Here comes Mr. Juggerlug himself, Eric Ma, Texas. Hey there, folks.
Starting point is 00:00:48 Have you heard of the film The Firing Squad? Have you heard of it? Well, now you've heard of it. And now you're going to see it because I've got the director as my guest right now. Tim Chay, welcome back. Welcome back, Eric. Good singing. We saw each other in Nashville at the NRB.
Starting point is 00:01:08 I was going to say. say we saw each other there and they said it wouldn't last and look here we are again it's unbelievable so the film is called the firing squad and it is coming out this weekend so people need to check it out folks it's a great film so like you want to check it out now
Starting point is 00:01:23 Timothy Che I just want to say my notes on you now I know you're the director of this great film and we're here to talk about the film and to promote the film which is a great film you can go to firing squad film dot com firing squad film But in my notes, it says that before you became the director of this film, it says, you were a former Harvard-educated atheist who found Christ in his 30s.
Starting point is 00:01:49 Now, I just want to be real clear. As a writer, an Yale-educated English major, this doesn't make any sense. You're not a former Harvard-educated atheist, because that would mean that you're no longer Harvard-educated. You're you're this is this is Timothy Chey is a Harvard educated former atheist I just want to be very clear
Starting point is 00:02:13 going forward going forward you're still Harvard educated but you're no longer an atheist you're no longer an atheist so I I just want to be very clear that I just offer that for free these are just my you know my proofreading my proofreading stuff so you were an atheist
Starting point is 00:02:30 though we're joking around you were an atheist you went to Harvard What did you study at Harvard? I did an MBA, and I did a law degree at Boston University. So I did a JD MBA. Okay, so you, but you were an atheist, and what happened in your life where you saw the light and you came to your senses? It's a long story, but the short answer is I was practicing law, but I had a very bad gambling problem. And so I got fired from my law firm, Eric.
Starting point is 00:03:02 going to Vegas too much. And I was still an atheist. And then I went to Hollywood. And I went to USC film school as an undergrad. So I went and I did a film for Universal. And after that, I gambled away my entire director's salary in one night of blackjack. And this was in the Philippines, which is called the Party Capital of Asia. And I went back to my hotel room about to commit suicide.
Starting point is 00:03:30 and I reached for a Gideon's Bible. And I just read the Bible. It's a good thing you weren't saying in a Marriott. Why? Oh, yeah. They have the Book of Mormon. Yeah. But they also have the Bible, though.
Starting point is 00:03:47 Would you repeat that sentence before you said you reached for a Gideon's Bible? You said you were going back to your book? Because we lost some of that. It got chopped up. So just start again that I was going back to my husband. No, no, no, it's our fault. Go ahead. It's as you say, I was going back to my hotel and, you know, whatever. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Oh, yeah, I went back to my hotel in Manila, Philippines, a broken guy. I just lost all of my salary on one night of blackjack. And I was at Witson about, you know, thinking seriously about suicide. And I reached for Gideon's Bible, open the front of the Bible, and I accepted Jesus just on the questions in the front. I didn't read the Bible itself. I just, where are you from? Where are you going to go when you die? Do you believe Jesus' son of God?
Starting point is 00:04:29 All of this. and I got on my knees, I accepted Jesus, and that was 24 years ago and never looked back. So you just open up the drawer in the hotel and you reach Gideon's Bible. I was thinking it's a good thing you weren't saying in a Marriott because you could have hit the Book of Mormon. It's very confusing. Let's just leave it at that. But so this is kind of, it's a happy, what a happy, beautiful thing. And so you go on to create movies and now you've directed this film.
Starting point is 00:04:56 I'm really excited about this film. I've interviewed you about it before. Tell my audience, because I hope people hear this and they will see this film. Tell my audience about the film, The Firing Squad. Sure, Eric. It's based on a true story of three Christian prisoners who face execution, and they win the entire prison camp to Christ. And they did it in a stunning way, stunning conclusion.
Starting point is 00:05:21 What year? This is a true story. True story, Eric. And when did this story, when did this actually happen? The execution happened in 2000. 2015 in Indonesia at the Kirkokin prison in 2015. Yeah, just nine years ago. But it's, I mean, this is amazing.
Starting point is 00:05:42 How did this story come to your attention? It was, believe it or not, Eric, it was through CNN Asia. Is that pretty cool or what? It didn't come through Fox News, which usually it should come from. Oh, I don't know. I think he meant to say Newsmax, but go ahead. Newsmax. Okay.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Yeah. Newsmax or TVN. Yeah. But it came through CNN Asia, and the reporter said, I'm outside the prison. It was a Kubokan prison near Bali in Indonesia. And they said they were calm. Bob, I think was the anchor because they have a savior and gives them peace. When I saw that on CNN Asia, I knew they were Christians.
Starting point is 00:06:24 I knew that this was a huge story that had to bust. It did not, though, in the United States, unfortunately. Okay, now I want to be clear. This is why I want people to see this film. It's starring my friend Kevin Sorbo, also Cuba Gooding Jr. So these are big stars. It's a big deal film. Say the story again of what this is about because this is one of these things.
Starting point is 00:06:49 This is real. This actually happened. So the story should have been made into a film. I'm very grateful to you and those who made it happen. but the firing squad, the film, tells a true story. So tell us again this true story because it's kind of amazing. Oh, sure. And so these guys were drug dealers, Eric, and they brought in kilos of cocaine to go to China.
Starting point is 00:07:15 And they went via Indonesia, which was a big mistake. And so there were more than three of them. And so the fifth guy's parent, father, by mistake, alerted the authorities. Because they had a really good plan of going funneling from Australia through Indonesia to China. This is cocaine. And so they got caught at the airport. And they all went to the Kerboken prison. And there, inside the prison, a pastor led them to Jesus.
Starting point is 00:07:45 And I've got to tell you something fascinating, Eric. They came from all different ethnicities, religions. They were Nigerian, Asian, Australian, American. They all came to Jesus through this one pastor. And then they all went out singing Amazing Grace. That's not the stunning conclusion. But they all went out singing Amazing Grace, stunned the entire prison, and they want everybody to Jesus.
Starting point is 00:08:09 They want everybody to Jesus. I mean, wow, wow, wow, wow. It's just an amazing story. The firing squad, folks, is the name of the film. Before we get too far, how can people see the film? Okay, it's going to be in theaters nationwide. I think over a thousand theaters starting Thursday sneak previews and then Friday, five showings a day. Okay, folks.
Starting point is 00:08:36 You got to support this film, but more than that, you got to thank God for this film. What an extraordinary thing. Now, you said they led most of the prison to faith in Jesus? You know, there were several reporters that said, and I don't want to give away. the ending, but they won the entire prison camp to Christ, and they themselves got led to Christ.
Starting point is 00:09:03 And maybe it was because of the prison conditions that they had no other alternative, but they could have found other religions. They could have read the Buddhist meditations, the Hindu Vedas, the Bagu Bhaji Makita, the Koran, but they all chose the Bible.
Starting point is 00:09:18 What could be more depressing? Let me just say, this is an amazing story. Folks, this is a true story. This is a true story. And I'm just thrilled, Tim Chee, that you made this film. I'm thrilled that you got Cuba Gooding Jr. and Kevin Sorboe and all the other actors. It's just a big deal. So I want to encourage anybody listening. Go to firing squadfilm.com. Obviously, if you put in firing squad film, you can see the trailer. Tim Chee, God bless you. And I pray the Lord gives this great success. Thank you. Thanks, Eric. And just like you know, Cuba getting Jr. recommitted his life to Jesus on the set.

Starting point is 00:12:27 This year, 2024, marks the 25th anniversary for Sonic Flood. They're celebrating the milestone with a tour, the One Nation Under God tour. Now, if you haven't heard of Sonic Flood, let me simply say, hold on, because I'd like to tell you about it. My guest right now is Rick Heil. Rick, welcome. Hey, you said that right. Did I say it? It's good to see you, Eric.
Starting point is 00:12:54 I said Rick, Heil correctly. How can people get that wrong? What do they say? Hail? Heal. No, I'm, you know, I'm German, so I know how to say Heil. Rick Heil. Rick Heil.
Starting point is 00:13:08 Well, welcome to the program. Congratulations on 25. years of Sonic Flood. Wow. Fantastic. Thank you so much. It's good to be here with you, Eric. Well, One Nation Under God is the name of the tour, and I want to talk to you about that. But I want to get your story of, I mean, when I was reading your story, I said, I want my audience to hear this, because a lot of people go through tough stuff. And you've been through some tough stuff in your life, starting when you were 11 years old. I just, I'm amazed at how, God intervenes in people's lives, how he lets us go through tough stuff, but there are stories of redemption and healing and on and on and on. So your story, I mean, you've been with Sonic Flood for how many years? Not all 25, right? Like, it's close. Yeah, I've been with them 25 years. Oh, you have? Yes, sir. All right. So the, I guess my question is just when you were 11, what happened? Because
Starting point is 00:14:08 Is this story, you know, a lot of times people, they're aware of you, they're aware of sonic flood, they know about the music and the worship, but they don't know the backstory and how I think, you know, it's happened to me. People sort of assume like everything's fine, you know, they don't have no idea of how you've suffered or what you've been through or your journey. So why don't we start with when you were 11 years old? Yeah, when I was 11, I was diagnosed with a disease called Crohn's disease, which is inflammation of the intestines. And at the time, they didn't know a whole lot about it. But if you turn on TV now, it's like every other commercial is about some drug that they're using to combat either colitis or Crohn's. I had a lot of my intestines removed through
Starting point is 00:14:57 several resections. And I spent a lot of time in the hospital being fed intravenously or through a those two predigested food. I don't know who digest food for other people, but if you do, God bless you. It's a ministry. Those people want to keep it quiet. They want to keep – they don't want you to know, but it's a ministry, yeah. I just want to say, I'm digesting food right now, but it's not for other people. I'm selfish that way.
Starting point is 00:15:24 I'm very selfish. I only – so far as far as I know, I've only digested food for myself, but you – we're joking around, but you – this is serious. I mean, you were unable to digest food. At this young age, you're having to take in pre-digested food to stay alive. Yeah, they did everything they could to keep me alive. I know that God's hand was on my life for a long time. I got very depressed when I got into my teenage years and I really wanted to die.
Starting point is 00:15:53 I thought about killing myself several times. And then I was laying on my bed being depressed and the Lord said, I will always take care of you. And it was the one time that I've heard his still small voice very clearly. And he's been faithful my whole life. Isn't that amazing? I'm fascinated by the miraculous and people say they hear from God because some people are, they're sloppy about that or they'll say God said.
Starting point is 00:16:23 And they don't make it clear. Did you hear an audible voice? Did he speak to you in a way that you knew the words, but it wasn't audible? was it just an impression, but you, you just said, I mean, you, you, you, you get these words from the Lord. How old were you, Rick, at that time? I was about 15. And, you know, at that time in a person's life, they're going through a lot of changes. And I was, had been dealing with this illness for several years. And it seemed like I was more, more troubled than I was worth. And I just wanted to stop. And the Lord clearly said, I will always take care of you. And it's not like it was
Starting point is 00:17:10 reverbed round in the room. It was just right here in my heart, you know. So it was it was what I needed at the time to keep going. It's amazing, though, because I think that, you know, when you say that you were, you wanted to die, you thought you were too much trouble. I'll bet you that there are people listening right now who feel like they're losers, they're worthless or whatever. And the enemy is very real, folks. We have a satanic enemy. He hates God more than he hates you. He hates you because he hates God. And he wants to plant these dark thoughts. And God is at war with those dark evil thoughts that want to tell you you're worth nothing. That's Satan's voice.
Starting point is 00:18:02 But the idea that, you know, here you are as a 15-year-old, Rick, and you're having these negative thoughts feeling worth, and that God speaks this to you, you know, I hope whoever's listening that you don't need to hear from God in that way, that you can just hear us talking about it right now, that God loves you in a way you can't comprehend, and that the tiniest bit of faithfulness that you have, just to say, I agree with you, God.
Starting point is 00:18:29 I agree with you that you love me. Anyway, so, but it's interesting how you're talking, Rick, how God speaks this to you, and you cling to this, because you don't stop suffering. You continue going on. You have like almost no intestine at this point, correct? I've had several resections where they take the intestine apart, cut out the bad part and stick it back together.
Starting point is 00:18:56 I've had about five or six resections, and I only have three feet of intestines and my colon left. So God's doing a miracle every day so that I can run around and sing and give praise to him with three feet of intestines. I remember one time I was going in for a test at Johns Hopkins, and the doctor said, there's no way this man has only three feet of intestines. And he did the colonoscopy, which is kind of gross. And it's like, yep, that took about two minutes. Wow. That's the only advantage of having three feet of intestines is the colonoscopies are quick.
Starting point is 00:19:41 That is the only advantage. But so with three feet of intestines, you're able to sing around the world. I've got all the intestines you could ask for, and I don't get to sing. around the world. So, you know, God's ways are not our ways. He allowed you to go through this. But, I mean, there's more to your story. You, even before you got involved with Sonic Flood, tell that story, because that's kind of amazing. You're driving at 70 miles an hour. How did that happen? Yeah. At the time, I was playing in a different Christian band, and, you know, we'd been touring for a long time. And we got back home at midnight, as we usually do. And somebody gave me a pre-release CD.
Starting point is 00:20:21 of the first album that Sonic Flood put together and they said, well, we're looking for a bass player and a drummer. And, you know, if you're interested or whatever, I was like, I don't know, I'll listen to it. And I was going to see my girlfriend, my wife now, who lives in Missouri from Nashville. And I was driving about 60 miles an hour, falling asleep, and flipped my truck going about 60 miles an hour.
Starting point is 00:20:48 and it was a Bronco 2. They're very top heavy. And I got down into the median. It caught. It flipped over several times, glass everywhere. The people behind me thought I was dead. I crawled out. The first thing I saw was the CD, the pre-release CD that I'd been listening to in the grass with glass on it.
Starting point is 00:21:11 I was like, okay, God's trying to get my attention. So I got in touch with the people that put the album together and fell in love with the worship. and went from making a salary in a bus into a van making nothing. I mean, honestly, it sounds like a joke. Like, I guess God was trying to get my attention. I don't know that you had to flip a truck and almost die. But whatever it happened, God allows stuff. You survived that.
Starting point is 00:21:41 It is amazing. I guess you have to have a sense now. You know, okay, we have 25 years with Sonic Flood. but Rick, you have to have a sense that God's hand is on your life. I don't know how else you can read what we're talking about. Yeah, well, praise the Lord. Because without him, I would have been dead a long time ago. I've seen the way God's hand has been on my life, you know,
Starting point is 00:22:09 with me being able to marry somebody that encourages my faith with him, my faith walk. C.C. She works for the American Center for Law. on justice. She's amazing. But she was able to speak life into me whenever I start to feel down or get trapped in, you know, feeling physically ill or whatever it is. You know, she's like, she's a woman of faith and she's strong. And so God has put people in my life that love him and I want to encourage me. I want to talk to you more about Sonic Flood and the tour. Folks, you want to

Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to remind you that I'm talking to Rick Heil.
Starting point is 00:25:34 Sonic Flood is the name of the band 25 years to celebrate. They're doing a 25th anniversary. tour. What a coincidence since this is their 25th anniversary. You can go to sonic flood.com. And as part of that tour, Rick Heil tells me that we're going to be working together. I forgot about that piece of it. You and I, Rick, are going to be working together. You with three feet of intestines and me with more intestines than I care to mention casually on a family program. Just want to be clear. I just want to be clear. I'm not going to talk about that right now. But the fact of the matter is we're going to be working together in Mesquite, Texas.
Starting point is 00:26:11 It's something to do with the Cowboy Church, and they've booked us to work together. Are you going to let me sing a duet with you? Or what are we going to get to do together? I love to sing. But with all these intestines, they're just not interested in me. Well, I think we're supposed to be trading places. I'm going to talk about the health of the nation and where we're at in our trajectory is about to follow, you know. And you're going to be singing.
Starting point is 00:26:39 And I'm going to sing, where, oh, where are you tonight? Why will you leave me here all alone? Come on. You got it. I searched the world over. And I thought I found true love. You met another. And you was gone.
Starting point is 00:26:54 I'm going to sing that in front of the whole in the whole group at Mesquita, Texas, the Cowboy Church. Now, I listen. I'm not kidding. You're in Nashville. But oftentimes when I have been. been a speaker in Nashville. I have begun, you know, before I get to the sermonizing, I just can't, I just can't resist, you know, I just can't resist. It's a terrible thing. But I guess I'll have to resist or they'll drag me off. But so this is going to be, this is part of the tour that
Starting point is 00:27:24 you all are doing. So obviously, I'm just going to be with you October 19th in Meskey, Texas. Folks, if you want to find out about it, you can go to Eric Mataxis.com. All of my speaking dates are there. And of course, SonicFludd.com. So, uh, let's, let's, Let's talk about this. Now, you play bass and guitar and guitar, I mean bass guitar and regular guitar or just bass? I started, I found my dad's bass in the attic and I love bass. But when I started singing back in 2000 for the group, I was just like, I can't do both. So I'll play a little bit of rhythm guitar every once in a while, but mostly focus on connecting, you know, connecting with God,
Starting point is 00:28:06 connecting with the people there. And that's what I do. But the point is you know how to play guitar if needed. Oh, yeah. You know? Against all the guitars sitting around. Right, right. Okay, so you, so 25 years, you know, that's one of those things where you have to look back.
Starting point is 00:28:27 So, first of all, I'm sure you're shocked that it's suddenly 25 years. But what's that been like? I mean, you started out pretty small and a little van. and it's grown pretty dramatically. Yeah, it really cranked up fast. And, you know, looking back, it's kind of been just a blur. Because you're aware of being on the road, it just seems to it just turns into a blanket of experience. And, you know, there's been highlights, obviously, and the greatest highlight for us,
Starting point is 00:29:05 us, I think, is being able to bring people into presence of the Lord, see what God does that night. You know, it's always unique. But I get to share my testimony of how God has sustained my life and changed my life and healed me and given me abundant life through him. And then we just open up the front of the stage for people to come forward and we leave the stage and we lay hands on people and pray for them. and we expect God to do great things, and he's a God of miracles, and he's a great physician, and we've seen some incredible things that God has done.
Starting point is 00:29:45 So you don't actually believe God is healing and doing stuff like that today, do you? Oh, you need to spend more time with John McCarthy. We're going to straighten you right out, pal. That's straighten you right out. That's kind of fit. I grew up in the Church of Christ, which says God doesn't do miracles anymore, but I know that God is doing a miracle every day, and the greatest miracle of all is that we can save and love a guy like me,
Starting point is 00:30:11 so much that he would give his only son so that I could be restored. Well, listen, I know that's true, but, you know, that's that, any Christian could believe in that kind of a miracle. I'm talking about, you know, people having their lives radically changed, healing. We believe in that. God is doing that today, and I'm always, I'm always astonished to the point where I have to joke around about people who don't, they don't believe that. I don't know, you know, I don't know who they're hanging out with, but that's not, it's not a good sign.
Starting point is 00:30:38 It's not a good sign because God wants to do that kind of stuff. And it's, it's just, it's a beautiful thing. So, okay, now I know that on this tour, Sonic Flood will be in Mesquite, Texas, because we're going to intersect in Mesquite, Texas. And I'm looking forward to meeting you in person. But what are, what other places are you all going to be playing in? How long does this tour go for? We're got a handful of dates in the fall, and we're going all the way to Manila and up to Canada and different places. Manila?
Starting point is 00:31:14 You know, a little place called Manila. You're going to the Philippines? Yeah, you want to go? Not particularly. It's a two-day trip. I mean, wow. So this is not just the U.S. of A. You're going to Manila.
Starting point is 00:31:27 That's pretty cool. That's pretty cool. I mean, is that the only country? You mentioned Canada, but I mean, or are you doing other tour dates in Europe or Asia? We just scoot around wherever God wants us. You know, we've we've toured the world around and around many times as you have. I've never been to Asia. I've never been to Asia.
Starting point is 00:31:54 Well, listen, we're at a time. I just want people to know. that you and I will be together on October 19th. They can find that out. I mentioned my website, Erictax.com, but all the stuff on Sonic Flood, that whole huge schedule, SonicFludd.com. Rick Hyle, God bless you.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Thank you. Thanks so much, Eric. God bless you. Folks, welcome back. I'm excited. We have a new sponsor and friend at the Eric Mataxis show. It is Noble Gold Investments. You can check them out at NobleGold Investments.com.
Starting point is 00:32:36 and I'm sitting right now with Colin Plume, who's the president and CEO of noble gold investment. So I have a few questions I want to ask you. You were saying something about the IRA. Talk about that. Yeah, so we help people. A lot of people aren't aware that you can acquire golden silver platinum plating in your IRA. And it's not a stock or a fund, and it's not mining stocks. It's actual physical gold and silver.
Starting point is 00:33:02 In 1987, they started to allow this as an option because, As you can recall, in the early 80s, we had crazy inflation, you know, double-digit, high 18% inflation, 16%. So the government realized, like, maybe we should have something else as an offer. They also started minting their own coins at the same time, coincidentally. So we help people old 401Ks, IRAs, TSPs, any account, we can help them move it out of stocks and bonds and whatever into owning physical gold that they own. And the reason that people do it and they like it is it's a self-directed IRA. So we do help you. We do the paperwork.
Starting point is 00:33:40 We do all the work. But you're in control of it. So you can acquire when you want. You can sell it when you want. Obviously, you get all the tax advantages of having it within an IRA vehicle. So we've had clients this year that have sold some of their gold and they've transitioned into silver. And that's a tax-free event. So that's how they've been able to take advantage of it being in a tax-free vehicle.
Starting point is 00:34:03 So it's something that we obviously. We also sell metals directly to clients and ship it or we store it, but the IRA has become very popular over the last few years. I want to ask you, it says that there are two classic conditions historically that increase the price of gold. One is a weak dollar and another is falling interest rates. So why would interest rate cuts, which seem to be probable, why would that be good for? gold. Yeah, the top analysis, our analysts out there, I think we have about an 80% chance in September that we're going to have a rate cut. And I believe that to be true also. I've looked at all the different studies. Also, the last Fed report, Powell sort of went away from talking about
Starting point is 00:34:50 the interest rates and what's going to start talking about the employment. And so I think they're setting it up for them to lower rates to hopefully help employment. And the reason thinking is, if rates go lower, it allows for more job growth. So I believe, that September will see it. The reason that does is a few things. One, is you're opening up the money supply. That's one of the reasons that people believe it will help gold. The other reason is that a lot of investors will just lose the ability to have all their cash in the banks. There's been a lot of money in the banks. And it's a cash trap, right? If the banks are paying 4%, what are the banks really making on their money? How are they profiting? They can't just pay you for or not profit.
Starting point is 00:35:31 it. So I think there's a cash trap with a lot of people, and they have a lot in cash. And I think when they drop rates, the 4% days in the bank will drop. And then I think over the next 16 to 18 months, I think we'll see it go back to the low twos. And then the question is, is like, how do you make up enough money to keep up with the cost of living? And I don't think anyone is willing to take that chance at a 2 or 2.5% return. You said earlier that last year, gold was around $1,900. and it's now at $2,400? That is very dramatic. I'm surprised to hear that's a huge jump.
Starting point is 00:36:05 What accounts for that? Well, it's interesting. You think it'd be the retail market, like funds, but the fund market, the hedge funds and those haven't really jumped in yet. A lot of the buying has been from central banks. It's been a heavy buy year for central banks. China came out with a very coy statement that they are slowing down their buying. But interestingly enough, they did the same thing in the early 2000.
Starting point is 00:36:28 they said they slowed down buying. And then in 2009, they said their reserves went up by 65%. So actually, they were buying the whole time. But, you know, China is not so deliberate or willing to give out information. So a lot of it has to do with central bank demand. I also think it just comes down to the cost of pulling gold and silver out of the ground has gotten more expensive. So I think it's been a reaction of that.
Starting point is 00:36:51 But yes, you're right. Like your typical bull run and gold would be tied into, you know, lower cheap money. You know, Black Swan, we've had a few things happen. We haven't seen your typical events to push gold up, but I think people realize that it's a price that's desirable. I'm telling people the website is noblegoldinvestments.com. Now, if people go there, you talked a little bit earlier about personal attention,
Starting point is 00:37:21 those of people are looking for guidance with the finances. So talk a little bit about Noble Gold investments, how you do that. So we're a U.S.-based company, and we actually have live people. You're not going to talk to a bot or AI. You're going to get a representative, and they also have a person that's working with them. So Noble Gold is sort of trended in the opposite direction
Starting point is 00:37:40 of a lot of businesses where they've gone so digital and AI-driven. We have people, which I think people like. So you get a person to talk to. We have gold investment guides, silver investment guides. The most recent thing that we've come up with and worked on is our Kevin Sorboe Masterclass, which is less than an hour. hour. It's video, and that's totally for free. And it's for people that want to learn in a video
Starting point is 00:38:03 format. So it talks about, because Kevin has been buying gold since the early 80s, which I found out over the last few years. So we've combined and put a master class together. So we have a lot of free information. So our goal is to educate people on precious metals, get them a lot of good information, and then, you know, have a relationship with them over many years. Well, I love that. And I just, we're going to go in a second here, but I was going to say this stuff is so beautiful. Is this a silver? I mean, is this silver? That's silver. Yeah, that's a five-ounce silver, America, the beautiful coin. Now, what is that worth? That's about $180. I can afford this. Okay, I can afford, I can afford this. I know you're going to not let me keep any of this stuff. Now, you sure you don't want to, like, let me hold on to this for just a couple of months.
Starting point is 00:38:53 A couple of months. I think we're at time. I think we're going to conclude you will. let me keep this. Yes, absolutely. And you'll let me keep this. Yes. And actually, the silver Trump rounds and this flag bar. Okay. That's exciting. Listen, Colin Plum, really nice to meet you. Thanks for coming by. Folks, go to noblegoldinvestments.com. Starting point is 00:40:11 Go to noblegoldinvestments.com now, noblegoldinvestments.com. Hey there, folks. Welcome back. As you know, right now, we're doing our annual campaign with food for the poor. They are heroes. They are feeding hungry children. They're getting clean drinking water to people who do not have that. Try to imagine that. It's hard for us sometimes to imagine that.
Starting point is 00:40:45 So I thought maybe if I bring on somebody from Food for the Poor, she could help us. Anitra Parmali is my guest. Anitra, welcome. Thank you so much for having me. And you're exactly right. It's hard when for us, water, somebody challenged me, said, can you count the ways that you could get drinkable water just within a couple steps? I mean, I'm in South Florida.
Starting point is 00:41:09 So with hurricanes, I know I could literally drink from my toilet tank if necessary. So the tub, the ice maker of my refrigerator, the faucets, the garden spicket outside, all of them provide me access to water. But when you travel to Guatemala, Honduras, Haiti, you recognize that that is. not the reality for so many of these families. Water is muddy and bacteria infested, and it's also often a mile walk away. I mean, these young girls, and usually women, are traveling hours every day just to carry water that they know is going to make them sick, but they have no alternative until you, your gift is going to change that. I mean, again, I have to say,
Starting point is 00:42:02 Folks, I hope this pulls at your heartstrings because this is, it's real. Imagine having a young daughter who has to walk very, very far. We're not talking, you know, 100 feet. We're talking a mile, two miles, like to walk far to bring back water. Water is heavy. I happen to know it's eight pounds a gallon. So just five gallons is 40 pounds. How do you carry that?
Starting point is 00:42:32 This is what we're talking about. It's unbelievable poverty in our own hemisphere. And the only good news is you can do something about it, which is why we partner with food for the poor. I say to everybody go to metaxis talk.com. You'll see the banner. You can give monthly. If you give monthly, maybe that's easier for you. But I always, everybody knows we got to do something. Doing a little bit, food for the poor is such a reputable organization. It's why we partner with them. So that the easiest way is just to go to Metaxus talk. dot com. But Anitra, talk about the food situation. Again, it's hard for us who we all have too much food. We're dieting in America. We can't imagine. What would it be like? I can't feed my kids. I mean, it's very hard for us to imagine it. And I love what Mariah said. She says, I give out of gratitude, not out of guilt. This is not an either or. We're excited for the blessings that you have. We're just inviting you to share some of them. I mean, the reality, is devastating. I mean, you've traveled, you have stood in front of these families, and we're hearing stories of mothers boiling rocks. And when you see the pan innocently, we asked, oh, so what are you
Starting point is 00:43:47 cooking? And shamefacedly, she said, I don't have anything. I'm praying that my children fall to sleep before they realize there's no food. I mean, that's the reality. These are our mothers that giving their children twigs not because they're abusive, but to silence the hunger pangs. And that could be devastating if we left it there. But today you can make it an ordinary day extraordinary, a one-time gift of $50 because of a match, meal for meal by a generous donor to food for the poor. The impact of your gift is going twice as far. $50 right now provides a child food for a year. I mean, imagine telling a mother whose children hadn't eaten for one, two, three days, you're going to have food security for the next 365 days. And it helps a community
Starting point is 00:44:43 gain access to water. I mean, that the impact is transformational. I want to be real clear, folks. This is very important. I want everybody there, everybody listening to do something. So go to Metaxistalkisotoc.com or text Eric to 51555. Text Eric to 51555. Please do it. Anitra, thank you.
