Starting point is 00:00:00 Folks, welcome to the Eric Mattaxas show, sponsored by Legacy Precious Metals. There's never been a better time to invest in precious metals. Visit legacy p.m.investments.com. That's legacy p.m. Investments.com. Welcome to the Eric Metaxus show. I shouldn't tell you this, but Eric hired someone who sounds just like him to host today's show. But since I'm the announcer, they told me, so I'm telling you, don't be foe. The real Eric's in jail.
Starting point is 00:00:37 Hey, Alvin. Yes, sir. I think they're going to arrest President Eisenhower. They're going to haul them away in cuffs. Yeah, they do that with a lot of presidents. Of course, they arrest them because they don't like him. The military industrial complex decides we need to take him down. He's a threat.
Starting point is 00:00:56 Take him down. And so they arrest him. But that's what happens, you know, in Banana Republics, which we've been since, oh, I don't know, 10 minutes ago. How do we even possibly address the, I mean, I have so much I want to talk about, but we have to say, let me say this. Let me say this. My guest in our one today is Sean Spicer. We all remember Spicy. We remember Spice. He was the communications. I never remember the title. The press secretary for President Trump, before Trump's arrest. arrest, and he was taking to Guantanamo Bay, and we don't know what happened to him. But the point is, Sean Spicer's going to be my guest, and we're going to try to break this down.
Starting point is 00:01:46 Sean Spicer has already written, if this is not crazy enough, that I'm not joking, that they're threatening to arrest the man America elected as the leader of the free world. Sean Spicer and I will also discuss a new children's book he's written called The Parrots Go Bananas. Do you see how civilization is ending, folks? Are you putting it all together? That's right. Okay, so in a couple of minutes we got Sean Spicer, to whom we will discuss, with whom we will discuss, the imminent arrest of Donald Trump,
Starting point is 00:02:19 which is so stupid that it's sort of designed to wake up the people who are on the fence to go like, oh, you know what, this doesn't seem right. This seems like methinks the lady doth protest too much. That's to quote Shakespeare. Something looks fishy when you go that far. Even CNN
Starting point is 00:02:42 said that. CNN is like something's a... So we're going to talk about that. All right. Number one. Number two. We're going to talk about where I've been. I've been traveling a lot. Yeah. And that's the fun stuff. And I want to talk about that. I want to mention we have a Socrates in the city event March 30th right here in New York.
Starting point is 00:03:04 with Yonmi Park. She defected from North Korea. Yeah, now it looks like a mistake to come here from North Korea. Yeah, because they don't arrest their presidents there. No. Okay, and then... She might want to go back. It's just, oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:03:19 Oh, gosh. All right, let's start on a positive note. Yes. On a positive note, before we go to our guest, Sean Spicer. and in hour two, I believe we're either going to be, we're running an encore in hour two because some of these shows that we do, we just think that they're so good
Starting point is 00:03:42 that at some point we rerun it because it's just great and we don't want anybody to miss it. So either we're going to be running Chris Buzzkirk today or Tim Gagline, who wrote a book called Toward a More Perfect Union. We don't know yet. But both of those were so great,
Starting point is 00:03:59 I think we have to rerun them. But for our one, it's Sean Spicer. And we're going to drag him off into hour two. Yes. Whether he likes it or not. At least we're going to try to drag him into hour two. But here's what we have to talk about. Today's Monday.
Starting point is 00:04:13 All right. And I do have a lot to talk about. So I'll tell you, the saga. I went last week to North Carolina. I flew into Greensboro, which some places are just, you know, wonderful. And there's parts of North Carolina that is especially wonderful, spent some time in Winston-Salem. But I went there because I'd been invited by Wesleyan Christian Academy. What is Wesleyan Christian Academy, you ask?
Starting point is 00:04:44 Well, I'm here to tell you it's an extraordinary Christian school, K-12, 1,300 students. And I'm not kidding you. There's a lot to this. I'll just, I'll be as brief as I can. But I travel a lot. If you want to know my schedule, go to Ericmataxis.com, and you'll see, I mean, my goodness, I'm going to be in this week. I'm flying down to Naples, Florida, doing something on San Marco Island this weekend. A couple weeks I'm going to be in San Diego for a good Friday service with our friend Greg Denham for a Sunday service in San Diego, Rancho Santa Fe.
Starting point is 00:05:26 I travel a lot, but every experience is different. So I get to Wesleyan Christian Academy, and I say this every time. I do not like speaking to young people. Why? Well, I'll tell you why, because typically they're so young, this is teenagers, high schoolers, right, that they're insecure enough that they don't know if it's okay to laugh. So if you crack a joke, silence. If you're talking to adults, adults get the joke, or if you say, well, that was a joke, they laugh, and they're kind of with you.
Starting point is 00:06:02 Young people, I always dread it because they don't give you feedback. Then, if it's a mandatory chapel, as it was for the high schoolers at Wesleyan Christian Academy, it's even worse. They don't even want to be there. They didn't choose to be there, right? So they're going to slump. They're going to talk to their friends. They're just there. You know, what?
Starting point is 00:06:22 Okay. So my way of dealing with that is always by 10. telling them up front, I hate talking to young people. Sometimes that gets a titter. Usually they're frightened. They don't know what they're going to get. They think it's going to be like a scared straight, you know, Rawae prison kind of talk.
Starting point is 00:06:40 Well, all I can tell you is they were so delightful. It was so encouraging to me that a room full of 400 high schoolers at Wesleyan Christian Academy were obviously listening. and taking seriously what I said and enjoying what I said, I say all this because, you know, there's Christian schools and there's Christian schools, there's Christian colleges and there's Christian colleges. Wesleyan Christian Academy, which I'm trying to remember the exact, the name of the town that they're in. Shame on me for not remembering it, but not far.
Starting point is 00:07:24 from Greensboro in the you know in the Winston towards Winston Salem but my point in saying all this
Starting point is 00:07:34 is that I was so encouraged by the whole school, by the teachers, by the kids, the kids were so pumped
Starting point is 00:07:42 by what I said I spoke on his atheism dead that I'm getting fist bumps from the high schoolers on the way up the aisle to go sign books.
Starting point is 00:07:53 But I want to be clear. That's not normal. Usually teenagers like to slump to hide in their hoodies and look at their friends. They were so not just well-behaved and respectful, but genuinely engaged. And I thought, this really gives me hope for the next generation. And I spoke on his atheism dead, which is a fun book to speak on because the apologetics in it are just so shocking, you know. So it was a delight. And then they told me that they bought copies of his atheism dead for, I think, all of the high school students. So there are 400 students there, and that they're going to discuss it in their classes. And I thought, this is my dream come true.
Starting point is 00:08:36 Because if you get this information in the hands of young people to get out, it's going to change the world. I've got a lot more to talk about. When we come back, I want to talk more about them. And I want to talk about the concerned Moravians. How concerned were they? I spoke to them the next night. That was amazing. Before we go to the break, I want to tell you,
Starting point is 00:09:00 and then we got Sean Spicer coming up. Spicy. Food for the poor. We're doing a campaign with food for the poor. How many people do you think listen to this program, Albin? Oh, gosh. A couple hundred at least, okay? Two, three, five hundred, maybe.
Starting point is 00:09:17 I mean, it's got to be many, many, many, many, many, thousands of people listen to this program every single day. And I say, wouldn't it be great if everybody just gave $5 if you just go text the keyword Eric to 911-99? Just text the keyword Eric to 911-99. On your phone, give $5. We just want everybody to participate. Here's the bad news. I found out that so far, 123 people have donated.
Starting point is 00:09:50 Enough. And I thought, what am I doing wrong? This is about feeding the hungry. We're not asking you to give a million dollars, $5, $10. You can text Eric to 911-999. I will be back to badger you on this subject. You can also go to metaxis talk.com, click on the banner. We'll be right back. Starting point is 00:12:11 Uh-oh. We're going to be back with Sean Spicer. Folks, are you ready for Spicer? Ready. He's very spicy. Yep. And he's written a children's book called The Parrots Go Bananas. And obviously, he's referring to the deep state and mainstream media, trying to arrest the duly elected president of the United States, Donald Trump. So he's going to be back in a minute to talk current events with us. The Parrots go bananas. The Parrots, I think,
Starting point is 00:12:48 really refers to the media. But we got two things, a couple things to say before we go to Sean Spicer. First of all, I want to mention again. We're doing a campaign with food for the poor trying to feed the hungry to rush urgently needed food and clean water to food challenged kids and their families in Guatemala, Honduras, and other areas that always are struggling in every way, but they've been hit by floods and famine more recently. So now, I do want to give a shout out to all of the listeners who have stepped up. 123 of you have donated. That's the great news that there are people moved to do something. Some of you have given a lot. Some of you have given less,
Starting point is 00:13:41 but God knows your heart and he knows what you're able to do. So the point is that everybody participate. But the problem is when you do the math and you realize if 123 people have donated, that means a lot of other people haven't donated anything. And I keep saying, I just want everyone to just give something. So if you aren't one of the 123, the noble few who gave, I mean, so many thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of people listen to this program as a podcast or on Rumble or on radio typically, we want to encourage you, folks, if 123 people have donated, there's at least eight of you that haven't donated yet. I'm pretty sure we have like 145 listeners to the program.
Starting point is 00:14:30 At least. At least. And so if you want to give $5 the price of that latte that you were going to suck down full of sugar that's going to mess with your system, it's going to give you inflammation, diabetes, bad things. Take that $5 and text it. Go to Eric to 9-1999. 911-999 is on your phone, just text the word Eric. It'll open up a page and you can give $5. You can obviously give $10,000.
Starting point is 00:15:04 You can give $10,000. You do what you want. But if everybody who is not already part of the 123, Brave Souls, it would just do that. It would change the lives of a lot of people. It's real. So text Eric to 91999 or go to metaxis talk.com. And at the very top of the page, top, top, top of the page, there's a band. There's also a phone number, but anyway, there's a woman. I want to play the clip just so you understand how real this is to encourage you to participate
Starting point is 00:15:38 if you're not one of the 123. If you've already given, please just accept our thanks. But if you haven't yet, I want to play a clip. Anitara is part of food for the poor, and she talks about how the impact of your donations can literally mean the difference between life and death, Today, so let's play Anita. $144. Rescues of family.
Starting point is 00:16:02 Imagine the relief for a mother, a father who woke up this morning, begging God for a single meal. When they get news that your gift is going to provide them food today, tomorrow, next week, next month, it seems incredible. Well, may I suggest you can be that someone. Now, let's think about this. That what Anitra was talking about was saying that 140, Some people can give that, right?
Starting point is 00:16:29 But again, I'm going to tell you, I don't care what you give, but just please give something. We can't have 123 people giving when we have a vast radio audience. If everybody just would give a teeny bit, five bucks, ten bucks. It's going to make a huge difference. But what she was explaining was what we've said over the weeks, $144, one-time gift, feeds four children or a family of four, for an entire year. That is nuts that food for the pork can stretch your dollars that far. That's what they do.
Starting point is 00:17:04 That's two nutritious meals per day plus clean drinking water for a lifetime. That's if you give $144. If you give $72, that's two kids are fed for a year. It is nuts. I want to encourage you to get your kids involved. And to do this however you want to do it, You can go to Metaxistock.com, click on the banner at the top. Some of you could call right now.
Starting point is 00:17:33 And this is if you're not part of the 123. The 123 you've ever given, you're done. This is talking about the, I would say, 12 or 24 people who have not yet given. Metaxistalkystalk.com, you can give $5, you can give $10, you can give $20,000, you can give $20,000. The number doesn't matter. But participation, this is a big deal. And real quick, too, we have three grand prizes we're going to give away. It doesn't matter the amount that you give.
Starting point is 00:18:03 Then we're going to draw three names from a virtual hat and three. Those three people get books. That's right. And T-shirts and hats and all kinds of stickers and stuff like that. So if you text Eric to 911-99 and you get $5. Yeah, you could win. You could win like $100 worth of product. Boy, will you feel guilty then.
Starting point is 00:18:19 But I'm not kidding. This is really important that everybody participate. So please, folks, I don't know how to add. ask, but when I saw how many people had given, I thought, we've got to get the word out. We've got to tell you it's not about giving a big gift. It's not about thinking somebody else can give a big gift. Just if everybody would just do their little thing. Yeah, and there's a phone number too, Eric, right?
Starting point is 00:18:36 844-863, hope. 844-863 hope. 844-863 hope. 8-4-4-863 hope or text the word Eric, E-R-I-C to 911-99. I've got to tell you, Remember I told you that I was in I was at Wesleyan Christian Academy in North Carolina, right? I spoke on his atheism dead.
Starting point is 00:19:03 I spoke on biblical archaeology, and the kids were pumped, and nothing encourages me more when young people, I'm telling you, I'm not kidding you. That's like I dread speaking to young people. When I get a positive response for young people, I think this is a gift from God to encourage me to see what God is doing
Starting point is 00:19:19 in places like Wesleyan Christian Academy. because they're not all like this, kids, ladies and gentlemen. So anyway, I always mention that one of our sponsors is the Israel Ministry of Tourism. You can go to holyland.israel.comal. Holyland. dot Israel. Travel, because when I talk about my book, it is so exciting. It is so exciting that it makes me want to go to Israel.
Starting point is 00:19:48 I'm going next year. We don't have the details. Don't email us yet. When we get the details, you'll be the first to know, but I'm going next year, 2024. I'm going to Israel for sure, and you should go if you can. All right, I got to talk about the other thing that happened when I was in North Carolina. The next night I spoke at a thing called the Concerned Moravians. How concerned were they?
Starting point is 00:20:14 Very concerned, because the Moravians are this amazing denomination, half of which has gone totally woke. and Looney. And I spoke for them in, what's the name, Bethabara, Bethabara. 1753, the Moravians have been there since then. It was amazing. It was encouraging. I ate a Butterburger for dinner. It was unbelievable, the concerned Moravians, heroes. And then, of course, I flew home and went up to Danbury, Connecticut. I told some of you, my mom had a fall. I appreciate your prayers for that. These things are tough on families. It's been tough on us. But yesterday, Suzanne and I went to a place where I preached a few times in Bethel, Connecticut.
Starting point is 00:20:59 It's a church called His Vineyard in Bethel, Connecticut on Vale Road. And I thought to myself, there are very, very, very few places where you feel the presence of God so dramatically. There's no magic. There's no light shows. There's no skinny jeans. These are humble people of God. but you can't fake the presence of God. You cannot fake the anointing of God.
Starting point is 00:21:25 I want to tell you, his vineyard in Bethel. Ann and I were there with you. That's how, oh my gosh, you were there. Keith Jinta was there who's been on this program. Amanda Grace was there. Amanda Grace and her husband. But that place, if you want, it's like Asbury, you want to feel the presence of God. His vineyard in Bethel, Connecticut, Vail Road.
Starting point is 00:21:46 I'm telling you, don't expect anything except the presence. of God. We're going to be right back with Spicy. Before we get to that, I want to remind you this week coming up, we got John Smirak, we got Naomi Wolf. It's exciting. We're going to be talking about the situation with the President, with President Trump. I believe he was elected by the American people. Looks that way, yeah. To the White House. Yeah, unless I'm just imagining that. But there are people that are so evil and so desperate. But, you know, I think they're going to be hoist by their own Petard to quote the Bard a second time in one show. I think they're going to be in big trouble.
Starting point is 00:22:26 All right, before we go to the break, we got Sean Spicer coming up next talking about all this stuff. I want to remind you, folks, food for the poor, we really hope that everybody can participate. It will mean everything. If everybody would do the tiniest bit, it doesn't matter. text Eric to 911-999. Lives are at stake. Your little bit can make the difference. Thank you. Tell me why Relief Factor is so successful at lowering or eliminating pain. I'm often asked that question just the other night. I was asked that question. Well, the owners of Relief Factor tell me they believe our bodies were designed to heal. That's right, designed to heal. And I agree with them.
Starting point is 00:23:25 and the doctors who formulated relief factor for them selected the four best ingredients, yes, 100% drug-free ingredients, and each one of them helps your body deal with inflammation. Each of the four ingredients deals with inflammation from a different metabolic pathway. That's the point. So approaching from four different angles may be why so many people find such wonderful relief. If you've got back pain, shoulder, neck, hip, knee, or foot pain from exercise or just getting older, You should order the three-week quick start discounted to only 1995 to see if it'll work for you. It has worked for about 70% of the half a million people who've tried it and have ordered more on one of them.
Starting point is 00:24:05 Go to Relieffactor.com or call 800 for Relief to find out about this offer. Feel the difference. Hey there, folks. Today we are partnering with food for the poor to provide urgently needed food to some of the most impoverished countries in our hemisphere. because of interrupted planting cycles, rising food prices, and the lingering impact of COVID, the list of families unable to feed their children grows longer by the day. Your one-time gift of $144 provides a family of four with food for a year.
Starting point is 00:24:45 That's two meals a day for the next year for a family who struggle to get even a handful of rice or enough corn for tortilla. Knowing your gift will never have more impact than right now, would you rescue one family, three families, or even 10 families by going to Metaxistok.com and click on the red Send Food banner. Hope 844-8663 Hope. 844-863 Hope. God bless you.
Starting point is 00:25:38 Folks, you know how excited I am to be talking to Sean Spicer. Not to be confused with the other Sean Spicer. This is Sean M. Spicer. He's got a show on at Newsmax every night at 5 p.m. some of you know him that way some of you know him as the senior communications person in the Trump White House I don't know how you know him but I know you know him and I'm thrilled to know him and I'm thrilled to have him as my guest Sean Spicer welcome always a pleasure to be with you Eric thank you it's some people just make me happy you just make me happy I see your face now we've got a lot to talk about here you have a book out a brand new business
Starting point is 00:26:24 book, a kid's book called The Parrots Go Bananas. And I believe the parrots, we're talking about the chattering classes, the mainstream media, the blogosphere. They go bananas because they know Trump is going to have another term. Is that what the children's book is about? Look, that's definitely the nut of it. It's about fake news is what it comes down to. It's the parents basically are part of the folks that go after these two really good individuals, Asher and Bongo, who are just playing a game. They accuse them of cheating. I, you know, it's for kids four to 12, so we don't get into the heavy stuff. Okay, I got to be clear.
Starting point is 00:27:07 Ladies and gentlemen, I was joking. I have joking as I know. I know you know, but just in case anybody's going to get confused, I'm always half joking. But the point is, because I want to talk to you about the preposterous, dare I say, satanic corruption that goes that that's going on right now with with the rumors of of arresting our president. It's so it's so preposterous. But we're living in crazy times and I have to deal with it by joking. But your book for kids, the parents go bananas, really does deal with actual issues.
Starting point is 00:27:41 So talk about that before we get into the news of the day. Yeah, look, I got, I have two 12-year-old kids. And I know what it's like for kids to pile on. Something I talked to them is they help me write the book. I partnered with BraveBooks. You can get it at BraveBooks.com. And the idea is, if you think about a Nick Sandman type situation, you remember that he was from Covington Catholic, these kids in the book, these two characters get accused of cheating.
Starting point is 00:28:06 Everybody piles on and they're sitting there saying, what do you mean? You guys know us. We're good individuals. We went to this game and we didn't do anything wrong. They proved themselves innocent. But at the end of the day, they're trying to teach people about why did you jump to conclusions, Why didn't you take our word on it? And I think for a lot of kids, they either are the victims who have been accused of something, maybe.
Starting point is 00:28:32 My son came home to me one day and said, the teacher said, I did this and I didn't do it. And I said, okay, well, let's break it down. And then another instance, I've heard them both talk about instances where kids have piled on to other kids. And so a lot of kids can relate to this. And so this is what's happening in society these days. We find a bad person. Everybody piles on and then, oh, guess what happens? Six months, 12 months, two years later, oh, guess what?
Starting point is 00:28:59 You didn't spread misinformation. You weren't hypocritical for maybe assuming that the Wuhan Lab, which is a level four, I mean, silly things like that. Maybe you weren't such a bad person. And I think the idea is to start young, have something that parents can feel comfortable with their kids. And so I wanted to, I love what Brave Books has been doing. and I wanted to partner with them. And they asked me what subjects did I think I knew well?
Starting point is 00:29:27 I was like, well, fake news is one I'm very familiar with. Most of us, I mean, just to be clear how we're living in a new time, in a new era, in all of our lives, 10 years ago, less than 10 years ago, we would have ourselves batted away the idea of fake news. But we've all lived through this together, where we've done. We've seen every single institution that we trusted just go down the tubes. So when the media tells you something, if you have a brain, you're hostile to the idea before you're friendly to it. You just say they have lied innumerable times on so many things. And we've also seen the way they operate.
Starting point is 00:30:15 It's kind of like schoolyard bullies. They kind of gather and they spread rumors or it's like mean girls. It's really childish. It's unworthy of a great nation like America. And so we need to educate our kids about this, not just because it happens in the schoolyard with immature kids, but it's happening in the wider culture. So BraveBooks.com. They're putting out a lot of children's books along these lines. But this one by our friend, Sean Spicer, the parrots go bananas.
Starting point is 00:30:47 The parrots go bananas. One quick selfless plug here. or selfish plug is if you go during the month of March, you can actually get the book for a dollar, which in the Biden economy is the best deal going. Yeah, and they've got a whole subscription model that your kids can get. I know I'm constantly looking over my son and daughter's shoulder
Starting point is 00:31:07 to see what they're watching and reading. The nice thing is you never have to worry about that with BraveBooks. And so if you go to BraveBooks.com for the month of March, you can get the book for a buck. And I love the idea of getting parents, introduced to something that I don't have to walk into the room and go, okay, let me go read that because I need to know if there's anything inappropriate and brave ensures that it's all Christian, it's all patriotic. And look, if you look at the illustrations, I didn't have anything to do with that,
Starting point is 00:31:37 but they are very well done. I got to say, they have nailed. I can't believe it. Starting point is 00:33:44 And we're going to drag him over into hour two because we've got a lot more to talk about. But let me ask you, Sean, the news that was coming out of the last couple of days sounds like a waking nightmare, sounds like a Twilight Zone episode that some rogue prosecutor in the United States of America
Starting point is 00:34:06 is talking about arresting the man elected president I believe twice, one that we would all agree on, except for maybe Hillary Clinton. But I got to tell you, that is so crazy, and it should chill everyone that the deep state, the enemies of we the people, because that's what it is. They see Donald Trump as such an unbelievable threat,
Starting point is 00:34:36 and they should, to their power, that they would be willing to do this. But what do you make of it? because I think a lot of us, when we see things like the raid on Mar-a-Lago, when we see things like the raid on Roger Stone's home, you think, are they crazy? Like, do they not understand what this looks like to your average American? So let me kind of walk through a couple things. I keep hearing people talk about, you know, I can't believe there's doing this to a former president.
Starting point is 00:35:03 And when I keep thinking about it is the following. Like, Donald Trump has means and access to. a ton of money and resources and talent to help him. How many people don't, right? That's number one. Number two, for the folks that are watching you right now, they've got to have a friend or a colleague or a family member that hates Donald Trump. Everybody does.
Starting point is 00:35:30 And just stop them when they do. And say to them the following. The charges that Trump potentially is being brought up on are from 2015, the statute of limitations have expired. They are a misdemeanor from eight years ago that they are trying to couple with something else allegedly campaign finance violations for a federal office at the state level,
Starting point is 00:35:54 again from eight years ago, and that had been passed on by the federal election commission and the feds. And you tell me that that doesn't sound like weaponizing our justice system. And because the problem is is that I look at this and I say to myself, if you're sitting at home right now,
Starting point is 00:36:14 just think about what happens to the average person who doesn't have the means and access that somebody like President Trump has. And I think he says this all the time. They're coming after me because, you know, but you're next. And he's right. I just, I sit back and I say to myself,
Starting point is 00:36:29 no matter how much you hate Trump, because there's so many people out there, or he's getting what he deserves. And I'm going, really, this is from 2015. It's a ledger dispute. They're basically saying that when he, He booked this in his company as a legal service that was misallocating it, which is a misdemeanor in the state of New York. But the same DA has taken criminal charges.
Starting point is 00:36:53 You can violently go out and hurt somebody in the city of New York. He has taken those felony charges and brought them down to misdemeanor charges. And yet he's going back eight years to a statute that is expired and saying that we're going to re-up it, which is illegal. Okay, but you're giving us the nuts and bolts the legal side of how preposterous this is. I think most of us would assume this anyway that there's something has happened in America where we can call it the left, but it's really the anti-American left. This is not good liberals like Alan Dershowitz or Naomi Wolf or whoever you want to mention. People that love America, that love truth and justice and the American way. No, these are people that are at war with the freedoms and the ordered liberty for which patriots have died through the centuries.
Starting point is 00:37:50 They are at war with America. And they have taken control of certain institutions, much of it, I guess, backed by George Soros, who isn't actually Satan, but they're good friends. And the fact of the matter is this is happening in America. and if we don't stand against it and recognize it for what it is, it's the abrogation of America, the founder's vision of justice for all. When it happens on this level, I kind of,
Starting point is 00:38:20 what I find funny, Sean, is it's sort of like, you know, it's like watching an old wildlife film or something, and these two animals are battling it out. And the level of desperation has just gone code red, that they would do this, shows that they don't care if they burn down the house.
Starting point is 00:38:39 They just cannot bear the idea that Trump might be the next president. So they will do the kind of thing that it's just impossible for us to comprehend that anyone would do, but we're kind of there. In other words, they've done a number of these sorts of things and they have inured or they're trying to inure the American public to increasingly extreme actions. So when they went after our friend Brandon Strock, FBI, smashing down his door, arresting him, treating him like a thug. It happened to so many people, as you said, who don't have the means that Donald Trump does. But, but, Eric, I guess the reason that I enumerated the facts and the law as a non-lawyer is because what the left tries to do is, is when they tell their story and weave this narrative.
Starting point is 00:39:33 narrative. They overlook those because they don't want you to know. So they want people to turn on the Today Show and Good Morning America and say, the bad guy, we got him. We finally got them. What they don't want you to know is we got them on a law that doesn't exist anymore. And the point that I'm making is that you, when I want to have this discussion with people, I want them to say to understand that you might hate Donald Trump, but what they are doing to get him, is to literally throw out all of the laws of the United States and to basically say that the means justify the ends. There you go. And therefore, if they go after a former president, then guess what? When they come hunting for you and they will, then don't complain.
Starting point is 00:40:20 Right. Because you have failed to stand up for what is good and right. And my point is that people need to go out and have the facts to argue because when you say to somebody, when they say, oh, well, he paid off this person, that may or may not be true. We are a country of laws, and the law says that that charge had to have been filed within X number of years. That is long since gone.
Starting point is 00:40:41 You can't go back and say, well, I don't like it. John, this is the point is that what you're saying, and this is the breakdown of America, is when people talk about, well, it's poetic justice. He got what's coming down. Ladies and gentlemen, shame on you. Shame on you. If you get to live in a country like this and your knowledge of our laws in our system is so sloppy that you don't understand that poetic justice, is zero justice. This is a nation of laws. We're going to be back with Sean Spicer, the beginning of
Starting point is 00:41:09 hour two. Stick around. We'll be right back. Uh-oh. Before we get back to Spicer, yeah. Sean Spicer coming right back. Before that, we're going to arrest him and drag him into hour two. We're going to arrest him. Listen, the deep state. It's going to rest all of us pretty soon, ladies and gentlemen. Get ready. Well, we got a couple things we want to announce. First of all, I'm wondering, Albin. And there's no way of us knowing. We don't know. But in the first two segments before we had Sean Spicer on,
Starting point is 00:42:01 I was saying that we'd only had 123 people of our scores of thousands of people who listened to this program. It could be, you know, hundreds of thousands on some point. Only 123 had donated to Food for the Poor despite our pleas. And so I want to encourage you, folks, don't sit on the fence, do a little bit. It doesn't matter what you do. And I mean this sincerely. If you text $5, it will, believe me, food for the pork can stretch every dollar very, very far. So you text the word Eric to 911-999 to feed hungry children.
Starting point is 00:42:40 So I don't know how many of you have done this in the last couple of segments or during the break. But I want to encourage everybody, please, to do this. We really do need your help. So just text Eric to 91999 or even easier. Go to metaxis talk.com. You'll see the banner at the top, top, top of the page. Whatever you give, $144, if you can give that much, feeds an entire family for an entire year plus drinking water.

If you want to go to that, go to Socratesandcity.com. And of course, we're doing an event with Michael Medved in Seattle, April 28th. Oh, my gosh. We should also mention this month only.

If you need vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, magnesium, melatonin, steveo. whatever it is that you take, which you should be taking, you want to get it from a company that's not just a great company, but that shares your values that gives 50% of their profits to third world missions. Nutrametics.com.
Starting point is 00:44:05 How do you spell it? N-U-T-R-A-M-E-D-I-X.com. But why are we mentioning it right now? Because this month only 25% off if you use the code, Eric. That's this month only I would take advantage of it. Neutrametics.com. and I got to mention my store.com. I actually had to cancel my coffee order.
Starting point is 00:44:27 We ordered so much coffee that I said to myself, whoa, whoa, whoa, this coffee is so amazing, folks. But I mean, I reordered, but I had to stop it for a second because it's so, I mean, I don't know how to tell you, but Mike Lindell is a friend. Everything he sells at my store.com, at MyPillow.com. We stand behind it.
Starting point is 00:44:53 And we want to ask you to support those guys. But the coffee is amazing. I said to my parents, because I was there this weekend, like, do you like this coffee? Oh, we love it. You know, believe me, they're not telling me anything to make me feel good. Anne and I, what are some love that, LaVanza or something like that? I forget, it's supposed to be big over in Europe.
Starting point is 00:45:14 Yeah. We had it when you were over there. I said, this is nowhere near how could is Mike Lindel's And it supports the communists. It does. You want to support Mike Lindell? Mike Lindell, Eric. You go to my store.com.

We're doing a campaign with them. We love you. we praise God for you folks out there who listen to this program when I meet you I get tears on my eyes
