Starting point is 00:00:00 This is really the fighter and the kid. What's up, buddy? Well, I'm just here, my friend, fresh from Los Angeles, our old stomping grounds, Venice, California. I go there on Wednesday. You go there on Wednesday. How is Venice? It's not Texas, buddy. I found myself, when you're in Los Angeles and you're in Venice, you're going to see a lot of homeless still.
Starting point is 00:00:31 Now, do you think it's changed since when we're coming up there as young lads, or is it just you haven't been back and you forget? I think Venice and California. I think Los Angeles has gotten way worse. Oh, interesting. Yeah. And I think that these kinds of things kind of percolate, but I'm driving around. Traffic is crazy. It's never been great.
Starting point is 00:00:51 It's ugly. It's a lot of cement, a lot of. Yeah, and I have a soft spot for California. I love, I love the weather, blah, blah, blah. the beach. But you see these local politics, man. It's very real. They don't know what to do about it.
Starting point is 00:01:08 This shit is great. That's finally adding up. Oh, why? Because Skid Row is ready for this? 55 blocks now. Yeah, it's getting bigger. Skid Row is 55 blocks. I don't get it.
Starting point is 00:01:19 Well, and they are, and oh, by the way, anybody who says it's a housing problem, so a couple things. One, it's a drug and mental health issue. 100% across the board. There is a housing problem, though. Because try to get any, I talked to a developer, try to get something done in Los Angeles. Go ahead and try with the permits.
Starting point is 00:01:37 And the city councils that want you to be poor. Look at Malibu. One percent has been built back. There you go. How long ago is that? That's so surprising. Three years ago? Three years ago?
Starting point is 00:01:46 One percent. How surprising? Yeah, my buddy's the builder out there. That's his area. And he's like, buddy. I got a better. Yeah. You're not building.
Starting point is 00:01:54 That's what he does. He's like, no, no. And they tie you up so much in legal and the, the, you're, the, the, the, the, the, lawsuits, the permits, everything. And so what happens is... It's like, you're going to take 15 years. Yes, it'll take 15 years. And that's what they said.
Starting point is 00:02:07 They said 10. It's going to take 15. Because it's Los Angeles. It's their city council. So, it's Sacramento. So, yeah, just a shit show out there. So you were in L.A. It made me appreciate Texas.
Starting point is 00:02:19 Yeah. Yeah, it's just different. Just different. I still love L.A. I do too. So you went L.A. and then you went to Baltimore? I then went to Mugubis in Timonia, Maryland, sir.
Starting point is 00:02:30 not Baltimore. It's outside Baltimore. Yeah, my joke on stage was I was like, Timonium, what's up, baby? Woo! You know, I was like, man, you can have, if you, all you have to do, you want to have a good time.
Starting point is 00:02:40 You got to draw, you got to do is drive two and a half hours that way, man. That's it. You know what I mean? Baltimore, but you drive another hour, man. That's where it's at. It's nice.
Starting point is 00:02:50 That's where it's at, bro. And two hours, who! I tell you when I was doing Magoos years ago. Years ago, when I was doing with Guis, I was like trying to find coffee. So I was like, took an Uber not far, three, four blocks from where I was staying at, the Pendry there on like the boardwalk. Yeah. I go four blocks. I'm in there, this fan goes, shop, what the fuck
Starting point is 00:03:11 you doing here? I'm like, what, I'm getting coffee? He's like, no, this is not good around here, man. He's like, this is not the place. He goes, you know, you were joking before I was, I was joking like, Baltimore's like the wire everywhere. He's like, this is like the wire where you're at. I'm like, really, like, you do not want to be around here. There are, there are parts of Baltimore. Yeah. Check place. Check please. There are parts of Baltimore that time forgot and there are every bit as poor as Haiti and I'm not joking. But then that place around the boardwalk like where that pendee's at, it's amazing. Certain parts of Baltimore still.
Starting point is 00:03:41 Certain parts. I would like you to choose a different word than amazing. That block radius. Yeah. Amazing. Amazing strong. But, but we're here. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:03:52 We're here. We're doing it. Yeah. And then the rest is suburbs. Did you watch the fights? I did. I only watched. I watched Cannoneer
Starting point is 00:04:03 and that was tough. He's so tough, but he's... He's older. Is that what it is? He's older. It's all good. Like, Canada had a great run. Remember, he fought at heavyweight.
Starting point is 00:04:12 Yeah. He fought at heavyweight, light heavyweight. Monster. He's middle weight. He's older. The weight cut can't be fun. He's a big dude. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:18 He's lost five at his last six. Yeah. And they give him CLD and it's like, okay. If anything, it's more of a thing on CLD, like, buddy, you're supposed to take that guy out. Yeah. Like, this was set up for you to, like, make your name for yourself.
Starting point is 00:04:31 He didn't get it done. But Kennedy hears a very rugged fucking rug. He looks like he's made of iron. He's a tough night in the office. Yes. For anybody. Yes. He's just a tough guy you don't want to fight.
Starting point is 00:04:41 As tough as they come. But the whole theme of all this, like, I know you didn't, you know, you're not balls deep into it. But really the takeaway on this card was like the UFC future is so bright. We need shades. It's so bright. We need shade, you stupid fuck. Right?
Starting point is 00:04:57 Like, you should watch this. You should watch this with shades on because the future's bright, dude. Because my buddy said it's a tough sport to be a fan of because. Oh, because he's gay? No, no, no. It's the best. But you watch World Cup? He said, he said, getting into different, like, fighters.
Starting point is 00:05:19 And then it's just, the turnover rate is a lot. Oh, I see what he's saying. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He was like, he said, then he said that they've got to figure out a way to make me like into the fight. I want to hear about their stories, not just the UFC. We talked about this before. He's a casual, but there's, again, now you have to search for it.
Starting point is 00:05:38 I'll give them that. You got to search for it. Yeah. But again, the future, if you watch UFC cock, which is what they called it, UFC hashtag cock, they just fucked up. So are you being, are you being facetious right now? No, I'm being dead serious. Okay, so it's bright.
Starting point is 00:05:51 You need shades. It's bright. You need shades. Especially if you watch UFC cock, go back to that chin. So can I just tell you as a cat? They fucked up. The marketing team put UFC cock. I dude I couldn't love them anymore for doing this now here's the thing was this done by mistake and someone went bro UFC cock you went oh shit or like you know what would leave it you know what would get go numbies yeah put in UFC cock that's great UFC O K yeah he's like yeah dude I dig it and that's Oklahoma UFC OC K also also UFC cock which is awesome so it went Numbies but so Fatima Klein she's two fights away from me and you're
Starting point is 00:06:29 UFC face of straw weight division savage Tommy McMillan Tommy Guns he's a sugar Sean kid two fights in UFC from Montana super star written all over him really super star really you like Nate Diaz yeah he's him but cooler wow he's him but cooler better tattoos yeah I don't think Nate has any um Austin Bash she's gonna be a beast even though he lost Israel Elliott Savage Damien Anderson from beat team Savage all young kids again you're gonna have to do your homework and look it up uh Tommy guns you might have been familiar with Fatima you sure's fuck you know um who is the kid giving him the finger what was that it's Tommy he's Tommy he's he's he's he made it a fight like he made it but he was also
Starting point is 00:07:14 first of all he landed the most strikes ever in three rounds in the history of the you see most fights up most punches landed in three rounds so and then they had legit bad blood and as he's beating his ass he's flip-mops going talk shit now talk shit now like genuine, a genuine fighter. Yeah. And today's UFC, you get athletes. Look at him. This kid is a fighter.
Starting point is 00:07:35 Yeah, he's a beast. Look at him. Fantastic. Just a gangster. He goes now, because he's beat all, like he's beating a talent and he's beating a Muslim.
Starting point is 00:07:44 He goes, now give me that Mexican in UFC No chess, which is, you know, next month. Now, give me a, feed me a Mexican in UFC Noches. Jesus.
Starting point is 00:07:51 He checks all boxes, rough. All boxes. 135? Is that? 145. 145. 145.
Starting point is 00:07:57 Wow. Checks all boxes. Yeah. That's the takeaway from this. Like you watch that, if you're a UFC fan, we need shades. Yeah. After UFC cocked. Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:07 You need shades. That's good. All right. I'm glad to hear that. I'm going to go home and watch that right as soon as I get home. Tommy McMillan, you'll love him. Yeah, I bet. Now, DuPlessy and Usman.
Starting point is 00:08:19 I personally, I always root for Usman. I'm always wanting him to find a way. And with all due respect, DuPlessi, drives me nuts. His fighting style drives me nuts. I just find it clumsy. It's ugly. He gets the job done, but it's just, it's like he kicks. His kicks look awful. You know, his punches. Effective though. I know. But it's like he looks slow. He looks on it. You can hear him go when he kicks. And I'm like, ah, fuck. I just don't like looking at it. Yeah, I get it. It's not the prettiest fight and style. It's not pretty in any way, but he's goddamn effective. He's so
Starting point is 00:08:53 rugged. He's tough. Uh, for Camaro, it's just like, You're not an 85er. And not only you're not an 85er, but you're fighting DDP who's disguised of the 85ers is really a 20-fiverer. He's huge. Yes. So you're going up a weight class. In the fight, they didn't look that much.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Sometimes you can get deceived, right? I bet you DDP was 20 pounds heavy at least. When he stepped in that. At least. And just a physical dude. Oh, come on, your knees are shot. Oh, stuffing those takedowns. Stuffing.
Starting point is 00:09:24 Stuffing. So why don't you just sit and trade with this huge. huge man at 85. Oh, did you get beat up all five rounds? Weird. I'd love to know, and Trevor Whitman's master of the stuff, and maybe their game plan was to wrestle and just wasn't
Starting point is 00:09:37 in the cards for tomorrow. But if the game plan was to sit and trade with DDP, you're five. Terrible idea. Well, I think, I think you got rocked every single round. I think Usman shot in and just felt that sort of,
Starting point is 00:09:51 he was like, there's nothing to be done here. This is not, I can't go shopping here. It's too expensive. And you got to get it. He can't shoot from the outside. Like he's not like a Hamza who's going to shoot No. Far out double.
Starting point is 00:10:02 Yeah. He has to get in the inside and get in the inside. You got to eat those big punches. But I'm going to also say this. Like, and he's not washed though. I'll tell you that. He's not washed though.
Starting point is 00:10:09 He's not washed. Well, no, but yeah, you can be a great. But I would say this at 85 at 85 at 85. It's not for him. He seemed, he's definitely looked slower. Also just stay out of that neighborhood.
Starting point is 00:10:20 Like, don't go to that neighborhood. Stay out of that neighborhood. You got, you're 170 pounds. You're 170 pounds. Chin check your phone. Just like Connor is a 155 pounder. Correct.
Starting point is 00:10:30 Yeah, and a 70. Come up, but I don't, again, my takeaway was in, your DDP did this thing I expected to win. But Kermar went, oh, he still has some left in the tank. He could do some damage of 70. Balm Muhammad at 70, Jdm at 70. There's some fun fights for him. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:43 Is he ever going to be champion? No, no, no. Did you watch? I think he puts up a better showing against Islam, Machetechab than he does DDP, tell that much. I agree with you. I bet you don't get shut out. I'd love to see that.
Starting point is 00:10:54 I'd love to see that. Me too. And now you're never going to see that. see it. Why? Because he, you know, he's just never going to see it. Man, I don't think he'd have, if he beat JDM, then we're cooking with gas. They give him JDM, he beats him good and Islam, I bet would be like, I'm down. Because they were thinking about doing it before he went up to 85. They're thinking about giving him to Trump. I don't think Osmond's hearing a peep out of, uh, out of Islam. I mean, he's going to wrestle him. He's going to, he's going to stand a bang with
Starting point is 00:11:19 him. Islam's got his hands full. I'll tell you what, Islam has his hands full five years ago, Right. Five years ago, he's got his handful. There you go. Hey, welcome to 2026. How old is Camaro right now? He's every bit of 47. Listen.
Starting point is 00:11:33 In fight years, he's 66. Listen, it's Monday. 39. He's 39. Listen, it's Monday, July 20th. And it's 2026. Now, if you did this take July 20th, 2021, I'm with you, bud.
Starting point is 00:11:45 And we're having a good debate. By the way, 2021, yeah, I got him. He's. Sure. Now, unless you have a fucking time machine, it doesn't matter. Now, do you have a time machine? Don't have one.
Starting point is 00:11:57 Don't have one. Don't have one. Is there one behind you? There's not one behind you? No. Then shut your fucking trap, right? So, so I'm just saying. Unless you have a time machine, that fight's not close, okay?
Starting point is 00:12:09 It's, it's, but. You're talking about the pound for pound number one guy? I was talking about that guy. Yeah, I don't fuck with the daggies either, but still, I got to keep it pretty black and white here. That's an asshole. My only thing is. How's he's been beat him? Well, my only, my only, my only, my only thing is this.
Starting point is 00:12:24 striking well no sir now hold on Islam is a is a 55 or he can get down a 55 huge 50 there is a big 55er but there's a there I feel like usman his wrestling his cardio his hands I'm turning in Mark Jeff I'll tune in for sure I'm with you I'll tune it see I like how he saved yours I'm gonna tune in I'll tune in right hey I'll tune in tune in I'll tune in uh because is is Islam in his primary and his primary and better at every single aspect of mixed martial arts right now, yes. But remember when- Back in the day, again.
Starting point is 00:13:00 Yeah. And you're going to remember it. You have a time machine? Now, hold on. Now, now, who's- I'm going to ask you one more time for you of the stupid take? Do you have a time of-shed? I don't have a time of-a-on, but here's my take.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Okay, then go. Now, hold on. Now go. He, if you remember, in the third round against Kamsat, he stopped, he stopped those takedowns. He was coming in. No doubt. That's a good take.
Starting point is 00:13:21 Now, he's got, no, that was three years ago. Great. I'm asking you again. That's three years ago. You have a time machine? Because you keep referencing old fights. Bringing it back. And it's starting to piss me off.
Starting point is 00:13:33 Because I've asked several times now if you have a time machine. You don't. Because if you did, I'm on board with these tapes. You're on board with these takes. But you don't have one. She's 39 right now. She's 39. And just got shut out 5045.
Starting point is 00:13:45 One of the all-time grades, arguably. No one's not saying that. Right. There's argument he's the best welterweight of all time. You could say that. There's 100% a strong scholarly. There's a scholarly debate that he is, he is maybe best one seven year of all time. Some people put him over at GSP.
Starting point is 00:14:02 That's fine. Fair. Sure. I don't, but that's fine. But we're talking about July 20th, 2 on 26th. Yeah. Now, you keep bringing up old shit, right? I, because I'm, I just, I just believe in the last dance, Baba.
Starting point is 00:14:18 It's called the last dance. And did you see his last dance? I did see his last dance. But he's 85, a little sluggish, a little bit. it, you know, just little... Yeah, there's life for him at 70. There's life for him at 7. I think he can beat Jadim.
Starting point is 00:14:28 Now, how bad is that cut at 70 for him now? He's been doing it for how long he should be all right? Boy, is he... Because he wasn't a big 85er. He's not a massive 85er. Those boys, those real 85, Hamzot, Strickland, I saw Strickland, 230?
Starting point is 00:14:41 What? 85ers are big, Bubba. Fuck. 85ers are big cats. Really? DDP? Big. Big boy.
Starting point is 00:14:49 I saw DDP next to Michael Bisbing. Michael Bisbing walks around at 220. Michael's a big guy. DDP bigger. DDP bigger. Oh, so I met up with, I want to shift gears.
Starting point is 00:15:00 I met up with Eric Nixick, Chris Curtis, and the boys on Friday. They were in Austin at Ways to Will. Saul Schener. Yep. I can't really, I can't give the exact details
Starting point is 00:15:12 on what Nick Sick told me about Hamzak, because you know what Hamzat was in their camp? Yes. I'll tell you off air and you're going to love it. It's juicy. It's juicy. Oh, it's fun. Really?
Starting point is 00:15:21 Oh, it's fun. Now, I want to just shift gears. Did you see... I'll say this. After Sweeke and Tim, I would never bet against Strickland against Homsup, ever again. You would never bet on Strickland again? Would never bet against Strickland again. Against Homsup.
Starting point is 00:15:37 Interesting. Never. We'll never do it. Interesting. Never. Really? It is juicy. Oh, I can't wait.
Starting point is 00:15:43 Oh, you're going to love it. Now, I can't wait to hear this. Now, you're going to love it. Now, Nick has come in. I can tell you right now if I want to hear of a wait. I want to ask you one question. Did you watch my boy Cody Chaos Covington? Against Armin?
Starting point is 00:15:58 Yeah. Yeah, he'll pointed him. Yeah, he's a freestyle wrestler. So Armour doesn't come from that background. Really? Okay. So notice he wasn't like picking him up slam him like dismantling him. He played the game and beat him in the game.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Oh, really? That's Cody's thing. So it's a different, it's a different style. Yeah. Really? Like the points and all that. Like notice he was getting points taking the back to certain movements, reverses and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:16:20 Like old school. Yeah. Yeah. Folk wrestling almost. That's what he does. Like he was an All-American at Oregon State Division I. So he's no joke. No, Colby's no joke.
Starting point is 00:16:28 Like, Armine doesn't have an extensive background like that. That's interesting. And Colby's bigger. People like his coaches of Goldmouse and the Olympics, Armagh. No, that matters. I don't know what he's going to fuck who's going. He's like, he could be in the Olympics. Oh, who said that?
Starting point is 00:16:41 I've heard people say it. Around people you hang out of it. Yeah, his wrestling. No one's ever said that around me. Ever. So he's. Because they know better. Right?
Starting point is 00:16:50 They know better. And they'd say it around you. and it's a fun time. We're all talking about it, right? And you guys talk about those Olympic dreams. Around me, that conversation goes nowhere because it's not a fucking conversation. You shut it down just like that?
Starting point is 00:17:04 Oh, I won't even entertain. You know what I would do? I would leave the party. I'd go. But Armand's wrestling is supposed to be top-notch. I go, oh, you guys should make merch. They go, why are you interrupting us or take on Arm and wrestling for the Olympics? They go, okay, cool.
Starting point is 00:17:18 You guys should make merch that says, we're casuals. And it would sell, really well, and I'm going to leave now before I get upset, okay? Now tune in the Big Brown Breakdown, 11 a.m. Central, and learn something about the goddamn sport before I come back next time. This is getting you all right? Because that's such a stupid take, right? It's so bad.
Starting point is 00:17:39 No, listen, Armand gave it. I'd ask you once again, I'm like, you guys don't count, right? Now, I asked him the same question on Monday show. I hang out with Olympians. Careful about it. Yeah, sure. Do you guys have a time machine? because if a time machine, now this is a good argument
Starting point is 00:17:52 because we can go back when he was two and he can start wrestling like those Olympians did and he wouldn't probably be an Olympian. You don't have one either. Hold on. Now, this seems to be a common. Or maybe not. That's a big tall order.
Starting point is 00:18:05 It's a tall order. And even then it'd be tough. It's a thousand things, man. Being Olympian is so hard. But I'm going to assume you guys don't have a time machine just like Callan doesn't, right? And they go, no, we don't. Then this is such a waste of stuff.
Starting point is 00:18:17 So we got to go make merch right now? You got to make merch that says, we're casuals, and we love it. All right. Let's let Nick, and I want to hear the juice. I've been watching naked and afraid of my girl and they're in Columbia in the jungle. Yeah. And the fact that women are straight up manhandling Caymans, I'm like, Cayman's a kind of pussy. Yeah, they're smaller. Camas will not eat, no, they can be 20 feet, but they won't eat humans. It's really weird. So in the Amazon, you can swim with a 20-foot Cayman. It's, don't fuck with you. Yeah, they're kind of small and they're kind of pussy.
Starting point is 00:19:39 They're not small. Well, the ones on in Columbia. Yeah, they're smaller. Bring up a black Cayman right now. We're talking about heavy on the black. Yeah. Bring up a black Cayman. Take a look at how these fucking things are. Now bring up, bring up, like, look at that thing right there. Watch, look at how big they are. Now we're talking about orange camels? That's a black cayman, dude. That's how big they are.
Starting point is 00:19:57 Yeah, that's way different than the ones that I was saying. But that's how big they are. And but they want. That's an alligator. Yeah. Chin bring up, but somehow they don't eat you. What's the difference between an alligator and Cayman? Well, Cayman is not an alligator I found out.
Starting point is 00:20:06 Well, it's all, it's all part of the same thing. But the two crocodilian species, the three that'll fuck you up. The moogical crocodile, which is a freshwater crocodile, the mooger. then you have the salt water and you have the Nile and they will actively hunt you. And crocodiles straight up bully alligators. Oh yeah. Like especially in Florida.
Starting point is 00:20:28 You ever seen that video that crocodile in the alligator? American crocodiles will kill you too. So it says the most notable differences include location. Alligators are only native to south eastern United States. I didn't know that. And Yangtzee River in China. Camas are found in Central South America such as the Amazon size. Most Cambys species are relatively small.
Starting point is 00:20:45 ranging from three to eight feet long. Yeah. All years are much larger. It's like Florida's got the biggest ones I've ever seen. Like Allys? I'm talking about alleys? Oh yeah. Like if you play golf on the golf courses out there,
Starting point is 00:21:00 there's just straight fucking dinosaurs on the course. Their belly armor don't care. Teeth and jaw, same aggression. Caves are generally more aggressive. Here's what makes crocodile so fucking dangerous. They will sit, if you've gotten in the water once, they will sit. And they will wait.
Starting point is 00:21:17 In that area? And they'll wait even, they'll literally wait almost a month sometimes before they hit you. Sometimes it'll just be like, I'm not going to get them yet. And then they take you. Hmm. But yeah. I think alligators look the best. They do look sick.
Starting point is 00:21:32 They have the cool front of front. They're like smiling. Yeah, they look pretty cool. Like a now, like a saltwater crock just looks evil. They do. And they have a skinny stupid noses. Horrifying. Horrifying.
Starting point is 00:21:44 Giant skulls and like, no thanks. Yeah. Alligators look like dinosaurs. Yeah, man, they are. You look at that bullshit Cayman on the right. Yeah. Look at that wide,
Starting point is 00:21:53 wide body gator on the left. Uh-huh. I love me a nice wide-body gator. Yeah. Crocs scare me. Gators don't really fuck with you that much either. I mean... They're dinosaurs.
Starting point is 00:22:05 If you... Gators, no. Sometimes you get attacked, but for the most part, like in... You kind of got to be annoying the shit out of them. Yeah. During mating season, they're pretty nasty.
Starting point is 00:22:15 And a woman was... A woman did... was jogging and then put her leg over the thing and a croc grabbed it uh the alligator grabbed it rolled her and she was found with no arms or legs that wasn't good chalk it up to the game yeah they're usually going after smaller people like older people when they're walking their dogs sometimes the alligator come up and grab the person yeah um dog runs out of the way in the alligator chock it up to the game and then you're getting pulled in yeah i like a nice wide nose gator got a love a wide nose gator dude yeah don't fuck with crooks
Starting point is 00:22:48 Crocs are just cunty. Crocs? Crocs will just actively knock your boat over. They get smart. The big ones will get smart and attack boats. There was one in Australia. Yeah, we shut up out of alligators. Hey, why do you have a bandit on your toe?
Starting point is 00:23:05 Oh, I do jiu-jitsu. Yeah. And I shot in. Rip some skin off? Yeah. Yeah. Doing a little wrestling. Too old to be doing that.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Too old to have tape on my toe for that reason. by the way, but it's okay. Too old for sandals and jeans, but you still do it. Might be too old, but these are the old toe hold, uh, Titanic. But I don't care if you bought those from Jesus himself. Fucking pisses me off. Yeah, it's so weird.
Starting point is 00:23:32 It really pisses me off. Really? Yeah. I don't like it. You don't like my feet, huh? No. Yeah, no. Not a way I want to start my day.
Starting point is 00:23:39 No. That in your thumb is really, your thumbs are great. No, and your thumbs hyper extend like crazy. I broke it punching somebody. Hitchhiker thumbs. Yep. That's good.
Starting point is 00:23:53 Nobody pulling over for you, dumbass. What you mean, Callan? I'll pull over for Calin with that big old thumb. Put it right up somebody's rump. I'll put this right up your ass. Let me see yours. Yep, not stopping. Mine's straight.
Starting point is 00:24:05 That's a straight on. Not stopping. You don't see many hitchhikers, huh? No, because people would die. Yeah, yeah, yeah. My father told me when he was 15, he was hitchhiking and got in a car and, A man picked him up and put his hand on his thigh.
Starting point is 00:24:21 My father said, I don't do that. Is that a real story? I hitchhiked by accident once. It was an accident, though. Because we were leaving, there's this club in New York called Pasha, and it was stay open until 10 in the morning, so you can imagine we were pretty fucked up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:37 And you didn't have to wear a shirt in there, and we were all on steroids, so, you know, we weren't wearing shirts as you don't at 10 in the morning at a house music nightclub. And we're leaving the place When you live in the Bronx, it's so hard to get a cab back because no one wants to get beat up and mugged.
Starting point is 00:24:53 Sure. So this guy pulls up in a Jeep Liberty and my boy Jeff goes, yo, this guy said he'll take us back. And I was like, oh shit, usually it's a fucking problem trying to get back. You're high as fuck trying to get back home. And I'm just sitting in the fucking thing
Starting point is 00:25:06 and I'm just looking around and there's no livery tag. There's nothing indicating that I'm in a cab, which is me and my shirtless dude friends. Just a good citizen trying to get you home. I looked at Jeff. like you should is good he goes yeah it seems legit so i was like fuck it there's also three of you yeah yeah three of you is fine he's pretty big boy and uh somebody got to suck him off though
Starting point is 00:25:25 we start getting close and he goes so where are we going yeah and i went oh no yeah so we had just we had just bit once he pulled over to a red light we were texting each other just jumped the fuck out of the cab you guys just all got out well we suck them off first then we got yeah i suck him off well that's just being polite he gets him off too bad so where are we going Yeah. Do you guys watch World Cup? I did. God, I'm so glad it's over.
Starting point is 00:25:51 I get so annoyed with Americans. So annoying. I just... Let me get your hot take on Spain, Argentina. Yeah. And then I'll wait another four years for you to get back into it. I just listen to the guys who are, you know, the British soccer commentators who do it for a living. And he goes like this, he goes, he was from Scotland.
Starting point is 00:26:15 And he goes, it was a disgusting performance. It was disgusting. By Argentina? Yeah, Thugari and all that. And he was talking about it. He was like, they were so critical of Argentina. Argentina, I don't think, shot one goal. Zero.
Starting point is 00:26:29 They played defense all the time. Crazy. And they also, they also, like, were known for cheating and being shitty and everything. So people are so, you know, that's my thing about Messi as great as he is. Like, I think if you're that great, you're supposed to be a leader on the team and set a tone, set a tempo. Messy's so often. He is so autistic. He is. He must be. Oh, he must be. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:26:50 Renaldo would never stand to that. He just doesn't know how to talk to Pete. He's so uncomfortable. Renalo would never stand for that shit ever. He would be like, are you out of your mind? He kept, he ran a tight shit. Messi was like whatever. Because those guys were straight up like just doing crazy shit. Tackling, cheating. It was bad. That's part of the game though. Like slide tackles and shoulders. So it is. But when you listen to these guys talk, they were like, that was way beyond the pale. It was just shitty. It was like. It was like. And you lost anyway, you know. Spain needs an Oscar for, did you see the guy who looked like he got hit by a fucking car? They all did. Are you kidding me?
Starting point is 00:27:23 It's the best. They go to the same fucking acting school LeBron goes to. I love it. I can't stand it. That's my one problem with soccer. They all act like they got hit by a fucking truck every time someone slightly touches them. I think it's good every four years. It was fun.
Starting point is 00:27:39 It was fun. But if it was every year, it'd be a little much. Well, it's the Premier League's every year. Yeah, yeah, yeah. European championships and all that. Well, there's a Copa Cup that's South America. Then there's European championships. But the world's not rallying around that.
Starting point is 00:27:54 Yeah, they are. America's people love. Not America. America is the only country that doesn't give that much of a shit. Yeah. But worldwide. The whole world, the whole world comes it. Oh, I don't care.
Starting point is 00:28:04 In India, you see how many people watch cricket? Cricket's actually probably bigger than baseball world. It's huge. Really? It's huge. Cricket's one of the biggest sports in the world. Massive. Yeah, I just, those games last,
Starting point is 00:28:16 But it also shows how dope Americans are at sports. You heard what happened with the Americans in cricket? No. So we don't, I didn't even know we had a team. And our team basically beat Pakistan, which is the best team. Yeah, that's all they do. And they all had to take paid time off
Starting point is 00:28:32 because they all work at Oracle. They're not actually full-time professional athletes. That's how good America is at sports. So we have our part-time Oracle employees. Does that support? Is that true? 3.5 billion fans, Cricket 2.5 billion.
Starting point is 00:28:45 What? Yeah, Cricket's massive. That's crazy. Basketball, 2.4. I'm amazed at that, actually. Oh, cricket? Yes. Buddy, you're too...
Starting point is 00:28:52 That's not interesting to me. No, the one that interested me is hockey. I would never thought... Russia, massive. Yeah, hockey. Sweden. Norway. Those are small countries besides Russia.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Russia's so big. Russia, yeah. Canada. Tennis, really. Yeah. Tennis is everywhere. And it's year-round. They get one month a year off.
Starting point is 00:29:15 That's why so many of them are, like, injuries and stuff, and they burn out. Maria, I think it was Maria Barty. She was the best in the world, and she just went, she was 30, and she just quit. You're about 30, you're kind of washed in tennis. She was still number one. I know, you're still good to go. I don't even want to talk about it. She hated it so much.
Starting point is 00:29:32 Yeah. Just the pressure all the time. What's the age in tennis where you're like, this person has to start hanging up the 14? Well, by the time they're 37, 37, 38. I mean, Djokovic is still competing. He's still number three or four in the one. world at 30 he's special but rafa they were all they were all day plates that they were almost 40 yeah but those are the special guys but but not in general yeah but is it like ufc where they become like
Starting point is 00:29:54 fadour where it's like damn it's sad they're still doing this not really because you get you get kicked out pretty quick but now the way they're hitting that with the speed and the way they they're they're in the air when they're hitting now it's like it's just a power game i feel like we should get into cricket i think it could save us dude those games go on for three days could you imagine Aaron jose or Otani hitting a fucking cricket ball. Oh my God. That ball would never land. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:30:21 Some of it, yeah. I don't know. It would be a small learning curve. They'd pick up on pretty fast. Soccer, soccer in itself is interesting because it's not just about scoring goals. It's your touch. It's your touch.
Starting point is 00:30:35 Like where you place the ball when you pass it. Like that's a touch. That's a feel. So, like, Messi's so good at putting the ball exactly where it needs to be for his player to head it in or something. And you also got to give them credit. What other sport, I mean, basketball you're running a lot too, but like, what other sport are you sprinting for almost 100 minutes straight? Yeah, they run almost eight.
Starting point is 00:30:57 10 miles. Yeah, 10 miles. That's fucking insane. Yeah. What did you, did you guys talk? You guys talk DDP and. Give us your take, though. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:08 It was kind of sad at the same time, but it was like, Ousman was like, we were in a DeCapri. and DDP was like the bear in the Revenant. Yeah. It was not good. It was... What do you mean? There was so many times where he got... Usman got so concussed, he didn't know.
Starting point is 00:31:26 He thought he won the fight. Yeah. He just got brutal. Like, the fact that Usman, at a certain point, DDP was willing... He was like, all right, you could try and take me down. Yeah. But in the first round and even the last round,
Starting point is 00:31:38 like the judges, didn't the judges give him... Two of the judges gave the rounds. Only the last round. But even in the last round, Usman didn't even turn it up until the last 45 seconds. But that's what I'm saying. I think he got a beat up so bad that last round.
Starting point is 00:31:50 It's like the little engine that could. They went, he didn't get finished. I think we're going to give it to Usman. You're like, but if you even look at the CompuStrike numbers, like, yeah, DDP still land more and heard him in that round. A lot. Yeah, so it's like, I guess you'll give. He was big brother in him the whole time.
Starting point is 00:32:05 You know, it's just too much. Wasn't my favorite of the night, though. No, not even close. McMillan, Tommy McMillan? Tommy Guns. Tommy Guns. I just educated. I just educated Brian and Tommy Guns.
Starting point is 00:32:14 Dude. And Fatima Klein. Doesn't he look like Tommy, what's that guy who dated Pam Lee? Tommy Lee? Tommy Lee. Yeah, maybe. Did you see, we were talking about Colby Covington and Sarukin, right? So good.
Starting point is 00:32:29 And, you know, Surrookin is an Olympic. Kobe is. Surrogian's an Olympic level wrestler. Uh-huh. Wait, you said Sirucan's Olympic level? I said that. He was like, you know. No, he's not.
Starting point is 00:32:39 No, I know. He's good. Yeah. And on like the world stage, though, or even Division I level. But I think it's good for people to realize that. The hype. But that's my whole thing with like, there would be a good strike in the UFC. They'd be like, oh, Justin Gatesy has world class boxing.
Starting point is 00:32:55 Armine has world class takedowns. Like, the term world class is thrown around too loose these days. You know what this looks like? This looks like a D1 All-American versus a D-3 All-American. Like, Armine's good, but I don't think that he would make it to the All-American. See, I always thought Armin was a high-level wrestler because his coach is a Olympic gold medalist. He's been wrestling his whole life.
Starting point is 00:33:18 You know, I mean, he, when you think of Armand, you think the reason. What does coach have to do with him? Well, because when you think about Armand, you think to yourself, Armand's going to beat everybody in 55 because of his wrestling, not as striking. You think of his wrestling. Why? Because he gave Machachev a hard time. So we think of the Dagestan, he says, the problem to solve is that wrestling, right?
Starting point is 00:33:36 And that's why. Because he was, he's like one of those guys who's really good of wrestling. I think that goes to what Brennan's saying, like when we say people, whenever they throw on world class sometimes. UFC way too much. Because do you see what he just did to Armand? It would be so much worse what Kyle Dake would do to Colby. That's a world level.
Starting point is 00:33:55 You're talking. Yeah, and then Kobe's not even... Kyle Dake could do whatever he wanted to. Kobe could sniff the Olympic team. I mean, it's not even. And Kyle Dake is one of the people that... It's hard for him because he was in Jordan Burroughs weight class. So sometimes he didn't even make worlds.
Starting point is 00:34:08 But like people don't understand. I think this weekend they're doing Jordan Burroughs for Sean Brady. It's like... I have more. interest in watching fucking the girl from juno because jordan burrough is just gonna is gonna just molly wap it's it doesn't make any first of all i didn't know jordan burrows was big enough to how much does he weigh what did he wrestle at think he was uh sean brady's way bigger isn't wasn't borough's a 55 doesn't matter brian huh sean brady could be 300 pounds ripped muscle it would not matter and you've been
Starting point is 00:34:38 around sport too burrows versus brady is like the equivalent oh and brett's having a thing no you know i'm not You know, I'm not going to have a thing? I'm not going to mean teeth. No, no, no, it's okay. No, no. It's okay. It's okay. Don't, okay, 163.
Starting point is 00:34:52 All right. Oh, yeah, 74. 174. Fuck, he's, oh, okay, that's, you're going to have your hands for. Yeah. Yeah, Nebraska's a 57. You're going to have your, you're going to have your,
Starting point is 00:35:03 keep talking. You're going to have your hand. It's not real. You're going to have your hands. And if you think he's not cutting a ton of weight to get to that weight class. Yeah. Jordan Bros is arguably the best ever Yeah
Starting point is 00:35:18 Hit me and Sean Brady when they announced I went oh interesting I won't watch that I'll watch it as like Just to see circus I'll tell you how it's gonna go Yeah all right It's a tech fall that Gina Carrano had a better shot at being Rhonda
Starting point is 00:35:33 Oh it's so much close Not even close yeah So much close she at least had a shot Like there's no hell Mary's in wrestling No have you seen what Jordan Burroughs does to people With that blast double You know fucking he is at wrestling?
Starting point is 00:35:45 It's it's white belt versus black belt and even that's not a fair comparison. No, no. Not at all. No, it's first level
Starting point is 00:35:54 jiu-git-to-guy, first day of class versus Blackbow. But like the greatest black belt. Two-time. Two-time two-time
Starting point is 00:36:01 Olympique gold medalist and six-time world champion. Jesus Christ. They do it for the views but I'm sure when they called up John Burroughs,
Starting point is 00:36:09 he's like, yeah, I can. Well, do you know what this sounds like to me? this sounds like they just want to get Jordan over. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:17 So they just want to just put him with the name that you're going to know off the bat. Brady doesn't even come from a wrestling background. Jiu-Jitsu. Who, Brady? I thought Brady was a wrestler. I thought he was a wrestler first. Well,
Starting point is 00:36:28 that's not, that doesn't make sense. Look it up. He wasn't a Pennsylvania wrestler? I thought he was. That doesn't make any sense. He didn't have any college wrestling. Stick a little break here.
Starting point is 00:36:38 Listen, y'all know my teeth are a disaster. I was always ready to upgrade my routine, especially when my teeth. Recently I heard about Lorinco, a chewing gum that actually makes your teeth stronger every time you use it. I said, say less. Your boy needs this. Lorraine is better for you.
Starting point is 00:36:55 Chewing gum that uses the same mineral your teeth are made of to support daily enamel health. I can't tell you how bad I need this, man. Lorraine still needs to send us the gum because your boy needs it. I need my teeth to really up their game, man. I used to love chewing gum, but I can't now. So I'm banking and Lorraine to get it done, man. It feels good knowing it's making my teeth stronger. It's a totally effortless way to make sure you're taking the best care of your teeth possible.
Starting point is 00:37:25 Right now, Lorene is offering you guys up to 50% off at by Lorene. That's L-A-R-I-N-E dot com slash F-A-T-K. That's by Lorene. Lorine is L-A-R-I-N-E dot com slash F-A-T-K for up to 50% off. Muay Thai Jitsu. I thought he was a Philly like a high school wrestler I thought he was a Penn State wrestler or something at least
Starting point is 00:37:52 Why you could put him against Jordan Burroughs? That's her time. Because that's a name that Jordan is going to just beat very easily because you're not going to They get the They get the eyeballs from the MMA community So if MMA community goes on Sean Brady
Starting point is 00:38:07 I'll watch him versus who's this guy He's an Olympian and then they watch Jordan Burroughs Just malle up the fuck I'm like, oh, that was dope. I like Jordan Burroughs now. That's what they're doing. Okay. Wow.
Starting point is 00:38:18 Because I would love to see them set up Burroughs versus Dake again. That's what you want to see. Now, Sean Brady doesn't even have a high-level wrestling pedigree. If we research this and it said, yeah, he was all-American at University of Oklahoma State, even then he would be fun. Correct. Even then, there's a world of difference from being on the Oklahoma State. wrestling team and an Olympic gold medalist. Yeah, I was watching that guy, that guy, Miles Amini,
Starting point is 00:38:50 who is a bronze medalist, and like, he probably walks straight, about 190. It's, it's their transitions. It's their, like, it's like water. You grab them and they're just gone. Yeah. They're going to, there's nothing you're doing. There's nothing. When D.C., when Khab was like, oh, I want to go against Jordan Burroughs, and D.C. just looked at him and just laughed in his face. No, no, I think, or was it, Islam said that. Yeah. Islam said that. He said that. He was like, well, what was that brother? He has a double leg. No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:39:18 Now, if it was, you know, in a cage. Submission fighting, submission grappling, we got a problem. We got a problem because. But it's not. I've seen, yeah, yeah. But it's not. It's not.
Starting point is 00:39:31 It's not. But if it's, yeah, if it's. R.RF is on such a come up. It's so awesome to see that. The crushing is finally starting. How was it doing? It is. It's amazing.
Starting point is 00:39:41 Yeah. People are actually looking forward to wrestling. now, which is crazy. It's great. Their stuff's cooking more than UFC. I mean, not the big UFC's, but like the fight nights, they're out pacing them. Besides that fight, that was a good fight night.
Starting point is 00:39:53 It was a solid fight night, yeah. How do you think, how do you think Kobe would do against Machachev Islam in a wrestling match? Kobe beats him. Kobe beats him. Really? Same thing.
Starting point is 00:40:01 Yeah. And just straight wrestling? He's a wrestler. So is Machochef? He's not, though. But Machice isn't even... He grew up wrestling with his dad and his buddies. One guy did it to get a scoff.
Starting point is 00:40:12 It's crazy. That's not fair because in Dagestan, he's getting looks from Olympians. But Islam is not even one of the top out of all the Dagestanis in the U.S. No, I mean, but those guys do train with strict Russian daghistani wrestlers. They do. It doesn't matter. Why? Because he's not competing in it.
Starting point is 00:40:29 Right. Just training. Like when you keep mentioning, well, his coach is gold medalist. None of that matters. He's not putting anything on the line. There's no evidence. Well, they're not focusing on wrestling. They're focusing on fighting.
Starting point is 00:40:41 also they come up with that sombo you know they're all black blacks in sombo yeah so we can Sambo world champion 2016 very cool very cool it's just different why is that not a sport here why is that not that's it's never really left because you know why we have MMA
Starting point is 00:40:56 yeah because we have MMA if you watch M sambo it's a it's a tamer MMA when you have MMA like Is Samba closer to judo? Yeah they will scratch oh they have a lot of throws they have they have a lot of leg locks but but when you get an MAM
Starting point is 00:41:11 It's just, it's more, it's more comprehensive. It's like Samba, but you could argue better. There's a reason guys like Faderf went from Samba to MMA. Yeah. It's not going to compete with MMA. You may as well just do MMA. It is, okay, so you can strike in Sambo. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:33 It's just combat Sambor. All that shit. How nice was that video I sent you that street fight at like four in the morning that Oh, the big black guy, the Mexican? That was like watching Debo versus. Bring that up to him? I think Robin Black posted it. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:47 That kid just gets low. It really just shows you just like... Oh, boom. Nick sent to me, I was like, let's talk about this. I'm fighting the kid, and I watched it. I went, I don't get what there's to discuss it. That's how that goes.
Starting point is 00:41:58 I said that. But I don't get... Yeah. It's how big fat out of shape black guy versus a kid. He's not like a fat guy. He's just a huge dude. He's a bigger machine
Starting point is 00:42:06 and a bigger machine hits harder with less effort pink. I think I got caught that. But here is the quiet truth of fighting. All else is never equal. skill does not argue with the machine it finds the gap in the machine this is why it sucks this is why you can't as a dude go out by yourself without your friends is because you notice when he went down all of his friends stopped him from finishing the fight but when the small guy went down he has no friends of them they let the big dude try and clock him simply never stops arriving he just got knocked down on his feet that was like a mortal combat fatality yeah but that's how that goes all the time with yeah i can't believe it's not a thing I can't I can't I'm saying, I can't believe it's a thing. Like, it's trending.
Starting point is 00:42:47 I'm like, yeah, the kid that has a boxing background lit up the big, slow black guy who can't fight. Yeah. Cool, man. But also another reason why, even if you're a trained fighter to stay away from this kind of shit, is right after that, someone with a ring on their finger just clocked him on the side of the mouth and he has had to get stitches. No.
Starting point is 00:43:04 Because his whole lip cuts. Yeah, because it doesn't matter how good of a fighter you are. It's a street fight. Yeah, it's a bummer. That's the problem with it. If you notice, he gets knocked down at the beginning. He gets caught kind of like off-down. jumping in on them.
Starting point is 00:43:15 No, they let the big dude to start wailing on him. Yeah. But he luckily, he said he has a wrestling background. So he's like, I wasn't too worried. He's wrestling in high school. But when he knocked their friend down, all of a sudden, they're like, whoa, whoa, whoa. No, no. So the black dude actually let the small dude up.
Starting point is 00:43:31 That was the thing. And then is that what you're saying or no? Well, he tried to hit him, but it was he just got up. He kept punch him well, even though he's down. Hold on. Let's see. He threw and fell. The other guys also.
Starting point is 00:43:41 Black and Mexico. Oh, he does. He still punching. Yeah. that's what they're saying. And then later on the black guy goes, I let you up, which he kind of did not.
Starting point is 00:43:51 This is in Houston. That tough little fucking kid, boom. Robin Block does a lot of philosophy. I guess some of this stuff is good for people to see. It's like, yeah, the train boxer is going to light up the inexperienced guy.
Starting point is 00:44:10 Destroy. Destroy him. But the blinds, Now a real boxer will light up. He's a young, he's a young bro. Young super, he's just against her. Has so far to go. Yeah, you.
Starting point is 00:44:23 Odds are he doesn't make it. No. Definitely not. You see a fight with that kid is, it's in a bathroom. And I think the kid was Samoan, but this little kid is really crisp with his punches. Just like here, sit, sit, too, sit, too. And the Samoan was like, go, cuck, cuck, and then just grabbed him, body, grabbed him on the body, picked him up and just threw him on the ground. Like, and just.
Starting point is 00:44:44 spiked him and the kid was out there is that too yep it's also a problem too at street fights if a lot of their boys are there and if you pick someone up and slam them you're getting the boots yeah yeah smart so fast but this is why when bradley martin was like a mighty mouse yeah i'm too 60 though i'm like i none of none of it matters do no especially against mighty mouse but you can't fight he can't yeah he's going to get behind you he's gonna something's gonna do whatever he wants to you're not gonna touch he's gonna he's gonna get you like it's like for us is a hot he's gonna Bobby who got Devin Lerat. Devin Larrat is 290 pounds, 6 foot 6, crazy strong.
Starting point is 00:45:20 And Farras just got him in what's called an ankle lock. Yeah? Like, yeah. Did you see Mighty Mouse rolling with KSI? KS.I's a really big dude. Like, I didn't realize, I thought he was a, and KSai was basically like, he wanted to see how long he could last. I don't even think he lasted 30 seconds before DJ had him in a, I think he had a
Starting point is 00:45:38 naked, a triangle, like on top, a triangle from the top. Yeah, inverted triangle. but yeah yeah talking about the YouTuber's done a few YouTube boxing events
Starting point is 00:45:49 got tapped out in seconds by Mighty Mouse but it doesn't have to be the greatest ever if it was just the guy from the contendish days the exact same thing
Starting point is 00:45:57 happened it's just what they do yeah it's like just been surprised we get out shot by a professional sniper yeah
Starting point is 00:46:04 yeah that's what the fucking guy does man oh he let him start in the mount oh no he has no technique he has no idea what he's doing. You're not going to know what to do here.
Starting point is 00:46:21 Oh my God. Get under him. Do I do for a living? That has a smile, boy. I don't want to try and survive the minute. We can do this. That's why. You're not.
Starting point is 00:46:45 You're not. My mouth's just fucking round. He's not even trying. at all. It's all a reaction for him. Look at that. Oh, look at that. That's not good. That sucks. Yeah, that's a bitch. Here we go. There we go. 17 seconds.
Starting point is 00:46:57 But this time, I'm nowhere near you. I was trying to run. This is great. Where your black ass goes. Kassna seems like a cool guy. He is. Mighty Mouse seems like a great guy. Which he is. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:11 They got him. Got him faster. Got him faster. Bro, just Manhattan. Yeah. That's one thing that's really funny about like I think it's really good as a man to go into a room where if you've never trained before, whether it's a wrestling room or jihitsu or boxing and just get humbled. It's so good for you. I've done it all. I've done it for your ego. I've done it with boxing. I've done it with jihitsu. I've done it with wrestling. It's just a different thing, man. I'm sure you've had it when you wrestled back in the day where you like went against school where the kid looked like Harry Potter. I went to Dan Gables wrestling camp. I went to Dan Gables wrestling camp and I would go to wrestling camp every summer. and I would, you'd get some dude, but when you go to Dan Gables' wrestling camp, you'd get these kids from Oklahoma,
Starting point is 00:47:54 these farm boys who've been wrestling their whole life. And they look like dorks. Enjoy that shit. Enjoy that shit. Yep. But then we wrestle with the Hawkeyes. Sometimes they'd come in and just like, you know, fuck with us.
Starting point is 00:48:04 And it was like, oh my lord. Yeah. But when you wrestle, even, you know that. You know where you are. That's what sports are like that. It's amazing for you. All sports are like that. All sports are like that.
Starting point is 00:48:13 It's not exclusive to combat sports. When you first started, was there ever someone where you're like, shit that humbled me when you first started training um you boxed with guys real boxers yeah yeah i mean yeah but it's but it's like uh like we'd go against de varro williamson who was a olympian and he would like light us up but you're like all right if it was a real fight i'll just take you down sure you the fuck out there's that or like you go against smaller wrestlers jih Tjitu of course you go in these like hodra grates or something like that but it's all
Starting point is 00:48:45 sports. All sports. All sports. These boys, especially in Lake Travis, get humbled super fast when you go competing against kids from Dade County or Liberty City. You know, it's just really? There's monsters out there, man. And I'm sure once they go against a kid from Pennsylvania or they go against a kid from New Jersey, then even those kids are going to get humbled so fast. Yeah. You know? And then sometimes not. Sometimes sometimes you got some monsters where they just, it's going to be tough to find someone to a challenge. It's good for you. You learn how to tough you're not, and you also learn how tough you are. If you keep working pretty soon, you're way better than you were, and you're, you can, you, you, you, you beat guys you didn't
Starting point is 00:49:22 think you could beat. That's why as a wrestler, it's good in the off season, which I'm sure your kids are going to start doing as they get older, but them going to camps outside of Texas, like going to, uh, it's not Gables anymore, but they basically rebuilt it into a different way. Uh, I forgot the name of the camp, but it's basically seal training, you know, and then there's, I went to a couple different camps in Pennsylvania, just as like a junior in high school. and going from being, like, ranked, and then just getting destroyed by unranked people in Philadelphia,
Starting point is 00:49:51 was crazy. Big boys. But it's good for you, because then you go back onto the mat against people, and it feels like you're wrestling in slow motion. Yes. Yes. That's life.
Starting point is 00:50:02 Yeah, camps are still the biggest deal. For baseball, football, like kids go to the LSU camp, Texas camp. That's what coaches get noticed, you know. What's your, for them? What's your, like, outlook like where do you want them to put all their effort in is there one yet or is it too young
Starting point is 00:50:19 too young too young don't decide to that at least freshman high school well your kids are tall enough that i thought they were no a lot a lot older yeah not to you don't want to stick with a specific sport to at least freshman freshman the problem is like travis so competitive you got to be a super ball to pull off football and baseball two sports like you'd be pretty gifted it's so they also don't really you can't be a baseball it's rare that's rare this day As you get older, that don't go hand-in-hand athletic-wise. That's why it's good. Your kids do both sports, right?
Starting point is 00:50:52 Both. Yeah. But also, if you want to take football seriously, your son's going to be, he's already going to be tall, guaranteed. But they're going to start putting on a lot more muscle and stuff like that, which is not good when it comes to baseball at all. Depends? You don't want, you want, like in baseball, you want your arm to stay a whip.
Starting point is 00:51:08 Depends? It's not great. When I was younger, I could throw a ball harder than I do now, because I actually was able to put on. Yeah, but now with the training and stuff, like now, those days of like oh you want to be a muscular baseball players like Aaron Chos pretty fucking muscular he is very much trout's pretty muscular Stanton's huge yeah Chado's a big cat that Chapman's a giant pitcher
Starting point is 00:51:27 you know so like the day it has changed a little bit because you're getting real athletes in MLB benching 475 yeah monster yeah there's the guy uh who's a catcher uh Kevin who was telling me or maybe he was a pitcher from the DR he's a pitcher I met him He's probably 6-2, 6-3-250. He just picked up 700 pounds off the ground. He just deadlifted 700 pounds. He wasn't even a weightlifter. You know, Kevin was like, I couldn't believe it.
Starting point is 00:51:56 Tyler O'Neill's a good one. 6-7. So crazy. He's 6-7? Aaron Judge. Aaron judges. Tyler O'Neill's not, he's 5-9-200, but he's jacked. Stanton's huge.
Starting point is 00:52:07 Huge. He is the worst. Football All-Star. Do you ever see the way he runs? Yeah, he's a freak though. He used to be. Yeah. But now he's so hurt.
Starting point is 00:52:16 It's tough. That it's like watching, like, did you see the MMA robot fights? No. That's what it looks like watching John Carl Stanton run. These guys are pretty rocked. You guys didn't see that? China had the first robot MMA fight. No.
Starting point is 00:52:31 No, but I'd like to. I have it somewhere here. I'd like to see that. Oh, yeah. Somebody's sent this night. It's always trippy to because I'm like, is it AI? Because when you see regular robots, when they, you know, demo them, they fall down
Starting point is 00:52:43 the trip, but these are so like... We're going to have robots, guys. They're going to do all our housework. And I'm going to be able to practice my jih Tzu. Oh, what? This is fucking hilarious. See, the head fell off. You can spark back up.
Starting point is 00:53:10 It's just... It looks like two people running the controllers on the new UFC. Yeah. Weird. But I don't know why you care about this. People in China love seeing weird shit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:22 I care about it because I think about what Eric Weinstein and some theoretical mathematicians are saying. Like them in war? No, what they're saying is that we're already in the Matrix. Like we started that way and now we're this. So when you're watching UFC, you're watching the advanced version of that in human form. I just don't like, I've seen the Terminator too many times to think that this is a great idea. machines like we are producing better machines we've been in this loop so this has been going on from the beginning it's so fucking what do you mean so you know how we're making better machines with
Starting point is 00:54:04 AI right and we're making robots and so you just saw that in 10 20 years what do you think those robots are they're going to be insane they're going to be human they're going to look human right they'll have skin they'll have all that right that you and i may already be an advanced version of that and we're now we as these robots these really advanced robots are doing this are making better versions of us so we are the most advanced version right now theoretical mathematicians are saying this we are already the highest version of this so you're saying that like we're creating this and they could create something even better than that yes we are so we will have in 20 years or whatever it is and time of course is just uh it's not how you and i think of it's a it's a it's a it's a relationship
Starting point is 00:54:51 between two mathematical bodies. So in 20 years, quote unquote, we will have versions of ourselves that do everything better physically and everything else. Now, will they have consciousness? That's the question. What is conscious? And there's also the, what's that theory called
Starting point is 00:55:08 where we're going to combine basically? It's just going to be coming. Well, we'll mesh with machines. Already happening. Already happening. Neuro link and all that shit. Yeah. Are you a fan of that?
Starting point is 00:55:19 Geno-wink is stuff like that. I don't know. trying to think of the name of it. I don't know what to say about any of it. I don't even know when I hear theoretical mathematicians tell me that this is, we are already in this simulation. I know the Buddhists do that crazy, that crazy thing where they say, you cannot locate yourself. You don't, you don't know where you are. Like, if you think about the, the fact that you can witness where you are, we have this consciousness that can witness this avatar going through all these things physically and emotionally and mentally, then who, then who,
Starting point is 00:55:51 Who is that? Who is that? Who is that? Where is that person watching you from? What is that? Like, so you have a self, right? We both have, we all have a self that we protect really carefully, like this cubic space. Like, I eat a certain way and all that. That's not you. That's the avatar you operate. It's fucking, the shit blows my mind. And it's like, but it becomes, it starts to mesh with Buddhism in a weird way. I like the idea, though, of things like Neurlink for people, like, they want to cure blindness so that people who are paralyzed getting their usage of their limbs back. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Because I have a friend that, he was on my wrestling team when I was in high school. Yeah. He ended up having a cheat ended up falling, hitting his head, and he's paralyzed from here down. One of the fucking nicest kids, amazing athlete, amazing wrestler. Nightmare. But it's just like he had just the neck injury that really destroyed. And that's what you want. You want to figure out the Yamanaka factors are, that's the craziest shit, where you're, they, they, the stem cells go back to their beginning.
Starting point is 00:57:02 And you, so you actually start, you can create new cells in your eyes, in your hair, like all that. So they're reversing blindness. They're doing it right now in, the guy won a Nobel Prize. They're doing it right now in dogs. I just found out that most blind people aren't completely, they don't just see black. It's not like complete. Oh, really? Yeah, they see light.
Starting point is 00:57:23 That's why they don't take your eyes out. They just take your eyes out when people get infections. Problem with taking your eyes out is the cones in your eyes regulate your circadian rhythm. So when you look at light, it tells you when it's time to go to bed and when it's, you know, so you need to be able to gauge light and dark. Otherwise, it's fucks you are. Yeah. And people got mad at him for some reason. He's awesome.
Starting point is 00:57:45 Yeah. He cured 50 people's blindness. He was just on Rogan. Did you listen to it? No, was it good? I have no clue. I'm not a fan. No.
Starting point is 00:57:52 He just does nothing for me. There's something going on there. I can't put my finger. I'm like, I don't know. I don't fuck with him. You don't like him or just he just? No,
Starting point is 00:58:02 I just just not. I don't know what it is. There's probably like that. Yeah, I don't know what it is. I'm just like I see him on Rogan. I was like, skip that one.
Starting point is 00:58:10 Yeah. I, I don't know why, but I agree. And I don't know what, me neither. I don't know. I just go.
Starting point is 00:58:17 I don't know why I agree with you. I mean either. I've always felt that. that way. I think he's a great person. Maybe. Does this make sense? He does great things, but somehow I'm not interested. I don't know why. I'm not interested, but something's, there's something's going on there. I don't know what it is. Doesn't it feel, I can put my finger, I just go, I don't know, man. Nah. Doesn't it feel uncanny Valley? Do you know that the uncanny Valley theory? Where it's basically like anything that looks almost human, but it's not
Starting point is 00:58:41 completely human, and it makes you feel uncomfortable? I think I know what it is. It's just heat. I think I know what it is. The reason that you and I, the reason we all talk about fighting, okay, or we talk about sports, you know what I talk about it? What do we just have a conversation about? Levels. And the reason is because we all try hard to be good at something. And then when you see excellence, when you see real excellence that takes all the things like dedication, learning how to talk to yourself, the years, talent, all that,
Starting point is 00:59:10 it somehow gets us very intrigued because we respect it, because it's something that we, it brings out the best in humans, okay? Then there's another side of life where some people are really, good at manipulating an algorithm. They're really good at creating a popular, they're good at creating something where the eye goes to it. Could be Paris Hilton. It could be whatever, where you just do something, you do a lot of stuff. And then we all go, so he'll go, I'm going to do squid games, or I'm going to, I'm going to give away this much money. And everybody's like, yeah, that is not, that somehow is, is void of as good as, it's not inspiring. It's not inspiring. It's void of,
Starting point is 00:59:50 of the things that we really like, which is like when you watch a great comic, you watch like Bill Byr and you go, that dude, like how he wrote that, you know, whatever, we're always trying for something
Starting point is 00:59:59 and when you see spectacle, when you see somebody who's very good of getting the lens to turn on them and they make a lot of money doing it and they give away a lot of money. But giving the money away is another way of getting a lot of money. So it becomes this trick.
Starting point is 01:00:16 Yeah, and I'm not saying he's a bad person. I don't, I don't know if you're, Yeah, I don't know if he's bad or good. He's probably a good person. And then also where it's like every video, every, every, every video he does gets whatever, 100, 200 million views.
Starting point is 01:00:26 I'm like, I don't trust that. Like, I think there's something going on with him and YouTube. Oh, for sure. Like there's some, there's some, some weird in cahoots there with him and YouTube. I'm sure there is. Like every video he's ever done is like 25 million views. My first day. I'm like, what's going on here, man?
Starting point is 01:00:43 It's a popularity. Because like, we act like he just showed up on the scene and got like that. That took like, I think like a decade. of failing. He's a lot of work. He's an amazing guy in his own right in what he's. He doesn't have talent.
Starting point is 01:00:56 It's just like, that I could agree with. He has a good work ethic and he figured out the algorithm. It's almost like when you're trying to... I think he just said it. I mean, I think he's a good word. Yeah, because you don't get inspired by him.
Starting point is 01:01:08 You go, okay. No, I don't get inspired by him. So he's been doing it for five years. No, no. This is way back. Watch this. What's up, guys? It's currently
Starting point is 01:01:19 October 4th, 2015, yes. I'm probably like a freaking grown man when you see this. I'm still in high school right now. And, whoa, this camera still did. When you see this, I'm actually going to be in, I'm not even going to be in college. Yeah, he's not fun. He learned. So just quickly.
Starting point is 01:01:39 This kid is great. He's a kid. He's probably feeling awkward. He's probably not doing sports. It's hard to be a kid. No chicks. Right. And so.
Starting point is 01:01:48 Right. Yeah. And so sometimes when you're him, you're not the All-Star of the baseball football team. You figure it a path. Yeah, you're a little bit on the outside looking in. It probably wasn't that pleasant to be high school, but he's got a positive attitude. He's a smart, good guy. He's not a bad person.
Starting point is 01:02:04 Not at all. He's a good person. What I'm saying is that he figured out his lane. From what we see. And that's just not something I would do, but I appreciate him. I do appreciate him. The only thing that I say, because it's not a talent that he has, but I'm sure you know the same feeling.
Starting point is 01:02:21 When you're, when you know when you first try a joke on stage and like the crowd laughs, but you still didn't get it out right. And you're just like, I know that's not the way it's supposed to be yet. But the crowd knows, they have an idea what I'm supposed to be saying. Right. That's kind of what he did basically what he explains when he, with YouTube, where he's like, it was just every day I dial in figure out what went wrong, what didn't went wrong. You know, changing thumb.
Starting point is 01:02:43 Like, yeah, it's not really a talent that like I look at is like, wow, that's a talent. but he does have an eye for for his art. Yeah, he's doing something well. Yeah, he's crushing it. Brendan, I need auto parts, but I want a friendly staff. I want, I want to be able to get my, my brake-like fixed. Welcome to Beach 2 Sandy, Water Too Wet, the podcast where we do dramatic readings of the most wild and off-the-wall reviews on the internet.
Starting point is 01:04:24 We read real reviews about everything from Vegas weddings, matchmaking services, and Trader Joe's to caves, toddler beds, and Spirit Halloween. You won't believe the things people think absolutely must be said on the internet. How else would everyone know that some caves don't have Wi-Fi? We hear about the good, like the time a couple was happily married in a Vegas Denny's. And the bad, like who knew people stole from pet cemeteries? and the ugly. Because when there's soggy lettuce and the Chucky Cheese salad bar,
Starting point is 01:04:51 it can get pretty ugly. Join us every Wednesday wherever you listen to your podcast. I feel targeted by that Pet Cemetery's comment. I was about to say, wasn't that you? That was me. You have the same feelings with like Zuck, right? You know, I don't trust them.
Starting point is 01:05:06 Yeah, so those guys that... Well, Zuck created an actual technology that everyone in the world uses. Yeah, completely different. But I mean, as far as like... And Instagram, Zuck changed the way we communicate. Yeah, but they influence the world in different ways.
Starting point is 01:05:20 Now, was it a positive, you know? Yes and no. Yes and no, right? Yes and no. Like everything, there's a trade-off. Like, everything, there's good and there's bad. It just feels like we're going. I was watching, there's a show called Ultimatum,
Starting point is 01:05:35 and me and my girl were watching it. It's basically like couples go on a show, and one person in the relationship wants to get married, the other one doesn't. So they do a trial breakup and then date other people on the show and live with that person. Oh, yeah. That's a Temptation Island.
Starting point is 01:05:49 No, ultimatum. Oh. And there was this one kid on the show that every time he had like a problem, he would go and actually talk to Jack GBT. He goes, how can I talk to my girlfriend about this? And it showed me like, we're at a point now where people don't actually know how to conversate or how to, because he was actually talking to his girl. My four-year-old son.
Starting point is 01:06:10 And he goes, so how else do you feel? Explain. And in a way that like he sounded so robotic that I'm like, it's kind of. fucking freaky. Well, my son at four discovered Alexa when we were on vacation and he was asking her all the questions. And Alexa was knew that it was a child and was talking to my son like the, like did such a good job. And we were like, we got to get away from this. We're going to have robots to do that. But what's said is like that, that gray matter in your brain that makes you a social creature, it starts to shrink at a certain point. And then now you're just like, you're just another fucking robot.
Starting point is 01:06:44 you're no different like you're talking like AI you're answering questions that way which is not good for a human to human relationship at all I always go like this too like AI's great you have all the answers but it's not we're not necessarily we can't live on just answers it's not you don't you know it's like that I was saying you've got all the information but but you're not any closer to the truth you know it's like okay yeah this guy was dating this girl his own girlfriend for four years and at one point in on the date he goes what's fun to you and I'm just like what kind of fucking fucking robot ass after six years. What's fun to you?
Starting point is 01:07:19 What do you like to do for fun? Yeah. And she went, can you talk to me like a human? And he goes, how do you feel about that? Oh my God. What is happening?
Starting point is 01:07:26 But that's what he's been trained to do. You ever have somebody to do this? What are you excited about right now in your life? Ugh. Hey, you. Ugh. Just, I don't want to talk to.
Starting point is 01:07:35 What's your why? Fuck off. What's your why? Fuck off. That's, yeah, that's, that's, that's awesome. So what's your why? What's your why? That's embarrassing.
Starting point is 01:07:45 Seize the day. I was at coffee with these young gals. I went to coffee at these young gals in Venice and they go. So what are your goals? I know. How'd that happen? You know? And I went.
Starting point is 01:07:56 You're like, I'm 60 years old. They gave me my coffee. And I got him. Living them. Living them. What's your goals? Excuse me? When I said living in them, they went, what?
Starting point is 01:08:05 That's amazing. This was about five, six years ago, seven years ago. It's sad. because you're 60 what do you mean your goals but anybody who has goals at 60 nobody don't be interested if I have a if I have a dream board
Starting point is 01:08:22 get the fuck out of here nobody cares about a 60 year old but anyone doing that stuff on his dream board anyone who's actually doing that they're not going to tell you you know if they have goals and shit they're not going to tell you they're out doing it is this your way of saying you're not going to run up to them and go
Starting point is 01:08:37 what's your why it's like oh buddy you got you got to get out of my fox that's very new like my father's generation I don't do it either. My father's generation would never, like your father's generation, they would never, they never spoke that way. My generation doesn't either.
Starting point is 01:08:51 It's these younger kids. And then be outspoken about your mental health. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. You see these bosses now? You see these bosses? You see this boss. No, you see these bosses now because people take mental health days.
Starting point is 01:09:04 Yeah. And bosses are like, I can't run my company with this shit. What do you mean a mental health day? Suck it up. Yeah, not really in Texas. It's more of a Cali, New York thing. Yeah. Is that a chance, sir?
Starting point is 01:09:14 I guess so. What else you got? I mean, I didn't pull anything up yet. But real quick, with the AI thing, I remember Nick was tripping out of me because I was, I was saying hi. And then after I finished asking chatchipsy, I say thank you. He goes, dude, you actually do that? And I told them, I go, I feel like in the future, I'm not going to be doing, because I'm doing it so often. I'm using it so often.
Starting point is 01:09:34 I'm going to stop using that in real life. I'll just be like, what's your name? Okay. And they just go. I got to make sure I keep tabs on it. Yeah, but I see it too with like married couples or where they talk to their kids. Like the last thing I always say my kids is love you. Always always.
Starting point is 01:09:48 I see my wife always always. Love you, bye, love you. And when I see people go, yeah, I grab the pizza, click. I'm like, that's the way you talk to people. But to your point, I think that's because of tax, because of AI. The way they start coming in me, I'm like, you know how rude that is, dude? What's wrong with you? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:03 If my girl hung up the phone on me without saying that, I'd call back and like, what the fuck? Like, what happened? Yeah, what I do? What the fuck happened? Yeah. What's wrong with you? It's so weird to me. All right, kids.
Starting point is 01:10:15 Let me show you this for quick. So Shane Gillis broke the world record for the most tickets sold for an individual, I guess, entertainer. 74,000 tickets. That's so fucking dope. So cool. 76,000 tickets. Shane's the man. Let me just play this.
Starting point is 01:10:30 Shane Gillis is now the proud. Shane Gillis is now the proud world record holder for most tickets ever sold by a solo comedian with 76,000. This is a comedy show, folks. This is not WrestleMania. This is not Muhammad Ali. This is Shane Gillis telling jokes. This makes me so happy. That's so awesome.
Starting point is 01:11:03 The official number is going anywhere from like 74 to 77,000. And again, usually these type of crowds are for an absolute spectacle. And the fact that Shane Gillis' comedy has risen to that level is fucking insane. I've had Guinness show up to my shows for the least amount of people that have ever shown up to a comedy show. That's so crazy. It's in, it's wild. It's superstar shit. If Guinness, he's the biggest.
Starting point is 01:11:28 If the Guinness Book of World's record shows up to your comedy show, that's fucking crazy. You're doing something right. No, it's a great guy too. It's a great person. One of the real ones. Down to Earth motherfucker. All right, kids. Where are you going to be at this weekend?
Starting point is 01:11:42 San Antonio, Texas, kids. I'm driving right there. Laugh out loud. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, doing a Sunday show. That's an easy one. Oh, yeah. That's an easy one, though. Yep.
Starting point is 01:11:50 That's an easy one. That's a good one. Nicholas? And then I'm in Canada next month. The Friday and Saturday are selling really well. I really need more people to come out to the Thursday one. Thursdays are tough too. And Edmonton, that's a tough one.
Starting point is 01:12:04 Yeah. Yeah, because everything's looking good, but they're like Thursday's a little light and I'm like. Saturday, Saturday's fun though. Yeah. All right, kids, that's it. We love you. This fine kid. We're out.
