Ladies and gentlemen, looking for something new and original, something unique and without equal.
Look no further. Here comes the one and only Eric Mattaxas.
Hey there, folks. Welcome to the program. Chris.
Where are you?
I am in New Jersey, but...
You're just across the Hudson River.
Yes.
I'm outside.
I am now at that point in my travels where I don't know where I am.
I have to actually stop and think.
And I'm not kidding.
People think I'm kidding.
People say, does that happen to you?
Normally no.
But it just happened.
I'm in San Antonio, Texas.
That's a good place.
San Antonio, Texas, and there's people, like I'm in a hotel room. So there's people
banging. Can you hear the banging? They're doing construction outside the window where I'm doing
this radio program. Ladies and gentlemen, I don't know what's happening. It's like I'm a war correspondent.
We have coming up in this hour, Terry Schilling. We're going to talk. We want to talk yesterday a little
bit about Columbus Day, but obviously with everything going on in Israel, we didn't talk about
Columbus Day. So we're going to talk a little bit about Columbus Day with Terry Schilling. And then
we're going to talk about the Biden administrations. You know what? I can't even talk about it.
Now, it's too disturbing, but we're going to talk about that with Terry Schilling. In our two,
we're going to bring our friend Jason Jones on to talk about what's happening in Israel.
Jason Jones has been in the war zones of the world, like our guest yesterday, Laura Logan,
Yeah, understands this stuff.
Yeah, Jason is particularly qualified.
He came on a couple of years back on the show with some Yazidi folks he had helped extract out of northern Iraq.
I mean, he's, he's like the real deal.
He's basically G.I. Joe.
He's unbelievable, frankly.
When people tell me these things, I think you did what?
I don't, you know, I don't, I can't imagine.
But anyway, we'll talk to him an hour, too.
And I, and we'll probably bring on Jeremy Tedesco from the Alliance Defending Freedom to talk a little bit about.
about that. As most people know, we're doing a fundraiser for the Alliance Defending Freedom.
And I say it over and over, but people ask me, Eric, what can I do? Everything is going insane.
What can I do? And there are a number of things you can do. One thing you can do today, folks,
today is you can give to the Lions Defending Freedom. If you know who they are, if you understand
what they do, you understand that giving something to them, whether a little bit or a lot,
you're doing something very valuable, very important. I'm not just saying this. This is really
genuinely true. The Alliance ofending Freedom, their heroes fighting for religious liberty in the courts.
I just posted something on my Twitter feed yesterday. Jack Phillips, this guy's a baker, folks.
He's a baker. Think about it. Think about what you do in life, right? Like you're not some muckety muck,
whatever. You're just doing something. We all just do something. This guy's just
baking cakes. He runs the masterpiece cake shop in Colorado for 11 years. The woke nuts that hate him
because he's a Christian have been going after him and going after him. It has been 11 years of
lawsuits. Alliance Defending Freedom won the first one, crushed it. But they keep coming after him.
It's been 11 years. And he hopes that the lawsuit that the Alliance Defending Freedom is working with him on now might
finally get this to go away. But this is an average citizen. I've met him a couple of times.
This is not, you know, some freedom fighter, somebody in the political world. The guy owns a private,
you know, business, a small business, and he has been attacked. They're coming for all of us.
If you don't stand with those who you can stand with now, it's the Martin Neemuller
a poem. You know, first they came for this group and I didn't stand up because I wasn't one of them.
And then they came for this group and I didn't stand up because I wasn't one of them. And then when they
came for me, there was no one left to stand up or to speak from me. We are living through that right now.
This is the cancel culture. They're trying to wipe him out. They're trying to wipe out Mike Lindell.
They may succeed. So I just want to say, folks, everybody has to stand up and do something. So I'm asking
you to go to Metaxistocococ.com and to give to the Alliance defending freedom.
you'll see the banner there.
This is very important.
Please do what you can.
I also want to say, typically, I say if somebody out there wants to give a gift of $10,000, they can do so.
And we can have dinner someplace if I get to your neck of the woods.
Just last night, I had dinner here actually in San Antonio with a lovely couple who had given
$15,000 to the CSI campaign from about a year ago.
or whenever that was.
And so I put it out there that if someone wants to give $10,000,
it will be my joy to figure out of time in the next year
where we can have dinner together someplace.
But I will say that this offer is for this week only
because, frankly, we cannot really, I've just gotten so busy.
So I'm just going to, the offer stands for this week only if you give to
spending freedom because of the show.
But after this week, I will not be able to do that or I'll have to double a price or something
because I simply can't fit it in my schedule anymore.
Yeah, I was just going to say the price for dinner with Eric has just gone up.
Well, I mean, in all seriousness, this is like a, you know, this is a.
No, I mean, I'm kind of joking.
Right.
I'm kind of joking, but I know personally, you know, your schedule in your life right now,
it's literally every minute of your time is accounted for and very, very valuable at this point.
Yeah, no, it's true.
So I will say that if somebody wants to do that literally the end of this week,
that that's as, I'll put this offer out there, but just just for these few days for this week.
Yeah, and I want to say that I've gotten, I've had the privilege of joining a couple times
for some of these dinners when they were in New York and meeting some of these folks and just really
some of my better memories being part of the show, actually just meeting these people in person.
Yeah.
Well, that's all the things.
I get to meet these wonderful people that care.
about the same stuff that we care about.
And it is a joy.
And so, as I say, anybody who wants to give $10,000 or more, we'd be delighted to work it
out where we spend the evening together.
And as I say, I did it last night.
And it is a real joy to get to meet folks who care about this stuff on that level.
But whatever you can give, most people can't think of giving anything like that.
And I want to say, please, just go to metaxis.com.
Sorry, Metaxus Talk.
that's the radio website. Mataxis talk.com. Give what you can, please, because the Alliance
Defending Freedom are on the front lines, folks. They're on the front lines and they're fighting for us.
You know, people say that a lot. It's vague. This is not. This is really clear. They are,
they're absolute heroes. So I want you to go to metaxis talk.com. There's a phone number. The phone number is 855,
547-53-33-855-5-4-7-53-53-33.
And I'm quite serious about the offer for dinner,
but I'm also serious about the fact that it's just this week.
I cannot really do this anymore because my schedule's gotten so crazy.
So anyway, we have, in our two, we mentioned we've got Jason Jones.
Before Jason, I'll talk to.
Jeremy Tedesco with the Alliance Defending Freedom,
and he can tell you a little bit more about what they're doing.
But you know what?
Today, I may be in San Antonio,
but tomorrow I'm flying to back to Dallas,
because tonight I'm speaking at a pregnancy center benefit here in San Antonio.
If you're in the San Antonio area, there's probably tickets available.
You go to my website, Eric Mettaxas.com, check it out.
But tomorrow I go back to Dallas because we have a soft.
Socrates in the city event in Fort Worth Thursday night with my favorite archaeologist in the world, Stephen Collins.
I write about him in my book, is Atheism Dead.
It is amazing, actually, that I'm finally going to interview him for Socrates in the city.
Now, it's sold out, but you can watch it live on the live stream.
It is fun to watch it.
Like, you know, you get a group together, whatever, open up a bottle of wine.
and, you know, you can have your own private Socrates and City event at a fraction,
fraction of the cost, if you, but you have to go to Socratesandcity.com and sign up for the live
stream, and you can't do it at the last minute because they shut it down.
People last time got very upset because they went half an hour earlier and it was shut down.
So you have to go to Socratesandcity.com if you want to do the live stream, sign up.
Yeah, I'll be watching online with my pillar of salt, my Socrates commemorative
us, Sodom, Filler of Salt that Socrates is selling, right?
Yes, you're, you're, you're, the thing you got at the Sodomite gift shop.
Yeah.
So Socrates's the city, uh, live stream, check it out.
We'll be right back with Terry Schilling.

Hey there, folks, welcome back. I have as my guest right now, someone who goes by the name Terry
Schilling. But it turns out Terry Schilling is his actual name. He is the president of the
American Principles Project.
And we're going to talk to him about a couple of things, all of them disturbing, but
we're going to try to be positive.
Terry Schilling, welcome to this program.
Thanks so much for having me, Eric.
I've always wanted to come on and enjoying being here with you.
Well, listen, you're doing great work with the American Principles Project.
I just want to say, you know, when you talk about American Principles, I think you and I
know that American principles are under attack. And so let's start at the beginning. Yesterday,
you know, we had all the big news from Israel. Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible news.
So we didn't talk about Columbus Day. But yesterday was Columbus Day. And when you talk about
American principles, you know, typically we've celebrated Columbus Day. In our lifetimes,
Columbus has been put forward as a, you know, a raper of the indigenous populations, which is mostly
nonsense. What are we to make of this, this attack on Columbus? I mean, I don't know what to say
about it anymore. Well, it's just preposterous, right? And it's all Marxism. Once you realize that
the common denominator amongst all the attacks on everything that Americans love and know,
it's the common denominator is Marxism and a hatred of anything that upholds.
truth or glory or beauty or God.
It's all just the same lies and attacks, right?
Because here's the thing.
We all know that, you know, maybe Columbus did some bad things.
But overall, his life was a, he, Columbus contributed more in his life than any of the people
that are criticizing him by like a hundred billion times full, right?
And even if you compare what Columbus, the worst things that they've accused Columbus of,
If you compare that, what he's been accused of, not even when he's convicted of, to what the indigenous people were doing here in the Americas, it's not even close, right?
The indigenous people were a barbaric, evil group of people, right?
I want to be clear just before it, because people, I can hear people.
That's not true in every case, ladies and gentlemen, okay?
But in many cases, you cannot conceive of the horrors, perpetrators, perpetrators, perpetrators.
by quote unquote indigenous people to other indigenous people beyond belief, horrors, torture,
slavery among the indigenous peoples. We need to be clear about that. And what you're saying,
Terry, is correct. There's this utterly false, diabolical Marxist narrative to demonize certain people,
to ignore the context. And this has been going on for most of my adult life.
with Columbus. Obviously it goes on with George Washington and with practically anyone.
And I think when you say, you know, this is Marxism, this is cultural Marxism, that's the key
is at the end of the day, most of us just have to say, you know what, I totally reject this
garbage. You don't even want to get into the conversations because it's garbage. People are
saying these things to shut you down, to, in a sense, recreate an American.
in their own image, which is no longer America.
That's really their goal.
And they will simply say anything about anyone.
And what they say about Columbus, it's just what they can get away with effectively.
But please, go ahead.
Yeah, no, you're exactly right.
I mean, Columbus was a giant among men, right?
He was willing, he was willing to go out into the unknown to establish new trade route.
And here's the thing that people don't understand.
He was not trying to enrich himself.
He was obsessed.
So when he was doing everything that he did, when he sailed the ocean blue in 1492, he was,
everyone was concerned that Christ was coming back, that God was coming back for the second time.
And they wanted to reclaim the Holy Lands.
And what Columbus was obsessed with was establishing new trade routes that could be used to fund
the new Crusades and take back the Holy Land so that Christians can control.
controlled it when God came back. He was not trying to enrich himself. He was trying to do
yeoman's work. So if you're a Christian, you have no business criticizing him or at least
even siding with the indigenous people's day. I mean, the Mayans, the Aztecs, it's not just
the kidnapping. They would practice human sacrifice. They would literally bring, they would go and
capture Indian or, you know, little villagers who are peaceful and they would sacrifice them to
their gods. They would eat their hearts and then throw their bodies down these enormous stairs
for the rest of their people to eat them. They were all on truck. It needed to be conquered.
Those, we were, we were liberating those poor other indigenous people that were being
sacrificed and held hostage and just destroyed every day by these barbaric empires that were
here. But Columbus is a true hero and he established the new world and we should
always honor him. Everyone has flaws. Everyone has downsides to them, but you have to look at someone's
life holistically. And if we're going to go down this route of condemning people for all their
smallest of sins and not take into consideration all the great things they did, well,
heaven help us with myself and all the people criticizing him even because your life is not going
to reflect well compared to Columbus's. Well, I mean, it is it is true.
that. I think what the cultural Marxists do, this is the leftists have been doing it in my lifetime,
is that they take everything out of context and they forget that, for example, you know,
the 15th and early 16th centuries when Columbus did what he did, it was a tremendously barbaric
time. Slavery was universal. No one had conceived of the idea of abolishing slavery. So he comes
over here, the indigenous people here were at least as barbaric as anyone on the other side of
the Atlantic. Slavery, as you say, human sacrifice, torture, horrible, horrible things. And so when
people act like Columbus came over and there were these, you know, these innocent natives here,
that's not quite right. And it's very complicated. And people just want to, want to demonize him. And I,
And I think that ultimately, and again, it's when you bring this up, you say this is Marxism.
Ultimately, I think the first thing we have to do, folks, is just reject this stuff.
In other words, before you engage, simply say, excuse me, no, that's garbage.
Yeah, it's complicated.
Yes, Columbus did some things and his people did some things.
But don't give me the he was a villain.
And they were, that's just not true.
It's confusing enough, at least, that I want to say stop.
Let's talk about some of the details because it is, it's just nonsense designed to shut down the celebration, as you said, of any heroes of anything.
And it's a very negative sour, you know, critical theory approach to history.
No, that's exactly.
And I want to thank you for correctly pointed.
out early on that they were not all bad. There were innocent indigenous people, but they were,
they were the ones that Columbus liberated, right? You know, they were being terrorized by the Aztecs and the
Incans and the Mayans and a host of other barbaric tribes. And, and they were liberated. We needed to
liberate those people from those very evil regimes. And frankly, I think the thing that's
concerning to me is that as we see the rise in our elites in America celebrating things like
Indigenous People's Day and attacking people like Thomas Jefferson and George Washington and even
Abraham Lincoln, along with Columbus, you're seeing these evil institutions start to come back,
right?
I think one of the things that I'm really concerned about, you know, two weeks ago, Gavin Newsom
vetoed this bill that would infringe upon parents' rights over transgenderism.
Well, guess what he did this past weekend?
He signed a bill that would infringe upon parents' rights and be even worse.
So basically, Gavin Newsom essentially lowered the age of consent to 12 years old in California for medical decisions.
So if you're a kid and you want to get a gender transition, the state can come in and take the kid from your home if the parents aren't supporting.
And they don't even need any evidence that the parents aren't supporting.
They just come in and take them.
So we're starting to see, like, as these criticisms, these Marxist criticisms,
begin to take hold in our elite institutions,
we're seeing those evil practices starting to return.
They're dividing all of us so badly,
and I just don't know where it stops
because we don't have a political class right now
that's taking this seriously or really taking these guys on.
I know it's a little bit of a diversion,
but I think it's all related.
We don't have a political house that's taking it seriously.
They're useless cowards.
I just want to cut to the chase.
They're useless cowards.
They're villains. We're talking about most of the Republicans. If you do not see these things
as evil that needs to be fought against with all of your might and main, you're a coward.
You have no business being involved politically because human lives are at stake,
families are at stake, kids are at stake. We've been talking about Christopher Columbus.
I want to be very clear to my audience. We're not talking about Colombo, okay,
the Peter Falk character from the TV series. We're talking about Christopher.
Columbus. And when we come back, maybe we'll talk about Peter Falk and a lot of the cop shows from
the 70s. Maybe not. Stick around. Tell me why Relief Factor is so successful at lowering or eliminating
pain. I'm often asked that question just the other night. I was asked that question. Well, the owners of
Relief Factor tell me they believe our bodies were designed to heal. That's right, designed to heal.
And I agree with them. And the doctors who formulated Relief Factor for them selected the four best
ingredients, yes, 100% drug-free ingredients, and each one of them helps your body deal with inflammation.
Each of the four ingredients deals with inflammation from a different metabolic pathway.
That's the point.
So approaching from four different angles may be why so many people find such wonderful relief.
If you've got back pain, shoulder, neck, hip, knee, or foot pain from exercise or just getting
older, you should order the three-week quick start discounted to only 1995 to see if it'll work for you.

Folks, welcome back. I'm talking to Terry Schilling. He's the president of the American
Principles Project. You can find them at Americanprincipalsproject.org. Americanprincipalsproject.org.
Terry, we were talking about, you know, yesterday was Columbus Day and the attacks on
Columbus. But it's the same old, same old. And I think that people are waking up to this,
that the left has been for decades banging the drum against anything Western, European,
Christian. They don't really care if they have to lie or twist the facts or hide the context.
They are at war with the good, the beautiful, and the true. They have this sour version of the world.
they want to drag us down really into, you know, tyranny and enslavement, which is ironic when you think of what they talk about.
And we now have, we're seeing in our own lifetimes a level of government overreach in America.
When you talk about American principles, the American Principles Project, the American Principles of Family is sacred.
That is number one that is being attacked by people like Gavin Newsom.
They're basically saying, hey, mom and dad, you're nobody.
We, the state, own your children.
We, the state, will decide what happens to your children.
It's a mind-blowing thing.
It's a level of evil and government overreach that we haven't seen in our lifetimes.
I have not.
I never thought I would see it in America.
But talk about how the Biden administration, and by the way, there are people listening right now who either voted for Biden or didn't vote.
And folks, this is on you what is happening because when you elect a president or when you sit on your hands and don't
vote and a president like Biden gets in, whether by stealing the election or legitimately,
their policies are, you are self-governing and you made it possible for someone like this to come in
and to implement the satanic policies that we're talking about right now.
And these are satanic policies.
These are utterly evil.
This is not just, we have a difference of opinion on tax codes.
This is really wicked.
A tax on the family, attacks on parents.
shoving them away from their own children.
So talk about that because this is a new thing, Terry Schilling, that you're bringing up.
Well, one thing I want to just point out just for your audience is that there's a tell when it comes to
Luciferian ideas and policies and talking points.
And that one of those tells is when they make the exception, the rule.
So Luciferianism and everything satanic and evil always takes a little bit of truth and then
inverts it and makes it the reality.
And so what you're how you just described it, basically, where the Biden administration
and Democrats are coming in and they're saying parents, you, you are anything, the state
runs everything.
It's actually worse than that, Eric.
They are saying that parents are a threat to their children and need to be protected by
the state from their parents, right?
It's so much more nefarious.
And yes, you know what, of course, there are some kids who have abusive parents, but that
is the exception to the rule. The rule is that no one knows, no one loves or cares about children
better than their own parents, the people that created them through their own act,
they're their own flesh and blood. There's no one that could possibly fill that gap.
But what we have is the Biden administration using the federal tax dollars that we all pay
over $6 trillion. What they've done is they've weaponized that $6 trillion that they spend
every year against the American family. And here's what I mean by that. When the Department of Education
gives out money to your local school district, they give you your tax dollars back, what happens is
there are federal grant agreements strings that are attached to every single dollar. They make the
school put boys in girls sports. They make the school put boys in your daughter's locker room and
shower. Otherwise, if they don't go along with that, then they risk losing the federal tax dollars
that they're receiving.
So they've weaponized every aspect of the federal budget against the American family,
against our children, and really against the American education system.
It's all, and it's just, it's not just education.
It's health and human services.
They're doing this.
Did you know that they require, Obamacare requires health insurance companies to cover
gender transition procedures, right?
And they came out, they did it in a real sly way.
They basically said that since sex is protected under civil rights law, that you can't
discriminate on the basis of gender identity, which means that if you're an insurance company,
an insurance provider, and you provide mastectomies for cancer victims, well, you've got to
provide those now for women who identify as men as well. The whole federal budget, this is
where all of our problems are rooted. It's in the federal government. You're wondering,
you know, people ask me all the time, because we're on the road a bunch, why is this happening
my little town of 3,000 people? Well, it's because your little town of 3,000 people is taking a lot
of federal dollars from the federal government, and they're going along with all of it.
That's why DEI is in your kids' school.
That's why the trans stuff is.
That's why everything is going on.
And so the real leverage point here right now, Eric, if you really want to change things around,
we have to take things back at the local level, but we've also got to put restrictions on what
the federal government can spend money on.
And they can't spend it on transing your kids.
They can't spend it on taking away your daughter's privacy and safety rights in school.
And they definitely can't use it to.
to indoctrinate your kids to hate their country and hate their government.
And so we've got to use that.
We're in a war, ladies and gentlemen.
And if you don't understand this, keep listening.
Because this is real.
If you're doing nothing, you're part of the problem.
So many people listening right now, you're actually part of the problem.
You need to do something.
Actually, you need to do a lot of things.
I'm, as you know, we're doing a fundraiser for the Alliance defending freedom.
These are total heroes in the battles that we are talking about right now.
So we're asking you to go to metaxis talk.com, metaxistock.com, click on the banner, give anything, something.
Please, to the Alliance Defending Freedom, metaxis talk.com.
I promise you, they are heroes.
And, you know, that's something we can do.
Metaxistalk.com.
We'll talk more about that, and we'll be right back with Terry Schilling.

When the government used emergency edicts during COVID to restrict the gathering and worship of churches,
three pastors facing the risk of imprisonment, unlimited fines, and their own churches being ripped apart,
took a courageous stand and reopened their doors and the face of a world that chose to comply.
The Essential Church is a feature-length documentary that explores the struggle between the church and government throughout history.
This fascinating story uncovers those who have sacrificed.
their lives throughout history for what they truly believe in.
We discover why the church is essential and how we prove that this stand remains true from a scientific, legal, and most importantly, biblical perspective.
This is not your typical movie.
It'll change your life.
You need to see this movie with your friends and family.
The Essential Church is streaming today exclusively at SalemNow.com.
That's Essential Church, streaming at SalemNow.com.
I have as my guest, Terry Schilling, president of the American Principles Project.
Terry, we're talking about, you know, some disturbing things.
But I want to encourage people, folks, here's the issue.
These disturbing things, by God's grace, they can wake you up and activate you to get involved.
Because there are many people that have just been drifting along, you know, like a dead fish along in the stream.
We've got to swim upstream.
I mean, we've got to stop going along with things by doing nothing.
And so people say, well, what can I do?
Well, there's a million things you can do.
And we're talking about it.
You can vote.
You can advocate for these kinds of things.
But please go to Metaxusalk.com and give to the Alliance Defending Freedom.
That is one thing you can do, I promise you, a concrete thing, even if you give a little bit per month, that is huge, because they are fighting these battles in the courts for us.
and parents who are really the victims, along with their children of some of the things we're hearing about from Terry Schilling, where do they go? Where do they go for redress? They go to the Alliance of Fending Freedom who will defend them for free in the courts. So I just want to make merely clear, folks, we have to do, we all have to do something. We have to get in the game. So Terry, the Biden administration, I mean, I want to say this clearly. They are wicked. They're doing wicked things, anti-American things, anti-family things.
things that go against, you know, every, every bone in our bodies that are just terrible things.
And there are tons of people out there.
Many of them who call themselves Christians who say, well, I'm not political or I didn't vote or I, you know.
And I think to myself, wow, could this motivate you that children are being ripped away from their parents in America?
And the Biden administration is pushing this.
Gavin Newsom and other governors are pushing this.
Like we never, none of us ever dreamt we would see this in our lifetime.
it's literally happening now, not going to happen, but it's happening.
No, that's exactly right.
Listen, I think it's a somewhat fair comparison to compare what Joe Biden is doing to this great
country.
And what Obama did to this great country to Nero, right?
Joe Biden is essentially Nero in a suit.
He's a polite version, a sterilized version.
He's the government bureaucrat version.
They are, they're allowing our cities to be ransacked, to be lit on fire.
to be destroyed utterly and completely.
And meanwhile, they're sending our tax billions upon billions of dollars overseas to start
a World War III.
And meanwhile, they're having barbecue.
They literally had a barbecue at the White House this weekend while Israel is coming under insane
attacks while women and children are being kidnapped and brutally murdered.
This is a regime in power in America that hates this country.
And what I mean by they hate this country, they don't just hate like the government.
they love the government. They hate you. They hate the American people and they want to do everything
they can to destroy it. They hate the fact that they can't control you. They hate the fact that you
don't have to do what they say. They hate the fact that you are having children because you having
children is causing the earth's temperature to rise. This is how insane and evil these people are.
So they want to destroy the Constitution. They want to get rid of all of our heroes that we look up to,
not because they hate the Constitution or they hate that. They hate you. They will. They
want to control you. They hate the Constitution because it doesn't allow them to control you.
And that's why they treat it like a piece of paper. But we've got to fight back, Eric, and the center
of this fight is the American family. That is where that's our last remaining institution.
And that institution needs to work through our elections and politics in order to get elections,
to win elections, and to get legislation and laws change in this country.
And I want to say again, I wrote a book called Letter to the American Church.
and I'm working on the sequel right now.
But to me, the greatest scandal is that many, many, many church leaders absolutely refuse to see what we're talking about.
It is utterly scandalous.
It is no different than the church leaders in Germany who simply refused to see the evil of the Nazis rising.
They said we don't want to see it.
We're not going to acknowledge it.
We're going to pretend, you know, like it doesn't matter.
like this is a political thing.
Ladies and gentlemen, you know,
God sees through those lies.
Those are lies.
It's subterfuge.
It's nonsense.
And the German people were judged and the German church was judged.
And the German church leaders were judged for pretending this was not happening when it was
happening.
You have to call evil, evil.
And it is the job of the church.
If you call yourself some kind of a Christian to be involved in this.
And so we have had innumerable pastors and church leaders of the last few years say,
oh, it doesn't matter which side you vote for.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, the Biden administration is doing things that in the worst fever dream nightmare about Donald Trump, he was not doing these things.
You have these crazy people who are just unhinged by Trump for no rational reason other than they don't like him or something.
But here you have actual things happening.
happening. As a result of an election, Biden is doing things and encouraging policies that are
harming people in America, harming people around the world. There's no question that what Biden's
policy in the Middle East giving billions of dollars to Iran made what is going on in Israel right
now, made that happen. So when people talk about like politics is some other thing, folks,
we are responsible. God holds us responsible for the freedom we have to vote, to advocate,
to do all kinds of things that people in other countries don't, and we have to get involved.
Terry, just a minute left. What else can we talk about?
Well, I just, I really want to reemphasize what you just said.
We can't treat politics as if it's downstream of culture. We have to treat politics as
as it is what it is, which is it's part of the culture, right?
It's one of the areas of our culture that we can actually take over, use to take back power,
and change our laws and put in new people that can write this ship.
And we've got to start treating it as part of the culture, not downstream of culture,
because if we have to take over academia and the university system directly in those institutions,
it's going to take a long, it took the left, you know, a century to do that.
So we can do this actually much quicker by engaging in politics, retaking power and changing the laws.
That's how we reclaim those other institutions.
I just want to encourage you.
And I really appreciate you saying that about using politics to take back power.
It's an interesting thing because we've got to do everything and we've got to take back the culture and so on and so forth.
But sometimes, you know, you kind of act like what's in either or no folks, voting and being political.
First of all, people have died, died so that you could vote and so that you can make a mature.
decision. And the idea that we have leaders like Biden or Gavin Newsom in California and others
doing genuinely wicked things, that's on the American people. That's on those of you who didn't
vote or who said, well, I think that, you know, I don't like Donald Trump. So I'm going to vote for
Trump. We have to be rational. We have to repent of our inaction. We have to get serious.
I want to remind you, folks, please go to metaxis talk.com. You can do something significant there.
Metaxistocot.com give to the alliance.
Defending Freedom. Terry Schilling, thank you so much. Thanks so much, Eric.
Folks, welcome back. I have as my guest, Vincent Wagner, Senior Counsel at the Alliance Defending Freedom.
You know that we are asking you, every one of you, to get involved this month in fighting for liberty.
People always ask me, Eric, what can I do? What can we do? You can do this. This is a small thing,
but please step up. Go to Metaxistalk.com. Folks, please, this is just like you can do this.
right now. Vincent Wagner, you've been with ADF for a while, and you're aware that this is ultimately
like a national thing. This is not, you're fighting these battles all over, but it's the nation is at stake.
That's right, Eric. We've talked already about cases in Indiana, Wisconsin, but you brought up
California, which is trying to pass very dangerous anti-parent laws. We know of cases that we're
involved in in Florida, in Massachusetts, we've heard stories of parents from states everywhere in
between, even states that I imagine your listeners living in Texas think they're safe from these
threats, but we hear stories from families in Texas even. It's just a national movement against
parents and against religious freedom that we're working as hard as we can to defend Americans
against. Well, again, you know, I say to people that,
It's, a lot of times people wonder, what can I do?
They say, gee, what can I do?
And sometimes, you know, there are many things we can do.
But in this case, it's like it's teed up for you, folks.
What you can do is you can help those who are already at the forefront in this war against liberties that we have, patriots have died.
Patriots have given their blood and their lives.
for the very things that are under attack right now.
And so the least we can do is to help the Alliance offending Freedom do this.
They're not getting rich off of this.
They're doing this because they believe it's right.
They believe in it.
And they are doing this pro bono.
So when somebody comes to them and says, I am being fired, I'm being attacked,
what do I do?
They don't say, well, can you pay?
They say, we will take this on because we actually believe in this.
And the only reason they can do that is because you give to the alliance defending freedom.
So I know there are folks out there who can give a lot of money.
I know there are people who can barely give anything.
But I'm asking you folks, whatever you can give.
Do your part.
It's between you and the Lord.
This is not a contest.
This is about an opportunity to stand up and to fight for what is right and true and good.
And it is going away if we don't fight.
And I think a lot of us have been inured to these evils over time.
We kind of think, well, there's nothing I can do.
That's the voice of the devil.
There is plenty that you can do.
But you must do it.
So if you go to our website, it's metaxis talk.com.
You'll see the banner there.
When you click on the banner, it gives you all kinds of options to do whatever you like.
But we're talking about issues of religious liberty, issues of free speech, parental rights,
life in the womb.
Marriage. Remember marriage between a man and a woman?
All of this stuff, if you don't fight in the courts, you lose automatically.
You lose by default because that's kind of where we are.
And so we've just got to do this.
So we have a short opportunity.
So I'm exhorting you.
You should be inspired, folks, that ADF exists.
and is doing this. And that's why they come to us to say, help us to do what we're already doing.
So again, you go to Metaxus Talk.com. You'll see the banner. The phone number, you can call right now,
855-385-0-5-96. Again, it's 855-385-0-96. Or again, metaxisistock.com.
see the banner. Vincent Wagner, God bless you and God bless your colleagues at ADF. We are just
proud to work with you. Thank you so much. Thanks so much for having me on Eric.
