This week on the Glass Cannon Podcast...
We have waited longer to see an adult dragon than anyone who watched Game of Thrones.
At long last...
What in God's name is your plan for this?
One of the heroes...
Where is everybody standing? Who's opening the doors? Who's blowing the horn?
Will face the dragon fire.
Don't think I didn't think about it.
That would be Baron Redhorn.
Baron Ashby. The Highlight! I'm Umlu. I't think I didn't think about it. That would be Baron Redhorn. Baron Ashby.
Behind me!
I'm Umlu.
I'll bet you got more phone support.
But the flames may claim more than just one.
The adventure continues.
It's a Dragonfire!
Now. Hello, lords and ladies, and welcome to episode 127 of the Glass Cannon Podcast.
You know, people throw around the word humdinger a lot these days, I've noticed, and I hate to overuse it, but I really think that this week's episode is a real humdinger.
But before we get into it, it i got a little bit of
housekeeping to take care of first of all i want to say how excited we are to be going to pax
unplugged in november we are so so excited to do this to do our live show and to meet a bunch of
new fans hopefully and old friends very excited about that um i got to run my Roll20 game for our Patreon subscribers. $100
and up Patreon monthly subscribers.
I had an amazing time
doing that. I'd never
run a game on Roll20 and
the players were great. We just
had so much fun.
I did. I hope they did too.
And I do have one
tiny announcement to make. I have
finally chosen the adventure path that I will be running for my bonus content adventure path separate show.
And we're going to be taking a deep dive into the Atlantic Ocean.
We're going to be playing Ruins of Aslan.
I'm so excited about it.
I can't wait to get into it.
Hopefully we'll be able to start working on that very soon.
But in the meantime,
let's take a dive
into this week's episode.
See the segue.
Yeah, because we have a dragon to fight.
So let's get into episode 127.
And I apologize ahead of time
for getting a certain song
maybe stuck in your head all day.
Stop dragging my
heart around.
And we are
back!
Back! Are we going to see a dragon this week?
I don't know.
We are never going to see a
dragon. See, this is all Sir Will
not wanting to light the forge. That's why
this forge has not been lit. You're holding it up.
Had you not whined and
complained for 20 minutes of roleplay,
that forge had been lit. You'd have been on to book four.
We have waited longer to see an
adult dragon than anyone who watched
Game of Thrones.
This is true.
This is true. Oh, boy.
We just had a little powwow before
we started recording just to kind of
plot out a basic outline of what your plan is.
And honestly, I was listening to you guys talk, and I still don't know what your plan is.
Which is good.
So we can kind of go over this in the episode.
I mean, last week was pretty standard.
I mean, the combat dragged on a little bit because it was a war of attrition.
The Stone Giants trying to get closer while you guys pegged them off.
Then they got too close.
A couple misses from Nestor.
A couple misses, a fumble, arrow in the back of the head of Umlo.
And then the thing, Isis climbs up and literally almost murders Pembroke.
Were it not for Aram's clutch clericking.
He's a clutch cleric.
He's a clutch cleric. He's a clutch cleric.
That's what they say about him.
I think it was actually more Nestor killing it
before he was able to...
That's true. We won't give Aram any credit
for the 30 points of healing.
But hey, he's great.
He's a pretty good guy.
I've got to boost these new NPCs
since all the other ones are dead.
Whose fault is that?
Look at the size of this arena.
I mean, it's just enormous.
The fact that someone has to go all the way to the front to open these doors
and then someone else is going to blow a horn and maybe this is going to work.
Maybe it's not.
I mean, we'll see what you guys have in store.
Maybe this is going to work.
Maybe it's not.
I mean, we'll see what you guys have in store.
The last time you fought a dragon, it went terribly, terribly.
It just went terribly.
So what happened again?
In that fight, Della went down.
Della went down.
So Will almost did the coup de grace on her.
That's right.
But Della also crit the dragon.
Yes.
That was the only reason We survived that fight
Stood toe to toe
It was like 60 points of damage
Yeah
We were also split up
Because a bunch of us
Were like around
A wall of rubble
Yeah you ran into the fight
You ran and hid
Right it was
It was smart
Because you didn't know
When that brother
Who knows how that happened
I'm just saying
For whatever reason
Some of us were around
A corner
Well I'll tell you
I'm very excited to see how this is all going to
shake out I think everyone else
is very excited to see how
it's going to shake out but
except for Sir Will
you know a few weeks ago we started taking a look
into the minds of these
characters while they're all
about to face unknown
dangers unknown rituals characters while they're all about to face unknown dangers, unknown
rituals of religious significance.
We saw Nestor thinking about watching his mother
burning at the stake. His father looked on,
smiling. Della
reminisces on that moment when her mother was trying
to take her away and Della turned back and went to her father.
You see Sir Will being told
by his father that he's sent away to a school for special
halflings. His mother's not into it, but he thinks it's best for Sir Will.
He thinks it's best for the Keswick name. But we know Sir Will became a knight. So imagine, if you will, a
mountainous countryside, mountains in the distance. If you didn't know any better, you'd think maybe it was the Five Kings Mountains.
You zoom in and you see a young man with a beard that's much shorter than it is now.
Young, barren, red-heart.
Is he twirling a gun on his finger?
Sharpening it?
Drinking whiskey?
Nope.
He's kissing a young girl in like a little bushy canopy
hidden off in the woods.
He's smitten, totally in love.
The girl has this sort of resemblance to Ingerhild
red hair
kissed by fire
this beautiful
dwarven girl
and this is a baron that
we've never seen before
this sort of love in his eyes
and their canoodling and what not
and it flashes forward
and baron is in front of his mother and father and they're canoodling and whatnot. And it flashes forward,
and Baron is in front of his mother and father.
And it's not a happy conversation.
They're yelling at him, and Baron is pleading,
you don't understand, I love her, blah, blah, blah, blah.
And I'm going to do what I want,
with or without your consent. And Baron storms off. And the father,
big, big, thick, red
beard with bits of white
and gray in it. He's like,
I told you, he's more trouble than
he's worth.
And Baron runs
off through the woods,
back past that scene where
you saw him kissing that girl and goes
to this young girl's house.
You can't really see what they're talking about, but it's clear that he just wants to
take her and just wants to run away from it all.
Just wants to take her away from her life and get out of his life and go away with her.
But she doesn't want to.
Doesn't mean she doesn't love him, but
she is clearly in a very nice house,
not as nice as what Baron's family has,
and maybe she's more interested in comfort than love.
So she turns him down.
And Baron just hangs his head
and walks back to his life
as a simple gunsmith in training
with no power to pursue his desires.
No one, he thinks, cares for him.
Flushes forward and you see a sign for an apothecary.
Zooms down and Baron is inside this shop.
Purchasing a mysterious looking pouch.
The shopkeeper's a little wary about giving this to Baron,
but Baron is like, I'm going to have nightmares.
I just need it for sleep.
That's all, and he eventually gets it
and walks out of the building.
Later that night,
you see Baron and his parents sitting down for dinner.
It's very quiet.
Baron's got his head on his plate, just kind of looking up at his parents sitting down for dinner. It's very quiet. Baron's got his head in his
plate, just kind of looking up at his parents from time to time. And eventually, the mother
just face plants into her dish. And the father turns over to look at her and gets up to try
and hold her and ends up stumbling, falling out of his chair and falls to the floor, unconscious.
Baron gets up, looks over his mother and father asleep.
And goes onto his father's belt and pulls off a key.
Baron then walks out into the night,
over to the armory,
outfits himself,
boots,
and a very new-looking duster,
and then takes the Red Heart family pistol.
What?
Seems like he's taking
all of his father's possessions.
The duster was his, the boots
were his, and the gun was sure
his.
He's running away to make his own life.
As he walks out of his house, he
plucks the wide-brimmed hat from his father's unconscious head.
He says, you're right, Dad.
I owe a heap of trouble.
He darts into the night, looking back only to cast one last glance upon that young woman's house.
And then walks away.
You're going to say he burns it to the ground.
And then just shoots.
Judgment in Torah.
Holy shit.
Wow.
You killed your parents?
Or your foster parents?
Did he kill them?
I thought they were like beset by orcs.
This was a story.
It was all a lie.
It was all a lie.
They drug him.
Who knows?
Wow.
I won't pull back the curtain.
The book was by Grant Berger.
The music was by Troy Lundgren.
Music and lyrics.
Oh, man.
And now those same eyes look a little aged,
and he's standing in front of the forge of Minderhall. Oh, man. Wow. And now those same eyes look a little aged,
and he's standing in front of the forge of Minderhall,
which has lain cold for hundreds of years with two guns by his side.
The Red Heart family pistol is gone.
It was never his father's to begin with. Wait, is that the one that blew up?
That's the one that blew up on the boat against Targ Sinschgen.
The mere fact that you couldn't handle it shows me you weren't ready to take that gun.
And as Baron's standing there and unaware of Matthew's sly comments,
he is kind of fiddling with one of the rings showing his devotion to Toreg that's braided into his beard
and solemnly from his lips draws a single word.
Saja.
It's the name of the girl.
Oh.
Ah.
Saja.
Saja.
Saja.
I thought it was a dwarven toast.
It's short for misogynist.
She hated herself.
She hated herself. She hated herself.
What in God's name is your plan for this?
Someone has to blow that horn.
Now, the horn has powers, but you know the dragon,
if you're going to try and call the one before,
is a very powerful dragon.
It may be out of the CR range to affect it with powers.
Plus, it's a dragon.
It has great saves.
This thing is going to be very hard to manipulate.
Someone has to blow that horn
and stand in front of the forge
so that that person can take
the brunt of the breath attack
and then have those flames
travel down into the forge heart
and light the geodes of flame.
And then you're a prayer away
from relighting the forge
and then you're home.
Where is everybody standing?
Who's opening the doors?
Who's blowing the horn?
Who's Umlo?
I think Grant volunteered again.
I'm Umlo,
and you can make fun of my accent all day long,
but you won't take my freedom.
You've got a week to work on it.
It's much better.
Much better, Grant.
Much better.
Talk to me.
So it right now looks like
we're at the beginning
of the final scene in The Graduate
when the marriage is about to happen
between Mrs. Robinson's daughter and her fiancé
and Dustin Hoffman's about to run it through the back
and slam against the back window.
Classic scene.
So I guess that's the drag.
So right now we're kind of,
most of us are around the dais
and we need to pick out someone
to kind of open those doors
as we blow the horn.
Let's start there.
Who wants to open
the front doors
of Minderhall's Cathedral?
I'll open them.
Shut the front door.
If you'll let a halfling do it.
I don't know if a halfling
can even do it.
I think it would take
two people to open the doors.
All right, well, I'm in.
I'm low. What the hell is he going to do? I'm low, Julian. I'm doors. All right, well, I'm in. Umlo?
What the hell is he going to do?
Umlo will join.
I'm Umlo.
All right.
Umlo and Sir Will.
Put yourself near it.
Grant will do the mechanics
and Matthew does the voice.
All right, so Umlo and Sir Will
at the doors.
I moved them for you there, Grant.
I guess I... Let's elephant in the room.
Who's blowing the horn?
Who was supposed to be the scion of Joggerthir?
That would be Baron Redheart.
Baron Ashpeak.
Yes.
Now, you know what's about to happen when you do that.
What could happen.
They're going to open those doors.
You're going to blow that horn.
The fucking dragon is going to come in and murder you.
I also think after I blow the horn,
someone's going to yell, the trumpets!
And then Mambo No. 5 is going to play on its entirety.
Get a little soldier in my mind.
A little bit of baron.
So, yeah, no. A little bit of Baron. So, yeah, no.
A little bit of Dallas.
All I need.
Guys, we can't afford to pay all these.
Fair use is ending.
Fair use is ending.
We can't pay all these royalties to Lou Banega or whatever his name is.
Lou Vega.
Lou Vega.
Your home loves all I see.
And I know he has plenty of time on his hands if he wants to sue us.
We got to get Harry Connick Jr., Ben Vereen, and Lou Beg in a studio to record our new theme song.
Oh, man.
Talk about a super group.
It's like traveling Wilburys all over again.
So in all seriousness, Troy brought up something that was evocative of baron's
past lovers and also something he's never truly been he's been born allegedly by the lip of a
volcano he's been within the grasp of those touched by flame with both ingriheld and saja but he himself has never been flame touched
so he himself is prepared as the sheriff of true now to take this awesome responsibility on his
back blow the horn and take the blunt of whatever may come his way. I didn't even think about your connection to, you know,
volcanoes and whatnot.
Like, this is, Baron's got to blow the horn.
Plus, it's 127 episodes.
It's time to move on.
I've never, I've never.
Baron had a really good run.
Really good run.
Give it up for Baron, guys.
Yeah.
127, you did it.
You know, I'm just so glad I could finally produce my own backstory again on this episode
no but
I've
honestly Troy in ages
I haven't been nervous before an episode
I am terrified before
this episode I'm shaking in my look
well they're big boots in person
they're pretty big boots
they're daddy's boots
my daddy's boots
alright well Atena and Farron are gonna obviously hang back they don't want to get pretty big boots the dwarf boots are small those are daddy's boots my daddy's boots so yeah
alright well
Atena and Farron
are going to
obviously hang back
they don't want to get
blown in the face by fire
but Atena wants to be there
to see it
well
nobody wants to get
blown in the face by fire
except Barron
what is Della doing
in all of this
casting her
one remaining spell
for the day
well I'm
how many spells
you got left there
I'm not going to tell you that.
All right.
You can look my hero up later on.
You guys never share that with me.
Well, if Baron's going to do it,
then maybe perhaps Della can do a little buffing.
Ah, a little buff, buff.
Buff his shoes.
So he gets a reflex save
against the breath weapon, presumably.
So I could cat-scrape him.
Are you afraid that
you could get
possibly caught in
there if this dragon
comes in with a
crazy Anish and
catches you both in
that?
That's a risk we'll
have to take.
It's very bold.
It's very bold.
You must feel a
good connection to
Baron though even
though you're not
his little deputy.
You are his little
deputy and like
you've known him
the longest besides
you know Lork
obviously he was outside. There's got to be some sort of connection there yeah i mean i
can't imagine della wants him to die sure as much as baron apparently wants him well and i think
baron would also in this moment as we're half talking this out we're probably as characters
talking this out while we're talking about it mechanically, but turns down say, we've been on a long road together
and more than I'd like to admit,
as much as I'm the sheriff
and you're the deputy,
you've carried me as much as I have you.
And I'm asking you
to help me in this battle
and lend me your dragon foe amulet
so that I could helpfully withstand
what might come my way.
Well, funny story.
I gave it to
Sir Will.
I've got the book.
Over by the door.
Open the door? Sure.
No, no, no.
We're having fun.
Will's like,
legion of giants outside.
We talked about this off-air,
but yeah,
Sir Will give him the dragon foe amulet that Della had given Sir Will,
which gives him a...
Snowball chance?
He can bypass the DR of dragons,
and he can also, if he makes his reflex save,
he takes no damage on the fire instead of half damage.
So Sir Will will come over to Baron,
and as he's pulling off the dragon flow amulet,
he'll say,
perhaps you're all right, and I am wrong,
but we won't know until you do this thing, so...
You should know that I am here for you,
and I hope that you come out of this alive.
And he hands over the amulet.
May I, Omedei, bless you in this battle, Sir Will.
Aye, and maymedae bless you in this battle, Sir Will. Aye.
And may Torag bless you.
And
he'll turn and go back toward the door.
And Della will say,
I'm with you to the last.
Well, not quite the last. Almost
the last. We all die alone, Bell.
It's okay. And Baron takes off
the Tremorsense necklace
and throws it in the forge,
for he cannot have two things in his next life.
Bury me with my Tremorsense necklace.
A great dwarven giant killer.
Baron Tremorsense.
Any other requests?
Let's kill me.
Let's talk about Nestor.
What is Nestor doing in all of this?
Nestor is hanging out on the choir loft.
Now, got your back, stunty!
Yeah, no, dude.
Yeah, you got my full support.
All right, so Nestor, very safely tucked away in the choir loft.
Baron, do you want Aram to stay with Nestor?
Or do you want Aram closer to heel?
He did three channels, I believe,
because we did two on the episode, one off air.
I think he should be in a place close to people
that will be directly,
but it's difficult to tell where a dragon will directly go
if it is coming because it can fly and whatnot.
So it's difficult.
You would think it would be around the melee fighters typically, but with
the mobility of something like this, it's difficult to
say. But you know at least it's going to be coming
for you. Yeah. I think maybe
he should hang out behind the statue
near Atena and
Fungfar
Fenrir. Well, sir will
also say once the door is
open and
the dragon comes through i will make
all haste to return to the dais and heal you what i can that makes sense are you gonna close the
door behind the dragon are we gonna trap him in here like what's our plan i think we should let
him escape if he wants like he's a fly yeah and i think if the dragon comes in here i i just i
don't know i don't think i just don't foresee like legions of giants coming in here once the
dragon's in here they're gonna be a little freaked out, I think.
Now, did we call Bethesda to get the guy from Skyrim to come here to do Fus-Ro-Dah on this dragon?
Yes.
Absolutely.
Thanks, Bethesda.
All right, so Aram is going to hang back with Farron.
That makes sense.
Is there any possibility of negotiating with this dragon?
Well, let's play it out.
It's Pathfinder.
Anything's possible.
Well, this was Pembroke's
suggestion.
That if you...
I will situate myself
by the door where the dragons presumably
will come through. If all
of you will agree not to make
any threatening movements when it first appears,
I will make myself invisible and attempt to charm it.
I know it's a long shot, but if it works, it will certainly be a massive advantage,
especially in the fight to come, if there is one.
Agreed.
We're all nodding.
Yeah, this is true, because then you could be like, Baron, step aside.
Friend, blow your fire right down there. thank you very much, and we're done.
So where's Pembroke standing?
Is he kind of like in front of a tenner there on the edge of the back dais?
No, no, because he has to be close.
So he's going to go to the door.
Yeah, he's going to go to the door because he wants to try to catch it.
Oh, like a flyby door. Yeah, he's going to go to the door because he wants to try to catch it. Oh, like a flyby charming.
Yeah, exactly.
So then why don't you open the door and Sir Will will go back closer to the dais to be there to heal.
Okay.
Well, we still need two people, so.
Well, Umlo is up there.
Oh, okay.
All right.
Then, yeah.
So take Umlo back.
That makes sense.
Dwarves standing together.
Okay.
Yeah, I like that. The dwarves together. We'll have Umloves standing together. Okay, yeah, I like that.
The dwarves together.
We'll have Umla go back there.
Okay, so Umla is going to go where?
Near Atena?
Kind of near Atena, yeah.
Near Atena, okay.
Right before the back.
Backstabbing, thieving, lying giant.
Should he go, like, here?
That's so nice.
You know what?
Maybe Umla is Rosag reborn.
Certainly not Sir Will. Yeah. Certainly not Sir Will.
Yeah.
Certainly not Sir Will.
Let's put Umlo right at the edge of where the bridge starts between the concentric circles.
Ah, yes.
So there is the statue of Minderhall.
To its left is Farin and Aram.
To its right is Atena.
About 20 feet in front of it is a bridge leading to the forge.
But right at the beginning of that little bridge
is Umno.
And the circular
forge dais
in front of the actual forge itself
is Della and Baron.
Surrounded by
at least a 10-foot
pit of slag, 10 feet down.
You don't know how deep the slag goes.
And then hundreds and
hundreds of feet forward
are Pembroke
and Sir Will, and then
nestled very safely
in the choir loft
next to the dead body of Isaias.
It's Nestor Coyne.
Take it away, boys.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Ha ha ha ha ha!
Alright, so is it door first then horn
then run
and pray
quite literally actually
you're probably going to start writing back as soon as you open it
oh yeah
are you going to hang there to try
to get him as he goes through
that was what I was thinking, yeah.
That's the plan.
Listen, Stanley.
We'll say a little prayer because he's short.
The prayer probably won't be that lengthy.
The world's smallest prayer.
Forever and ever.
Got it.
Okay, just checking.
Yes, yes.
You guys didn't seem to be picking up what I was putting down.
Sorry, we're all so busy right now. It's best if you explain it thoroughly. Okay, just checking. You guys didn't seem to be picking up what I was putting down. Sorry, we're all so busy right now.
It's best if you explain it thoroughly.
Oh, okay.
So Baron looks at his party,
everyone who's traveled with him thus far,
and says,
for Saja,
for Ingrahild,
for Abria.
I can't hear you.
I can't either, mate.
Open the door. Speak up. He's having a solemn moment. For Sria. I can't hear you! I can't either, mate! Open the door! Speak up!
He's having a solemn moment!
For Sarja!
For Ingrihild!
Why are you shouting?
You're gonna attract a dragon!
For Abria!
For Highbury!
For Highbury!
For True Now!
Open those doors, Sir Will!
Who's Sarja?
Alright, so Sir Will and Pembroke push open this door.
Oh, yes.
Oh, man.
So Pembroke, when he sees that it's coming, when it's imminent,
he wants to cast greater invisibility on himself before it comes in.
Before he comes in.
Okay.
Both of you open the door, though, and you see something else.
I knew he was going to do this.
Three stone giants.
Roll for initiative.
Just one stone giant lying dead on the stairs in front of the door.
What?
What?
Both of you roll a perception check.
Uh-oh.
Oh, man.
This is Sir Will's best skill.
23.
Oh, actually, an 18.
You both notice holes all over the body and feathers.
What?
Dead stone giant.
What?
Lying on the steps.
Empty holes.
Not like there's not arrows.
Empty holes.
Stuffed with messages.
Like it was.
Is it filled with candy?
It's filled with candy.
It's a stone giant pinata.
So feathers makes me think immediately
because I just edited this image for the Tumblr,
the weird creatures that were happening.
Paratons?
Paratons.
Or harpies or something?
Or harpies.
What else?
Have we seen anything else that had feathers?
Or Brander.
Maybe it's Brander.
Maybe he's already here.
Brander.
Yeah, maybe.
I thought Brander was more of a memory foam pillow guy,
not like a traditional feather
he's not a down guy
this stone giant appeared to be walking
towards the door
and was killed
that's all you know
what do you want to do?
Baron?
tickle those horn ivories?
I was very close
but I wanted to have more consideration for your neighbors than they do for us.
I was going to bring my trombone here tonight to play it.
That would have been fun.
I can record it separately and we can cut it in there.
We'll see.
So you just let loose?
There we go.
Oh, even better.
You blow the horn, and those giant runes on the horn itself begin to glow.
Oh, wow.
And that sound echoes throughout the entire chamber and out the doors into the valley itself.
You did say it had great acoustics.
It sure does.
I love it.
Imagine that the entire giant army lying outside of the cathedral just heard this booming horn.
They all turn at once.
No, why did we do this?
And they see little Sir Will in the doorway.
He waves.
And they see little Sir Will in the doorway.
He waves.
Pembroke and Sir Will, you see drakes everywhere in the sky.
Oh, no.
We didn't think about that.
Flying away from the noise.
Right.
Flying away from the noise.
But like all these probably rift drakes.
Who knows? There might be some river drakes, some other drakes just flying away from the sound.
What an epic image!
You see the shadows in the night.
Stars being eclipsed by the bodies of these drakes just flying away from the noise.
But the sound of those wings pale in comparison to a sound you hear less than 60 seconds later.
Because that sound is coming from directly above.
Oh, no.
Oh, yeah.
We need a glass of water.
Yeah. Troy doesn't glass of water. Yeah.
Troy doesn't understand that reference.
No, he doesn't.
Oh my god.
You hear...
Pembroke, you see up in the sky
a red dragon coming down towards you.
Cast greater invisibility?
Yes.
And I want to do an Arcana check
to see what age it is.
23?
23 Arcana.
That's enough to know
that it is a young red dragon.
However, it appears to be much more advanced.
In its templates, perhaps?
Than other red dragons you've seen
back at the
Arcanarium. Okay.
The dragon swoops
down towards the doors
and begins flying
into the room.
Oh my god.
Roll for initiative.
This initiative roll is so important.
It's ridiculous. I mean it is.
It's just gonna. It's ridiculous. I mean, it is. It's just going to...
Oh, no.
Oh, my God.
It's a dragon fight!
An old-fashioned dragon fight!
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven versus one.
What'd you get, Nestor?
Fifteen.
Ooh.
Fifteen for Nestor.
And a fifteen for Sir Will.
So just put him right behind Nestor.
Sure will.
Baron. Baron will. Baron.
Baron got a 25.
Oh, that'll do.
That'll do.
All right.
Umla.
Umla got a 21.
Oh, pretty good.
Amstella?
19.
Okay.
Oh, that's so great.
Aram got a 6.
Pembroke.
21.
Ah, so that'll be right behind Della.
What'd you get, Will, again?
15.
In front of Della.
All right, Pembroke is right in front of Della.
All right, ladies and gentlemen.
The dragon crests through the doorway,
and it is Baron's turn.
Round one.
The devastation this thing laid out last time.
Baron, you've got to blow that horn.
You've got to keep blowing that horn.
Oh, really?
Can I do any action at all
or anything that requires semantic or verbal?
You can continue to blow that horn as a standard action,
but you can pull it off and do...
Quick judgment?
Swift?
Yeah, you can swift action, absolutely.
That's your standard action to continue blowing the horn.
Okay, so I'm going to do...
Can I do two swift actions?
No, just one.
Okay, so swift action.
Baron is going to blow, and then...
Dora, grant me your strength!
And he's going to cast a judgment
on himself for this dragon
An enacted judgment
An enacted judgment
You have to remember your GM here
is an Inquisitor expert
Upon the dragon which will require
him in the court of dwarf law
to provide me with sacred resistance
four against fire
Alright, so you're going with
that resistance. That second level Inquisitor
bumped that from a plus 2 to a plus 4, am I
correct? Third level. Third level Inquisitor.
Okay. Alright.
Umlo.
Good initiative roll. Umlo is going
to quickly load his
portfolio from Hero Lab because
I forgot that I rolled a 21.
This is real tough.
This is real tough because what do you do?
Do you want to distract it?
Do you want to, like, draw its attention away from Baron?
I don't know what you're doing!
Gosh.
It's all about the fire weapon on Baron.
I mean, that's the whole point.
weapon on Baron. I mean, that's the whole point.
He wants to walk up behind him and use his
resistant touch plus one to grant
him bonuses.
He's going to hold.
I'm going to hold at the edge of the
little mini bridge leading towards
the forge. Delay, as it were.
Pembroke, you've got
a chance.
So Pembroke, you've got a chance. Okay, so Pembroke
sees his opening,
steps up behind
the dragon, gets within 40 feet of it,
and attempts
to cast Charm Monster.
It is a DC
19 will save, and I am going
to use the bottle cap that you just
gave Pembroke in the last episode to
make you roll twice. Oh, good!
I rolled a 20
and an 18.
Oh, man.
Natural 20 on the neon green.
18 on little sister green.
On little sister green. Okay.
However, roll a perception
check. Okay.
39. You used
all your fucking power
to try to dominate this thing.
And you felt very secure.
It's the element of the bottle cap. Two chances.
And what you noticed... You felt fate was
on your side. What you notice in failing
that check is that
you could have probably never charmed
it to begin with. Because this
dragon is being dominated by someone else.
Oh!
Does his name begin with U?
Wow.
Okay.
Umlo?
Umlo?
I don't know.
You turn around, Umlo.
Stabs Baron in the back.
Ah!
Ah!
Della, you're up.
Okay. Della is going're up. Okay.
Della is going to use the Wand of Cat's Grace
to cast Cat's Grace on Baron.
Those initiative rolls, so key.
All right, Cat's Grace,
and then jump into the slag pit?
Don't think I didn't think about it.
Featherfall, and then erupt from it flying.
Like Luke?
She's going to move 30 feet back, heading towards Amla.
30 feet back, heading towards Amla.
Let's see.
How far does that get you?
Does it get you close enough?
Does it get you out of the cone of fire?
It gets me just onto the bridge.
Just onto the bridge.
Candela, take it to the bridge.
Candela.
Take it to the bridge.
Take it to the bridge.
Bum, bum, bum, bum, bum.
Nestor.
All right. Nestor, does he have a shot from where he is?
Yeah, I mean, this thing is flying, so it's above all of the pews.
I mean, you're probably two range increments away.
Are you worried that it's going to turn its attention towards you?
Maybe, but she's also blowing the horn.
I think I'm going to hold...
I'm just going to delay. Delay.
And the benefit of that, too, is you're letting it get
closer. I want it
to get within
range.
Sir Will, you've faced the same dragon before.
Images in your
mind just have to go back to...
You know, you can't remember when you were an infant,
but it's a dragon.
Oh, yeah.
This is what killed your family.
Is this the same dragon?
Probably not.
But maybe, maybe it's his brother.
He has the trait dragon foe.
That's part of his build.
He's like, he studied dragons.
He knows a thing or two about dragons.
You are standing at the door
to the entrance of the Cathedral of Minderhall.
It took all of your strength, along with Pembroke's, to standing at the door to the entrance of the Cathedral of Minderhall. It took all of your strength
along with Pembrokes
to even open the door.
What do you want to do now? This dragon just flew straight
past you. Sir Will
is going to...
He's going to run. So he's going to have
Lexington. He's going to spur Lexington on.
I am so fucking pumped up right now.
And he's going to run under the dragon.
So it has to fly in the same direction.
He's like, just right up the middle aisle.
He runs right up the middle aisle, and then he turns around and starts making the loop around the pews.
And now because of Lexington's feet that he took at ninth level, run.
He can run at four times speed, even in heavy
armor. Wow. Oh, I knew that
would come in handy. Yeah, so this is
a good time for that. So you're gonna go
So he runs 140 feet
this round. Wow. Wow. Let me ask
you this. You're gonna eventually get to the back pew
of the huge stone pews that
surround the forge, because you went up the middle
like you're walking down the aisle. Right, right. Are you gonna split off to the
right or the left? Because you're going to have some movement speed left.
Yeah, he's going to go off to the right. Off to the right
so that is like... Because Will is always on the side
of right. He's always on the
side of leftiousness.
Don't matter if they're
good or they're evil. They're all righteous.
The dragon.
The named dragon
flies
straight forward.
It's got a fly speed of, oh, a couple hundred feet.
Flew from up on its roost, probably wondering where all its treasure went.
How about that? It flies right up to the edge of the slag pit as Baron's standing there just
blowing it in his face
and unleashes
a breath attack.
Baron, you need to roll
a very, very, very important reflex save.
Oh my god!
While you do that, I will get one, two, three, four, five, six, D10 ready.
Oh, my God.
Oh, Lord.
Hi, Omaday.
Save us from this peril. I have my bottle cap, and now I have paid my whore.
All right. Good time for a cap. Roll I have paid my whole. Alright.
Good time for a cap.
Roll two. Take the better.
This is it, dude.
What's your reflex save bonus?
It's a plus 12 right now.
He's got it.
That was an 18? Fail.
Second one
is a 26.
A fail
and a pass.
Yeah!
Yes!
The fire goes directly past Baron and into the forge,
and anyone with an earshot can hear the geodes light up.
Oh, my God.
Part three has been completed. Wow. And it is Aram's turn. He just hangs back,
realizes nobody's been hurt. Oh, Nestor would like to take his turn. Now Nestor wants to take
his turn. Yeah. This is, hold on, real quick, this sound deep in the background. Oh yeah,
yeah. This is the forge rumble. Oh, wow. So that's the forge cooking.
It's vibrating the whole place.
Oh, that's so cool.
That's great.
Okay, so Nestor is going to study his target,
pull two arrows, not the flaming arrows,
from his quiver, regular arrows,
and take his deadly aim shot.
That is 29.
29 is a miss.
Wow.
We have to get out of here.
Yeah, yeah.
Immediately.
And the second attack is a miss also.
Do you remember how hard this thing was to hit?
I forgot.
I only hit it on the natural 20, right?
That's right.
That's right.
This thing is
crazy powerful!
Umlo, do you want to do anything?
You have delayed.
Umlo will move
30 feet closer.
Alright, so Umlo
will move in the initiative order as well.
I'll keep Nestor and Umlo in front of Aram
in case Aram needs to heal.
Round one is over.
I have rolled to see when
I can use that breath attack again.
I know the answer.
Baron.
Chuck the horn at him.
Baron.
Baron.
Baron
drops the horn.
Quick draws his plus one dragonbane pistol.
His birthright.
The horn shatters, and the spirit of geography comes out.
Are you a bird safe in my horn?
Come with me into the depths of hell.
Baron vanishes.
He's pulled down into the ether.
I wasn't listening.
Which secret?
Because Baron has not invested rapid Shot into the Dragon Pistol subtype,
he is going to spend a grit point on Deadshot,
which allows him to put all of my base attack bonus into a single attack roll.
Ooh, baby.
So if I hit with both rolls, instead of doing
1d6 plus 13 plus 2d6,
I will do 2d6 plus 13
plus 2d6. Okay, so you drop the horn,
draw the pistol, stand,
and fire with the dragon pistol.
And I'm going to spend two points.
I'm going to resolve against his touch AC,
even though I'm outside of my increment.
Now talk to me about the dragon pistol. Are you using the scatter
effect and using certain cartridges,
or are you just using its regular thing?
You can fill it with pellets as opposed to, like,
or just a single bullet, and I'm using a single bullet.
Single bullet.
Okay.
Fire away.
That is going to be against dragons.
It's a good thing this is a bonus against that.
That is a 24 against touch AC.
That is a hit.
There we go.
There we go.
That's what we need.
Using the ancient weapon of your ancestors.
Kill it.
25 points of damage, and then I don't know if this counts,
two points of fire damage.
I'll note it.
And all of that bypasses damage reduction.
Right.
If it has any.
Right.
Good to know.
All right.
So Baron draws first blood.
Baron's going to move 20 feet as well.
Drawing the gun count as a movement, or do you have quick draw?
I have quick draw.
Okay.
So Baron pulls back 20 feet close to, who is that, Umlo and Della?
Yep.
Okay.
And it is Pembroke's turn.
Pembroke way far at the other end at the doors, inches away from this dead stone jack.
Yeah, Pembroke is going to cast Message and move up, and he's going to tell Della.
It's like, it's being dominated by someone else, another spellcaster.
I couldn't breach it.
It just echoes throughout the chamber, and you hear that, Della.
Well, yeah, it's obviously Message.
Yeah, it's just gone. So it obviously doesn't echo throughout the chamber. D you hear that, Della. Well, it's obviously a message. Yeah, it's just going.
So it obviously doesn't echo throughout the chamber.
Della, you hear it very clearly.
As if it was right next to you.
And it is your turn.
Okay.
First things first, Della is going to cast Haste.
Ah.
There you go.
Still have that one left, I see.
So that should get Umlo and Baron for sure.
I think it gets Atena too
if it really matters.
No, she's just outside.
So no, she doesn't get it.
Aw.
And then...
I've never been hasted.
Centuries have been hasted.
Today's the anniversary.
Everything's new for me.
Today's the anniversary.
Today's the anniversary of when I was last hasted.
And then Della doesn't really see the wisdom in giving the dragon all of their ducks in a row,
so she's going to move back.
Della moves back.
How far?
30 feet.
30 feet, Della moves back.
Okay, sir.
Well, you chugged along there.
I haven't seen you move your pawn yet.
So you are...
What do you want to do?
You want to keep moving along the right side there?
Yeah, yeah, he'll keep running.
Oh, wait, no, I have haste.
I can move more than 30 feet.
Oh, yeah, totally.
So I'm going to go the other way.
I was counting out the squares.
Yeah, I'm really not sure what to do here.
He's going to stick with the plan and get to the dais in case he needs to heal people.
So another 140 feet of running.
You have to say the prayer, too.
What's that?
You have to say the prayer.
You've got to say a little prayer.
I don't know what you're talking about.
To light the forge.
I'm not lighting the forge.
What did you do with the tablet? I don't know what you're talking about. To light the forge. I'm not lighting the forge. What did you do with the tablet?
I don't know.
I destroyed it.
She said that we had to kill the dragon before we could say the prayer, if I remember correctly.
She wants all of you to embrace Menderhawk.
Yeah, we have to kill the dragon first.
And it's good, too, because that is going to draw a lot of attention.
Not that a giant dragon flying through the doors won't also draw attention.
Yeah, so Sir Will's going to keep running.
He's very far from the other end of the cathedral, but he's working his way around.
But you're getting closer to those stairs on the north side of the statue dais
to get up there and join the party, as it were.
It is the dragon's turn.
The dragon rolled a one on when it can use its breath weapon again.
Oh, no.
You mean Troy rolled a one.
So it swings around and breaths.
Umlo and Baron both roll a reflex save.
I have Umlo's sheet up, so I'm going to roll his reflex save first.
Umlo rolls a natural 20 for a 27.
Half damage for ums.
Baron gets a 17.
I'm going to fail.
Not Baron.
What did you roll?
A four.
I was saying, before you even rolled umla, I'm like, if he rolls umla first, that's going to be the 20.
All right.
Full damage for Baron.
Half for ums.
Wait, wait. This is fire, though, right?
This is fire.
So I'm going to take minus four to whatever damage.
Sure.
Minus four.
60, 10, minus four.
All right.
21, 30.
That's almost a whole dice knocked off, Troy.
Don't sneeze at that.
That's a fifth of a T20.
You weren't good at math.
43 points of fire damage.
Omlo takes 21 of it.
You take 39.
Oh, my God.
That was...
Bathed in flame.
Oh, man.
Oh, my God.
Wow.
AC 30?
Talk about kissed by fire.
And I marked my sheet for when the next time I can use that breath weapon is.
It is.
Thank goodness.
I'm low.
Rolled that save.
It is Nestor's toin.
All right.
So his arrow is clanked off the scales of its armor.
I pull out Bard's black arrow from my quiver.
Go now and speed well.
Miss. Second well! Miss.
Second attack.
Miss.
Come on.
Yes, you just...
No!
Your only hope.
Umlo.
Umlo is going to reach out to his friend, Baron,
and he is going to...
Push him into the slag!
...touch him on the shoulder for resistant touch.
Oh. And that is going to add plus one to his saves.
Selfless of Humble.
Yeah, well, you know, when Nestor went and saved Pembroke the other day,
no one would complain about that, did they?
So after that, he's going to move a total of 40 feet back.
So after that, he's going to move a total of 40 feet back.
So hopefully we can kind of gather in one place and let him breath weapon all of us at once.
Okay.
Aram, seeing you guys hurt, will channel for Amlo.
Because he will not walk up into the face of the dragon.
This is why Shinerman's fortune burned to the ground because of cowards like a Rom.
13 points of healing for Umlo,
and I lost a Rom.
Oh, there he is.
And he just kind of hangs back near there like,
please don't burn me alive.
Round three.
I just have to reiterate again,
I've never seen maps like this.
It's so absurd.
I can't see my character and another character at the same time.
Yeah.
Without zooming out so far, I can't see the characters.
You know, it's great.
Just all clustered together.
Yeah, it'll make it a lot easier.
Then you'll be able to see everything.
Problem solved.
I don't know what you complained about.
Next question.
All right.
Round three.
When's that next Breath web coming? I don't know what you complained about. Next question. Alright, round three. When's that next breath web coming? I don't know.
Baron.
Baron is going to...
You're the crackle of the geodes right below you, Baron.
Baron is a point of
practicality, being a little
bit frightened by what was done to him.
Will drop
his birthright pistol.
He will quick draw, Swift Action,
his Masterwork Double Barrel Pistol.
Oh, baby.
Reloading his Free Action on it, so that's fine.
And he is going to,
outside of his first range increment,
so against regular AC and minus two...
Cauterize a Fire Wound?
Do a deadly aim
rapid shot against him. Okay.
Nice. Thank you for walking us through it.
I just wanted to make sure. Yeah, no, I
appreciate it. Oh, and that's four
attacks total, so I'm definitely going to misfire.
Oh, with haste. Yeah, good chance of a misfire.
Let's see how this goes.
Fire one.
Oh, misfire. Oh, no!
Okay, it can't. No, no, no, no, no! Okay, you can't.
No, no, no, no, no.
No, it can't happen now.
On the first.
Would you roll a one or a straight up misfire?
No, it was a three.
You rolled a three on the die.
Oh, poop salad.
I mean, this is, it's, okay.
You survived the first blast.
It's up to you, Troy.
Well, the good news is it happened on the first shot. What's up to me?
That it's Pembroke's turn?
It's up to you as to
whether or not you want to kill me.
Let's
It's a Masterwork double barrel pistol.
It could explode. I am
going...
So what is
our house rule if I decide to take a full attack action?
Can I not do anything else?
I can just stop my attack and not try to do...
Well, I'd be out of standard actions now.
You've already declared you're doing a full attack action.
You misfired, so you can stop it if you want.
Can I move?
But you can't.
But not do another actual action?
That's an excellent question.
Yeah, I think the rule is...
I believe by the book you can.
Yeah, you can interrupt a full attack.
At any time, yes. Alright, yeah, if you still have action
it's fine. Yeah, I'll have to do it. But you cannot...
I don't know if you can move the extra hasted movement.
I guess you can. Yeah, I think you can.
You didn't take the fourth attack, so you can
take the extra movement if you want.
Get really bunched up so we can get
all seven of you. I'm actually trying to get close
to Atena, because I don't trust her.
Yeah, that's my turn.
All right.
Pembroke.
All right, Pembroke is going to try to get closer to his friends.
He's going to run.
But I don't think...
I'm thinking that he's still limping.
He can't run at
full speed like a normal character could.
Sir Will is hundreds of feet away, and they
left at the same time.
So I'm going to say
he can move like 80 feet.
Okay.
Well, if he's running, he can move
four times his speed. Right, I know.
He's just real playing that he's still...
He is. Yeah, yeah.
He gets up basically to the
rear of the
front section of Pew's.
Right at the edge of the nave where the nave
meets the Sacred Forge area.
Yeah.
Alright, and that's the part where the ceiling gets
much higher and goes all the way up.
It is Della's turn.
Shoot.
I have no idea if this is going to work.
But Della is going to...
Joe's just shaking his head.
In Draconic, Della is going to start shouting at the dragon.
You're under someone else's control!
We're doing this for your own good!
And she's going to cast Dispel Magic.
There you go.
On the dragon. There you go go Snap, crackle, pop
Are there any bottle caps
In the room? Grant
Are there any
Bottle caps? You don't have any Matthew?
No
Troy doesn't give out bottle caps
I do have another
But then again
I feel like this is I'm pretty sure you have two more Grant I do have another but then again I feel like this is
I'm pretty sure you have
two more Grant
I do
I do I just
he's being so stingy
I don't want to give him out
well this is being honest
let's do it
but the only fear I have
is that it's all story based
and it's just going to be
like our brilliance
with Pembroke
but oh shit
there you go
sorry
oops
over the top of Joe's head
don't worry
I should have caught it
how's me
I pulled a Tony around.
It's my bad.
It's my bad.
Okay.
So it's a D20 plus my caster level.
So this is caster level check.
And I compare it to the spell with the highest caster level.
Wait, this is a will save?
Oh, this dragon's passing.
It's not a will save.
What is it?
Oh.
Oh.
It's against the spell.
It's against the caster level of the caster that is dominating him.
So whatever the, I believe.
All right, try to dispel magic.
Roll a caster level check.
And what is the DC for me?
So you compare it to the spell with the highest caster level that's affecting the dragon.
And if that doesn't work, you go down to the next one.
Okay, but is it just like if he's being dominated by a 6-level
spell, it's just DC 6?
No, it's the caster level.
So whatever Orathash's level
is, caster level
is, that's what you're going up against.
And Della has a plus 9.
Let's just say whoever's dominating.
It's not jumped any conclusions
there, O'Brien.
Natty 18.
Oh!
25! Oh, 9, right's not jumped any conclusions there O'Brien Natty 18. Oh 25
Right 27 to 9 right not 7. Did you roll both? Yeah, there was a natty 3 on the other one. Oh
All right, so you use the bottle cap, yep pause why well we look up rules for
Absolutely unequivocally
fail absolutely, unequivocally fail.
Wow. What was the DC?
The DC is the caster level.
It's 11 plus the caster level.
Oh, I'm sorry, 11 plus the caster level.
And you rolled a what?
Fail.
Oh, man.
It was worth it, man.
You rolled an 18 and failed.
But that should tell you that this thing is being dominated
by
something very,
very powerful.
With a 27, it's
probably being dominated by
a major artifact.
Oh, yeah, wow.
Can I do an Arcana check on the spell? You sure can.
Yeah, I do. I want to do that
as well.
Natural 20 on the Arcana check on the spell? You sure can. Yeah, I do. I want to do that as well. Natural 20 on the Arcana check.
32.
Wow!
30 for Pembroke also.
Della, you know.
I don't know where you would have got this knowledge.
That it is being dominated by an orb of
dragon kind. Oh, wow.
This is a very, very
powerful
ancient artifact, and there are a number
of different orbs.
But it would only be in the hands
of someone of great,
great power to be able to
dominate a dragon.
Well, kill it or run, I guess.
Sir Will's turn.
Speaking of run,
Sir Will's gonna keep
running. Actually,
you know what? Sir Will is going
to
he's going to just move
to within roughly
50 feet of the dragon,
and he's going to try to taunt the dragon.
Taunt the dragon.
Taunt the dragon.
What does he say?
He says...
Does he get up on the dais?
Is he going to get up there?
No, no, he's going to stay on the floor.
Ah.
He's going to move kind of close.
He can't do anything.
He can't hit.
He doesn't really have ranged weapons, but he wants to draw it away from some of the
weaker party members and see if maybe we can get some ranged attacks off on him.
So he'll move up to within roughly 50 feet and just sort of exhausted, you know, through
his helm, he'll say,
Through his helm, he'll say,
Foul creature!
I smite thee in the name of Iomedae!
And he wants to see if he can smite it.
If he can smite evil!
He can.
Yeah!
Oh, wow.
And you know that's bigger versus dragons, baby.
Yeah.
So Sir Will rides up on the ground. I'm just staring at Troy like, please, please, please.
On the ground, like below the dais, so 15 feet below the rest of your friends.
And you taunt it and smite it, and the smite goes through.
Oh, my God.
So all of a sudden, like, he just starts glowing white.
Beautiful.
With just the touch of Ioma Day.
Your obstinance paid off.
Yeah.
That's what I was going for.
The dragon flies down and lands next to you.
Ooh!
Oh, boy.
And you see in its eyes that its like, its mind is not there.
The eye slits are open, but there's almost no pupils there.
And it goes to bite you.
And you've seen this thing unleash, like, five, six, seven attacks on Della.
Yeah.
Goes to bite you.
24 to hit.
Miss.
Miss.
I mean, just, like, magical divine energy, literally, because it's right near the edge there.
And it's just like, and its jaws just flash away.
It's about, yeah, right next to you.
All right, it misses.
Bought a round.
Wow.
Bought a round.
Nestor's turn now.
Unfortunately, you put him Down below
A little bit
So it's a little bit trickier
You know you've made Nestor's shot even harder
Yeah
But Nestor wasn't in him anyways
Yeah
But it is Nestor's turn
Nestor you see this go down
You probably assume Baron and Umla are almost dead
I do
And if certain people hadn't corrected me with my feats, I would be able to hit it.
But I'm going to go ahead and take another couple shots, many shots, study target, et cetera.
That is 33.
There's a 33 to hit.
That is a hit.
Yeah!
That's what we know.
We got one hit off
We hit him once
We can do it again
Oh man
That is 31
Six of which is electricity
Okay and those aren't flame arrows anymore?
No
31, six of which is electricity
And gonna take a shot in the dock
Almost literally And it's a shot in the dock almost literally. A big hit.
And it's a miss. Second one's a miss.
Alright, but now things are
starting to happen. Baron's got a shot
off. Nestor's got a shot off. It has
taken some damage. I dare say it's
taken... Well, no. You guys
did brought it pretty low to make it fly
off last time. I picture it
rearing up its head after its
teeth glance off Will's magical field I picture it rearing up its head after its teeth glance off Will's
magical field. Its head rears up
and as its head pokes above
the dais, like,
a couple of arrows hit the neck.
Right in the neck with the multi-shot.
Thank goodness the first one hit.
Yeah, seriously. It is Umlo's
turn. Oh, right. Umlo moved in
the initiative, right? Yeah, I will
allow you to jump off the dais and stab
down. And you'll get a plus
one to attack. Off the turnbuckle! Come on!
Come on, dude! Jumps off.
Super flex. 35,
40. He's got haste.
45.
Yep, within 15 feet.
Nice.
So he does jump off? Yep, he jumps off the
dais and gets within 15 feet of the dragon.
Even with that acrobatics check that slows down his speed,
the haste is enough to get him within 15 feet of this thing!
Oh, boy, let's see if this...
I'm low!
I'm low, please!
You got a link!
And the extra attack from haste is only on a full round attack.
Yes, correct.
All right, let's roll this sucker.
21 to hit.
21 to very miss.
Very miss.
Very miss.
Very miss, baby.
Very miss.
Very miss.
Aram is looking to...
Baron, do you need help?
I could use some healing.
All right.
You could be my huckleberry.
I have a few more channels left today.
But since it's you, I will roll low.
No, pretty good.
11 points of healing.
Guys have burned a decent amount of Aram channels.
Thank goodness he came along for the ride.
And now we move to round four.
The fourth round, as they call it.
Baron.
Baron is going to move 40 feet.
He's going to jump off the dais as well, be on the edge.
And as his standard action, he is going to cast Protection from Evil upon himself.
After seeing the smite, the blessings of Iona Day, which I turned to Sir Will and said,
May her blessings be upon you.
You did.
It was probably you.
It's all me.
Boom.
All right.
Protection from evil Pembroke.
Pembroke keeps running.
He keeps running.
Is he going the way Sir Will went or to the south?
The way Sir Will went.
Okay.
So he's following hoof prints.
Yeah.
Wolf hoofs.
Wolf hooves.
All right.
So Pembroke chugging along, doing another 80 feet?
Yep.
All right.
Della.
Della, Della, Boom Bella.
Let's check my speed here.
Okay, so I think with the haste, I can rush up to Nestor.
Double move.
So Della is going to double move to get up next to Nestor.
What is going on here?
Going to kill him. Perfect. Take him out. It move to get up next to Nester. What is going on here? I'm going to kill him.
Perfect. Take him out. It's the perfect moment.
The perfect time. Lawful evil versus chaotic evil.
Okay. That's all she can do now.
Alright, so Della sneaks up.
Can I do a knowledge check on the
dragon? Pretty sure you
did. Did you already do that or no? I did it on the spell.
Okay, yeah. Knowledge
arcana, I believe. Yes.
25. 25.
25.
Yes, I can give you one piece of useful information.
Of juicy info.
Let me ask you this.
Is there anything specifically you want to know?
Energy resistances?
It is immune to fire damage.
Oh, great. That we know.
But since you probably figured that...
Figured it.
I will tell you one piece of very useful information.
He's a Libra.
No, he's a Sagittarius.
So will.
He is vulnerable
to cold.
Oh, wow.
If only Della had spells.
Spells left.
Frigid touch this!
Frigid touch this!
Sir Will. Five feet away from this
creature.
Five feet away. Alright.
Sir Will is, he's gonna to take it to this thing.
He is going to attempt
to fast dismount
Lexington.
The first thing he's going to do.
Attempt a fast dismount.
Natural one!
Oh no!
Come on!
So that's just a move action,
which is okay.
And then as a standard action, he will, he is going to enact a Scruff's armor.
Oh, wow.
He's going to initiate.
You motorboat son of a bitch.
And he becomes human size Super super-will. Big-willy style.
Glowing white.
Provokes an attack of opportunity for getting big?
No. No, I'm just kidding.
Because he moved from five-foot square
to a ten-foot square up.
Alright, so you just go big-willy.
He moved vertically out of a threatened square. That's true.
Standard action.
Standard action.
So now he's going to become regular old
large Sir Will. Not regular old large
Sir Will, but human-sized Sir Will.
Tie him to the ground! It is the
dragon's turn. The dragon
takes a five-foot step back
and blasts Sir Will
and... I'm long.
With a breath of
fire. Oh, no.
Wait, what is the what?
What?
Are they next to each other?
It's not a line attack.
It's a cone attack.
Oh, I'm sorry.
There was a thing right over. I need Sir Will, Umlo, and Lexington to roll a reflex save.
Yeah.
Oh, I meant to slap Lexington away.
Is that what you wanted to do?
Yeah, yeah.
I was like, get out of here. Is that what you wanted to do? Yeah, yeah. I was like, get out of here!
Is that why you fasted this mountain?
Allow it.
Or tried to, anyway.
All right.
This is tough.
This is going to be bad.
Okay.
What'd you get?
Umlo?
Umlo has some bad news for you.
Good news, bad news.
Good news is his myth roll cook pot's going to survive this, but
I'm lost on.
What did he roll? 17.
Oh, no!
Sir Will failed. And did we say Lexington got away?
Yeah, Lexington got away. Okay.
To tell Sir Will's story.
Oh, because you NH-hocked. That's nice.
60-10 damage.
Hey, it could be 6!
Could be 6! It could be 6. Could be 6.
Very likely.
Can we roll one at a time? Is that fun?
No.
None of it's fun.
I see a 10 in there. I also see a 1.
Okay.
Okay, good.
Alright.
Add the total.
Alright, so we got 13.
It's a 21, 25, 26, 36 points of fire damage to Umlo and Sir Will.
Somehow that did less damage than the arrow that Umlo took in his back.
He's not a trained professional.
That's what I'm saying.
Brutal.
Is everyone okay?
I mean, what do you mean?
Mentally? Emotionally?
I roll to see when I can do the breath weapon next.
Just keep track of that on my little chart here.
Let's just say I'm rolling extremely well.
You're very organized. It's unfortunate.
Very organized. It's unfortunate.
And it is Nestor's Toy.
Nestor, you got a good shot off last time.
Hit him right in the neck.
It's getting hot down there.
I'm going to try again.
Don't blame you.
It's a miss. Second shot.
Miss.
Two misses.
Umla!
I'm wondering if Umla would just, like, run away
in panic, or if he would stay. I'm really
trying to get into Umlo's head.
The problem is he's been occupied by, like,
multiple personality disorder.
20 hit points
left. What would Umlo do?
Old Umlo, pre-cleric Umlo
might go hide and pray, but now
he's a cleric of choice. While you think, I have a rules question.
I have
DR5 evil now.
Does the fire bypass that?
Yes. It does, right?
It's energy damage.
So.
Doctor, heal thyself.
Hmm.
Amlo's going to attack him.
Full tech. Alright, so five foot step, full attack.
Miss.
Come on, where's that crit, Oms?
19.
Natural 20.
Oh, get out of here.
No way.
Get out of here now.
Natural 20.
What is the full damage?
It doesn't matter, right?
It doesn't matter. Okay. But the confirmation will be impossible, so you can't confirm. Unless it's a 20. What is the full damage? It doesn't matter, right? It doesn't matter.
Okay.
But the confirmation will be impossible, so you can't confirm.
Unless it's a 20.
18?
Oh, yeah, I guess it's...
No, but that is exploding dice.
Exploding dice.
2d6 plus 5.
Exploding dice.
I mean, huge.
Huge.
Almost stood in the face of certain death.
Oh, fuck.
Awful. I'm rolling like Joe certain death. Oh, fuck. Awful.
I'm rolling like Joe over here.
This is terrible.
Ten points of heart spit.
Ten points of heart spit.
Oh, no.
You hit him right in the good spot, but just missed the sweet spot.
The good spot is usually adjacent to the sweet spot.
Aram, seeing that everyone except the two guys on the floor are doing well, I mean, part of him wants to run up to the sweet spot. Aram, seeing that everyone except the two guys on the floor are doing
well, I mean, part of him wants to run
up to the edge here
and heal down at
Umlo and Sir Will.
So that's
what he's going to do. He's going to go down there
and channel for Umlo and Sir Will.
Beautiful. He has one channel
left after this.
Oh!
14 points of healing for Umlo and Sir Will.
Woo!
14 points.
Awesome.
Awesome.
And Aram has one channel left for the day.
And it is now round five.
Baron.
Baron, unfortunately, with misfiring,
has to spend a standard action to clear his gun.
Oh, because you have no grit? Right. Oh, boy. And that's essentially, with hastiring, has to spend a standard action to clear his gun. Oh, because you have no grit?
Right.
And that's essentially with haste.
He can move into combat at any time.
Seeing Umlo take some breath, though, he's ready to get within 20 feet
so that he can attack him next time.
And he's going to say to the dragon, well, he's not going to say anything to the dragon
because he knows it's possessed and it's stupid.
Actually, highly intelligent.
No, no, no. The dragon, of course.
But the great thing is now
with protection against evil,
my reflex save has increased
to 15.
Plus 15? Yep.
Japers, that'll keep you alive for at least another round.
It is Pembroke's turn.
Alright, Pembroke is gonna keep running.
Keep on hoping he's gonna save the day.
Puffing and puffing with his
with his cane.
With his cane staff. With his shillelagh.
This has to be a fun moment for Pembroke.
As dangerous as it is, he really
thought he's marked for death.
Did he ever think he'd be fighting a dragon?
This is very exciting, I think.
This is crazy!
Yeah, like, he's already embraced the fact that he's going to die,
so I was like, this is a pretty cool way to go out.
If you gotta go, go with a smile.
Della.
Della is going to vanish Nestor.
Oh, classic!
Oh, you get it?
Now flat-footed. Flat-footed AC on that dragon jaunt. Oh, classic. Oh, you get it. Now flat-footed.
Flat-footed AC on that dragon jaunt.
Oh, that is huge.
I mean, still, I'll tell you right now,
it's still a tough hit,
but I mean, that is a classic Della-Nestor mess around.
Sir Will.
Sir Will of it!
All right, he is...
Are you moving, Della?
Sorry.
Yes.
Oh, no.
Della will stay with you.
Stay hiding behind the curtain.
Sir Will, what do you got? Help us against this dragon. Sir Will, you don't have your mount, in case you didn't know.
Lexington ran out the door and was eaten by six ogres.
Sir Will is absolutely overjoyed with this feeling of divine inspiration from Iomedae
and the fact that this might work.
So he is dropping his Highbury Lance.
He is drawing
his longsword, Roselight.
The weapon of Iomedae.
Iomedae.
I'm still doing it.
And he will try to smite
this creature. He will try to hit
this dragon.
So what does smite give you? A bonus to hit?
A bonus to damage?
Yeah, a big bonus to damage. I don't think you? A bonus to hit? A bonus to damage? Yeah, big bonus to damage
I don't think there's a bonus to hit
That's what you need
Oh, actually, you know what?
There is a bonus to hit
But I'm fighting defensively
I should also say
Which lowers the
You need a natural 20, buddy
Yep
Gonna need a natural 20
But you're still excited
Born thatty, nice job
I'm still excited
I'm still excited
I'm just happy to be murdering again
Damn it I rolled max damage, too That is a 23 But you're still excited. Born that E-19. I'm still excited. I'm still excited. I'm just happy to be murdering again.
Damn it.
I rolled max damage, too.
That is a 23.
That's a tough shit.
Damn.
That's a tough, tough. It's all right.
It's just a swing and a miss.
It's okay.
I mean, I'm fighting defensively.
I'm trying to keep it here and still fight away.
You know what, though?
Similar to your parents.
They also missed the dragon.
And then it killed them.
It is.
What?
Boo.
Sorry.
The joke was that your parents missed, and that's why they're dead.
The joke was your parents died.
Yep.
Good one.
Oh, now I get it.
Get it?
Oh, yeah.
All right.
Every time I use a breath weapon, I roll a 1d4.
And that's how many rounds I take. Oh, that's pretty short.
I thought it was 1d6. For me to
reuse it. The first time I did a 1,
the second time I rolled a 2.
Matthew, what do you think I rolled this time?
Is it a 3? It's a 1, Matthew.
So here comes the breath weapon,
and I think I can get Sir
Will, Umlo, and Baron all
in it. Is this a 40-foot cone?
Thank you, Grant. It actually isn Is this a 40-foot cone? Thank you, Grant. It actually isn't
exactly a 40-foot cone.
Wait, so
are you provoking?
Did you actually just take a 5-foot
step? Sorry,
I was right here, right up against you.
That's exactly right. Yeah, you were
right there. And then here is a 5-foot
step. How are you standing there with that?
No, I'll provoke.
Yeah, I'll provoke from you, sir.
Let me get a nice cone.
Can you draw the cone on there first, Troy?
What?
That is a 30...
31.
You just smote the dragon.
Yeah!
And I did
26 points of damage.
Holy shit.
Yes!
I get one.
I get my first hit on the dragon is double the smite damage.
Smites do, like, all this bonus damage,
but they do double damage on the first hit against undead or evil-aligned dragons.
Wow.
I'm assuming it's evil-aligned.
It is.
So, double.
Wow.
That's a one-swing 26 from Sir Will.
What a great final action before you fail this reflex save.
Let's start with Sir Will's reflex save,
because you're rolling twice.
I'm going to take an opportunity because of the breath weapon.
Because he moved away.
He had to move more than a five-foot step.
More than a five-foot step.
Okay.
All right, Sir Will, give me that reflex save.
Reflex save.
Fail.
Do you want to do Barons or Umlos first?
Let's do Barons.
Okay.
That is a 25.
Baron passes.
Half damage.
All right, good, good, good.
No damage.
No damage.
Oh, no damage.
No damage.
Huge.
Umlo, we need that last bottle cap on Umlos. Nope. I want her to die. No, you don't. That, no damage. No damage. Huge. I'm low. We need that last bottle cap on arms.
Nope.
I want her to die.
No, you don't.
That's a 15 with 34 hit points left.
Troy, take mercy.
Troy, take mercy.
Shamelessly begging the GM.
Don't forget Sir Will's getting this, too.
At least he's not raging.
I see a couple tens.
Oh, come on, man.
I wish I could just roll like Troy all the time.
Give me the damn total.
36 points of damage.
All right, so he's down.
Down.
He has eight rounds left of living.
Is he diehard?
No.
No, that was Ingerholtz.
That was Ingerholtz.
36 points of damage, and you've got to get him out of this cone.
You've got to get him out of this cone for when that comes again.
Or move the cone.
Wait, he's unconscious, right?
He's unconscious and dying.
Sir Will, how are you sitting there?
Two big blasts.
Sir Will is at 74 out of 155.
Wow.
Because when he enacts that Righteous Might, that's on
top of the belt that he already has.
He currently has a 26
constitution. Oh man. Holy con.
He is blessed by Iomedae!
Yeah, she's looking after him. So yeah, he's got
two more of these breath weapons,
minimum, that he can live through, but
it's a matter of, can we get him down before
that point? The biggest save
of that was Baron's and yeah that
was huge while i roll for my next breath weapon it is nesters turn come on all right well he should
be able to see him now right i mean he's moving further away he keeps five foot stepping further
away what was there any issue of cover before?
What did I say?
It was like a small, small cover.
Yeah, well, I mean, as he's moving further away, that cover should be going further and further away.
Yeah, so clean shot, Nestor.
Clean shot.
And that is a 33 to hit.
That'll do, pig.
That will do.
This is the many shot, right?
Yeah, yeah. This is the many shot, right? Yeah, yeah.
This is enormous.
Huge.
That is 40 points of damage,
six of which is electricity.
Yes.
All right.
Still.
You said cold damage, right?
Cold damage.
And the second attack.
Oh!
30.
30 is a hit.
Awesome. 30 is a hit.
30 is an exact hit. What a huge round.
21.6 of which is electricity.
And the dragon dies!
Yes!
Holy shit!
AC
AC 30
You just need Nestor on the case!
AC 30 Get in! Get fucking in! AC30 You just need Nestor on the case AC30
Get in, get fucking in
Get fucking in
Umlo roll to stabilize
DC11
He passes
Umlo stabilizes
Wow
Good job
Moly
That's Nestor's first dragon, I'll tell you that Skin that thing Wow. Good job, Mowgli. Good job. Mowgli.
That's Nestor's first dragon, I'll tell you that.
Skin that thing.
You never forget your first.
Atena says,
We don't have a lot of time.
They're all going to see the dragon came through the doors.
He's going to see.
We must act quickly in order to have the power to defeat
your enemies.
Those of you who are
ready to take the step, and she's saying this
as she's walking closer to
the forge, are ready to
take the step
and worship Minderhall.
Join me
at the forge. And she
pulls out the prayer that Sir Will gave her.
Yeah.
I don't want this.
Della looks to Nestor.
Yeah, they're way over the choir loft.
He's like, yeah, gives her the okay sign.
It's just like, I'm ready for this.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's do it.
All right.
Put yourselves.
Sir Will has decided, yeah, that he is behind, obviously, Della and Baron.
They're committed to this, so he's going to try to save their lives.
And Nestor says, I want to make sure that Umlo is all right, though, before we do anything.
Yeah, so Sir Will will go and he'll lay on hands, Umlo, like, right away.
Okay, and do you want to run him to burn his final channel?
Sure.
Might as well.
I mean, we might as well do that.
Oh, Umlo's going to channel three times as well.
Once he's awake.
Oh, yes, right.
Yeah, so let me...
So that's seven off the bat for him.
Another seven.
And Aram is out of channels.
Okay.
He can cure life.
You'll get that seven, too, Zeruel.
Yeah, I took it.
Oh. Oh, I took it oh
oh I took it
and the dragon gets it as well
oh shit
should we
should we
yeah
let's kill it
can we do that
Will is standing right there
Will should do it
yeah
oh yeah
smiting this thing
this evil aligned dragon
I'll tell you right now
it's stabilized
so
alright so do your healing and then Will, what do you want to do?
He's going to kill the dragon.
Walk me through it.
Automatic craft, you're going to kill it.
What are you going to do?
Yeah, he's going to walk up with the longsword of Iomedae,
and knowing that this could very well be one of his last actions in her name,
he's like, I'm going to wipe this evil creature from the earth.
I am here to root out evil from wherever it spawns.
And the creature that dominated this is going to come.
I want to bring it here and kill it myself.
And he will slice the dragon's neck.
You slice the dragon's neck open,
and it kind of like wakes up for a second from its unconscious state,
and you see the pupils that were no longer there appear,
and from out his mouth you you hear something in Draconic.
It's like...
Enough that you could remember what that word was.
Do you speak Draconic?
I don't.
Can you repeat it?
As the light goes out of his eyes.
What did he say?
Pembroke was standing right there, too.
Do you speak Draconic?
I do, yeah.
He said Volstis.
He was dominated by Volstis?
Whoa.
I suspected that when you said that it was off the charts, but like, whoa. They killed hisas? Whoa. I suspected that when you said that it was like off the charts,
but like,
whoa.
They killed his pet.
Whoa.
Well,
because when we first saw,
didn't we see him
being perded
by that one dragon
or giant general
like in the field
we killed?
Like he showed up
at some point?
Well,
no,
I remember
we heard that Volstas
had like a dragon companion right or
was it right and then we saw it like mixing them we saw it land or like one of the generals we
killed mentioned the dragon was coming or something and they picked up larkin no they said he has a
dragon right right right were they referring to i thought they were might have been referring to
orathash but i guess they were referring to volstice. Well, you know what? That's great. I mean, that is seriously the point of being a paladin of Iomedae.
It's like if you can get answers like that and draw that sort of evil closer to you, that's what you want to happen.
So you want to find out if this dragon wasn't behind everything, who was behind this dragon?
And then I'm going to go there and take that out.
Like that's the process for a paladin of Iomedae.
Aten is like, there's no time.
There's no time if you're going to join me.
Join me now in Minderhall's name.
Please come to the other side of the forge here.
And she kind of ushers.
Who's that that already got up there?
Is that Beren?
Yeah.
That's Amon.
That's Beren.
That's Amon.
So, Beren, you're going to join in the ritual? Yes. Yeah That's Amla That's Baron That's Amla So Baron
You're gonna join in the ritual?
Uh
Yes
But
Oh man
I'll tell you
Well
I don't like it
Delish
She wants you to go
On this side here
And Nestor's in
There on that side
Um
Uh
What's his name
Aram comes like
He's now on the ground
In front of the stage That's leading there With Farron like now on the ground in front of
the stage that's leading there
with Farron up on the stage above him
and Farron is just watching on with bated breath
because she's only heard
tales of what this could be and so she's
kind of keeping her distance
not that she's afraid but she doesn't quite know
what is Umlo doing?
before we get to Beren
I'm just going to go ahead and say what I'm going to do.
Okay.
Amlo and Baron, brothers in Torag,
nod at one another
as Atena invites them up there.
Atena, blind to either of them,
doesn't notice as one stands on either side of her.
Baron pulls his gun on Atena
and Amlo pokes her with a side of heart spit.
And Baron says,
We'll read this prayer, but it can't be someone who follows Minderhall.
And it can't be someone who follows Torag.
So what perks up with this?
I want Della, the atheist, the one who believes in no god to read this prayer,
so its words will be hollow and empty upon entering this world.
Yes! Yes!
So you want your friend here to read the prayer with me.
You don't want me to read it, you want Della to read it.
I do.
Well, I'm sorry.
I need to take part in this ritual as the keeper of the forge.
And you'll kindly remove your gun and weapons from me.
If you don't choose to take part in the ritual, that's your decision.
Your tiny friend already made that decision as well.
But do not insult my guard in front of me.
She can speak with me. He, pointing to Nestor, can speak with me.
If you don't want to speak, that's your choice.
You were never meant to be a Scion.
I think the people with the weapons have the power here, Atena.
And your god is currently dormant.
If you would choose to keep your weapons on me, please stand behind me.
I would never disrespect your deity.
Do not disrespect mine.
Okay. Stand behind
you. I don't know what to
do now.
Just get out of the way, mate. Let's do
this. You don't have to do it. We'll do it.
Oh, so Nestor's gonna join.
Oh, no. Yeah, I'm totally... I'm ready for this.
Yeah. I was born for this moment.
These two... These two Torek guys are going to stand behind
and basically keep their weapons strong.
Keep their weapons trained.
She just turns over and looks in the distance
of where Sir Will is.
There's no reason she should know where you are,
but she looks right at you.
And Baron nods at Sir Will, hoping he'll join him.
Yeah, he nods back.
What a shame. What a shame.
What a shame for your brother.
She turns to face Della and Nestor on the other side.
My brother will be in Iomedae's grace in the afterlife.
If that is his path, I will not sell my soul for my brother's health.
He would not want it.
You understand little, I think, of what it means to follow a deity such as Iomide.
One who does not pander to evil deeds for some greater good.
It is good or it is not. to evil deeds for some greater good.
It is good or it is not.
It is quite clear.
And now my eyes are clear.
Your decisions could bring great danger to this place and to you.
You have free will.
You've made your choice
For hundreds of years
I've waited for this moment
Please join me
True Scions
Looking in the direction of
Della and Nestor
Oh, right here
Oh, there you are
So handsome
I thought you were blind
Son of a bitch
Where is her Where is her so handsome and what I thought you were blind son of a bitch on Nestor's face
where is her
where is her
slag giant
Fenrir
Feren is behind
you guys
I don't
I like Feren
I like Feren
Della takes her hand
takes her hand
so there are like
Della and Nestor
on the other side
so they're kind of like
reaching over the forge
and she just
starts reciting this prayer
in uh you know she's holding the disc that sir will gave her and she shouldn't be able to see
it but she can see every single word and the runes on the prayer start to light up not unlike
the runes on the drakesbane horn.
And at the conclusion of the ritual,
she pulls her hands away quickly from Della and Nestor as an enormous blast of fire catapults
from the center of the sacred forge,
sending a bright shower of sparks
throughout the entire cathedral.
At that same moment, black... Yeah! Yeah! bright shower of sparks throughout the entire cathedral.
At that same moment, black...
At that same moment,
black smoke begins
pouring from all those
chimneys that I mentioned when you first
came into the room.
All the chimneys
in the cathedral spire.
And all of a sudden, the slag pit below,
which has lain cold
for hundreds and hundreds of years,
begins to turn bright yellow
and churning
with roiling, molten slag.
She weeps.
Della and Nestor can see tears in her eyes
and she's just like
like ecstatic in a moment of ecstasy
she's like thank you
thank you so much for your help
centuries have I laid in that cursed forge
waiting for the day the scions would return and give proof to the prophecies.
Now, thanks to all of you, even you, and you too with weapons at my back,
I will be able to fulfill my destiny and help usher in a new age for Minderhall worship.
Help usher in a new age for Minderhall worship.
Now, if you please, hand over the hammer.
Hand over Akramash.
And she puts her hand very close to the fire.
Nestor and Della, you need to back up because the flames are starting to burn you,
so you guys end up backing up
closer to the edge of the slag pit
and the fire is coming up from there
and she's holding her hand out
to any of you that would give her the hammer
what does anybody say
I don't know if you remember
from what we said before but
there was a gentleman came and stole it
we don't have it we were expecting that maybe he'd
show up once we did this.
Sir, I humored your lies earlier
because I saw in you capable warriors
able of retrieving the items I needed to relight this forge.
Your friends have already insulted Minderhall
by not reciting the prayer.
I will not suffer any more insolence now that the time has come.
Give me Agrimosh!
I have sensed its presence for weeks.
Oh, he's here.
Give it to me.
Must I remind you I am the keeper of the forge,
and Agrimosh is rightfully mine.
Farron steps up, and she's like,
Atena, they're not liars.
Oh, shit.
I sense great good in them.
Oh, this bitch!
If they say they don't have the hammer, I believe them.
Silence, Farron.
She turns her head at her with milky eyes.
Do not deign to take sides against me.
After all that I've taught you about your own ancestry, you are not the forgest keeper.
You will be lucky to ever have that honor, for I have centuries left to go.
Do not stand in my way while I purge this place of heretics who would use Minderhall's name for their own vain glorious desires.
If you will not give me Aggramas,
I will be forced to take it from your corpses.
Rise, shard slags.
Rise, guardians of the forge,
and protect me in the name of Minderhall
from below in the name of Minderhall!
From below in the slag pit, these huge piles of molten lava with shards sticking out of them pop up on either side of the forge as Atena turns with all fury on all of you.
Sir Will immediately feels
as if he gets every single one
of his powers back.
Yeah!
And we'll see you next week!
Oh, God!
I knew it! I knew it!
Where's Brander?
Where's Brander?
This could all be avoided
with a simple conversation.
Where's Brander?
Where's Brander's strength?
Where's Brander?
But the Irish usually seem so nice.
