Welcome to the Eric Mattaxas show.
Would you consider yourself smart, insightful, precocious, astute, clever, wise beyond your years, and good at checking a cesaurus for synonyms?
Well, then you've come to the right place.
Here now is the handsome, attractive, striking, gorgeous, and quite frankly, breathtaking, Eric Mat, Texas.
Hey, folks, welcome back.
As you know, there's this thing out there called L-O-O-R-TV.
The guys behind that have become friends, Jason Farley, and Marcus Pittman.
Welcome back.
Thank you for having us.
Thanks for having us again.
Well, listen, first of all, I want to talk to you about this book idea that you have for me because I love it when people have book ideas for me.
Like, I got an idea.
You got to write it.
Okay.
All right.
Let's see what you got.
So I want to find out what your book ideas.
I want to talk to you about the book idea.
But just for folks that are not aware of what L-O-O-R, what L-O-R, what L-O-R, please remind my audience.
Yeah.
So we built a streaming platform.
that allows the monthly subscribers to spend their monthly subscription dollars
actually funding the movies and TV shows.
So instead of your subscription, going to woke Hollywood liberals
or really cheesy faith-based movies that you have no say in,
you actually get to decide what sort of films and TV shows that you fund.
And then once the subscribers together funded the project,
it streams on the platform for everyone to watch.
And it's just we're just going,
we're just trying to reclaim normal stuff.
storytelling.
Right.
It just, yeah, just normal stories.
And if people want to find out they can go to L-O-O-O-R. TV.
Yeah, and you can get a free seven-day trial, subscribe, and then, you know, give it some time and
start funding projects like barely biblical, which is animated teddy bears reenacting the
most Old Testament Bible stories.
That's our most popular show right now.
You mean the most violent Old Testament Bible stories?
Oh, they say popular?
Exactly.
Well, those are the most popular ones.
So it's stuffed bears reenacting the most violent Old Testament stories.
How beautiful.
It's a beautiful thing.
We're currently 60% funded for episode two, which will be about Eglon and Ehood.
And you can watch the trailer on.
Who can forget that?
The story of Egelon and Eivin.
I don't know.
I don't know that one.
But, okay, so you're almost funded to produce episode two where people kill each other.
People dressed as stuffed bears.
Okay.
So L-O-O-O-I.
R. TV.
All right.
So Chris Himes, my producer, my friend said that, hey, the lure guys have an idea for a book
you need to write, Eric.
I was like, oh, really?
Yeah, let's get them on the air.
So why don't you tell me about this book I need to write?
And I'm going to tell you about a forest you need to chop down.
Go ahead.
Well, it's actually about Sam Morris, who invented the telegraph.
Sam Morris, inventor of the Morse Code.
Samuel Morris.
Okay.
go ahead.
Yeah.
And, you know, this was sort of kind of after the first industrial revolution,
moving up to the second industrial revolution.
He was this amazing Christian.
And basically an American Leonardo da Vinci,
he was an artist and a painter,
and he was actually painting the portrait of Lafayette
when he got a mailed, a letter delivered to him through a horse.
And it said, hey, your wife has died.
And by the time you get this letter, she'll be buried and the funeral will have already taken place.
So take your time getting back and I hope you can finish the business that you have there.
And he was just haunted with this idea that communication was so slow that he wasn't able to get back even for the funeral of his wife.
And he wound up inventing the telegraph, which basically transformed the speed of communication from as fast as a horse could go.
to the speed of light in overnight.
And there's never been a technological shift in the history of the world
that has been that drastic from one moment to the next.
And so he was kind of...
What year roughly are we talking about when the telegraph was invented?
I want to say 1860s.
I don't have the exact date in front of me.
But I believe...
Right in the middle of the 19th century.
So when Abraham Lincoln was born,
communication was the same speed it had been since Julius C.
When Abraham Lincoln died, you could get a message to and from London from Washington, D.C. in two minutes.
Wow.
Yeah, I don't know if I'd love to know the year the Telegraph is invented because I feel like it was a little bit before that, but I might be wrong.
Anyway, since I'm not writing the book, who cares?
But no, but you seriously, so you, why did you have an idea?
why did you think I needed to write a book about Samuel Morris?
Like, why don't you write the book, you know?
Well, we want to write the script for the movie.
Oh.
Like, that would be our goal.
And so, because we think this is, this is, the reason this is, let me tell you why this
is, this is important.
As we've been trying to raise capital for lore and we're trying to disrupt Hollywood
with our technology and sort of decentralize and take power away from Hollywood executives,
we've found that Christians just aren't the risk takers when it comes to investing in technology and whatnot.
It's why we don't own AI.
We don't own any of the major social media platforms.
We really don't own anything but maybe real estate and chicken sandwich shops.
But when it comes to technology, which are great chicken sandwich, chick flay is great.
But when it comes to technology and innovation, we've sort of just given
that to the left. And the, you know, the deep state is taken over that. And it's really because we
don't have ownership. And so what happened with Sam Morris is he actually presented this idea
to the Supreme Court. The first telegraph words were from a scripture that said, what hath
God wrought? Speaking of the blessings of God. And the Congress said, there's no way we're going to
spend a hundred thousand dollars on a on a on a science and technology store on a toy that's a
science toy we're not going to do it um and so that actually left it open to the free market and all
these investors jumped in and within several years uh the the telegraph was built all over the
the united states and eventually get to cyrus field another christian several you know unbelievers
were trying to build a transatlantic cable, and none of them did it.
And so Cyrus Field comes, and he joins two ships together, and he says,
what God has put together, let no man take apart, and they do a prayer and a devotion in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean with the English boat and the American boat,
and they weld the cable together.
And there you finally are able to have the first transatlantic cable, which the king sent a message to the queen.
And basically, paraphrasing here, basically said, may this be used to use.
further the gospel and be neutral among all the nations. And then he had people writing poems,
praising God for this amazing invention. It was just this amazing time where Christians were
really pioneering. You're breaking up. I just want to say because at some point I was going to
say, when I wrote my book on William Wilberforce, Wilberforce born in 1759, died in 1833,
late in his life, he corresponded with Samuel Morris.
Samuel Morris was a Christian.
And I didn't know that until I wrote my book on Wilberforce.
I would just say, I don't know if you guys heard that,
that, you know, when I wrote my book Amazing Grace,
biography of Wilberforce, I recognized that Wilberforce was friends with Samuel Morris.
And that's when I learned that Samuel Morris is a Christian.
but his story is fascinating.
I mean, I looked him up after you guys had contacted us,
and he was a very big deal artist,
a very, very big deal artist, painter,
who then gets involved in inventing the telegraph.
I mean, he's just an amazing figure,
and there is a statue of him in Central Park,
just 72nd, just off of Fifth Avenue,
there's a statue of him that was put,
there, I believe, in the 1870s. But he's just a towering figure in American history. Most people
aren't that familiar with him. And I certainly don't think people are aware of his Christian faith.
I mean, I happen to be because I wrote the book on Wilberforce. But just 20 seconds left and then
we'll come back to you. But what else can we tell? He tells us about Samuel Morris.
Yeah, I think, you know, one of the amazing things is just the doctor who blessed, who wrote the
note to him reminding him that his wife was a gift from God.
And just the amazing amount of faith that he had is incredible.
Yeah, this was kind of normative in America way back when.
And I believe God is not done with this country.
So it's exciting to hear about Samuel Morris.
We'll be right back with Jason Farley, Marcus Pittman, the men behind Lure TV.

Welcome back, folks.
I'm talking to my friends, Jason Farley and Marcus Pittman.
These are the men behind Lure TV.
We're talking about Samuel Morse, the artist who then went on to invent the Morse code.
And yes, it was named after him.
He revolutionized communication by putting scientific knowledge to work.
He did not see any conflict between his scientific knowledge and Christianity.
In fact, quite the reverse.
He believed that education without religion is in danger of substituting wild
theories for the simple common sense rules of Christianity.
We're living in a time, you guys both know I wrote a book called This Atheism Dead, where I deal
with this issue, that we've all grown up in a world where science is wrongly pitted against
Christian faith or faith is pitted against science.
It is so preposterous.
Not only is science something that is consonant with faith and that the two can coexist, but way
more than that, it is out of Christian faith that we get what we call the modern scientific
movement. Most people aren't aware of this. It's why I wrote my book, is atheism dead? Because a lot of
people bought this narrative. It's a total lie. And Samuel Morris, it seems to me, is an example of why
it's a lie. He's one of these people that believed rightly that Christian faith should put us at the forefront
of innovation, of good, good progress as opposed to mere progress.
Yeah, it's one of the reasons that we need to be telling stories from the past is because
we've been lied to about the past.
And that's one of the things that Marxism depends upon is reframing, retelling the
narrative of the past and to make Christians seem unscientific, unadvanced, backward.
they retell stories about our relationship with science, not realizing or lying about the fact that so much of the scientific advancements happened because Christians finally get involved, and they bring to it an understanding that God's world is going to be predictable.
God's world is going to be understandable, that God's world is going to be controllable because we were given dominion over it by him.
We're the kind of creature that can take control of this kind of place.
Well, it's funny that one of the, we're getting started on a TV series version of my book is atheism dead.
And one of the reasons is to flip this narrative and to help people to understand that you've been lied to in the mainstream media over the decades that science is at odds with faith.
The opposite is true.
Genuinely the opposite.
And I have to admit with a lot of stuff, books that I write, I didn't mind.
know myself until I really looked it up and began to research how true that is. I mean,
because I think a lot of times we Christians buy the lie that somehow these things are at odds.
And then you realize, no, on the contrary, most of the greatest scientists ever were profound
Christians, whether it's Isaac Newton or Maxwell or all these people. And Morris is another
example of it. But I do think that we really, we have no idea.
We've lost the ability to be positive about the future.
And in other words, imagine being alive at a time like Samuel Morris when there's no way to get a message faster than the speed of a horse, as you put it.
There's no way.
And then by God's grace, somebody comes up with a way.
I mean, the fact that every phone right now that I can pull information out of this room about anything,
that there's some invisible pathways.
we almost have forgotten how to dream about what is possible, and we kind of act like God
doesn't care, but God does care, and he wants us to use science for his purposes to help people.
So suddenly I'm excited about the life of Samuel Morse, but are you guys actually talking
about writing a screenplay, did you say, making a film about his life?
Yeah, absolutely.
That's the sort of story that needs to be told, and there's really no place right now for a
story like that to be made and released and get out to the public. That's one of the reasons that we
have worked so hard to build a technology, to build a streaming service, to build people's
ability to fund artists directly, is because we believe we're in that storytelling war,
we believe that since the Garden of Eden, when the devil comes in and says,
hath god said you a storytelling war began and we have retreated from the storytelling arts including
history uh you used to history used to be called moral philosophy because you learned your morals by
learning the past learning the stories of the past and and who who were good men and who were bad
men and how their lives worked out and we need to have a platform we need a technology to be able
to get these stories to people or else we're just dependent on netflix to just feed us
garbage with our own money and Disney week after week.
And I think that the subscribers should have a say in the kind of content that goes on
these streaming platforms.
You used to have that with a box office ticket.
You used to be able to say, I want to go and see, I'm going to pay my money for this
movie.
And with streaming, it took all that sort of power away from the subscribers and gave it all
the way to the executives again.
And they can't determine which.
they can use that for political propaganda.
They can, you know, Netflix signed a massive deal with the Obamas to produce content for Netflix.
And then Reed Hastings, the CEO of Netflix, just gave $7 million to Kamala's campaign.
Right.
And that's your subscriber money.
Like, that's your monthly subscription going to Netflix.
It's like it's time to tell these streaming companies no.
And the way we can do that is not just boycott them, but actually put our money into
something that's building something.
And that is a long-term play.
We started with zero pieces of content on our platform.
We have about 55 pieces of movies and TV shows and pilots for episodes on our platform.
Now we started, as we said, the streaming platform with no content.
And now we actually have content.
And every project that gets funded, every movie, every TV show that gets funded is an inheritance
for future subscribers that come later, this abundance of stories.
telling one at a time.
So get in early now, start funding and determining what sort of content gets put up on
that platform.
And you're actually building that together with other subscribers.
And you said people can find it at lure TV, L-O-O-O-R dot TV?
Yes.
Okay.
Now, I'm going to ask you, you know, I keep hearing that people are throwing money at the
Obamas to, like, create stuff.
Have they created anything?
They did something on the national parks, which was just environmentalist stuff.
They did, didn't they do like some sort of race?
Like Michelle Obama attaches their name to certain projects on there.
And it's usually race driven critical race theory sort of background stuff.
I think that they're doing a sprawling epic called The Legend of Big Mike.
I hope so.
Yeah.
The legend of Big Mike.
You can look it up.
The Legend of Big Mike.
I don't know what it's about.
but I'm pretty sure that that's happening, man.
We'll actually make that.
Look, if they don't.
It's a dance contest.
If they don't make that, we'll make that.
That's what our platform is for.
For courageous stories like that.
Yes.
And Macron's wife is co-producing that.
I want to be very, very clear.
I want to be very clear of, you know, what's going on.
Well, listen, you know, we should be excited about what's possible.
think I talk about this a lot. A lot of Christians have lost hope. They kind of act like,
we're under judgment. It's over. The Antichrist be here in 10 minutes. And Jesus will be here
in nine minutes. So kickback. Don't do anything. And I feel like, you know, if that's true, fine.
But we're supposed to be busy in the meantime planning for the future. And we've had, I mean,
really, I think since the Jesus revolution, you know, around 1970, you've had Christians that have
had this bad theology. It's like it's all about getting saved and waiting for the rapture.
And you think, wait a minute, we're supposed to be doing things. And if Christians had been busy
living out their faith in every sphere, we'd be in a different world. But a lot of them just
kind of retreated. They don't vote. They just kind of think, what does it all matter? It's all going
to burn, man. God's on his throne. It's all going to burn. You know, very, very bad theology.
And creating beautiful things in the media like you guys are talking about and we're talking about,
that's really important. There are people out there looking for something to watch for their kids.
And, you know, when something comes out, like I mentioned this thing on PBS that I've been involved in, Odysseus Returns, you think, whoa, something great for the whole family.
Like, check it out. It's interesting. Christians should be at the forefront of that. So that's one of the reasons I'm excited for what you guys are doing. We should be the forefront of technology.
when I saw Elon Musk have that interview with Donald Trump recently,
and they start talking about what's possible,
I thought, this is so exciting.
Like, who knows what we might accomplish?
I mean, imagine if we can rest away the power from Big Pharma
and get our kids healthy and have, you know,
I think we have forgotten how to dream a little bit.
And so I thank you for.
A lot of that, oh yeah, just real quick.
A lot of that is, like you said, because of that
the eschatology that says the world's going to end very quickly.
And that affects our investment strategy.
You know, Marvel is only Marvel because it took 100 years of comic books and multiple generations
to get to the point that it's making as much money as it is today.
Same with Star Wars.
These sort of things, in order to build new IP, it takes a multi-generational plan.
All right, folks.
We've got to get busy.
L-O-O-O-R dot TV, Lour TV.
Jason Farley, Marcus Pittman, thank you.
To take over America, the new documentary
beneath sheep's clothing exposes the dark truth.
Marxism-Leninism ideology is being pumped into the soft heads of American's tunings.
America's schools have been turned into Marxist-Maoist re-education centers.
Here's the thing about communism.
When it comes knocking at your door, it doesn't say,
hi, I'm here to impoverish, enslave, and murder you.
It says, I'm here to liberate you from a business.
You take over the colleges of education, then you take over all the teachers, then you take over all the students, and thus you get the future.
Beneath sheep's clothing reveals the communist infiltration of America's education system, churches and media.
Will a political revolution be next?
Or will we the people wake up and reclaim our freedoms?
Destroy the opposing country through unconventional methods.
Take America without firing a shot.

Hey, the folks, welcome back.
Right now I get to talk to Pastor Tyler Feller, who has written a book and a devotional called Don't Stop.
Tyler, why, first of all, congratulations on the book, Don't Stop, but why did you call it Don't Stop?
That's kind of an obvious question, but I'm guessing it's going to lead us in.
to bigger things?
Well, I think there's an epidemic in our culture of people being destined by God to do something,
but getting hit by the waves of the world and giving up on it.
And my story began when I was 10 years old.
I ran for president of the United States, at least in my school, and went through the
primary process, convinced my whole class to vote for me, and then ended up winning
on the day of election, Bush v. Score.
My school voted me president.
I was a landslide victory.
We didn't have to wait for the results unlike what they had to.
And then Career Day rolled around and I dressed up like the president and my counselor went to take a picture of everybody in our class that was dressed up and she went from person to person.
And you know, like, Randy, you're going to be a bull rider or you're going to be a basketball player, Andrew.
When she got to me, she saw my tag and it said president, but she, I guess her eyesight was failing.
I don't know if she's a ways off.
And she said, Tyler, you're going to be a preacher.
And when she said that, there was like a prophetic destiny that was spoken into my life.
And I took off my president tag and put it in my pocket.
And I wanted people to guess what I was for the rest of the day.
And I think that very same thing of God highlighting the people,
even when they were young, about the thing that he created them to do,
is somewhere in the thread line of our faith.
And for me, I kind of latched on to it and pushed through all the obstacles that I've gone through
and came up through the ranks with really amazing, talented, anointed people
that I know gave up on the gift and dream that God's placed in their heart.
Oh, this is big stuff.
This is heavy.
because you're right that, I mean, anybody who's serious about his faith knows
God created me for a purpose.
I'm not just here.
I'm not just here.
And let me figure out what I can do.
No, no, no, folks.
God created you to do great things, whatever that means,
because it means different things in everybody's life.
But to buy into that idea, to say, God created me for his purposes.
and there's something glorious about that.
It's interesting to me that you were that young and that somehow you received this word.
Now, not everybody's going to get that.
Most people are not going to get that.
But that you were that young and somehow you knew this.
That would not normally happen to a young kid.
Well, I just think the scripture says all things are possible with God.
And when we're kids, we actually believe that.
We have dreams and aspirations.
We can issue for the sky, shoot for the moon, and we give up on that.
And I think a couple of reasons happen.
We're sometimes touched by evil, and, you know, there's trauma and abuse and things that happen.
And then other times we have mistakes, and there's natural consequences to that.
And it creates barriers and resistance for people that they have to learn how to get through.
And that's a big challenge.
So the book is titled, Don't Stop, Learn to See Your Failures and Struggles as Opportunity.
So why do you go there?
Now, this is one thing to acknowledge God has a calling on my life.
I have a purpose, which is very, it's been very important to me personally.
I want to say that.
I don't really talk about this, but it's at the center of everything that I know that when I got saved,
God has a purpose for me, a big purpose, and there have been tremendous struggles.
I don't talk about it very much, but it's been tough, and it is tough.
So why did you title the book, Don't Stop?
In other words, is that really the central issue that there are people who somehow they give up?
I mean, you just said that, but that strikes me as the central theme.
Absolutely, they give up, but it's not just in their own sort of volition that they give up.
There's a real enemy that is roaring through the earth trying to seek and devile.
The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy.
And what happens is the devil swallows up our purpose, swallows up our destiny, and tries to create us to be apathetic.
And if there's any time in our culture where we actually need to rise up, be aggressive for the gospel of Jesus Christ, step into the destiny that he has for us.
It's right now.
There's a spirit of division in the land and people need hope.
And whatever it is that you're destined by God to do, I can promise you this, is to bring hope to lost and dying people around.
It's to be the light of the gospel.
It's to carry the aroma of Christ.
Well, that is beautiful.
And I can attest to this, folks, that just as much as God has created us and appointed us.
us for great things. And when I say great things, I don't mean in a, in the fleshly carnal sense,
like, you're going to be this or you're going to be. Whatever God says you're going to be,
it is great, whatever it is. If it's just a good father and a husband, whatever God has called
you to do, but we similarly have an enemy. And there are a lot of Christians that don't understand
that that if you take seriously God's calling on your life to do what he's created you to do,
you're going to bump up against the enemy.
And you need to deal with that and know that God wants you to deal with that,
not just to say, well, I guess, you know, it's just too hard and maybe I won't do it
or maybe God doesn't care.
God does care.
But so talk about that.
How do people deal with that?
Well, and you mentioned struggles earlier.
I think that's something everybody can relate to.
I was really touched one time by the words of Mr. Rogers when he says in the middle of tragedy
and disaster, look for the people that are bringing hope because there's always hope
I've learned that if you have the most hope in the room, you typically have the most influence. People love optimism and there's something about that. And just in my own life, like many people, I was really impacted by COVID. I spent about six months in and out of the hospital, was bedridden for an additional about six months.
Dealing with long COVID issues, had to step away from ministry and actually went through a season where I felt like, I don't know if I'm going to be able to be used meaningfully by God again. I don't know if I'm going to get my voice back. I don't know if I'm going to be able to stand on the stage or behind a pulpit.
and the voice of the enemy sort of got into my mind,
and I had to recalibrate my system to say,
no, that's one plan that the devil has,
but that's not the destiny that God has for me.
And I started practicing communion every day,
multiple times a day.
In fact, every time that I felt sort of this flare up from the enemy,
I would take his body, which is wholeness for us,
and I would take his blood, which is healing for us,
and I wouldn't just think of it symbolically,
but I would think of it.
This is big.
This is big.
This is big.
We're going to return to this.
in a second. This is huge stuff. The book is Don't Stop. Learn to see failures and struggles as opportunities.
Tyler Feller is my guest. Don't go away. Welcome back. I'm talking to Pastor Tyler Feller.
And the new book is called Don't Stop. Learn to see your failures and struggles as opportunities.
Tyler, you were just saying something that really hits me hard that sometimes, and it has happened to me,
I have really struggled in my walk.
not in faith with the Lord, but just in terms of the enemy coming in, things coming in to really
crush you, to fatigue you, to make you want to give up, and recognizing that this is spiritual
warfare and going to war against the enemy with what God has given us to do.
And this is practical.
In other words, this is practical.
Sometimes it's to do something, to acknowledge, I need to do something.
For you, you just said it's taking communion.
Talk more about that, because that is very powerful.
Well, I was always taught that communion was symbolic,
and I get it in the sense that I'm holding a wafer and Jews.
But whenever I read scripture, I think of it as a transaction between our hearts and the hosts of heaven,
and we can actually invite wholeness and healing into our bodies in those moments.
And I used it as a tool to do just that.
I would retrain my brain to say, the devil wants me to be on disability,
the devil wants me to be stuck in a bed.
the devil doesn't want me to use my voice, but that's not what God wants me to do.
And so if I have a pulse, I have a purpose.
Eight days old or 88 years old, God wants you to do something.
And so I actually would break the bread and take the juice.
I would take his body and his blood.
Every time that I had sort of a flare-up, every time that I had even a thought that was
counter what God was saying.
And those super highways that the devil had built became rural routes.
And I rerouted my brain.
The Bible calls it the transforming of the renewing over mind.
Science calls it neuroplasticity.
but I allowed my brain to be reformed in the way that God wants for me to be reformed.
And it gave me hope.
And then if you carry most hope, you have the most influence.
And you write about this in the book, what you just described.
I write about that.
I write about how to hear God's voice, which I think is the other key element.
How to hear God's voice.
I mean, yeah, this is, folks, these things are important.
You really can't be who God made you to be unless you practice these various disciplines.
that, you know, we're human beings. We're not just brains. We're human beings. And doing things,
like you mentioned, taking communion, it's visceral. It's real. And by the way, in case people don't
know, the grape juice is a symbol for wine. That was a joke. Yeah, unless you're an alcoholic,
I would go with the symbol of wine, but that's on you. I got to tell you, when you talk about,
you know, rewiring your brain, I know Christians that they,
They have fallen into this hopelessness.
And I want to rebuke them.
I want to encourage them.
I want to say, no, no, no, no, no.
You wouldn't talk to somebody else the way you're talking to yourself.
Yeah.
You wouldn't say, what does it matter?
You're a loser.
Your failure.
Look at all the failure.
That's the voice of the devil.
We need to recognize it as the voice of the devil.
And no, it's not true.
It is a lie.
And so it seems to me that when you went through this long COVID, I mean,
anybody who's been through chronic illness or anything like that, that is one place.
And it's happened to me where the enemy can really get in there because when you're exhausted,
you're fatigued, that is a place where those negative thoughts can have a field day.
Yeah.
Well, in my case, I was strapped to a hospital bed.
But one of the things that I realize, too, is that people often are thrown into a pit by the devil
and they think that they're the one who dug their own hole.
And they don't realize that what the devil did to them is not who they are.
And so if they can get clarity to hear God's promises over their life, some of those prophetic words,
the Bible says if you don't have a vision for your life, that you will die, that you will perish.
So you've got to connect to what God's heart is for your life.
And those things actually pull you out of that pit.
Say something about clearing our blind spots.
That is something that I wanted you to talk about.
I think it's so important to have people around you that can speak to your strengths, but also call out your weaknesses.
And one of the issues that I think happens in our culture today is a lot of times it's a little bit of a clan mentality, especially in the body of Christ, me and my four are no more.
It's your family and you're sort of just doing your thing.
But we need to invite people who sometimes don't look like us or act like us to be invited into vulnerable spaces with us so that we can present ourselves to them in such a way that they can actually use the Holy Spirit insight.
And we can trust them and they can speak to us about that.
So having a network of friends that we can be accountable and vulnerable to allows us to.
clear out some of those blind spots.
Well, you also talk about being resilient.
What do you think it is?
I mean, it's interesting to me how sometimes we get hit and we kind of buy the lie and
just kind of like we lie down.
We don't understand that we're in a war.
I mean, I think that there are a lot of Christians that don't understand you're supposed
to be in a war.
You're supposed to be in a war.
God has created you to war against evil.
And when you're attacked, not to accept it, but to say, no, no, no, this is an attack.
This is not me and my failures.
This is an enemy that does not want me to do what God has called me to do.
I think that's where we have to learn again to hear the voice of God.
It's a simple prayer that I use.
I stole it from the Bible.
It's just speak, Lord, your servant is listening.
And I added a little extra to it and ready to respond.
And when you're able to do that, you wake up every day, your boots hit the ground, and you are on mission for the Lord.
So when you say, you know, to hear the voice of God, everybody hears from the Lord in different ways.
And I don't think everybody needs to think, like, oh, I have to hear an audible voice or I have to, whatever.
But the idea is that God wants to guide us and speak to us.
And I think there are a lot of people that they're not so convinced.
And I have gone through tough stuff over the years and decades.
But just to note, the Lord wants to steer you.
He wants to steer you.
So you obviously pulled out of this COVID thing, and this has become a passion for you.
We've just got a minute left.
But talk about this, that this has become your central theme.
And again, the book is Don't Stop.
Yeah, I think my theme is really intimacy with Jesus and making him the prize.
Like, God doesn't call us so that we can build a platform for ourselves or even to look good in the eyes of others,
but so that we can have a deep committed relationship with him.
And so just in the final minute, I would encourage people say that prayer,
speak Lord, your servant is listening, ready to respond.
He could speak to you through scriptures, desires, doors, dreams, people, promptings, and pain.
Those are seven ways that God speaks to you.
And I would encourage you, take communion every single day, take the wine, take the bread,
thank him for his body, thank him for his blood, and expect that something supernatural would happen,
that you would experience God, you would receive wholeness and healing.
I love it.
People can look you up.
Tyler Feller Ministries.
the book is Don't Stop.
And you have a podcast called Deep Waters.
Deep Waters.
I like that.
So what is the, what's the best website for you, Tyler?
Yeah, just my name, www.
Tylerfeller.com.
TylerFeller.com.
And as I think I said, you're in the Nashville area.
A joy to speak with you.
Folks, the book is Don't Stop.
Learn to see failures and struggles as opportunities.
A lot of powerful stuff.
Tyler. Thank you, Eric.
Really appreciate it being on today.
Hey, folks, before we go for the day, we've got a lot of things, exciting things that we
try to mention.
We have friends.
When we can.
We have friends.
And I got to ask you, Chris, did you homeschool your kids, any of them?
Yeah.
In fact, we kicked it off this week.
It was like a back-to-school week.
We're homeschooling, but we're also part of a group that meets once a week of other
homeschooling kids.
Why not just farm it out to the government who can indoctrinate them with Marxist-Godless
doctrine?
I mean, it's free.
They've run out of pronoun.
The government's run out of pronouns.
The government has finally run out of pronouns.
We told you what happened.
I told you.
Well, if you're interested in homeschooling
or if you're interested in quality K-12
Christ-centered education,
we want you to know about our friends
at the Herzog Foundation.
They are there to help you
educate your kids and grandkids
in a way that will prevent them
from becoming Marxist maniacs.
Honestly, this is,
very important. Everywhere I go around the country, I meet kids that have had this kind of
education, and they are just head and shoulders above anybody else. So I recommend it highly.
Go to HerzogFoundation.com, and they have a website, readlion, R-A-D, readlion.com.
HerdsogFoundation.com. Actually, we should also mention our friends at the Heritage Foundation.
They are the ones. In case he didn't know, you keep hearing about Project 2025, which
is awesome. Project
2025, you can find it at
25truth.com.
The
Kamala Marxist left
has been demonizing
the Project
2025. Yeah, I think they got scared because they were
identifying like... Because you're going to jail.
Well, identifying qualified people that could help
jump in with the Trump administration
when they need to hire. You know,
you hear about the administration who's still
looking to staff up for
programs are doing. And this is a way to kind of help.
They're not interested in hiring Mike Pence.
Right.
So who are they going to hire?
Well, there's other people.
So these guys are helping to find those people in advance, which really saves a lot of time.
So 25truth.com is the website.
That's the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025.
There is great stuff on there.
It was on a thread on Twitter some weeks ago that was hilarious stuff.
But, you know, how to take our country back to, you know, the founder's vision.
So 25truth.com is the website.
That's the Heritage Foundation.
and Donald Trump does not endorse this message.
It's actually very exciting, very exciting.
On the break now, I was just talking to my guest, Tyler,
the book is Don't Stop.
And I was saying that this idea of taking communion,
I feel like part of the problem, you know,
with the evangelical churches,
we throw out liturgy and tradition and ritual.
We say it's all, you know, surface stuff.
It's just religion.
It's just, you know, dead religion.
And well, it can be.
It can also be powerful.
Ritual can be powerful when God is in it.
And communion is one of those things that is meant to be powerful.
And you talked about you don't just do this privately, but you've begun to do it corporately and you've seen God use it.
I said, before we go, I want you to talk about that.
Yeah, we take a couple of minutes in these corporate gatherings that actually began in my living room,
but now we have about a thousand people coming.
And every single time when people gather, we take communion.
I explain sometimes a little bit of my story,
explain that it's a transaction between our hearts and heaven.
We've had hundreds of people receive salvation.
And every single gathering, there's dozens of people that actually receive healing.
In fact, we were telling Dr. Randy Clark about it.
He shared our testimony and did it at his conferences.
The whole conference took communion.
He was sharing our testimony of what happened.
And they're seeing the same thing happen.
And God's actually on the move through communists, revival-like activity,
salvation, healing, and even deliverance at times.
And you mentioned healings just from having communion.
Yeah.
I think that that's one of the most powerful things because the price for healing was actually paid in the atonement.
And so when people can start to understand that,
and we've had before and after pictures of people walking in, for example,
with a swollen ankle.
And as soon as they take communion, that ankle goes back to normal size.
We've seen cancer disappear.
major, major testimonies and healing taking place through just a time of community.
It's not about anybody laying hands on somebody.
It's not about some kind of crazy prayer that has to be said by an anointed person up front.
It's about people connecting their hearts to God and believing that a transaction with God's possible.
This is big stuff.
I just wanted to get that in.
Folks, you can go to Tylerfeller.com.
Tyler, again, thank you for all of this.
Powerful stuff.
