Ladies and gentlemen, I told you, I told you that in this segment, I would bring on a senior counsel for the Alliance Defending Freedom, Jack Wagner. And as it turns out, he just corrected me. I'm mispronouncing Jack. He pronounces it Vincent, which is bizarre. Vincent, if you insist, Vincent Wagner, welcome to the program. Thanks, Eric. It's an easy mistake to make.

Yes, yes, it is. No, you know, I was saying to you that I was getting confused because I mentioned Jack Phillips. A lot of people know the case of Jack Phillips, the Baker who has been attacked and attacked and attacked in Colorado, and you guys at the Alliance Defending Freedom have been defending him. And the head of ADF, Kristen Wagner, no relationship to Vincent Wagner. You said there's an O in her name? That's right. She's got two Gs and an O that I lack.

Sorry, an extra G and an O that are missing from my name. What's that all about? Okay, so in any event, I'm trying to confuse my audience. So, but I got an email from her this morning talking about you guys at the Alliance Defending Freedom, defending Jack Phillips, the masterpiece bake shop owner who I've met him several times, a humble man, a man of God, who refuses to do what people tell him to do because of his faith. And he has been so attacked in Colorado. and if it weren't for you guys at the Alliance Defending Freedom,

he would just be literally at a business, bankrupt. I mean, that's one thing that maybe a lot of people are aware of that the Alliance Defending Freedom has done. But the fact that that battle goes on, can you say a little bit about, I mean, this has been many, many, many years, that ADF, pro bono for free has been defending this hero, Jack Phillips in Colorado.

Can you say why that's still going on? Well, Colorado and folks in Colorado, haven't let Jack move on with his life. I mean, just this week, the Colorado Supreme Court agreed to take Jack's case again. So the fight continues. And like you said, Eric, don't charge Jack a dime. We don't charge any of our clients a dime. We do this all for free to protect Americans' freedom. And you may be already familiar with the five areas we focus on. Jacks falls within the category of religious liberty. We want to protect all Americans' freedom to exercise their religion, not just think about it privately in their house or in the church pew, but to

exercise it in society. So protect religious freedom. Protect the free speech of all Americans. You know, that comes up a lot lately on college campuses of where a lot of those cases are. Protect the sanctity of life. We played a big role in last year's victory in Dobbs. Our team, our life team was helping the state of Mississippi defend the law that the Supreme Court eventually held was constitutional and overruled. row on. We, so, so been, religious freedom, free speech, life.

We protect marriage and the family. And then what I'm here to talk about today, we protect parental rights. They're under attack in a way that they haven't been really before in our society. And so we're looking for ways to ensure that governments from the local government at your school board all the way up to the federal government in D.C. protects the fundamental God-given right of parents to be the ones who make decisions about what happens in their kids' lives. It's parents' duty to guide their children into adulthood. And we want to make sure parents have the right to exercise that duty as God calls them to. Okay, so I'm sure most of my audience is shocking a little bit with this.

We're dealing with something new in America. And again, folks, if this doesn't shock you and sicken you, you're not paying any. attention. We've never had this in America before where the state, the government, would dare, would dare to come in and to say, we have the right in effect to tell you, shut up, go away. We own your children. We will tell them what to think, and we will bar you from having influence over your own children. This is the kind of stuff that happened in the former Soviet Union. This is the kind of stuff that happens. in the most wicked communist, atheist dictatorships in the world.

This is what happened. It began to happen in Germany under the Nazis, where the Nazis said, we're going to educate your kids, parents. If you're some Christian parent, you have different views, we don't care. We'll send you to a concentration camp if you open up your mouth. That has come to America. And, you know, I say this most days,

that I didn't think I would see it. It's inconceivable that in the United States of America, we would have this kind of thing happening. And we know, of course, it's happening big time in California right now. Talk a little bit about that. Yeah, that's right. You mentioned California, Eric, but it's, and it is under attack in California. Don't get me wrong, but it's not just California. It's in communities from California to Alaska all the way to Maine and Florida.

It's every corner of our country. And a key place that we've seen this is in the, this issue of schools thinking they need to step between kids and their parents and hide from parents what's going on with their kid in the school, particularly when it comes to issues of gender identity. So I can tell you a story about a nice lady in Indiana that we represent right now named Kathy McCord. She was a school counselor in its greater Indianapolis area. She'd been in education for almost 40 years. About 37 years, she'd been a school counselor. most of that time. And this district enacted one of these policies where they start to call a boy

by female pronouns or use a female name for the boy. And unless there's, and if the kid doesn't want them to, they don't tell the parents what's going on. They do this without parental notification sometimes and without parental consent to this practice. And they call, they ask Kathy to participate in this. She always had problems with it. She's a school counselor. So she's a key part of this policy of treating kids as the wrong sex. And finally, a reporter in the Indianapolis area finds out about it. He calls her to ask questions about the policy.

She confirms that it's going on. She tells him the truth about what he already knows. And then a couple months later earlier this year, she was fired for talking to that reporter. So we're representing Kathy. and she sues the school district for this unconstitutional firing of her for exercising her free speech rights and also to put a stop to this unconstitutional policy that gets between kids and their parents, that cuts parents out of these key decisions in a kid's life. Parents have a right to know if their kids are struggling with something like gender identity.

And the schools in Indiana, not just California and not just Indiana, all over the place, are thinking they know better than parents, and they get to make these decisions without parental involvement. As I think we mentioned, if you want to get a picture of what is happening to Christians around the world so that you know what is going to happen to Christians in America in 10 minutes, you know, you can talk to people who are being persecuted horribly. I want to talk right now to Pastor Torben Zundergard, who is in Europe right now and who has been persecuted by the government of Denmark, This is evil. And I want you to hear his story.

Torben, Pastor Torben Sundergaard, welcome to this program. Yeah, it's good being here. Thank you. Tell my audience your story. They know nothing. Tell them from the beginning what has happened with you. First thing I want to say, Denmark is very different than America. If we look at the church, we have a state church religion, as we have many places in Europe.

It's like the Reformation came with Martin Luther. So south of Europe is Catholic, north of Europe is Lutheran. And if you look at Denmark, where we have like 6.5 million, there is only 5,000 people who are Pentecostal. So it's only 5,000 in the whole country of Denmark. There is 2,000. There is baptists. So I grew up in a Lutheran church, got baptized as a child, as a culture thing. And I knew of nothing else than what.

I knew from the Lutheran church. And then I know there was something called Jehovah's Witness and Mormons and weird things out there. Then I met God as 18 years old and loved Jesus and wanted to serve him. And I've done that in many countries, also in Denmark, through many, many years. And I was proud. I was proud of being Danish. I feel it was a good country. I could travel all over the world with my Danish passport.

But things are changing. in Denmark, in Europe and in America. And I was not prepared for it. Like people in America, it's not prepared for what is coming. So suddenly I experienced attacks in a very, very different way. From many branches of the government came after me, from the media they came after me. And it came to that point that I actually needed in 2019 to leave Denmark because of persecution and fled to America to secure.

item. Okay, I want to be clear for my audience. So the Lutheran religion is the state religion in Denmark. If you dissent, if you say I'm an evangelical, I am born again, I am Pentecostal, I believe in the Bible. If you dissent, if you dissent in any way from the state religion in Denmark, they will come after you. If you believe in Jesus, the way many people who listen to this program, believe in Jesus, they will come after you. So Pastor Torben Zundergard, how did they come after you? How did they persecute you? Why are we talking today? I want to say there's always freedom to believe in everything the Bible says as long as you don't live it out. And that is the problem today. that there is not many who really live it out.

And when you, like in a little country like Denmark, start to live it out, you get problems. And what they do is something new, I would call lawfare. They use the law to come after us. In Denmark, they did something called a mental violence law. In Finland right now, there is a politician who's under attack for crowding Romans. We're talking about marriage between a man and a woman. and they're coming after. In Finland, there is someone being persecuted a pastor for quoting the biblical, the New Testament book of Romans,

because it goes against the Finnish view of homosexuality. And it's not a... The point you made, I want to be clear, you made a very important point. Because I've been making this point a lot. wrote a book called Letter to the American Church. Ladies and gentlemen, no one cares. The devil doesn't care what you claim to believe. He doesn't care about what you say your faith is in Christ. He doesn't care. If you live it out, if you really have that faith and you live it out, now you are a threat. So even in a place like China, you say, I believe this and this and this,

they couldn't care less. Once you live it out, Once you say, I'm going to take my faith out of the church building into the public square, which you're commanded to do biblically, okay, not to keep it in the building on Sunday morning, but to take it out and to speak into the culture, to do things. That is when they come after you. And we need to be very clear if you're not living out your faith, the scripture says, faith without works is dead. So this is the key.

And Pastor Torben, you've just made the case in a place like, Denmark, they say, oh, you can believe whatever you want. We don't come after you. If you're born again, evangelical, Pentecostal, oh, that's fine. The moment you do something about it, you say something publicly, now they're going to shut you down. We need to be very clear about this. So what did you do that they came after you in Denmark? For me, there was many things. They used the media, and this is what we see in America also, with lies and manipulation. And in Denmark, it had to do first with children.

They talked about the children being abused in Christian families. So they're saying, because you're a born-again evangelical teaching the Bible to your children, they are accusing you. The government of Denmark is accusing you of child abuse. that's what you're saying. I would say those two things. We were praying for people and cast out demons and doing what the Bible says, but we also doing homeschooling.

And those two things is not a good connection in Denmark. So we have the government coming, knocking our doors, and want to check my girls and talk to them. And the way it happened, make no sense. It was just like attacks on attacks, on attacks. Now, hold on. You're telling me, the government came, to your home to talk to your children.

In other words, dividing parents from their children. This is beginning to happen in the United States. This is evil. But you're telling me that this happened to you. Yeah. And then to get, yeah, they came. They came a few times. And just a small story.

We were, we had a Bible school and we were doing a main trip where all the men went up on a trip. And we slaughtered chicken and eat it. And it was like a survivor. trip. Then a few days after the government came and knocked the door and said, I need to talk with your girls. And I say, why? Because you were on a man trip where you slaughtered a chicken. And I was like, but there's nothing wrong with slaughtering on chicken. We needed food. It was just to eat. Yeah, but we need to talk with your girls. Yeah, but my girls was not on the trip. It was only the man

who was there, but we still need to talk with your girls. And I was like, it made no sense. Why do they need to talk to my girls? Because I took some men on a trip. It was just like excuse. I just an excuse to come into the home. And then after they came into the home first time, they're like, oh, we think your daughter, she maybe is too thin. Maybe she has an eater disorder.

We need to come again. And it was like again and again. So we put them on a private school to try to get some peace. But then they start to visit the private school. At the same time, They were doing TV. I was on national TV almost every time, every day in the month of January. They were persecuting you on TV.

They were demonizing you in the media. And at the same time, they're approaching your children. Look, I, you know, forgive me for interrupting. But I want my audience to just see the pattern here. That this is wicked. This is when the government has overreaches and its authority. And ladies and gentlemen, if you live in the United States, you ought to know how wrong this is. But this kind of thing has been going on in Europe.

And this is a classic case. They don't like you. They demonize you. They come after you. They come after your children. I mean, this is deeply wicked. So keep going with the story. Then they did a law, a mental violence law where they actually talked about me in the parliament and talked about this law.

and said that came with a symbol in the parliament, what could be defined as mental violence? Mental violence. Mental violence. And that is where if you cast out demon in front of kids and handicapped people, that could traumatize them and that could be defined as mental violence. Okay, hold on. So you're doing deliverance ministry, which I have promoted on this program.

It is a biblical thing. There are some cessationists who listen to this program, but I want to say that I have been very clear that Jesus' ministry of casting out demons is something that friends of mine like my friend Ken Fish and Greg Locke and others, they're doing this, they're helping people. But because you did it, they came after you in Denmark. And what is, I've been doing ministry for years. I've been casting out demons for years.

So it was not new for me. but the world is changing. And then suddenly they came along, they came to look at our kids, and it came to that point where we actually needed to flee Denmark. But something happened in America because when we were in the airport,

flying to America, God spoke to me and said, Torben, what you experience in Europe is coming to America, but my people are not ready for what is coming. Okay, hold it right there. Going to a break, folks. You're not going any place.

So you just said, Torben, that you had to flee Denmark to come to the United States and God spoke to you in the airport and said to you that the same thing is coming to America

and the American church is not ready for it. And then I came January 2019, and I started right away also to, I was seeing asylum here, and then I started to preach, be ready for what is coming, and then the COVID came. And through the COVID, you start to see that same spirit, the lie, the manipulation, and then the election came with Trump. And it was the same, there was the same spirit. It was the same Antichrist spirit with lies manipulation.

We saw the back under the time of Hitler. I speak German. I grow up in the south of Denmark. So I've been on the Berlin Wall many times in Auschwitz and Birkenauer. And I know the story of Hitler and how Joseph Goebbels, he used manipulation to create fair in people. And that same Antichrist spirit started to rise up in Europe. And then I came to America and I was just like, it's big here in America. Like this is huge in America.

And we were trying to go through and go against some of those lives. We were doing 10 revival at the time of COVID. We were preaching against some of it. And the things was they ended up actually putting me in prison in America. So I've just been in prison, 412 days in America. Wait a minute. For something I haven't done. You were imprisoned in the United States of America for 412 days for what?

When they detained me, I was seeing asylum. Then I came, our officer called me in. The first thing he told me was that I was smuggling weapons from Mexico to America. Then later it became, I was part of human trafficking. Later, I became I was part of misbuse of people. And then I became a national threat. What state were you in? What city were you in when they arrested?

Florida. Florida. Where in Florida? Orlando, Florida. And I went to near Jacksonville. And what year and month were you arrested in Florida for these trumped up charges? June 30, 2000. I came out a month ago.

Okay, so a little bit over a year ago, you were arrested on all these preposterous charges. You're a pastor preaching. This happened in Florida with Ronda Santos as the governor, the least likely place in America I would expect to hear that something like this could happen. Who arrested you? Was this the federal government?

Who was this? I was, when you seek asylum, you were waiting for asylum interview. And one day I was called to come to interview in Orlando. It was a FBI task force who were behind it. And I came into the interview. I was in California, lived at that time, flew to Orlando, went into the interview. And suddenly they said, you are not going home today because we have heard that you were smuggling weapons from Mexico to America. And I was like, what is happening here? I have not been due with weapons, I don't know anything about weapons. And then I got detained. I was put isolation 10 days. Then I would put together with criminal people

who have been in jail for 20, 30 years for murder. And it started a roller coaster for me. And I was like, what is happening? I come to America to seek asylum because of religious persecution in Europe. And then later found out that the same people who was actually after me in Europe was the people who have the hands in the government in America and was involved there. And he actually came to the Congress where Clay Higgins, one of Congress member,

he actually stood up in the Congress in America. And they had been using months to investigate my case. And they said very clear that I was being targeted by the Biden administration because I am an evogenic Christian. And it goes back to my message. I come to America to say, wake up people in America, persecution coming to America. And now I became my example of that, that he actually came to the Congress that I'm being persecuted by this administration. Where is Clay Higgins a representative? What state is he from? Lucy N, I think. Okay, so Clay Higgins stood up for you in Congress and it said that the Biden administration had targeted you because you're an evangelical Christian because you're speaking against these things. So folks, do you understand how wicked this is? Do you understand what is happening? And before we continue with the story, Pastor Torben, I know there's a website where people can help you. So you come, you know, you're fleeing like in the 17th century from a religious persecution in Europe to America. And then you are persecuted in America so that you have gone back to Europe.

So what's the disposition of your family now? Yeah. My family is, we are like in no man land right now. We are just waiting. Our case is still running at the federal court in America. And we can get an answer.

every moment or they can go a few months. And the thing is now they need to look at it and like, what do you persecutions look like today? And that is the thing. It's changing today. Today you use the laws a lot to come after us. And then it's lies of manipulation. When I fled Denmark, come to America,

I got an email for some of those people behind me in Denmark. And they wrote to me, finally you come to America. So now we can. destroy you. I will get you to jail. And I got that email. Wait a minute. When I came here. Somebody who's been persecuting you in Denmark emailed you and said that by going to America now, you've made it possible for us to get you in America. How would people in Denmark have their ability to influence the Biden administration, the FBI? I mean, that is unbelievable. That is really sick.

It is. But I can tell so many stories. Just one thing. Two weeks before I got released or got sent home, two officers took me into a room, gave me some papers, wanted me to sign. I was not allowed to talk with my lawyers. I said, I have talked with my lawyers. I have a call in two hours. Can I just wait three hours? They were angry. They were saying, no, you have to sign right now, or we are going to federal prosecute you. and they were trying to make a case against me. And like the ICE officer, our attorneys have found out that the ICE officer who detained me, that he had been told that he called a civilian on the outside and told them that they should go to FBI and say I was in war on human trafficking. Two months after I was detained by the ICE officer, he tried to create a FBI.

a criminal case against me, and he wanted to get it on my records. So everyone who tried to help me, this suddenly saw I was on an investigation for human trafficking of FBI, and then everyone left the hands off me. And so the whole case is insane for everyone who looked at it, and it's happening in America. Try to imagine, a European guy come to America to seek asylum. Why? Because America, there was freedom. There was freedom. and he end up in jail.

And it's the same spirit you see is working right now. It's all over the media. It's all over the news. And it's the Antichrist spirit that is on a rise. I, in my book that I'm writing right now, it probably won't come out until April, but I'm writing about this. Because it seems obvious, exactly what you're saying.

It is an Antichrist spirit. We are seeing it manifest itself in the cancel culture, in lawfare. It knows no boundaries. I mean, it is an extraordinary thing. The corruption and the evil is everywhere. And I say to people, if you do not put your faith in Jesus now, there is no other answer to this.

Now, there are many things we can do and should do. But it's only because of our faith in Christ that we even have hope that our actions can mean anything. because the wickedness that is going on is terrible. Now, you have the friends of Torben.com. I want to promote that so people can help you and find out more about your story. But so you're currently hiding in Europe. You're being persecuted in the country of Denmark, which is your home country.

You're being persecuted in the United States of America. You're waiting to hear what's going to happen. What else is going on right now for you? I would say for me, it's really all connected. I feel back to the message I've called you to prepare the church for what is coming. Because when I came to jail, I was depressed. Like, I really broke down. After one month, one-a-half month, I was in a very, very bad place.

But then God really started to speak to me about the coming. secuse and what is happening. And I actually end up seeing revival in there. I baptized many people in life God's heal. It grew from dorm to dorm. I wrote two books on like a like here like a security pin. I can bend so I don't hurt anyone. I use over 30 of those pins. So I wrote two books and and God used that as a Bible school to really prepare the church for what is coming. And I want to say right now what we see is that right now is only the few. is the few who's being persecuted, the few who is standing out there in the front,

but it's not going to end with the few. Very soon it would be the many, but in the end, it would be everyone who confess Jesus' Lord. And we have the wrong idea that if we just close our eyes and hold our ears, that this would just disappear, and it don't influence us. But it is going to influence everyone who believe in Jesus. And it's really now we need to stand up and say,

something. Well, you're saying exactly what I have been saying for quite some time now. Folks, it would be very wonderful if Pastor Torben and I were deeply mistaken. This would be a delightful thing. I'm very sorry to tell you. It doesn't seem that we're mistaken. It seems that God is trying to use us and others to speak to you and to wake you up. What I have said over and over, I say it in my book letter to the American Church, if you don't see the parallels between what happened in Germany and what's happening now, you're blind. Because there is no doubt that what happened in Germany because of the silence of the church, the inaction of the church, it enabled the government, the Nazi government, to crush the church, to destroy real Christians as they were

destroying Jews. The point is that it was the silence of the church that opened the door. It was the inaction of the church that opened the door. So when you do nothing, you're helping these things to succeed, which is why I'm saying to everyone I know, you can give your pastor a copy of a letter to the American church. But I want to tell you, folks, probably you need to leave the churches that if you cannot convince your pastor pretty quickly to repent of his inaction, you know, action and his silence in the face of evil, which is exactly what enabled Pastor Torben to go through this hell, then you need to get out of that church and you need to tithe to another church. And those people are hearing your voice today, which is really that they're hearing God's voice, trying to use you to wake them up to what is happening to what is coming and to their job in standing against it with everything they have. What else can you tell us? I would say we can learn so much from the prosecutor church. And I think it's time for us to really start to look at them and how they were preparing to go through suffering and to stand up. because what we see right now is we see the terrorists and the weed grow inside by side and the persecution is going to increase and increase and increase. But I truly also truly believe we are going to see a revival now. I truly believe it's like it's decision time.

Do I want to live in revival and see it? Or do I want to just be, and together that persecution is coming, or do I want to live that good compromise in life? And I want to say, we baptized five people, baptized five people in jail. We had Bible studies who grow from dorm to dorm. The most beautiful communion I've ever had was there on a jail floor. The most beautiful baptism was in jail. And to read the Bible in jail, Paul's words, and the Bible become alive in a very, very new way.

So I want to say, I don't want to put fear in people because God was really with me. but it's not something to play with at the same time. It's really scary. And now we don't know what to do. Like we are standing here. And we have got a taste of what is waiting, not only us, but the church in the future. So I would say, wake up church. It is scary, but we have a hope in Jesus Christ.

I want to say to my audience, and this is something I'm saying more and more and more, you've got to do something. If you do not act, your faith is useless. God commands us to act out of our faith, to live out our faith. Otherwise, we're pretending we have faith. So to do what we can. Now, when I hear about all this stuff, Pastor Torben,
