Starting point is 00:00:00 I wish Jeff Bezos would make a course, right, so we could actually learn from him. Welcome to the game where we talk about how to get more customers, how to make more per customer, and how to keep them longer than the many failures and lessons we have learned along the way. I hope you enjoy and subscribe. Have you ever wanted a course that you couldn't afford a $10,000 or a $25,000 mastermind or a $1,000, you know, a course or a seminar or anything like that, right? Or wondered like, man, I wish somebody, I wish Jeff Bezos would make a course, right, so we could actually learn from him. So I took a lot of that in considerations for those who don't know me. My name's Alex Formosia.
Starting point is 00:00:33 I own acquisition.com, which is a portfolio company that has $85 million a year in revenue. And just so you guys know, my entire raison d'est, right? My reason of being is to recreate the middle class in America. And the way that I want to do that is through education. Because I think the education right now, the entire college system, I think has failed most of us. And has saddled an entire generation with debt and has given them no value in exchange for their money. that they cannot even bankrupt themselves bankrupt themselves out of, which I think is ridiculous. But that being said, something has to be done for it.
Starting point is 00:01:06 And the reason all these gurus have exploded, right, on the internet, rightfully and unrightfully so, is because the demand for work and the demand for value and the demand for skill acquisition is always going to be there. And the question is, who can fulfill that need? And so I'm very proud to announce that as Acquisition.com, we've created a course and released our first book, which is about creating offers, which is the very, the fundamental way that you can create and make money is by selling someone something. And so before I can get into the skill of sales, before I can get into the skill of generating leads, which we've been able to do
Starting point is 00:01:43 across all of our entities, we have six companies that we own. The only way to do that, right, is to have an offer, right? Something that you can literally exchange and provide from, in exchange for money, right, a product. And so the first book will make making your product and selling that product significantly easier. All right. The second book and training course that goes along with it is run lead generation. The third is around money models, which is actually kind of the monetization structures that you'd use in your business so you can maximize profit. All right, the fourth and fifth book are going to be around sales. Sales is the actual, the one-on-one conversation, and the fifth book will be on sales teams. All right, so actually how to structure your team and
Starting point is 00:02:21 scale yourself so that multiple people can sell on your behalf and you can scale your business. the sixth book will be on how to increase lifetime value or lifetime gross profit for customer. There's six different ways that we've done that across all of our companies and we use a very structured format for doing so. And there's a lot more. There's more books and more courses that will come after that, but that's just kind of a taste of what is coming. And if you're, if you're wondering, like why am I, you know, why are we doing this? Why are we taking the time to do this? Well, first off, our company's cash flow our lives. I don't, I don't need to sell courses. I don't need to sell more coaching. I don't need to sell more masterminds or anything like that.
Starting point is 00:02:53 I genuinely just want more people to not have to suffer like we did for the first five, six years of our lives. And I've spent up at this point $750,000 on mentorships and coaching and masterminds and all that kind of stuff. And my goal is to provide you all the learnings and the application of those things in our companies as we have scaled them to you for free or at cost, right? And so I'm very, very proud to announce the first course is live. It's Acquisition.com. You don't have to opt in or anything like that. It's just a very, There's just there. You can just watch it and consume it and there's downloads and checklists that you can use automatically to make more money in your business and ultimately scale it and provide more value to your customers, which is why most people don't actually make money is that the thing that they sell isn't even that good. Right?
Starting point is 00:03:36 So, so I'll show you exactly how we've structured the offers that we have so we can create products that are attractive and that people want to buy, that people find a way to pay for, right? And I'll show you how to price in a premium market. So how you can charge more and you can differentiate yourself and how to pick the right niche and all of those things that are important before we even get to the same. selling aspect, right? And many people try to start selling and can't and don't see the success or not as much success as they want. And if you're a bigger business, right, how to start new product lines and new revenue categories within your existing business, all right? And so this is something that is a pure passion project for me. This is something I'm spending a lot of my time doing, is writing these books. So this is the first one, $100 million offers. At this time,
Starting point is 00:04:16 there's about a thousand books a day that are going out. And so we're, you know, they're 99 cents. All right, there's the, there's a digital form that's 99. I think the is just whatever the cost of this. I try to make these nice if you can if you to cover the cost of them. It's their their full color and everything inside. They're hard back. Um, there's also audio books which I can't set the price on. That's Amazon. So you can, you know, petition Jeffie B to, to make it free. I would. Um, but otherwise, that is what we are launching. That is why we are doing it. Um, I'd like to help as many entrepreneurs as humanly possible. Um, candidly just because I feel like very, I'm very fortunate. I was born in the United States. I was born in the United States. I was born in the
Starting point is 00:04:53 United States and I was born to a physician as a father. And because of that, I've been able to get a good education in terms of the fundamentals, in terms of reading, writing, math, all that kind of stuff. And, you know, my wife and I just signed our will, which donates our entire state, which right now is probably between $60 and $80 million, depending on who's valuing our equity slices. And it's going to charitable funds. And so
Starting point is 00:06:17 I say all this because there's no marginal utility to money for me right now, besides just having some sort of scoreboard, which is going to disappear when I die anyways. And so that is my goal. And candidly, it just makes me feel better. So that's why I'm doing it. So anyways, I love you all. Mosy Nation, you are why we do this. You are everything that we stand for.
