have its way, didn't trust the people.
And then a bane-like figure arises and distorts all of that and perverts all of that.
and that's your Operation Wall Street and that's your intersectionality and that's your wokeism,
demonic perversions of that.
It is time to let the truth out.
It's time to let the truth have its way.
It's time to fumigate the place.
It's time to let it air out, let it breathe, and clean out all that junk in the closet and
underneath the bed.
Well, again, it's what a privilege to be alive at this hour and to see this because I think
that so many of us over the years just thought, nothing ever happens.
You know, we were all, I remember being all excited.
you know, about the presidency of George W. Bush,
uh, being all excited that, oh, Mike Pence is, uh, is the vice president.
And they don't seem to have the fire.
They don't seem to have the, the, whatever it takes.
They didn't seem to care.
They kind of drifted along.
Unless it's Ukraine.
If it's Ukraine, they get real fired up, brother.
They get really fired up over Ukraine.
Yes.
They're fired up about that.
Yeah.
I mean, oh my gosh.
Let's not get it.
But to have a president, I was talking earlier before you came on about his instincts are astonishing.
He is gifted by God.
And I want to always be clear, folks.
God invented Donald Trump.
He has our gifts from God for God's purposes in history.
And this president has a staggering instinct to watch him do what he does.
on the fly. And even when he gets it wrong, I trust him. You know, he doesn't get much wrong.
Like, the one thing that he did recently that actually upset me was when he said,
oh, we're going to have like a, what do you call it, a, you know, a cage match, July 4th,
2026 at the White House. We're going to have a, did you know about this?
No, I did not know about this. Yeah. Well, when I heard that, I thought that's not the way to
celebrate the nation's super centennial.
Like that, that's terrible.
And I just heard from an inside source, oh, no, that's not happening.
That date was changed or something.
It's very rare the president does anything that I go, wow, I think that's a mistake.
But even when he does, I'm just saying, like, we need to really keep praying for him.
Folks, I don't just say that.
That's not like sort of pray, hope.
Pray for this nation.
pray for this president.
We're living through historic times,
and Steve, you and I have been tracking it.
It is astonishing to think that we are alive at a time
where we see these things actually happening,
where heads will roll, perhaps not literally, folks,
but we have a president in an administration
that seems finally willing to do what needs to be done.
We mentioned RFK Jr. and others.
Steve, we're out of time.
Just always great.
to have you on. Thank you, my friend, for everything you do.
You bet. Same to you, brother. Thank you.
