Starting point is 00:00:09 Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready to listen to a man of grace, sophistication, integrity, and whimsy? Well, so are we. But until such a man shows up, please welcome Eric Mat, Texas. Folks, welcome back. I am talking to Victoria Jackson, who is in Paris in a museum, the Mise de Orsay. Before we went to the break, we were talking about a couple things, and I was reminding people that my favorite restaurant, in New York is Orsay on 75th in Lexington. And if anybody gives $15,000 to CSI, that's a lot of money, but I know that there are many people listen to this program who can do that. It will free, it will enable CSI to free 60 slaves.
Starting point is 00:01:00 Our goal this year is 676. So as of today, we've only freed 165. God bless you if you've given. and helped us to do that. But we have a long way to go. And obviously, we're hoping everyone will participate. Some people can participate at a lower level. But whatever you can do, folks, we kind of need everybody to join us.
Starting point is 00:01:26 So please go to Metaxisttalk.com and click on the banner. And I'm going to give the phone number to. Vicki, bear with me. I want to give this phone number to my audience here. ladies and gentlemen the phone number is 888 253 3522 888 253 3522 888 2528-28-28-253-253-3522 please join us in this folks so Vicki we're talking about art and you were just telling me about a painting the title of the painting is Salvador Monday presumed to have been painted by Leonardo da Vinci. There was a big documentary on it.
Starting point is 00:02:12 It seems that it actually was painted by Leonardo da Vinci, but there's some skepticism about that. So what have you learned? It doesn't matter. The lady who our tour guide is an art major and, I mean, an art expert or whatever. And she said, I think it's ugly. And I think it's ugly, too. but the point is
Starting point is 00:02:36 value is in the eye of the beholder beauty is in the eye of the beholder another cliche but I'm saying all this to lead to the fact that in high school I wrote a poem called an old stamp and I can't remember it I'll find it
Starting point is 00:02:54 and I'll read it on your next show what's the title of the poem an old old old old stamp S-T-A-M-P and it I wrote, it was in the high school newspaper. And it was basically about the fact that,
Starting point is 00:03:12 there's an old stamp on a letter in the garbage. It's worth nothing. But someone who collects stamps would pay a lot of money for that stamp. So the value is in what the buyer is willing to pay for it. And then I compared it like a metaphor to Jesus. We were worth so much to Jesus. that he died for us. We were so much value to God that he came down as Jesus and died,
Starting point is 00:03:45 suffered and died for us because he individually, because he loved us so much. We were so much value to him. And so he paid the ultimate price, his life and rose again. But anyway, I was just comparing in my palm and high. high school, you know, that, that concept. Well, that's very advanced, Vicki, that you were writing a poem like that in high school. That's really cool.
Starting point is 00:04:13 I almost never meet people that have skipped grades. That's like a big deal to skip a grade. And I took an IQ test in high school, and I won't share that on the program. But it's kind of interesting because it's one thing to be given the gift of intelligence. I mean, a lot of people in the world are given different gifts. So the question, of course, is what do you do with the gift, right? Some people use the gift for self-aggrandizement, for manipulating other people, and other people use the gift to God's glory.
Starting point is 00:04:46 So that's, of course, the question. So the gift is incidental. What one does with the gift is what matters. And I know that's the thing you understand. I was telling a joke. I was telling a joke. my dad really did take me to the University of Miami, and he really did give me an idea,
Starting point is 00:05:09 and they really did not tell us the score. But this is a joke from my act, because when I say, they said it would affect, if they told me the score it would affect our lives forever, everybody's laugh. You're supposed to laugh. I don't get it.
Starting point is 00:05:26 The point is they might say it's really low, and that would affect my life forever, or they might say it's really high, and that might affect my life forever. So they wouldn't tell us. Well, that. You don't get, you don't get it? I just thought you were being serious that you, you know, if.
Starting point is 00:05:42 I'm not being serious. I'm not smart. I am not smart. I am the best in the world. I'm an expert at playing an hairhead because I am one. I am not smart. Hickey, you just said you skipped second grade. Yeah, what do you learn in second grade?
Starting point is 00:05:58 That's what my husband says. You're not making any sense. you're not making any sense. You skip second grade. Why would you skip second grade? You have to be judged to be very bright to skip a grade. I mean, I skipped the grade. You're not going to learn anything.
Starting point is 00:06:16 We need to put you in the next grade. So if you skip a grade, you're at least very bright. Yeah, all I skipped was math, which I'm terrible. No, all they teach you in second grade is cursive. Vicki, you're the only person, you're so frustrating. You're the only person that would skip a grade and make it sound like it's not because you were smart. That's so ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:06:42 Yeah, but how smart can you be in second grade? Like maybe I know two plus two. No, Vicki, you're absolutely wrong. You're absolutely wrong. Then why wouldn't they skip everybody in second grade? That's a special thing to skip a grade. It's not always a good idea. Sometimes I regret it.
Starting point is 00:06:58 but it's clearly the teachers saying that, you know, you're very bright and we should put you in the next grade. So, you know. Well, I wish I hadn't skipped because then I was always the youngest. And then when everyone turned into a woman, I did not. Let's not go there. You know, we have that in common because I never turned into a woman either. And it's haunted me.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Yeah. It's really haunted me. No, but actually, in all seriousness, Skipping a grade, it's a weird thing because I was already small. I mean, my mother's five feet tall, so I was never, never big. But then when you skip a grade, you're even smaller. So I was like the smart brain. And it kind of, in some ways, that's not a great thing.
Starting point is 00:07:46 But I didn't know, or maybe I forgot because I forget stuff, but you, I didn't know that you skipped the grade. And look, you make fun of it, you make light of it, but you're obviously very intelligent. You're writing poems in high school? No. No, no. I'm not smart. What I want to say because we're going to end soon is my favorite art.
Starting point is 00:08:09 My favorite art is realism with a tiny spot of humor in it. Vicki, you kill me. You just, you kill me. Okay, folks, before we continue with Vicki, I've got to tell you about our friends at the Heritage Foundation. The head of the fair, now, by the way, the Heritage Foundation is behind Project 2025. If you want to know what's in that, because people have been talking about it like crazy, the liberals are kind of freaking out about Project 2025.
Starting point is 00:08:42 If you want to find out what's in it, and I recommend you go there, it's 25thruith.com. That's 25thruith.com. 25th, truth.com. Project 2025 is the Heritage Foundation's, like, what do they call it? It's like a mandate for leadership. What do we do if we get, you know, if Donald Trump gets elected? And by the way, he got elected, and I hope that he takes Project 2025 as a template to accomplish much of what he can accomplish. But I want to say that the president of Heritage Foundation is Dr. Kevin Roberts.
Starting point is 00:09:19 He has a new book out called Dawn's Early Light. It's about how we get our country back from the globalist lunatics that have taken it over. It's Dawn's Early Light by Dr. Kevin Roberts. It's a blueprint for taking our country back. The message, of course, is to the global elites. Your time is up. Goodbye. Americans are taking the country back.
Starting point is 00:09:40 Okay, so you can check out the Heritage Foundation on the web. And don't forget our campaign with CSI, we need your help. Metaxistalk.com. Metaxistalk.com. Please help us. Starting point is 00:11:01 because they protect and free those who are being persecuted and enslaved for their faith. Thanks to you to date, CSI has freed more than 100,000 people from slavery in Sudan, but the work is not done yet. It's estimated that there are still tens of thousands more still in bondage, and CSI is preparing right now for their final slave liberation of this year. I'm hoping you'll join me and help them liberate another 300 women and children. Your gift of just $250 will free a woman in Sudan who has been enslaved for years and provide her with food and other supplies necessary to start her new life.
Starting point is 00:11:35 Call 888-253-3522. 888-253-3522 Christian Solidarity International, freeing and healing captives in Jesus' name. Go to metaxistalk.com. Metaxistalk.com. Click on the Christian Solidarity banner. Metaxistalk.com or 888-2533522. God bless you. Folks, welcome back.
Starting point is 00:12:08 I'm talking to Victoria Jackson, who claims to be in Paris. We have no proof. Vicki, are you really in Paris? Be honest. Yes, of course I am. I never lie. You know that. And I'll send you pictures.
Starting point is 00:12:22 A video. I'll send you a video right after we hang up. Well, I believe, no, I really do. Of course I believe you're in Paris. But it's amazing to me that, you know, I'm talking to you. and you're in Paris. You're actually at a museum. So if I can ask you, because it's, you know,
Starting point is 00:12:37 Christmas is coming up like very soon. So my question to you is, what are you doing for Christmas? Our whole family's coming over to my house on the mountaintop in Tennessee. My two daughters, their husband, my four grandchildren, and my friend might be with us. and we're going to read the Bible story, open presents, eat, and praise the Lord and laugh.
Starting point is 00:13:11 And I can't wait. And oh, and in my living room, there's a big cardboard cut out of Trump because I'm so happy he won. Can you, it's like we've lived through some nightmare. I mean, honestly, and in fact, we have lived through a nightmare. I mean, the last four years. Yes, we did. And my friends and I prayed, we prayed for Trump to get in office for four years. So many people.
Starting point is 00:13:47 So many, so many people were praying. I mean, God answers every prayer, but there's no doubt that his hand is on this country. And it was not, there were so many people that they were very ready to accept the idea that, you know, it's over. We're going to the end times. goodbye, who cares? And I thought, that's not right. And so I was exhorting people to pray that God would deliver us from the nightmare in which we found ourselves. And it's such a beautiful thing. So many Americans fasted and prayed. And it really, we don't deserve it, but by the grace of God, we have the gift of being able to take our country back. I was mentioning that before we went to the break.
Starting point is 00:14:31 I think, you know, it's, Suzanne, my wife, it says it's like every day is Christmas when you realize Trump is going to be in the White House and we're going to have sanity and we're going to be the country back from the bureaucratic blob that, you know, that hates the founder's vision of liberty. I mean, it's a beautiful thing that we get to do that. It's cool from God. And I am so grateful to say.
Starting point is 00:15:03 Thank you, Jesus. Thank you. And we can have freedom for four more years. And Lord, we are praying for God to protect him. Wasn't that amazing when the bullet just missed him? How amazing that is? I don't know what you're referring to. Was that the news? Very funny. Two times. So seriously, it was the most dramatic thing. And it's sometimes I think, I believe God allowed that to happen to show. show us that God is in control. You know what I'm saying? Because if the bullet had missed him by a mile, we'd have the same result. He would be alive.
Starting point is 00:15:42 But the fact that the bullet nicked him and drew blood, you know, and enabled him to kind of come up with blood on himself and say fight, fight, fight. It's a moment that will live, you know, as long as there are people, we will remember that moment in American history. It's so beautiful. Yes. And we know what he was saying. He was saying, fight for freedom.
Starting point is 00:16:03 worship. Jesus, fight for freedom to put pedophiles in jail. Fight for freedom to speech so that we can communicate and not be censored. That's what his fight was all about. We get it. Good people get it. Most people in America do get it, at least I hope so. Listen, I don't want to forget, because we're getting so serious talking about art.
Starting point is 00:16:28 We're talking about, you know, history. but five years ago, Vicki, five years ago, doesn't seem possible. Five years ago, you joined me in filming a Christmas special, a wacky New York retro song and dance comedy Christmas special. And I am posting clips of it on my Instagram account. I know, I saw, but I was 20 pounds, better than, so I wish you would not. Well, there's nothing you can do about it.
Starting point is 00:17:05 You sign the papers. We own you. There's nothing you can do. Your lawyer can talk to my lawyer. I don't have a lawyer. Vicki, listen. Tell your viewers. Tell your viewers, the cancer has one asset.
Starting point is 00:17:17 It made me lose weight, so I look much better now. Well, we can film another Christmas special, but you looked great in the Christmas special. You could say what you want. You looked so great, and we've got videos. So we're going to be putting it up on my Instagram account. We have the sketch, which Chris Himes, my producer, he's on the line now. He wrote two sketches, and they're brilliant. They're very funny. Chris, of course, worked at SNL. You worked at
Starting point is 00:17:46 SNL. You were one of the main people at SNL. But Chris worked there. He has a comedy background, and he wrote these brilliant sketches. One of them, my favorite one is where I played Santa and you played the woman in human resources who's scolding Santa. You remember this, of course. I was like, who is that fat lady? You don't look fat. You look fantastic.
Starting point is 00:18:13 It was, but honestly, I was actually cracking up. Like, I was watching it and actually, even though I'm familiar with it, because I was in the sketch dressed as Santa, I was laughing. I said, this is actually hilarious. So we're going to post the whole thing on my Instagram account.
Starting point is 00:18:28 I don't know how many people. people listening to this program follow me on Instagram. But we're going to, maybe we should ask you to be a collaborator, and you can share it with your group, with your Instagram followers as well. But I'll cut my part out of it. No, stop it.
Starting point is 00:18:50 Vicki, you filmed me. You know, you looked so great. It was so wonderful. I'm really skinny now, so you should do a new Christmas special with the skinny DJ. Well, I'd love to do that. We can't do a Christmas special this year because we're only a week from Christmas,
Starting point is 00:19:06 but that's why we're posting this. And we're posting, we did a thing with me playing the role of this kind of cranky Greek man, which is. Yes, I love that. It's a compilation of real people that I know. So it's like it's, it's, there was a friend of my father's who was like a very cranky Greek guy. So it's kind of like 50% him and 50% this one and that one.
Starting point is 00:19:33 But we're posting that. That's a Greek Christmas. We're posting the stuff with you. And you and I sang marshmallow world. It was beautiful. That part was cute. You know, you know, the duet that I did with you of marshmallow world that we're going to be posting. I just did the same duet with James O'Keefe.
Starting point is 00:19:56 Oh, wasn't mine better? Well, of course it was better, but you know, you weren't there. We did it. We had the 25th anniversary of Socrates in the city. It was a black tie gala in Manhattan. And I sang a couple songs. I sang three songs. And then I called him up to do a duet with me.
Starting point is 00:20:16 And he's a wonderful singer. You know, he's not just a brilliant journalist. He's a great singer. I didn't know that. Well, who would? But I'm telling you. So I think I posted that on Instagram or I posted a clip of it on Instagram, but it's not the kind of thing that you would post on Twitter.
Starting point is 00:20:37 Like X is, I don't know, it's just kind of different. Sorry, I got distracted. It's okay. I guess I guess I want to mention to people, I don't want to forget, because I do forget about our campaign with CSI, folks, we need your help. I reiterate that every $250 that anyone gives goes to free a slave. This is a real thing. It's a glorious opportunity. And it doesn't just free a slave. It sets them up in a life of freedom. So they are freed, but then they are walked through. How do they get on in life? And that's just a beautiful thing.
Starting point is 00:21:29 So I want to recommend that. I also want to recommend. that you visit our friend Mike Lindell at Mypillow.com and use the code Eric. Mypillow.com, use the code Eric. That's a way to support the show. We need your help. Mypillow.com, use the code Eric or MyStore.com. All of my books are there. My Donald, the Caveman books.
Starting point is 00:21:53 You have to use the code Eric. And I check today. And the Miracles book is a very good price. Vicki, we've only got 30 seconds left. I really can't believe you're in Paris, but I know you don't lie. What should you say in the last 30 seconds? Mary Jesus, no matter what exactly he was born. I'm so happy he was born and lived and was crucified for us and rose again from the dead.
Starting point is 00:22:26 That is what a wonderful thing to end with. What a wonderful thing to end with. Well, Vicki, I guess I'll see you when you come back to the United States. We'll figure it out. I want to get you back on the program. I want to talk to you when you get you. back to Tennessee. So we'll just plan on doing a follow-up. God bless you, my friend. Enjoy your special time with your friend, Laura. Bless you. I walked out this morning and I wrote down this song.

We are kicking off a new campaign with our dear friends at Christian Solidarity International. That's C-S-I.
Starting point is 00:25:18 We do this every year. We're kicking it off right now. This is about freeing slaves, ladies and gentlemen. This is an amazing thing that we get to do. So right now, let me welcome Todd Chapman with CSI. Todd, welcome back. It's always great to talk to you. And this is always just good news, pure good news, that we get to do this. Eric, we were so thankful for the longstanding partnership we have with you and so grateful for the difference that your listeners have made across so many years. I was actually looking back at how many slaves were freed in our year-end campaign last year. And it was north of 800 people freed from slavery out of North Sudan and returned to their home country of South Sudan, set on a whole new life and equipped to thrive and become self-sustaining for the first time ever. So thank you. God bless you. And we're hoping for, and praying for another big response this year. Well, I think, you know, a lot of people think this is too good to be true. Like I give $250 or some part of that or some multiple of that. And you're telling me, first of all, I think people have to say, oh, wait a minute, there's slavery in the world. Ladies and gentlemen, yeah, yeah, there is hard for us to fathom. But then the amazing news that I could give money and everybody. has some money, everybody has something. And I can do something that's an unmitigated good. It's just
Starting point is 00:26:48 extraordinary. And it's because you guys at CSI have been there forever. I mean, since what? It's 1977, you know, kind of doing, doing what you do. Yeah. Yeah. So CSI, it stands for Christian Solidarity International, founded in 1977, and really we're a human rights organization. And we work to stop religious oppression and free people that have been imprisoned for their faith in countries all over the world. We work in Africa, which is where this effort obviously is in Sudan, also work in the Middle East and in India. And Eric, you're right, there are more slaves today in the world than there have been at any other time in human history. And a lot of times we here in America, we're really kind of shielded from that reality. But the reality is there, people are enslaved all the time.
Starting point is 00:27:36 you see in Pakistan people having to make bricks for slave wages to try to buy themselves out of debt. And, you know, India, the same thing is going on. In Africa, in Sudan, this slavery, the slaves that you're freeing as you partner with CSI, many of them have been held in captivity since the 1990s. They were taken captive during the Sudanese Civil War, and they were allowed to be taken into North Sudan, and they've been there ever since. Many of these slaves have actually had children in slaves.
Starting point is 00:28:06 slavery. And so CSI since 1995 has been committed to freeing them. And every year, we do what we call slave liberations five times a year. We have slave retrievers that negotiate the release of these slaves. And then five times a year, we march two or three hundred back down into South Sudan and into freedom. We've actually got one more slave liberation coming up between now and the end of the year. So I'm really excited to have you as an Eric Metaxus listener give your very best gift right now so that we can finish this year, freeing more than 1,500 slaves. That's our goal. You know, this brings up some big questions, Todd, and I feel like I want to address this
Starting point is 00:28:46 up front. I think there are people probably who ask rightly, how can God allow this? How can God allow people to be literally enslaved, to be raped by masters, not in the distant past now? How can God allow this? And that's a big question, and it's a good question. But then I have to ask the follow-up question. God is allowing everyone who can hear my voice right now to do something about it.
Starting point is 00:29:14 And if you don't do something about it, let's be honest, you're allowing it. We allow evil to flourish. God gives us free will. So this is just an amazing opportunity. I mean, if somebody tells you about slavery, you know, in 1775 or 1840, there's nothing you can do about it, but advocate politically for its end and obviously pray for its end. But today we have the ability through CSI actually to do something. And this is something that I've been talking about for a long time.
Starting point is 00:29:46 It's faith in action, folks. God somehow, he allows evil, and then he allows us to participate with him in overturning evil, in undoing evil. But faith is not enough. We've got to put our faith into action. That's God's will. So I want to say right out of the gate, there's a banner at metaxistalk.com. Metaxistalkis talk.com.
Starting point is 00:30:10 It's all there. You click on the banner and it leads you through to – you'll see everything there. Metaxistalkis talk.com. There's a banner. There's a phone number 888-253-3522. I'll be repeating it throughout the show. 888-253-3522 and the banner metaxistock.com. but we do this to enlist you who are listening to this program to say,
Starting point is 00:30:36 please be part of the solution. There's real evil in the world, but God has given us the ability, in this case, to do something about it. And it's just a magnificent opportunity. Before we go to our break, I want to say it again, folks, the phone number. And I really hope folks will do this today. We really, when we have an opportunity like this, I mean, every year, it's a moment.
Starting point is 00:31:00 amazing we get to do this. The phone number is 888-253-3522. Please write it down. 888-253-3522. Everyone listening to my voice has the ability to do something. You can do something right now, anything, right now. You can give monthly, if that's better. 888-253-3522. This is a glorious opportunity to participate with God. We get to participate again with CSI, Christian Solidarity International, in doing something extraordinarily beautiful and good, freeing slaves, literally freeing slaves,
Starting point is 00:33:20 and putting them into a life of freedom, setting them up in a life of freedom. So we have our friend Todd Chapman from CSI to kind of give us the details on that. So, Todd, what is involved? I mean, we're asking people to give $250. And again, folks, whatever you can give, if you can give $25 a month or many people can give $10,000, we need everybody to participate at whatever level. But the question is when CSI says, okay, $250 does this. What is this, Todd? Tell us about that. Yeah, so first of all, I want to be really clear, because this is a question that comes up every year.
Starting point is 00:33:56 Well, are you, you know, buying the freedom of these slaves? Are you using some of the money that I give to, you know, to pay cash to free them? And no, we're not. We have never paid cash for any slaves. We've been doing this since 1995. And because the concern obviously would be, well, if you're creating a market, you know, by paying, you know, these slave owners cash, there's going to take more slaves. Well, the fact of the matter is they're not taking more slaves.
Starting point is 00:34:20 There are fewer Sudanese slaves than there were when we start. of this work 20, you know, 30 years ago. And every year, the number of them continues to decline because you give. Now, what we do do is we take some of the money that you donate and we procure a cattle vaccine because many of these slave owners are cattle ranchers and they can't get these vaccine that they need to keep their cows alive. And so we barter, you know, a slave in exchange for the vaccine. So there's that. And so the majority of your gift actually goes to providing a fresh start for these Sudanese slaves. They're mostly women, but we do have some men as well.
Starting point is 00:34:57 And now more and more we're actually able to negotiate the release of children along with their moms who have been enslaved and slaved for a long time. And so we give them what's called a bag of hope. We marched them down into South Sudan, about two, 300 at a time, a few times a year. And we have a camp there. We capture all of their information that we can get from them. We take photographs. We document their story.
Starting point is 00:35:17 If they know their name, and many of them don't, because they've been a lot. held in slavery since they were young children. But we try to capture that information so that we can ultimately reunite them with our family. That's our goal. But we also have to give them the resources that don't need to start a new life. So they get a tent. They get some bedding. They get grains.
Starting point is 00:35:36 They get a mosquito net. We give them a female goat that they can use for milk and also for breeding and fishing supplies. And so they get a whole new start of life through that bag of hope. And then, of course, all the love. and care and attention and counseling, led by our pastoral staff in the community right there that we bring them back into. And so, Eric, it's so much more than, you know, just all of that stuff. It truly is setting them on a path to freedom. And story after story, we hear from these women they have said, I never thought I would be free. I've never known anything other than captivity
Starting point is 00:36:11 my entire life. I was taken as a child or I was actually born into slavery. I never knew what it meant to be free. Didn't even know my name. It was taking from me. and I was forced to convert to Islam, given a different name. And so this is literally a whole rebirth, if you will, into freedom in the name of Jesus that you're providing with your gift of $250 or whatever God lays on your heart. Well, this is what's amazing to me is that we have the ability to do something. But God doesn't force us. And I say this over and over to people that I think in the American church, people are so focused
Starting point is 00:36:45 on faith by faith. It's all about your salvation. It's not all about your salvation. That's a myopic anti-Christian view of the Christian faith. We are saved by God and then deputized now to live according to his will and to do his will. We're going to be an army of people sold out to God's purposes. It's not about going to church on Sunday and singing songs. That's a little piece of it.
Starting point is 00:37:12 But then we have to live out our faith in every sphere. And this is a classic example. we just had an election. Well, there's nobody to vote for this month or this, you know, season. What can I do? How can I get involved? God calls us to do many things. This is something that by the grace of God on this program, we get to do. And I want to say, folks, nothing could be a greater Christmas present to somebody than to say, hey, Dad, in your name, we all got together and we freed a slave. And here's the information. on that. Trust me, as a father, nothing would touch me more than getting a gift like that, getting a sweater I don't need or whatever gadget that's going to be in the garage in six months. Really and truly, this is an opportunity to do something beautiful for God that's meaningful.
Starting point is 00:38:08 This is also something we can teach our kids about the meaning of life. Tell your kids, here's what we're going to do. We're going to do for grandpa this year. we're going to all pull together and take a part of your balance and we're going to get part of we're going to do beautiful thing. There is nothing more beautifulness. This is meaningful. And it teaches our kids and it teaches us about this is the meaning of life. We get to participate in God's purposes in working against evil.
Starting point is 00:38:37 And God has given us the privilege that we get to do that. We have money. We have freedom. We have this radio program. And we can talk about this. It's not oppressed. It's not suppressed speech. We get to talk about this.
Starting point is 00:38:50 We get to do something. But then God doesn't force us to do it. He gives us the invitation to do it. And so, folks, I think this is just a beautiful, a beautiful opportunity. And I want everybody who's listening to participate somehow and to participate ASAP. This is really just an amazing opportunity. I can't say that enough. What an opportunity that we get to do this.
Starting point is 00:39:13 We hear about this evening. and some fix it. So the phone number is 888-253-3522. 888-253-3522. The website is metaxis talk.com. You see the banner right there, metaxistalks talk.com. The banner's right at the top, metaxis talk.com. What an opportunity. So, and Todd, do people give monthly as well? Do people sometimes want to do that? Yeah, absolutely. You can give monthly. You can give a one-time gift, obviously. You know, it's $250 per slave that you free. And one of the things I love about your listeners, Eric, is every year, you know, I see some of the names that have given for a number of years now.
Starting point is 00:39:55 And we see people coming back and making this a part of their annual giving. And we love that. And also what we see over time, people tend to give more and more because what you said, you know, when you participate in anything that you do in the name of God, yeah, you're bringing good in the world and you're doing, you know, you're showing God's love and transformative of ways, but it also changes you. It changes our heart. That's why Jesus talked about giving and showing love. And so if you want to change the world, and also I have God change you in the process, be in part, and it's not just giving to CSI. Give to his work anywhere that you feel led. But
Starting point is 00:40:29 I'm just a big believer and lover of what we do at CSI, freeing human beings and then I'm Jesus. I am with you. Freeing human beings, literally, freeing them from slavery, the website, metaxis talk.com. The banner is right there. The phone number, 888-253-3522. Dial it today, call it today, give today 888-253-3522, 888-253-3522. And the banner, metaxis talk.com. Do it.
Starting point is 00:40:58 God bless you. Hey there, folks, as promised, I want to get my friend Kevin McCullough back on here to talk about CSI. This is an insane opportunity. I beg you, take advantage of the opportunity. opportunity to free a slave. There's nothing more significant. Anyone could do. No better Christmas present. You could give to someone to say that you've done this in their name. You've freed a slave. You go to metaxistocotocot.com. Metaxistocot.com, the banner's right there. So my first question
Starting point is 00:41:36 for you, Kevin McCullough, you were recently on here talking about the work CSI does. I thought I'd have you back so you could detail further the impact that is made. So what do you say? Well, the great thing about what CSI is doing, and I love the fact that our shows do this together. We're both in the process of asking people to join the effort. And what's great about doing it at this time of year is that we are just around the corner from another major liberation with Christian Solidarity International. And what that means is that people are going to be freed and they're going to be allowed to go home. And as you think about the holidays and kind of what this is, normally, you know, all about, going home is a big thing for a lot of us at this time of year.
Starting point is 00:42:24 But imagine being someone who was kidnapped from your home when you were maybe six, seven, eight years of age. You're a girl. Your parents may have been killed in front of you. Your mom may have been raped in front of you. There may have been things that you've seen repeatedly in how people treated you over and over again for dozens of years. And now as an adult, you have the first opportunity this Christmas to be with people that love you,
Starting point is 00:42:54 to be with people that have missed you, to be with people that have wondered if you were even still alive. That's the beauty of CSI at Christmas time. We have a liberation that is just around the corner and we can give them that new life, that return home, that blessing that we all enjoy when we go home for Christmas. we can give that to these hurting hearts that have not felt it in years and in some instances ever. Kevin, where does the $250 go that it frees the slave? I mean, there's more. How are those resources specifically utilized?
Starting point is 00:43:32 The CSI program is pretty straightforward. There are what we refer to as retrievers that are Sudan Arabs that want to have good relationships with South Sudan Christians. And they have been recruited over time, over the number of years that CSI has been doing this, to go into Sudan and look for slaves that are thought to still be alive, thought to still be there. At one point, there were 185,000 women and children that had been taken as slaves. We believe the number is somewhere around 35,000 now, after years and years and years of CSI, basically being the lone voice in the wilderness saying, we got to do something about this.
Starting point is 00:44:14 But these retrievers locate them. They alert CSI. They engage in negotiation and they secure the release of the slave. Now, what the slave master will usually release the slave for in exchange is a very hard-to-get cattle vaccine that helps their cattle withstand the extreme temperatures of what they are going through. Many of these slave masters are ranchers. cattle is their only means of material wealth or income. And so, you know, you can't be having cattle die on you and be successful. So the life of the cow or the bull is more valuable to the slave master than the life of the slave.
Starting point is 00:45:01 And CSI is able to effectively say, if you'll release this slave, we will see to it that we get a vaccine for your cattle. I know that everybody's in a different place, but everybody can do something. Whatever you can do, please, folks, join us in this beautiful, beautiful thing. Go to metaxis talk.com. You'll see the banner there. You click on it. It'll walk you through everything. And right now, we're going to hour two.
Starting point is 00:45:32 I guess I just want to leave the phone number with you. 888-253-3522, 888-253-3522, or the website metaxisstalk.com. Metaxistalk.com. You'll see the banner. This is the right thing to do. Jump in. God bless you.
