Dan the infernal gamemaster returns to quiz Elliott and Stu on big Hollywood movies that the world has mostly forgotten.

Hey everyone, welcome to the flop house. I'm Dan McCoy. I'm Stuart Wellington. I'm Elliot Kaelin. No jokes needed, Dan. Yeah, it's true. Well, I was a little distracted because Stuart looks so bemused by me saying my name. No, I was still laughing because that was like the fourth time you're like, okay, let's just get into it. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Yeah, you know, I think, you know, a lot of false starts helps our energy as a podcast.

That's what I'm really. Yeah, yeah, it's the audio equivalent for us of struggling to get a condom on. In the middle of sex, yeah. The best part of sex. Yeah. It's the puzzle aspect. It's like the reverse escape room for your penis. Mm-hmm.

Yeah. Why couldn't we just be born with ballistic penises to deal with labyrinthine duck vaginas? Yeah, exactly. Like in the movie, ballistic penis is X-penis versus sever penis. I Thought you were gonna say why couldn't we just be born with condoms I can think of one problem with that. Yeah

Anyway, so this is the flop house obviously It's a movie podcast normally. It's about bad movies. We talk about them But in all right this episode into your garbage We talked about penis is the flop house could be a title for a penis podcast. Yeah, true So we do two of those or three depending on how many the Saturdays are in a month What do you call them main episodes a month but on the off weeks we do these minis which are kind of a little you know uh... a snack to tide you over between uh... those episodes and tonight i'm in the driver's seat

uh... which means cancel ride as the games, the cancel ride. As. Watch out, Nux is driving again. Oh boy, we're going right into the storm. As is usually the case when I'm in the driver's seat, I have to vise a little game for us. Oh shit.

Let me just hold on. And you just see Jigsaw scrolling through his phone, find the email that was in. I'm like, he's not even in his email app. He's an Instagram right now. Yeah. Well, okay. So Dan, so you're your modern day Jigsaw in a 20th century world and you've got a game for us. Yeah, and the premise of the game is so, we often like to dig up out of our memories, movies that have left no cultural footprints, movies that people have forgotten, our friends over at Blank Check like to call them movies

that don't exist, which I think is a good way to define them. So my game is going to be this, call them movies that don't exist, which I think is a good way to define them. So my game is going to be this. I am going to alternate giving you guys the title of a movie that has left little to know sort of lasting footprint in the cultural imagination. And if you're able to tell me anything about this movie, you will get a point. Now, for the purposes of this game, anything about this movie will be defined these ways,

not literally anything, but if you were able to tell me. It was your word, Dan. You're the one who said anything, and now you're telling us we were wrong. If you're able to tell me the director of this film, if you're able to tell me one of the top three listed cast members on IMDB, or if you're able to give me a reasonably accurate description of the movie's basic premise, any of these three things will be acceptable to get you a point. Okay Dan, are there style points? That's a good question. Are there style points? I mean it is a podcast that

we're doing for entertainment so the style will be appreciated by the audience but it will get you know points from me. Like the last game, if someone is unable to give any information about the movie, the other player will have a chance to steal. Is there a sound effect? Wouldn't you do a steal? They do these are actual movies even though they call the movies that don't exist. What does? What is it? They do exist. They do. These are actual movies. Even though they call them movies that don't exist. They do exist. They have not captured the cultural imagination. This movie is from 2009 and its title is Beyond a Reasonable Doubt. Can you tell me anything about beyond a reasonable doubt?

I mean, my guess is it's a remake of the Fritz Lang movie beyond a reasonable doubt. And in that case, maybe you can give me a plot summary. That someone has been in that one, I can give you the the Fritz Langwan, someone has been unjustly accused of a crime, but it's actually a plot that they've put together so that they can commit a murder and get off from it. Well, you found a loophole in this game. Elliot, you do get a point for that because it is, in fact, a remake of that movie, this version starred Michael Douglas and was directed by Peter Himes. Oh, really?

Journey Man director. Yeah, from Capricorn 1, right? Yeah. Okay, so that's one for Elliott Stewart. Your... Oh, man, this is going to be rough. Your movie is Being human can you tell me anything about being human?

This is a movie that came out in In 1994 Two hours two minutes long. Yes is is Robin Williams in that shit? Robin Williams is a big human. Nice. I was hoping you wouldn't get it because that's the only thing I know about it too. That is the only thing I would know about that movie. I watched this movie. So growing up my cousin Barbie worked, she was the manager of a movie theater in like Windot or something. some like... The Being Human Theater. And well, because she got occasionally got like to go to pre-screenings of movies,

you know, that they're like auditioning them or some shit for the local movie theaters. And so she, one day to just keep me busy because I was like, what, 14 at the time, time 13 she just had me go watch a bunch of movies So I watched the two movies I watched back to back were PCU followed by being human Oh man, it was basically the same experience Yeah, all this is yeah, it's a if PC is the next one, I'm sorry if I blow up your spot, Dan. And being human's based on a one-man show, right?

That would make sense. Is it, all I know about it is that Robin Williams is pincibly looking out onto the ocean on the cover of it. And I never, I never rented it. I walked by it several times in the video place. I know that it got terrible reviews. You know, maybe it's not based on a one-man show. Maybe I just thought that because it's like

one person doing multiple parts, right? So I kind of remember that. It's kind of a blur. I feel like it would assume it would have something to do with robots because with a title like that, but that's Fiesentennial man. Yeah, that's Fiesentennial man, yeah. Okay.

I think, did you probably want to say to voice for Disney's robots? It wasn't Disney that moved. It's blue, I think Blue Sky. Or or sky yeah, I think you're right. Anyway, um, yeah, being human part of the craze the short live craze for titles that are gerunds Or have gerunds of them. Okay Back to Elliot changeling. Can you tell me anything about?

Oh, yeah, Angelina Jolie, changeling, her kid gets kidnapped and no one believes her. Sure. Yeah. Clint East would directed it. Uh, wow. He was written by J. Michael's Trisinski, possibly Jeffrey Donovan's in that Elliot knows so much about changeling. Yeah. Hey, we're going to tell you it made a big impact on me. Sorry. Sorry, blank check. No, they picked that movie. No, no, no, these are movies that I just, yeah, I could have, I could have, honestly,

I could have gone deeper with this. I wanted, I wanted, well, I mean, since it's to say movies that made no cultural impact, there's a hundred years of movies. Exactly.
