On today's episode of the Fumleruski podcast, Week 18 is here, and we got some division titles on the line. Bucks, Panthers at 4.30 on Saturday, and then the 49ers and Seahawks on Saturday night. Sunday night football sees the Ravens and the Steelers. Johnson Tucker is going to have a lot to talk about today. This is the Fulmaruski podcast. It may not have always showed it in the stat sheet,

but you can see him making three. throws when he needs to make the throws. Back-to-back games where he has three touchdowns. Someone's got to get that six or seven spot. You just didn't watch, you're not a Stranger Things guy as well?

Not really, no. Fair enough. I'm not. I just, I've never watched us regular episode that I don't plan to ever. That's okay. There's college football playoffs on. That's what I care about. No, that too. Right now I have Bama, Indiana, the Rose Bowl on, and Indiana might be going to the semis

boys, but. This is draft implications, friends. Fernando, Mendoza. Hey, we were talking about it on Tuesday, Fernando Mendoza. Right now, I'm projected to be the number one overall pick. If you look at some mock drafts. And right now, the one that's holding that number one slide is the Vegas Raiders. So we'll see how this plays out.

All right. Let's get into week 18. Bruske game of the week this week sees the Saturday night matchup, 49ers and the Seahawks. The winner clinches the NFC West title and the number one seed in the NFC. 49ers lose and the Rams win there's a then the Rams get the five seed right that's what we're talking about on Tuesday uh yeah yes um seeawks lose they just get the five seat as well so a lot of different pieces of the puzzle that are moving around for uh that could

potentially move around depending on specific scenarios of course the ram still need to beat the Cardinals this week. But looking at this game in particular, Seahawks favored by one and a half points on the road against San Francisco. And really, it comes down to if Sam Donald's going to show up. The defense is going to show up. Defense is going to show up. But is Sam Donald going to show up?

He hasn't the two games that we saw him in this time last year, literally this time last year, two of the worst games he had ever played it. He set out since joining the Vikings. So far, some big games this year for Sam Darnold with the Seahawks. One game didn't look great. Another game played probably 50 minutes of some really bad football, but then played 10 minutes of the best football he's ever played.

Maybe those 10 minutes were the tide that needed to turn, and maybe we see Sam Darnold out here like Prime Brady all of a sudden. But I think that, I think if you put that little, little, itty-bitty tidbit in into your brain, you may be able to convince yourself to pick Seattle. But we've seen too many times about Sam Darnold. But I'll leave it to you guys. What are we thinking for this week?

We're thinking the Niners and Brock Purdy, clenching the NFC West out of the depths of hell or the Seahawks and the glorious story of Sam Darnold riding off continuing in the Wild West. Is it at Seattle, right? It's at San Fran. Oh, my. This is like 2019 all over again, season. Oh, yeah.

That game was insane, too. So good. One play almost since. And the 49 is from the first seat to the fifth seat and having to face Philly. By half a yard. By half a yard. Yes. Yeah.

Great Greenlaw made the play of his life that day. That was a great game. And this one has the makings to be just as good, if not better. Yeah. The amount of talent on the field. I really do believe that Sam Donald will finally exercise these demons and play the way Sam Donald has been playing the whole season. I believe that he will be able to win this game.

I think it'll be close. I don't think it'll be easy, but I think he'll do just enough, aka just passed it at JSN, and do well enough to get them within, to get them within reason and then win the game ultimately. I think Sam Donald is good enough now to do it. I just need him to prove it consistently.

I think the 49ers defense is going to show up. I think it's going to be rough and rugged, but I think the 49ers will lose this game, and I think Seattle will be ultimately winning this game. Do we want to do scores here or no? Nah, we don't need to do scores. But I got Seattle won in this one. Close, though.

CJ? Oh. I see. Well, the way I view it is this. these are two teams with a lot to prove first the sea hawks you know you grab sam darnold you get them at market ray you know you get them from the vikings and it's loki a glorified one-year deal because if this year if he sucked this year they had an out um you have a lot of young guys you know you got kenneth walker charbonnet smith and jigbo tight n a j barner yeah you thought oh hey maybe

they could go to the wild car maybe they can but no no no after upsetting the ram you the rams you have a shot to get the one seed and the niners this is nothing new you know who they were but they got pillaged in the off season players fleeing for other teams left and right and then stop me if you've heard this one before the injury bug hit them again because kyle shanahan refuses to change change how he practices, or how they practice, which directly causes injuries, but we don't have to get into that, this episode. And, well, they fought back. Brock Purdy, slowly but surely, has been killing that system QB narrative. No, Debo Samuel, no Brandon Ayyuk, a bank Christian McCaffrey running on fumes, a banged up George Kittle, and he says, you know what?

I'm going to throw the ball to Jake Conjus. I'm going to throw the ball to Joanne Jennings. And it's working. And these are two teams that were living in the shadow of the Rams forever. And both of them could finish above the Rams. Better yet, they could get the division. Better yet, they could get the one seed. And I'm going with the Niners.

I don't care what the people say I don't care what the reasoning is I'm going with my gut and my gut says the Niners Brock Purdy has been playing with house money back to back gains with five touchdowns their total the defense I mean sometimes they

I mean they've been struggling but when it matters most because you know injuries and such But when it matters most, they get a stop. They still have some good players up there, like Texas rookie Alfred Collins, and a pretty darn good corner, Diomador-Lanora as well, and Tatum Bethune as well,

really underrated the linebacker. They just have that dog mentality. And the fact that's in San Fran, we're about to see how well those 12s, or about to see how well they traveled, because they took down the bears. and I think that game where, you know, we call them the cardiac bears, because, you know, like they can't win convincingly.

They always have to wait to the end for a comeback, right? You know, they always take the hard way. But the Niners stopped them. And that made me say, okay, hold on now. This Niners team is legit, you know? That's really what sold it for me is that it was going to be another bear's comeback. And the Niners said, no, clutched up at the very end. forced Caleb Williams to do things himself.

And yeah, no, absolutely not. You know, you got to respect that. They outlast them until the very end. And my concern for the Seahawks is, I'm sure you've seen how Sam Darnold starts these games, how he starts them so slow. They start out just really, really sluggish, and then they wake up in the second half.

You know what? just happened against Carolina as well. And it happened against the Rams before that. And you can do that against, also I don't know what's going on with the Rams, though. The Rams seem to be, I don't say falling apart, but they're sputtering right now. Well, let's save the rats for a while we get that. Oh, no, I'm getting there. No, I'm getting there.

The Rams are sputtering right now. And you can get away with that against the Panthers. But can you get away with that in? in San Fran or Santa Clara where they technically play. Can you get away with that against Brock Purdy playing with House Money? No, you can't. Give me the Niners. George Kittle missed last week against the Bears.

He was limited in practice on Wednesday. They're fully expecting him to play. Interesting news about Fred Warner. I don't know if you guys were aware of this. Depending on how the 49ers are able to do, and if they're able to make a deep playoff run, And we could see Fred Warner back in action. Uh-oh.

Possible. Possible. Very possible. On that on the Niners side, Pierce all still dealing with the ankle-slache-kney thing right now. But I would expect he would play in his own right. But I'm going to take the Seahawks here. They have been road warriors all season long, 7-1 on the road.

And their one road loss was, again, against the Los Angeles Rams 2119. Other than that, they've been pretty damn good on the road. So, yeah, I'm going to go with, I'm going to go verbatim on what Tuck said. I think he, I think Sam Darnold smashes his demons this weekend.

I certainly hope so, because I don't want to be talking about ghost on Monday. Yeah, I know, I know. Like, I, like, we've got to a point where it's like, come on, Please, please, give me something. Give me something to work with here. He almost had me on Thursday night against the Rams, but he pulled through in the end. But he almost got me.

Before we take a break, we'll stay with the Saturday slate here. Bucks, Panthers going on right before the Seahawks' 49ers game kicks off. This game will be at 4.30. Bucks are three-point favorites at home against the Panthers, the winner. well, the winner technically clinches the NFC South title, but that really depends on if the Saints and the Falcons game. It really comes down to that game. If the Panthers win, well, they win the title, that's it.

If the Bucks win, they need the Saints to beat the Falcons. Other than that, Falcons beat the Saints. Panthers are NFC South champs. It does matter which way. But the loser, say the Saints beat the Falcons, Bucks, win, Panthers miss the playoffs, and then the other way around, of course. It's very much a not a great scenario for Tampa Day. Boy, it's sad to see how far they've, like,

especially those first five. weeks of the season right they're just they're just nails right pulling out these huge wins they were they were the cardiac bucks for the cardiac beers were really getting those close wins and then it all fell apart just all fell apart including of course bad loss against uh Miami last week oh panthers have been sputtering themselves though like we You know, C.J. just said it. Panthers have been weird all season long. Last week, you were like, oh, you know what? Maybe the Panthers get an upset against Seattle.

Seven point underdogs at home, why not? But no, they end up losing big against Seattle. They lost by 17. Which way do we even go on this? I don't know. Overrunners 43 and a half. CJ, I mean, it's, I feel like we have to go with experience on this, no? in the experience

I don't know I don't know that's the only that's the only angle I can get at at this point like that's literally the only I've been like even even my take

I picked the Panthers to beat the Seahawks last week right and my only my only takeaway is oh there's seven point underdogs at home just take the Panthers because that's that's all you have at this point

yeah I suppose but I just I don't know these are two teams that I don't trust and it sucks I mean at least for the Panthers no bucks because I like Baker Mayfield I like everyone on their team it's just look I know that they're injured to hell and back but the fact that their defense has completely fallen off a cliff their offense can't get any rhythm going. The fact that they, you know, just the fact that they are continually underperforming, this makes me think they're just trying to skid into the offseason where they

can make some changes. If I am Jason Licht or whatever his name is, or Chris Lichter for his name, the GM of the Bucks, I'm sitting Todd Bulls down and I'm saying, look, buddy, you're coaching for your job, right? That's what I want to say is, like, you're coaching for your job. If we do not make the playoffs, we are jettisoning you into the bay. And you know that I'm not a huge fan of Todd Bowles as a coach. I just, you know, it's weird that the supposed defensive mastermind's defense is among the worst in the league.

And I know the offense is hurt, but I'm starting to wonder if he was. was a Canales and Cohen merchant because now that he doesn't have a good offensive coordinator to replace them, they've been getting exposed in real time. Like I said, I like Baker. I think there's a playroom in this league. And I know Baker's playing hurt, but that game against the dolphins really spooked me. It did. I am spooked. I'm scared. I'm terrified. All the words you could use to describe as disturbed. They made Quinn Ewers look good. And for that, give me the panthers i just by the way i know i know we don't do school we're not doing score predictions but i think this is just going to be an ugly game i can see this game really

being like 1714 like just low scoring slugfest type of game where just it's going to be a defensive like grind it out like sit on the ball kind of game talk oh my god this this is this is this is the battle of mid right now because in the one hand you have the bucks and you see the potential but they're just injured to hell and back and then baker's not playing to the best of his abilities right now i don't know if he's injured i don't know if the communication is off i don't know if the chemistry is off i just know he's not shaking bake baker mayfield right now and that defense is that defense. I don't even want to talk about it because they're middle of the pack at best at times.

And then you have the Panthers who all things considered, they should be able to win this game. This is one of the games where you're like, okay, they have all the tools. They have a solid enough offense to do it and a very good defense to pull it off. But then they'll lose games that they have no business losing, like to the New Orleans Saints. And it's like, why do you do this to me? I want to pick you, but I don't think you're there yet. I don't believe in you just yet. Even though I believe you have the capabilities of that defense,

I'm not sure consistently on offense. You guys are there. So, unfortunately, I think I have to pick the bucks to win this game. I think the bucks will do just enough to win this game. I'm thinking like 23 to 20. I know that the Panthers got a win over them earlier, like two weeks ago, but this is not the same. This is more like a playoff game.

And I think Bryce Young's inexperience will show, and I think Baker will be able to pull off this win. So I got the Bucs winning this one, but this is just going to be horrible to watch, in my opinion. Yeah. I'm going to go with the Bucks, too. I think experience is going to take over on Saturday. The Saturday propel the bucks to victory, but Saints still got to get the job done.

That's the only thing. After that, nothing else matters. But, all right. As our Saturday slate, we're going to take a quick break when we come back. We'll get into the Sunday slate for Week 18. And that's the Falcons and the Saints.

Falcons, three and a half point favorites at home over under's 44 and a half. Tuck. Do the Saints keep the bucks alive? or do the Falcons send him home? For some reason, I'm just thinking that regardless of what happens this game, that it's when I lose with the Panthers and Bucks. I didn't know that the Saints and Falcons game actually had playoff implications for that game. Oh, yeah.

Unbelievably, this actually might be an entertaining game. I like the way the Saints are looking right down. The Falcons look. pretty damn good on defense and kirk cousins is playing out of his mind right now so i think the falcons will win i think the saints will lose cj oh my god i just what even is the nfcc south at this point you know you know you know what i mean, Chris? Yeah, I'm aware.

I just, I don't know. Once again, the entire NFC South, just when they play each other, flip a coin, I'm going with the Saints. Give me Tyler Shuck. That's all I got. Just we, we, we, all three of us believe in Shuckmania. We is a very strong word. What are you speaking?

We! And I'm not playing, and I'm not talking about Nintendo. I'm not speaking French. I mean we. W.E. We. I believe. We are shucking it.

You guys playing the NFC next year? no maybe actually might be it's a possibility we haven't gotten our schedule yet but i think we actually might be i can't wait for you to get shucked if that's the case i just can't wait for my defense supposedly to be good and then unexpectedly give up 31 points to shuck and just be pissed off the rest of the week yeah maybe see get rid of Zach or that won't happen we don't know that yet we'll see we'll see we're too far ahead and i'm not even sure if we'll face the same next year

let's see what happens it's a possibility all right um let's get to the next game cincinnati and cleveland the only real storyline from this game is uh will miles garrett break the single season sack record that's will joe borough ask for a trade yeah or that too um I don't know if you guys saw the press conference that Burrow just had, though, talking about the potential that he would be the quarterback to be sacked to break the record. And Burrow was like, well, you know, we're not going to game plan to try to avoid having the record broken on us. Like certain teams. Well, you know.

Yeah. In terms of tank thought, this game matters in terms of Tankathon, too. Cleveland, currently in the 6th spot in the 2006 NFL draft. A win and a Washington loss would just bump them up to seven. There's no real change in that. But it should be interesting to see how this plays out. But Bengals, 7.5 point favorites at home,

over under 44.5. What do we think? Depends on which version of Shador we get. If Shador actually plays like he should. should like first drive shador sanders first and second drive shador sanders we're in business and i think cleveland can win but if he plays like the second half shador they lose abysmally so because i don't know what i'm getting from sador right now i'm it's like i'm picking the bangle i don't care who wins but i think the bengals should win this game all things considered

I'm sorry I'm just responding to sound for all of these, but that's just how I feel at this point in the year. You know, I'm going to go chaos mode here. Give me the Bengals. I mean, give me the Browns, yes. I like Miles Garrett breaking the sack record, although him doing it in 17 games is going to have a lot of people saying it gets an asterisk.

so by the way actually i said we talked about it at a later date well guess what it's a later date right now just let's go around the table yes or no like don't explain yes or no no i'm breaks a single season sack record the team does it get an asterisk no no the internet i i'm in agreement with you let me just say i don't think it should but the internet and the and the weirdos in their basement disagree. However, what? It's T.J. Wait, who has the sack record again?

T.J. Watt and Lawrence Taylor, 22 and a half. T.J. Watt got it in like, I think T.J. Watt like missed a game, though. So he did it in 17 or 16. So there's, so some people are saying that Garrett breaks it this week, then it took them an extra week. Then maybe it gets an asterisk. So me personally, I don't think so.

I just think it's cool regardless to see a record broken, but that's just me. Yeah. I'll go with the Browns just for the chaos. Also, more so that Bengals' defense is just atrocious. Yeah. And I think it's going to be the Bengals are going to be up. They're going to maybe trade some scores, maybe not a lot, but it's going to be like 20 to 17 at one point, and then the Bengals,

offense finally collapses and Joe Burrow stops having fun and the Browns win or something to that effect. Yeah. And, yeah, and Bengals, I think, you got to fire Zach Taylor, right?

You can fire both head coaches for that matter. Yeah. Yeah, Stefansky is too. I just, I low-key feel like Stefansky's getting a raw deal. Look, two-time coach of the year and I know it's like, oh, he was only one one playoff game and that was in the COVID year. But consider this.

He had Diddy Watson foisted upon him. They gave him stupid, fully guaranteed albatross contract. They said, here you go. Stefansky, who had a good relationship with Baker Mayfield. Not hearing it. Not hearing it. Okay, cool. I'm not asking you to hear it.

Cover your ears. Like, I'm just saying if anyone should be fired, it's their fuck-ass GM. Andrew Barry was the problem. He gave him that contract. Yes, he fucking is. The only reason you're okay with that, with even negotiating that is if you're okay to get a word of Baker. The coach has to be an agreement to get rid of Baker.

That's the only way Deshaun gets to Cleveland. Really, really? Yes. Are you entirely certain that an owner is ridiculous and childish as Jimmy Haslam isn't going to pull some executive override? That's comedy. If you're saying I want a child, I mean, I want an adult at quarterback and your guy is Deshawn Watson, you have to be in agreement as a coach to get away with that. No, no, I understand, but he was against giving Watson all that money.

I'm not saying he didn't want Watson, but like he and Baker, I mean, they didn't have that bad of a relationship. The whole adult thing, that was overblown. And what I will tell you is, like, the fact that this was done, it was going to happen with or without him. Like, that, that's the thing. They moved on from Baker, despite the fact that we can all agree, though, Baker got screwed over. He literally played that entire season with, what, a torn rotator cup, a torn labrum or something in his shoulder. And they decided you're not good, which, that's some evil shit from Cleveland. But now, like, the GM has to go to, because if he really thinks the Paniske's there,

to get fired. I find it interesting how you haven't at all addressed my point about the GM who gave him that contract. I'm not sure how I feel about Andrew Barry because on the one hand, he'll make decisions like get like Deshaun Watson, like Amari Cooper, who actually has been good for that team, but on the other hand, he'll make stupid decisions like drafting two quarterbacks. I don't know how that happens, but it is what it is. No, I'll agree on that.

I think Andrew Barry has made like good moves. moves, but on the contrary, there has been some devastating. I know every GM makes mistakes, but I feel like to call the Deshawn Watson thing a mistake or a bad move, that's a bit of an understatement, don't you think? That's a franchise killer. That was a Brown's, like, fledgling team. They'd already won a playoff game at Baker. They almost knocked out Kansas City before some Chad Henney nonsense.

and now we're just looking at like, oh, well, just kidding, here's Deshaun Watson now. And it completely ruined everything. So my point is, let's just say, you don't like the fancy thing he's Erasbee fire, even though I do think he's getting a small bit of a raw deal. Because I don't think he's a bad coach. I genuinely don't. And as X's and those go, I think he's very good. But I'm just saying, like, if they both have to go, like you can't, if,

If you really want to get rid of Stefansky for all that, then it would only, it's only logical that Barry goes to. What if I told you that maybe we're just at the end of the line on Stefansky? No, I don't believe it. I genuinely think he needs to change of scenery.

Yeah. Like I, but two things can be true once. Is he getting a raw deal? Yeah, yeah. Should he get out? Does he need to be somewhere else?

Yeah. You know, honestly. I wouldn't hate him in Tampa There we go now We're not to make it Now we're grinding Yep now Now we're talking

No No no I know you like to hyperfixate on Oh he made that adult comment once But like Are we just going to ignore how it didn't work in Cleveland Why even put him in that position Why put him in that?

I don't know probably because Haslam wanted him gone because Haslam is literally just Jerry Jones with no success. Jerry Jones as a GM is Jimmy Haslam with a Gucci Bell. That's just the way things are. I'm just the messenger. Jimmy Haslam is like another meddling egotistical bum who just is stuck in Cleveland and hasn't won anything. Like personality-wise and decision-making wise, he's literally just Jerry Jones.

Fair enough. I think we're just going to agree to disagree on this. Okay, or how about this? Maybe not, maybe not Tampa, right? Maybe not Tampa. What about Miami? That's a better choice. You know, I'm just saying, no, we just, you got to consider it.

Let's put a pin in it for now and come back to this later because we got a lot of other meaningless games that we've got to get to. One more thing, Philly O.C. Worst case, Nair, Philly O.C. If they get rid of Petulos. Yes, that would be the optimal place. forgetting about Mike McDaniel. All right.

Minnesota. Oh, no. Allegedly he saved his job, which is some, which is horseshit of the highest order, but we'll deal with that whenever we deal with that. Yeah. I'm turning this game off. This is bullshit. Yeah.

College of a throw another one. Yeah. It's 23 nothing, uh, Indiana. Oh, yeah. This is, this game is just, man. Goddington, Mendoza. And Vikings Green Bay, Vikings are seven-and-a-point favorites at home against the Packers. And, I mean, for good reason, the Packers may as well just rest everybody.

And is that what they're doing? Are they actually? They should. Are the Packers resting their starters this week? Because, I mean, yes, the Packers are resting key. several key starters, including Jordan Love. Yeah, I missed that. Clay in tune is going to be getting the start at quarterback.

So, I mean, A, for good reason, because the Packers aren't moving out of the seventh spot. Yeah, no matter what they do, they're stuck at seventh. And Jordan Love is right now recovering from a concussion. So, yeah, don't put them in harm's way right now. Yeah. If Minnesota wins and Colts Loo, lose, which is more than likely to happen, then Minnesota gets bumped up to the 18th pick and Colts, which would be then given to the Jets pick, or their pick would be given to the Jets,

would be go to the 17th spot. Sorry, my dad's probably yelling at the dog right now if you could hear him. So that's, in terms of what could be. at stake outside of playoffs, then I guess that's what's at stake right there. So be honest, they might just be able stick with nine.

They might as well stick with him. The only thing I care about is if Justin Jefferson gets what, 60, 70 yards, because if he gets that much, he should be a thousand yard receiver. And if he pulls this off, with the quarterback play he's been getting, top three receiver. I don't care what the stat say. He is a top three

receiver still i would have just given him top three anyways i would have just given him top three anyways 53 yards is what you're looking for though tuck 53 if he can give me 53 yards we're cooking are they going to throw him the ball no is he going to get it probably not but i'd like to see it that's the only thing but i got i got who cares i got the viking's winning this one i'm going to go vikings as well see jack once again just uh give me the vikings man that's all just these games and for for spoiler context i said this to crisp before the show started uh we're not posting a pick up this pick um this week for the sole reason of these games are just weird.

Like players, like, yeah, people being benched left and right, starters not playing. Teams that should be wiping the floor with other teams in jeopardy of losing because they might not play their starters. You know, teams trying to play spoiler and pulling out all the stops instead of tanking and rolling over and dying like you should. Players becoming rogue agents because they're playing for their next deal instead of actually playing on a team.

Coach is doing anything they can to save their job. but it's just throw it at the wall, man, you know. Yeah. But yeah, I'm going with the Vikings because why not? Why not? Giants versus Cowboys. Giants are three and a half point underdogs at home. Over Under's 50 and a half.

Texans, we predicted them to beat the Colts, which is more than likely going to happen.

They'll hold at the five spot, no matter what. And, of course, that goes if the Jaguars beat the Titans, which is also most likely going to happen. Bill's Jets, who we got? Oh, gee, what? Gee, what? Gee, Wilker. Oh, what?

What are the choices? The bills should win this one pretty handedly. I don't see them losing this one, not one bit. The Jets are tanking, and I don't see them wanting to win this game outside of pride, but I don't think they're skilled enough to win this game at this moment in time. I got the Jets winning this one pretty hand. I mean, the Bills winning this one pretty handedly. Bills.

Brady Cook was a good college quarterback, and that's all I can say about them. True. is true um it seems that the bills are asking for help shoveling out the stadium as it seems like it's going to be a little bit of snow on sunday a couple of morning flurry otherwise mostly cloudy but um sounds like it's going to be uh mostly cloudy with a little snow overnight's little or no accumulation but i'm pretty sure it's snowed there pretty good uh earlier this week i know that much so see how that plays out next game on the list when i get there uh bears and lions bears are three point favorites at home over under is 50 and a half for this one um in terms of this

game uh bears need a win to hold the two spot uh if the eagles win well if the Eagles win and the Bears lose then the Eagles take the two spot Bears all they have to do is win that's that's all it is it's an interesting thing here right like what's the line that you cross if you're Chicago

where you pull the starters because the last time these two teams played it was a blood back Bloodbath for Detroit on Chicago, of course. Detroit might be looking to go out with a bang. What's the line that you pull here? When I think of this, I think this is going to be actually very competitive

because I think that Detroit, just how they're built and how they're made, they're not just going to hand it over to Chicago. They're going to have to earn this victory. Since this game is in Chicago, I think Chicago is going to win this one. I think it's going to be, not convincingly, I think it's going to be pretty close, but I think we're going to see what Caleb Williams is made of. I think he's going to have the ball last, and I think he'll deliver unlike he did on Sunday night. I think the bears are going to win this one and maintain the two-seat.

C.J. I like the lions with an upset. Oh. Only because they're out and I think they're going to go out swinging. Like that once again, look, honestly, for the lions, I think it would be wiser to roll over and die. You know, just say, hey, what about my pick? But honestly, that doesn't seem like a thing Dan Campbell would care about. So as I think to myself, what would happen, I got to realize, you know,

I think Chicago is going to play hard, but they're also in that weird window where they don't want to lose seating, right? So I think Detroit might catch them playing a little careful, and I think Detroit's going to win. I like it. I like it. I think I like the Bears this week just to finish the job and get their comeuppance from week two. and Chicago has been humming. That offense has been on a different level these recent weeks.

We saw what they did against the Niners, saw what they've been doing for countless weeks now at a time. We've seen what, like, I think that they, what they did to the Niners last week, they'll be able to do against Detroit this week. Because Detroit's defense has been, once again, killed by the injury buck. Next game on the list, the Broncos against the Chargers, Broncos by 12 and a half.

This is the Broncos. It's just the Broncos because the Chargers are benching everybody. And Trey Lance started for the Chargers this week. Oh. So, and we got that, we got that news pretty quickly on Monday as well. That's really interesting. Yeah, it's a lot adds a new wrinkle to consider with how they've got to run their offense. I'm just joking.

Give me the Broncos. They want that one seed. Yeah, and with that being said, we're kind of starting to see a little bit more now of what the playoff picture is going to look like come Monday. So Chargers, most likely going to lose this game, drop to the seventh seat as we're talking about. Sorry, sorry. All right, guys.

But anyways, Chargers at that point will go to play the, Patriots in Foxborough with Bills, we'll go to play the Jaguars or maybe the Texans and then the Steelers play either the Jaguars or the Texans or maybe it's the Ravens. I don't know. We'll see. But yeah. Next game on the list, Raiders and Chiefs. Raiders are five and a half point underdogs at home against Kansas City. Over under is 36 and a half. half. Well, it's going to be 15 point underdogs because they're not winning. No.

They're not winning. I don't think they want to win. I wouldn't want to win. They've already put guys on the IR that probably aren't even supposed to be on the IR. Yeah. Mm-hmm. I saw Kansas City winning. Honestly, I can see the Raiders going to Chrysselotica and all them and saying,

you are not going to out suck us pause whoa that's what they'll say that's what they're going to say like that they're going to say yeah you know that uh that meme from south park or the two baseball teams are like hey i don't want to win no well we don't want to win either that's kind of how it's gonna shake out but the kent city chiefs could do a lot of things better than the raiders suck it ain't one of them pause again so yeah i think the raiders they're going to secure the tank and get that first overall pick. They're going to lose.

But by doing so, they'll win the Tankathon. Well, at least Alabama's not scoreless anymore. Chiefs win. Travis Kelsey scores a touchdown. Nothing more, nothing less. I think they're going to aggressively feed him in the ball. Chiefs are going to win this one. They have to.

They just have to. yeah um but yeah i was going to say one other thing about this game but oh yeah well yeah we mentioned Travis galscy i mean lord knows this is probably his final game ever and a chiefs uniform who knows all right let's make that prediction right now

i think it is he's not saying we anymore he's saying the chiefs i think he knows his time is like coming to an end i think this is right off into the sunset I think they're going to get the win strictly for him because I don't think he'll be coming back next season unless they talk him into it. Rans Cardinals, Rams are seven and a half point favorites at home against Arizona over under's 46 and a half. If you're the Rams, you're probably loving the fact that you got,

you get to watch the Niners and Seahawks beat the shit out of each other on Saturday night to then figure out what you're going to do for Sunday. Because we've said it before, I mean, if they lose, they don't move. If the Niners lose, then they can move up to the five seed with a win. So if the Seahawks lose this game, I may be inclined to pick the Cardinals. But for now, give me the Rams. I'm picking the Rams.

I don't see the Cardinals winning this one. Anyhow, regardless of any other team wins or loses. I think the runs just flat out win. I just really don't think the Rams I mean the Cardinals have the horses to compete with the Rams even if they want to play spoiler so honestly I'm still going with the Rams If the Cardinals were to win this game

Then their draft order If we were to consider Cleveland and Washington to lose They would be bumped up to seven Yeah can't be doing that No you cannot Speaking of Washington, they're playing the Eagles. Four and a half point underdogs at home are the four and a half point favorites at home are the Eagles. So, you know, this game going on right as the Bears game is going along.

Give me the Eagles. Washington's defense is old and shit. This whole team is old. Yeah. They just need to fucking figure something out. I don't know. They need draft picks, to be honest. Yeah.

in boston sports media this week um both being uh assault charges not going to go into the details just because i don't have them completely in front of me right now but in terms of what the NFL PR what the patriots have said you know it's they've known about it they're or they're aware of it. And, you know, there's no wrongdoing right now, or at least, you know, innocent until proven guilty. They're still just going based off of that. No one's losing the eligibility to play this week. But we'll see how this ends up playing out for the playoffs. There's some talk about the commissioner's exemplarist, but that just seems a little far-fetched. I mean, we're not talking about it is. We're not talking about like a Ray Rice case here. I mean, maybe maybe we are.

So my point is that doesn't allow the commissioner's exempt list, but this does. Once again, innocent until proven guilty. I just, this scene, this is coming out at a really interesting time. Notice it came out after he made his bonus. But of course, I would retract everything if it turns out they actually did it. Once again, innocent until proven guilty, we can only go off what we know. outside none of our business but in football we don't want them to have anything I think Lamar Jackson is going to play better than what he did the last time we faced the Steelers because I think he's healthier now so I think he'll put all the naysayers and all the things said about him to rest this game I think he's going to come out with a purpose come out with the drive, with the hunger to win this game. I think we're going to claim the four seed. I think the Steelers are still reeling from last week when they lost to Cleveland. I think they'll come in unprepared, not to the sense where they're woefully unprepared,

but they're underestimating the physicality the ratings will bring. And I think that will be the difference between us and them, and I think we'll win the game in the end. I have confidence in us to do it. But if we're out by two scores in the fourth quarter, I'll be a little nervous. I'm not going to lie to you. I'll still be a little nervous. But hopefully we don't give the game away.

I think we are more than capable of winning this game. But I got the Ravens, obviously. You know, you mentioned Lamar. He's playing this week. There's no darnel Washington for the Steelers anymore, unfortunately, for him injury, put on IR on Wednesday. So unfortunate. So unfortunate.
