Mattaxas show. It's the show that helps you make sense of things that would otherwise baffle you.
Like, for example, why does that one shoe hide in the back of the closet like that?
Is it afraid of you? Or does it just need some alone time? Or maybe it's ashamed of something.
Something terrible that only a shoe would be ashamed of? The answers to these and other questions
right here, right now on the Eric Mataxis show. And now your host, Eric Mataxis.
Hey there, folks. Welcome to the Eric Mataxis show. In a couple of minutes, we have, as our guest,
actually like on camera if you're going to be watching this on camera.
If you're not going to be watching it on camera, then we don't have him on camera.
It's just audio.
His name is Sean Hannity, Sean Patrick Hannity.
Sean Patrick Hannity, he's an Irish fella, grew up in Long Island or on Long Island, as we say.
And he has a new book out because Lord knows he's not making money off of the TV program.
He needs some cash.
So he's decided to write a book.
and to promote it everywhere, including on this, the best of all shows.
Usually we don't take guests like Sean Hannity on this program,
but it's PR firm.
They're very powerful.
There's a little paola involved.
Chris Himes and Albin, I know that you had gifts sent to you so that we would have
Sean Hannity on this program.
You caved, and you just said, we'll do whatever it takes with the big guy referring to me.
and so you, you know, you greased my palms a little bit.
What did you get?
I know one of you got a COVID mask sent as a gift from the Hannity Association.
What was that?
Yeah, I got this Luchador mask here.
Oh, my goodness.
Look at that.
It's from Mexico.
And, you know, I don't know if it's up to code.
That's, you know what?
That is an unbelievable.
Folks, if you listen to this program.
I got a pencil on the radio, on the radio, as, as most,
Most people do.
I just want to say you might want to check out our YouTube channel.
It's the Eric Mataxis show on YouTube.
Why do I say that?
I say that because right now I'm looking at Chris Heim's wearing a lusador mask.
Yeah, it's south of the border.
You know, it has a large mouth opening.
So I don't know how the FDA would feel about this.
It's not very effective against COVID after all.
Well, I think we're going to need to ask Sean about.
that when he comes on the program in a couple of minutes. But as I say, oh my gosh, it's Mike
Lindell. Mike Lindell shows up on the program. Hi, Mike. How are you? Mike Lindell shows up on the
program to remind us, to remind you that if you're any kind of a patriot, you will visit my pillow
dot com and you will order stuff, including the bobblehead doll to my left. You will order stuff
and you'll use the code, Eric, and that if you don't do that,
you may as well be working with the terrorists.
That's the message.
It's very important we get this message out to you.
So please go to Mypillow.com.
Or you're working with a peaceful protester.
Or you're working with, exactly, exactly.
You're intensifying the peace, untiluding, all right?
So I wanted to be clear on that.
We got a few things to share quickly before we bring Sean Hannity on to the program.
in an hour two, to kind of go in an opposite direction, just to show my range, I'm going to go
from Sean Hannity to John Zmirak.
So we're going to have a lot of Zmirak today, and we're going to have some fun.
I probably should mention last week I was in California, California, as the previous governor
used to say.
And when I was in California, I spoke at the church of our friend Greg Lurie.
who's been on this program a few times.
That'll be online.
I don't know if it's online yet, but that will be online.
He interviewed me about my book, Seven More Men,
and we wove in some women from my Seven Women book
and some men from my Seven Men book,
but it was really a fun conversation.
Greg Lurie is just amazing.
And when I was there, I was also involved at a conference
with some folks that I think,
some of you will know we had Lance Wollnow was there and Pastor Che on.
Pastor Che has a church, big church out there and works all around the world.
They'll be on this program in the next couple of weeks, but it was absolutely wonderful.
But one thing I wanted to comment on that I had to comment on, when I went on Tucker Carlson's program,
he played something from who is it is the congressman cliburn from it's north carolina or south
carolina and cliborne was talking about or he was asked about the the portland riders burning
bibles and he he didn't so much appear to defend it as he appeared to be genuinely
unaware of it and utterly ignorant of the import of
of such a thing had it happened, which of course it had.
So it struck me, and I said it on the program,
that he and Joe Biden, in a way, they're classic career politicians.
In other words, I don't think that they start out as evil or anything,
but they really become part of the swamp,
and the money makes them essentially ineffective or worse yet,
effective for whoever's paying them.
And I said that he and Biden and such like career politicians are animated wax works dummies.
And I realized that's like something out of the 19th century.
Nobody refers to wax works dummies, you know, like wax works.
Like what's the last time you went to a wax, an old style wax museum?
But it was important to talk about the Bible and how the Bible, when you burn a Bible, you're not attacking Christians.
you're attacking America and the West.
In other words, the West arose out of that book called The Bible.
Athens and Jerusalem, you know, shook hands, and you get the Christendom of the West,
which led to the abolition of slavery.
It led to the very idea that all men are created equal,
which we enshrined in our founding documents.
And so there's more that we'll be saying about that in the weeks ahead.
But I just wanted to point out.
The Bible. I'm going to see if I can buy that on Amazon.
Yeah, the Bible. They have different versions of it.
There's like a Duck Commander Bible.
There's a John MacArthur Bible. There's a Bible that God wrote also that he inspired many human beings to write.
And I always recommend that one.
If it has the apocrypha in it, burn it.
Actually, now, in all seriousness, before we do get to Sean Haney, I'm so thrilled that we get to talk to, to,
to Sean Hannity.
Maybe we'll joke around with him
because he can be very serious
on his program,
but on this program,
I'm simply not going to have that.
And so I guess
we also got some letters.
What do you guys think
we should show?
How about food for the poor?
Oh, my goodness.
You tell us about food for the poor.
Chris, did you want to tell them?
I'll tell them about food for the poor.
Go for it, Alvin.
We're just very happy
of the response we've gotten,
and it's very exciting.
Yeah, very exciting.
I mean, and this is why people are giving, because for just $37, just $37, you can feed a child for six months, okay, for $37 in one of these Caribbean countries.
And because of the COVID pipeline has been shut down.
And we are giving away very nice gifts.
If you go to the Metaxus Talk website and you click on the banner, you will see the gifts that we are giving away.
but I know you don't give to get,
but we are giving away some wonderful, wonderful gifts.
And Eric, you might want to tell them about a couple more.
Well, all I'll say is that the reason we work with food for the poor
is because we know if they come to us and say,
we're in desperate need, we need you to go to your listeners.
We know they're not kidding.
They're not just some big organization that exists to exist.
They are supremely effective at helping the poorest of the poor
in some of the poorest nations around the world and specifically in the Western Hemisphere.
And I have to say that the generosity of you, our viewers and listeners, has been really wonderful.
We have been able to help a lot of kids.
Here's the bottom line.
They're starving.
Food for the poor can leverage American dollars, your dollars, to feed many children for what effectively becomes pennies and dollars here.
They can feed many children.
And all of that is on the website, metaxis talk.com.
We ask you if you haven't given.
Most of you, of course, have not given.
Please go there, metaxis talk.com.
You will see what we will do to thank you.
We just, we want to thank you.
We're thrilled that you're partnering with us.
But this is genuinely important.
And we are blessed to be a blessing.
So many of us, we have the ability to give something.
God gives us that ability so that we can give something.
so we can bless those who are really in a tough spot.
When we come back, I'm not kidding.
Sean Hannity, the Sean Hannity,
will be right here talking to us.
Folks, I try to get the big guests.
I never do, but now I did.
Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Sean Patrick Hannity,
what is that? Jewish, Sean?
What is it?
Oh, yeah, you know, all four grandparents came from Ireland.
Well, first of all, you're a dear friend.
You're a patriot.
your voice is vital. It is crucial. I keep saying it's an all hands-on-deck moment. I believe it with all my
heart. My head, my heart, my solar plexes, my emotions, my soul. I got to tell you, I have like a
five-alarm fire going on. And every single person like yourself, all of us together, you know,
we've got a heavy lift in 84 days. And I believe it's a tipping point for the country. And I feel strongly
that there's so much corruption in the news media,
and there's such a wave of psychotic hatred towards the president,
that there are very few venues, unfortunately,
where people have where they can actually be given just the other side
so they can make up their own mind.
So you're one of the champions of that.
Well, I'm pretty sure you're confusing me with somebody else,
but let me just say this.
Let me say this.
The same guy that I remember.
I you honestly you have been and this is not this is going to be like Merv Griffin show where we're we're congratulating each other but I got to be honest you've been one of the one of the heroes in a way that has been unfortunately vital vital the information that you've put out through through John Solomon and Sarah Carter your team I mean what what world have we come to when when we have somebody like you uh
is having to do the journalism all the right ways.
Somebody, like you, we're stuck with you having to do their job.
But think of what I'm saying.
In other words, you and I know we're not journalists.
How is it that you who say you're not a journalist are doing the most important journalism,
that if it weren't for your show and for this kind of stuff, I just find that if people want
to know how bad things are, it's that if it weren't for folks like you and your show,
we would not be hearing anything of what's happening.
It includes people like you.
And let me say this.
So maybe I'll make a distinction about what it is I do for a living because I get asked that question.
You're a journalist.
No.
I am a talk show host.
Okay.
I'm a member of the press, which is vital.
You know, I look at what I do.
It's very simple.
I can produce, Eric, hours and hours on TV and radio, me doing straight news, no opinion.
all right, storm coming, war zones, you know, whatever it happens to be.
So we do news.
Now, we also do investigative reporting.
You mentioned the whole Russia hoax conspiracy lying, which was 99% of the media.
We were the very small minority that got it right or vetting Obama.
Nobody wanted to vet Obama in 07 and 08.
We did that too.
Nobody really wanted to hear about air.
But that's kind of what I'm saying is that you were the guy out there.
there hanging, hanging out there doing that and taking every kind of guff. And here we are.
Here we are. But we do opinion. So we do investigative reporting. We do straight news. We do
opinion. I like to say what I do is a whole newspaper. But I'm honest about it. I have a
conservative viewpoint on my editorial page, my opinion page. And they claim that they're journalists.
They're not journalists because if they did it, they would be fair and balanced.
And we all know and your audience understands now because I think people are, they're highly tuned in.
Once you recognize bias and it's abusively biased, you can't not see it.
And then you're like, how did I not see it beforehand?
And I always knew the media was biased, but it's never been worse.
Now it's borderline, it's rage and psychosis.
and I always say that if Donald Trump cured cancer,
that they would want to impeach him for it.
There's no doubt about it.
I mean, I finally canceled my subscription to the New York Times.
I felt like as a Manhattanite,
I owe it to myself to look at this paper.
But I guess halfway through this administration,
I couldn't bear it.
Every day above the fold headlines
that somehow managed to spin
whatever it was. It could be a tornado coming, managed to spin it that it's the president's fault
or something. And I thought to myself, things have always been bad with the press, but we've crossed the
line. There is no journalism happening. Journalism, I said in 07, the first time I said it,
journalism in America is dead. You know, I mean, if the dog bites, if the bee stings, if you're feeling
sad, it's all Donald Trump's fault.
On the other hand, I mean, there's also an opportunity.
There's a hunger and a thirst for news and information, which is what we are in news, information,
opinion that you're not going to get anywhere else.
And you're right, there was a very small, very small ensemble cast.
It includes talk radio, what we call the small 1% of media, which is conservative,
or the few voices on Fox.
It's not every voice on Fox.
conservative. So we're out there, but what do we find out? The biggest abuse of power corruption,
Eric, let me be playing. This was an attempted coup by 1% of people of the most powerful
positions within our FBI and our intelligence community. And I make the distinction, not the 99%.
It's just like George Floyd can never happen again. That can't happen in our country.
all right and but that's not the 99% of cops that protect and serve and that put their lives on the line how do we how do we forget the cops on 9-11 that ran up those buildings when everyone else was coming down how did we forget those two Capitol Hill police officers when Steve Scalise was shot in that ball field they literally were going up against a a rifle with the guy camouflaged and hidden
and they're in an open ball field with a pistol.
I've been a pistol marksman since I'm 11 years old.
My mom was a prison guard.
My dad was family court probation.
So they had a firearm in the house.
They didn't want their dopey, incorrigible 10-year-old son getting near it.
So they taught me gun safety at a very young age.
But imagine the courage it took.
Did we forget?
They walked out.
They were sitting ducks against the rifle in an open field.
the guy has minimal skill, you're dead.
It's over.
But they did it anyway.
It's unbelievable.
It is absolutely.
Injured cops.
The Seattle police chief after the cuts out there just resigned.
And she's saying, well, she said to the businesses and the people of Seattle, I can't do my job.
Which, wow, because they've taken away every tool that my force has been trained in the use of.
We know how to just, we know what crowd dispersals all.
about. It's not pretty. It's pepper, pepper spray and usually tear gas, but it works. And then we have a
presidential candidate that has now aligned himself with the most radical elements that have in Portland,
74 straight days in Seattle, the, you know, the summer of love zone in New York. Isn't this the headline,
Sean, that even five years ago, the Democratic Party, most Democrat leaders, when you had this
kind of absolute madness and violence and looting, they would have stood up because they still
believed in the basics. The idea that you have somebody that's been serving the country,
quote unquote, for 50 years, and he is unable to muster a sentence against this, it's like
he's in a hostage video. Why can't Joe Biden have a sister soldier moment? You know, he might get elected.
I have to tell you, that to me is the most staggering thing
that Pelosi and the whole gang are just afraid of the mob themselves.
Well, I think the Canary and the coal mine might have been Joel Lieberman.
Remember, it was the vice presidential candidate for the Democrats in 2000.
All right, that's 20 years ago.
Not that long.
Bernie Sanders was viewed as the outlier, as the, they rolled their eyes at him.
Right.
Now he's become the mainstream of the party.
So, okay, what's on the ballot this year?
Well, certainly this president's for law and order and security and safety is begging all these governors and all these mayors.
And again, what do they have in common?
They've been run by liberal Democrats for decades.
What else do they have in common?
Their educational systems are atrocious.
They're failing their kids.
Their number one responsibility, safety, and security, they're failing there.
And Joe Biden goes as far as the police have now become the end.
enemy, part of the defund effort in spite of him now trying to backtrack, he said, oh, of course we're
going to reallocate funds away from the police. That's not going to end well. Then in what I think
is the most spectacular development in this election cycle is now he's adopted, plagiarized a lot of even
Bernie Sanders, Bolshevik Bernie's, right, manifesto, and straight on socialism. He's pledged
trillions of dollars for AOC's, quote, new green deal, trillions of our dollars.
Everything's going to be free, the false hope of socialism.
And then you got Beto Bozo.
He says, hell yeah, we're coming for your guns.
Okay, he's his guns are.
And Biden, Pelosi, and Schumer, you've got 125 combined years of swamp experience.
And I would ask every one of your clear thinking,
in your clear thinking audience,
okay, what have they ever accomplished
that you can point to
that has made the lives of the American people better?
We're going to go to a break.
We'll be right back with Sean Hannity, folks.
Don't go away.
Hey there, folks.
I'm talking to Sean Hannity, so why should I talk?
First of all, Sean, here's the problem
when I'm talking to you.
I agree with everything you say so much
that it just becomes like,
I don't know what to say.
You are one of the,
very few voices that is being clear, your book is called live free or die, it's our last
chance. I've been saying that. I know that it's true. But there are many Americans that they
don't believe all the never Trumpers have some insane idea that somehow if Trump weren't elected,
we'd be okay. Can you say something to them? Because how do you convince these people where we are?
you're not going to. And, you know, it's funny, because all these years when you had a moderate John McCain or a moderate Mitt Romney, what do they always say those of us that are more conservative, oh, you got to, you know, for the good of the blah, blah, blah, blah. And we always would suck it up. We all, you know what? Our guy lost, whoever we preferred. But it's certainly better than the alternative. What do they do? They picked up their toys like spoiled brats. Now they support Hillary.
and then they're going to support Joe Biden.
Here's to me what it all comes down to,
and this is what's on the ballot,
and it's pretty much every significant major issue.
If the stated policies of Biden are implemented,
in other words, Bolshevik Bernie's economic plan,
AOC's new Green Deal that he's pledging trillions towards,
his gun issue with Beto O'Rourke,
I'm going to raise your campaign,
your taxes, transform the economy was the words that he used.
I don't see how we make it back because, and I do a whole history, socialism, a history
of failure.
Because anyone don't make it back.
If you drive off the cliff and I don't make it back.
I don't believe.
I don't think there's a path backwards.
And I understand for some people that may be a great psychological component to this and appeal
to one's mind is that.
everything's free. So my question, if you really believe that you're going to have free, free K through
college education, free government guaranteed job, government guaranteed wage, vacation,
healthy food, health care, retirement. My next question to you is while simultaneously getting rid
oil and gas, the lifeblood of our economy. Okay. My question is, what is government done right?
because Obamacare made promises, but the results are in.
Millions lost their plans.
Millions lost their doctors.
We're paying on average 200 percent more, and almost 40 percent of the country now has
one Biden-Oabomacare option.
Did that work?
How is government doing with security and safety in all of these cities, Portland,
Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, not very well?
That's their most fundamental responsibility to its state.
Citterinsonry. So they get an F there too. How are they doing as it relates to education of our kids?
We spend more per capita than any other industrialized nation. They failed there. My question is,
why would you believe the false promises that when they're not even fulfilling the most basic
responsibility in the very place that they are going, if you want to know what Joe Biden's
America will look like, take a good, long, hard look at New York, state and city. Illinois,
the state, Chicago, the city. Seattle, the city, and Washington the state.
Portland, the city, Oregon, the state. How are they doing? Because that's a preview of coming
attractions. That's going to be Biden's America. Oh, I have no doubt that what you're saying
is true. Part of the reason I think some people get Trump and some people don't get Trump,
It gets to the issue that you and I both were raised working class.
There's something about that language that we understand.
And the cultural elites that sneer basically at working class people that Trump forced them to decide between the deplorables and their friends at, I don't know, whatever D.C. foundation or whatever it is.
And it's an interesting, clarifying moment in our history because obviously,
Trump does care about the, you call him the forgotten man. He cares about that. I think that's
what makes him the folk hero that he is. You know, he's not just the political figure. He's a
folk hero. You know, Eric, I don't know if you recall, but I was out there early for Donald Trump.
And I put all of my conservative credentials and credibility on the line. And what was I saying to
my audience? And I took a lot of heat from a lot, a lot of incoming from our side.
And I did it because I said, and actually their arguments were thoughtful.
They were well informed.
They were strong.
Well, why do you believe he'll governor as a conservative when he gave to Hillary and gave to other Democrats?
Why do you believe he's pro-life when he was once pro-choice, even though he gave his explanation?
And me saying very strongly, he will govern as a conservative.
Because I knew him personally for nearly three decades.
I've known him all this time.
And he even, he's the most transparent person,
especially a president I've seen in our lifetime.
What he says is what he means,
there's no running to the right, running back to the center.
He wears it all on his sleeve.
And he is a street fighter.
Well, okay, well, maybe I wish you would be a little less confrontational.
He probably wouldn't be where he is if he was nice all the time.
He fights, but he also fights for those better trade deals.
He fights for a way to get the border money.
He fights for his Supreme Court nominees when others would cut and run.
He fought for eliminating the bureaucracy, energy independence.
John, I'm just, you're a hero.
Your book is called, His Free or Die.
The hero is the American people.
Well, there's no doubt about that.
Folks in a wheel.
There's no doubt about that.
But you've been such a voice, and it just means a lot.
God bless you.
Thanks for your time.
God bless.
And listen.
84 days, vote. That's what we need.
Thanks, Eric.
Albin, I want to tell you about relief factor.
Oh, yeah, yeah. I take it all the time.
I know you do. A lot of people take it. Half the media are talking about it.
But on this program, instead of me talking about it, how about if we could get somebody else to talk about it?
Somebody, for example, named Fineta.
Oh.
Over the years, as I got older, I noticed pain in my hips, and it got worse and worse.
Trying to walk upstairs, it was so miserable.
That morning I heard about Relief Factor.
I ordered it right then.
Within three weeks, I was free of pain.
That's what everybody says.
You try it.
If it's not helped you within three weeks, I wouldn't use it.
But most people are helped by it.
It's all natural botanicals.
You could take it all day long.
It's just not the kind of thing you have to worry about, like Advil or something.
You know, you don't want to take that stuff regularly.
So go to Relieffactor.com.
Relieffactor.com.
It has helped me.
It has helped a ton of people.
I highly recommend it.
I beg my relatives to take it.
Relieffactor.com.
Hey, the folks.
Welcome back.
Sean Hannity was just on the program,
and he was talking about our mutual friend, Mike Lindell.
But before we get to that, Chris and Albin,
I was going to say that I have to say that Mike Lindel,
no, I'm sorry, not Mike Lindel.
Juan Hannity is someone who,
has been absolutely like a laser on some of the, on some things over the years. I've watched him.
And he's been exonerated. The Russia hoax, for example, nobody was really bothering with that.
He had an entire team of journalists on this constantly. And I just want to say that I can't really, I think I said it when he was on, but I worry about the country.
that we're depending on a few people to do reportage.
Because what is bigger than an attempted coup?
What is bigger than that?
I don't really know.
You had a deep state that we didn't know existed.
We never heard the term before Donald Trump.
And now we know it's real that these people at the top of the FI and CIA,
that they have the power to thwart an election.
election in America. And so when people ask me, you know, oh, why do you think things are so bad,
do you understand what it means if we have an election that's thwarted? You understand that that is
a level of corruption and malfeasance that we've never had in America. I know that your new book is
Donald and the fake news, but if you get to a fourth book, Donald in the Deep State has to be number four.
Well, look, I guess somebody wrote us a letter, and I thought we can do a brief Ask Mataxis before we go.
In hour two, we're going to have Johns Merak, and we'll hear from Angel Laloma.
People know that we've been doing this fundraiser with Food for the Poor, and we want you to hear a little bit more of that story.
So when we come back in hour two, we'll talk directly with Angel or Angel.
But somebody wrote us a letter.
We get all these letters.
You read them all, but I can't read them all in the air.
But this one says, Eric, I hear you and a lot of guests say that if Trump doesn't win this election, the USA is done for, or at least this is how I'm interpreting it.
I find this hard to comprehend and fathom, although I'm not entirely dismissing the idea.
What would you say to conservatives who disagree?
Some say that we survived eight years of Obama, so we can survive four years or eight years of Biden.
Okay.
I do want to talk about that
because I think it's something that folks like Sean Hannity get,
but a lot of people don't get it.
A lot of the never-Trumpers seem to have had this fantasy
and still have this fantasy that we could survive
four years of Hillary in the last case or Biden in this case.
Here's the issue.
Eight years of Obama, in my opinion,
brought us to a place where basically,
civil liberties and rights were eroded, where the deep state got deeper, where the corruption got
deeper, where the government became so divorced from the will of the American people that, for example,
they were willing to thwart an election utterly illegally and unconstitutionally. That's never
happened before. So it's kind of saying like, well, you know, you survive the mumps and the
measles. So like, you know, now you have stage four cancer. Like,
why are you worried?
Like, what's the problem?
And you realize that it is far worse than it was.
In 2008, when Obama was elected, we didn't know what it is that he would do.
What he did was he let, for example, the military, you know, vanish practically.
He made us very weak so that we've had to spend a lot of money under Trump building it up.
He forced Obamacare.
which again is an expansion of government control on a gigantic level, an incomprehensible level of
expansion of the federal government, all these things at some point reach a tipping point.
In other words, we know that's bad, but at some point it gets so bad that if you do not face it
and do an about face from what you see.
If you do not run in the other direction
or do anything you can to go in the other direction,
it's over.
And we're at that point now in America
where, I mean, let's just, let's only look at the Supreme Court.
You say, okay, so what if Hillary had been elected
or what if Biden's elected?
The Supreme Court is on a knife edge right now.
Roberts, who was appointed by George Bush,
has proved to be like a lot of Bush,
Bush and Reagan appointees, not that conservative. If we don't have originalists on the court,
we're going to see things happening that there's nothing we're going to be able to do about it.
The Supreme Court has every right. So if you cared about nothing but the makeup of the Supreme Court,
you would have every reason to know that it is game over for America if we have enough
justices to continue what has been legislation from the bench, a judicial fiat where the Supreme
Court changes America, and they are not elected. So we have to elect presidents who will
appoint justices who are on the side of the Constitution, not on my side, not on your side,
on the side of the Constitution. That's the most important thing. The other thing you could talk
about is China. We've had the Clintons, we had George W. Bush, and then we had Obama play
patty cake with China and allow them to grow to such an extent that they are without any
question the biggest danger on the world stage. They are incredibly powerful. We have allowed them
to get incredibly wealthy, to steal all kinds of technological secrets.
We have companies like Google and so on and so forth that are not patriotic Americans,
and they are very happy to make money helping China oppress their people.
So we have a president willing to confront them.
We have a president who understands that if we don't have real borders and real border enforcement,
again, it's game over for the country.
People are going to come in, they're going to swamp our social systems, and we don't
have the ability to pay for it.
I mean, frankly, I could go on and on and on.
We've simply never been here.
So to compare where we are now to 2008 is lunacy, folks.
I just want to be really clear where we are now, because of eight years of President
Obama, is a different place.
It's a dramatically different place.
And I don't care if you hate Donald Trump.
If you do not vote for him and you allow Joe Biden to get in,
you're allowing the most dramatic leftist elements ever in the history of this country,
govern this country, and it is game over.
When we come back, we'll talk about something more positive.
Hey, folks, what a show we are having today.
Kind of freaky.
Sean Hannity and John Smirak and.
And my goodness, I want to remind you, we are doing, every couple of months, we do a fundraiser with an organization that we have vetted, that we believe in, and that we want desperately to help, which is why we're asking for your help.
So, you know, you probably don't wake up this morning thinking it's in my power to change a child's life forever.
It's kind of a daunting thing.
It's a great opportunity, but it's daunting when you think about it.
I say this because Food for the Poor tells us that Guatemala is the most populous country in Central America.
But think of this, out of the 15 million people who live there, about 60% of all of them live in poverty, folks.
It has one of the highest rates of child malnutrition in the world.
Gosh.
We spoke to Food for the Poor.
spoke to a woman there.
Her name is Marta.
She's a classic example of what we're talking about.
She's a mother in a small Guatemalan village.
And through an interpreter,
she tells us how she has to tell her kids
there's not enough food for them on a particular day.
So this is happening right now.
We can do something about it.
Let's play this quote from Marta.
Let's do that.
I'll give them.
Because I don't have,
you understand.
Okay.
I tell them that today we cannot eat, but another day we will have food.
We need to work in other to have food to put in our plates.
I ask God for help for my children and to give us bread to have each day something to eat.
All right, folks, I know I've mentioned it on this program before.
After World War II, my mom tells me she was like 11, 12 years old.
She'd come home from school.
and my grandmother, who was one of my favorite people in the world, was at the table crying
because she had no food from my mom and my aunt that evening.
This happens around the world.
But what is happening in Guatemala in these countries is far worse than that.
That lasted for a couple of years on and off when my mother was a girl.
But let me tell you, this is happening now.
But the good news is we can do something about it.
A one-time gift of $37 will provide a starving kid in Guatemala with two meals a day for the next six months.
37 American dollars can go that far.
So I want to encourage you, please go to metaxistocot.com.
You click on the banner.
You'll see the list of things that we want to do to thank you for whatever you give.
Or a lot of people, you just want to do it by phone.
I'm going to give you the phone number now.
The phone number, and I will wait until you get a pencil.
844, 863-4673.
That's 844-863, Hope.
844, 863 Hope.
Again, 844, 863, Hope.
If you call right now $37, we'll feed a child two meals a day for six months.
unbelievable. Obviously, we hope you can give more. Some of you have already given a lot more than that.
This is really just a huge serious concern. We work with food for the poor because we know they are the real deal.
So I want to encourage you again. I'll give you the phone number again. 844-863 hope.
If you can go to the website Metaxistocococon.com, all the information is there. Again, 844-863 hope.
God bless you as you give.
