Starting point is 00:02:37 Last American bro, yeah last American bro Brian Calipast away. Yep No, he's getting his lids done again and he's getting a two pay so that's cool It's funny because I love him so much, but it's really worked out for me. Yeah That's how it goes man the fighter on the bro. So we're like Florida state somebody goes down We wanted empty chair But we have to rally the troops because our boy jelly roll is in LA dad. Yeah, baby I'm this first. I've been in LA in four years. Wow Yeah, you wouldn't want to be here the past three. It man It was not good enough. It's still about everything. They it wasn't as bad as far as like
Starting point is 00:03:13 You know like there was a lot of math course. I did the math thing at Kimmel. Obviously, but um really? Disney. Oh, that's Disney. Well that had to get nose fucked twice I had nose fucked twice. And it was crazy. Now you came to LA, obviously to see me number one, but number two to do Jimmy Kimmel. Yeah, for sure. Big deal. Believe it or not, you were the,
Starting point is 00:03:33 you and you hooked me up with Bird, of course. And that was like the goal. And I was like, well, yeah, we'll do Kimmel while we're there. Yeah, Kimmel's the third place. I am like crazy enough on a podcast saying that your podcast actually saying that I would rather do Bert, Rogan, your mom's house or anything if I had to choose.
Starting point is 00:03:56 Like if they were like nine o'clock tonight you'd get to do Kimmel, Fallon or your mom's house. I'm like Tom. Oh, for sure, right? But also, yeah, for sure, and also Tom's show is bigger than that. Right, yeah, yeah, but you know what's funny? People don't watch TV anymore.
Starting point is 00:04:10 Yeah, but as such a comedian fan, it's just for me, it's like to go talk shit with the boys. Yeah, that's a fun hangout. For sure. And then also, you know, you being on, I think just, like we told him on Kim, Kim was like, oh, that is dope, man, because there's still that kind of, you know, that vibe beyond Kim,
Starting point is 00:04:28 well, you see, like, it's just like you're blowing up, dude. You're there. For me, it was doing it because you're as a kid, like my mother's excited I'm doing, yeah. Right, you know what I mean? Like, she ate any late night TV. She was like, dude, like, you know, like her, her Facebook has been an omen to me playing TV
Starting point is 00:04:44 for the last week. It's like just a homage. So this is a big deal. And I like it because I got to sing. Like, it's, I get to come here and talk shit. There was like, it was a one thing I sung. See what I said today, I said, hopefully Jimmy Kimmel, like, obviously, they're gonna let you perform. I was like, if Jimmy Kimmel only knew how entertaining, jelly Roll is, they would sit him down and give him a mic. Right, I know, I was, I can't paint for it. When they sent the email, because Chelsea Handler's filling in for him this week,
Starting point is 00:05:13 and I know Chelsea. Yes, she's good. I hit her, I was like, yo, fucking, like, who's your guest at night, like, part one of them, look at all the people who are the guests. You know, don't get me in trouble. No, okay. You know what, it does it,
Starting point is 00:05:24 I don't know, I can't pronounce either Out I literally I felt so bad I look at the names and I'm like I butchered on bad I'm so glad I'm a huge fan of you Amit Centooie Whatever the name was but it's just a bummer because finally you get on Jimmy Kimmel. You're hoping it's like, I don't know. He was like, shack. Oh, for sure. Like, give me Pete Davis and give me Pete. You don't like out one of the tonight show was like just other comics. That
Starting point is 00:05:54 was the worst. Yeah, there's like a green room hangout. No, I was like, I was like, I wonder who this you hope for a big celebrity. Because instead of not only do you get to do the tonight show, but then you get to meet the celebrities like you're saying. And they're like, oh, also on your episode is, a season sorry. You're like, I saw him last night at the cellar. Like that's not what I work with him, man.
Starting point is 00:06:11 Yeah, no, no, please book somebody, huh? I can't remember. I'm a person, some black girl I can flirt with and yeah. But I will say, you're Kimmelley, you can put it on your Instagram. You'll get the footage, put that on Instagram, then a ton of people will see. Oh, that makes sense.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Nobody's gonna see it on TV. You'll get like 12 texts. My data sees what you're gonna do. You'll post it on Instagram, you'll get the footage, put that on Instagram, then a ton of people will see. Oh, that makes sense. Nobody's gonna see it on TV, you'll get like 12 texts. My data sees it. You'll post it on Instagram, you'll get hundreds of texts. I can grab, oh Jimmy Kim, but that was awesome. You know, that's how people see stuff is on the internet. What I hope happens is, is there's a small needle that gets moved tonight, and it helps me.
Starting point is 00:06:39 And it helps me, right? Not even from like, meaning like, jelly roll people tune in. Right, and there's like a clear little thing that happens where somebody from TV calls and goes, we don't know who the fuck you are, but more people tuned in for that seven minutes and they have for any other seven minutes this month.
Starting point is 00:06:54 Yeah, I think that's gonna happen, but then I also think you being presented to the masses. Like, love people, I'm like, oh, that's dope. Any can sing? Right, I'm saying. For sure. That's what they put it on their Instagram, like that kind of stuff, it's when it lives on the internet,
Starting point is 00:07:07 that's how you get them. You wanted to be outside of your crowd. Like, your crowd, we got, for sure. We'll do a show, this, they'll watch this. Which I think I get. It's like getting a write up in a, is it variety? Yeah. It's like, you don't do that for fans,
Starting point is 00:07:19 you do that for industry, right? So it's like, what I really hope happens here too is that festival bookers and people are like, okay, So it's like, what I really hope happens here too is that festival bookers and people are like, okay, this kid's like, it has a chance at critical mass pop culture. 100% of that. You know what I'm saying? Cause right now I'm like the fucking rapper, rocker country singer
Starting point is 00:07:34 that hangs out with nothing but comedians and drinks himself to sleep every night, which is all true. Yeah, it's what I'm saying. Check, check, check. You nailed that like that. He's speaking to what's cheers boy. Cheers brother. I love it, you know what I love you.'s speaking to what's cheers boys. Cheers brother. I love it you're in LA.
Starting point is 00:07:45 I love you. Thank you for just stopping your whole life like, yeah dude, I've never potted at night, but I'm fucking there. I'm like, it's gonna be eight. You were like, whatever. Yeah, for you, you're the one guy I'd pulled off for, man. You though one guy, I mean Jimmy Kimmel did big deal.
Starting point is 00:07:58 You're kind of huge. Now, you know, you know Mike's done it all. Oh, of course. Yeah, I love Mike. Yeah, I'm the homie. Mike's my boy, he'll be out here shoot next week, Mike's done it all. Oh, of course. Yeah, I love Mike. Yeah, I'm the homie. Mike's my boy, he'll be out here shoot next week. But he's another guy similar to you where he's been, you know, preaching independent all the time.
Starting point is 00:08:15 And they've thrown some bags. I'm like, I'm good. I'm gonna keep doing it myself. But you signed with a... I did. Well, I worked out a really good partnership with the company. I just, you know what I had a moment of clarity for for one, I can only talk about this so much because of
Starting point is 00:08:27 a non-disclosure agreement. You signed with Daily Wire, right? Yeah, that's exactly how did you know? I kept, I kept ownership of my masters, which is huge. It's huge. I kept 100% of my publishing still, I kept the lion's share of the streaming revenue, and I mean, like, if this would be like a fucking Floyd Mayweather Mark has fight one kind of deal. Yeah. Like, right, that's probably the most diplomatic way
Starting point is 00:08:56 I can say it when I get myself in trouble. So what's in it for them though? Just that way. Well, you, I think it'll be on their network. I was lucky that the president of the company just really believed in doing different stuff. That's cool. So his thing was like, look, I know I'm not going to make a lot of money off you and that it's going to be more than it's worth.
Starting point is 00:09:18 But I, he's in the, he's in the legacy shit. He's a dude that's like changing the face of country music. Like this record label is called Broken Bo Records. Y'all know nothing about country music, I'm sure. But I'll give you the briefing of it. Jason Aldene, Chen knows. Yeah, I know. The stuff that she's bought is there.
Starting point is 00:09:35 Huge. Aldene's the big one. But like Jimmy Allen's one of their artists, which is like a black dude that dresses like a pamphin, bowls every day. And it's like, not what you would think is like. You came from American Idol. Yeah, y'all would love each other.
Starting point is 00:09:49 It's like, not what you think would be a country artist. Blanco Brown, who had that real big song, put you here down, then, who's that? But you get a bit of that. Took a number one country radio. Laney Wilson, who's like this hippie bell bottomware and chick that sings country music, like their whole thing is painting outside of the lines.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Like they don't wanna be like, hey, give me a big tall handsome dude with a cowboy hat that grew up in Cheyenne, Wyoming with a big country song. Like give me a dude that, yeah, yeah, right. They're like, give me a dude that does not look like he belongs here. I did that.
Starting point is 00:10:22 And let's make it work. So I just kinda lucky for me, Jonathan Loba and Adrian and me, Bob Michaels were like, yeah dude, we're into this different shit. So all these labels wanted to put me in like pop. They were like, yo, what if we get you a song with Charlie Puth? And I was like, I'm not interested. I was like, I was like, I wanna play the Grand Old Opera
Starting point is 00:10:38 from Nashville. You know what I mean? Like, I wanna, you know. So finally, and then I'd go to the record labels and that's when they were like, hold on. You want us to take a do with a nickname, Like I wanna, you know, so finally, and then I'd go to the record labels and that's whenever I'd be like, hold on. You want us to take a do with a nickname, a criminal record, face tattoos, and permanent gold teeth,
Starting point is 00:10:50 and put out a rock and roll or a country record. And then I'd get the fuck outta here. And this dude was like, yeah, no problem. We're gonna take you straight where you wanna go. There goes the granola for debut. Damn. It was incredible. They did it. They told me they were gonna do it, and they did it.
Starting point is 00:11:01 This is the record label? Yeah, yeah, so it's like, when they came in, I said, look, I just kinda of like you, I'm like, I've got all of the, make my own music, write my own songs, produce my own record, shoot my own videos, put my own content out. I just need you to get me the stuff that I can't get as an independent.
Starting point is 00:11:16 Correct. Right? Can you get me to radio? Can you get me to Kimmel? Yep. You know what I mean? My publicist, I got a publicist for the first time in my life. When I came to LA, she couldn't book me nothing
Starting point is 00:11:28 because I booked myself with the stuff I wanted to do. I was like, yo, job. I'm doing Burton. She's awesome, no, she did Kimmel, right? She's doing her job. She's been great. So she's, but she's like, yo, do you want to do this? And I was like, oh, no, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:11:41 You don't understand. I'm with homies. I'm like a comedian in spirit. I'm going to see Shob. He hooked me up with Bird. I'm gonna go see Bird. You no, I'm sorry. You don't understand, I'm with homies. Like, I'm like a comedian in spirit. I'm going to see a shop, you hook me up with bird, I'm gonna go see bird, you know what I'm saying? I got a circuit here, I was like, I'll be all right, I'm cool. Listen man. I don't like waiting for a paycheck, dude.

Oh, dude, I love this new podcast called Business Wars. It's a podcast from Wondry that shares entertain eye-popping stories Oh, dude, I love this new podcast called Business Wars.
Starting point is 00:12:45 It's a podcast from Wondry that shares entertaining eye-popping stories behind the world's greatest business rivalries. All right. New season of Wondry. Oh my God, Business Wars, four part series hosted by David Brown. Ever heard of them? Yep, he sure is. It's the bitter feud between two fashion icons, Gucci and Louis Vuitton.
Starting point is 00:13:00 Oh my God, no better way to show off your money and stats than by wearing a Gucci belt or a Louis Vuitton shoe. At first serious deal. Oh my God, no better way to show off your money and stats than by wearing a Gucci belt or Louis Vuitton shoe. At first glance, these two companies have a lot in common. Wait, they start small, family owned, making high quality luggage, but as their product lines grew, they got more popular. The set, listen, these two powerhouses were on a collision course. Yeah, man, before long, the rivalry would devolve
Starting point is 00:13:23 into family futures. Oh, there's in like hiring assassins to kill other people. That's how bad it was, it was actually. Boardroom battles, run waist backstabbing. Oh yeah. It was insane. Oh, that sounds good. The Gucci versus Louis Vuitton from Business Wars
Starting point is 00:13:37 on Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, listen one week early and add free by joining One Re plus in Apple Podcasts or the one rehab That that story Gucci verse. I can't believe they haven't done a movie about me neither It's a wait for it. It's insane. You know those P. I had a for my special I was gonna hire a PR firm and then I go okay What can you do for me? I'm like right? Well tell us what you already have and I gave this list I was like these are all my boys this way is what I have. And what can you do?
Starting point is 00:14:05 Like, we cannot beat that. No. Pubses are tough that way. Like my manager, like no matter what e-books, when no matter what my agent books, they only get 10% of it. But they only get paid if I get that 90%. Whereas the Pubses just takes five grand
Starting point is 00:14:20 and goes, yeah, we got nothing for this month. They're like, well, you didn't do anything and I still got to pay you. They're like, yeah, that's a different thing. That's like, why don't you think this is my thing? Yeah, I don't mean that. I don't mean that. They get paid for effort.
Starting point is 00:14:30 They can say, well, we really reached out to a lot of people. Yeah, they make you feel bad. No, we wanted you. Yeah, that's a fucking cold. Yeah, I'm on here. I really pay my therapist. Can I ask a dumb question to you? Of course.
Starting point is 00:14:43 Where did the name jelly roll start? Oh, this is a good question. My mother started it. I don't know this. My mother. I was a chunky kid and, you know, she called me jelly roll and I spent the last 35 years trying to grow into the name. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:56 I think I've done her proud. I don't think I'll let her down at all. Even if you don't know what it is, you'd be like, you want a jelly roll to be like, I don't even know what that is, but yeah. You know the good. The cursive was I had to beat a famous blues player, a famous harmonica player and the god damn pastry on Google.
Starting point is 00:15:11 You know, fucking hard that was. That is a fucking pastry. It is a beast. Jesus, dude, it was, oh, there's a famous harmonica player called jelly roll Johnson. I've known about him forever. Great name. Fucking so sick. And-
Starting point is 00:15:23 You play the harmonica. So listen, watch. Here's the taste you know, Jellie Roll Johnson and I met him at the Grand Old Opera last Saturday. He doesn't look like a jelly roll. No, he's a pretty thin fella This is back when he was a chunky monkey. He's a far smaller guy now But he's like crazy famous harmonica play really nice on the Really is nice on the mother. Yeah, I'm on a good spot. My mother fucker. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:15:44 I'll check the jelly roll. Yeah. It kicks ass, so we got to hang out. I finally met him and I thought he was gonna hate me. Yeah. I was like, this dude's gonna despise me because I'm sure he's like, you know, the first thing he said was like,
Starting point is 00:15:54 I get emails from your fans all the time. Like talking shit? No, just like, you're not the real talk. We know the real thing. He's me. Yeah. He's like, hey, you wanna grab lunch or something? He's like, what?
Starting point is 00:16:06 But he actually ended up being really cool. I don't think you're hateable in any capacity. Jelly, yeah. No, you're very likable, you're approachable, you're talented, you got a cool look. I will say like this 40 years ago or something, probably wouldn't have a lot of people approaching you. Yeah, that's a problem.
Starting point is 00:16:22 But like in modern times, like you're like, that's, yeah, cool, nice, fun, thanks, thanks. Well, think about it too, like the biggest guy in music probably post Malone. Yeah, for sure. That too is always right. Oh, the best part.
Starting point is 00:16:33 Oh, my grandma would go, is he safe? Yeah, grandma. He's gonna pull up, he's gonna like now. Teddy Swims came by the show last night. I don't know if y'all know Teddy, but yeah, he's one of the best singers on fucking. Really?
Starting point is 00:16:44 I'm gonna turn you on the friend of a stranger life Yeah incredible. He's I only want you to pull him up. We'll pull it cuz he's my friend Let me see what he looks like god because he looks like me as far as like you know I said it was a guy. I'm into this Yeah, this is Teddy's ringer up, but it's a guy I know this is Teddy. Oh, he looks sweet. Yeah, for you looks like you and post Malone had a baby But let me tell you something dude if he's in a room right now. He's a I call him my twin But if he's in here singing I'm leaving
Starting point is 00:17:11 He's really good of a singer. He's such a singer really In with the fuck up Talking about here R&B everything like he's just so soulful. It's so good. Oh man He's got that clip. He's got love. You know what, pull up the clip, the one he just dropped that out. Just a smile, tagger. I love his life. I don't know, I'm sure it was,
Starting point is 00:17:30 but it was, you'll love the hook, y'all up. You got to get him on the pod. You got nine on check message. Oh look, you're on post-production. Yeah. Uh, was that look? And that, if he's as talented, you guys are,
Starting point is 00:17:42 rather top right chin. So he's like, he's like, yeah, it's like him sitting in a place with a piano I'm sure you see what the making sure he's got a big mega train record the towel right now oh so he's already massed yeah
Starting point is 00:17:53 not like any city like all tattooed on his face and shit well we're just here a little bit of this this is simple baby to the way he is well and there's still this is simple. Yeah, but what kind of gig is this? I had a pussy I'd give it to him right now.
Starting point is 00:18:16 Oh my God. He can sing. He was against jelly. He did the just a small town. He literally was just doing Like a alley. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you'll see a journey record. He's just he's just singing this in like a subway or some shit That's not like to a microphone. That's there's no editing on that That's there's no editing on that
Starting point is 00:18:47 He's fucking hate him Why am I showing everybody this I just lost every fan I have oh no See the world ever been It's he doesn't miss. He's a little bit of a person at the time. Oh my god. Yeah, he's a hunter. So he comes at a show last night.
Starting point is 00:19:10 And we're just, we're hanging. And we were talking about that, like how, you know, he's tied it up, but he just has this big pop record with mega trainer coming out, post Malone, like, there's a shift of that shit in the game right now. That's dope. Because I was sitting there like just blackout drunk last night. Yeah, we got drunk last night.
Starting point is 00:19:29 So we're like blackout drunk at true with door after the show. Oh yeah, yeah, for sure. Yeah, I was fucking smack. Well, I got smacked. What's the date? But anyways, I got smacked the first night I got here. Today's Wednesday. You're asking the wrong guy.
Starting point is 00:19:43 Tuesday's Tuesday. Okay, so yeah, yeah, not to date it, but whatever. I got here. Today's Wednesday? You're asking the wrong guy. Tuesday's Tuesday. Okay, so yeah, yeah, yeah, not to date it, but whatever. I got here Sunday night and we went, so I got drunk twice on Sunday. Okay. I got to share the story, which is awesome. I had a 6 a.m. flight and I got drunk on the first flight.
Starting point is 00:19:56 Nice. I drank two margaritas and five double vodkas and sodas. I only drink vodka. That'll do it. I got fucking sliced. I mean, completely inebriated on the plane. And it was like the first time I had a flight attendant that not only was like, you know, normally they're like
Starting point is 00:20:10 policing you. This dude turned into a bartender. He was like twisty, was like, they're gonna make me drink. He's like doing a comedy routine for me. He saw me hiking shit. Well, A, he's trying to say, could they be. That's what it is.
Starting point is 00:20:24 What is it? What is it? I've been there, man., but also that's that first class treatment. Yeah, yeah Rare air class they let it the first time I flew first class for an extended enough time for them to get me drunk Yeah, and I was like this is interesting. So I landed drunk and then when I sobered up enough I was like I'm tired, so then we just went to the rainbow room and got drunk again Nice what your girl was with you. Yeah. Yeah, we went marched. We went we just went to the rainbow room. We got drunk again. Nice. What your girl was with you? Yeah, yeah, we went marched. We took it from the rainbow room to saddle ranch. Oh damn you was a ball We are you stand the chateau? Yeah. Yeah. Oh dang you're happy. Yeah, we're having a good day. Yeah, we're having a really good time We're here for sure. Yeah, that's where John Blushy
Starting point is 00:21:01 died. Yeah, really? Yeah, yeah, fuck. That's what they say. Yeah, that's it. Yeah, it's some wild. That's also where a lot of the videos of Biden, Jr. Yeah. A lot of it's in the Chateau. Yeah. I bet our president Biden haunts that place now.
Starting point is 00:21:17 Oh yeah. Yeah. He's dead, right? And Hillary. Yeah. Yeah, she's dead, right? Yeah, I think I'm dead. Yeah, Chateau, meanwhile, there's some classic stories there man boys get
Starting point is 00:21:27 wild there yeah yeah blue she died there I wish you lived closer to me yeah I'm get drunk every night where are you people just judge me you're here yeah I need a guy to go get drunk with where where you live out here yeah I live here yeah look close yeah I'll be next to you listen I never thought I'd ever live in LA until I came to your studio today. That's nice. When I got off the exit, I was like, this is an LA. Right?
Starting point is 00:21:52 This is like Spring Hill Tennessee. Yeah, to me, like, when I think of LA, I think of this. Like, everyone thinks of the Hollywood, and all that craziness. Hollywood is dark. Actually, where I live in Sherman Oaks, we had a bar that was open every single night of the pandemic, including the lockdown.
Starting point is 00:22:06 And they're like, we don't believe in this ship. We gotta pay our mortgage and we'll take whatever fine the city gives us. And so, there. Oh yeah, it was dope though. I got COVID from there. Yeah, that's all right. Well, it was awesome.
Starting point is 00:22:18 I was like, I'll be fine. What's the place called? And everybody's so, it was called the Woodman. But I have a better bar right next to it. There's a diver called the Chimney Sweep, which is the best bar in the world right next to it. There's a diver called the chimney sweep. It's just the best bar in the world in my opinion. There's a guy. You want to go get drunk tonight?
Starting point is 00:22:29 Yeah, dude. I'm already gonna be the sweep anyways. Yeah, he's it. He's it. Yeah, dude. I want to love this place. I want to go to a Lakers game with Jeff and we're driving back home. I got kids, man, I'd be up at fucking 5.30.
Starting point is 00:22:40 We're driving back and he's like, hey, man, when you go to the bar, I'm like, no, and do what? Like, yeah, he's like, hey man, when we go to the bar I'm like, and do what? He's like, I just dropped me off. Got this solo. Don't take me home. We just dropped the sad job and some random like cheers bar and fucking love. Yeah, the chimney sweep, bro.
Starting point is 00:22:56 So you from 1992, Justin? I am. You're the last American bro. So the chimney sweep is my favorite. It's my favorite strip of the chimney sweep. Me and my buddy, Willia there, very funny comment, comedian, Willie Simon, we're there. And this dude gets up and just starts a fight.
Starting point is 00:23:09 Just no reason, walks up to the table, something looked out of him, where I'm, you just starts fighting this guy. So they get him out of there, it's kind of exciting. We're all, God's been bound, that was pretty fucking cool to see a fight. And then the next night, we're there again. Same guy starts a fight with a different dude,
Starting point is 00:23:22 another fist fight gets kicked out. It's getting into the therapist. Third night in a row, the same guy has nobody a fight with a different dude another fist fight gets kicked out Third down a row This same guy has nobody to fight with so he just attacks for no reason tries to blind side the door guy Oh, the door guys a big guy and so that they take care of that the kick him out I say to the bartender more I go, Mori Why why do you guys keep letting that guy in he's gonna fight three nights a row? She goes oh well, you know He sells drugs here Yeah, they can't kick him out. I thought you said, yeah, she owns the
Starting point is 00:23:49 that's also not allowed. But now he's protected. Bro, this bar set, it sounds like you go to the always sunny and filled Elf you bought. That's what sounds like. It is a divey divey like there's homeless people. And then also you see like Hillary Duff playing like darts. Yeah. Like it's like got all the whole gamut of the of life. And the bartenders poor whiskey like that big. You pay like Hillary Duff playing like darts. Yeah, like it's like got all the whole gamut of of the of life And the bartender's poor whiskey like that big you pay like four bucks. You know Oh, yeah, that's by at least that I'm in I'll go tonight. You to it. That's a trouble. Yeah We're going we're going do we have to pass there to get to Hollywood?
Starting point is 00:24:16 Yeah, actually Sherman X right there. We'll swing through and have some drinks on our way to the rainbow room That's not your brother drink to oh, fucking it. Like a bitch. He's probably out there stealing shit. My brother is probably out there right now just stealing the balls you give us anyway. Just pocketing or on a camera. You got a, yeah, for sure. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:24:36 He's stealing. And we only steal drugs. Did you guys grow up close? Yeah, dude, it's not so close with my whole family. Really? Yeah, man. Pretty sweet. It's my older brother, it's my middle really. We got one older, I'm the baby,
Starting point is 00:24:47 we got one older than him, got him, and I got an older sister than me. And they've all supported you. Oh, dude, we've been cool. We've been as close as thick as these our whole lives. I'm so jealous of that. Yeah. That's so cool.
Starting point is 00:24:58 You know, rare that is? Do you know that's really rare? Yeah, I've realized it until, until now. Not a lot of guys with face tattoos talking about them just gonna love their whole family. Oh dude, we're great. We're all super white trash. So, but that's so beautiful.
Starting point is 00:25:11 I'm like, Jelsa. We're a big old white trash bash. And he's not like Jelsa, like they, he's fucking hilarious by the way. He's the funniest human on earth. Does he have any skills as far as singing or anything? No dude, he's literally just fucking wild. It's just like it has been in my whole life.
Starting point is 00:25:25 Does he work, does he like a blood man? No, it's even crazier man. I can't afford him. He got in, when he got out of prison, he got in to his home, fuck we all been. It's like a family tradition. Let's talk about that. It's like graduating college with that.
Starting point is 00:25:39 Oh, you got your degree too. Two years, yeah. It's your Mormon mission. He came home with a secret point. He got into like engineering. Yo, Scott. Yo, Scott's your Mormon mission. He came home and figured he got into like engineer. Yo Scott Yo, yo, yo, what are you called at shit besides a survey and you got a cool word for it now He does like light are like what do you call a civil engineer or something? He does like 3d so like ultimately he surveys, but he does the new style of it like the LiDar 3D imaging like yeah
Starting point is 00:26:07 Drones and all that shit. He's like to do the He can go if you get a piece of property Call my brother before you pay a survey dude my brother will be the dude that'll come out of it like yeah, you're fucked That's swamp land. That's bad Because he's all tatted up and drunk He's fucking just like how long was he and he'll sit here and do rails of coke the size of that tear of monopause It's like it here doing motley crew lines of cocaine Yeah, he's fucking a complete he just got out of jail. I was like yeah, I got a figure so boy started just serving
Starting point is 00:26:36 You know, you just somehow got into what what put him in the slammer? I think it was like an old drug case or something. Yeah So that's okay. That's not fair drug, sir. I mean come on Yeah, then he was like fucking after like his third or fourth time in jail I was young I go visit him all the time so he came home and got into fucking like surveying or something Did you walk in a jail when you're visiting him like with the way you walked in the studio like this? All right Maybe should yeah, yeah I was like, oh my brother was here
Starting point is 00:27:02 This is all right, this isn't bad. Yeah, fuck. I got friends for sure, I'm a D-Ford. And he's the oldest? Yeah, well, he's the second oldest. Our oldest brother's in the meat business like my father. And did he love it? This is, though, this should I never talk about him? No, I love it. And did he also go to prison?
Starting point is 00:27:15 No, he's the only one that stayed kind of moved around. We have right fucking losers. He's a shit. We're the other didn't go to black age. No, no, Rogers, actually the one who followed our father's footsteps, our father was in the meat business,
Starting point is 00:27:26 and wholesale meat and poultry and stuff. We somewhere in a sausage truck back in the day, back when the meat trucks would come to your house. Yeah. We're all, I don't know. I think we're all too young to remember, but there was a time where like meat trucks would come to your house. Like the milkman.
Starting point is 00:27:39 Yeah, like the milkman. Yeah, yeah. And they pull up the neighborhood, it was like the ice cream truck. Everybody knew the meatman was there. You know what I mean? I don't know. That's what I'm talking about. Like Austin, right? Fuck Postmates. Yeah, so it, and they pull up the neighborhood is like the ice cream truck everybody knew the meat man was there You know Awesome, right? Fuck post-bates. Yeah, so it's like he turned it to a host cell business
Starting point is 00:27:50 It started doing independent barbecues and shit like a CB Smith's buy right before Walmart came and fucked up All you guys are pretty fucking smart. No, what's the sister do? The sister is actually got a master's in psychology and she's a lunatic. She doesn't do anything with it But she she literally went and got a master's degree to figure out herself. Wow. Who she is is a human. The most expensive.
Starting point is 00:28:11 Because we all grew up poor enough that she could get a full ride to any school for the whatever scholarship. So she was like, yeah, fuck, I'll just go figure this shit out and went and got like a full degree in psychology. Because she was like, I'll just try to be crazy and I know why.
Starting point is 00:28:21 It does nothing with it. Yeah, she just raises her daughter and fucking get a chill. That's amazing. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, she just raises her daughter and fucking get a chill. That's crazy. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, she's a full time guy. And she's also really smart. She's the one I call when I want to laugh or talk about real shit.
Starting point is 00:28:32 Damn. That's not exciting. Cause she's funny as fuck too. Yeah. No, I got a wild fucking family. Yeah, that is so loud. And there are two white trashes they can be. Well, I give white trash and all my sins.
Starting point is 00:28:43 We have drinking content. That same brother and there once pissed on my kitchen table at Thanksgiving Yeah, we had a drinking contest. He got blackout drunk pulled his willy on front of the whole family Everybody 40 people Thanksgiving dinner turkey on the table. Just let it ride right there We try to stop him. He wouldn't stop he just kept pissing I That long I pictured like you know he's 10 years old I pictured like you know he's 10 years old No, this is like 20 years old
Starting point is 00:29:24 Last year it was like it was the fucking way It was the same day I hung out with y'all for Thanksgiving For gay and his face That's right man That's right man It's never a little hell The fucking next day My brother blacked out drunk and pissed all over
Starting point is 00:29:37 That's right man I'm gonna send you to see your swear to God for this podcast That is what you do It's your brother to be indigenous people You know he's mad at Thanksgiving for this podcast. That is what you do. It's your brother. It's a big digger. Indigenous people, you know, he's bad at Thanksgiving. So we're like a competitive family. So once we all started drinking, between me, him and our older brother, you know, it normally turns into some shit.
Starting point is 00:29:55 I feel like you've won. Oh, I'm undefeated. That's a dude, when people say, I drink, I'm telling you, you don't drink like jealous. For sure. I'm actually, I've never seen a guy like that. A few times ago that I was on this podcast, we brought you up because when we were, I drink, I'm telling you, you don't drink like Joe. For sure. I'm actually, I've never seen you. A few times ago that I was on this podcast, we brought you up because when we were all in Nashville,
Starting point is 00:30:09 like I'm gone and I'm pretty good at drinking and he's already left the place and you're still going around with shots at tequila. So how's it going? You want another one I'm gonna have? You're probably shouldn't be. Sure, no, you drank with me but you were on the ropes. Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:30:22 Yeah, if we had to walk a straight line to settle that bet, I'm winning. Yeah, sure, yeah. I'm shaping what you walked out, and I walked out. I'm a drunk, but like, yeah, I think you're a big guy. You know, my favorite thing was that night is the next day, Lucas.
Starting point is 00:30:38 David Lucas, he was on a kill Tony. Yeah. And he was like, yeah, I almost got kicked off my flight this morning. Tony was like, why, he's like, you ever heard of Jelly Roll? Tony Hitzklitz, like Yeah. And he was like, yeah, I almost got kicked off my flight this morning. Tony was like, why is that? You ever heard of Jelly Roll? Tony Hitzklitz, like, no, he's like, yeah, he's like a country gangster guy.
Starting point is 00:30:51 I know. He's like, anyways, that drank with him and like all the Austin White trash red next to him. And he was like, yeah, yeah. Yeah, it was awesome. I was like, yeah, I'm posting it. Yeah, that is fashion because like anytime you're getting
Starting point is 00:31:02 kicked off a plane for being too drunk, they're basically suggesting you're too drunk to sit. You know, you're just sitting there like you think a past. I was not allowed to get on a plane once. Only time it's happened in my life, I was coming out here to do during Super Bowl weekend. I was flying out here in the morning to do a We're supposed to do the fight the fight thing the Cal if I could. That's right. I forgot what fight it was, but it was Super Bowl weekend. I was coming. I had a 6 a.m. flight and I just drank through the night And I showed up to drunk and I wouldn't let me they wouldn't let me check in though
Starting point is 00:31:32 So it wasn't like I couldn't sit down that was I just fucked myself I walked in there like nobody cared smell like weed. I just like I was there. I was on blow I'm like fumbling for my phone. I can't find my ID. I'm like, can I just do the thing? Cause you don't even fly without an ID. You just gotta leave. Yeah, you go just go to the moon. My man, do my man work with a Costco car. He's with me on the road all the time.
Starting point is 00:31:52 He gets out his Costco car. Yeah. I'm like, TSA, what are we doing? What are you guys? I don't look fucking on the flyer. You Costco ID. Do they make you answer the questions?
Starting point is 00:32:02 Have you ever had to go through that? They put you through all the extra security, but I just finally, I just like, I didn't wanna go to the DMV, you know, like, but I finally did get it, but it was like six months of. I was like, do they ever view the quiz though? Like the one time I did it,
Starting point is 00:32:14 they had a thing where you could like, they were like, what card did you own in 2000? I haven't had that. They give me the extra security. I asked them to do that when I couldn't find my ID to come to the bank. I mean, they knew I wasn't ready. Dude, I lost all faith in TSA. Marcus Voon several times with the Costco ID. That's what Arizona we show up and I'm like at the pool in the Airbnb and I've reached my porch with pocket and put on a gram of cocaine. I'm like,
Starting point is 00:32:39 oh, this was in there. I said, like, I Oh, fuck. Hold on, let's tell the story. Yeah. So he takes forever to catch a, he was going to miss the plane because they're out and what the fuck, they're scanning them. They go through everything a piece of his luggage. We get to there being, being Phoenix. Mark's being a, you know, crazy ass and he's doing cartwheels by the pool and he does a cartwheel in this bag of cocaine falls out.
Starting point is 00:33:01 I go, whoa, no. And Mark goes, crazy ass goes, ooh, go. He picks it up. He picks up falls I go whoa no Mark Crayzes goes ooh oh it's a fuck he picks up and I go and he's like oh I forgot it I got this in Mexico like years ago
Starting point is 00:33:12 I've been looking for this years and then I go cool cool bro you realize TSA went through every piece of your luggage and then find any of this shit he's like yeah so we had a deal before we flew back. Yeah, it was still good.
Starting point is 00:33:28 It was. You don't like my dreams, it doesn't look the same. I know that was a long time ago, but Elvis used to show up to the airports with no identification. Be like, I'm Elvis. Yeah. And they would go, hey. That's fair point.
Starting point is 00:33:39 Good point, so. That's very famous. No, you know, Elvis. You know, to this day, Queen Elizabeth don't have a passport. She travels all around the world without any ID Queen Elizabeth makes sense yeah, we trust it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's fine. Yeah, that's pretty good Listen, have y'all seen the Elvis movie yet. Yeah, wait which one oh the new one I want to see it Sunday. I want I'd yeah, I read the whole theater. I was in Nixon. I went to Graceland
Starting point is 00:34:03 I played Graceland recently. They had to have a concert venue there. And they took me on a private tour after hours at night of Elvis's Graceland. And I'd never been, even be a propitonist. You've been? No. I'm not the, I like history and especially how big Elvis was. Elvis, if there's a book that his manager wrote before he passed away, and you realize that
Starting point is 00:34:23 this manager completely fucked Elvis's career. You were so selfish, made horrible decisions, wouldn't let Elvis travel to do like huge international tours because he didn't have a passport. So he turned it down and forced him to do Vegas and he knew like Elvis didn't do well if he was in the same spot all the time. So he forced him to do Vegas and that's when Elvis started doing drugs and all the shit, because he hated being a Vegas all the time. The guy really, oh, it's a dark, dark story. That's horror.
Starting point is 00:34:51 And it's in him, but this dude wrote his book about himself? Yeah. Geez, dude, if you try to explain it to him, I'm obviously not gonna talk about them. Yeah, that's not possible. The movie Elvis and Nixon. No. There's a movie about Elvis.
Starting point is 00:35:02 He wanted to be able to fly with a firearm, because he's like a gun nut. And so he's like, well, the only way he can fly is if you become a marshal or whatever. So he's like, well, who can make me a marshal? Will you go to all this school? You can go to all this shit? Or you can just, the president is another way he, if he tells you. And he's well, I'm so famous, I'll just meet with the president.
Starting point is 00:35:18 But it's before cell phone, so he just went, bought in a hotel room, buy the white house, rolled up the white, I said, I'm, I'm Elvis, I'm here to meet the president and they're like, well, you gotta have an appointment. He goes, all right, well, just here's my number and the hotel room I'll be at, like, to have the president call. And he just sat by the phone for days, drunk. And Elvis, or the time Nixon's like,
Starting point is 00:35:38 I'm not meeting that punk ass guy that shakes his wiener around, like, I'm a real pro. I don't, he didn't like celebrities and stuff, but his interns were like, it might be good good you're up for a reelection and like Photo with him help and he was like nah, I don't want to do it and then they've as he goes alright five minutes I'll give him five minutes after weeks of our week of them trying to come in some it's all in the movie They he shows up in a cape Dressed like a jackass, you know, to meet Nixon who already hates him.
Starting point is 00:36:05 He's dressed like evil, but evil. Elvis is so charming that the meeting turned into like an hour long meeting. And Elvis convinced Nixon that like the Beatles were these like hippie ass punks that were coming to infiltrate America and steal all their girls and not be like America. And Nixon was like, yeah, yeah, you're right.
Starting point is 00:36:25 And so, and he also did the cot to form. He did like this karate thing for Nixon. Like he's a psycho. And it became friends with, well, I saw a great psycho. And so then, Elvis, Nixon made Elvis a Marshall. Just so that when he- I could fly with guns. I could.
Starting point is 00:36:41 Are you a big Elvis fan? Well, of course, I love a lot of his music, but I Just didn't read I admittedly I didn't realize how big he was man until I went to grace I mean I knew he's big. He's Elvis. I get it But it's like I know the business now, so I'm like walking through and they're like a sold 50 million records in this record. I'm like 50 fucking million old CDs. Yeah, I'm like 50 fucking million CDs. You know what I mean? Yeah. I'm like, what the fuck, dude, it was, he was Michael Jackson.
Starting point is 00:37:10 Oh, yeah. Before Michael Jackson. I mean, my mom gave me all of her Elvis records. And that's how it was. And that's how it was. I'm like, how does one guy have hundreds of records? All he did, dude. But like, oh, like hundreds.
Starting point is 00:37:21 That's us. No, it's insane. When you look at, tell me, are you as martial thing? He was like giving a share of spads and like every city in America. They haven't hung up and like his pretty, like his wardrobe case, like his trophy case. Yeah, he's such a savage.
Starting point is 00:37:34 I'd love to see that movie. Yeah, dude, we're going to see it. The whole family's gone, we're fucking stuff. Did you see the James Brown movie? Get on up. Yeah. Yes, fuck you. I love that because he changed the game
Starting point is 00:37:43 really for entertainers who do lives stuff. Because he was the one like, hold up. Why didn't he a promoter? Yeah, one on I just didn't get any beach. I've held out of a bunch of women. One hundred percent. Oh, yeah, beat a lot of ladies up. That part's not in the movie.
Starting point is 00:37:57 Oh, it's not. He slapped me around. I just don't know. I just don't know. I see that Elma's partied. When I'm going through Graceland, I'm like, all right, so where did he shoot hair when that? They were like, excuse me, Mr. Presley would have never done those kind of drugs.
Starting point is 00:38:08 I was like, what the fuck? I was like, didn't he die on the shitter with a needle in his arm? They're like, this is all lies. I was like, he's not a like your personal story. You know, this is the lady giving me the Graceland, two hours like, no, lady, listen. They not bring me here to tell me
Starting point is 00:38:22 they wasn't slorton cocaine off of fucking ass holes in the jungle. I came to hear that. they wasn't snorting cocaine off a fucking ass holes in the jungle He was I came to hear that he was a wild boy with a hearty was a while this but really it's also like when you go to Dallas And they have the Jeff Kate like assassination toy. Yeah, Mark was with me. I think yeah my brother's Fourth worth right? Yeah, no, it's in Dallas. It's in the heart down Okay, so you got shot from the library there, but there's a guy giving a toy, hey real quick, where's like the real toy? This is a, no, it's not, dude.
Starting point is 00:38:50 The hard reels, we'll didn't do this. The guy did, and I went through, because I gave my black button, and fucking Jeff, can I'm like, no, I'll do, and I went through all, he's like, I don't know what you're talking about, but that's not what we do, you have a dumb day. No, I get that, but where can I find that?
Starting point is 00:39:03 Yeah, like where's that guy? Yeah, where's the real, he's out here taking my money, so. So where but where can I find that? Yeah, like where's that guy? Yeah, we're still here. He's out here taking my money. So where's the real real dude? Is this a narrative you're pushing? I'm not buying. What was the actual building the sniper was in? No, you sold it.
Starting point is 00:39:14 Yeah, that one. Have you guys been to Paisley Park? Oh, it's where Prince was in Minnesota. No. Or Minneapolis. I'm not the biggest Prince fan. Oh, I don't know this. I didn't know anything about Prince.
Starting point is 00:39:23 So I go to Paisley Park, it's like a Costco. It's like this big warehouse, right? And they walk you through this, do basically live there. Like, maybe like if you lived here and all you did was just make podcasts and write jokes and you never saw your family and they hated you. No. Okay.
Starting point is 00:39:36 So anyway, find a word out here. So every night people go to Paisley Park and just buy ticket, drink beer, and if he wasn't, if he didn't come out and perform, they'd be like, well, we tried. We had beers at Paisley Park and just buy ticket, drink beer, and if he wasn't, if he didn't come out and perform, they'd be like, well, we tried, we had beers at Paisley Park. So he always had an audience. There was always an audience if he wanted to come out and play piano. He did.
Starting point is 00:39:54 It was amazing. But the reason I'm bringing up is because I took the tour because I know nothing. I know nothing about parents. So I'm taking the tour. It's like me and a bunch of fat, like Minnesota tourists, you know, around their neck like sweet nice people Midwest I go head to backtrack. I fat shame Like fucking fat people look like very nice Innocent beauty's on the inside So I mean they were a bad shame or my face. They're innocent, you know, they're innocent beauties on the inside. It's all good.
Starting point is 00:40:26 Yeah, yeah. No, so I'm a little bit so far. As far as you're healthy. As long as you're happy inside. They're like innocent eared people as why I was saying. Yeah. And I'm like a loose slip fucking drunk comedian. For sure, yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:37 So I'm on the tour, I'm on the tour of the couple of the comics and we get to the part of the tour where Prince is making out with a chick in this movie. That one of his movies that he was in. And I, I said to the tour guide, I say, oh man, oh Prince was into like, chicks, and they all gasped like, oh, of course, that's what remind me of, they're like, of course Prince was into, oh, oh, of course Prince,
Starting point is 00:41:00 I'm not crazy for assuming this dude's sweet like Mary. That's what I think. That's my thing. He's wearing glitter on his, you know, this big's got high heels and I'm crazy for like a gay guy. What he said about the heels is the most gangster shit on earth. They asked him with prints.
Starting point is 00:41:16 This is a print quote because I fuck with prints. He said, and I fuck with this. He said, why do you wear heels? Is it to make you look taller? He looked at that dude and said, women like heels. I was like, fucking swing that dick, you know that? Swing that dick, you know that, man. But also.
Starting point is 00:41:32 No, no. No, he's like, he would have. I might have been the straightest dude in the world that fucked the hottest woman in the world. But don't think I'm crazy if I know nothing about him for thinking that's a gay dude. Yeah, first of all. Who's in crush, purple, velvet, all the time?
Starting point is 00:41:45 All the time, with crazy hair, that all the stuff's in. That's scary on his shirt. I don't know anything about him, I go, that's a gay guy. Yeah, it's a gay guy. But he was like a savant as far as music goes. Like, they had a, they were telling the story on Saturday Night Live, they put him on there.
Starting point is 00:42:01 It was like Paul McCartney just, and there was like, it was superstars in the music business. They wanted him to do it. And he was like, yeah, I'll do it. And then they were gonna get, there was someone with Paul McCartney and some of these other big names wanted him to do some like less time.
Starting point is 00:42:15 And he was like, no, that's not what I do. And they're like, no, that's the plan because Paul McCartney wants it like this and here's how it's gonna go. And he went, okay, I'll do that. And then goes. I was like, oh, and it was how it's gonna go and he went okay I'll do that and then goes and it was like oh and it was new it was live and they said he ripped off like the hardest like guitar solo ever and like Paul McCartney everyone was like holy fuck and he walked off like yeah bitches yeah that's savage when I was
Starting point is 00:42:39 shining about love that yeah no he was a fucking lunatic but he was fucking dope I went to I think it's called first Avenue. It was like the spot where they shot Purple Rain out. We played a show there one time, but anytime you go to Minneapolis, it's just fucking Prince field. It's all Prince, yeah. One thing is crazy is I hit a buddy,
Starting point is 00:42:54 and I don't have a reliable this is. So what I'm saying might not be even true, but I was told that there was this guy in LA, he used to work for Prince, and he was all about his legacy. So he wants all this shit to come out after he's dead. So like five years from now, they released like this Prince thing that nobody's ever seen.
Starting point is 00:43:10 He's a man. He's a man. Yeah, there's all this, like, 1500s, all this all bank. It's all banked or whatever. But he goes, but the part part about working for Prince has got so much money and he's so powerful and he's such this like, Prince, you know.
Starting point is 00:43:23 Then he would just go, I need a draft by tomorrow. And you're like, I don't know how much money in the world it takes, even if I have all the money, how do you get a draft by tomorrow, like in Minneapolis, but that's he would just make them go figure it out cause he's shooting all this crazy shit. Yeah, he's like fucking figure it out. He was always making movies, I need a rhino.
Starting point is 00:43:39 And they go, I don't know how to get a rhino. Where do you begin? He's got a dope legacy though. I respawned. Now, the best way for the sleeping stuff too? Yeah, it was somewhere. It was like the Michael Jackson's. I don't remember. I think it was a fentanyl.
Starting point is 00:43:51 Yeah. Oh, that's right. He didn't know before. It was popular. He's in good company. You know what I hate about fentanyl is the go, oh, he overdosed on drugs. No, no, he was poisoned.
Starting point is 00:44:01 Yeah, for sure. Because his plan was, maybe he was doing the party. Yeah, if you took a Viking or you took whatever, a oxy, you know how to control it. He can do that. He was poisoned. Correct.
Starting point is 00:44:12 Like, like, Mac Miller was poisoned. Yeah, sure. I don't know why it's the key, and it's really like, you know, like, I was in shots and you know, whatever. Yeah, and then if someone put Fetna on this, I pass away by counting his liver. Yeah, it's like, he died of alcohol.
Starting point is 00:44:23 Oh, it's, it's one fucking, I feel like I could beat it, you know? Yeah. Yeah. I don't think I can die. Yeah, fentanyl is the thing. No, I can't. No, I can't. No, I can't.
Starting point is 00:44:34 No, I can't. No, I can't. It's like, you know, if I die of a cocaine overdose, that'd be awesome. No, I can't. No, I can't. No, I can't. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:44:42 It's like, you know, also really hard to die from just cocaine. Like, uppers, it's like, you know what? I've done a lot of it. I've done a lot, I believe. lot of done a lot of why believe you believe that from a husky Brian so Brian Obviously the co-hosts, fine kid. He was saying like once you reach your 40 or around 40 He saw a lot of his friends or a lot of people dying after cocaine because their heart can't handle it anymore really Yeah, so that's why it's dangerous. I've got a few years left. Yeah, yeah, I know. Yeah, yeah, I know. And I'm not putting on. You put your turbo Dan drift in there that fucks the heart. Well, it's also like let's let's talk about cocaine for that. That's why I get the worst cocaine ever.
Starting point is 00:45:17 Yeah, I know. The fucking rainbow. You did the worst cocaine ever. It would know we got the one dude. It's just you know when it's just not it. I know I don't I'm not smell it. Oh, we got the one dude. It's just you know when it's just not it. I know I don't. I've never done smell it. Oh, you're missing out. The public's like. You know, like you can't teach him this. No, dude, I don't like cocaine. I like the way it smells. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:33 Oh, man. You do not smell it. I don't know. I try. My crew carries test kits. Oh, I don't know why more people don't. I mean, great. I'm doing drugs.
Starting point is 00:45:42 Who's the nerd who's like, hold on. I love you, man. We got a bus full of them that are like, yo, and I'm not great, great, great, great. Yeah, who's the nerd who's like, hold on, everybody. We got a bus full of them that are like, yo, and I'm not like, you know, I mean, my thing about drugs are our party when it's like, you know, it's like a party. If there's something to celebrate. Yeah, it's like if we're party, yeah, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, yeah, it's like if there's like, you know, I'm not like, hey, we're you know, I think the dogs got a shit. I think the dogs dying. Yeah, no, he's been dying. Yeah, that dog is
Starting point is 00:46:08 All the other thing. I think there's nothing he's got a poop. So he was some cocaine. Yeah, um, yeah, yeah, it's like I woke up. I'm up. I love his grapes. It was totally bad. But the day of doing cocaine with a stranger, the bathroom's over. Yeah, no more. No more. There was a time in life, you remember this, I'm sure. Yeah, I mean, you could just bump it to a stranger in a bathroom at a bar and he'd be like, you wanna do some blow and you'd be like, I fucking would love to do some blow. Cause that's the unexpected blow. Right, you can buy a bag, you plan on doing three.
Starting point is 00:46:38 I was in Vegas with an Australian agent one time and he had like a grocery bag full of it. Yeah, this is a memory that I have. Where it's like, yeah, this guy I've never met before you. My friends come in over, you gotta kind of give a heads up. But I'm legit for most of you. I've never had any desires. I'm not a rose back, for sure.
Starting point is 00:46:52 For sure. So last week, I've never done Coke either. And last week, there's this guy that always gives all my friends Coke in Los Angeles. And so I know him and he says, great guys, cool guy. And so he wants me if he's just giving it away. He's super nice and rich and like, he's kind of a scoundrel
Starting point is 00:47:05 Like it's like a fun mischievous guy like and so anyways. I see him with his bar And I haven't seen him for you know a long time. I go what's up, buddy? He goes, hey man. Are you been as comedy and then I I'm walking past him coming out of the bathroom and you say you want some coke and I was like Oh, and then I'm I go nah nah nah and then I go Look I'm with a group of friends and I've oh, and then I go, nah, nah, nah. And then I go, look, I'm with a group of friends. And I've never done it. I go, well, what's the least amount I can do? Like, what's something I can just try? And he goes, have you never done Coke?
Starting point is 00:47:35 And I go, no, he goes, get the fuck out of here. Like, you wouldn't. Well, what a wholesome guy. That's a good guy. Yeah, I was the polar opposite. I'd be like, this is tonight's tonight. Tonight's tonight. It's like, this is it. I'm doing it. I don't do it much. We should do it together
Starting point is 00:47:50 I mean, I was so like I walked back on that. He might have done a really nice thing back there I don't but I don't know how coke works, but I would assume you didn't want to invite me and mark to a coke party with these No, listen, you have a tiny Yeah, the stories I've heard of Mark I wouldn't want him to my coke Unless unless he was bringing the coke. It's like only if he's bringing if he's the midget with the bag Anybody who references a cup my cocaine story was real seems like yeah, I see this change with a bathroom He gave me a bump. He's like a midget from all straights Yeah, but it grossed that's one of many of you like what the fuck kind of cocaine party
Starting point is 00:48:24 I say marks the animal from them up it babies The coke monster man, yeah, you see animal you think you want to make your party Yeah, and then when you have animal your party But cocaine's out of drug that you like stop, you know, yeah, I've had enough for tonight. Yeah, for sure Oh really you know, you're just gonna be like, I've had enough for tonight. Yeah, for sure. Oh really? You're just gonna probably be doing it. You never have any leftovers. Yeah. It's not the drug unless you for the sake of.
Starting point is 00:48:50 I got it with somewhere. You don't wake up like, I'm glad we only did an eight ball in that quarter. We got a whole eight ball for today. Yeah, this is our week. That's why I don't do it. Sell, it's got to be like, you know, like, I use to have a song called California.
Starting point is 00:49:03 I only do cocaine in California. Yeah. So like, it's got to be that kind you know, like we're, I used to have a song called California, I only do cocaine in California. Yeah. So it's got to be that kind of thing for me. Yeah. You know, it's got to be like a New York City strip club, like one of those pop-up strip clubs and a bar. Yeah. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:49:14 Not even like a real strip club, where they sit one up for the night somewhere and you're like, you end up at it completely by accident and then somebody's like, I got some coke. You're like, I never plan on doing coke. Like I plan on doing acid, I plan on doing shrooms. Cokane is one thing I refuse to plan on.
Starting point is 00:49:29 And I turn it down 80 out of 81 times. And that's one time I feel cry. The crowd, you might run into it, right? One out of the question, like, but still, I'll turn it down more often than no. I'm like, yeah, I'm like, I'm like, fucking gotta write songs tomorrow. Bro, I didn't see cocaine, a little bit, I'm pussy.
Starting point is 00:49:46 I didn't know people on cocaine, so I started doing comedy. I'd be in a group. Right. Wait, why is everybody in the bathroom? I'm not like, I even, I'm like, oh, everybody has allergies? I have allergies.
Starting point is 00:49:57 I'm not even like that. I get from like a big part of my life because I grew up like church kid and she, like alcohol was like, bro, I'm crazy, I'm a drunk, you know? But a guy could come up to me and he'd act real strange and then leave and I'd be like, that guy's weird.
Starting point is 00:50:10 And like, do you think I was blown out of his brains? But I don't know how to identify it. I don't know either. Brian has to do that. Oh no, for sure. I tell you, I see it in your jaw, your eyes. I see it in your eyes. I'm in the teeth.
Starting point is 00:50:19 I'm in two seconds. Even though I grind, you just kind of see it. Like you just see a twitch every now and then. Do they kinda hit that real quick Or just like okay, or they'll lick their teeth You know With licks and business plans right? Sure. Yeah, you are like a little eye twitch a little, you know Just pupils will tell you if they're really on blow
Starting point is 00:50:39 They're like I know I'll see a dilation and I twitch in a business plan I know I'll see a dilation and I twitch in a business plan Get really excited big ideas. Yeah, for sure big ideas fast talking and I can see a submarine you go dude if you're scratching your nose you're either on cocaine or a lore tab For show You know like a hundred percent if I keep saying you hit that number there I'm like what's up man you doing blow or fucking damn mark does a bunch of coke like did you mean it only fans or fucking day mark does a bunch of coke is that did you mean it only fans what do you think you mean that's right you're saying you do LSD right because that's one that like you do and I'm kind of like I'm good for a
Starting point is 00:51:10 while yeah no I only do it like every drug I talk about talk about like I do it all the time this is extremely rare for me yeah but even LSD I'll do it like once or twice a year and I go for it though yeah like I when I trip I trip like I'm not I'm not here to play with it like we're doing three four hits and we're fucking going And I feel like you're meeting some demon. Oh, dude. Yeah, so I'm having the best night ever normally. I'm just having a great night That's fun. Yeah, you have that trip though. I've learned that what I've learned I asked it's different Shrooms you can kind of level your trip out anyways. I love sure right. It's like I could take turns And if it starts getting weird I can be like recenter myself on the earth
Starting point is 00:51:44 Like I'm at a party and shit gets weird, I'm like, get into the environment. Go outside, stay in the grass, barefooted for a minute, you'll get your shit back together. Assed sometimes, you don't know what's happening. That's what I love about it. I love the crap shoot of drugs, right? When you're just like, all right, y'all, I put six hits ass in this bottle of water. We're all gonna take ships until the water's gone, and then we're just, we're gonna figure out what happens. We're just gonna lose our shit together. We are no longer in control of the night.
Starting point is 00:52:09 Six dudes? Well, let me tell you one thing about Asa, like, I got tripped out of my trouble. I'm telling you to do it. Yeah, no, no, let's, before we all fuck each other. No, the last thing you wanna do on LSD is pull your becker out.
Starting point is 00:52:24 Really? Yeah, for sure sure you have a whole like Of different understanding of that anyways like anytime I've been around a girl and I started tripping acid I would look at them unnecessarily and be like I'm not fucking you tonight. I feel like that was mushrooms I'm sure that I'm right now. I have like no like but doesn't coke to give you Olympic But you want to I feel connected to life in the universe. I'm being awesome actually. You should really cry. I'm saying, go, you're like horny,
Starting point is 00:52:51 but you're just going to blow it up. Yes. For the past. That sounds like torture. Yeah, just disappointing a woman. That's the opposite of Molly. Where you're like horny and the wind blows, you're like, hello, little fella.
Starting point is 00:53:03 Yeah, hello, here we go. Calm get down we're still at the bar. It's a stand that was just a gust of wind Dude I had this It's not Molly was it M.H.D. Eight M.D.A. Yes, that's still yeah, that's a XC Yeah, so it's like a real pure form. So our buddy was this really I want to say them But he's super rich dude, like super successful.
Starting point is 00:53:26 And he loved fires, the time I was fighting, me all my fire boys go over there, and he told us there's a bunch, there's gonna be a bunch of chicks and get all this food. I wouldn't do fucking, what is it? What is it? And I'm like, yeah, well let's do it man. So we get there and he's like, yeah, it's getting hot,
Starting point is 00:53:41 I'm like, yeah, turn that bitch on. And then we're taking the MDA, we're there. And like, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be,
Starting point is 00:53:52 it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be,
Starting point is 00:54:00 it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna is trying to rub your leg and promise you the world. No, he was like, Hey, man, we should wrestle. And we started wrestling, dude. And I'm like, no, no, no. And then my brother, we're on there for you because he lived like two blocks down with driving us.
Starting point is 00:54:12 Hey, that was weird, right? I go, wasn't he goes, yeah, dude, we want to touch. You started to wrestle with him. And I was like, oh, he's going to fuck us, Jesus. Yeah. And you want to touch people. Like, that's what you often, when I take it with my girl,
Starting point is 00:54:27 it's just like you kind of end up like just touching each other for hours and, you know, I don't know. So I can see why he probably is one of the fucking touches. Yeah, he's like, I don't know if I can just fight or hate. It's super, he hates it. He was like, I don't know, you're beating me. No, you're beating me.
Starting point is 00:54:42 That was really bad. He should have vited over all those female fighters. Yeah, it was the rest of the fight. I never get a jiggas. Fuck all the girls. He wanted to touch something. Yeah, I'm not gonna say that. He was a beggar on it.
Starting point is 00:54:58 He was not trying to sniff a big hot tub. Jeff, what about you? Have you done LSD? No, never. I'm actually new to mushrooms, but I do. You're like, just a regular fresh can. I've done mushrooms too. Just like, let's drink beer. Yeah, I like drinking every night.
Starting point is 00:55:11 Yeah. But I've done, I did mushrooms the last two nights in a row. Really? And I did so much the night before last, that last night I didn't even work. And I took a fistful. Oh, God. And it just didn't even affect me. It drops off. Yeah, it drops off.
Starting point is 00:55:24 You know, chemical or whatever is already drained. You sensitize to it pretty quickly. Yeah, for sure. So sucked, I sat there, I eat a ton of mushrooms and I barely felt it. But man, LSD might be able to take and get to you. Who the hell is that? I love it, man.
Starting point is 00:55:36 I'm a funer than I've ever been in my life when I'm on mushrooms. Yeah. I love it. Yeah, now it's all my thing, but mushrooms is my new thing. Hey, Mark, you're a hatsy Heisman? It Hey, hey Mark, do you have to say hysmine? It says hysmine, yeah. It's like a drug ad?
Starting point is 00:55:48 Yeah, well, it's Ricky, isn't it Ricky Williams company, hysmine? I don't know, it makes sense, so. Yeah, it's always high. These two took me, they sent me this gear and then they were like, hey, we want to send you some weed and we can't like send it to, but I just went to a dispensary.
Starting point is 00:56:01 Take it up. Yeah, do you have any money? I, yes. Yes? Years ago, yeah, Ricky wasary. Yeah, do you have any money? Yes, years ago, yeah, Ricky was awesome. Yeah, he's cool. Yeah, good dude, really good dude. He's like Michael Jackson where you can actually monitor through his career when his voice changed. He used to talk normal and now he's like,
Starting point is 00:56:17 is he the one that just took his wife's life? I don't think so. Oh, that's a different guy. Yeah, and this is Ricky Williams' brad, I just looked it up, I just wanted to make sure. Oh, what's that to his wife's life then? Yeah, I'm sorry, this is what happened, I shouldn't be so different. Yeah, and this is Ricky Williams Braddett. It's looked it up I just wanted to make sure that was that you guys wise last day. Yeah, I'm saying this is what happened I shouldn't be on pocket. No, you know Ricky. This is the Ricky that we had on all those Airy the gross science. Yeah, the go back is his Eric Miran. Maybe he did take his wife's name

Why does it say that? I don't know. Oh, I mean, here I am. Hold on, just go back to the news, actually. Go back to the news, though. Because it's on there, if you go to the news,
Starting point is 00:56:52 Rick goes, no. Yeah, no. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Listen, so I don't sound like a dumbass. Just type in football player takes wife's name or ex-football player takes wife's name. So what does that have this happened? Now Rick was a dude who was a monster
Starting point is 00:57:05 and they just dipped out. And then like, thank you for this chance. Because on the clock as he was saying, he dipped out and like went to Africa or like Brazil was just living a tent. Well, he also like, I don't know how many, I go to Brazil.
Starting point is 00:57:15 Gabe Ferrell's. Oh, I feel like a dumbass right now. I swear to God, just seeing this the other day it was like some dude was like, took his wife's name. We'll go back to his wife's name. We can't get you in a drink on a spout. No, I don't know why I thought it was like some do was like took his wife's name to go back to his way to get on a spout. I know why I thought it's Rick Williams. Google man changes his last name to wife. Yeah. Man. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:33 I think that term was last. Yeah. What do you want? I mean, I didn't know you were fucking, you know, I didn't know you're George Jung from below. I would have had some fucking devil's day. He made some sort of deal Fucking new. This is dope man. He made some sort of deal When a man takes his Way was like a real famous football player

I mean, just go to Ricky Williams with Wikipedia. Oh, it's written here. There you go. There you go. There you go. Yeah, fold that down.
Starting point is 00:58:36 And I'll go through here. And I'll go through here. Eric Marin, that's the surname of his spouse. We saw the early end. So I guess it's a reverting to his wife. I was trying to click on his spouse's name to see if it match Yeah, oh nice. So he's
Starting point is 00:58:47 I knew you brought him up. I was like, you know, I know I'm not tripping here. Yeah, you know how much weed you got to smoke to sit there one day and be like, yo bitch Let's go back down like Some shit out. It's fucking I'll be a myer and I think your family's cool. I like it. I'm fucking mom Do you mind? My girl like absolutely not. Oh, for I was like, I want to change my name Yeah, probably because you cheated on so much. He's like, I gotta get a gift absolutely not. Oh, for a while. I was like, I'm gonna change my name. There's probably because you cheated on her so much, she's like, all right, I gotta give her one. Oh, and you cheat a lot.
Starting point is 00:59:10 She used to, right? Yeah, my mind is pretty public. Yeah. I had a baby with a couple of them. Yeah. Jackson calls for speculation. I'd do it. Yeah, because you got this, I gotta give her some,
Starting point is 00:59:19 that might be the mood. Yeah, go ahead. How about, I wanna dig your name, I'm sure I've changed. The more I do, the more I'm not Not bad, not a Kobe changing on his wife. Kobe changing on his wife, allegedly raped. And then he goes, how about I change my number? Yeah, how about I go, eight to 25? I'm not raping anymore, I'm 24.
Starting point is 00:59:37 That was all eight. Yeah, yeah. Stop dead numbering me. Yeah, yeah, really is all good. What do you talk about the old Ricky? Like you think his wife is gone well he changed his number yeah what what more do you want him to do with Ricky's like you're talking about a little Ricky this is Aaron or what a
Starting point is 00:59:54 fun you're in now I can't believe that Ricky guys he's a real scumbag but he was he's a sweet guy in that way that like, there was something I'm gonna botch it a little bit and I'll get beat up in the comments here, but there was something where he was like, well, I don't think I should just get this contract. How about if I get this many run, this many touchdowns,
Starting point is 01:00:15 you give me this much money enough, I get this many touchdowns, I get this much money. He was such a, and then he got like injured or he did, he under-achieved. And so then he made this really small contract and everyone's like, what a fucking idiot. That's kind of honorable actually. Yeah, pretty dope.
Starting point is 01:00:28 Yeah, I mean, he made a lot of money though. He did a lot of things like that where he's just a sweet guy and like value's kindness. Well, I mean, if he sent Mark fucking weed hats, I think that's awesome. Yeah, I don't get a problem. No, they sent me some clothes and then hooked me up with a bunch of weed.
Starting point is 01:00:42 So, you know, you're a fun big weed guy though, right? No, but I like to have it around like once a month of weed. So, you know. Yeah, a big weed guy though, right? No, but I like to have it around like once a month or so. He likes free stuff. Yeah, that is true. Like I have a, you know, anybody who reaches out, it's like, yeah, I think it's a way better when they're free. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:00:57 Yeah, agree. So, so, so, Jellie, going back to your music, signing with this, this big record company. Obviously Jimmy Kim was a big deal Yes, sir and then number one on rock radio. Yeah, we had a number one on rock radio for two weeks in second We're still on the top 10 where the second most played song on rock radio this year Jesus grace of every rock star. I came out this year. Do you give credit to the 100% because I knew that that was out of my realm of like, you know Fucking right, you know the way I was working was independent like you like what was I gonna do like email
Starting point is 01:01:31 Fucking Jimmy Kim will like hey, I think He really asked me if you let me come do it one day. Yeah, they tell you know I've been there When you say independent said it does that mean you don't have a manager agent or just like we still have a team Yeah, but the team could reach out to Jimmy Kimmel say this guy's the best. Yeah, but if you're not they scratch each other's back They're not gonna let a guy on who's not in the system. Yeah, because in comedy it's like You just submit and they go he's good enough Yes, and no right like if you're just like a guy that nobody like you have no like steam behind you They're not gonna book just a label system with coming.
Starting point is 01:02:06 It's way more political music. Cause one, you don't have to clear jokes. Right, I want you to think about this like, you have to clear it as in like it was your material. With clear doesn't it's appropriate or whatever. Exactly, but no, I'm in like, we got a clear like, the dude who played the fiddle on the song that you played on Saturday night live,
Starting point is 01:02:24 had to sign off that that artist could perform that song on that night. Oh, interesting. So you break that down into fucking 12 people that have a hand in a song, just all the hurdles that come with music licensing it. Like y'all are one autograph sign off. You're like, yo, I'm not gonna say anything dirty
Starting point is 01:02:42 and I wrote this and I'll sign a sheet of paper. Promise I won't say the end word. Catch, you're in. say anything dirty and I wrote this. And I'll sign a sheet of paper. Promise I will say the N word. Catch your end. You know, we're for us. It's like, okay, who owns the publishing on this? Who owns the master recording on this? What label has a piece of this? Yeah, it's so hard to clear.
Starting point is 01:02:56 Mike Still was on bus and with the boys, shout out to the boys, friends of ours. Of course, I'm on the side of this. Mike Still was on bus and with the boys and he was talking about a record he asked what post Malone. I'm a post, you're really good for this a big time, yes. Mike Stil was on bus with the boys and he was talking about a record he asked with Post Malone. And with Post, you're really good for this. Very close, yes.
Starting point is 01:03:07 And it's like, you know, he would have to play ball with the major label to get the record released. And it would ultimately, he'll get the record released. But it's all the way to take Post Malone calling the label himself and going, I wanna do this and if you don't do this, I'm gonna be upset. And post that power.
Starting point is 01:03:23 He does because of who he is. Correct. And with the record And most of that power. He does because of who he is. Correct. And what the record sells and all that shit. For sure. But even then, the label's gonna be hard to say, well, he can only release it between these two projects and whatever. So it really turns into like a hula hoop of a job.
Starting point is 01:03:37 Well, I guess the question is, it's for comics, podcasts, and musicians. It's like, is the juice worth the squeeze? You know what I'm saying? Like, what's juice worth the squeeze? You know what I'm saying? Like, what's your end goal, Jelly? You know what I'm saying? My goal seems to work out for it. Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 01:03:49 My goal was always, I think my music's cathartic. I think my music's therapeutic, and I make music with the intentions of it helping people. That's my goal. So I need ears on it. I've already made good money. I'm already blessed.
Starting point is 01:04:01 I'm already in a great place. Now it's like, how can we legacy, right? What can I do to touch more people? How can I bring people that need to hear this message to this message? Yes. In a broader spectrum audience, right? And that's where the label is. So it's like, country music radio audience, as an example, is like 40 million people if
Starting point is 01:04:22 you're in the top five. Like it's still that big of a deal to be on country rating. Oh bro, look what the, look what, look what, you know, what different Morgan Wallet? For sure, actually I can't, I mean, what's your music? No, fans, right? Hold up.
Starting point is 01:04:35 Country music fans are the best fans on earth. They're the best fans on earth. So it's like rock radio still touches X amount of millions of people. It's like you have such a reach through radio and then popular Like pop culture like it's still the look of having the chance to do Kimmel And what you hope is ultimately is something like Saturday night live Which is still extremely relevant, right?
Starting point is 01:04:56 That's like the Krim Della Krim for an artist if you play Saturday night live more importantly you can host Saturday night live That's like a really big deal. And you also hope that people find out you're good dude, you make relationships in the background. Like, MGK's a great example of a dude who ended up doing movies with it and he's really good at that. That dude really took that shit from being like
Starting point is 01:05:17 an underground white boy rapper to like fucking co-headlining Bonnaroo the other day. Yeah, he's another level. Yeah, he's literally dating. Yeah, he's doing Literally dating and saying the documentary's nuts. He's dating one of the most famous women on earth Usa man. Yeah his producers dating his best friend Travis is dating one of the other most famous women on earth His other best friend Pete Davidson is dating the most famous woman on earth Yeah, it's like those do and those dudes are, they're all shout out to all of them, they're all friends of mine.
Starting point is 01:05:46 They're all fucking regular dudes who just worked their craft, figured it out, found a way in the pop culture in their own way, and went forward. So my thing was like, how can I get this message to people? Like I think save me could help people come off drugs. I think save me could help people deal with the loss of a loved one. Don't play it for me then. Yeah, for sure. You're not on drugs. You out of
Starting point is 01:06:08 the hall. My goal is to turn you into a co-cad. And I'm going to work vigorously. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm taking it out. You ever get some not that it matters. I mean, everyone deals with it. Rogan dealt with this. Wendy the Spotify deal. You know, I'm sure other artists deal with it. Mike Stead signed with a record company, people that you hear this from, people that blow up all the time. Oh, you sold out. You know, luckily, I haven't,
Starting point is 01:06:30 I mean, I'm sure it's there, but I haven't heard it. So it's like, I'm sure it's gonna come, and I'm fine with that. It's like, listen, my thing about the word selling out is, I've never seen it used, except for when people call you that in a bad way, in a bad way. What do you mean? Like, think about the terms selling out like Tell me where that's bad
Starting point is 01:06:54 And let's sure the guy trying to buy the M&M's that are sold out of the store Right it's like What I'm selling out like oh my god you came so popular some huge brand paid you million dollars for your talent. With all this here, you've changed. Right. Yeah, no shit. Yeah, but the answer was no shit. My favorite line from Nelly was, they said, Nelly, you sell out your damn right.
Starting point is 01:07:14 I just sold out before and came back the same night. It's like, you know, if you tell me my show is sold out, it's the best news you can call me with. The single best news you can get on Earth is, hey, sold out show one, putting up two now. Nothing better. Sold out show two, now to do a Saturday. You're like, fuck yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:34 People's like, when you use this term of like, you're selling out, it's like, God, I hope so. I hope I can do. And he came in, Merchus said mainstream sellout. Like he leaned into it. Here's a song called mainstream sellout. For sure. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:47 No, she didn't compromise. I guess we'll be the like the main thing that people, like it is my accusation. You change them out, but if you don't do that, then you're just making money out of me. My poor message is the same. I'm not making music to be commercially viable. I sung son of a sinner on Jimmy Kimmel today.
Starting point is 01:08:02 Like it is a fucking heart-wrenching real song about the duality of life. The third verse says, my pop appeal is smoke and maybe drink. I talked to God and tell him what I think. The verse is gonna hate me, but eventually has saved me. Right. We're talking about like, I, that's the song I sung on Kimmel. Like I wasn't on there, you know, pop it for me, baby, pop it for me, baby, you know what I'm saying? I stayed true to my core message of who I wanna touch.
Starting point is 01:08:32 Like as long as I don't compromise that, I think I'm okay. You know what, but I think it's this thing where it's like if like people say this against Blink when they do all the time. Travis barked when I closed Love Travis. And he's actually in the house right now, hopefully he's okay. But Blink went into blue the fuck up. But there was like this small demo in Orange County,
Starting point is 01:08:53 whatever, where they think they discovered him. As they get bigger, they get jealous. So it's like, he got sold out. And like, just envy. Like Green Day. People love our music. What do you want us to do? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:03 Yeah. I think I'm blessed that Jelly Roll fans, and this, listen, I bet, I bet money was citizen of comment. I think I'm blessed that Jelly Roll fans feel more like they're right to feel this way. They are responsible for it. They're proud of you. Yeah, so instead of feeling like fuck man dude, I got big on us. I remember when you was a nobody, they're like yeah motherfucker, we better write horse
Starting point is 01:09:23 down. We knew you had us, you haven't let us down A pre-shared like you're come up one I remember that dude was doing this. Yeah, for sure. It's like to me I think me being on national television singing a song is like for an entire culture It's a voice of the voiceless. Yeah, there's an entire unspoken audience of people who are like our dude Yeah, it's on Jimmy Kimmel. They might not agree with the station,
Starting point is 01:09:48 they might not agree with the politics, they might not agree with the monologue, they might not agree with all the shit that comes with being on this television, right? But there's a moment where they're like, I don't care, that's our dude saying our message. You know what I'm saying? That's our dude speaking for us like fuck that's hard guy
Starting point is 01:10:05 Yeah, they should celebrate that now after you got done singing did Jimmy go now can't put your mask back on Yeah I'll be honest. I was the only person in there all day They never said nothing about a mask good. They made my brother put his mask on at one point, but they never That's that first class treatment. Yeah, for sure I don't know is because I was the artist there today or because I just walked around like the kind of guy that you might not want to walk up there. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:29 Well, I played a massive top football game with you in Nashville. And it was funny because in Nashville, I rolled up. I'm with Terry Bradshaw. And we're going to do this all day. We were there stating like, super early. You, when you showed up, there was like this like happening. The other way around was coming.
Starting point is 01:10:44 Jolly. And like everybody was talking to my house like, I'm like this happening. Jelly Rolls coming. Jelly Rolls coming. And like everybody was talking about how like, I'm like, I'm with Terry Bradshaw. I'm like, you know, like Jelly Rolls, I haven't met Jelly Rolls coming. Like, there was like a whole. I sent your YouTube to somebody. You have over two million subscribers,
Starting point is 01:10:58 and people don't conceptualize how difficult that is to build YouTube with two followers. Some of you have, I mean, some of the views on there nothing. Yeah over 100. Manally, you know, it's insane No, it's still it's it's unreal. It's like but think about what you're doing so fucking dope think about your boy Tom McDonald Yes, for sure you want to talk about independent You know that we talked about Yeah, he's really impressed. It's literally all independent. He'll miss girlfriend What he is so independent.
Starting point is 01:11:25 It's a video. He's so independent. It's scary. Yes. I call him sometimes like, I fucking hate you. I get lost. No, he's so. I'm like, Teddy, because Teddy's so good.
Starting point is 01:11:33 I'm like, Teddy, I love you. But fuck you. Tom is so independent. I was like, I want to support this guy. I want to just merge. I was like, this is way too intense. Yeah. You have anything else, my baby.
Starting point is 01:11:41 I'm bringing back people all the way back. I fucking ate that guy. I'm like, you should be taking notes though. For sure. No, he could be singing the worst music in the world. I don't give a fuck. A, he's super talented, but B, it's just, I appreciate the hustle of him doing on his own, and just the way he's revamping the game. For sure.
Starting point is 01:11:53 Comics could learn from him, because they drop an album, and then they'll package it with merch. Bro, he should be on Billboard. It's the V. That's the number one selling album. They've been here last year. Yeah, they're actually like, I can tell you something. Artists could be there. They're like, I can tell you something. Artists could be there. Yeah, bro, he should be on billboard. It's the video number one selling album ever heard last year. Yeah I can tell you I tell you something artists could learn from comics right quit first of all times the homie dear
Starting point is 01:12:13 Good friend Marahoo. Charlotte. That's my boy. Yes. I love that dude is the sweetest dude on earth And he's a great songwriter like he does these political commentary stuff such a nice thing Yeah, but he's also like when you get to like the quarters He wrote a song called scars that came out two weeks ago. That I called him and I was like, you know, I thought, no, I text him, I was like, Bubba, I love that you can rap and that you like have these real wear ways
Starting point is 01:12:33 of like putting together social commentary and rhythmic form and making people think about shit. But this is a fucking song, Bubba. Like I'm like banging scars, like it just just made the playlist like it's fucking good like that Like that dude can write the mother absolute fuck you wouldn't make it if he wasn't so talented You know like he'd be canceled so fast. He was trying to be independent. No, he's not one. No, he did like a very like I don't say I would like political but like in the height of like lockdowns and like you know He talked about some touchy issues,
Starting point is 01:13:05 but it's so brilliant, whether you agree with or not, you're like, I'm gonna talk to you about this. Yeah, yeah. He can make a point, but then he'll drop a political song, and then the next song is like a song about you. You can't had it come in, or like, what is it?
Starting point is 01:13:17 What? What? Like, what do you mean? It's some sort of issue. I'm not gonna be an old-school comic, because Jeff, he's like, who can I thin? Oh, no, can I say, but Jeff's is a lot of girls. No, Jeff's the last, bro, he's all, it's some- I love the old school comic, and Jeff, he's like, who can I think? Oh no, yeah. I think, what can I say? Well, Jeff's is the old part, not her.
Starting point is 01:13:27 No, Jeff's the last, he's all, it's like hot tub time machine. It's like, he's from the 90s. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, I know, yeah. No, he's richer prior on the sunset strip. Yeah, fucking hell, he's the old school. What do you, what's your, what's your, what's your, just political music, right?
Starting point is 01:13:40 No. But he'll do something divisive, but then it'll come out. Well, just bring up his YouTube channel. And so, we'll play a song for a super personal. Yeah, so YouTube channel Yeah, he's a no the cool thing is he'd clear him we could play whatever here And I'll be like yo white list this on this fucking job podcast. Yeah, I mean he really owns a shit like that. Yeah I mean him we're texting each other such a nice guy. Yep, so it's like, you know the system. That's getting dicey for you Fake woe. Yeah, the scars ones the one I was just talking about. That one down there, there's a 9.6.
Starting point is 01:14:07 It's my best friend's struggle. Me and Struggle have been best friends for 20 years. Literally, we went to jail together, we went through it all. Him and Adam Cown, who they're all good friends of mine. These dudes are fucking. But look at that, 7.7 million views.
Starting point is 01:14:18 Oh yeah, two weeks ago, scars 3.1. I'm telling you, he sells more albums than the weekend. It's good. And he went to billboard He had the soul YouTube. He went to billboard. I was like, yo, what do I have to do to get this? They told me do all this stuff. He does all of it. And he goes, I'll give you access to all my sales Everything I can prove I've outsold the weekend and the billboards still went touch him. Really? No, it's ridiculous Or specifically, I think he was like, I don't have an issue with billboard. I have an issue with the company that audits the state, like that was specific.
Starting point is 01:14:46 That's what it is you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So we don't make a team, we can talk to you. I think it was Nilsen. Bro, so the clown world, 60 million views. The canceled one, 15 million views. No, everything he does. Fake woke, 28 million views.
Starting point is 01:15:00 He's saying, is it, is brother you agree with his content or not? No lives matter was a big one. Yeah, for not. He's really... No, Lives Matter was a big one. Yeah, for sure. He's really strategic about what he does. And all these videos, he shoots him in his living room. Yeah, really. No, they build, he'll win his girlfriend,
Starting point is 01:15:14 build sets, shout out to Nova. They build sets in their house. I'm telling you, comics should learn like his marketing and shit and the way he does it all in the Benny is nuts of it. Yeah, yeah. Let's talk about comedians to do that. Right, that are fucking, I take notes from these guys. Shoals, Fulties, you, the way you built this business, right?
Starting point is 01:15:35 While Star was Shulties, right? So Shultie fucking, I'll give you an example of what I thought was genius. When he played LA, right? And he rented the 64 hopper. Yeah. Right, just for the content footage of pulling up to the sold out theater in LA. And this fucking night, he took it to another level because his production is not like,
Starting point is 01:15:56 when he did dialysis, it's like this building, right? When I walk in his building, and I tell people it's all the time, like, especially whenever I bump into the occasional shop skeptic, I'm like, y'all don't understand how much this dude bets on himself though. He's not just talking shit, like, and even coming in here, I've seen every one of these sets individually, and I knew you'd put the time into it. But when I pull up in fucking callabases, which is a place I've been raffing about before I knew it was here, because I just knew it was fancy. Right, and I see thick boy studios on the sign. Right, and there's only two names on the sign
Starting point is 01:16:29 of a huge building, you know what I'm saying? And it's little stuff, I'm like, he just fucking does it right. You know what I mean? Like, and you walk in and you see everything at every wall and the attention to every detail you put in fucking having whiskey cubes of ice instead of regular ice. Yes, sir. The fact that you got the whiskey glasses
Starting point is 01:16:48 with the one big cute little things that I'm just like, fuck yes. Like little things that just make you go, he thought every part of this. Now, Jelly, this place is cool, right? Now, when you get to Bert House tomorrow, when you get to Bert Cratchers, New House tomorrow. So, I haven't done this podcast
Starting point is 01:17:05 I don't know three four years because the pandemic all that shit so I was promoting my special You know at my Ferrari I call Burton his last house was a little dicey North Hollywood I call my go hey man, I know I'm supposed to do the podcast tomorrow. I got I'm in my Ferrari cuz I shoot this thing Can you just open the gates? I can park in the actual thing because I don't want someone to jack my shit and he goes oh No, I moved dude trust me. You're okay. I can park in the actual thing because I don't want someone to jack my shit. And he goes, oh, no, I moved, dude. Trust me, you're okay. I go, all right, something to my address. Something to my address, I was like,
Starting point is 01:17:30 all right, whatever, I trust, Bert. You can get through tomorrow. And you're like, oh, there are levels to this. Yo, fuck yeah. I don't think people realize how big Bert is. Like I'll have even comics. Even Brian is Bert, so let's take it to go. Oh, blah blah. No, there's some Dude
Starting point is 01:17:46 No, dude he off his the machine bit that bit that he didn't want to put out that Rogan talked him into that bit Has like I don't know 400 million views. Oh dude Universal shot a feature film yeah, well during the pandemic thousands of people were willing to watch him from their cars that like dry I mean that's probably so let me tell you all stuff to do God is blessed me that we do really well on tour Bert Christchurch is playing just got to playing the same AAA baseball fields minor league baseball stadiums and amphitheaters that I'm playing this year and Selling them out in hours. I'm talking about 10,000 12,000 capacity football baseball stadiums
Starting point is 01:18:34 I'm talking about eight to 15,000 person sheds. I know it was the fully loaded tour and he had David telling all these legends on this tour No, I just don't know without it But ultimately I don't care what your package is. When you're anchoring it down and it was your dream child, that dude came to Nashville, sold out the Ryman and the Grand Old Opera back to back. And I don't know if he did two shows of the Ryman or not,
Starting point is 01:18:56 but that's 2,400 and 1 and 48 at the other. He could have done for himself. He's probably the other night. It's supernova. Right, fuck, right. We're talking about, yeah, I, I, from a huge bird fan. No, but I think for, you know, comics is just weird,
Starting point is 01:19:09 jealousy thing, but if Bird doesn't inspire you, what he's doing, like business wife. For sure. And he's such a good person. He's another one. He's so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, How to package and produce shit Bert taught me how to sell tickets That dude's nobody better than fucking 40 grand on a on a promo for a tour right? So just fucking he's not afraid to birthday guy can talk about like I would whenever I have questions about tickets So I see inflation right now. So Bert is a mastermind if you talk about tickets Bert will tell you if you raise it five dollars. This what happens your your sales. Three that $10, this what happens to your sales.
Starting point is 01:19:46 Yeah, he's brilliant. No, for sure. He does clean sellouts. He sells out the single seats. He taught me how to fucking sell the tickets. Fucking Gillis. Shane. Shane's a monster.
Starting point is 01:19:57 He's fucking crushing, dude. The way his whole approach to YouTube and the skits and shit that him and the kids did. Tim Dylan's a monster. Tim Dylan's another juice fucking Absolute these are dudes you watch a stop Star roast is that how you says now? Yeah, he just released his special on on YouTube. Yeah Not one about us. I've never heard of him. Yeah, I want a bar guys
Starting point is 01:20:22 Yeah, he put his, he put his, he put his, yeah, your stove roast, from Comtown, I know that guy, yeah, he's hilarious. He's fucking hilarious, his special is really good, but he's also just really like the way he's putting up clips constantly. He's like filming every night in the comedy, you're doing the same thing I'm watching,
Starting point is 01:20:42 same thing on the road, yeah, dude. You're filming every night, there just be some crowd words, same thing. I'm watching you on the road. You're filming every night. It just be some crowd word, there's some funny shit and quick enough. It's like, dude, rappers, country singers, rock and roll artists need to be studying this shit because we are missing the fucking mark. It's fucking so inspiring to watch the way comedy is like
Starting point is 01:21:00 having it's fucking, it's gonna be bigger than it's gotta be bigger right now than it's ever been. Well, because now it's more competitive. And you talk about this job, it's like now it's so competitive. As far as like, you know, even, you know, when I first started, like eight years ago, I'd go into town. It's like, there were big headlines, but now it's because a podcast like, you're competing against a lot of different comments now, man. Yeah. When the fans are not fans, audience members, regular people, whatever you wanna call them, they're more aware of stand up.
Starting point is 01:21:27 Right. You'll hear them talking about things you like, how, even that guy you just brought up, it's like, I'm in the industry, I don't know this guy. I do him from Comtown though. And people, and people are going, oh yeah, you know, I've heard of, and you're like,
Starting point is 01:21:38 There's more comedy nerds now. I remember when I first started stand up, people, who's your favorite stand up community? And they go, uh, Seinfeld. And you go, have you seen Seinfeld stand up? They're like, no, but I love the show. They people, who's your favorite stand up community? And they go, uh, sign filled. Yeah. And you go, have you seen sign filled stand up? They're like, no, but I love the show. Yeah. They just know he's a comic.
Starting point is 01:21:49 Yeah. They know like Eddie Murphy, but they didn't even know his stand up. Like where it's now, it's like, they're pretty in touch. It's also interesting, like, I'll do it, you know, I've shows that the LaFact on Thursday. I'll go then, there's comics I've never heard of. I watch or sound like, holy, this dude or female is a monster right by counting been doing it eight years yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah you know and then I'll be like how have you not like right and they're just like they either
Starting point is 01:22:17 they're really about the marketing or they've just had bad breaks or there's there's something missing or they're just waiting and there'll be the next big thing or the cool thing about your business is, though, that's different than ours is, dude, they might've just been spending eight years figuring that shit out in the closed privately. For sure. Eight years ago, they might've sucked dick.
Starting point is 01:22:33 Right, and you know what I'm saying? It's like eight years later, you're like, you're fucking killing this like, you should've seen me two years ago. I was in here good boot. But I was saying it's like I fucking found my voice moving it out. Y'all shit is so different like that than us
Starting point is 01:22:45 because it's like we sit privately, package something and then present it to everybody where y'all go work it in front of everybody. It's a wild, could you imagine me like sitting on stage like, hey y'all, I wrote this song in the green room. What do you think? It's like fucking boo. They saved me or leave fat ass.
Starting point is 01:23:03 We've got the same one. It's son of a center bitch. You know what I'm saying? It's like that. He kicked him the classics. Yeah, for sure. Like as a comic, I mean, Bert does the machine story still,
Starting point is 01:23:12 but it's very rare to get a comic. You know, I think some people would want it. Like Seinfield does that. J. Leno does that like the classics. When general, like it's so competitive now, if you're a younger comic, and doing old jokes that are special or clip people saying they'd like, get the fuck out.
Starting point is 01:23:26 Yeah, and then it's like a standard now. It reveals what we do, too. We've lifted the curtain. So now it's like, well, we thought, I mean, they don't think this, but they sort of think that we're just coming up with it off the, but they know we don't, but they also, but we didn't see you two times in a row,
Starting point is 01:23:43 and they see that, then they go, oh, yeah, this is just, it's not as magic. Oh, no, I've had some people come to show him, but I can't, I'm about to get the next one. Is it all new? I'm like, no, you think I do a brand new hour for every show? I will say watching your set develop is something I got to do where I watched you in the pandemic come with new material. Yeah. To Zane, he's like 2020 pandemic.
Starting point is 01:24:05 Yes, sir. And then I watched Gringo Poppy, and of course, I'd seen you right before that. Yup. Back in Nashville. And it was still from 2020 to 2021, or whatever, late 21 to 22 whenever I'd seen you, totally different set almost.
Starting point is 01:24:18 So it was like maybe two or three things that made it through the first 45 minutes I've seen. And then even from that to you finalizing the product and going this is what I'm putting out was still like, there was fucking, I think it was like, you do like a 41 minute specials, it was a little bit over 40 minutes and 30 something minutes. And there was still like 20 something minutes of new life.
Starting point is 01:24:37 Yes sir. And I've been watching this show develop, as you're home, I see it every time, you come to see it, I come to multiple shows, I watch one drunk, one sober. And then it's like, I come to one party, and I'll always come to second night and watch the early show because I fucking get loaded in the second Showed over anything that happened. That's why that's why with the the like green room diaries where whatever city is The first you know five to ten minutes is jokes just for them. It's never again done again
Starting point is 01:25:03 I'm right at the week of the before I get in town. Right such just for them. It's never again done again. I'm riding it the week of the before I get into town. Such just for them. No, that's so fucking dope. But I just think it's cool to watch. I've always admired comedians and I always tell people to be a comic when I grow up, whatever I get tired of writing songs, because you got always have something that's next, right? I feel like you're just getting started. Like, Joey, like, if you get mainstream, like, that's what you want. You know what I'm saying? That's what you want that post-belonem vibe. Yeah, but it's like, it's more than, Joey, like, if you get mainstream, like that's what you want, you know what I'm saying? That's what you want that post-belone vibe, you know? Yeah, but it's like, it's more than, it's just, I just want to touch people, man.
Starting point is 01:25:29 I just want to get, you know, if I didn't think the music, and I'm not just, this isn't like my gimmick. This is like, I like you, I own my IP, I own my masters, I could sell my catalog today by a house on the Holland Drive and just fucking fade to black, and drink myself to death. Brother, it took five years or 15, I could just go into a, yeah, just come hang out whenever you're
Starting point is 01:25:52 I want to, I'll come pod for fun once every three months, I'll come out of my little hidden hills of state, and fucking, yeah, you gotta be trouble for a game. Yeah, it's like, yeah, it's like, I don't even, I'm past this for being, this is like, I wanna touch people. I know how much save me or son of a dude, I get messages just like we all do from fans that are like,
Starting point is 01:26:13 yo, I got sober listening to this song. My mother was on heroin and I played this song for her and it helped her and she's in rehab now. The ones that touched me the most are stuff like this. And I tell this story, Shob. I had a gun loaded sitting on my counter. This is from a fan. And I put on a playlist and I smoked a joint
Starting point is 01:26:34 and poured myself a glass of whiskey to numb myself before I killed myself. And I just couldn't quit listening to your song. And it made me realize I wasn't alone. Oh, I'll say I get a thousand of those a year Let's say 999 of them are telling the fish story. Yeah, they tell they call a fucking six shins. Gupie and told me it was a 12 pound bass, right? Let's imagine 999 I'm exaggerating the truth one of them, but one of them was dead fucking serious and he was gonna kill himself that night Yeah, and I gotta keep doing this
Starting point is 01:27:07 I've got to find a way to find I got to touch so many more thousands of people to keep finding those one Well, then don't go get a house and fade the black I was saying that you know, I was saying good. Yeah, it's like I'm not trying to touch people for the money Yeah, I could cash out and fucking roll off people for the money. I could cash out and fucking roll off. I understood that. The cowboy can ride away. Yeah, the cowboy can ride away because even your girl can afford a bunch of horses. She is fucking awesome. Yeah, she is. Yeah, but also in the cowboy stable. Cowboys aren't worried about touching people. Yeah. They got a horse and a lady to take care of. It's all they can. Cowboys are good folks. That That's my point. They got this shit they got to take care of.
Starting point is 01:27:45 They don't have a Wi-Fi. Did your girls blow up on only fans too? She's still a crush and she's still her patron. You know her podcast, the dumb blinds. That's why I can't believe dude. I was driving. I know. I miss reddestined.
Starting point is 01:27:57 You were supposed to be on the... And we're homies and I was just calling you like, yo, my fuck out, I'm right in the wife. I think of a fight. Because she was like, and she never agrees. And she's like, yeah, I love, shall I? That's your home. I'm doing for sure.
Starting point is 01:28:05 Cause her podcast is crushing on Patreon. God dammit. The dumb blonde podcast, like I'm really proud of her. Like, I just looked up before, like we came on. Cause I saw one of your posts about her and, and I saw a little clip. Yeah, I mean, you know how hot she is. It's like her Patreon is doing only fans numbers for her.
Starting point is 01:28:22 Does she know any other dumb blondes? Oh, a ton. Yeah, dude, my wife is the fucking... So bad. Yeah. And even that, I just love that, yeah, she just fucking, she's just crushing, man. Did you know what you needed going?
Starting point is 01:28:35 Cause she's not the only fan, dude. I can't believe I'm gonna think of this. He might be in New York or Vegas. Adam 22. Dude, you know, it's plugtime. You might hear the most fucked up story ever. It's my boy too. I called Adam and said, hey, yo, I'm coming to LA.
Starting point is 01:28:49 I'll be here these days, cause he'll in a buntier cool, right? And I was like, his girl and I was like, yo, I'm coming to fucking LA. I wanna do the pie. You're not gonna believe this. I'll be a Nashville when you're in LA. Yeah, I know he's traveling,
Starting point is 01:29:01 cause I was trying to do a commandment. I know he's doing a circuit, dude. Yeah, he was like, bro, I go Vegas, the Nashville circuit dude. Yeah, he was like probably go Vegas the Nashville or whatever Yeah, for sure, so he hit me Thursday He was a Nashville before I flew out and I was like I had like a sign of some fixing to slip all day Yeah, so I seen it the next day of misting But he wanted to take me a me and bunny out the dinner and shit out of all that You want plugged first sure? Yeah, dude. I'm trying to do no jumper. Yes
Starting point is 01:29:21 Do no jumper. Yes. You know what I'm saying? That's why I did most jumper. I watched him. He was a great guy. Yeah, he's great. No, Adam's the homie. He's built such a great business.
Starting point is 01:29:28 He's just such a brilliant union when fuck you. Yeah, he's such a good person, man. Hey, Jeff, are you going to put a diaper on that drink? What are we doing, Jeff? You're talking about the rain. You're like a whole last American bro. It took me an hour and 27 minutes to finish a double shot of the keylam.
Starting point is 01:29:41 I'm like shot sick. Here's the rest of the talk about fucking the heart and stuff. You didn't rest on mine, what's going on? I was over here drinking. I was listening to you guys talk. I thought you were worried about me not having a coaster. I was like, why do you care about wood?
Starting point is 01:29:51 No, fuck, you wouldn't need a coaster. What if you were breaking that by the fucker? I was saying, yeah, I leave. I thought it was mad about the rest of the guy. What a fuck, yeah, they were worried about. There, fuck. Jolly world cares about friends. Adam Adam, he's another guy.
Starting point is 01:30:03 The independent like bad. My son. I don't just have a pizza. Just take it out. Such a person man. Building a business like you. He's got a ton of other projects coming out of no jumper. Oh dude, what he's doing like with the only fans and like the podcasts where they, you
Starting point is 01:30:15 know hook up with girls and his wife. I'm like, dude, it's brilliant. No, I mean, I, you know, it's not my business model. For like, he's like the Steve Jobs. No, for sure. He's the end of every man in America come on. And his girl so bad. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:28 And the best part is how he just like is crossing into pop culture now because I just watched him do the podcast tour. He did everything from DJ Akka's academics to KFC radio. It's Chelsea. To fucking Chelsea to barstool all the body. When did the whole barstool circuit? It's like just watching him is like there's no fuck.
Starting point is 01:30:44 And he's such a cool dude, man. He's such a good guy. Just the most downed earth. Like, yeah, man, let's go. Give him a single person on this screen without a ton of tattoos. I know that we need face tattoos. I'm the fucking ad.
Starting point is 01:30:53 But like I was like with Adam's tattoo, too. I was like, god damn man. Like he has so many interesting like wild guests. I was talking to me. I'm like this soft. Yeah, no, no. I'm sure. No, I said a nap. Yeah, no, no, no, I said it. I said it.
Starting point is 01:31:06 Oh, good. So when he has a show, it's actually only fans. Yeah. The plug where they interview or stars and then fuck life. Fuck. I was a hell of a friend. He makes trouble booking guests that I don't. And you thought you were fucking had life figure out, right?
Starting point is 01:31:23 Yes. And he makes all the money. Like, it's nuts. It's fucking it. That's how the wife, girl, yes, his wife. Yeah, yeah, they handle their business, man. It's like me and Buny, they just fucking get their shit done and do it right.
Starting point is 01:31:36 No, he's brilliant. And he's a fucking sweetheart of a guy. He's really, really, really fucking smart. I think if I remember, I'd like grew up on a East Coast and moved out here forever ago, like was BMX bike dude or something. Yeah, BMX bike, yeah. It's got a really cool story and he's been doing it forever You know I discovered like a lot of the early
Starting point is 01:31:52 Change of rap music over there like a XXX10 Tashion the first time I heard of him was through no jumper Yes, the first time I heard six nines music was through no jumper First time I heard Pooja the buffet boys the fucking suicide boys all that shit I heard first a juice world all that shit I Get out of nose. Yes I never heard of none of them the worst Exxc's the crazy Got all that crazy hair and stuff. Yeah, I know that guy. This can't be.
Starting point is 01:32:25 You're like something straight out of American pie. Right? You know what I'm saying? It's like the more I talk to you, the more I love you, and then hate you. No, but also when and stuff. He's like, what the fuck? No, I'm just kidding.
Starting point is 01:32:37 He's like, stifler. No, that's the thing, Jollywood. Like, you could play for him and I go, you'd change my life. I'd become obsessed with the guy in the next day. I was in Germany and we went to this stupid bar that was also a museum and it was dedicated to the Ramones. I never fucking heard of these guys.
Starting point is 01:32:51 I wanted to drink. I was in Germany. I was like, I have to fuck it, I'll go check out these fruit cakes. And so I'm looking at the thing. I was like, I'm a comedian so I started going, oh, look at this, this is Jolly Ramone fucking weirdo. But then I'm getting drunk, I'm listening to the songs,
Starting point is 01:33:05 I'm walking through all the stuff, I was like, actually these guys are pretty dope. So then, and I'm making bank on this NBC travel show, so I'm getting like 50 grand in episode. I text my boys back in a leg, oh, you know, when I get home, I miss all you guys, when I get home, we're all going to Ramon's concert, because I just learned about him
Starting point is 01:33:21 literally like 10 minutes ago, and my friends were smart of me, like, I hope you're sitting down, bud. They're all dead. There's one that's sort of alive who was barely in the band. And, but like, that's how I am. Like, after like two nights, I like did a deep dive on goo. I learned everything about the Ramones.
Starting point is 01:33:38 I'm like a huge fan. So it's like, I just don't know about this stuff. And then when I see it in the middle of the video. A lot of those rappers are like, yeah, like some are. They were super underground, or quite a few of them have passed away. A lot of them look at you. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:33:50 But at the time when I was talking about Lulz, like I saw some close of him, he gets concerned for these guys like Lulz and we're hogging on the show and be like, dude, how are you spending your money? Like, he's actually concerned for some of these in the crowd. Yeah, actually.
Starting point is 01:34:02 Well, also Ed is stuff out like if he was saying, if it's like a rapper beef another rapper, and he was, talk shit, that's fine, but yeah. It's like a gang member and another gang member who's in certain verbiage that he knows gonna shed violence. Well, that is, he's not really supportive which a lot of podcast is part of this.
Starting point is 01:34:18 He's great. Yeah, for sure. How are you doing? Like, are you sending Dillis and Ian? What are you doing with your money? I like Logan Paul and them do that too. I think it's cool when they did the uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh it was our jewelry is like what yeah, Mike. Yeah, there's Mike and Logan are smart
Starting point is 01:34:46 Yeah, they're fucking awesome. Yeah smarter than the island books Close I know what's gonna happen with those guys. They're like you off Yeah, I tuned out that to me just started getting weird when they started having four or five of them. I was like I'm done They popped up on my head like fucking they were just like girl, they were like babies kids. That they multiple. Also what I don't know. Are they from, you know, very strange.
Starting point is 01:35:11 That whole thing just taught me so much about life. Do we try to get my team to work? Are really? Yeah, I mean, theory a lot. Oh, I'm tall. They would have, you know the fuck the fucked up part is, they would have not figured it out. No, that's what we're doing. Y'all would have just fired in the hole is they would have not figured it out. No, that's what we all want to just fire in the hole
Starting point is 01:35:26 And they would have just been like Flames Yeah, their manager's like I don't think so they have a manager. I was their brother Say you some bubble anytime somebody make money there's somebody over there trying to pick that true But those boys can't still be making like where they make money now like the island boy, I can choose by because he'll call me like again, I'll wrap his news, but you but he goes on TikTok and he's like, you know, first person to say like like, you know, put a hundred thousand dollars in cash on their TikTok like can criticize whatever, they're stunting a lot, right? I don't know how they make money. I honestly don't because they're terrible live performers,
Starting point is 01:36:03 they don't seem to have any songs. They look pretty good. If you could explain their business model to me, I'd love it, you know. Yeah, I mean, there has to be some money on the market. There has to be something like someone's paying them to promote on Instagram. Yeah, there has to be some.
Starting point is 01:36:15 But I watched on World Star, then get beat up in a mall. Yeah, right. Jack the chain. Oh, really? But just having that following, you could make money. Yeah, I'm sure. But I can tell you right now that ethical
Starting point is 01:36:25 is supporting them. All right. So would you consider this sell out to be like the joke of the internet, but then be like, but I'm getting paid. Wouldn't you think that's kind of selling out? Well, it depends on, you know, what you're, and what, where you are in your own life, you know, what you're personally, they think they're being authenticated.
Starting point is 01:36:41 It was sucked. Yeah, it's like exactly like whatever your personal integrity is, you know, and I don't think they have kids, icated. It was sucked. Yeah, it's like exactly. Like whatever your personal integrity is, you know? And I don't think they have kids, but that's where shit starts to become really subjective because of the end of the day. Yeah, because at the end of the day, I'm not gonna like, there's nothing I could do that provides for my daughter
Starting point is 01:36:57 that you could judge me for. Right. That's a father, right? No, no, no. You know what I'm saying? But I don't think they have kids. Like if they're a stock and a investing in that. Sure, sure. Yeah, I'm not gonna no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, And the job goes home in Thurmond. In blue lock. Those exact kicks. I give that soup like, Jr. with me. I was there.
Starting point is 01:37:26 They were on World Stry. I love World Stry. But he was getting beat up by his baby mama. So I barely, he punched her. So he does have kids. And then, no, no, sorry, not baby mama. Just a kid's girl. She was whooping his ass.
Starting point is 01:37:37 I'd say yeah. He's crying. And it was a little aim. He was crying. It's not allowed to hit back. Man, well, we've been here a while. I feel like he had his hands full Those guys are disaster. You know what? I could be wrong, but I'm gonna give you my guess right now my guess is they're on
Starting point is 01:37:52 Xanax heavy 100% Yes, it's a completely Separates I agree from reality, right? It just feels that way. You know Fuck man, cuz they don't seem to have a whole lot of worries do they, do they? Yeah, they also don't seem like they leave the house a lot. I haven't seen any pictures that were like in the street. Yeah, I don't think this is some weird stay at home, make a lot of money if you can right now. Druggy, see?
Starting point is 01:38:16 This is a lot of home pictures. What's that with the kid though? Oh no. Got a kid though. Please tell me that's not a his kid. Happy Father's Day to the men out there taking care of the... So he does have a kid? Does have a kid. Oh, this is a random child I found. It's a white baby. Happy Father's J to the men out there taking care of the So he does have a kid? Does have a kid.
Starting point is 01:38:25 Oh, man. This is a random child I found. It's a white baby. You know what the other side of this is? Sure, Stan. The weird flip side of life could be these dudes could be geniuses. This could all be a gimmick.
Starting point is 01:38:35 They could be selling shit to some amount of cats and best thing in half of Miami right now. It's so possible. And they come over and talk you off camera like, Hey, shop, really inspired by your stories. It's a down to go. Yeah, my Andy Kaufman of the rap world. Yeah Literally yes you be I just it's so strange dude you know I'm late to the party I just watched the Jim Carrey movie about Kaufman. Oh great. Oh
Starting point is 01:39:01 Party yeah, you know you so good. You know what made me watch it I watch the documentary that came out out whatever you see how he gets so Which was any copman's family went up to him was like dude you are Andy cough. Yeah, I hate it He was like I'm not Hey, you're an asshole. He tried to convince him that he was yeah, he tried to go He tried to have like this moment with Andy's mom or dad I can't remember which one mom and he was like basically Commenced them that he was channeling Andy and they were actually talking to Andy And I was like that's a little gross. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah help some the only thing is like he stayed in such character
Starting point is 01:39:37 He was a method actor that Ressler on there Jerry Lawler Jerry Lawler when they're at craft services. He got mad though. Jerry Lawler beat him up. Jerry Lawler said Andy was actually really sweet, but when they were filming and doing things, Andy would get into Andy mode. He goes, Jim just acted like Andy mode the whole time, but like really Andy was like polite and like respectful and like knows that it's a stick. Yeah. And so it's like, but Jim didn't get to study real Andy. He had to study Little hot color whatever anything like he he thinks he's channeling the real Andy got me his channel like the entertainer Yes, I need a great job Jim carries brilliant. He said it was just the same after he annoyed everyone got crazy Yeah, I believe that movie went crazy. I believe that. Which is so, that happens a lot though.
Starting point is 01:40:25 And then what they said happened to Heath. Yep. And Jack Nicholson for a little bit. Yep. Who will, oh, what's his fucking name? The guy he's in, he didn't, uh, Nightcrawler. Brilliant actor. Jake Jill, he's like, once I did Nightcrawler, he's like, even now I'm still not,
Starting point is 01:40:42 such a good movie. He's like, I got so involved that guy who's such a narcissist and like sociopath, I'm still not normal for him. Really? And then I go, but also super acting, you know? He's like, I played a TMZ report. It's like, take me to the bathroom.
Starting point is 01:40:56 No, he was like, he was like, he was like a video guy in the news. I remember that accident and shit. Great movie. Great movie. It's the Dodge Challenger. Are you all watching anything right news. I remember that accident and shit. Great movie. Great movie. It's the Dodge Challenger. Are y'all watching anything right now? I don't historically watch shit.
Starting point is 01:41:09 Obi-Wan, I just finished. But because of the tour that I've been on for so long. Hey, come on. This tour has been great. I've been on the bus watching shit. He's watching me offer. He's talking. On Paramount Plus.
Starting point is 01:41:19 It's about when I already went to go make the Godfather and he had to work out a deal with Joe Colombo. Oh my gosh. And my boy, uh, uh, uh, fucking, um, he's in fucking talk. And who am I, uh, miles tellers? It's, yeah, it is actually worth the fucking wide. Oh, I watch it. Why do you think Star Wars is gay?
Starting point is 01:41:38 You love stories, but not the, not the, I like the original Star Wars. These, these spin-offs, oh, they're so good. The money play. It're so good money play It's so good. I mean if your balls deep. I guess it's good Man, it's a good story and it's also like the Dave Follonies making a John Favre like they know what they're doing the story Fucking dope. Yeah, yeah, they're good. They're better. I would argue than really yeah, yeah You know, I want to watch them, but I'll be honest to take that I didn't watch some of the first ones Yes, I'm afraid I would be but they behind. But the older stuff in the beginning,
Starting point is 01:42:05 is it Bill Burnham too? Bill Burzenham. What's his name, C'mon, Nudgeon? Nudgeon. He's named Maneemaw, Nudgeon. Yeah, Brian Possein, there's a comedian in like every episode, but also like the acting's phenomenal.
Starting point is 01:42:17 I get really good. I got really into Bates Motel. Yeah. Five seasons. I think it's an older show. I don't know. It's such a big show of the time. All right, dude, so fucking good. One think it's an older show. I don't know. It's an older show. The time. All right.
Starting point is 01:42:26 It's so fucking good. One of them will warp you in. It's time to watch winning time. Faithless Chris does. It was so good. Winning time. He knows winning time. I love winning time.
Starting point is 01:42:36 I thought it was fire. He's Mr. Laker. Probably Laker is the big trouble for sharing this, but Genia, we would text every episode, and she's like, yep, that happened, yep, that happened, this is true. And like Jerry Bus magic, all these guys are getting mad.
Starting point is 01:42:52 Like that's what happened. That's not what happened, but there's things like, everything that's on the show is true. The difference is they don't know what they said. So everything they said is just Hollywood writers, making up the script, but they know what they said. No. So they have to make up that dialogue.
Starting point is 01:43:07 Right. And they do know what happened. Yeah. So if you're watching it and it's like, if someone's depicting me, I'd be like, I would never say that. I was like, yeah, I know, but they don't know what you said. So they have to make that up.
Starting point is 01:43:17 But they know that this situation happened. They probably made them sound smarter. But Jerry West is like, I'm just an asshole. But then most people are like, yeah, he works James, that's what they said right It'd be like if they made a documentary about me and they show my life Exactly it is and then I get mad at all the bad things. Yeah, okay. Why do they make me sound like a drunk? It's like Jeff You're a drunk
Starting point is 01:43:36 They're not gonna just cherry pick it. You know Jenny bus He's like he don't want me to lay just he I'm like sure I figured you know, I don't know mid-level seats What do we're sitting in Jenny bus is seat? Yeah, I want to see it. Yeah, we're sitting next to it He's talking shit to her about the the players on the court. We're like very good friends So like I get I just get those Go any time you want yeah, I'd love to Yeah, the best of us ever we're getting drunk. He's talking shit to her about the trades and stuff. Oh my god
Starting point is 01:44:01 I was like dude just relax. Oh, so I know could have, like, I don't even know if the, like, I would have them, like, I can't believe you got rid of a Cruiser. Yeah, he's giving a shipper getting rid of Cruiser. I'm like, he's like, what's that for the both? I thought it was fire. I thought the whole show was fire. Oh, really?
Starting point is 01:44:15 I thought it was fucking so. I didn't make me look at anybody in a bad, like, I respect Jerry Wess. Right, because Jerry Wess, Paul, I saw the first two episodes where it made him look like a psycho, yeah, which he was. And then, and then the rest of this series made him look great exactly I don't think he watched the rest of the series. He just I do the one fucking determined to be a fucking winning franchise and do what he had to do to make it happen
Starting point is 01:44:37 And was a fucking obsessed compulsive fucking nutcase, but that's fucking off So the way that yours like I don't know if you're being in the sports Maybe you know, sure, oh, they never mind I can not case, but that's fucking awesome. So the way that you're like, I don't know if you're big into sports. Are you big into sports? Oh, sure. Oh, they're never mind. I always tell people like, they'll be like, I don't like basketball and I recommend winning time and they love it.
Starting point is 01:44:51 Same with Star Wars. You don't have to like Star Wars to watch Mandalorian. Like you could like think sci-fi stuff, dumb space stuff. I don't like space stuff. But if you watch like the Mandalorian, you go, oh, this is a fucking Western. It's a Western space.
Starting point is 01:45:04 I'm gonna, I'm gonna, because of you, I'll be on the bus this weekend. The Mandalorian, your lover episode one you go, I'm in. Yeah, but have you seen Yellowstone 1888? Oh yeah, for sure. All right, well, you're a Westworld. I love Cowboyship. Yeah, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I thought I wouldn't get into it.
Starting point is 01:45:19 I thought it was two dialogue driven. Which one? Well, Yellowstone, my wife was like, you gotta watch it. And then I was like, I was like, I was like, as soon as it was over, I was like, I love you. Don't watch another one. It's an information heavy. They kind of have to set up the whole thing. I went back and watched, fuck, I knew I would finish the whole thing.
Starting point is 01:45:30 I would argue 1883 is better than real stone. I'm a big dick, I'm a girl fan, so I thought that was just fun. I was like, I'm a big dick, I'm a girl. I'm a big dick, I'm a girl. I'm a big dick, I'm a girl. I'm a big dick, I'm a big dick, I'm a girl. I'm a big dick, I'm a girl.
Starting point is 01:45:41 I'm a big dick, I'm a girl. I'm a big dick, I'm a big dick, I'm a girl. I'm a big dick, I'm a girl. I'm a big dick, I'm a big dick, I'm a girl. I'm a big dick, I'm a big dick, I'm a girl. I'm a big dick, I'm a big dick, I'm a girl. I'm all went back and watch fucking yeah, we finished the whole I would argue 1883 is better than real stone. I'm a big big draw fans. I thought I was just five. I'm a big fan of five dude. My family, you know, we go to Hawaii like everybody else does since Yellowstone,
Starting point is 01:45:55 we only go to Montana now. Right like that. I'm telling you that sure. Do you play Montana? Communically I did a Boise, side hope. Yeah, yeah. Uh huh. You know, not Montana. Yeah. But they've got good Montana gives you.
Starting point is 01:46:10 They really brush out. Oh, I do. Or you put like Billings, like pubs, stuff. Billings in that but and then there's one more big city out there. But Lucas Ceeley books, you would sell out. So that. Yeah, but Boise is one of the best venues I've ever played. Middle appendix theater, it sells out. I'm getting ready to go out and the manager comes in the back and goes. Yeah, but boys is one of the best venues I've ever played middle of pandemic theater
Starting point is 01:46:29 It sells out. I'm getting ready to go out and the manager comes in the back and goes It's right at the start of pandemic. She was hey, there's protest about signing a Y and I was like oh, because the everyone's out Backstained and they don't have mask on she goes no, they're anti-mask. I go wait and they're protesting my show Yeah, they're not get the memo. I don't give a fuck. I don't. I go to me. It's free choice. Do what you want if you want to wear a mask I don't care where a mask won't be vaccinated get vaccinated. I don't care right for sure and I go also this easy I'll go out there she just know he can't go out there. I'll go out there. So you're like hey Nobody in here's wearing a mask. Yeah, I'm like no, it's all good. They went let's move on No, it's all good to it. Let's move on. Yeah, let's say, let's do it.
Starting point is 01:47:03 Let's say, yeah, for the park, to the local waffle house. We got to night off. On the chiles. Yeah. What's the, I'm trying to remember, it's Missoula. Yeah. That's what I fly into.
Starting point is 01:47:16 It's like a half-knowledge, Missoula. We got in a fight leaving Missoula on the way to a billing for something. And we stopped at like an off diner on tour. This is many moons ago. And I'll never forget, we was in the restaurant, it was only a few of us awake, so we were just in our eating and randomly,
Starting point is 01:47:37 all these old cowboys pull up. And I was like a bar must have just let out or something. Right? It's like two in a morning or something. They're tough boys. And I remember right then I was like, I looked at my dude, I was like, it's fitting to happen. Before they walked in, I could just knew.
Starting point is 01:47:52 I was like, I knew where we were. I knew what the energy was gonna be. I was like, where for sure fixing to get a fight? That sucks though, why? Yeah, I just, you know how you just feel it. You know what I mean? I'm just like, this is gonna happen. Like it just, they were rowdy walking in.
Starting point is 01:48:04 I was like, your boys were eating like salads. First first. Yeah, we're in there. We're like We're in there. Just we just look like a bunch of skin We've got the only one that looks like a cowboy the rest of us look like rockers and rappers You know what I mean? So I'm just like is this gonna happen? You know what I mean and When we get up to leave What what I'm what I'm goes, well, I hate it when the account of mother fuckers come to this town. And I was like, here it is.
Starting point is 01:48:30 And I was like, please don't pick this out of the air. One of my dudes was like, what kind of mother fuckers you talk, my like, just old fucking whatever, you know, he just patched something, you know, he said something funny. And I was just like, and then, you know, one thing turns to another. We ended up getting into a full blown fist place and waiting earlier in my career. But you remember moments like that? Cause we only fought, you know.
Starting point is 01:48:52 A handful of times. A handful of times on tour ever. You know what I mean? And everyone of them's always, cause we're such a big group. It's like on tour, you know, you know how y'all move. It's like there's always a ton of us. So if we ever get into fight, it's cause there's a ton of them.
Starting point is 01:49:04 Correct. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, it's because there's a ton of them. Correct. You wanna say it's like it never turns out to like most of the time, two or three drunk dudes are looking to be like, oh, that's an entire bus full of people. Yeah, you always get jumped out. Well, you get in the 30 fights, you're gonna remember all 30. Yeah, first time fight.
Starting point is 01:49:17 Yeah, we got. But tell you, do you have like, I have like, I forget where I was at, some of the Midwest, and I come out and I look out and there's like a bike, a biker guy, the front row. And I start making fun of you. What a, what a, sons of anarchy. Actors just get done with you. I just get out and they're not laughing.
Starting point is 01:49:33 Yeah, they go. I'm like, what? Yeah, I'm like, oh, that's weird. And I keep looking. I see one get up, go to the bathroom. I see hell's angels on the back. I'm like, oh, fuck. Yeah, I see a struggle dude.
Starting point is 01:49:42 Dude, I, real motherfucking dude. So I get to the back, but they bought the VIP. They're in the front reserved VIP. There's like 12 of them. Yeah. And I'm in the back and I tell my brother, like, you see the fucking hell thing? So the front of you goes, yeah, they're in wine, dude.
Starting point is 01:49:55 So the main guy goes, oh fuck. So he goes making fun of them. They're the nice people ever. And then I'll never forget this. The main guy goes, bro, we on the strip club up the street man Union your brother it's on us. At least we can do with a sin show all the time He goes the birds are sucking the boys off. I was like. Yeah, the birds He's like the girls. Oh, no, I was like, oh, there's poor bird. That's like how I talk. I was like poor birds
Starting point is 01:50:19 Yeah, I mean, you want to go like fuck yeah Yeah, and then he's a guy man. We'll wait for you at the back and you know We can fall us there my brother's like bro. We're not going oh Angel strip. Yes, yeah, you get to now. They're waiting at the fucking door You get those like rough dudes. Oh, yeah, all the time like when we're in Portland Big down. No, what he does proud. Yeah, it was bro. You need anything you let us know as a kid. Yeah I don't know what I need, but thank you. I'll just support my man. That's fine, that's sure.
Starting point is 01:50:48 They're cool. You know what it is? They're great people because, one, they're not a fan of much as a group. Correct. So the shit they share as a group, they're like, oh, this is like, we're gonna ride for this. Yes.
Starting point is 01:50:59 It's like, their culture is like, whatever they're into, they're into, whatever they're not, they're not. Yes. So they're into it, they're like, we fuck with you. I do feel like bikers are very sweet that way. Like they're like family, marry, those, they're rough, but they're like. The problem is literally with shit
Starting point is 01:51:14 that has nothing to do with us. Right. No, it doesn't involve us. First, you're like, I was straight to the fuck. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding.
Starting point is 01:51:21 If those dudes have a problem with some dudes, it's not like a, we're drunk bikers trying to fight some dudes at a bar. This is like some real like, you need to get the fuck out of here. We got a real pro. Also, don't call him a biker again in front of them. He's gonna go motorcycle.
Starting point is 01:51:32 Yeah, we're a motorcycle. Okay. Yeah, whatever you wanna call him. Whatever you wanna call him. Whatever you wanna call him, right? They're all, they're great. Struggle, mob to me. Struggle tours all the time and meets with all of them.
Starting point is 01:51:43 He has them, you know, he plays bike week and that's his like culture because he rides. Yellow was the same way he rides. So he's having the culture. They just come to my shows and always take care of them. But we had a show. I'll never forget this one. We're in Charlotte. And I'd like to think it was the outlaws because we hit a lot of hills. Angels come out in some cities. It's always different. But we're in Charlotte, North Carolina. Pull up struggle. You see, he looks like a biker. By the way, he's fucking like, yoked up all jacked and shit.
Starting point is 01:52:11 And put yellow wolf crash site. No, that's a, yeah, on it's own. Yeah, that's so that's so. When you get a song with, yeah, they've had a lot of records. And then he was close with Bubba Sparks too, right? Yeah, for sure. Yeah, but you see struggle, he's wearing a cut right there.
Starting point is 01:52:24 But it's right, it's not a motorcycle club cut, but it's still going on. Don't go, you struggling to find weights. too, right? Yeah, for sure. Yeah, but you see Struggle, he's wearing a cut right there. But Struggle is not a motorcycle club cut, but it's still a lot of fun. Don't look like you struggling to find weights. Am I right? For sure. Yeah, dude, you should see him now. A lot of tech is again. Struggle is like,
Starting point is 01:52:34 type in Struggle, Jimmy. He's just a female. This dude? It's like, first of all, he was fat fat. And then he came, we did like five years of federal prison and came home was like, fucking, you gotta look at him right here. He's jacked.
Starting point is 01:52:45 This is dude. Did tell me he doesn't look like inmate number seven, six, nine, five, four, three, two. Guys like that love us. They love comedians. Yeah, no, for sure. No. So he just looks the part, but he'll calm me every now and then
Starting point is 01:52:56 like, yo, I'm sitting in the hell's angels home. But I come out of the back of fucking, look, he just looks like that. Look at him. Look at him. That dude was in prison. Look at him. Just ball and poke. I thought that was so awesome that he posted that. That at him. Look at him. That dude was in prison. Look at him. He's just balling.
Starting point is 01:53:05 He got his struggles. I thought that was so awesome that he posted that. That was like a struggle at all. Yeah, not for sure. Look at who? James named a thrug. No, for sure. He's a fucking animal now.
Starting point is 01:53:15 Yeah, I knew him because when they did the Nashville, other than mine come from me and my struggle. Yeah, it does. Because when they did the Nashville Kind of document your thing on vice you struggles and And Bubba absolutely 100% yeah, yeah, what's some of the biker gangs like what's some of the names? Hell's angels hell's outlaws. So we were at porn star karaoke in the Valley Right, that's it used to be a good place the pandemic shut it down I don't know that heard about that place here.
Starting point is 01:53:45 It's dope. So what they do is once a week on a certain night, I remember for over a decade, it'd be they get all these porn stars, and the porn stars would basically host a karaoke night. I heard about this. I was like, wait, there's porn stars at a dive bar and like you sing karaoke?
Starting point is 01:54:00 And they'd be like 10 porn stars, but like four famous ones. Sounds awesome, right? It was dope. And you just get to like go hang out and like a lot of creeps jump, so like you look like 10 porn stars, but like four famous ones. Sounds awesome, right? Who's dope. And you just get to like go hang out and like a lot of creeps jump. So like you look like a rock star. Cause they're like, I would actually fuck that guy
Starting point is 01:54:10 for three. It was really normal. Yeah, you like a not a creep. So we're there. We're having fun. We're just kind of watching. We're drinking the owner knew who I was. So that helps also like that made me very flattered
Starting point is 01:54:20 or whatever. But then all these dudes came in and they were in vests and they're like They don't know they want any jokes or anything like like the very serious like biker vests Yeah, there's 20 of them 20 guys in a small dive There's a lot outlaws of some wild and they sit down and it was it was the outlaws the Mongols Mongols the mooyay and and My my buddy brand was like starstruck my buddy brand brand toh blue was like, you know what those are. I was like, I don't know, shit about shit.
Starting point is 01:54:46 You know that, right? I don't know anything. So that's something about that. I was like, some guy. I get Starstruck to about Biker. He got Starstruck. He goes, that's like the one of the most famous gangs in the... So I go, I'm gonna go get a picture with him.
Starting point is 01:54:58 He goes, no, no, no, no. Like, don't go up to those guys. That's how they do it. They gotta be fine, dude. And he's like, no, and they like kept me from like going up to these guys, but. They've been a bad idea. These dudes, they watch Kyrgyz like this. Like there's some guy sucking a Kyrgyz,
Starting point is 01:55:12 we're all laughing, there's a bunch of slut porn stars going like, ha ha, like everyone, everything fun except these guys. Well, they're just prying for the porn star. Oh my God, in a way, you're shitty. They were so busy. They were gonna post pussy on the way out. They were just waiting till last call.
Starting point is 01:55:26 Fun apple, just amazing. Yeah, but like there's something cool about it. I mean, I know I shouldn't like, no, there's something, but it was something cool about the community. Like this like group. There's something higher on the rising about it, right? Yeah, they don't live by the same rules. You know, they're playing a game where if they get caught,
Starting point is 01:55:42 they're going away for like, it's like mafia. And it's funny how they identify themselves openly. Like the cut will say president. Yes. On the vest. Amanda, prospect. And there was a guy. Friend of.
Starting point is 01:55:53 You know what I'm saying? You're like, what the. There was a young guy, not a young guy, but he was the lowest on the ranks. And he was carrying all the drugs and weapons. Yeah, because if they, he's not passed, then he's the guy that takes the fall. Yeah, he's not passed, then he's, the guy that takes the fall. Yeah, he's not passed.
Starting point is 01:56:06 Well, I would like to thank to earn a straight line. To earn a straight line. To earn a straight line. To earn a straight line. I would think maybe he was just carrying their keys to their motorcycle. Yeah, that's not what I was saying.
Starting point is 01:56:13 How fucked up you guys in the good, good standing citizens had drugs and guns. That's what you do. The hell's angels, you know, they're a straight up corporation business. For sure. They have the baddest that you know they're straight up corporation business the baddest lawyers you know yeah i'm a buddy on the i want to his name very famous

He's dead. He's in California. And there's a motorcycle.
Starting point is 01:56:46 He copied them. They sent him a season to assist a day later in public sight. He's like, I don't know how to do anything. I was like, man, I don't see that guy. He's like, I can do anything. He's walking with his girl. Don Beverly Hills. They all pull up.
Starting point is 01:56:59 Of course. Like if you sell one more fucking item just like ours, I'm telling you, I promise. Didn't threaten them, just like legally threaten them. I don't know if it's physical, just legally threaten them. He took it down the next fucking. They're not gonna do it. It's not Taco Bell. Yeah, we're talking about the hell's ain't it?
Starting point is 01:57:16 They're probably gonna do it. They're probably gonna do it. I'm like, I feel like I'm gonna do something. It's a bad idea, dude. The hell's ain't just tell you stop doing something. I'm not calling there, I'm so much to listen myself. Yeah, we're sending a decent desist Yeah, they do it's not a threat to murder you It wasn't even sent by a lawyer. It was just about like the main the toughest guy in that group
Starting point is 01:57:34 But people try to pop it all the time. They're like Disney, bro We've been to a lot of clubhouses. We've left a lot of shows and went to the clubhouse Yeah, no, I'm glad house. How you do it? I'm low with Jeff growing up, son, proud of you, man. I'm so proud of you. For all your lack of cocaine and hip hop knowledge, you make up for it and all that. That's the last thing, but I'm here to be tough.
Starting point is 01:57:52 Yeah, that's it, fucking good. I just love this. It's just touching bread. It is 10, 20 p.m., gentlemen. Date that awesome, and we're just sitting here for the talk to White Tech's Vicar. You know that means you get about biker times. Got it, I'm not.
Starting point is 01:58:02 What a pie. You all's whole concept of what y'all do is the coolest wildest shit ever. We're literally just sitting in here getting smack drunk. Yeah, but we want to be talking about hell. Sackies. We want to be. Two hours in his podcast.
Starting point is 01:58:16 It's like how in the fuck did we end up here? Athletes want to be rock stars. Rock stars want to be athletes. Committees want to be, it's all. Yeah. First thing I like, respect each other. I think it's a respect of the art. I mean, ians want to be it's all yeah I think it's a respective the I want to be a motorcycle game, but yeah, I want to be a cowboy bro Yeah, you could do that real I I used to not like Westerns my entire life and then I played the game red dead redemption at the same time ready to
Starting point is 01:58:39 Rimbus you to Do you still play games? What's that? The game's good enough. I know I slowed that. Red Dead Redemption. I had reason I've got in. Came out at the same time as the ballad of Buster Scruggs, the coven move. Oh shit.
Starting point is 01:58:52 Oh my god. Since then I've been obsessed with Cowboys. All Cowboys shit. You're playing video games? Yeah, on the board. What do you like? Listen, you don't listen. I just did a radio tour.
Starting point is 01:59:02 Shob, I have spent like, I'd say more than 80% of this year on the bus. Really? That's tough, dude. It's me and my wife were like, we wrote down how often we've been sleeping at the house recently, like I've slept in our bed. Heart breaking.
Starting point is 01:59:19 And it was sad when she brought it to my attention. Like, do you know you slept in your bed nine times in the last 80th hour? Oh my God. That's a sacrifice. When you see Bert tomorrow, being him, we're talking about it. When he, I was talking about how,
Starting point is 01:59:32 yeah, I mean, it's a good thing in fact, I can't leave my kids for more than three days. I get physically ill, I can't do it. And Bert's like, man, I wish I was like this. Like, I go on tour tomorrow on my tour bus, I'm gone for two months. No, I watch I told my I was like here's the difference, but in yeah, I was like I'm not knocking on the dad That's your path and you get it done your great dad. I

We hang out the Caitlin Jenner and Nikki Glazer He does a Netflix show where it takes time for him to several hangs out with Caitlin Jenner and Nikki Glazer. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:00:25 You like that? That's the best show ever, though. For a while. Yo, when Miss Pat flipped on that bit. Yeah. I was like, what is happening? Yeah. Oh, man.
Starting point is 02:00:33 Hey, so how do you play games on the road? Just hook up the Xbox into the Wi-Fi on the bus. Xbox to like a TV on your bus? Yeah, for sure. There's a company called Games, G-A-E-M-S. Seriously, look it up. And if you want to offset you up, offset you up with them, they'll give you this thing. It's basically like a briefcase.
Starting point is 02:00:49 I play it in the airport. Really? G-A-E-M-S is like, it's like a little briefcase you travel with. And then you just so hard to make yourself spell games wrong, right? If you can find G-A-E-M-S. If you find like an outlet at the airport, you can just play with this briefcase.
Starting point is 02:01:07 The briefcase pops all your shit. But you can play it on the bus, man. I know, but this is what I can do. This is the green airport, if you're ever sure. Like you just plug it in like that. It has an HDTV screen on the top part and it opens up. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:01:20 Dude, they hooked on my buddy Eric Griffin. They hooked up, oh yeah, you guys are guys. I got you. And then,'s it's the best plane system HDTV you just put your system right in the thing. I'm gonna look it up. It's so sick. Yeah, it's like But I play like red dude like at the Our plan like call the duty a lot and we're doing a lot of war zone Yeah, we just I don't know I've been spending so much time on the fucking bus It's like whatever I can be happy to be home though. Yeah. Oh fuck yeah, I got two weeks off coming here Saturday
Starting point is 02:01:51 I got shows in Florida better. We're having Florida. Um Jacksonville Thursday with Brandley Gilbert Friday, Panama City Beach with Brandley Gilbert and Saturday somewhere I would have known about forgot but it was somewhere right down there on that coast line. It's gonna be fucking super fire but the cool thing is when you were talking about that conversation we have a bird I got to watch it. I got to watch a bird when he talked to Chrissy D about the kids and the traveling on the road and you know they had a really emotional moment. I've been that's another thing I've been catching up on. Boy I've caught up on pod cast bubble. Yeah there we go run them jelly roll tour dates one time heard you know the next time I'm here. I hope to come here before them But in September I'm playing the Honda Center in anaheim. I know it's like oh, we know dude
Starting point is 02:02:31 We're there. I'm at the Honda Center. It's gonna be a it's gonna be at the Honda Center in September I also played in the Honda Center not comedy. I fought there really Do you remember everyone in your fights? Oh, yeah, so that's what I'm saying earlier like if you fight a lot Like you remember all your fight. Oh, yeah. So that's what I was saying earlier, like if you fight a lot, like you remember all your fights. Oh man, the UFC though. Cause it's stressful. No, but I'm saying like,
Starting point is 02:02:48 Oh yeah, like it was yesterday. Every moment. You could go, how did you do it again? So, so you wouldn't go, I forget. You went to Markson's, right? Yeah, I bet you don't remember all those. There's at least a smoker. Yeah, there's so much kind of, just like,
Starting point is 02:03:00 Oh, it's my first free guess. For the time you fought and Boulder called out, you're like, Oh yeah, fuck, okay, maybe I did did you see ones I remember yeah the Honda one I remember I fought Gabriel Gonzagged There was a big deal. Yeah, that's the shine down to our world. Well, you fight all the people I don't like Somewhere later it's like going yeah, we're getting close. Oh there are closed there There's October yep, it's October then you're in We're really close there. There's a Talk over it. Yep, it's our October then you're in
Starting point is 02:03:24 Comments open for you Joe. Yeah, and I'm fitting announced a bunch of dates between oh fuck you get red rocks and profeta. Yeah, so now That's a big deal now Talk about this when you were nasswell December 9th. I'm a text to you and Jay again to remember but I won't tell them out I want you to block that Friday. Yeah, it'd be great I don't know. We have to go. Yeah, but it's right Opening up for you on the road. I mean, that's obvious. Comedy never works for opening up for music. Yeah, no, listen, I can tell you where it worked.
Starting point is 02:03:50 Josh Wolff did my rhyman show. He's like the Torres, he introduced Ernest and introduced me. The trick was he just came out, kept it fun and fast. Yeah, yeah. He did like three, seven minutes or something like it. You know, if you were a bunch of ass. I've done a lot of crowd work, but it's only a 2,000, 3, he did like three seven minutes or something like I've done a lot of crowd 3,000
Starting point is 02:04:09 15 minutes I don't know I've done well in front of musicians and then also Also the worst I've ever done was in front of music. Yeah, I bombed in front of like some rapper named Qingi in St. Louis I did so terrible I did so terrible I'm like, I'm gonna vomit right there Hey listen, for what it's worth, chingy bombed Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah He was dope too He also bombed right after
Starting point is 02:04:32 He was like, I went to my grand song And I like sat on the floor I didn't even want to sit on the couch It's like, I don't deserve it Blue Bullcage, college, college Have you ever seen this? I'm a terrible stuff Dude, hey, to be so much
Starting point is 02:04:43 I sat on the floor and I leaned up against a mini fridge and the magnet on the mini fridge was a suicide hotline and this makes sense. What was your biggest bomb? That was my to-be-dance. That was it for real when you took your own shop. I should have got a different one. Biggest like on Torobee, Pittsburgh was tough. Really?
Starting point is 02:05:01 Pittsburgh was tough. I bought it in front of a band in Seattle, so the band goes, I met the guy in a bar, like a dive bar, and he was like, do this guy's dope, I'll come see him in Giggle's comedy club. He saw me do really well at Giggle's, because it's a comedy club. So then like two weeks later,
Starting point is 02:05:17 he's like, I was like, I wanna bring some girls to your show. And he goes, well, he goes, I just talked to my manager, do you wanna open for us? And I go, nah, nah, nah, I just wanna come see you. And he goes, alright just talked to my manager to want to open for us. And I go, nah, nah, I just want to come see you. And he goes, all right, so my manager said, they'll give you a free bar tap if you come open for us. So I said, nah, nah, because I was kind of an open mic, I was kind of, it was kind of green.
Starting point is 02:05:35 I do well in comedy clubs, but I wasn't like ready for that. I don't even do a conference, like two years. And so then he goes, he goes, all right, how about this? My manager, because we're just going back and back Text he goes free bar tab and it give you 200 bucks and at that point my I'm just living in a car Yeah, I'm kind of homeless. I mean homeless people don't have cars, but I had a car I slept in a car and so I was like I can't say no to 200 bucks and free drinks so I go fucking I'll do it Dude I bomb so hard that two guys got kicked out of the
Starting point is 02:06:05 venue because they wanted to fight. We're trying to get on stage. Yes you know the beast Jim Brewer opened for Metallica. Jim Brewer is great. Yeah but he I've seen him bomb before. I mean like the wrong venue is the wrong venue. It's a tough gig but Jim Brewer a lot of times you know he crushed it. Yeah but still he might be the most famous guy I've ever seen really, Bob. You know what I think the sheer difference is, is the standing and sitting, like the idea of like most venues like have a pit that's standing only.
Starting point is 02:06:36 So it's like, they came here to socialize before music. They're standing, they're talking, there's a different mindset. When I go to comedy, I'm always sitting, I'm never seen comedy show that I was standing up for. No. I'm always sitting, it's always a ten of you. Know you're coming to be a ten of.
Starting point is 02:06:56 You know what I mean? So I think it's just a different mindset. My biggest bomb have two. But one of them was Chelsea Hander. As a musician? Yeah, oh fuck, you think we don't have to deal with the boot perjury, but I would love to hear this because I don't think.
Starting point is 02:07:09 I got two great ones. The first one is Chelsea Handler and invited me to come and speak at Princeton with her for a Netflix documentary at Princeton. So I'm like, all right, cool, I'm coming. And she was like, we used to sing a couple songs after you speak. I was like, yeah, whatever. So I come, first of all, I'm smoking. And she was like, we used to sing a couple songs after you speak. I was like, yeah, whatever.
Starting point is 02:07:26 So I come, first of all, smoking weed in Princeton. It looks like fucking Hogwarts, right? And we're fucking, we're fucking, we're smoking out there, we're getting high. We go to this little green room and this, this is goddamn princess, like the library. They made it into a Netflix area where they're doing like a serious film
Starting point is 02:07:42 about white privilege or something. And I'm like, fuck, I'm in prison, right film about white privilege or something and I'm like Yeah, I can't believe I'm here and I just love Chelsea. So I'm like whatever and me and my guitar player in the back And he's like what two songs are we gonna do and I was like These two and then in the bottom of the ninth I was like when you do this certain song and he was like Young man looks at me goes he goes, not the crowd. I go, I go, not trusting man, they're gonna feel it. It's honest and real, he was like,
Starting point is 02:08:10 it's a place for honest and real, he's a Princeton kid. Yeah. Nobody's here on a fucking scholarship doc. Yeah. Everybody paid millions of dollars saying it, trust it. You're not playing Tennessee State. This is an Auburn. He was like, for Princeton, they're not gonna feel it.
Starting point is 02:08:23 Nobody here has ever been through any kind of trouble in their life. I was like, I was like, relate to that. Yeah, for sureurn. He was like, we're friends, then is there not gonna feel it nobody here has ever been through any kind of their life? I was like, relate to that. Yeah, for sure. And I'm like, biggest struggle is trust me over explaining things to them. My crush. I'm like, I'm like, look, I've never got to tell this story full. I get up there and we're talking and I can tell that I'm not winning the crowd over talking neither. It's like a, you know, the vibe. You feel like two minutes in your, you feel like, I'm saying funny stuff and I can tell that I'm not winning the crowd over talking neither. It's like a no divide. You know, like two minutes in your life. I'm saying funny stuff and I'm like, man, this is brutal. And we're just having like dialogue conversation. And I'm just like, you know, I'm being funny because my whole thing in this documentary was I just didn't, you know,
Starting point is 02:08:59 everybody else was there on some serious shit. And I was just there on some like, I want to be on Netflix shit. Yeah. Right. You know what I mean. So they were like, what do you think about this? I was like, fuck, I don't, man, I'm high. I just came here because I'm in Princeton. Crickets. I was like, God, I should have worked. Yeah, that's different. Yeah, and we played the first song
Starting point is 02:09:15 and it's kind of a moving song and they're kind of just at least obligatory nodding. So when you're like, what's your proud out? Yeah, right. So the second song it's called the smoking section, it's a one of my favorite songs. I hope heaven has a smoking section And I do a bridge and I'm like, yo if you ever lost someone you love them put your hands up and sing as my fuck What up not one person on a hand and I'm like, I hope that and never in my life have I done that part and Somebody didn't go sing it with me
Starting point is 02:09:42 They get up when I hope that Silence dude, I hope that... No. Silence, dude! I was like... You know what? Listen, I finished. And it was so brutal. I would have been like, fuck you. One person went to clap, they went.
Starting point is 02:09:58 And when they realized nobody was rad with it. They stopped. Yeah, they were like, they were like, they were like, they did it. They went with their love. Oh, sorry, I They were. They said. They went to love. They go, oh, sorry, I clapped. I guess one poor soul felt bad. It's not maybe they'd get a little group. Second one, Cypress Hill Aztec Theater.
Starting point is 02:10:15 Love Cypress Hill. San Antonio, Texas. We come out on stage early in my career, 2000, like 14 or something, right? Nobody knows our songs. We're the first act on a Cypress Hill 25th anniversary towards some shit, 20th anniversary to all. They're dying for Cypress Hill.
Starting point is 02:10:34 Yeah, not giving back. It's fun here all the time. In the play in the main play. And this was my first time as like Houston. So like we did Louisiana, I crushed, we did Birmingham, I crushed. They took me because it was the south. Yeah, but this was like as far west as I had ever been or Yeah, I guess wherever San Antonio is the first I ever fan base hasn't touched those parts. They had no blue jelly rolls of human I'm killing in Houston. So I'm on a high horse. I'm like we're finna fuck. It's gonna be great. My wife's there
Starting point is 02:11:03 We're just like courting like we we haven't even like fucked or nothing like we'd kind of we're like Friending it. She's gonna be crazy I go up on stage in the first song. I'm like put your mother fucking hands up and no hands People don't tell us what to do. This is a show like normally you can win with that at least once no matter What if you overdo it They'll quit putting their hand on it at least get one early in your career or people like yeah, I put my hand up with whoever But doesn't say Brazil do that yeah, well, it's but you they don't fucking know me right? Let's get going normally like I said you'll get one. You know, we're there just like all right. We'll give you a chance
Starting point is 02:11:39 Well, we're with yeah, right. We'll show you we give you a chance. Yeah, not one. I look stage right and Well, so you we give you a chance yeah not one I look stage right and there's a group that have begun to be the Boobirds And I keep hearing them periodic, you know, it's like 10 of them I'm like and I had a moment of clarity between song one and two like clear moment of silence and all of them in use with Real quick and I was like I looked at these jobs, I dropped a guy down the song, we needed to drown out the boo birds. And I know how the boo birds work. They spread fast.
Starting point is 02:12:11 Yeah. It is the early code. It's in the easy way crew know it. It's like Omnicron dude. It's that new. I very, it's the new. Evil spread fast. I was like, this is it's been to happen.
Starting point is 02:12:21 I went over and I wrapped every bar of this verse in the, like this little group like I was fucking almost in his nose And it's like I had like a really aggressive song. Yeah, so I'm just fucking you mother fucker fucking the more I did it the more he kind of went they went I was like and at that moment I was like cool and I didn't like crush But at least I left with an obligatory like this. You went over the boobard. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:12:46 And you girls, I prevented what could have been a shit storm. Right. Right. You know what I'm saying? Because that's what hate is hates cowardly. Yeah. But when you look at him, he goes, all right, I like this guy. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:12:55 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:13:03 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. let you boom me. Like I will jump down and y'all will have to kick my ass in here. And before you get the other 2800 people booing. It was your girl at the time like, huh? Yeah, she was like, okay, well, that's interesting. He's a little gangster. It's like, turn out as human. I went to the merch booth because back then,
Starting point is 02:13:15 you're like, after every show, you're like, yo, I do this every night y'all. Cypress Hill's not coming on this day for 30 minutes. No matter how much you can form, you might as well come out and teach her a meeting. Seven people came to the fucking mercy of that night and was proud. One of them I called the birthday Mexican.
Starting point is 02:13:32 The whole time, he was very like, I didn't know you, but I came to meet you because this is my birthday, right? And if you know, I didn't think I'd like you, but you're okay, and it is my birthday. It's a call on the birthday of three birds. Yeah, he just kept telling you. I love it. You have any tapes? Yeah, because this not going to be a bird. Yeah, it's a guy on the birdie. Yeah, he just kept telling you how to do it.
Starting point is 02:13:46 You have any tapes? Yeah, because this is my birthday. Keep saying your birthday, my man. My wife was standing at the birth with me, booth women. She was like, it's that guy's birthday. That was like, yeah. That's great. I love it, man.
Starting point is 02:14:01 Well, it's fucking 1040, boys. You gotta wrap this up. Yeah, fuckers. Hold on, Kim. I just want to say like, Jelly Roll. I love it, man. Well, it's fucking 1040 boys.
