Roger, there's so much going on in the news. I don't know where to begin. You've written a number of pieces. What would you like to comment on first? Well, I guess since this is the word of the most, of the most. moment, why don't we talk about democracy and how it works? We've just been treated to, I think I'm correct in saying, an unprecedented perversion of democracy with the elimination, the defenestration, the mafia like will make you an offer you can't refuse, obliteration of Joe Biden,

the person that some 14-something million people voted for in the primary to be president, but he was shoved out by the deep state factota of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and probably the other day. No one on this program were in public life has ever used the correct plural of factotia. them. I want to say, go to the head of the class, Roger Kimball. Thank you very much. What you're saying, of course, is true. And I guess we're supposed to just go along with it because Well, because we have to, because they control the media. And then the coronation of Kamala Harris, who, I mean, remember these two odd things. A few weeks ago, Joe Biden was hailed as being sharp as an attack. Sharper than ever. Sharper than ever. In close,

sessions, he was, you know, asked penetrating questions at an encyclopedic grasp of the issues. He was, I mean, people like that guy, Joe Scarborough was going on. And I mean, it's, it's, it's, penetrating, penetrating questions. Like, are you my mommy? Yes, yes, yes. And I have a popsicle? What's the flavor of ice cream today? So, you know, the media conspired to keep this guy afloat until he had this debate.

I'm quite convinced that they scheduled the debate so early in order to give him a last test. And when he failed the test disastrously by that incredibly poor performance, they said, okay, we've got to get rid of him. That was very odd. Now, you and I happen to be together when the news came over the wire that Joe Biden had was drawn from the race. And we commented that how odd it was, the way in which it was done. It was not done on the POTUS feed. It was done on his personal feed.

And it had a lot of other weird anomalies. And it was notable, I think, that he did not endorse Kamala Harris at that point. It was only later that he must have been prevailed upon to do so. But that's a very odd thing that the president, of the United States who all along, even after the debate, said, I'm in it to win, I'm staying in. Yes, I might have had a bad night, but everybody has bad debates, as Barack Obama tweeted, everybody has off nights. Anybody can have a bad 50 years in public office. Yes, I know. It happens to all of us.

So that's, it's very odd. It's very odd. So he went overnight from being sharp as attacked, the leader of the free world, to being a poor sod who's in a state of advanced mental decline, but who has heroically given up the reins, not given up the reins of power, because he's still president, of course, which is something else to think about, but given up his pursuit of the office again.

And then consider this. A month ago, Kamala Harris, most people regarded her the way that I did as a kind of political life insurance policy for Joe Biden, because although he's bad, how much worse would it be to have Kamala Harris as president? The woman, you know, just listening to her speak, she's a walking,

a walking advertisement for the fact that you don't have to be senile to be rhetorically incoherent. I mean, it's, it's her, her, she is, and her great virtue as a speaker is that she is the master of the word salad. She can utter a string of vocables that mean nothing. So how did she go from being one of the most disliked people in American public life to being this great savior who's, I mean, even I find it a little hard to believe that they actually picked the Nazi slogan to organize their campaign?

around, you know, strength through joy. And so, I mean, it's really quite, so what we got now is, it was lots of joy, but insofar as they've articulated any policies, they're horrifyingly socialistic. So, for example, they want to raise the tax and capital gains from 20% to 44.6%. My own feeling is that any tax on capital gains is immoral because you, already paid tax on the money, then you choose to risk it to help invest in the American economy. Why should you be penalized if you happen to be successful? They want to raise the corporate tax from 21% to 28%. I'm sure our rivals around the world will be thrilled by that, but it's a tax

on American business. They want to introduce a tax on unrealized gains. So you bought a house someplace, and, you know, it's appreciated in value. Or you bought Apple stock 20 years ago, and that's appreciated it. You haven't sold it, but they want to tax you on the nominal value of these assets. I had not heard that one. That is ingenious and very sick. It was ingenious and horrible. 25% error.

25%. Just think about that. So you bought a stock for $100 dollars worth $200. Well, they want 20. And it's a little unclear to me whether they're going to do this every year. But what if the stock went down? What if it's, so right now it's $200. Let's say in a month it goes down to $75,

but you still have to pay the, you know, I'm sure the answer is about it, yes. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. How about the, you know, the idea that she's now twigged to the importance of border securities we did because she's talking about, you know, a tiny little piece of the border, whereas she's brought in on her watch. And she's talking about what she's going to do.

She's in office now. She's, you know, she's the person running the country, you know, at the behest of the cathedral behind her, which is Barack Obama and, you know, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and the deep state in general. So, you know, we can blame her for what, for what's going on right now because she's been there. She's cast the deciding vote on many, many issues as, you know, the vice president when the vote. was tied. She was 100% behind the disastrous Afghan withdrawal, where we left

80 billion dollars of material on the ground. 87 billion, but who's counting? Yeah, who's counting? I mean, that's good enough for government work, right? You know, I mean, so we overnight transformed the Taliban into

the best armed terrorist group in the world. And then by the way, those 13 Marines who were slaughtered by the Taliban. What did they do about that? Nothing. Nothing. I mean, she would... Roger, I just have to say, honestly,

to some extent, all of this is moot. If we had real journalists and a real media in this country simply reporting the facts, even with a leftward skew reporting this stuff, then everyone in America would know

these things. Everyone in America doesn't know these things. Absolutely. Because Because people hate Donald Trump so much that they're willing to lie and hide the truth. That has never happened in an American public life where you have the entire fourth of state gone. They're not doing their job. If they were doing their job, we wouldn't have to talk about these things on the program because everyone would already know them. You're absolutely right about that. I think it's very interesting.

You know, I don't know very much about RFK, Jude, or I understand that he's a complicated figure, has had a, how shall I put? sort of a Tabasco history in his personal life. Roger, you just said you used the word Tabasco in a way I've not heard it used before. Can you remind us of what you mean? Well, it's that red spicy sauce that you

that you sprinkle over some boring food stuff to enliven it. And I said that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. seems to have led a colorful and very spicy life until recent years. I guess. Yeah. But I think, you know, his decision to drop out of the 10, to suspend his campaign in 10, you know, battleground states and to endorse Donald Trump and to campaign with him, you know, I thought that Donald Trump was going to win anyway. But he, he, it's, the task is not simply to win.

He has to win beyond what I used to call the margin of fraud, but I'm, I'm going to retire that locution. in favor of Donald Trump's own location, which is that he has to win in a landslide that is too big to rig. That's what has to happen. And I think that Kennedy's support and, you know, withdrawing from these 10 battleground states might very well ensure that, might very well guarantee that the victory would be of a sufficient margin, that even the deep state cannot overturn it. I hope and pray that it's true,

because believe me, if Kamala Harris and Tim Walts that fruit cake, if they're the next, if they win, it's over for this country. There will still be a place called the United States, but it will be over. It will be a hollowed out. shell, a husk, not unlike Joe Biden.

Honestly, this is the issue, folks. This is the issue. I've said this many times. I say to the beginning of my new book, Religinalist Christianity, we are in the third existential crisis of our history, the revolution, the civil war, and where we are now. No one remembers the Civil War or the revolution. But let me remind you, it was all or nothing. If George Washington had been defeated, no United States of America.

If the Union had not held, no United States of America along the lines of what we have enjoyed ever since. We are there now. Many people don't know that. Many people are still focused on other issues as though they are ultimate issues, the pro-life issue. Hugely important. But folks, we're talking about an existential battle right now. this is it. And if Kamala Harris and Tim Walts get in there, you'll never be able to talk about the unborn made of the image of God. You won't be able to talk about it. They will crush any

opposition to what they think, which is, I just as to say, forgive me, what Kamala Harris did in California, when she had the power, when the information came out, folks, the true information, this is real, that Planned Parenthood was making money selling the parts of aborted children. When that video came out, she did everything in her power to squash the video and to imprison the man who had made the video, our friend David Delighton. That's who we're dealing with. And you are guilty, folks, if you do not understand what is at stake.

If you look the other way in this election, if you get distracted, that is what's at stake. I just had to say that. No, you're absolutely right. And, you know, Tim Walts has said himself that, you know, know, he's against what he calls free speech weirdos. He doesn't, and absolutus, this is terrible, that at the end of the day, remember, this is part of that coalition that has invented a whole new category of heresy. We know what disinformation is, but they have created, they have now criminalized not only dissent, but what they call mal-information. What is mal information?

That is things that you might say, which could be true, but they don't like it. They counter the narrative that they want to shove down our throats. It's as if they're using Orwell's 1984, not as a warning against the dangers of socialism and tyranny, but as a how-to manual. How is it that we can silence our opponents? How is it that we can make sure that we stay in power in our narrative triumphs? It's a frightening moment, and I think you're absolutely right to say that it is an existential choice that we face on a par with the creation of the nation and the Civil War. We are now at a turning point, at a threshold, and if we do not respond now, we will lose the country.

Ladies and gentlemen, you heard that. Do you know that? Do your friends know that? Do they seem to think that, oh, I'm going to withhold my vote because Trump's rhetoric wasn't pro-life enough for me? Well, guess what? It wasn't close to pro-life enough for Eric Metaxis. I can guarantee you that. But let me tell you something else. You will not get to talk about the sanctity of unborn life. if Kamala Harris and Tim Walts are elected, you will not be able to have that conversation. You will be shut down. You will be intimidated. You will be bullied. You will be imprisoned. The point is, they don't like your pro-life views, and they will do everything in their power to crush you. This happened in Germany in the 30s. I've said this over and over. I'll keep saying it. The Nazis talked a good game. They didn't say, be careful, church. We're going to come. after you, they said, no, no, no, we're your friend. There's so many wonderful Christians in Germany who support the furor. We will never do anything to the church. They say all that

until they get the power to crush the church. Until that moment, they keep their mouth shut. The moment they get that power, they came after the church in a way, ladies and gentlemen, if you haven't read my Bonhofer book, this would be a great year to see exactly what happened and how the church failed utterly and evil was unleashed in the world. That's where we are right now. And Roger, you know, my real concern is that there's so many Americans that have drunk the Kool-Aid over the years that they don't even know what democracy is. They don't know what a republic is.

They don't really understand. They don't understand these things. They don't understand that the media have been lying to us. And so they are sleepwalking. They're sleepwalking along. That's right. You're absolutely right. It's an existential moment, and I hope that you will repeat your typology that compares this moment to the American Revolution and the Civil War.

I certainly intend to repeat it myself. I've been saying it over and over. As I say, I lead my book with it, the new book, Religinalist Christianity, because it's very clear to me that that's precisely where we are. In other words, this is it. there are plenty of people who don't think this is it. Jugheads like Mike Pence or George W. Bush, who will not stick their necks out and say, listen, I've got my issues with President Trump.

There's a lot I hate about him. But it's game over for the United States of America. And as a patriot, I'm going to get behind Donald Trump. Please, folks, vote for Donald Trump. They haven't done that. And it's disgusting for me. Quite the contrary. People that I loved, like George W. Bush, Mike Pence and others.

are so petulant and really obviously do not care about this country the way we thought they did. Otherwise, they would be at the forefront of standing against Kamala Harris and the nightmare of a Harris presidency. You're right. You're 100% right. No, it's, I agree with you. And I'm appalled at the behavior of people like Mike Pence. It's just been, it's, it's, it's, well, it's humiliating to folks like us because we, we believed in these people. And it's horrifying to see folks like this reveal who they are. Now, speaking of which, you mentioned RFK Jr. What a staggering thing. What a staggering thing.

I have to say, for him not just to be open to that, but to be openly endorsing Donald Trump is astonishing. Do you want to talk about integrity? Folks, you know, I was just talking to Roger Kimball. And while I was talking to Roger Kimball, I thought of my old. friend, Votesradamus. And I thought, what if we could get Bostradamus on the program? And here he is. Kevin McCullough, welcome back. Hey, Eric, how are you? I'm good. I was just talking current events with Naomi Wolf and then Roger Kimball and you are Mr. Current Events. What's going on? I think maybe we want to talk about why all of these common sense former Democrats are flocking to Donald Trump. How about that? Well, you know, you would have thought,

coming out of the convention last week, and I kind of did, you know, in my kind of personal, you know, hedging my bets and kind of prognosticating. I was thinking Kamala was going to be at kind of a peak the day following her convention, because that traditionally happens. When John McCain was trailing really badly against Barack Obama, he put Sarah Palin on the ticket, and the next day, after their convention was done, he took a really brief lead in the race. That happens a lot following the last convention. So I kind of thought, okay, Democrats are going to come out. She's going to give her speech. This is going to be the high point. Boom. Immediately on the day following the close of that convention, which seems like a hundred

years ago now, Trump and RFK Jr. totally suck the oxygen out of the news universe. And everybody seems to be like mystified at all this. It's not a mystery. A Kennedy endorsing Trump of any, of any variety, any Kennedy endorsing Trump is really quite astounding. And so everybody, that, was kind of the talking point through the weekend. RFK did all the media. People are now understanding why he came to Trump's side. But I wanted to point out in my column on Sunday that it's not just him. And in his statement that he gave in his endorsement, full-throated endorsement of Donald

Trump on Friday, he listed a number of things that the modern Democratic Party have proven themselves untrustworthy on. And it was astounding that in less than 24 hours, Cornell West, Jill Stein, and Mr. Phillips that had run against Biden in the primary, and Mary Ann Williamson. So basically, the other two Democrat candidates that ran against Biden in the primary and two Democrat, three Democrats that had basically been kicked out of the Democratic primary, all come to the same conclusion. Now, they're not all endorsing Trump. But those other four all said, Kennedy is right. the Democrats have rigged the election of this primary cycle in Biden's favor and then don't even begin to get them started on how Kamala Harris became the nominee.

And I wanted to point out that it's not Donald Trump who, you know, had to leave the White House after the last election cycle that's saying all of this. This is the current people that ran against the current party that is the Democratic Party. In other words, you sheep Democrat that are still out there thinking that your party is in some way the great party of the 1940s or 50s. They're not. They're cheating. They're slime buckets. They're the nasty people in the political arena right now. And they're not just doing it against the independents and conservatives and Republicans that are opposing them.

They're doing it against their own people. Why do I care? Well, because right now this race is in the midst of really deciding what's going to happen to the future. And there are a lot of Democrats that feel disaffected by the Kamala Harris candidacy. And what I want to tell everybody that's listening to you and listens to me and anybody else is, if you feel disaffected, so did RFK, so did Jill Stein, so did Cornell West. And they're speaking out against the corruption that that party is in place with. So if you want something different this time, you have to stop sending the same people back to Washington, D.C.

If you want something different to happen now, you have to plan to vote. And it may not be a vote you were planning on casting. But we are ready to welcome you to the Party of Common Sense, to the Party of Putting America First, and the idea that you can actually have a moral right and wrong in the universe. The current Democratic Party does not embrace you. If you're a Common Sense Democrat, you're not welcome there. And that's the decision that RFK came to the conclusion of and ultimately why he said he has to support Donald Trump this time. I have to say it is so brave of RFK Jr. to have done what he did because look, he's married to Cheryl Hines.

You know, she's the star of curb your enthusiasm. They are in that ultra-liberal Hollywood world. The heat that he has been taking from his own family, too. What he did, well, his family, you know, these are these are unpleasant hacks in his family. But I'm just saying it is interesting to me that you're seeing people, Tulsi Gabbard, obviously an example, Elon Musk, people waking up, finally waking up. And I keep saying it's Romans 828. All things work together for good for those that love the Lord and are called according to his purposes. all these horrible things have had the result because they've been so horrible of waking some

people up who were not awake. Let's be honest. You know, four years ago, Elon Musk was not in for Donald Trump. Eight years ago, Elon Musk was not in for Donald Trump. RFK Jr. was not in for Donald Trump. Tulsi Gabbard was not in for Donald Trump. And on and on and on. Things had to get this bad for this.

them to wake up. So this is great news. Yeah. No, I think it is, and I think it's a real positive sign that our country is not far gone as I was maybe afraid that they were, because the worst thing that could happen is that all of these people fall in line. They rally their masses to get Kamala Harris over the finish line and to say that this is the best that America can do for the next four years. There are people legit, scared out of their mind that that woman would ever be put in charge of a lemonade stand, much less the arsenal of the free world. And when you look at, and I talk about this on my radio show today, when you look at the fact that Israel, you know, they got one hostage, one more hostage home today safe.

And he's in the hospital and he's recovering well. But I asked the question to my radio audience, where have Biden and Harris been for the five hostages that are still Americans that are still being held? Since that time, you've had Reagan, Bush, Clinton for two terms, Bush for two terms, Obama for two terms, Trump for a term, and Biden for a

term. Everybody on that list since Carter would have gone after and gotten our hostages except for Biden. Obama, maybe not either. But those two max. But Clinton would have. And here's why. It's been part of the presidential responsibility to go rescue Americans when they are in trouble. And Netanyahu, busy Prime Minister of Israel, make a personal statement about the hostages' safe return home today. And he said, we're not going to stop until every Israeli is home safe. Where is Joe Biden? Where is Kamala Harris saying the same thing? Donald Trump has said that when he's elected, on November 6th, not on January 21st of the next year, but on November 6th, he's picking up a phone and he's calling Hamas and Hezbollah and Iran.

He's going to tell him you turn our hostages loose or you're going to wish you had. He's going to pick up another phone and call Zelensky and Putin and say, if you don't end this, we are going to put all kinds of creative leverage against you that you're never going to survive from. End this nonsense now. But that's what American leadership does when it actually plays the role it's supposed to play in the world. Our colleague, Dennis Prager, says this all the time. Do we want America to be liked in the world or to be feared? It is much better for people in the world to fear that America will not be happy with them if they do not comport themselves well.

Why? Because it causes other countries to have good behavior. When you say, oh, please like us, and we'll build this bridge out into the Mediterranean that crashes two weeks later, and we're going to give you all of this aid money, and we're just going to do all of this stuff. Just be nice to us. They laugh at us. What we are suffering from on the national stage is not just a presidential administration that disagrees with me on a few issues. We are suffering from an administration that has made us the laughing stock of the universe and has shown zero backbone in being able to stand up for what America needs. And if they can't stand up to our enemies to do that, imagine how corrupt and rotten they are on domestic policy, which you see from the open border, which you see from the crime spread.

like cancers in our city, which you see from the inflation that they seem to have zero understanding of how to correct. These are all things that a presidential position requires one to say, I have a responsibility here to take action. And this group has not. And Kamala Harris is now running a campaign promising nothing. She's not saying she's going to do a thing. She wants a better future and she wants to have joy and a happy, optimistic outlook on

what's to come. Well, why should any American voter have any optimistic outlook if she's left in charge? She's left us with the biggest disaster we've ever seen. But if you don't know anything about anything and you vote, that's about as deep as... Which is why this conversation has to happen, not just with you and me, but at our dinner tables tonight. That's why we have to engage our common sense Democrat friends and say, are you really disillusioned with what you've been sold for all these years? Not preaching and throwing things at them. We don't know.

come here, let's have a chat about it. Let's talk about actual facts. Let's see what the policy differences are and come to a conclusion that really is kind of separate from Kamala Harris's personality or Donald Trump's personality. I don't care what their personalities are. I want to know when they're on the job, are they doing the job that we hired them for? And if they're not, then we need to get rid of them and find people who will. Well, again, things have gotten so bad that simply wanting common.

sense, reality-based solutions, you got to vote for Trump. I mean, that's what's so amazing to me is there are people waking up and thinking, okay, I can have crazy, corrupt, lying, ineptitude over here, or I could have the other thing over here. Well, the other thing is starting to look real good. We're at a point where, you know, it's amazing to me. Elon Musk's interview with Trump, that was so amazing to me because I thought, Imagine, this is before RFK Jr. gets involved. Right. Imagine if you could have the person of Elon Musk set free to kind of come up with, you know, use his genius to help the United States of America.

Just as we had Donald Trump using his genius to help the United States of America. What could happen? We've never had that before. We've had political hacks in there from both parties. What would it look like? It would be amazing. creative solutions like we've not seen. That to me is what's so exciting about RFK Jr.

Is that he thinks out of the box. He is willing to talk about the stuff that nobody's willing to talk about, that our kids are being poisoned. We have a health crisis. Why wouldn't leadership be all over that? And the fact that Trump has the willingness to unleash RFK Jr. On the deep state, on the three-letter agencies, it could be a new day in America,

Thank you. Folks, welcome back. We're talking to our friend, Kevin McCullough. Some of you know him as Votes Tridamas. So in the role of Votes Tredamas, who knows the future, you realize the same thing is probably going to happen in this election as happened in 2020. In other words, if things were to go normally, Trump would win. But things are not going to go normally. People are going to do anything and everything.

They're going to steal. We don't know what they're going to do. But I have seen enough to know that there is no way that we can have a fair election, that we can have a. normal election that we're in a war here? Well, two things on that. There have been some strategic corrections to procedures that allowed 2020 to take place. So you're not going to have the Zuckerberg boxes every 200 feet in the inner city and every 200 miles in the country. You're not going to have some states even allowed to use them at all.

You're going to have a much tighter process from kind of stem to stern. in states like Georgia, Nevada, some of the states that have, well, for instance, in Nevada in 2020, they had a zero signature standard match. Normally, they require about an 85 to 90 percent match on the signature. This was a zero standard. So you could literally put an X where the signature went, and it was going to count as a legit signature. You get actual signature match. The number of ballots to get thrown out that are not usable, you know, legally, that's going to change. And so in some of those places, you've got some of the on-the-ground math that has changed from laws that have been tightened and so forth. I am much more encouraged by Laura Trump's effort to enlist now upwards

of 10,000 attorneys nationwide and 100,000 additional, not just current, but additional people to park in the polls that are going to do nothing but watch every single. voter that comes in and make sure that they're not bringing in buckets of ballots or anything like that. They tried, they did that in 2020. They tried it in 2021 with Glenn Yonkin. They had an attorney. They took him to court. They shut it down. And he won that election. Bush did the same thing in the second term of the Bush administration where after the hanging chads, they didn't take any chances. And they had attorneys parked in every, you know, swing district that they needed them in. This is this effort by Laura Trump and the RN

is going to kind of dwarf those previous efforts. And so from eyes on the ground, a readiness to act, and the Trumps didn't understand in 2020 that you can't really contest things after the fact. A lot of those laws were changed going into the cycle. They should have been challenged before the election was held. A lot of Republicans and a lot of state legislatures let us down on those things and allowed those laws to pass foolishly. Now you're going to be able to challenge election night.

And so I don't really have a clear feeling of exactly how it's going to go, but I think we're going to get a much stronger election in terms of integrity. And I think that you're going to have a massive turnout for Trump that's going to dwarf what happened in 2020. Remember, he became the first sitting president in the modern era to get more votes in his second term than he got in his first term. About 14 million more in his second term. Obama got fewer, Bush got fewer, Clinton got fewer. Ronald Reagan got fewer. Trump actually got more. And in this process, added about 14 million votes to the, you know, the presidential side.

Now, Biden supposedly outdid him and supposedly had 81 million. And I don't know because I. What do you mean you don't know? No, I don't know where those 81 million people lived. I don't, I, you know, you have zero standard signature match. You could be, you could just be printing them and turning them in. You don't even, I mean, there's. So who knows what he?

his actual number was. I have a theory that Biden's actual turnout was probably somewhere in the mid-60 million, and Trump was $75, $78 million. And that was probably Trump's votes were accurate. We know that voted for Trump, really, really did vote for Trump. I don't buy Biden's number at much. But I'm sorry we're at a time. He's going to get more this time. Bottom line.
