And now here's your Ralph Cramden of the Airways, Eric Mott, Texas. Hey, the folks, welcome back.
Starting point is 00:00:53 I'm excited to have, as my guest, briefly, Albin Sater. Albin, you and I are going on a cruise to the Greek islands. And no, it's not a romantic thing between you and me. It's not. It's much more than that. It's 300 people who we're going to all have a romantic experience in the original meaning of the word romantic. And we're going to go to the Greek islands.
Starting point is 00:01:20 It starts June 6th through 16th. I think there are people listening right now who maybe now, like a month out, they realize, you know what, I could do this. June 6th through 16th, I'm free those 10 days and I could do this. folks there are still cabins available and i haven't mentioned it lately but since albin and i are both going to be on the cruise we just thought we've got to mention this so this is uh the website is eric mataxis dot com slash cruise when you go to that website ericmataxis dot com slash cruise there's a phone number because it's around a month away you need to call the phone number but they have some great prices. Sometimes if you wait to the last minute, you get a bargain, and that is the
Starting point is 00:02:09 case. So it's Ericmetaxis.com slash cruise, and you got to call the number. Now, Albin, you just reminded me, and I've forgotten that, you know, you're coming on this cruise. This is a blood. John Zmirak. Yes. It's going to be on the cruise. Victoria Jackson is going to be on the cruise. And so many friends, old friends, new friends, everywhere I go, I was just where we were. was I just in Winachi, Washington, Washington State. Somebody comes out to me, we're coming on the cruise. Everywhere I go, people are telling me we're going to be on the cruise. It's going to be a blast.
Starting point is 00:02:47 And for most of us, we've never been to these places in Greece. I mean, when I go to Greece, I go to visit my family. All these crazy places we're going. So you are coming on the cruise and you have been doing some research. Yes, yes. Well, Anne's always very serious. When we went to England, you know, she had to study all the places we're going. She had me study it, like taking a little class.
Starting point is 00:03:10 So when we decided to go on the cruise, and, of course, started ordering all kind of books about Greece and Turkey and all the places that were going, and she had me memorized things. And so I'm reading about the ancient Greece history, Greece history. In fact, apparently, 130,000 years ago, they found some bones that date back that far. Of course, we're wondering, like, yeah, right, 130,000 years ago. That's right. There was somebody, there was a civilization going on. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. What, what, what? It says in this book here, a brief history of ancient Greece. I was just reading like the first chapter.
Starting point is 00:03:47 And it goes back all the way 130,000 years ago. Okay. Where they found some bones that date back to 130,000 years. Okay, Albin, are they claiming that they're human bones? That's really kind of mean. That's what it says. You didn't say that. No, that's what it says.
Starting point is 00:04:03 Well, it's human. Of course, yeah. What do you mean? When you say bones, people don't know that you mean human unless you use the term human. Well, I thought it was obvious like the title of my book. I'm sorry to say it was not obvious. So now that we know what you're talking about, you're telling me that this book about ancient Greece claims that somebody found human bones 130,000 years ago, let me be very clear. That's baloney.
Starting point is 00:04:30 Yeah. I don't believe that there were humans, 130,000. years ago, hey, I'm open to whatever, but that sounds like baloney. But, but anything else that you learned in this book that would be of interest to us, because I know that you and Anne are studying up on Greece and on Turkey. It's exciting. Yeah. The discovery meant that Homo sapiens arrived in the Mediterranean region far earlier than what we once thought. Far earlier, you'll think so, far earlier than like seven or eight, five thousand years ago, as the Bible might tell us. And the other thing I like about this book or don't like,
Starting point is 00:05:07 it always says the BCE, before common error, era, right, BCE. You and I discussed this before. It's not B.C. before Christ. It's before common error, error. But then what era over there talking about before the birth of Christ?
Starting point is 00:05:24 So they, but they have to call it BCE. Well, anytime you read BCE, it's the politically correct nonsense version. And we have to be clear. Well, anything more specific that you've discovered? Yeah, they talked about language. I thought this was funny. The Minoans.
Starting point is 00:05:42 The Minoans. Minoans. The Minoans. The Minoans is the civilization in Crete that existed. It's roughly 1900 BC. That's right. Yeah. And they had a script, a script.
Starting point is 00:05:58 They called Linear A, Linear A, okay? So then after that, there was another script. They couldn't decipher what linear, what that script was, but it was followed by another, the Mycans, right? Mycenaeans. Mycenaeans, they came up with linear B. That was the second version of the script. Now, I've talked about that on this program many times,
Starting point is 00:06:22 and I know you must not have heard those episodes, but I am so fascinated with linear B. And I will be talking about this on this cruise. I'll give a talk on this because it is so fascinating. Some people know that I'm obsessed with the story of Odysseus and Homer. And it basically, one of the reasons I'm excited about going to Crete is that Sir Arthur Evans, around 1900, did an excavation. He discovered the palace at Knaosos, which I'm going to be visiting. If you're coming on this cruise, you can come with me. It's very exciting. But they discovered all these.
Starting point is 00:07:00 tablets with writing on them, which was a syllabic script. And nobody knew what it was. And it took 50 years to decipher the linear B. And they determined that it was just a different way of writing the Greek language, which proves that the Greek language goes all the way back before the Greek alphabet another thousand years and that there were Greeks living there. So we can't say, oh, was the Dorians or it was who knows who was. It was a Greek civilization. Anyway, forgive me. But I get so excited. And the Minoans, they've never been able to figure out Liner A, but Liner B, they have deciphered it. Yeah, and they talked about what happened to the Greek Empire. Basically, there's all these people, you know, it was a popular people. They were a great place to go.
Starting point is 00:07:44 And suddenly all these migrants kept coming in, the more and more people, you talked about the Dorians and all that. And suddenly, it was, it was kind of washed out a little bit, kind of like what's happening to America. Suddenly more and more people are coming in and it's becoming less and less American. And of course, I'm not sure that I agree with this thesis with the Doria. Like, I'm a little confused right now by the dating. Well, what they're saying is what, but what happened was when the Romans came in, they took over, but the Greek civilization actually influenced the Roman,
Starting point is 00:08:16 like the Romans didn't totally take, come over, come in and wipe out the Greeks, because the grief had Sofifloplachl and Aristotle and all these other great people. They actually added to what the Romans had. It wasn't like, you know what I mean? They were able to keep their civilization. You sound like you're channeling Norm Crosby and Professor Irwin Corey. And I don't think that's intentional, but it's nonetheless entertaining. Folks, can you imagine how entertaining this cruise is going to be? There's so, Alan, we have 300 people
Starting point is 00:08:46 signed up. And I want to, I want to say again, there's still room, folks. I wasn't sure, but there is still room. The only problem is you have to call the number. So you want to go to Ericmetaxis.com slash cruise, ericmetaxis.com slash cruise. And you have to call the number because it's only, you know, five weeks away. So you have to call the number. It's going to be fun.
Starting point is 00:09:15 Albin and I are going to be writing go-karts with John Zmirak and Victoria Jackson. Can you imagine this, folks? Can you even imagine? I'm going to be giving lectures, you know, not every night, but close to it. and Q and A, and we're going to get to talk about all this fun stuff. I'm just excited about it. I'm so glad that you and Ann are coming. Yeah, I'm really excited about the Island of Creed, too, because it's so huge.
Starting point is 00:09:38 And like you said, the discoveries that have been made recently that you can talk about, about what, Troy, and, you know, because is it mythical? Is it real, right? Those kinds of things. I'm going to have to give a talk on that. So maybe that'll be talk number seven. I don't know if I have the time or the energy, but it is exciting. Okay, we're out of time, folks.
Starting point is 00:09:56 I want to remind you again, it's Ericmetaxis.com slash cruise. And I want to remind you, if you want to give to free a slave, go to metaxistock.com. Starting point is 00:12:21 You've got a copy on me, big fan. Come on. Hey, yeah. Hey there, folks. Welcome back. Right now, we get to talk about something that is very close to my heart. That is very, very important. How do we use God's money? How do we invest God's money? Are we being good stewards of God's money in how we invest it? What is biblically responsible investment? Fortunately, I have as my guest right now, somebody who knows more about this than anyone I know, it's a very important. It's a very important. It's a very important. It's a very important. It's Robert Netsley. He's the CEO and founder of Inspire Advisors. Robert, welcome back. Thank you so much. Glad to be back. Well, this is important for people. And I know people listen to this show on and off. So people may have not heard you before. Some of them have. But this is so central. We have power.
Starting point is 00:13:20 You know, I get to vote. Okay, that's one way I can exercise this power that God has given me. I have money, how I spend my money, where I spend my money. How we invest our money, where our money is invested is absolutely huge. And you've been at the forefront of trying to wake people up to understand how serious this is and how if we abdicate our role in this, we are letting, you know, evil actors use our money for evil ends. So you've been just absolutely at the forefront of this. and I want to know, you know, what's new in this world? What's going on with you?
Starting point is 00:13:58 What have you been up to? Yeah, I mean, there's a lot new in the world. This whole movement of, you know, the backlash against ESG and DEI, and really a lot of that is driven by faith-based investors, biblically responsible investing movement, has been huge. So we've been working overtime over here. Lately, a lot of our work has been centered around the abortion drug, myth of pristone, and keeping that out of the largest pharmacies in the country.
Starting point is 00:14:23 So a really big, important task, and we've had some exciting developments on that. Well, a lot of people don't know. I mean, it's so fascinating. And again, this is where greed comes in. This is folks where everything is a moral issue, right? You have people in Big Pharma making a lot of money. And in some cases, looking the other way, the abortion drug, for example, we know that it kills children in the womb. but the facts on how dangerous it is to women taking it has just been kind of shoved aside.
Starting point is 00:14:59 This is scandalous and this is pure greed. People making money, they don't really care if a woman, if a number of women suffer are miserable. They don't really care about that. So it's scandalous on every level and we need to be aware of it. But Robert, what are you finding? What is the work you've been doing? What is the exciting news that you're alluding to?
Starting point is 00:15:24 A little background under the Biden administration, some access was expanded, so to speak, for Mithiphrastone, allowing retail pharmacies to apply for this exemption to dispense Mitha Pryston directly to the retail public without a presence of a doctor. Obviously, it's still a prescription, but just really a radical step that went, against FDA recommendations and all these things that really puts women at risk,
Starting point is 00:15:55 and of course, let alone the babies. And so when that came out, we started working as shareholders with Albertsons, Kroger's, Costco, Walmart, and McKesson. So five of the largest retail pharmacies, Walgreens was about two minutes after the announcement. They jumped on the bandwagon and wanted to dispense the Smithpricestone. And as we have been engaging with those, we have some exciting developments, specifically with Walmart and with Kroger's. So just in the past several weeks, we were able to sit down with representatives from Walmart as an ongoing part of our conversation. And they have given us, you know, assurances that they are not selling Mithferstone and have no plans to sell Mifth Pirstone.
Starting point is 00:16:46 where previously they were they were considering this croger's same thing it actually taken steps to go down that path we filed a shareholder resolution with crogers and now they have given us the same sort of assurances that they are not selling it and do not have plants to sell them to pristone so praise god keeping you know 60% of abortions are being done by by pill and keeping more of those pills out of the largest pharmacies is going to save life so we're just praising god for such grace look this is a huge this is a huge this is is great news. This is a huge, huge win. God bless you, Robert Netsley, for leading on this. This is so monumental. I really can't overstate what I'm hearing you say here. Walmart and Kroger, these are gigantic chains that have been persuaded by the grace of God. They've been persuaded not to carry these evil drugs that don't just kill children in the womb, but that harm women. This is just huge. And so this is one thing to think about, folks. Are you invested with Walmart and Kroger or are you invested with companies that say, you know what, we're very happy to carry these horrible pills.
Starting point is 00:18:08 We're making money off of it. that's a bigger side of the issue. But you said that you, well, that you persuaded them because there are shareholders who are saying, excuse me, Walmart, we, we own some shares with you. Kroger, we own some shares with you. We don't like this. Will you change it? Somehow they listen to reason. I'm just amazed at this good news. Yeah. And here's the thing is when you, as a shareholder, to reach out. I mean, there's people whose job is to listen to shareholders, right? And we represent lots of shareholders. In both of these cases, in fact, all of these companies that I mentioned, these five companies, we're able to have these conversations specifically because of clients of
Starting point is 00:18:57 ours at Inspire Advisors, our wealth management division. We have 40 offices around the country with financial planners working with, you know, thousands of thousands of Americans on their retirement plans, et cetera, et cetera. But because of those shares are held with us and as fire advisors, instead of at, you know, fill in the blank Wall Street firm, we're able to take that and on the behalf of our clients make these meetings happen. And so, yeah, you know, myself and some of our team get to be in the room. We have those conversations. But frankly, we wouldn't be able to have this conversations if it wasn't for our clients making the decision to leave the big Wall Street firm to come work, you know, put their money to work here.
Starting point is 00:19:41 So it really does matter where your investment account is. Yes, it matters what you invest in. You'd probably be appalled at the sort of things that are in your investment account. If you haven't looked at that before, the money you're making on abortion drugs and all sorts of things. But also the firm at which you have your assets determines who gets to advocate and what values get advocated for. A lot of Christians and other conservatives have had their money at Wall Street firms that are using. that money to advocate for extremely liberal, you know, causes. In fact, there's big firms that are pushing against our efforts on the Mitha Preston thing, encouraging, like the New York City Comptroller
Starting point is 00:20:17 and others who are pushing these firms to, or these companies to dispense Mithraestum, and we're on the other side. So we need more to join the team over here. We need investors to join the movement. We have a website up, Inspired Advisors.com slash Eric, where you can get a free report on what you're currently invested in. We educate you for free, no strings attached. So you can actually take some action. We hope that you would decide to work with one of our advisors so we can help be your advocate. And you can be part of these stories, right? To really change the landscape and save lives, frankly, in this scenario.
Starting point is 00:20:51 Okay. So I want to be clear. This is an action point, folks. This is what you can do. You can move your money from wherever it is to inspire advisors. Obviously, I hope you'll do that. You're hearing the story. To do that, the website is Inspireadvisors.com slash Eric.
Starting point is 00:21:13 Inspireadvisors.com slash Eric. This is, you know, Robert, I keep thinking this is a movement. This is something that's been going on. It's fairly recent because of folks like you. And we're going to change the world. This is going to change the world. everyone, for example, who signs up with Inspire Advisors, just that changes things. Tons of money is advocating for biblical principles, advocating against satanic principles.
Starting point is 00:21:50 And so many of us were just waking up. We didn't know. You know, we all think, well, what can I do? What can I do? Well, here's something you can do, folks. It's amazing to me that over the decades, people have woken up. take an action. And Robert, you're at the top of the list here, you know, this whole idea that you've given your life to making it possible for people to take God's money and put it toward the good
Starting point is 00:22:17 and to take it away. I mean, it's an amazing thing when you find out that as we've just been going along passively, that our money, God's money, is being used for wicked ends. You think, what? How did that happen? What is going on? I didn't approve of that. Well, you did. And so you have to do something about it. So before we go to the break, I just want to underscore the action point, folks. It'll take you a second. It's important.
Starting point is 00:22:46 Go to inspireadvisors.com slash Eric. There's a number of things there. I won't go into it. But you'll see Inspireadvisors.com slash Eric. We'll be right back with Robert Nessley. the one they picks, the one you know by. Folks, welcome back. It's my joy to continue my conversation with Robert Netsley,
Starting point is 00:23:33 the CEO and founder of Inspire Advisors. And Robert, I'm a little bit like a broken record. Every time I have you on, I'm just excited that it's possible to do something. Most people have money invested. They're not quite aware of it. The very idea that we can kind of wake up to the reality, that we do have choices, that we can have God's money invested in things,
Starting point is 00:24:00 not just that we approve of, but that are actually making it possible for you and other advocates to say on behalf of these shareholders going to a big company and say, we don't like this, can you change this? And many of them are going along with that. That is absolutely amazing to me. What you just shared about Walmart and Kroger, this is great news. It makes me want to run to Walmart and spend money because I want to bless them. You know, in this case, they're taking a big step.
Starting point is 00:24:31 Absolutely. And, you know, and praise God. And there really is a movement. And when you think about Walmart, they employ millions and millions of people around the country or around the world. How many people shop there. We really are making a difference. And it's, you know, getting recognized beyond a scale that I could imagine. So our firm, we're managing over $3 billion at this point.
Starting point is 00:24:56 We've been ranked in the fastest growing firms in the nation. But just last week, the USA Today came out with their rankings and ranked inspired advisors, the third best financial advisory firm in the country, across all categories, all states. And, you know, much to the chagrin of the, you know, extreme leftists who say that our viewpoints are backwards and on the wrong side of history. And we can't possibly deliver. good returns or good results if we're managing things according to this antiquated and acronistic
Starting point is 00:25:28 Bible that we tote around, you know, and ostentfully thump people over the head with. It's just ridiculous to them. But here we are, the top three in the entire country across all firms, all sizes, every state out front leading with biblical values and advocating for these things that we believe in. And that's a win for everybody who invest with us, every client, and every client who sent us a referral, everybody who has talked to their aunt Sally about where her money is and told her she needs to take a look at that too. People like you, Eric,
Starting point is 00:26:00 who are so passionate advocates for this movement, you know, it's getting attention. And, you know, in our industry, the Wolfman manufacturing industry is not exactly a conservative bastion. You know, Wall Street's not exactly known for that. You know, conservative values, particularly in the social values. And they just, a lot of people just, sort of stand a gas and they're confused. How could this be at all successful? But you and I know
Starting point is 00:26:28 that there are still a lot of people in this country, probably the majority of people I'd imagine, who do believe that these things are important. And they want their money to be supporting the values they hold dear. They don't want to give the vote of their dollar to a firm like BlackRock, who is using it to advocate for things completely in opposition to everything you deer. So it just makes sense. And so as the word gets out and people are waking up, I'm just so thrilled to see the results we're having like we've been talking about with Walmart and Krober, just keeping the abortion pill out of their pharmacies. It's huge. Look, these are monster wins. Monster wins. I can't even believe it when you're telling me this. I'm thinking, wow, is this possible to influence a gigantic,
Starting point is 00:27:13 a BMF like Walmart to do the right thing not to carry this evil abortion pill? It's a It's unbelievable, folks. And this is the free market. You know what? If you have an abortion or you want to go to whatever, you can do that. But we're in a free country. And Walmart can choose to do the right thing. And so we have to support those who are doing what we believe in. And so this is something. It's why I talk about this action point. Folks, I don't know why you wouldn't do this. Go to inspireadvisors.com slash Eric. Please be a part. of what God is doing. This is just magnificent. Again, I can't believe sometimes that I'm alive at a time where we can do this. Instead of complaining and thinking, oh, oh, everything's so terrible, well, here's something we can each do and we can tell people about it. Tell everybody you know about this. This is amazing. This is God's money, which can be used for God's purposes. And, you know, maybe until now you didn't know. Well, now you know. So do what you can. The website, inspireadvisors.com slash Eric will lead you to, you can see what to do there.
Starting point is 00:28:29 But I just cannot get over, Robert, that, you know, you guys are not just investing people's money in good places and taking it away from bad places, but you are advocating with these companies. We've talked about this before, with smuckers, with all these companies, all these companies may be doing bad things, but then people come to. them and say, hey, listen, you know, the people who buy your products, the people who shop there, the people who invest in you, they don't like this. You need to think about doing the right thing. And some of them do. You just mentioned that Kroger and Walmart have both made the right
Starting point is 00:29:07 decision not to carry this horrible abortion pill. This is major. You mentioned a couple of other companies that have not yet chosen to do the right thing. I think you mentioned Walgreens. All greens is, they're off the ledge, right? They start to sell them Preston the day, you know, within the shortest amount of time possible they could after the announcement was made. And so the other companies that we are working on to keep them from that decision is Costco, Albert Sins and McKesson. So those are the three others that we're still working on. And so far, none of them have actually gone ahead with filing from the exemption or selling the Stone. I do believe that is in large part because of our advocacy. They're being a little more
Starting point is 00:29:55 coy. They're under a lot of pressure. Frankly, Costco, for example, they're in Seattle, right? They're headcores in Seattle. I do believe a lot of the leadership in Costco is very much, let's just kind of stay out of the issues. Like there's no one second, Robert. I want to, we've got to go to a break. I want to continue this conversation. Very important, folks. Welcome back, folks. I'm talking about something that is very important that I care about very, very deeply, and I hope you do as well. It is where your money is being invested. I'm talking to Robert Netzley. He's the CEO and founder of Inspire Advisors. And we are talking about stuff that, again, Robert, thanks for coming on here. Thanks for what you do. You're just an anointed leader in this.
Starting point is 00:30:50 God is using you to change the nation, to change the culture by persuading huge companies not to do evil things. You have persuaded, Walmart and Kroger, for example, not to carry the abortion pill. That is huge. And there's so many people who want their money to be used for God's purposes, not to be used for wicked purposes. So you were just going through, you mentioned Walgreens. They've been bad guys here.
Starting point is 00:31:18 They have said, we can make a lot of money off the abortion pill. We're totally going to carry it. So ladies and gentlemen, these are moral issues. Where you go, you know, to buy stuff, where you invest, you have to think. Do you want to go to Walgreens? They have made some evil, cynical decisions. You should at least know what is going on. Who are the good guys?
Starting point is 00:31:40 Who's doing the right thing and who's not? And you mentioned, Robert, just as we went to the break, Costco, you're trying to persuade them. They have not yet chosen to do the right thing here. You mentioned a few others. And you said that some of these companies are based in the Seattle area. which is, of course, extremely liberal. And so there's pressure on them not to do the right thing. Yeah, Costco in particular, right?
Starting point is 00:32:10 Their headquarters are over than Seattle area. So you can imagine what all that entails with the people who work there and they're sort of a labor pool. But I do believe that there's desire at Costco to sort of stay out of the issue. Historically, they've been pretty neutral and just stick into their knitting, right? Let's provide low costs. goods, you know, in large quantities to people all over the country. And they've got a raving fan fan base, you know. And it's, there's, there's not really a good reason for a company like
Starting point is 00:32:42 Costco to start selling the abortion drug. They're not going to make any money on it. It's outside their, you know, core business of kind of the large bulk item at discount. It doesn't make any sense, right? So it would really be an ideological choice for them to decide to dispense this drug, to apply for a special exemption from the federal government for them to actually dispense this in a pharmacy. It's a very, it'd be a strange thing for them to do. But there's a lot of pressure on them to do that. And I've got to be honest, the abortion mafia is a big, powerful, angry, dangerous mob. And companies can be intimidated. And so what we're trying to do is give them the confidence, the moral fortitude to say, hey, look, there's
Starting point is 00:33:29 not just one voice. Yes, these people are very animated and very upset over here, but there's a very large contingent, probably the overwhelming majority of your members at Costco who are the proverbial soccer mom in Minnesota,
Starting point is 00:33:46 you know, out in the interlands or in the Midwest, who, you know, they just want to go by you know, cheap granola bars for our kids. They don't want myth of pristone and abortion drugs. You know, they don't want to be involved in those things. We actually have a petition of over 9,000, probably close to 10,000 signatures now. Costco members who are saying that they would cancel their Costco membership if Costco decided to go ahead of this decision. So that's a lot of members.
Starting point is 00:34:14 There's probably for everyone on our petition. There's probably many more that are out there that would follow suit that haven't seen our petition. So good on Costco for not going there yet, but we need some assurances from them. And listeners here, you can help by. again, just joining the movement, right? Come on over to Inspired advisors, help us to help you to speak biblical truth to corporate power like Costco and keep the abortion drug out of their pharmacies as well. Well, again, this is big stuff. I just have to say that for you to put this kind of pressure, it's really central to how America is supposed to work. We have freedom, but we have to exercise
Starting point is 00:34:56 our freedoms. And sometimes we have to advocate against evil. We have to do something. And so I just am so thrilled, Robert, that God has put it on your heart to serve in this way and to help people invest their money in places that are serving God's purposes. And also that you are using leverage to go to these companies, as you've been describing. to have Costco understand, it's like you want to wait into these waters, you want to carry this pill that kills children in the womb, all right, if you want to do that, there's going to be a price. There are millions of Christians who, if they are given a choice between shopping in a place that doesn't care about the unborn and is willing to take this dark step, that they will
Starting point is 00:35:56 go someplace else. And this is very real, folks. This is not about, you know, people say, I don't believe in boycotts. Well, I don't know what that even means. You believe in giving your money to people to encourage them to do evil things. I hope you don't. And this is just a beautiful opportunity that we have to exercise our freedom and to let people know. And so the fact that you're doing this, Robert, you know, with many, but also with Costco, it's very important that that folks understand there's a price to pay that if I want to, you know, bow the knee to my woke employees in Seattle who are saying, I have to do this. Okay, you could do that, but there's going to be a price.
Starting point is 00:36:37 There are people across America that are going to say, you know what, I am no longer going to shop at Costco because this breaks my heart that they would do this. And I cannot support them in that. So this is just, it's very, very important that people understand that we have a voice that God has given us power, and he expects us to steward the power that he's given us, the money that he's given us. And so the action point before we close, again, please go to inspireadvisors.com slash Eric.
Starting point is 00:37:09 This is something you can do. You can tell your friends. This is a movement. The more of us that do this, the more we take God's money away from people that are using it for evil ends. So that's the action point. I just want to leave you folks with that. InspireAdvisors.com slash Eric, tell your friends, we've got to do this. If more and more people do this, we will change the country. We are changing the country. We just heard the great news that Walmart and Kroger will not carry this abortion pill. This is just praise the Lord. Hallelujah.
Starting point is 00:37:47 But we just want everybody to be involved. So go to Inspire Advisors. dot com slash Eric. Please tell your friends, inspired advisors.com slash Eric. And Robert Netsley, God bless you for what you do. Thanks for coming on. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:38:02 God bless you, Eric. Folks, welcome back. Exciting news. We get to participate in the modern day abolitionist movement. Because of this program, we have a relationship
Starting point is 00:38:35 with Christian Solidarity International. They are in the business of literally freeing slaves. This is not metaphorical. This is not made up. This is not something that's sort of. This is real. We do this every year.
Starting point is 00:38:49 You have an opportunity to join us in this. The website is metaxis talk.com. At the top of the page, you'll see the banner. But I have Todd Chapman on, who's with CSI. And Todd, you know the actual stories. So put some meat on the bones. Help us understand because it seems sometimes so theoretical and impossible to fathom that this is real.
Starting point is 00:39:12 Yeah. Yeah. We conduct several what we call slave liberations every year. We try to do three or four a year. And we have just get a little bit about the process, and then I'll share a couple stories that I literally just got earlier this week. But we have slave retrievers that are always moving around to North Sudan, identifying slaves, and then negotiating their freedom with their masters.
Starting point is 00:39:34 And so four times a year, we gather them all in a large group and literally march them. We walk them in mass down into South Sudan, where there's a big celebration. Huge party goes on when these captives are set free. We set them up with a bag of hope and the she goats and everything they need to start a new life. It's a beautiful picture of God's redemptive grace. But it's interesting, Eric, because we've talked about this before. Again, most of these women that have been held captive were taken captive when they were very young, two, three, four years of age.
Starting point is 00:40:05 And they've been held ever since. And so now they're adults. And I'm looking at two stories that I just got. These are two beautiful women just liberated. One's name is Alec. One's name is Alec. But the thing that's interesting about these two stories, and I saw this amongst this latest liberation, more stories of women who were actually born in slavery in North Sudan. And now we've set them free.
Starting point is 00:40:31 And interestingly enough, you probably can't see this if I hold it up, but I've got photos of them. Both Alec and Alec, they are holding children of their own. And this really, this will bring tears to my eyes because it's so important, friend, that you understand that this is multi-generational bondage, slavery, that we are stopping, that you are stopping when you give a gift. It was already significant and beautiful that $250 freed one of these captive women, but now that they've had children there, and we've been now, over the last year or so, been able to negotiate oftentimes freedom for some of their kids as well. And so that's a beautiful thing. So when you give that $250 gifts, you know, you may well be liberating one of these women and their children. But Alec and Alex story very similar. They were actually born into slavery.
Starting point is 00:41:21 Parents have been captured from South Sudan, worked without pay. They were beaten. They were abused. They were basically sold to different masters. Every one of them, both of these ladies were raped multiple times. The children that they have are from their slave masters. and both of these ladies actually have more than one child. They were only able to bring one child into freedom with them.
Starting point is 00:41:42 Think about the heartbreak of that, right? You want all your kids to be free, but you take what you can get. And so it's just beautiful. And I read these stories, Eric, and it just motivates me even more to advocate on behalf of our brothers and sisters and these kids that have had no voice. They've been forgotten. But thanks to your show and your listeners, we've been able to bring this in front of so many people And literally thousands and thousands of slaves have been set free because you said, wow, that shouldn't be happening not today, not anytime, and you've given. So thank you for that.
Starting point is 00:42:15 Thank you for setting these women free. And now their children as well. It's just incredible. I want to mention, again, the website metaxistocot.com. That's my radio website, metaxis talk.com. At the top of the page, there's a banner. If you click on the banner, it gives you all kinds of options and information. metaxistalk.com, metaxistalksotoc.com.
