Folks, welcome to the Eric Mataxis show, sponsored by Legacy Precious Metals.

Welcome to the Eric Mataxis show. It's a nutritious smoothie of creamy, fresh yogurt,
vanilla, protein powder, and a mushy banana. For your mind? Drink it all down. It's nummy.
I wab, vanilla.
Here comes Eric Metaxus.
Hey, folks. Welcome to the program.
Chris Himes, listen.
I just want to say some people do not watch videos of this.
Yeah, that's true.
So those people who are listening now via radio or podcast cannot see that I have a Trump spray on tan.
They can't see that.
And I'm glad they can't see that.
Yeah, I believe it's, I don't know, Cheeto Orange.
is the color. They also can't see
that I'm wearing so much hair product because
when my hair gets a little too long,
I have to like glue it down.
Yeah. Because this morning
I had a little crisis.
I call up my barber,
Angelo Spiota.
Yeah. Angelo Spiotas Salon.
If you come to New York and you want the greatest
haircut ever, you go to Angelo at
Spiota Salon. It's on 38th Street.
S-P-I-O-T-A, right?
This morning I called up to kind of find
Hey, I'm leaving for Europe in a couple weeks, whatever.
When is Angela?
Angelos in Europe.
What?
And I don't know if I'm going to be able to get a haircut.
This is a real problem for me.
I've been going to him for 26 years.
Yeah.
And now as you've gotten older, your hair's gotten more unwieldy.
It gets more and more difficult to cut.
Yeah.
All right.
It's like a wild stallion.
Let's move on here.
We have some important things to share.
I'm sorry.
I apologize, folks.
but this is a Trump spray on tan.
Did you think about it?
You could meet up in Europe.
He could get your hair over there.
Maybe there's a, you know, coordinate that.
Hey.
No, he's in Italy, and I'm going to England and Greece.
So anyway, okay, look, today on the program, in a couple of minutes,
we have the man who made the Flynn documentary.
We had General Flynn on last week.
We will have him on in the weeks ahead for sure.
but today we're talking to Scott Weiper, the guy who made the film, who produced the film about General Flynn.
So this is going to be very exciting.
In Hour 2, we have George Corneal.
He wrote a book with a weird title, but it's interesting.
It's from queer to Christ.
It sounds like something we'd make up, except his story is real.
And any time I can talk to somebody who has come out of the gay lifestyle, and it is just amazing.
So we talked to him yesterday, and I actually think parts of the conversation were very important, so that's an hour two today.
I should mention before I get into some interesting stuff that I want to share with the group, I should remind folks if you are interested in homeschooling your kids or if you're interested in pulling your kids out of public school and find.
finding a genuine Christ-centered K-12 education for your kids.
The one place we are now recommending is Herzog Foundation.com.
We've gotten to know these folks, and they are all over this.
It is spectacular.
When people ask me what's happening in America, why I have hope, this would be one of the examples.
The fact that somebody has funded the Herzog Foundation so that they can
help Americans figure out how to homeschool their kids easily and get their – this is big stuff, folks.
And people say, what can I do? This is what you can do is you can get involved in homeschooling your kids or any of this stuff.
Go to Herzog Foundation.com. I didn't want to forget to mention that.
Okay, so now we should mention that next week, next Tuesday, the 25th of June.
Your birthday is next week, too.
My birthday is the 27th of June.
but don't mention it on the air.
Okay.
You can mention anything you want to mention,
but don't mention that June 27th is my birthday,
because I just, I don't want it to get out.
So don't mention it on the air.
Privately, we can talk about it.
Like, we can talk about it here,
but I want to say that on the 25th,
I am interviewing at Socrates in the city, R.FK. Jr.
Wow.
And how famous do you have to be so that you can just use your initials?
Like, I'm not E.J.M. the first.
I'm just Eric Metaxis.
but he's RFK Jr.
And RFK Jr., as we know, is running for president of the United States.
I'm not going to vote for him, but I like him in many ways.
I disagree with him on the issue of abortion and some other things.
But I'm going to interview him at Socrates in the city here in New York on the 25th of June.
That's next Tuesday.
Friends of mine, this morning a friend of mine, Bruce, who's been on the show, he says,
hey, I'm thinking of coming.
And I'm like, well, you better get your.
ticket because it's going to sell out. There aren't many left. Yesterday I was on Newsmax in the
middle of the day and on Newsmax. I'm talking to their audience about this thing. So like a
bunch of tickets sold yesterday. So we're getting close. If you're interested in being there,
buy your ticket. Go to Socrates in the city.com. And I guess I should say that there are two
tickets, they're VIP tickets where you get to meet him and hang out with him beforehand. And then
there's regular tickets.
There will not be like a dinner or anything afterward.
Well, there's a special dinner.
There might be.
Actually, yeah, there's some special dinner.
But I don't know how do people find that?
I think if they're sign up for the newsletter, or the Socrates Newsletter, they'll get an email today.
If you're interested in a very expensive special dinner, email me directly.
Go to go to my website, Eric Mataxis.com.
Actually, this brings up another thing that I often don't bring up in these opening segments.
There are tons of people who listen to this program who are.
are not signed up to our newsletter.
You're going to get all these interviews, video interview, the video version of these
interviews.
You're going to get all kinds of other information that we just don't have time to get into.
And on the video, you'll be able to see how much hair product I'm wearing.
You'll be able to see that I'm wearing a Trump spray tan, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.
You'll be able to see all kinds of stuff.
So you go to ericmataxis.com.
But if you go to Socratesandiccity.com, you can sign up for the RFK event.
next week. Now, if you cannot be in New York City, you can live stream it, but you have to be a member of Socrates Plus.
I ask everybody who listens to this program to sign up for Socrates Plus because there's all kinds of stuff that we put there that, you know, we, there's no other way for you to see it.
But the live streams, it's just, that's worth it alone doing the Socrates Plus.
So that is June 25th. If you're interested, folks, please.
please, like, jump on it, figure it out and jump on it.
And back to the RFK thing for a minute.
Some people are suggesting that if Trump wins second term that he should appoint RF
or the FTA or something like that.
Well, that's what my hope is that he would appoint RFK Jr.
to run something.
I mean, Trump needs to appoint all of these, like, disturbing figures to run the places that they've
criticized because they know where the bodies are buried.
That's why General Flynn.
you know, about whom we'll be speaking in a moment.
That's why they got rid of him, the deep state,
because he knew where the bodies were buried in the intelligence community.
They had to get rid of him.
So anyway, oh my gosh.
All right, coming up this week, Charlie Kirk,
in case anybody wants to know my opinion of Charlie Kirk,
I don't think it could be higher.
He is doing God's work in this nation.
I love him.
He's a friend.
He's doing amazing stuff.
I know he has a book out.
But he's doing so much.
Pray for Charlie because God is really using him, and I know he's in the enemy's crosshairs.
Charlie Kirk will be my guest this week.
Looking forward to that.
Also, Candace Owens.
I'm going to say, hey, Candice, what's with the Jew hatred, true or false?
He probably won't say that because I won't allow it.
No, obviously.
She's got a new podcast job.
I'm only joking about stuff because I believe I can joke about it.
Because I just find people are so serious, like as if that could be like a real issue,
seriously? I don't think so. But she has joined a cult called the Roman Catholic Church. We're going to be discussing that with her about her cult status. We're talking to Mike Roe. I'm pretty sure that we'll be hearing that this week. We've got a lot of crazy guests. There's a lot of other stuff I want to talk about, but I will have to do that after my conversation with Scott Weiper about General Flynn and again an hour two.
an amazing story of a man who for over 20 years was in the gay lifestyle and managed to find freedom through Jesus Christ.
It's extraordinary stuff.
All right.
So finally, let me say again, it's vital that if you want tickets to the RFK Jr. event, that you get them as soon as possible.
because one of these days, maybe tomorrow, I'm going to say, that's it.
So we're getting close.
So if you want one, go to Socratesandcity.com.
And if you want to go to Oxford, I know there's still tickets available for Oxford, June, July 9th through 12th.
And we'll be right back.

Hey, the folks. Welcome back. I think I told you that my guest right now is the man behind the Flynn movie,
General Flynn, who is on this program last week, he's an American hero.
When people say to me, Eric, what can I do?
How can I help in this battle?
One of the things you could do is see this film and recommend it to your friends.
Now, if you don't do that, don't ask me what you can do because I just told you.
Flynnmovie.com.
Unfortunately, it's very important.
But it gives me hope that films like this are being made, and it gives me joy to speak with the man behind the film.
The producer, Scott Weiper, welcome.
Thank you, Eric.
Now, you were a Hollywood guy.
You were in, what part of the world did you grow up in, and when did you go to Hollywood?
I grew up in Midwest in Ohio, and then I went out to Los Angeles in the early 90s after starting film at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.
Whoa, whoa, Wesleyan.
Yeah, that's it.
I got stories about Wesleyan.
My best friend, John Tomania, went to Wesleyan, graduated, I guess, 84, a little bit before your time.
but I've been to Wesleyan a million times
and in my book, I think I have a copy here,
Fish Out of Water, the story of my life,
I was at O'Rourke's Diner.
I know well, I filmed there.
You filmed there.
Okay, I was at O'Rourke's Diner.
This is like 1985, I think.
I leave O'Rourke's Diner.
No joke.
This is the winter.
I literally, literally,
fell into a manhole.
A manhole on the sidewalk was open.
some construction guys had not bothered to like put cones around it or something.
I fell in, I caught myself without realizing it with my jacket, and I survived.
But I write about it in my book, Fish Out of Water.
That happened at Wesleyan. Man, so you're from Wesleyan.
Wesleyan was like more liberal than Carl Marx.
So I came out of a pretty small, not farm town, but part farm town in Ohio.
And I picked Wesleyan because I wanted to play Division III football because I wasn't good enough for Division 1.
Oh, yeah, Wesleyan.
And they had a film major.
There were only three film majors in the late 80s.
There was USC, NYU, and I came here to look at NYU.
And I went for Wesleyan, having no idea just how radical it was.
Wesleyan makes Yale look conservative.
Like sort of.
Like Wesleyan was, as bad as Yale was, look, all these elite institutions are, they're insensitive.
And if you come from Middle America, which I did, from a home where, you know, on Sundays we go to church and we salute the flag, we believe in American values, and you go to a place like Yale or Wesley, and you're like, what?
It was, I mean, you must have been hit.
Well, I grew up in Danbury, Connecticut, which is very middle America, middle class, working class, right?
And my parents, working class.
So when I go to this, like, elite university and you encounter the left lunacy, you kind of think, what, what's this?
And I drank that Kool-Aid.
It was a whole different world.
And I was, some of my classmates, John Bush and John Soros.
And there was a lot of, not only there was a lot of wealth at Wesleyan.
Right.
I didn't even understand.
No, but that's kind of what I'm saying.
It goes with the territory.
I come from a working class home.
You come from working class home.
Middle America.
You go to these places.
There's money and elite, the cultural elite values,
which is anti-American global, like whatever it is, but you're not prepared for it?
Well, it's fascinating.
You know Wesleyan because only those that really get it.
If it wasn't for Wesleyan and if it wasn't for Hollywood, I kind of wouldn't have the mindset I do.
And I had a fairly conservative, middle-the-road conservative parents and upbringing.
But I think I was thrown into such an extreme.
Yeah.
that, and this is something that lacks nowadays sometimes, you're forced into critical thinking.
It's funny because I didn't, that sort of is my story, but my critical thinking, it took some time, basically.
But praise the Lord that you and I survived these Marxist indoctrination camps.
But, you know, it took a while.
Now, one of the things that happens, it happened to me and happened to you, is you learn to speak the language of the cultural elites.
You know how they think.
So for you, it was Hollywood and Wesley, and for me, it was.
It was New York, Manhattan, and Yale.
But it's the same thing.
You learn to speak that language, but then you start thinking differently,
and you can communicate more effectively, which brings us to the subject of why we're here today.
It's very exciting.
You made this documentary film, which I have seen.
It's must-viewing, folks.
I tell you, you need to see the film.
Flynnmovie.com.
But what was your journey up to this film?
In those, you were in Hollywood trying to survive as a man with common sense values, which is not that easy.
Absolutely.
You know, we were talking about Wesleyan.
I got there and they asked to get into the film major, why do you want to be a film major?
And most of the students were from New York and their parents were in the arts.
And I was just, I said, I'm here for three reasons.
Die hard, lead the weapon in 48 hours.
And it turns out the head of the film department loved that.
But that environment applies directly to Flynn.
Yeah.
Deliver the truth, whatever the cost.
Because what you said, when we first met, we talked about just left of center.
And, you know, to make a film that doesn't just preach to the choir.
And so when you said, you speak the language, that I think is one of the first things we discussed
because we're in narrative warfare, right?
So words matter.
So a lot of the, I just tried to create an environment with all of our guests where, and half the crew, I'd say two-thirds of the crew, maybe three-fourths of the crew, had voted for Biden.
Meaning I first suggested, I'm going to bring my film crew, meaning the men and women that I use every time, and make no, there will be no concessions because, oh, this is, I threw the politics out.
And I said, while we're filming, and the general loved this idea.
We have a real-time reaction from the camera people, from everybody,
because they're hearing these stories and we're seeing how they react.
See, that's what's so fascinating.
And again, you talk about information warfare.
That's the whole point is most people never get to hear this stuff.
They are watching mainstream media.
They're consuming mainstream culture,
which is presenting other narratives, which is avoiding, I mean, most Americans don't know the nightmare of what happened to General Flynn and why.
And so, folks, this is an opportunity not just for you, but for your neighbors.
If we understand what is actually going on, it's going to change things.
You're going to have a different view.
And I think it's beginning to happen, Scott, that because of films like this, things are shifted.
You can feel it. You can feel it.
Well, okay, so what films have you worked on or whatever?
What were you doing before you get involved in working on this documentary recently?
I mean, were you like a closeted conservative in Hollywood?
No, no.
I was, I guess I was always a bit confused.
I always had, was a believer in the Uniparty, and I was very open about this.
Wait, you mean you understood that there was a Uniparty?
Yes.
Because most people, myself included stupid me, you know, until, you know, almost 2020, I didn't really see the depth of the so-called deep state and the unipart.
Like, it didn't really, really hit me the way I now know it until for a while.
But people would mention it.
But you're saying you were onto this thing.
You saw it.
Yes.
And when I first sat down with the general on the team, you know, I said, I, I, I said, I, I, I, I said, I, I, you know, I said, I, you're saying, I.
I'm a two-time Obama voter.
I'm a, and I even voted for John Kerry and Al Gore.
Yes.
And I probably could have never been a Republican because of the Bush-Cheney element.
So I was more, I went with the flow.
I'd gone to Wesleyan.
I was in Hollywood.
Of course, I became disillusioned around 2012.
My main thing was get out of these endless wars, right?
It really didn't matter me which side.
But this is what fascinates me.
is that you have people that would have been on the left
and people that be on the right,
both seeing that the Bush, Cheney, neocons,
that they are the war party.
And so, I mean, hearing your story,
like we all, if you wake up, we're all waking up at different time.
So it's so fascinating to me.
Then in 2012, you kind of begin to see.
And it was a grad.
I didn't have like a one moment,
except for, I had voted for Bernie Sanders in the primaries,
because anything but a Bush or Clinton.
And I was for the and the endless war message
that both Trump and Bernie were saying.
Crowds were coming to both men.
But then ultimately, I very quickly became a Trump supporter
and revoked my Democrat registration in California.
Well, look, this is happening all over the country.
There are tons, folks, tons of minority voters
who see themselves as Trump voters now.
This scares the deep state, the Unip Party to death.
They are scared to death because finally this change is happening after decades.
And I'm a consumer of media and a student of media, not just movies.
So I would always see a pattern where they're telling you one story in the narrative on your,
I would record like six different channels.
Yeah, yeah.
At 3 a.m. 6 a.m. here, but I'd see what everyone, how everyone's reporting it.
Yeah.
And you'd see the actions aren't changing of our country.
Yeah.
But they change the narrative.
Yeah.
And people that aren't paying attention don't realize that we're at war all through the 90s.
Yes.
We're, my gosh, so much.
We'll be right back, Flynnmovie.com.
Check it out.

Welcome back. I'm talking to Scott Weiper, who is behind the Flynn documentary. General Flynn is the subject of the film, Flynnmovie.com. It is mandatory viewing folks. Please, please do yourself in your country of favor. See the film, Flynnmovie.com. So, Scott, you've been on a journey, and this gives me hope that there are lots of folks like you, that they've been figuring it out. Things have gotten stranger and stranger. And then finally, you kind of, you've been.
you know, you pop up and you go, hey, I suddenly see things I've never seen before.
I never understood it before.
And in your case, you say, I want to tell an important part of the story,
which is the story of General Flynn.
How did that come to you?
I mean, how does somebody who voted for Obama twice,
how does somebody like that get approached to do a film about General Flynn?
How did this story come up?
to you? In 2021 and 22, I started putting the word out to anyone that wanted to do something. A lot of times I was just sitting down to write a screenplay and I just couldn't, you know, classic writers block. And I knew I had to do something that was important to what's going on in this country. And I had studied the attacks on General Flynn very carefully. And I noticed there was parallel attacks. There was one of the mainstream media, which painted him as,
right-wing Christian nationalist.
And then there was another one going on within alternative media saying, well, he's actually, you know, aligned with Obama and deep state in trying to separate General Flynn and Trump.
And I put a massive amount of time on this because I was fascinated with this narrative warfare.
And what I found and what everyone should find was this is a great man and he's incorruptible.
See, that right there, that's a big.
piece because one thing I've discovered to my heart is how many people are corruptible, how many
people have a price, how many people say, oh, you want me to play ball? Okay, I'll play ball. He refused.
He is a man of honor, and that is a rare thing. It needs to be celebrated. But you saw that.
You worked closely. Absolutely. And it just increased. I was searching for the truth. And so one of the
joys of being a movie maker is you get incredible invitations and I was invited to come down and sit.
And so I learned more and more.
And storytelling is the art of omission, something that, you know, and so you have facts, facts, facts, but you choose which ones.
So one thing I noticed about the media, what they say about General Flynn is he pled guilty and he got a pardon from Trump.
Okay. Two facts that are true. But they leave out the 18 months in between, right, where the Department of Justice dropped the charges.
They also leave out that he and Sidney Powell refused the first.
And what is that? That's called lying by telling the truth. In other words, they're telling, they're giving you facts which are utterly misleading.
So the spirit of it is a foul lie. But they hide behind. Nope, nope, that's true. That's true.
but they know by presenting those two facts that they are misleading people in terms of the conclusion.
So you obviously picked up on this.
Absolutely.
And so did the crew.
And that was the, you know, we had a sizable Hollywood crew.
And it was fascinating to watch everyone come to not only love General Flynn, but his entire family.
And you could see it within.
And some people, they would watch the hit pieces, some people in the crew, and they'd get nervous like they were going to get blackballed from Hollywood or who knows what their feel was.
But I said, just come in.
We're shooting in Florida.
I said, just come down and give it a day or two.
And once you meet him, all that will vanish.
And that was kind of what drove me as a filmmaker.
I'm like, so the goal was to capture what happens when somebody might be thinking, oh, you know, like,
They've listened to all the corporate media lies, the stories, and I watched it vanish.
He just comes through.
We're organizing in the office, and he'll just come through and sit down for a couple hours.
He was less busy at that time or briefly.
Some sit-downs could go for hours.
But I would just watch them listen and see his humanity and his kindness and his intelligence.
and his intelligence, and they'd just be, we'd go to dinner that night, and they'd be
scratching their head. He's a great guy.
Well, this is when, you know, for me, I mean, this is when you see that he has no guile.
Like, you're listening and you're thinking, this is a real guy.
Now, look, there are tons of phonies out there, various stripes.
He's the real deal.
You just say, he's not a phony.
He's just telling the truth.
He's brilliant, but he's also a simple man on some level.
He just communicates in a matter-fact way.
There's just no phoniness.
Yes.
But I remember, I remember, you know, I guess when you're talking about this Hollywood crew that normally they would be on the left.
And you can see it happened to you.
It happened to me in the late 80s where your brain is going, wait a minute, wait a minute, something's not making sense.
I've been believing something that's not true.
For me, it happened after I accepted Jesus dramatically, miraculously in 1988.
It was around that time, maybe a few months before.
I remember watching the Bork hearings, and all of my Democrat heroes were behaving in a way that common sense, me, was thinking, this is despicable.
They're railroading this guy.
I never, and that's when you start, things begin to shift under your feet, and you start thinking, okay, maybe I've been rooting for the wrong team.
So it gets that process of critical thinking going.

the man behind the movie about general Flynn i spoke to general Flynn last week i've gotten to know
him he's the real deal uh and you um scott wiper
filmmaker, you decided to take this on, and it's been such a journey for you, but let me say,
if I haven't already said it on the air, congratulations on making this film, because this is,
unfortunately, a very important film. Like, I wish it weren't, but it's very important, and there's a lot of
stuff in it. I mean, what should we talk about in the film for people that maybe they didn't
watch my interview with General Flynn, or they don't know about this? But I guess, for me,
the takeaway, you could just comment or give me your view, but it was that what we today call the
deep state, the bad guys, knew that they had to get rid of Flynn, he was trouble, which tells
you something about somebody. If they want to get rid of you, that means you're over the target.
Flynn was over the target. He saw stuff in the intelligence community that was wrong. He was
bravely speaking against it. So they have, you know, their sights set on him.
because they knew if they could get rid of him,
they could cripple Trump from doing what he wanted to do.
Is that the basic gist of it?
Yes.
And the only thing that terrifies the establishment,
more than the two individual men, is the two together.
Because it seemed as soon as they came together,
and people forget that,
that General Flynn
was appointed,
promoted by Obama
twice. President Obama. By Obama.
All the way up to run the
DIA, not only one of the largest
intelligence agencies in our
country, but in the world, right?
He got there by President
Obama and that administration.
He was a lifelong Democrat
up until that point. He says in the movie,
he went into the Trump administration
as a registered Democrat.
But when they come together,
It's almost like you resurrect to the ghost of Eisenhower and JFK
in the sense of what clean up the intelligence agencies, namely the CIA.
So everyone that digested all this information, you know, we did 100 hours of interviews,
but it was anyone who cares about this nation, and this is how I feel.
The movie's done.
But my passion to get people to see it is that General Flynn should be in a position.
where he can finish the job.
Okay.
That's exactly what I said, is that he has to be,
and this has to scare the left and the deep state to death and the Uniparty.
You know, George Bush, Obama, all these folks, they're scared.
Clapper, Brennan, they are scared because they know the truth.
They don't want the truth to get out.
and they know that if they cannot railroad Trump and Flynn,
and if they cannot succeed, they're dead.
They're in big trouble.
Like their deeds are going to be known to America.
Yeah.
I bet there was a sediment amongst John Brennan, Jim Clapper, the whole that,
the scariest thing was that President Trump was going to let General Flynn do,
what he wanted to do, which was
audit the intelligence agencies
and clean up the
mess we have in that world.
And I hope
it happens. And I'll do anything
I can to see that happens
because
most of the people in power
in our nation, since I was born,
they seem to be part lawyer,
part actor, right?
And we're dealing with two men
that are from another
different world.
and everything, when I said I was confused, you know, growing at a unit party,
I grew up in a family where we'd sit and talk about the events of Iran-Contra in the 80s.
That was dinner table conversation.
All the things that have always haunted me and confused me, as I got deeper and deeper in the General Flynn story, I said, this is the answer.
And when he sets his mind to do something, he does it.
Yeah.
Well, look, others have tried before.
JFK and RFK tried, and they were murdered by the Deep State.
Am I getting that wrong?
I don't think so.
They were onto this stuff, and they went to war with the Deep State,
but they did it to some extent foolishly.
That theme developed naturally as we did hours and hours and days of interviews,
which was those who've stood up against this runaway.
intelligence system have been met with lethal force.
Yes.
And then we shifted to character assassination, assassination by narrative, right?
Right.
It's a lot of, and it's...
Well, that's, if you can get away with that, if you can't, you try to put a bullet in their head.
I mean, they would love to put a bullet in Trump's head, but, look, I believe that at its heart,
is a spiritual battle. This is between good and evil. This is not just between good guys and bad. It's
between good and evil. And I really believe God's hand is still on this nation and that it is God's
will that we prevail. And I think that RFK and JFK, you know, they wanted, they had, I think,
I think there was a cockiness and an arrogance that they didn't understand that they could be killed.
and I also don't think that they were morally and spiritually pure.
JFK is bringing prostitutes into the White House every week.
I mean, if you want God to be with you, you're not going to open yourself up like that.
So we're in a new day.
The question is, you know, what do we think is going to happen?
What do you think it's going to happen?
Do you think Trump will be inclined to bring General Flynn into a second Trump administration?
Do you think Trump will get elected?
Yes.
and yes, my opinion.
Yeah.
We just did a tour
showing this movie in 32 cities
across America. That question comes up
a lot. I've never
been asked it directly
on film. I get asked every
day, though.
But yeah,
I'm, and I said this
while filming, I'm incredibly
optimistic. That doesn't mean
I sit on my butt.
I think you can be
And I guess there's different people.
I'm incredibly optimistic about our future, but I think it's going to get very ugly before.
You are saying exactly what I say.
In other words, on the one hand, I'm optimistic.
On the other hand, it's kind of like I always say at the end of my new book, I talk about if you'd ask George Washington in 1776, hey, how's it going?
He would say it's going very poorly, but we fight on.
We fight on.
And if Providence be with us in this cause of liberty, we can prevail.
But our job is to fight.
And we're going to take casualties.
It's a war, but we fight on because we believe it's the right thing.
We'll be right back.

Darker Shane, darling, dark a shame.
Folks, welcome back.
I understand that there are people listening to my voice right now who have not yet seen the Flynn movie.
That has to change.

dot com.
I really believe this is one of the things
that changes the narrative
in America. As Americans see this and
begin to feel the weight
of responsibility
that they've been going along
with the crowd to some extent,
not being aware of what's
been happening.
You made this film
I know
to help
people see what happened.
Have you been hearing stories
about people who've been seeing it because I know so many people, there's so much information,
we get confused, we get distracted, but when I watched the film and kind of really understood
how central this was, I kind of thought, I think this is going to change some important minds,
some minds that needed to be changed. I think so too. This was not a film made to preach to the
choir. It is
enjoyable and there's lots of information
for everybody. I mean, there's
many people that know the entire General Fund's
story and they're on the side. They're
like, wow, I didn't know that. However, the
most fascinating part for me
has been, it takes a little longer
but when someone who might be left
of center, I don't think in terms of these
politics, but when they
finally watch it and those
in my life said, hey, hey, can you
talk? Are you free to talk?
It's fascinating. And that
That's where the fun is, and that's who it was made for.
They say, there's an old less thing, anecdote, about when you're making a film, you're not thinking about millions of people.
And in your head, you kind of think of five people.
Yeah.
Right.
And some of our family members, right?
Yeah, yeah.
And so in my head, it was always, call it left of center, reasonable people who might have drank the Kool-Aid, the negative Kool-Aid about Jurfling.
And watching their brain just go, I didn't know that.
I didn't know that.
This is a good guy.
this is a great guy. This is a veteran. This is a hero.
But they, and they can't, they can't debate it very well.
And what I've seen is, and that's what the joy is.
And I'd ask everyone out there, you know, to share it with people that, that normally wouldn't watch something like this,
because it's not what they expect.
It's a man who's been trying to put an end to endless war.
Yeah.
Yeah. Well, you know, that I think, again, part of, I talk about this all the time, what's been happening in the last, let's say, eight years, four years, depending on where people kind of come into it, is it's hard to process.
When you find something out that you didn't know, you know, you think, oh, I think Mike Pence is a good guy.
Then you find out in this film what he did, and you go, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
That can't be right. That doesn't go along with what. So you dig a little deeper, and it's hard to process that some people were really, you know, tools of the enemy. Some of them witting, some of them unwitting. Again, you've got really evil people, and then you have people just kind of playing ball and kind of going along, think they're doing well. Some people who are convinced that Trump is Hitler, so they need to do anything they can to get rid of them. There's a real continuum in terms of, you know,
where people stand.
But part of what this film helps people do is put the pieces together so you can process what you've been seeing.
I think what struck me the most and what everyone should want in our government is when decisions about war being made,
when you have someone like General Flynn in the room who has seen death, they've seen war, that is the game changer.
for me, which is there are so many people talking about decisions that put men and women
their lives at stake.
And they've never been there.
I don't know if Dick Cheney or John Brennan have been there.
So I would think everyone, left of center, whatever their politics are, they would want
someone who's actually seen the death and destruction.
All right, folks, I've been talking to Scott Weiper the Finn.
Film is Flynn.
