On today's episode of the Fulmboroski podcast, we're a week out of the drafts.
Look at some undrafted free agent signings.
Someone announced their retirement.
Another three-year 50-mill extendo.
And an old vet returning to an old team.
This is the Fulmurski podcast.
It may not have always showed it in the stat sheet, but you can see him making
throws when he needs to make the throws.
Back-to-back games where he has three touchdowns.
Someone's got to get that six.
He's an elite wide receiver as a rookie.
Truly a lose-lose scenario for both sides.
Welcome to the Fulmarisky podcast by Power 8018 Radio in Secret Weapon Consulting.
We got CJ, we got Tuck, we got myself Chris for you today.
How are we feeling so far?
How's everyone's week going?
Going all right.
Can't complain?
All right.
I like it.
I like it.
I can't complain either.
Let's look at some undrafted free agent signings that we've had so far since the draft.
It's always fun to see who ends up getting picked up afterwards.
Big names, not so big names.
So we'll just start out with the biggest name.
Diego Pavia picked up by the Ravens.
I thought you were going to continue.
I thought you were going to continue.
I didn't think it would just go straight to me.
I just go straight to you, man.
I mean, I am the resident Ravens fan.
I'm like, okay, that was interesting when it hit my, when it hit my notifications.
I was like, really?
We're getting him?
Well, I understand why, but I don't think it's going to be anything significant.
He has a lot to prove, and I think he likes the opportunity to prove it,
but I'm not sure how far he'll go, considering we have Lamar and then Tyler Huntley,
and then maybe he might be the third backup.
up like he'll be the third string quarterback but I'm not sure how far he'll actually go but
this gives him an opportunity to prove himself to see if he's an actual NFL level quarterback
yeah jj so didn't the ravens also get another quarterback as well
because it wasn't just pavia it was somebody else i think so but i can't recall uh come on
you got to i believe in you man i don't know off the top of my head i know it's
him and
to my knowledge, it's only
him right now with the
with
cornerbags,
a center,
and an offensive tackle,
including La Darius Webb Jr.
I'm liking that.
I like that.
But no quarterback at this moment in time.
Because I could have sworn
the Ravens picked up somebody else.
But as far as
a,
um,
all right,
hold up.
I'm looking.
it on Ravens.com. Ravens
pick up two on draft
Evia and oh Joe
Fadano from Yukon.
Joe Ficknano?
Oh, that's a pickup.
That's a good pickup.
What?
He only had like one interception
the last two seasons,
two interceptions, something like that?
Something to that effect, yeah.
In terms of...
In terms of...
It might not even be the best
in...
In terms of really shitty
college schools,
this is the best,
the best right here.
So here's the problem,
Chuck.
I'll,
I just,
you know,
you'll let Diego Pavia and Fagnano
banal it out for QB3,
which fair.
I mean,
maybe Pavia makes it,
maybe he doesn't.
I want to see,
you know,
I want to see like some preseason action from him,
you know,
I'm sure if he sucks or balls out in training camp,
the media will be all over it because he's got that perennial chip on his shoulder.
And while some people would say his future is owning a chain of car dealerships,
which I can totally see, I mean, now credit to him for keeping his head held high and not given up.
But once again, being sub 510, that just means he's got an uphill battle.
I think he's the shortest quarterback to enter the league since like Doug Flutie.
therefore
I don't know
I'm not liking his chances
I mean honestly
Fagnano
Fagnano's probably
more pro
ready if that makes sense
he doesn't have Pavia's explosive ability
but Pavia's game translates more to college
I agree
which is why I find this so fascinating
if he can somehow translate or adjust
to the NFL.
It will be interesting to see what he does,
but the height is the obvious concern
and the attitude concerns is there as well.
But, hey, if the Ravens managed to turn this
from an undrafted free agent to a draftic,
I'm happy.
I'm happy.
Anything else in terms of Fabia?
Yeah, not really.
I mean, good luck to him, honestly.
I know he wasn't a prospect I really liked.
I didn't even have him in my top 10,
but if his first quarterbacks go.
But you know, good luck.
Yeah, I mean, you know, I mentioned this on the last show too.
You know, it's always interesting when you get like a guy like Diego Pavia who was second in Heism
voting.
He turned around in Vanderbilt from a dog shit SEC football program to being damn near top 10 in the country.
Like, that's impressive in its own right.
The issues are the issues, of course.
But we'll see how it ends up playing.
out. And of course, you know, he's going to get a lot of media attention, uh, during training
camping throughout the summer just because of how much of a polarizing athlete he already is.
Also, uh, as far as quarterbacks go, Georgia Tech's Haynes King signed with the Panthers.
I was just about to mention Haynes King.
Sorry.
It's okay. I'm glad we're on the same page. I don't mind that. I mean, obviously, at Bryce
young, but not bad. Haines King, I think, is, it's not bad to have as a backup. He did very good over at
Georgia Tech. I mean, those Georgia Tech teams, granted, you know, rivalry, but those Georgia Tech
teams last couple of years have been given Georgia a fuck ton of hell. That's for sure. No, that's true.
There are actually some really good guys that were, ended up as UDFAs. For example, the Raiders
signed the Indiana running back Roman Hemby.
The chief signed Iowa safety Xavier, I believe it's pronounced Nwankpa,
where I'm not, I was shocked both of them didn't get drafted.
Speaking of people that I was surprised didn't get drafted,
uh,
uh,
what does they call it?
The lions got the USC edge rusher Anthony Lucas and the Texas A&M linebacker,
Tehran York just signed with Denver,
which I thought he was going to get drafted.
Same thing with the Baylor tight end,
Michael Trigg.
I thought he was going to get drafted too.
Yeah, there are some gems.
Like this is a real, I'm not going to lie to you.
This is a real gem alert we got going on here.
Also, the Cleveland Browns, who drafted tackle Spencer Fano,
got UDFA Logan Fano, his brother at Edros.
Okay.
You can learn from Miles Garrett.
That would be fun.
I like that.
Well, not for offenses, but, you know.
Also, Utah linebacker Lander Barton went entirely undrafted.
And for reference, I had them in like my top 10, as far as linebackers went.
And the Chargers picked him up.
maybe the steel right there
potentially
some other notable names
mentioned the Raiders
the Raiders picked up a kicker
Konsei Matsuzawa
nicknamed the Tokyo Toe
That's hard
That's hard
Also someone else picked up a kicker
The kid from Florida
Trey smack the third.
I heard that.
Now, that's the name.
That is.
Look, tell me,
Trey, smack the third.
You know,
in a field goal being three points,
tell me that's not the greatest
kicker name ever,
other than,
than,
I don't know,
Mr. Fuel goal or whatever.
I don't know.
Also, speaking of a kicker,
the New York Giants
picked up the Michigan star kicker,
Dominic Zavada.
Yeah.
We picked up a punner, so I'm happy.
Also, the Eagles got the Bama linebacker, Deante Lawson.
I'm looking at all these UDFA signings, and there are some genuine gems, like Tampa Buccaneers
grabbing the Georgia Tech wide out Eric Rivers.
So what the, wow.
And, you know, when I look at some of the guys that were drafted, I say, really?
You took them over these people?
Okay, you know, whatever floats your boat, I suppose.
They just drafted them differently or saw a different grade.
Yeah.
You know, maybe, I don't know.
Look, I know that saying about how ownership or managers that listen to the fans always end up sitting with them.
And for the most part, I think we can all agree.
But when there are some teams, Niners, Jaguars, that just don't listen to any consensus from the fans, from the analysts,
from anything, you know, maybe you should get off your high horse, is all I'm saying.
Texans also, they picked up Oregon running back, Noel Whittington.
Oh, that's going to be huge too.
You know, they need all the running backs they can get.
I mean, they got, they had Woody marks, they got Dave Montgomery.
But yeah, let Whittington fight for a spot.
He was so fun at Oregon.
Chiefs picked up E.J. Smith, the son of Emmett Smith.
I'm back at Texas A&M.
Yeah, I was shocked.
I mean, I don't know.
Maybe it's just because we get so obsessed with, like, the lineage.
We forget to look at how they are as a player.
I mean, you know, Shador Sanders, Marvin Harrison, Jr.,
the entire Notre Dame team.
Have you seen that?
Have you seen, like, everyone who's on Notre Dame?
You got Larry Fitzgerald's kid, Jerome Bettis's kid,
Michael Finley's kid, Thomas Davis, Sr.'s kid.
And I think there might be, like, one more.
Maybe you don't remember, but I'm looking at all these people.
I'm like, God damn.
Legacy is over there.
Bears picked up Louisville quarterback Miller Moss.
Jaguars picked up Joey Aguilar out of Tennessee.
Here's a fun one for wrestling fans.
Tennessee picked up Brock Reksteiner out of Jacksonville State.
son of W.W.
Hall of Famer Scott Steyer.
Oh, yeah.
And the,
uh,
the,
his photo at Jacksonville State is him
with the World Heavyweight title belt and wearing like his,
uh,
wearing his dad's old like, uh,
I don't know, it's like the
metal thing.
What?
Yeah.
Is it the wrestling thing?
Yeah.
Whatever like the,
uh,
shady war over his head,
like the metal,
like the stuff that you would see.
like medieval night's wear.
Okay.
Ever in my life if I watched
WWE.
So you're all on your own.
That's good.
He might just join his brother in
WWE too because Braun Breaker's over there.
Yeah.
Not a bad idea.
Seems to be the
pathway for some guys
that played football or just
had a little spin in the NFL.
Let's try out wrestling.
The Rock did it, right?
The Rock, Roman Reigns.
Did Brock Lesnar do it?
I feel like he did.
Well, Brock Lesnar went.
He was a NCAA wrestler.
He was a college wrestler, two-time national champ,
and then he went to WWE.
And then he tried out for the Minnesota Vikings,
which he obviously didn't make the team.
Yeah.
And then he went to UFC.
I don't know what that means, but I'll take your word for it.
I just said, what I don't know.
I just laid out, like, the entire timeline of Brock Lesnar.
What do you mean?
He's a great athlete.
Like, it's ridiculous.
I don't believe you.
I just, you know, I've never, okay, well, I understand what it means.
I just, I don't know.
It means he didn't play in the NFL first.
That's what it means.
Okay, there.
Illinois quarterback Luke Altmeier went to Detroit,
on Kansas quarterback, Jalen Daniels went to Tampa Bay.
Are we doing all the undrafted quarterbacks here?
No, I'm just, honestly, I was kind of just looking at the CBS Sports Post that they made whatever a couple days ago.
So yeah.
I feel Jaylon Daniels might see the field, not as a quarterback, but I know a lot of teams want to use them as a Swiss Army knife.
Yes.
Yeah, they're trying to.
Jason Hill.
I did hear that as well.
I think he's just going to be Taysam Hill.
That's my thing.
And I think that's a good option for him.
Yeah, why not?
If he says no, I'm a quarterback.
Okay.
Then he says, no, I'm a quarterback.
I can't prove it.
I mean, I can't prevent it.
I mean, I just, I don't know.
You got to keep all your options open.
Did Taysam Hill say that?
No.
I'm pretty sure Taysam Hill actually said he's a quarterback,
but then he didn't have much of a choice
because that's the only way he was actually getting out on the field.
Yeah, and that could happen again.
You never know.
Well, no disrespect to,
to Dailin Daniels, but, you know,
he can do a lot of stuff.
He can, he's so talented at a lot of different stuff.
I mean, why limit yourself?
Yeah.
To be fair, Tasing Hill did try to be the quarterback of the Saints.
It just didn't work.
Yeah.
Anything else regarding undrafted free agents?
No.
No.
All right.
To move on, Justin Simmons a couple days ago,
announced his retirement,
10 years.
in the NFL and he retires at the age of 32.
Widely considered a lock for the Broncos Ring of Honor, Ring of Fame, four times.
Sorry?
Oh, Tuck said yes, and I said absolutely.
Yep.
Four times, second team all pro honor.
30 career interceptions.
And yeah, you also retired as a Bronco.
There's much deserved.
I mean, his success came as a Broncos player, so yeah, I understand why he would retire as a Bronco.
Much deserved.
One of the best safeties in the league for, I want to say, like the last five, like the last decade,
I think that's fair.
He was one of the better safeties, and I just thought sometimes he didn't get the credit he deserved
when playing in that Broncos defense.
No, he never needed.
Since he was drafted in 2016, he was second interceptions with 32 behind.
Not Marcus Peters?
I don't know.
No, it's not Marcus Peter.
Jalen Ramsey?
Safety.
Safety.
Oh, safety.
Oh, safety.
Oh, oh, Minka?
No.
No.
What year is a safety drafted?
Is it?
2016.
He says since 2016.
Oh.
I mean, I don't know if this guy was also drafted in 2016, but.
He said since Kevin B.R.?
Yep.
Oh, yeah.
Good poll.
Okay, I was about to say, I know, I know this.
I'm like, come on now.
Yeah.
He never got, uh, you didn't get a lot.
I mean, he only has two Pro Bowl selections.
And even though, even that one year in 2022, where he led the league with six interceptions
across only 12 games.
He didn't even get a Pro Bowl nod.
Who got it over him?
I don't know.
But someone who wasn't leading the league in interceptions, I'll tell you that much.
It might have been deserved, but again, they probably thought he was injured,
so he probably didn't think much of it.
Safety's Buda Baker.
Well, no, that's the NFC.
Minka Fitzpatrick and Jordan, Port.
That's who got it.
Minko, you could probably argue,
Poir, you should not.
Yeah, fair enough.
They would have been tough, but maybe because of injuries,
they probably held it against them.
But, yeah, six interceptions in 12 games.
Every other game he's getting an interception.
Not bad.
Yep, but very underrated.
Super talented.
Gay Patrick Mahomes fit.
Where would you guys put Justin Simmons in terms of potential Hall of Fame?
No.
Yeah.
He is by far first ballot Hall of Very Good.
Yeah.
No, I agree.
I agree.
I mean, I'm just honored.
Yes.
Hall of Fame, no.
Yeah.
Yeah, he's definitely, obviously, one of the best safeties for, like, our era.
But in terms of all time, definitely.
on up there. What about, what about, what about Broncos'
safeties of all time? He's happy to be in Atwater.
He's, I think he's better than T.J. Ward.
Yeah. Yeah, I would say that. It would have to be him and Atwater
as safety one and two, no?
Probably. Over Lynch?
Oh, yeah. I forgot.
I might, but maybe long,
isn't Lynch more known for his time in Tampa or my flip-flip?
know he's he's yeah lynch was more of a tampa guy so i could see him i could see simmons being over
lynch because of that i only even consider lynch like as a bronco though i'd still more or less
consider the broncos yeah but not as long as he he's not known for being on the broncos though
fair again i i'm just throwing up there but i think simmons is what second over before atwater so
yeah like he spent four
four years in Denver compared to
11 in Tampa.
Yeah, I think it's
Adwater Simmons,
Mike Hardin when he was with the Broncos,
and then maybe in Lynch.
Now, granted, I will give you that John Lynch.
Somewhere in there.
I'll give you this.
John Lynch was a pro baller every year that he's in Denver.
Huh.
So.
It's weird now.
but I mean looking at like what Denver did in those years that John Lunge was there I mean
mid yeah like he only had like he had three interceptions uh three interceptions nine passes defended
uh he had one fumble recovery seven sacks yeah he wasn't known for his like like picking the ball off
ability. He was known for his hits, so I'm fine with that.
Yeah.
Also, if I really wanted to be nasty, I would have brought up Brian Dawkins,
but that would have been, that would have been very, very dissimilar, very nasty.
But yeah, Simmons is second in Broncos' safety hierarchy.
So I think he goes in the ring of honor, but not in the Hall of Fame.
Yeah.
All right. Anything else regarding Justin Simmons?
No.
All right.
I'm going to step aside for a break.
we come back, we're going to get into another three year, $50 million extendo from the Texans.
And Clayus Campbell returning to Baltimore.
This is the Fulmeroski podcast.
It may not have always showed it in the stat sheet, but you can see him making throws when he needs to make the throws.
Back-to-back games where he has three touchdowns.
Someone's got to get that six or seven spot.
He's an elite wide receiver as a rookie.
Truly a lose-lose scenario for both sides.
Yesterday or Wednesday,
Aziz al-Shayir received a three-year $54 million extension with the Houston Texans.
And this deal marks another extension for Houston this offseason,
specifically on the defensive side of the ball.
He got Will Anderson to a historic three-year, $150 million extension a couple weeks ago,
made him the highest non-paid quarterback ever.
DeNeil Hunter got a one-year, $40 million deal as well.
So they're trying to restack the defense for a run here
and hoping that this team's going to be ran essentially off the defense
and hoping to God that the offense can do something afterwards.
But either way, I mean, not a bad idea.
Thoughts from you guys.
I like it. I think he deserved the extension for his play on the field. And I thought this defense just maintained something. Plus the additions they made in the draft on defense, somehow getting Caden McDonald, geez, is only going to make that running defense even more impregnable. That pass rush is going to be effective. That defense, that might be one of the best defenses of all time if it plays out the way it's supposed to. And that,
offense, all it needs to do is score 17 to 20 points. If they can do that, they actually might
win games because I'm looking at like the team itself. Derek Stenley and Kamari Lasseter
book in corners. Will Anderson, Daniel Hunter, book in, book in pass rushers. They have
Caden McDonald on one side. They have they have pieces, man. They just,
They just have pieces all over that defense.
And then they re-sign Aziz Al Shire to a three-year extension.
It's like, I'm forgetting the safety.
Jalen Petrie, he's still there?
Yes, he is.
They're going to be a problem.
And people need to understand that.
And all the offense does, needs to do is protect C.J. Stroud,
which hopefully they do with the draft picks that they got.
Now, you can argue what they're.
they are willing to do with Kalin Rutledge. We didn't like the pick when it first happened,
but, A, they addressed it a concern. And if, A, if he pans out, it's all up to C.J. Stroud
to do well. If he does not do well this season with the additions they have, you might have
to look forward to another quarterback, even though it seems preposterous. If he continues to
play it the way he's playing right now instead of how he was playing his rookie season,
You might have to look elsewhere, which is unfortunate.
But this extension helps the Texans, I think, claim the AFC self-title this year.
I think they'll claim the AFC self-title just by the defense alone.
But how far they go is completely dependent on C.J. Strout.
This is a good addition, but I need to see what the offense looks like.
Yeah, I mean, and I guess this contract is just showing their faith in Al-Shahir as well.
I mean, at his first Pro Bowl season this year was the play caller for the defense as well
and calling his own plays when it was in hurry up mode.
So, I mean, this is basically the Texans repaying, repaying him, essentially for the extra work that he's done.
Now, granted, he does have a bit of a reputation.
But, I mean, it seems that it's kind of.
come and gone considering that the Texans have
gave
nominated him as the Texans
representative for the Walter
Peyton Man of the Year award
this past season. I'm not sure if it's
gone, but that definitely helps.
Oh yeah, definitely helps.
I definitely wouldn't say it's gone, that's for sure.
I still think of Al-Shaire as a bit of a cheap shot
himself, but yeah.
What do you think,
CJ?
Oh my God.
I think he's very
good. I can't even lie to you.
I do believe he's very good.
But good,
but he's got to
get his head screwed on, right?
And I guess the problem with him, I hate
the self-pity he did. Remember
when he posted that thing with the
joker, he's like, oh, I guess I'll be the villain now, right? Remember that? And it was like the
cheesiest, corneous, lamest thing ever. And then an off-season, like, oh, my God, people are so
mean to me. Everybody treats me like a monster. It's like, well, you're essentially just
perfect wearing a Texan series. That's the issue. Like, remember that? I just found that so weird.
So that's why a lot of people don't like him. I mean, he's very good. But if he cleaned up
exact and he stopped taking cheap hits and yeah then i think it will be fine and the defense itself
is already scary and it continues to be scary but like tuck said if the offense can be even
average like middle of the pack anywhere from 17 to 14 range then then you're golden honest to god
you're golden.
And even if you keep C.J. Stroud upright, do you trust him to make the right decision?
Because the Texans, you know, this is another all-in move.
You know, they got Will Anderson back.
They got Aziz al-Shayor back.
They've loaded up that defense, and they know that defense can carry them,
kind of like, you know, the 85 bears or the 2,000 ravens.
You know, it's something like that where, I think they're going to be expecting the defense
to carry, but the offense just has to show some signs of life.
I mean, because we saw what happens when it didn't, right?
I mean, let's be real.
The defense, let's talk about the playoffs, right?
The defense bailed them out against Pittsburgh.
The defense itself single-handedly outscored Pittsburgh.
Yeah, that's impressive.
And against New England, which has a better offense than Pittsburgh does.
was, yeah, it didn't happen.
Because when you're in what should be a shootout,
like it was the only time that entire season
where that defense surrendered three touchdowns
to a quarterback.
And the thing is, look, like I said,
the defense is scary,
but every so often you're going to have games
like the 20, 25, 26, AFC divisional round
where maybe one day,
there's just a quarterback who's just, like I said, like Drake May,
who's just slinging it all over you.
And then you as the offense, when your crutch,
aka the defense is gone, you have to keep pace.
And you, and you obviously remember that New England defense had C.J.
Stroud in hell.
Oh, yeah, I remember.
They were, like, baiting him into some of the worst throws that I've seen.
Although one of them was iffy, but the others,
oh, yeah, those are totally his fault.
So, but I don't know.
I just, C.J. Stroud, the fact that fellow first rounder, the guy who went one pick after you, Will Anderson, got the extension before you, is a warning shot that Houston does not trust you.
Now, credit where it's due, he did show enough to get his fifth year option picked up. So the way I see it, he has two more years. He has to show something. And C.J. Stroud, regain that form you had your rookie year. Please do not make Houston.
regret this because once again
you can't waste a defense that
could potentially be historic.
Yep.
Anything else?
No.
What's that echo?
Yeah, I'm trying to figure that as well.
Who is it?
Probably me because that's just how it always is.
Well, now I'm not hearing it.
I don't know.
It's gone.
That's all matters.
All right.
Clay's Campbell.
set to return for his 19th season in the NFL
and coming back to the Baltimore Ravens on a one-year deal.
Talk how we feel.
About bringing back a 40-year-old.
Don't say it like that.
I'm happy.
He's biffing back.
He still has a little bit of juice.
I'm not saying he's what he once was in Baltimore or what he once was in Arizona or in Jacksonville.
But I'm saying,
happy with it. I just need him to play a few plays a game to show me he's still got those
flashes left. As long as he still has a little bit of those flashes and he can play BN,
I'm fine with it. I feel like this is destiny. He needed to have one more go around with the Ravens.
We wanted him back. We didn't want him to leave in the first place. I'm glad he's back.
Let's go win that Lombardi. Help us win that Lombardi. Help us win that Lombardy, Kalaez.
Now, I'm not sure if we're going to win it, but it feels.
is nice to know that Colias is in Baltimore again.
It's nice to know that we have a Walter Pagan man of the year back on the team.
Good in the community, good with the teammates, just good all around.
I'm happy he's back.
He's a vet.
That's all you're looking for.
Yep.
C.J. anything to add?
You know, good for him, I guess.
This is probably his last dance, although it seems like we've been saying it for so long forever.
but yeah, no, he sticks around.
You know, it's like that meme.
Hey, Unks still got it.
I mean, last season with the Dolphins, he did have six and a half sacks.
Yep.
So, you know, once again, just I can't hate.
I can't.
No.
You know, like I said, Ung still got it.
Unk still got it.
Here's the question, though.
When he retires, is he going to the Hall of Fame?
because across 18 years, he has 960 tackles, he has 117 sacks, also three interceptions, that's kind of cool.
And, but only one, right, no, no, no, he has 18 forced fumbles and 13 fumble recoveries, as well as 65 passes batted.
The problem is the accolades.
He's only a one-time first team all pro, three-time second-team all-pro.
though, six-time pro bowler as well.
The thing is, it's about year by year.
When you look at his stats there, right?
He only has two seasons of double-digit sacks.
And this might be another thing where it's like a Frank Gore scenario, you know,
or an Eli Manning scenario where they are stuffing the stat sheet
but that's more so due to longevity more so than actual individual dominant seasons.
I don't need someone to be dominant.
I just need someone to be consistent.
Like if he's consistently doing the job you ask of him,
which he's consistently doing, some years he overachieves and gets into those double digits,
sometimes he doesn't.
But as long as he's still a good run defender, which he is,
as long as he can get pressures here or there,
and as long as he can get a few sacks to keep the,
quarterback honest or keep the guards and tackles honest, I'm fine with it. I think he will get in.
He's not a first ballot hall of favor, no, but I think he'll eventually get in just based off the
stats. And if he wins a Super Bowl, then I think, yes, I think it'll be a clear yes if he wins for me.
I mean, just looking at the pro football reference Hall of Fame tracker right now, he's,
for his Hall of Fame meter, he is two points behind Dwight Franey.
He's 11 back of Richard Seymour.
He's a hair back of Howie Long, Dan Hampton.
He's got a higher meter than Jared Allen.
Hmm.
For what it's worth, I do think he should be in.
I was just wondering.
Yeah, no, I think he should be in.
I think the one, only one AP first team all pro might be a little,
maybe a little alarming, but just the fact that he's been doing it at a high level for so long.
I think is
considerable in its own right.
So I'm not going to hold it against him.
Longevity,
but he's still doing it at a high enough level
for teams that still want his services.
He has over 100 career sex.
I think if he just had more like team success,
it wouldn't be a question.
Oh, yeah, 100%.
I read shit.
Dude went to a Super Bowl and
lost because,
or no,
no, he wasn't part of that,
Falconsstein.
Never mind.
made some deep playoff runs with some teams like the Saxonville's years.
Yes.
Or in that 2015 Cardinals team.
Yep.
Yep.
But then they got squashed by the Panthers.
Yeah.
It's unfortunate.
Bad timing is all.
Yeah.
All right.
That's all the schedule content that we have for you today.
Anything else on you guys' mind?
Do you want to do an emaculate grid?
I thought we were doing the emaculate grid.
Oh, you think we're not going to do it?
do Immaculate Great Commission.
Oh, there we.
Oh, the Ravens and Cardinals, speaking of Callais Campbell.
I was going to say Trace McSorley.
Trace McSorley.
Wait, but did he play for both?
Yes.
Well, they actually play a snap.
He played for the Ravens, I'm sure.
Okay.
We got to believe in Mr. Throat on a dime himself.
Come on.
Trace McSoree.
Bang.
Two percent.
Throw it on a dime.
I didn't know he actually playing in Arizona.
I had a feeling, but I wasn't sure.
No, I knew he was on Arizona.
I just didn't know if he actually played a snap or not.
That's what I was thinking.
Ah, man.
A cardinal and a saint.
I feel like Adrian Peterson would be very, very obvious.
Yes.
Would it, though, because he ended up being on a fuck ton of teams.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
Remember, we tried this.
It was a cardinal, and I think like a lion,
and I said Adrian and Peterson.
in it.
Yes.
And it was like almost 30%.
See, I don't trust that.
I don't trust that.
I don't.
I don't.
We want to knock out
these 10,000 career passing yards.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Would Josh McCallumpey one?
No, I don't know.
Career, yes.
A career,
but I think it's with that team.
That's,
there is as the kids stand.
The buck.
Did Bart's star?
Bart Starr do that?
Had to have. He was there long enough.
There's literally
only like three quarterbacks
you can choose for the Packers.
For the Rams.
Obviously, Kurt Warner,
Jared Goff and all them.
Chris Everett's got to
Jim Everett. Sorry, I pulled a Jim Rome there.
Jim Everett's up there. Norm Van
Brockland.
St. Bradford.
Yeah, but did Sam Bradford?
He might just be on the edge.
What about, uh,
Ryan Fitzpatrick, no.
What about,
remember that guy from, uh,
way back,
uh,
Bulger.
Oh,
Mark Bulger?
Yeah,
but not way back.
I think he's like early 2000s.
Yeah,
he's in his team,
and classes Brady.
Yeah,
that's the crazy part.
4%.
That's 14.
Oh, four, yeah.
Sorry, I was looking at first.
Parts guard's 14, yeah.
All right.
So we might have to go back to like, what, Jim Hart or something like that?
Jim, Jake Plummer?
Jake Plummer, yeah.
I thought Kurt Warner, but I was like, did he play long enough?
No, I don't think he did.
Coulart.
Too obvious.
What about, okay, Kyler's.
No, he's obvious.
Like I said, Jim Hart, he's an old.
one. They had that dude in the 80s. Wait, wait, wait, wait, Brian Hoyer. No, he did not play long
enough, I'm telling you. Not for the Cardinals. What about, no, I don't think McCown did.
Would you consider Neil Lomax? Is he too obvious? Because he was there QB for a while in the 80s.
Just a thought. I don't even know who that is.
just put in the last name Lomax
Neil
well yeah that's him
Should we want to run with it
We're running at 3%
Oh nice because I remember he was there for a while
So I didn't know
But it was also far back enough
So
I was just looking up
Josh McCown's numbers
Just for the fuck of it
And
It's good thing we didn't go with him
Because he only got 5,000 yards
With Arizona
I do
Obviously
Obviously he reached like 17
thousand in his career though.
Totally.
Saints and Cardinals
of Terran Matthew, I think, but he's obvious.
Yeah, he's definitely most obvious.
What about
how obvious would Ted Ginn be?
I feel like not obvious enough
to not go with him.
Do you want to?
I think, unless you can think of someone else.
I got no one else.
I mean, either.
2%.
Oh, really? Huh.
like that.
These motherfuckers
forgetting about who Ted Ginn was, man.
Electric or Turner,
second to Devin Hester.
Facts.
Giree Alexander,
Packers, Ravens.
Tuck, this is your wheelhouse.
I thought Zedarius
Smith, but I felt like that was too
obvious. I was thinking
Tim Williams, but I'm not sure if he played a
down in Green Bay.
I do have one
for Green Bay Saints.
Okay.
Patriots legend
Ty Montgomery.
Mm, yes.
Well, he also played for the Ravens.
Patriots legend,
Ty Montgomery.
Oh, which one do we want to use it for?
The Saints of the Ravens.
You can use it for the Saints.
3%.
Nice.
All right.
So what did you say, Tuck?
I said it's a Darius Smith.
Yes.
That's right.
I'm supposed to say, Williams.
Is it, though?
Wait, who else did you say, Tuck?
I said Tim Williams, but I'm not positive he played for the Packers.
Like, I know he was there, but I'm not sure he played it down.
Not Ted.
Tim.
Chris, you're in baseball mode, not Ted Williams.
What about, uh, um...
Yeah, Tim Williams only playing three years could be a bit of a stretch here.
Because he left in 2019 and then went to the Packer.
but I'm not sure if he actually played it down.
Yeah, that's too risky right there.
What about, uh,
uh, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait just a minute.
Talk.
What?
I know Sammy Watkins was on the Ravens, and I know, and I believe he was on the Packers for a hot second.
did he play a snap for Green Bay?
I don't think he, I feel like it wasn't on the Packers.
No, I know, no, because I remember Baltimore was his final team.
And I do remember him playing at least a snap for him.
But was he on the Packers before?
No, no, no, he was, I don't know.
Maybe, maybe I don't know.
But I know he was, Green Bay came before, after, do we want to go there?
I'm not going to lie to you.
I'm not 100%.
I'm fine with it, but that's just...
I'll go with it. Why not?
Because I don't know.
I was thinking of like, I'm scared receivers.
I thought about Clemson legend, but do we want to...
I mean, I feel like it's hard to be like, yeah, there's no shot.
You played on the Ravens, right?
Yeah, he played on the Ravens.
That's no doubt.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean...
No, he bounced around the league for a bit, and I'm pretty sure he's on the Packers to end his career.
I don't know.
Yeah.
No, say what you want about Sammy Watkins, but he was getting snaps for regardless of where we...
he was going.
Yeah.
All right.
Sammy Watkins.
15%.
Oh, sorry.
I tried.
All right.
Rams saints.
Or Ravens, Rams.
Talk, do you want to knock out the Ravens?
I was going to be petty and say Michael Brockers, but that didn't happen.
That didn't.
You just did?
No, no, don't type that.
That didn't happen.
We didn't trade him.
Yeah.
We didn't get that trade done for him because we reneged on his.
physical.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, you guys have a history of that, don't you?
Yes.
So I wasn't surprised, but I was like,
what's in his physical that made us do that?
All right.
There's not many Rams.
All right,
I have an obvious one for the Rams Saints.
Remember Jared Cook?
It's obvious.
Yeah, the tight end.
Yeah, is that obvious or I feel like it is?
Because the only other one I can think of,
of his Patriots legend Michael Holman-Awanui.
I know he was with the Rams before the Patriots,
and then I know he went to the Saints after,
because we lost him after winning the Super Bowl.
Let's go with who, man.
Did he?
0.4%.
The disrespect.
The disrespect.
All right, talk.
Ravens, Rams.
I'm trying to see where they intersect,
but damn, that's difficult.
What about, uh,
did you all have Marcus Peters in one point?
Yes, we did.
But I felt like that was too obvious.
Did you guys ever have John Johnson the third?
Oh, Gilman?
Aloie Gilman.
Well, no, no, no.
Gilman was on the Chargers, though.
Chargers, yes.
Sorry, L.A.
I keep saying.
Oh, Tuck.
What are we going to do here?
Kenny Young.
Oh, 0.5.
Nice.
We did good.
Very nice.
It could have been better.
It could have been better.
Tyron Matthew is most obvious.
Kurt Warner, Rogers, Stafford, OBJ, Jair, Alexander, most obvious for Packers Ravens.
D. Hop, Brandon Cooks, Jimmy Graham.
Solid for us.
I think we did really well.
Well, it's the one people struggle with the most.
Packers, Ravens.
Yep.
And Saints Cardinals, 67%.
Oh, you're a scream.
Just, I knew he couldn't.
I knew he couldn't.
I saw it.
I was hoping he wouldn't.
Why would you hope for that?
I was hoping he wouldn't.
Yeah.
He did.
He did, and now we all hurt.
Good job, boys.
Anything else we need to talk about?
I'm good on my end.
I'll live.
Yeah, I got nothing else really.
All right.
