Starting point is 00:00:00 I had to go do something for my podcast. So I went downstairs and Cal was like, whoa. And I was like what? He was like, um, if something happens, you want me to come down there or? And I was like,
Starting point is 00:00:17 uh, yeah, sure. And he says, and leave Billy? We're friends that laugh. We're friends that shout. Sometimes we don't know what we're talking.
Starting point is 00:00:30 about but that won't stop us nothing can stop us well i mean it ultimately doesn't matter i guess i guess i guess for me are we going yep business changes and there's nothing you can do about it no listen man i am a thousand percent on this this is what i've texted to a few people with their videos i've said hey man i have mixed feelings same you know because because here's the thing that i don't appreciate about this, they've made Sebastian. It has nothing. I would argue to say it probably has nothing to do with him. Well, I don't agree with that.
Starting point is 00:01:30 No, that could be wrong. But I would, knowing the business and knowing how everything shakes out, I bet it has nothing to do with Sebastian. But that might be wrong. No, no, because I'm saying, all right, so let's just speculate. So they come to him and go,
Starting point is 00:01:48 because people are making it out like, he went to them, hey, I got an idea. Let's just remove everybody from this thing. That's just not true. And then you let me take over. That's just not true. So let's say series comes to him and goes, hey, we want to, we want to do the Sebastian channel. Right.
Starting point is 00:02:01 Okay. We want to do Sebastian channel. And he's like, oh, that's okay, cool. And then we're going to have, you know, comics of your ilk. And we're going to, you know, we're going to do that. And he goes, all right, cool. And then in the process, they also say, so what we're going to do is we're going to take the Raw Dog channel and we're going to turn it into your channel.
Starting point is 00:02:15 Sure. Yeah. That's believable. Okay. Now, at that point right there, he could have asked questions. Or at that point right there they said, maybe he didn't even know. He doesn't know. He doesn't know.
Starting point is 00:02:25 I get that. I get that. What does that mean? So what I'm saying is, what I'm saying is, they make you. think he knows that Jake Johansson's making some money on Rod Dog XM? That's not even my. He has no fucking idea. It's not even my point.
Starting point is 00:02:35 My point is at that point right there, so when people are making videos, the name of the person who made that choice should be in these videos. In what videos? And all these videos and all these. But nobody knows who that person is. And that's the problem with that. there because they came to him and said but because i don't understand serious had so many channels like they could have just done a big dog channel you know they could have kept raw dog make a new channel
Starting point is 00:03:00 here's your channel sebastian they could have taken away the the bluegrass channel that nobody listens to or whatever you know what i'm saying it's a hundred percent on xm only and not on sebastian yeah so now at this point and it's crazy it's crazy that comedians are are saying stuff to sebastian in a coordinated public attack. I don't like that. And what makes it even worse, and I said this on my podcast, is when the people who are like,
Starting point is 00:03:28 listen, we love you, Sebastian, you're a great guy, but dude, I had the same text I'm saying after people. You either know what you're doing or you don't, but what you're doing is inviting his life to be a living hell for a while. And you're, and you love him, but you're, I mean, now he's getting fucking handled in the, comments it sucks well one of the things too okay so here's my thing too some of the comics there
Starting point is 00:03:53 are certain comics that like i don't really know i don't know them well yeah and then i also don't know them necessarily to be a comic like i don't know what their career yeah for sure yeah i don't know but they are people who are like this is hitting them really hard okay so those people are like whoa what happened i would this was like paying my bills and all that i totally understand those people but then there's other people that sucks for them it sucks for them but then there's There's other people where I'm like, yo, you could call him. Oh, dude, no, I know. Well, that's.
Starting point is 00:04:23 And then all the terrible Sebastian impressions in every video. What is you? All that bullshit that they're doing. It's like that, that's the ones where I want to go, okay, so this is just content now. Yeah. You know, you're just being, this is. And then you know what I like to? I think a lot of these videos are like, hey, let me show you.
Starting point is 00:04:43 Hey, guys, I'm a good person and I'm a support in the community. If you were, then you would. With your video. Like, like, when did it become being a good person? All you had to do is film a video and then you, and then you go,
Starting point is 00:04:54 then you're, you're moving on with your life. No, yeah. You know, and then you go, what did we get in from Chipotle? It has nothing good with anything.
Starting point is 00:05:01 They're on the train. Yeah. They're walking down the street. It's literally the least you can do. It's hurting a friend of yours. It's just, it's just, it's just,
Starting point is 00:05:09 it's just horses shit. It's, it's, it's like, dude, you're going to go on, you're going to say, oh,
Starting point is 00:05:16 I'm a good guy. listen I love my butt you're trying to play both sides my buddy is great I got his back but do the right thing yeah fuck off bro well they have them fuck off what I think they have him at a point now where it's either he ignores it and just continues or he has to quit ignore it those are the only two options ignore it ignore it now how many of these comics would do the same fucking thing by the way all of them there you go thank you for fucking chiming in no that was a beautiful I'm in because you know they would. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:49 It's such, it's such horseshit, but people love to count everybody else's money. So one of the things you see a lot is like, you hear this a lot. Well, he's already got a lot of money.
Starting point is 00:05:58 What does he need this for? People love to count other people's money, you know? Well, this is the thing, though, I'll say this. This affects me. I actually didn't even know I was in the top 100, you know,
Starting point is 00:06:10 getting spins. So, you know, they have this list. I send it to you guys, you know, from the whatever website, They have all, they have all the data. And the thing that's strange about it is,
Starting point is 00:06:23 how did they decide this list? It's like when you go down to the earnings, you know, whatever, not even the earnings, but like whatever the spin, can keep going down. XM. Right here. These two lists right here.
Starting point is 00:06:36 So this is before. So these are all the people that were affected. So you have their names and you have in parentheses, these are their plays. So you go, okay. So then that means this is an arbitrary, like, all right, we're going to take these people off. Because if you look at the list on the March list,
Starting point is 00:06:52 and you can see all these people, these are the people that were affected. So they have the white or people that stayed on the, they stayed. They didn't take them off. You can scroll, Nick, within that, within there. No, within the, yes, thank you. So you can see, these are the people taking off. Mark Merrin's taking off. He had 43 plays.
Starting point is 00:07:11 Keep going down. You know, look at all the people that are taking up. You know, Brad Williams, Zainab, you know. You know what I mean? This is what, but this is. Oh, there's Brian Callens out. He had 42 plays. Keep going down.
Starting point is 00:07:24 This is, uh, this is, but and people think this was Sebastian's. No, no, no, no. I don't think people think that. Oh, okay. This is the part they're ignoring. What? Oh. That this is a serious XM decision in here, you know?
Starting point is 00:07:35 So these people that they put in, you know, you know what I mean? Like, it's like, you know, there I am right there. Number 57, they had 31 plays. Okay. So these are the people that they, that were there and they took them out. So these, now, when you go over to this other list. And what's the. new thing. Now you go over to this other list, the one on the right here. These are the people
Starting point is 00:07:50 that they put in. But I want to point out that they already got, look, look at the difference in spins already. Right. So like if you're going to put Jim Gaffigan, he was already getting spins. So what I don't understand is like, was he getting spins on Rod Dog or was he getting spins already on other serious channels? Go go down. Yeah. You know, so then you go, all right, so like all these people. Bob Hope, okay, yeah. Okay, but you know, Gabriel Glace is 140 spins, you know. Matt Rife was already on. He was already on. He didn't be taken off.
Starting point is 00:08:20 He had 95 spins. So what I'm saying is like this, he wasn't even taking off or on, but he wasn't on this other list, even though he has more plays. So what I'm saying is this means. So he put Jay Leno on. But this means that these are people from other channels. Yeah. They already get in plays. So what they did was they consolidated.
Starting point is 00:08:37 So what I'm saying, though, is why the other side of this for me is why didn't they just make a new channel. And then all these. people here from Pete Davidson down that only have 17 place. So they, look at Bobby Lee, 17. Six bucks. So what I'm trying to say is like Well, that's all of his material. But they're saying as they added. Twice.
Starting point is 00:08:59 I'm saying they added these people. And like, so why did you make the choice to add those people? Like they weren't even getting spin. So you, they literally went, okay, let's remove these people. Somebody made this choice. They had a dartboard and they said, okay, Eric Griffin, let's get him off.
Starting point is 00:09:16 this person let's get them off then let's add these people over here I that's the part I think they should be talking about in their fucking videos here's the here's the deal this arbitrary decision they keep talking about the dead people stop that shit let's talk about
Starting point is 00:09:31 you know look at Theo he hasn't even been on Tom Sugara 12th the platform because only had seven spins so he wasn't even on the platform so what's your point my point is somebody at Sirius decided
Starting point is 00:09:46 okay let's remove these people even though they're getting spins let's remove and these are people we've been playing they got 30 30 spins 50 spins like Ian at the top got he's getting 67 spins yeah let's remove these people look at the people at the top yeah okay I get let's remove them and we're gonna add people who who we think are more famous even if they have spins or not right so to me I don't understand how they made this choice why did they make this choice it's a personal I mean like yeah they they wanted to put what it looks like what it looks like
Starting point is 00:10:16 is XM wanted to put more recognizable people on their radio. That's what it looks like. I know, but the thing. But I don't know. I know, but the thing is like if they're, if, if, if, if there's still, people were enjoying this list. No, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if they wouldn't change it if, if it was doing well, dude.
Starting point is 00:10:38 If this was doing well, they wouldn't change it. I don't know. There's all these comics that are saying, oh, this is what supports me. Obviously, that's a lot of money going out. And they're like, not enough people are listening to support us being comedy welfare. Not enough people are listening. So XM goes, okay, we've got to shake things up. Maybe they say, maybe they say to Sebastian, who do you want to have on your thing?
Starting point is 00:11:03 And Sebastian says, we'll put the guys who are going to get you hits. Maybe. I probably has nothing to do with it. Well, okay, again, my point I'm making here is like, these are the things. things we need to know about. Like if, like, if you want to know, like, instead of blaming Sebastian and attacking him, like, Sirius could just come out, they should come out and go, yeah, look, more money was going out than was coming in.
Starting point is 00:11:29 That's exactly what it was. You know, I, that's exactly what it was, bro. Or they're saying, this isn't making enough money. Sebastian, that's what they did. They go, this isn't making enough money. Sebastian, that was how the phone call went. Or, yeah. Or it's just fine and they made a choice.
Starting point is 00:11:50 Yeah, but it's not. Anyone who thinks Sebastian is like Ian Edwards, Liz Mealy, Dawn. Hannah Gatsby, Jim Farrington, get him the fuck off the channel. Those people are crazy. Yeah, I don't think that that's what was happening,
Starting point is 00:12:06 but I still would like to know. No, it's, it's, it's, like, all they have to do is just like, listen, if they want to keep Sebastian, anyone to keep it going like this, they should step in with the financials. To stop all this. To stop all the attacks,
Starting point is 00:12:22 to you and come out and go, guys, this is what was happening. This is like, you know, because this is communism what they're trying to do. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:12:31 This is like, this is classic socialism right here where they're like, hey, government support us. Look at this. When page six reached out to Manuscalco's rep for comment,
Starting point is 00:12:40 they referred to us to, they referred us to Syria, which sent a state, that didn't exactly suggest a rush to return to its role as a benefactor to Comedy's Middle Cross. This is another thing. It's like, dude, I'm sorry, but like XM, they're not responsible for paying your rent. I wish that actors could do this with SAG. Yeah. I wish I could look at my residuals and be like, my residuals stopped for the show that I was on.
Starting point is 00:13:12 Look, this, for people like, whoever you want to say, Ian, Me, me, I was on there. You. You. It sucks. It sucks. There's no way it doesn't suck. You know, I'm not saying good. I'm saying it sucks and this is what they did.
Starting point is 00:13:30 And there's nothing. You bitching about it online and blaming Sebastian is fucking. That is. That is bitch shit. Well, one person that I spoke to about it was just because I said, well, what can Can he do? My question to like two people I talk to him. What's he supposed to do? They really think that he can just go, hey, let's bring all those people back. And that's laughable. You know, like I don't, I don't really think he can do that. That's laughable. I think I think like I said, Dave put him in a position. I mean, he could say that. They're not going to go, okay and not do it or no. I think that he's in a position now where he has to quit. No. Here's the deal. Here's the answer. Here's the answer. Here's the answer. Here's the answer. For. me honestly this is the answer he to to for the community's sake they're saying you got to do this because we we got each other we got each other's backs dude if you had each other's backs you would fucking
Starting point is 00:14:29 reach out to him privately you would not you would not put him on blast and blame him when it's not his fault okay and and if this is the way the community was going to react to you doing this the community never had your back don't give me start It doesn't have your back. It never had your back. And there's your answer right there. Sebastian should be like, oh, you guys showed your true colors. This isn't my fault.
Starting point is 00:14:54 It's the next time thing. You're putting me out here to, you know, to be filleted in front of everybody. And you know what? I'm going to keep my fucking channel now. And congratulations to me on my 20 fucking sold out shows in Madison Square Garden. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck that, dude.
Starting point is 00:15:11 And, and, and, you know, I don't, you know, I'm, look, I'm going to get so many fucking videos about this. Crystalia fucking sucks. Dude, I don't hate the people who fucking, like a lot of my friends made these videos. Yeah, me too. And I'm like, dude, I was asked. I was asked to do a video. Yeah. I was just like, I need, I need more information.
Starting point is 00:15:33 I texted them. I was like, yo, bro, why don't you just text them, you know? Well, again, again, my point about this is I think that they should have just made a new channel. You're acting like that's just an easy thing to do You don't know Well I think it is an easy thing to do They do it all the time They make channels all the time
Starting point is 00:15:48 New channel coming Elvis channel Then they go oh okay we're gonna do the whatever channel It's serious They can do whatever the hell they want So I want to go further than just like They went to Sebastian I think listen honestly I think he did know that this was gonna happen
Starting point is 00:16:01 He didn't In the process of the No there's no way that he didn't know That they were gonna they were gonna remove people I just don't think he understood The impact of it I would I would venture to say, I bet he didn't even know.
Starting point is 00:16:14 I bet he didn't even know. I know if I'm in that situation, I go, do whatever you got to do. Just name the channel after me. Okay, cool. Yeah, but. And then they say, well, we're going to do this. I don't listen. 100%.
Starting point is 00:16:24 And that's, that would be on me. But like, yeah. I know, but, but, okay, what I'm saying, though, is like, listen, let me, let me say this again. I, whether he knew or not, there was a point where he must have known. But what I'm saying is the people that put him in that position, or the people that should be the video should be made about. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:45 And that will never happen. That's what I'm saying. They put him in this position, though they should be added to the video. Because now what's happening, this is what is happening with all these comics that made their videos and with their like, sort of like foe. He's a good guy, all those stupid videos. Don't even get started on that. The content creators who farm for content now, they have now jumped in and they don't care about.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Oh yeah, absolutely. 100%. care about Sebastian. You lit the fuse and now you're going like this. Well, my video, I said I liked him. It's okay, but now, because now today it's all the comedy community is attacking Sebastian. It is truly idiotic. You know what I mean? So now it's turned into that and then serious is just sitting there like this. They're like the gun companies. You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. For sure. They're the ones that make the guns and they're sitting here like this and we just keep talking about, you know, you know, this is, I don't know, man. I just, like I said, when I see the spins and I just
Starting point is 00:17:39 wonder like how did they make this choice? 84 spins for Hannah Gatsby? Wow. So she's already, like I'm saying, she's already getting a lot of spins. She's out though. She's out though.
Starting point is 00:17:46 I know. So then why would you take someone who you give 84 spins to? Right. Give it to someone on this list over here. The new guy? Paul Rodriguez? Yeah. Bobby Kelly,
Starting point is 00:17:56 I don't know. Who are some of these guys in the bottom of the list here? Like, okay. Oh, over them? Yeah. Over there? Like, yeah. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:18:03 I'm like, okay. Like, like, so Ray Romano wasn't obviously on the list at all. So now he is, he got seven. place. Well, look at this. So I don't get it. Sebastian's friends with Steve Byrne and Steve Byrne's out. Sebastian didn't do this.
Starting point is 00:18:16 Not. Yeah. No, I know. I know. But what I'm saying is there had, what I'm saying is he didn't know that it was going to be like this. No, I know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:23 You know, it's like, oh, well, what is the actual impact of this? Yeah. I don't think he knew that. Yeah. But I think there was a point where he knew that this would like, oh, they were moving people to do this. Who are somebody? But it's his channel.
Starting point is 00:18:34 You know, I don't, I don't, I just. I don't think that making it all about him is the play. I don't think that services anyone but the internet. Also, why are there only 100? Why does it matter?
Starting point is 00:18:50 Oh, oh, oh, oh. This is just the top 100. Over the list goes on. So they still play some of these guys just not as much. No, no, no. They removed over. People from their library.
Starting point is 00:18:59 Yeah, they removed like 500, whatever it is. And then now they've added, you know, they've consolidated it down. So I think that they took, people off other channels. I put them here. Like how many,
Starting point is 00:19:09 how many comedy channels does XM have? That's the question I want to know. You know, like four or five, I don't know. Right. I haven't, honestly,
Starting point is 00:19:17 I haven't looked in fucking years because of Spotify and Apple music and everything else. Why didn't people come back to Kevin Hart? I guess he didn't get rid of shit. Yeah, because they, you know why?
Starting point is 00:19:26 Because they added a channel. They added, got it. That's what I'm saying. They just added a channel. I see. So you have the Comedy Central Radio, which I'm sure,
Starting point is 00:19:34 you know, you're going to get, still get plays there. You know, look, look, you have pure comedy. So there are people are already getting plays there.
Starting point is 00:19:41 The comedy grates. They're getting plays there. That's where the dead people should go. Right, right. For sure. Conan O'Brien has a radio store. Did they remove anything there?
Starting point is 00:19:49 No, they just said, oh, let's make a channel. A serious X-XM comedy club. They said, oh, so that's where they still get plays. Yeah, no, this is all. So what I'm saying is, all these people on the list get plays on all these channels.
Starting point is 00:19:59 Yeah, maybe I don't know. So what they did was they just removed. No, I, yeah, I get it. Okay, so just, all right, there you go. Yeah, that's what I'm trying to figure out what did they do. Okay, yeah, I get it. Well, I can't wait to tune into Sebastian Madaskol's channel. You didn't have Sirius.
Starting point is 00:20:13 Well, I, maybe I do. I don't know. I had it for a little while. It's just, it's overwhelming. Now I'm getting it because I want to check out Sebastian's channel. I want to check out Bob Hope. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, he's probably in the comments already.
Starting point is 00:20:25 Yeah, but no, he's in, Sebastian added him. Sebastian's channel better. Sebastian, Sebastian added him. Yeah, so I just think. Oh, no, no, I'm sorry, XM added him to the Sebastian channel. So look, man, I'm all about, I want like facts and I want, of course, but people just want content. So I want more information, more facts. And I think that there's more to this story than just blaming Sebastian is my point. There's more to this story. There's more to how
Starting point is 00:20:47 this deal went down. You should look at their channel and find, okay, so they have six channels now altogether. So they were, so they were playing these people on that channel because you're not a comedy great, uh, whoever's over here that they check off. Yeah. I'm not a comedy great. Okay. So they put me, they were playing me on Raw Dog. Or maybe they play me on some of the other channels. I think there's more to this and it's turned into an attack on my friend and I don't like that. Of course, but you're a real one. You know, I don't like that.
Starting point is 00:21:16 I'm loyal to my friends. You're not, you're a person. Until, till I get new information. Yeah. Okay, let me get the information, you know? So, and I don't think we have the information. No. So what are we doing?
Starting point is 00:21:28 You assume the best because you know he's a good guy. Yeah. Fuck these, fuck this. But this world we live in right now is guilty until proven guilty. And if you're not found guilty, they attack the process. Right, right, right, right, right, right. That's how everything works now. Right, right, right.
Starting point is 00:21:43 With the, you know, with the case against the rape thing at Cornell. Yeah, yeah, yeah. These guys are now guilty until proven guilty. And if they're not found guilty, well, the patriarchy, you know what I mean? Right. So then you go, oh, well, then there's no winning then. Right. There's no due process at all.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Yeah. I need some due process. with this is all I'm saying okay yeah yeah I support this sucks it sucks for me I'm selling out everywhere I got I'm hustling my yeah yeah yeah make ends me yeah and I just lost this thing but I still want due process right okay yeah and anybody on this list of serious think came and said hey uh whoever on the list here's uh you know you want $250,000 we're gonna we're gonna make you a charge of this channel and then this is the choice but we're doing this how many of them would be like they would

I said, if you had a or do you think you'd have people in paper parking? He said, yeah. I never thought of them the same after that.
Starting point is 00:24:06 This is fucking 25 years ago. He's one of my best friends, but I always think of that. All right, let's talk about something else. Do you like New York? I liked it. Did you live in New York at all, ever? For a year?
Starting point is 00:24:19 You lived in New York for a year? Well, I went to NYU. I stayed there for a year, yeah. Just hold on a second. Time out. You went to NYU? For a year and then I dropped out. I went to USC for a couple years and I dropped out.
Starting point is 00:24:30 Oh, wow. Look at us. Look at that, man. Fuck education. No, I like New York. I wouldn't ever want to live in New York. Yeah. Because I think it's, but I'm going to tell you some of the things I like about New York.
Starting point is 00:24:40 I'm going to tell you something that happened while I was there. Okay. I love how ethnic New York is. Yeah, yeah, it's great. But like, but like this though. Like you could go to like, you can go to a cleaners. Yeah. But it'll be a Venezuelan cleaner.
Starting point is 00:24:50 Right, right, right, right, right. You'd be like, is this a new race? It's like, I love how they do that. You can go like, you know, you go to a TV repair shop, but it's a Polish TV repair shop. Right, right, right, right. So I go into this Russian barbershop because I'm going, I'm at the premiere of, I went to the premiere of Bohemoth.
Starting point is 00:25:06 Yeah. You know, so I wanted to get a good haircut. So I go into this Russian, just all these old Russian dudes, you know? They're just sitting there, they're waiting for people. You know what I mean? Just like this, you know, call me, you know. And I'm like, all right, cool, man. So I sat, this old dudes do my hair.
Starting point is 00:25:21 And I said, look, man, I'm going to this movie premiere. Can you like, you know? He was like, I got you, you know. And it was so, I can only describe it as his hands, his hands were homophobic because there was nothing sensual about it.
Starting point is 00:25:37 Oh wow, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, like, he had to, like, he had did my beard and everything. Like, there was nothing that was like, you know, everything was like, it was strong. Like, he wiped my face with a towel. He almost ripped my skin off.
Starting point is 00:25:50 Yeah. Maybe he was fighting demons, you know? Maybe he's gay. I just felt like he was like, no, I get it. Yeah. It was like, I was like, I was like, this is a man holding me right now.
Starting point is 00:25:59 Yeah, yeah. There's a man touching my face. It was so, it was, you know, and I got a really great cut. And I was like, thanks, man. You look sharp. You should just be like, do it like a woman, dude. I said, can you be a little? I was thinking, can you be a little softer?
Starting point is 00:26:14 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Could you have to rub my eyebrows off my face, man? God. But it was like, you know, it was just, I just love that about New York, man. Like, just like, you know, you're just walking down the street. Yeah. It's a special, and it's like, sell, you know, it's just not like that in L.A. no no and if it is you've got to
Starting point is 00:26:31 they're deep in the valley and then they're removed from everywhere and then there's not another one for fucking blocks yeah in New York it's like yeah York it's like you know it's so I don't know they you feel like you're walking it feels like you're walking into a new dimension like like I walked into Russia
Starting point is 00:26:48 yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah like you know if I went outside another door I'd be like it'd be snowing right yeah yeah yeah just felt like that but I loved it yeah and the premiere was good man good good time yeah New York's
Starting point is 00:27:01 New York and L.A. are the two things there are two cities that kind of like I don't know to me like never really recovered from COVID but I think New York
Starting point is 00:27:10 recovered more than L.A. Yeah. I think yeah I think LA just is it's I don't New York you used to be able to do anything at any time and you can't anymore but it's still I think it still
Starting point is 00:27:19 is more alive than L.A. Okay well I haven't been there in maybe a year or two so I don't know I'm with you though I just I don't I feel like a lot of cities just have and recovered for COVID, but like this, like, I just think our city is just like, man, you know, like, you're ever, you're ever out at like 10 p.m.?
Starting point is 00:27:36 It's crazy. And you think to yourself, I want to get something to eat. And then you, you remember pre-COVID, oh, there was that one spot. Now that spot's either gone or they closed it at 7.30. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, and you're just like, well, what happened? No, it's weird. It's a shame.
Starting point is 00:27:52 I don't know. And then that, and then that's, I don't know. And then now with these freaking, with the gas prices, you know, you know, you're, You're like, you know, I had to fill Rachel's car up. I was like, $100. Oh, yeah, yeah. A hundred dollars? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:05 A little Sebastian. Yeah. It's just crazy. Here's what I don't get. Why do they raise the gas prices? Oh, dude, you're asking me, bro? No, no, but this is the... I talk about pants.
Starting point is 00:28:19 This is the process. If we're at war and gas is hard to get, and so they have to raise the prices, then why do these companies have record profits. Yeah. That doesn't make sense. Because it only hurt, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:33 You can't have record profits if gas is hard to get. And you have to charge us more. No, the people at the top will make sure they make the money. Well, they, period. You shouldn't promote that. They shouldn't be saying that. We shouldn't be able to find out Chevron record profits. It's probably, it's probably legal.
Starting point is 00:28:51 Legally, you can find that out. I don't know if you can, maybe you can't hide that, you know, because it's got to be public record, whatever is what I'm trying to say. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know. It just sucks. I just think that sucks. It all sucks.
Starting point is 00:29:01 I mean, dude, did you see what Trump said the other day about... Which one? Which thing? About bombing. What do you say? Los Angeles or was it... San Diego, Los Angeles. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:09 What do you say? I mean, it might be the worst thing any president ever said. Victory, you want to see a tremendous victory because it verifies all the things we did. And again, remember, with the word, just artificial, it's a little bit high. It's a small price to pay for keeping the world safe. our country safe. They could take out a city. Let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego. That's, this is a very small price to pay and it's going to be open very soon. It's essentially a small price to pay. Does this guy understand that California? They always say they have a big
Starting point is 00:29:47 threshold for pain. They need it. Let me tell you. They need it. But it's going to end very soon. And it'll end one way or the other and your gas and your gasoline and all of the things. What is he saying? Nothing. Because I don't really know. He's just joking. I think he threw in the Los Angeles San Diego thing. I think he was saying the high gas prices right now
Starting point is 00:30:07 are a small price to pay, I think. No, no, no, I told. It's weird how I'd give him the benefit of the doubt, but. No, no, no, I think it is that. I think I think he's just saying like, you know, what? I think he's just saying like, look, look, we're in a fight. And when you're in a fight, you lose some things. And then he just threw that in as like an offhanded, anecdotal, you know, like,
Starting point is 00:30:26 you know, hey, maybe we, if they're going to attack us, yeah, take out Los Angeles because I hate all the liberals there. That was the, that was just part of the sentence he didn't say. Yeah, but that's awful. Of course it is. Even if he's kind of saying it. He's been awful like this. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:30:41 From jump. I know that. I know that. Well, it's been a little bit like, you know, he's, he's, he's desensitized us to. Right. But I'm saying, he hasn't been a presidential, like, whatever we mean, whatever we, think whatever he's he's shattered that illusion that's just awful that we think that you know a president should talk and act a certain way he's shattered that like like when when bill clinton got his dick
Starting point is 00:31:07 sucked okay that was like we were like oh my god it rocked the nation that the president could act like that yeah if he got his dick sucked right now trump oh god nobody would care no probably is he's exactly nobody would even like he he'd have come on six dresses He could be fucking sucking dick And they wouldn't care So what I'm saying Is he has lowered the bar For being presidential
Starting point is 00:31:32 So low Then now it's just kind of like No Like I think that somebody would be You can't say that kind of stuff But even when they write speeches for him now He starts doing it Yeah
Starting point is 00:31:42 I know And then he just like he starts to riff Yeah I think this is also in Nebraska I think he thought these people Were gonna like cheer wildly When he said that But they were
Starting point is 00:31:51 Seemed like they were kind of horrified Yeah Yeah Yeah Because, you know why? Because everybody in Nebraska wants to go to L.A. Yeah. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:32:00 Don't pick the city. Like, 30% of the population of the entire United States lives in California. How many people went to this thing? I don't know. Hey, you know what this makes me think before the internet, before 24-hour news cycles, imagine the things people were saying when they were on the campaign trail. I mean, it was back in the day you could just say whatever you wanted and nobody would even know. I guess, except for it was definitely not this bad.
Starting point is 00:32:25 There's no way. But you could say whatever you want it, you know? Yeah, you could except for, yeah, sure. But you didn't say bomb Los Angeles. Yeah. I don't, I think this is a first. I think this is a first. You think?
Starting point is 00:32:38 Yeah, I don't know. But it's, but you know what happens when he said stuff like that? Yeah. And then you know how everything's so polarizing. Everybody picks aside, like all the Trump people. And I don't think they're even Trump people. I just think they're anti-democrat people. I think they're anti-liberal.
Starting point is 00:32:54 Right. ideals and now they hear that what can you say? No if what are you gonna say what do all you people say all the podcasters that had Trump on and all those kind of people like you have to be looking at yourself now just being like oh this guy is really
Starting point is 00:33:08 a piece of work it sucks that he he did that now he's making those people look a certain way I just think that's what's wrong with him he just you know he's just about himself oh yeah yeah yeah yeah sucks you know what I mean it's like now you have to like backtrack it's like come on man
Starting point is 00:33:24 Yeah sucks I don't know I kind of like what Zach Gelfanakis said about how he was like Why didn't you He's like
Starting point is 00:33:35 I wanted to have Hillary Clinton On my show And they said But you can't ask her about the emails And he said Then I don't want to have her on the show Oh all the Bill Maher talks about this all the time
Starting point is 00:33:45 Bill Maher's like He asked those people to come on all the time And they just say no Right Right Right It's weird. Right.
Starting point is 00:33:55 You know? Because they don't, because they, because the whole point is, if you're a comedian, you want to do it your way, you want to do it your way and you want to do it funny and you don't, you can't let them control it. And that's why it was like, it's like such a get. Like, you know, it's like, yeah, you want, I would have wanted to see Theo. Mm-hmm. Talk to Camela Harris. You know what I mean? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:19 Well, yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like, like, like, he, like, that's the person you go, like, Trump, like, imagine like, Trump to see, okay, I'll go talk. to talk to that guy. In Theo's defense, he probably tried to get her. No, no, no, no, no, I know. But I'm just saying people are like, why do you have this person on, not that person on? A lot of that has to do with because the person doesn't want to fucking go on. They all asked the other side and they didn't want to come. No, that's what I'm saying. It's like, why not? Yeah. That's what you want to like, that's what you should. Like, the dude
Starting point is 00:34:46 had like Theo had, what's is it? Bernie Sanders on. You know, you're like, okay. He just had fucking what's his name on? Mondani. Yeah. You know, you know, like you want to see these people. Monadani's a piece of work, man, by the way. He don't want to answer, no questions. But anyway. Well, you saw it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. This dude, I follow a lot of these other things that they were like breaking down.
Starting point is 00:35:06 Like, you know, like, Theo asked him like, so Tim, what's socialism? Explain it. That dude didn't explain shit. Yeah. That dude is a con man. All right? And you know who he learned it from? He learned it from Trump.
Starting point is 00:35:18 Yeah. That's obvious, though. He's one of the guys that was like, I got to do what this guy's doing. But I got to do it for the other side. I mean, it's crazy. But anyways. have go like the other side just never wants to go talk to anybody yeah and I don't get that I know I know it makes you who who's more full of shit like the person that's like out there right you know right like I don't even
Starting point is 00:35:38 think there was like too many things that Theo couldn't ask Trump right well I don't yeah not really you're saying you go imagine the president of the United States you just the president of the United States goes on a podcast with with Theo and Theo doing his thing and they're just talking and whatever. And then the other side is like, no, well, if we do come, here's 75 things you can't say or do. It's like, what? No, that.
Starting point is 00:36:01 You don't come across. There's a real person. And they didn't review the episode too, which I thought was wild. Whoa. You know why? Because it doesn't matter. He can say blow up Los Angeles and no one cares. They're not going to take him out of office for it.
Starting point is 00:36:14 He's like that. He was like, what are they going to do? Oh, bro. I think I've seen this. It's a little older, but I came up on my feet again. What is it? What is it? It's some weird place where they,
Starting point is 00:36:23 serve and cook the steak on the thing and she's just listening to what she says about the sauce. I haven't seen this. Both sides of your steak for about 10 to 15 seconds, okay? I'd like to push it right into the stone like this. Kind of let it sit there, let it hang out. We all know how to see your steak, right? All right. For demonstration purposes, I'm just going to show you real quick.
Starting point is 00:36:42 The salt is supposed to prevent sticking. It doesn't always work that way, so you can take your knife and cut as close to the stone as you can, okay? Are you okay with butter on your steak? Yeah. Yes. This is our casino butter. My one rule is that this butter does not go directly on the stone. I don't know if you guys have cooked with a cast iron before, but it's not like that.
Starting point is 00:37:00 It's not going to like season the stone. It's just going to burn the butter. Okay? So this is going to go right on my steak. And then I'm going to start cutting my steak into bite-sized pieces. Isn't it their steak? What the fuck is this shit? I think they might all get their own.
Starting point is 00:37:17 Put it loose. Cut a couple pieces off. When we leave a steak on the stone hole, it's not going to cook through the way we want it to. So I'm gonna start with something small like this and put this back where it originally came from. Now, for times, it'll be about 15 seconds here for rare, 25 for medium rare, 35 for medium, 45 for midwale. What is this shit? All right. And you just gotta keep it moving a little bit.
Starting point is 00:37:40 No, just like, what is this place? The yellow sauce that you guys see on the side is our rock sauce, it's like a zip sauce. Okay. The yellow sauce on the side is their rock sauce. It's like a zip sauce. Okay. Thank you. You're welcome.
Starting point is 00:37:50 Thank you. Yeah. And medium, I'll have she. That looks like shit. That looks terrible. Why don't you go to a restaurant where you have to cook the food? What? And then spend the...
Starting point is 00:38:05 This went viral? And spend the... A little while, though. Kind of. And why? Because people hate it. That everything about it. It's a bad steak.
Starting point is 00:38:13 It's a lot of work. I'm sure it's expensive. This is what I'm saying. So you go to a restaurant where they're not cooking the food, but you're paying their cooking the food prices. What is a zip sauce? I don't know, dude. What is it?
Starting point is 00:38:28 It's the name of their food. sauce. I don't know. It's a yellow sauce. It's kind of like a rock sauce. What is a rock sauce? I don't know. What the fuck? This is crazy. This is like one of those Rick and Morty channels in the fucking universe where they have interdimensional TV or whatever. The fuck is that thing?
Starting point is 00:38:44 This is terrible. Do you ever go to places that have too much, I don't know. Like theater with the food? No, I mostly try not to. I mean, maybe when I was a teenager, I have been there, but I don't know, man.
Starting point is 00:39:01 We went to a Poppy Steakhouse with Theo one time in Miami, and they turn off all the lights and they play Thunderstruck as they bring out the steak. There's a strobe light and shit. Well, if you think about it, it was insane. If you strip away everything, man, and you're in a room that's a restaurant, if you strip away everything that you literally just, like in a room with a set. It's a set. It's like a podcast set, you know?
Starting point is 00:39:28 And if they took all that away and all you had was the food, if you still want to eat there, that's a great place. Yeah, yeah. But a lot of times it's just a lot of all that. Your food sucks. The food sucks. But what is that? A fucking steak cake? Oh, that's a brownie.
Starting point is 00:39:45 Okay. Stupid idiot. Who the fuck knows, man? The Black Rock Bar and Grill. Yeah. I don't like that, but it is making me hungry. That's, that's, I'm. telling you right now.
Starting point is 00:39:59 I ate like an asshole yesterday. That better not be like, I bet you it's so expensive. It's not cheap, dude. Fucking. Why do, why do, that's funny.
Starting point is 00:40:13 Why do they say, why do they do, why do they say like, oh, liberals, one of their talking points is everything is more, more expensive, uh, than it is,
Starting point is 00:40:24 everything is more expensive than it used to be. But it's not. It is. is. Well, the statistically, I just saw a thing about it. Yeah, I don't understand. Like, like gas prices, I guess statistically,
Starting point is 00:40:38 they were more expensive during the Biden presidencies. Okay, but. Biden, Biden and Obama. Like, Biden, Obama, like, whatever. Whatever it was, they were showing like a graph of like this, but who knows where they get disinformation? Sure, that's fine.
Starting point is 00:40:53 Okay. But what I know is, for me, everything is more expensive now. Yeah. I mean, when I go, I go, it's that much? Well, I think that people are using, I think the places that we're going are also using this as a reason to raise their prices too, though. Like, I don't think that they, I don't think they actually have to be expensive. They're just going as expensive.
Starting point is 00:41:12 Like, I went to a place like, you know, you ever like, I got a burrito and a drink, like when I was, you know, in New York. And it was $36. Right. You know, and I just stopped and I was like, what? That's crazy. I was like, what? But you pay. I'm like, okay.
Starting point is 00:41:27 Yeah, right. But I mean, listen, I always say like a lot of people are doing self-inflation. So, like, if you shop at Air One, I don't want to hear you talking about prices. Of course. You need to shut the fuck up. Of course. And get out of the way of the people that are really struggling. Like, if you're going to places that, like, it's already expensive.
Starting point is 00:41:46 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, sure, of course. You know, you've got Haley Bieber shaking your head talking about the prices right now. I'm like, get out of here. Right. That's a very good point. You know, so I don't know.
Starting point is 00:42:00 I mean, you can still complain, but don't make a whole fucking thing of it. Don't make a thing of it. But yeah, they have like some kind of like. So. Yeah, so this is like... What is this? This is gasoline in the country. Well, that was COVID, though.
Starting point is 00:42:13 June 22. Oh, okay, never mind. It was basically the middle of Biden presence. So $5 a gallon. And what is it now, though? 420 and that's the average? Yeah, but I feel like in California. Yeah, in California is a whole thing.
Starting point is 00:42:28 I don't even understand it. Well, does that have to do with more with, what's his name? Newsom? Yeah. Well, they're all fucking crooked. Well, dude, all the blue states have the worst cities. They're all crooked, yeah. We have the worst crime.
Starting point is 00:42:42 We have the worst prices. We have the worst infrastructure. God. So fucking stupid. With this Karen, what's the name? Karen Bass? What's your name? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:50 She's a fucking idiot with all the. But that's what I'm saying, though, man. These are the charts that they're looking at and they're being like, well, actually, and then you look, you go back to when was, when was, when was Trump in office the first time, you know? 2016. You get a great year. So 16 to 20 looks lower than the 10 to like, you know, then you can see when Obama was
Starting point is 00:43:11 in office. So that's the, these are kind of these statistics. Imagine gas is $2. Look, in 2009 or whatever it was. Jesus Christ. That's, that's insane. I know, man. Wow.
Starting point is 00:43:26 It's pretty crazy. Then it's like, I don't even. know you go to the gas station and you're just kind of like you look and you go what i could i could never imagine that there's a six on that number yeah but check this up they'll be a 10 but look up europe what is it more oh my god all right yeah of course dude they're paying what is it like 12 gal 12 dollars 12 pounds or something like that you know for their gas you know what are their average gas prices it's like something astronomical people would go bankrupt here what is this in March it jumped just to fill your car like you know but they have like that's why they have all
Starting point is 00:44:04 those different types of cars and you know hmm let's get a horse and also have like you know you got your trains you have your public like the los angeles is lacking in a lot of stuff yeah i know i know i know so i don't know it's so crazy bro that's uh yeah and they're paying in like whatever their money is over there which is like better than our money so it's like like, you know, that's why they love. People from London, people from England love coming to, like, to the states to go shopping. Because they're like, what? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:42 You can get this for, you know. It's just like, like, go home with like six bags of like full of stuff that they can't get. Yeah. You know, but, you know, there's, you know, the different restrictions over there. I don't, I don't know. I don't. Did you, were your parents, like, religious at all? Did you, like, pray before you eat, eat or, like, pray for you when you don't
Starting point is 00:45:02 Did you say like bedtime prayers or anything like that? Maybe a little bit. I don't think so. Not really. Yeah. I was thinking about that. We went to church and stuff, but not, not, it wasn't like, say grace before you eat. Maybe we did a few times.
Starting point is 00:45:13 Yeah. I remember my mom used to like do that, like, what's that weird nighttime prayer, you know? Now I lay me down to sleep. Yeah. One, two, Freddy's coming for you. Yeah. Yeah. But you know what?
Starting point is 00:45:27 It very much is like that because it says like, if I die before I wake. Yeah. I pray the Lord my soul to take. You're like, what? That was a prayer. You're fucking seven. Look at it. That's it.
Starting point is 00:45:40 Now look at a gentler version. Wow, that's hilarious. Jesus, yeah. I'll say that's way better. They've made it. They said, we had it like, this is a, yeah, man. That was a, that's like a scary movie prayer at the top now if you think about it. I mean, die before I wake is crazy.
Starting point is 00:46:00 And then, and then. I was saying that, man. And then soul. to take is like you get sucked out of you is crazy yeah the freddie krooger one up top and then they changed it i was just i was thinking about it today as i was waking up you know i was just looking at wolf and i was like i was like oh man he's i don't know what you wake up and you just go salt to take yeah i was looking at him like why would i what in me would make him like say this like i don't have any belief system right right right in saying that but even if you had a
Starting point is 00:46:30 were completely deeply religious you'd be like why would the fuck would i want to to make him scared. Yeah, this... I don't understand. Mento Mori, kids got to learn. What's that? That's like the Latin phrase, remember you're going to die.

Starting point is 00:46:58 well, hold on a second. Can my soul be taken tonight? Boy, do you know it, man? You know what I mean? Like now you have to go through this whole explanation. Football season is heating up. It's so good. This football season is great.

Starting point is 00:48:49 But they took their clothes off. They went in the bath. I had to go do something for my podcast. So I went downstairs and Cal was like, whoa. And I was like what? He was like, if something happens, you want me to come down? there or? And I was like, uh, yeah, sure. And he says, and leave Billy. And I said, well, yeah, you can,
Starting point is 00:49:21 yeah, sure, I guess so. You could just, you know, come out and then yell or just yell from here. And he says, if I get out of the tub and I come all the way downstairs or at least to the stairs, I'm going to make the floor all wet. he said so and he's six and I was like I started laughing I was like well yeah it just that's okay there's like a towel
Starting point is 00:49:49 here on the ground so just wipe your feet on it and then come down and he goes like this okay got it swear to God it's almost like anyway let me make my experiments you know what I mean it's like You know we should get him
Starting point is 00:50:04 You should get him as a walkie-talkie. Oh, well, we tried, yeah, no, yeah, we tried. Is he like, this Calvin, Dad, you're a year ago? Yeah, so I took one step. It's a little wet. Yeah. Dad, come back. We have a situation up here.
Starting point is 00:50:18 Oh, man, it was so funny. I'm talking, I'm like, what is, you know, it's beautiful, but like, what is he thinking? Like, he's just, I mean, this is me. This is what I did. Oh, that's where you got it from. Yeah, yeah, yeah, 100%. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:32 I mean, it's like, you know, I, I am fascinated by, like, watching Wolf's brain work, you know? Yeah. Like two and a half, he just, you know, comes and he says, he says this a lot. What are you doing? Mm-hmm. You know, I think he just says it just to say it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He sees, you know, I'm clearly drinking a coffee.
Starting point is 00:50:52 What are you doing? Yeah. I'm drinking. So funny. I'm drinking a coffee. He goes, okay, you know. People might think he means high or something. Yeah, and I said, well, what are you doing?
Starting point is 00:51:01 Yeah, yeah. You know? And then he starts, now I can't understand anything he's saying. Right, right, right. What are you doing? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:09 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, whatever you just said, let's do that. Dude, you know what I mean? Billy says, well, that, he'll just like, be like, that doesn't make sense. That's his thing. Does he say that? He keeps saying it. Oh, I love it.
Starting point is 00:51:26 He keeps saying. Where do he learn it from? I think Calvin, or one of us said it, I guess. And then Calvin, but he goes, he has like this SpongeBob toy that he had in his crib and he brought it downstairs. And then Calvin started playing with it. And Billy's like, no, I want it there. Like, and Calvin was like, all right, all right, Billy. And he put it on the floor.
Starting point is 00:51:46 And Billy was like, more, more right. He doesn't know what right or left is. Yeah, yeah. More right. And Calvin fixed it. And Billy goes, okay. And I say, hold on a second. It's like, Billy, no, Calvin, you don't do that.
Starting point is 00:51:58 You don't do that because he wants it there. if he wants to play with it okay if he doesn't then you can play with it he says okay and he grabs it and billy says but that doesn't make sense oh so funny we take it last night this is okay so you know when they're two and a half they do that age they you know when they want something they just get overwhelmed yeah you know what I mean so it'll be something like this let's say this is a drink he has in a sypby cup and then like you know I said we want a straw and if I put the straw and if he didn't want the straw, he will burst out into tears. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:33 You know what I mean? Yeah. You know what I mean? So like, or he'll say this. I say, do you want this? And then he, instead of saying no, he just has a tantrum. Yeah. So I had it, he had his like dinosaur tour at the restaurant last night, you know?
Starting point is 00:52:47 And I was like, what do you? Just say no. I said, it's okay to say no. So I did a thing with him. So I took his dinosaur tour and I said, watch, do you want to, you want a chip, you know? And I, I'm like, no. And then I said, you want a chip? No.
Starting point is 00:52:58 I said, this is you. You want a chip? Eh! That's good. And he was cracking up. Yeah. Yeah, they liked that. You know, he was cracking up.
Starting point is 00:53:07 So then I said, now watch, you want a chip? No. You want a chip? No. This is you. Yeah. And then I said, then he did it. I said, do you want this?
Starting point is 00:53:15 He went, no. That's good parenting. And I was like, I did it. That's good. That feels good. You don't know how to. Yeah. You know, you don't know how to.
Starting point is 00:53:23 Yeah. But you know, you know, I really do. I saw a great interview with Seinfeld on Neil Brennan's podcast talking about that there's a part of your brain it opens up when you have a kid and I totally understand that I think there's a piece of your brain that is waiting for you to become a parent and once you become a parent a different type of patience opens up a different type of understanding opens up because you know in my special I'm talking about don't bring kids to restaurants right now I'm sitting in a restaurant with wolf he's got two chopsticks in his hands and he's banging on the wall
Starting point is 00:53:53 you know and I'm like who have I become you know what I'm right who am I now and here's another one too like we're watching I'm trying to watch my TV I'm trying to watch my show. He's laying in a bed with two dinosaurs that make noises. Right. You hit the tail and it goes, and just nonstop. I'm watching my show.
Starting point is 00:54:11 Yeah. I'm watching the lantern finale. Well, you got to put the things on, the subtitles, yeah. Yeah, and he's just doing the thing, and I just realized to myself, I was like, oh, man, this would have ticked me off. Yeah, yeah. Like three years ago, if I was in a hotel room
Starting point is 00:54:23 and I heard fucking dinosaurs. Yeah. Dude, I was at the airport yesterday, and yeah yesterday and I realized there was a kid just having fun screaming at the fucking kids station and I was like oh man he's been doing that forever I didn't realize it yeah yeah yeah yeah it's like a weird I think it's a weird thing maybe and now you look over at a parent with a terrible kid now and you just kind of go I get it not me not me dude do it better so my kids acted like that we'd be out of that place I understand yeah but what I'm saying is
Starting point is 00:54:59 you still have the patience to be like, okay, they're figuring that out. Maybe they're not doing a good job, but you're like, okay. Yeah, if they look like they're trying, yeah. But some people, when they're just on their phones and kids screaming and throwing something. Oh, okay, that's a different thing.
Starting point is 00:55:15 Well, I have no tolerance for that. Well, that's the kind of thing. This is why the kid's doing it. I actually totally get now when you're like, you know, you're out someplace and your kid is like involved in something, you just go, okay, good. sure yeah yeah they're doing that okay if you're on an airplane or something and you you know you're like i'll give them the ipad for three hours okay
Starting point is 00:55:36 you know if they're involved at that then fine you know but if they're i'm talking about if they're like i don't know man they're just i mean it's just a weird it's a weird thing there is a your your brain i wish if you did a brain scan of yourself before you had a kid and after it has to be different yeah there's no way that it could be the same just everything about your thought process. Also, I was in an elevator too a few days ago and there was a guy there who was, you know, 30, maybe. And he was in front of me in the elevator. It was just me and him. And I was like, well, if I knocked this fucking guy out right now. I was like, what if I fucking, I knew where I'd hit him too. I'd him right behind the fucking ear and
Starting point is 00:56:21 it would like make his vision get black and then you fall on the ground and maybe he'd get back up or something but like he'd be so in so much pain you know and I was like what if I fucking did that and I go yeah I don't really this guy means nothing to me I don't I don't give a fuck about this guy if I punch this guy it wouldn't affect me at all really you know like what was going on in your head no no no I mean I mean like in any drastic way I'd feel bad but but but like I can still go home to my kids and fucking you know what I mean so and I'm like and then I'm looking at this guy and I go somebody this guy's somebody's kid dude imagine imagine somebody
Starting point is 00:57:02 called up your mom and was like somebody beat this shit out of out of you like that that's heartbreaking and and I'm like everybody is somebody's kid you know so then you didn't punch no I didn't punch him I would never punch anybody but like but I have violent thoughts about my dream is this guy my it's not working my dream is this guy watches this podcast and he remembers being in the elevator with you. Yeah. And he goes, thanks for not punch him. He's like, that guy was going to punch him.
Starting point is 00:57:30 Thank you so much. No, I was not going to punch him. I can't help these fucking crazy thoughts. What if the guy's like, what did I do? Oh, dude, that's nothing. I think about fucking terrible. I got to go like this. Often I'm like, my thoughts aren't me.
Starting point is 00:57:46 My thoughts aren't me. My thoughts aren't me. Yeah. When you're driving. Oh, dude, my thoughts aren't me. my thoughts are on me okay well okay give us another one
Starting point is 00:57:58 oh man I mean dude but I think of it in a humor humorous way a little bit a very dark humor but like you know like I don't know if an old man comes in a coffee shop
Starting point is 00:58:10 and I just fucking stick him with a blade a few times you know okay and I've never even come close to doing it I don't even have a blade but I go man that would fuck this guy would be
Starting point is 00:58:23 he'd be all like what what? You don't have to say I've never been close to doing it. Yeah, I don't even... It's just a thought. What's the... That thought, you're already closer
Starting point is 00:58:34 than most of us. I mean... You understand what I'm saying? It's probably OCD, but, you know, I just... Yeah, I think about awful, awful things. To me,
Starting point is 00:58:45 to others, it's horrible. Yeah. It's horrible, dude. I hope most people don't have those thoughts because it's debilitating. But it's one of the reasons why I'm so funny, you know, because I have to deal with it and then I know how to, you know, either either I see the humor in it or I create a distraction for myself and, you know,
Starting point is 00:59:07 think of something funny. But like I, yeah, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, my thoughts are, they're awful, dude. Oh, I mean, they're great too, but yeah, dude, I don't, like, when I see, fuck, I know Calvin's going to be that way, you know, so I'm trying to prepare him for it. Is this like Dexter's dad? Yeah, but yeah But just sitting at coffee shop His What are Dexter call it?
Starting point is 00:59:31 Yeah, his dark passenger I saw the funniest AI video It was Dexter's in a car With Lindsay Clancy And Dexter's driving And he's doing this Making my way downtown
Starting point is 00:59:45 And I'm like I'm like Oh man dude It's like I don't even know what to say Like that's one of those ones Because AI is great No, I don't know, man. I wonder what percentage of people have like just, yeah, just horrendous thoughts.
Starting point is 01:00:03 Can I tell you something? You know, we should not shame people for their thoughts. We should always just shame people for their actions. Yeah. You know, I mean, that's what I mean. And I think, this is what I think too. I think a psychopath is not the person that chops off someone's head. The psychopath is the person.
Starting point is 01:00:23 after they chop their head off, that they don't care. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's crazy. And they got the head in their basement and then they're just living their life. Like if I, if I punch that guy in the thing and he, oh man, I would never not think about that. Right, right, right, right. It would be. You would just be like, oh my God, what did I do? I mean, I just like, I would hate myself.
Starting point is 01:00:42 I'm just saying crimes of passion. I'm fucking hate myself. Crimes of passion are a real thing. Yeah. It's like you get, it's like that's not what makes you like, you know, a crazy person. It's like when you, you know, you know, you. you know, crazy people, that's why they stand out. But I could never be done.
Starting point is 01:00:56 That's why this is why. And all these people stand out. This is why when I think about my situation about how like I'm not doing movies and stuff like because of, you know, all the bullshit. I'm like, I could have never really been a, a movie star though. Because I would be saying this kind of stuff. There's no Hugh Jackman that's just like, yeah, thought about like stabbing him in the fucking right behind it.
Starting point is 01:01:17 I don't know that Liam Nisa did that exact thing. One time and it was a long time ago. and it was, he was talking about it in remorse about how he used to be that way. Yeah. And I don't think you can do that anymore. You know Hugh Jackman is like, I wish I had those Wolverine clothes.
Starting point is 01:01:33 Oh, yeah. You know what I mean? He's out of the Starbucks and somebody in line isn't taking too long to make his order. He just wish he can go, sking, sco, skis,
Starting point is 01:01:42 sco, sco. But Liam Neeson, when he was just like, my, dude, I went to a, kill all the black guys. I went to. He was like, what the fuck? It's like, I was terrible.
Starting point is 01:01:53 It was because there was a black guy that did something once and I wanted to fucking genocide. Oh my God. I mean, now. The producer was just like, okay. People have weird thoughts. I remember I was at a football game with,
Starting point is 01:02:07 what's his name, it plays Hawkeye. Yeah. Oh, yeah, Jim Renner. Jeremy Renner. Yeah. You know, and he was, you know, drinking. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:16 And he was like, I wish I had my bow. That's hilarious. he wanted to wow that's funny the field goal he was like I would just you know and I was like
Starting point is 01:02:25 oh that's cool but don't you think a shit like don't you like say you're standing next to what's a big you know like the rock
Starting point is 01:02:34 take take the rock you're with the rock and you're in a box seat at the fucking hockey game or something and the camera's on you and you go well if I just fucking kiss
Starting point is 01:02:44 this motherfucker right now you don't think that kind of shit I do I do. Oh, I do. Oh, okay. Didn't I tell you the time? I went to the rap party for Tropic Thunder. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:02:56 Okay? I was at the rap party for Tropic Thunder. I remember this. And it was like, you know, and it was all these people there, and I was standing in a big bunch of people. And I turned my head like this, and P. Diddy was standing this close to me because he was walking through. And I had the thought, I said, what if I just? Oh, dude. Okay, yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:17 Well, that's the same kind of thought. I think, what if I just, well, now, you think about it now. The life would have changed. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I would have been at parties. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You just have a, sometimes you have weird thoughts. I don't, listen, I don't think we're the sum of our weird thoughts.
Starting point is 01:03:33 No. I think we always are the sum of our actions. It's like if you let your thoughts become, you know, so intrusive that you, you know, you have to act on them. That's when you become a serial. Well, right. Yeah, you don't do that. You know, you don't do that. This week got, oh, this isn't going to even be this week, whatever.
Starting point is 01:03:48 Yeah, this is this week. Oh, this is this week. Okay, well, I'm at the mothership, guys. Well, how about the fact that I'm nowhere near where we are right now talking? I am in, you know, maybe Germany or something. I'm in Paris. You're someplace. Oslo, Germany.
Starting point is 01:04:01 Good for you, man. You're out here doing it, man. Yeah, man. You know? Got to do it, Manchester, London, Vienna. Yeah, places I don't even know. Stockholm. I do real well.
Starting point is 01:04:10 I added another show. I don't know why. Yeah, I don't even have a lot of shows until the end. I think a lot of my shows are going to be with Matt for their, like, you know, if you go to schedule. Oh, there you. Yeah, just some Matt stuff coming up. So yeah, guys. I'll see you guys.
Starting point is 01:04:22 Thanks.
