The Golden Hour - Open With the Demon | #201
Episode Date: September 11, 2026Chris and Erik get into the Lindsay Clancy mistrial and why people still push the husband theory when both sides agreed he wasn't a suspect, then a viral store-line "assault" video where the ...footage clears the guy and nobody cares. Matt Rife's Annabelle doll turns into a debate on belief: ghosts, God, and simulation theory. They watch the AI Denzel "slop" clip and argue about whether AI filmmaking is art, gatekeeping, or lazy, with Erik explaining why his John Thick video kept putting the cop inside the house. Erik reviews The Odyssey and the accent choices Nolan made, Chris can't tell Insidious from The Conjuring, and Erik breaks down End of Oak Street beat by beat, payphone and all. Erik updates on parenting Billy, and they close on AI animal videos, steroids, and GLP-1.Get two extra episodes every month at https://Patreon.com/TheGoldenHourPodcastTo submit to the show email: thegoldenhoursubs@gmail.com or Dropbox Link: https://www.dropbox.com/request/fqtbexhxyaky9X8f8MV1In the subject line, specify whether your submission is King It or Sting It, Debate Club, Rip My Drip, Relationship Advice, or Flaunt My Aunt. Now I think about it now.
Oh, yeah, Rachel will get us killed.
Right, right.
She would get us killed because there'd be a demon in the house
and she'd be like, you know, you didn't.
A hundred percent.
I asked you to pick up that Thai food and you're like, are you, what?
Yeah.
You find out later, you're like, wait, wait, you're asking about the Thai food?
And our kid is possessed.
You know what I'm trying to say?
It's like, yeah.
She's like, you didn't get the.
You would come in the house and the kid would do that shit.
You'd be like, you didn't open with this?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You know, and I just like, I don't know, for me,
I...
For chop sticks with the type of.
We're friends that laugh.
We're friends that shout.
Sometimes we don't know what we're talking about,
but that won't stop us.
Nothing can stop us.
We're missing all this.
Oh, we're doing?
Oh.
Oh, I just want to point out to everyone that I am not the one eating today.
True, but I want to point out of that, I eat way better than you.
You're gross when you eat.
Oh, you're talking about actual eating.
Not the style of eating.
Yeah, the style of eating, dude, is crazy for you.
Look at me.
That way I do it.
This is, honestly, to everybody watching, you're welcome right now.
Really?
Mm-hmm.
Oh, you think you eat cute?
No, I wouldn't go out far.
But medium.
Is there a clock?
No.
No?
Yeah, we go an hour.
Okay.
Yeah.
We got a guest, uh...
You're testing out, producers.
Let me eat half this.
Man, this is nice, bro.
Oh, my God.
Dude, it's just the worst, man.
Why?
Why?
Explain why that is.
You just, you know you're the worst.
That's the thing.
Banana, cinnamon.
Just the way you're eating it.
Like, it's like, you know, you're, like, you've never had anything like that before.
in your life.
I'm a passionate guy, bro.
I really am.
So no matter what it is,
is you're going to have passion
when you do it if I like it.
All right, I'm done.
So silly.
It's good, though.
I've gotten something else from there.
That's actually a good spot.
Between the, you know, the juice place,
they got an app now.
They got a what?
They got an app at the juice place.
Oh, so you're having a party.
You know me.
I'm all about miles and points.
You guys making money off that chair.
So I got the app, you know.
So I love the taco place.
It's great.
The guy was saying that he's got like, I don't know why,
but like there's some kind of like one of those
roaming kitchens.
They come there on Fridays.
I was like, I was like, yeah, I'm not coming.
Yeah, you are.
No, no, because I live in Santa Rica.
Yeah, but you'll, you'll figure it out.
Bro.
Well, well, that was just,
honestly a delight man you know what happens is you you eat so well and then you do something like that
and you just it's a delight i never really knew what a delight was because my whole life was inundated
with like you know eating whatever i wanted and coming and stuff and now you know in my 30s and stuff
now i can understand what a delight truly is dude hey i've been there yeah well yeah so it's
Nice. The lights are nicer, however, you know, you could say there are less, but there are actually more because they're more palpable, you know? Yeah. So anyway, I'll be in Phoenix this weekend. I was just there. Oh, yeah, you were. How was it? It was good. You did both clubs? Yeah. Yeah, I'm doing that too. Yeah, I'm doing both clubs. Tempe and Phoenix.
Crisley.com. And then I'm going to Birmingham, Alabama. Oh, you doing two shows at Tempe? Yeah. Well, because so what happened was, you're going.
No, all the way to the top.
The Saturday, I wanted that weekend,
but that Saturday early show was already taken.
So I was like, all right, let me do two on Sunday.
And they were like, well, we don't have it.
So then Tempe would, they were like,
we could do it on Tempe because it's the same guys.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then Eric Griffin.com, I, let's see, where am I going to be?
I'm wondering if while you're looking at that,
oh, here we go.
Well, I'm doing this like A.A. show on Saturday.
Is that, can you buy tickets to it?
I don't know, actually.
I don't know why, but I just have this.
You're like me.
You're like me.
I have no idea.
Okay, but then like I'm going to be at the Comics Roadhouse in Connecticut.
Roadhouse.
17 to the 19th.
And then I got one night, October 1st at the stand in New York because on October 2nd,
I'm going to the premiere of Behemoth.
Yeah, that's cool.
Yeah.
And then Mother's Ship.
And then I think I'm doing Kill Tony.
I got a double check on now, but I think so.
And then a lot of stuff coming up.
Then a lot of Matt Rife stuff coming up, too.
If you go to the bottom, I'm going to be with Matt Rife too.
Oh, there it is.
I'm going to be at those dates with Matt.
Yeah.
I was seeing, that's all.
I got a Siamese twins right there.
It looks like whenever I take pictures of people,
head together, I always think that they're conjoined.
Yeah, I don't know what I was going to say.
I was going to say something, but I don't remember what it was.
But, dude.
Go ahead.
I don't even know how if we should even go into it,
but it's just so weird, man.
Did you see how there was a mistrial in this Clancy thing?
I was, you know, a lot of people didn't notice what's going on,
and then you kind of, you sort of look into it.
The Lindsay Clancy trial?
Yeah, then you start looking at more, and it's like, man, you know,
this happened like four years ago.
Okay.
You know?
And then there's, and then there's,
still people who think that the husband did it.
Like I have a friend of mine who like I was, I put up a video about it because I was like,
you know, this like she had feelings of detachment and all these things.
And then like, you know, then she hits me up on the thing and she's like, well, the husband
did it, you know?
Yeah.
And I'm like, what?
Then I looked at, that made me want to look into it, you know?
Like, how do they think the husband did it?
Because then I look into it and like, the defense was never.
never going for that she didn't do it.
They were just going for she was crazy.
That's what that trial was.
Right.
You know?
And then it's like then the prosecution and a defense,
they both say that they have proof that the husband was,
they had the video footage from the CVS that he was there during the time of the murder.
They have his G.O. with the polls.
So he was never a suspect.
Right.
You know?
Right.
I don't know why they still think this.
Well, I know why.
They've seen too many movies.
I guess.
But also, here's the other thing.
Here's the real issue, dude.
I think, I don't know really much about it,
but just from an outsider's point of you,
if, so your wife is having this trouble.
You know you leave her alone with the kid.
So go to jail.
But here's the thing, too, though, about that.
They knew something was going on with her
because like I said, just happened four years ago.
So before this murder even happened,
they were filing a lawsuit against a pharmaceutical company
or the doctor or wherever.
They're in the middle of a class action lawsuit
while this was going on.
So the conspiracy theory for the husband is,
well, if the wife kills the kids,
and then I kill her.
Right.
He gets all the money.
He gets all the money.
money.
Got it.
But I still don't think that, you know, he found her.
She was trying to kill herself.
It's crazy.
But again, this thing that she said, she was, she had like, she was, she had a diary of like,
I have feelings of detachment from motherhood and she had all these dark feelings.
And I'm just saying to people like, well, what if she had these feelings at a park full
of kids?
And she was like, you know what?
No one should be a mom.
Right.
I want to remove this burden from everyone.
Right.
Right.
Then what would you say?
You know.
No, I know.
I mean, I, but you got to, you got to.
Look, you know, you can come up with theories and conspiracies and all that stuff about the guy, dad, the guy, dad, who did it.
But if there was at the end of the day, and I guess it's the end of the day, you can't, you know, if there's no proof, then.
But they don't care.
No, no, no, they don't care.
Honestly, people don't care.
Like, my friend, she don't care.
No.
Because I know.
I looked it up and it's like, the defense attorney on record.
It's saying we know she did it.
Right, right, right, right now.
And we're just trying to say she was crazy.
Did you see the...
That's bananas.
There was like an opening to a store the other day that it was a big line for it.
And this woman, like, backed up into a guy.
And he goes like this.
And she said, he just assaulted me.
And do you see this?
And the video, there was video of it.
She didn't know there was video of it.
But you can see.
He didn't assault her.
And the video was on it.
And now everyone's like, fuck this woman.
But people are still saying he assaulting.
He's awful.
Right, right, right.
So it's like, but there's a video of it, of him not doing it.
So it doesn't matter.
You know, it doesn't matter, which, which sucks.
I mean, I think personally that that woman who did that fucking spend time in, you know, prison.
Fuck that.
Something.
Shame her at least.
Well, that's what they're doing.
But I mean, but, you know, it's like, dad's.
That's the downside of like, you know, the pendulum swing on Me Too.
It's like, so things were so bad.
Right here.
You know what I mean?
It did nothing.
Look, all the women in front are like, no, he didn't.
Did you see that before, Marco?
Yeah, it's crazy, right?
I mean, his hands couldn't even be further away from her.
They're up here.
Well, I mean, all these people right here.
No, she's an idiot.
Well, I mean, this is like, okay, this is just dumb.
Yeah, it's dumb, yeah.
Yeah, this is just dumb.
But still, he's getting fucking shit for it.
It sucks.
From who?
It doesn't.
Crazy people.
Okay.
But it doesn't matter.
Crazy people make these things up.
Yeah.
So, and then people.
Ugh.
I know.
And then people make, and then people fucking, you know, I don't know if you,
I don't think anything really happened to the guy.
I don't know.
Nothing happened to that guy.
There was, just, just, that, what kind of society are we living in if that's, that's the thing.
But, you know, this is, okay.
this is the issue.
The issue is the internet is 50% of the problem,
meaning that that is now content.
I mean, even the fact that we're even talking about it on this.
It's all about content.
So now people, you know, these kind of things happen
and you just like, you found yourself like, let me talk about it.
So I feel like you have a responsibility of how you talk about things.
And the problem on the internet is nobody cares.
Also, not everybody's smart.
They don't care about feelings.
They don't care about like, let's get the facts out there.
Let's get the truth.
Let's just have an honest discussion.
Nobody cares about that stuff.
It's crazy, man.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Yeah.
You know, and I bet you, like, let's, thank goodness that wasn't like a in-shaped blonde chick.
Because then this would be even more of a thing.
True.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
The fact that it was kind of like a tubby looks like a Latino woman.
Yeah.
People are kind of like, oh, God, I don't know.
Right, right.
You know what I mean?
Because that's a thing too.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Interesting.
God damn.
I mean, because you know what your thing too is too?
You're a little jaded now because you see something like that and you see the guy.
Then you're just kind of like, wow.
Yeah.
I know.
I know.
Yeah.
And it sucks.
Yeah.
You know, you can't even have fun with you.
I know.
It drives me nuts.
It drives me nuts.
You know, and it drives me nuts for you.
I just go like.
It drives me nuts.
Nonsense that happens to me.
I'm just kind of like, man, this is crazy, dude.
It's interesting, too, because, like, I think that woman is a little bit, has some screws loose.
But there are women who get treated shitty by men for a long time.
And then something like that happens, and they take it out on that guy.
Right, right, right.
And that's not okay.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You know what I mean?
Like, I honestly think that that chick in this video, I,
think she knows she's just she knows she's not she's not even think she's like a malicious
person i think just in a moment she was just yeah yeah yeah yeah sassy and yeah yeah just being
silly even i would give her the benefit of the doubt me too i think that she you know then it just
turned into more than it is because people were filming it and then you put it on the internet now people
get to talk about it depends on how uh you you you respond to it afterwards i think she responded
some i can't remember what she said but yeah i just that shit lit me up dude i was on the
plane. I had to put my phone down because I had
already been looking at different like political
stuff. I'm like dude, all right, you know
what? I got to put my phone down and I just watched a video
of how Matt Reif bought fucking Annabelle or
whatever the hell that shit was.
All right, let's take a break. Football's here, man.

Oh, yeah, yeah.
You know what I mean?
And you just go like, you know.
Oh, yeah.
I was talking about the Annabelle Dahl.
That's what it's called, right?
Yeah.
On my other podcasts, I won't be mentioned.
but um congratulations yeah uh does he do this one lifeline is he just like me aye yeah but uh the the
thing about that is why did matt do that why did he get that and set that museum up oh because he's
wants to make money and he's into that kind of stuff he has to know that none of that is real and it's all
bullshit. Oh, no, not to him. Oh. It's not okay. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. It's not okay.
Dude, I just go, okay. All right. I start okay. Yeah, he's into that kind of stuff and it's fine.
Yeah. Uh, I always feel like deep down though when people are like, oh, no, it's real. They know that it's not.
Do they? Well, for instance, I know some of the ghost hunter guys, they believe it. Right. But like,
And look, reality is not, can you grab me a water, dude?
Thanks.
Reality is not, there's definitely more to reality than what we think.
Like, it's not explainable.
But that, dude, a raggedy and doll, when you see the fucking Warren's like, yeah, it stood up.
Like it should be the doll that's in the movie.
Yeah, at least that's more believable.
You know, the doll that it is, when I first saw it, I went.
like this. Really? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's so weird. No, but dude, but here's the thing,
though, man, it is a slippery slope of what you want to believe in, okay? Because forget about magic,
ghosts and all that. You start with this. Do you believe in God? Right. Okay, so then that is just as crazy
as believing in this doll. Sure, yeah. If you're going to believe in one, you might as well believe in the
other. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I totally agree. No, I just, that's just as crazy. Yeah, no, I just believe in. I
totally agree and I don't think you know you know that's why people are like you know
sometimes when I talk about did I say this with no I think I said it with Matt but like if if
if I believe that we're all hooked into some sort of simulation that's a hundred to me
that's actually less crazy than believing in but that's what the other people would believe
so when you think about those ghost turner friend of you friends of yours yeah
My whole thing is like, it'd be one thing if I'm coming in here right now.
And I'm going, bro, there was a ghost in my hotel room of Phoenix.
Sure.
And I got it on video.
Yeah.
And then it's like, here we go.
And then we're looking at it and we're like, I can't explain this.
Yeah.
They never have anything like that.
Or even close.
They never have anything like it.
There's no big foot pictures.
There's nothing.
There's nothing.
No.
So you just kind of go, yeah.
But at the same time, faith.
There's no proof in God either.
Other than like, you know.
Yeah.
No, I know.
I know.
Yeah.
And I'm, look, I'm not going so bold to say there's no God.
I don't know.
Yeah.
We're just talking about the belief system.
But did you see the AI thing that Denzel where they made AI?
This was crazy, dude.
Oh, yeah.
You know what I just saw that today?
I didn't get to look at all.
But it's like saying that.
This is really.
Why he uses AI.
So pause it, pause it though.
I woke up.
This is the first thing I saw.
And I go, I'm in bed.
And I'm just like.
Damn, it's fucking true, though, huh?
I go, AI Denzel kind of killed it.
This is, uh, makes so much sense.
It's interesting.
Okay, let's see it.
Do you watch it or no?
I only watched it a little bit because I had to leave.
Yeah, yeah.
Turn a volume up.
No sound.
Slop?
Turn up.
Who the hell said, I'm making slop?
My friends think you are using AI just because it's easier.
Call me a boy when I talk to you.
Straighten up, God damn it.
I asked you a question.
Did you paint in the lighting by hand on your last project, or did you simulate it in Blender?
Blender.
Exactly.
And that's easier, right?
Answer me when I talk to you, that's easier, right?
Yeah.
Remember when I started with drawing, then made the jump to photography?
Yes, sir.
Then video?
Yes, sir.
That 3D?
Yes, sir.
Why you think that is?
Because it's easier?
Hell no, not because it's easier.
Why do you think that is?
Because you are lazy?
Lazy?
I've literally spent
nine hours straight
painting skin pores
on a single image
just for the hell of it
and you think I'm lazy
You're about the biggest fool I ever saw us
Because it's fun
Yeah dude
I'm not claiming that's art
I'm claiming it's fun
I've spent the last 10 years
chasing creative freedom
Sick of wasting my energy on other people's
projects just for a paycheck
Craving the space to make something
truly creative
And guess what
That was never going to happen in that industry, so I walked away.
And now that I'm having fun without stressing over some fucking portfolio to impress another rich idiot,
people call it slop just because it's not industry standard.
You know what?
Fuck industry standards.
Every technique I picked up was just about giving myself more ways to express myself.
I didn't get into this to meet anyone else's standards.
People want to call it slop?
So what?
I don't give a fuck.
I'll slap a cowboy hat on you if I feel like it.
Everyone's terrified.
Convinced the studios don't need artists anymore.
It's the artist who doesn't need the studio.
Preached in Zell!
You understand what I'm saying.
Watch this,
watch us.
Watch us.
Watch this.
Watch this.
And go learn coffee UI from Neco de Ficador.
Watch this though.
Bro.
No, no, no, no, no.
I'm going to go first.
Okay.
What I said.
About what?
We had a whole argument like five, six, seven episodes.
And this is exactly what I said.
It's not, though.
It's not.
Oh, no, no.
It's not.
You're taking the wrong thing from it.
What I'm saying is...
That's what it is.
Wait, wait, okay.
So what did you say?
No, no, that's okay.
Go ahead.
So I'm not saying, look, that, sure, they put that together.
It's impressive.
It's actually a story the way they told it and shit.
Okay.
You can tell that's AI.
That's not what I'm not...
Can you?
Yes.
Yeah, you can.
Only because of the subject.
What if they took that and they were talking about something completely...
What actually happens in the movie?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's a real, like, a real scene.
I understand, but it could have still changed.
the words and stuff.
Yeah.
So I guess what, uh, the, the fact that it, okay, so there's the fact that look, I'm doing it
because it's fun.
Now I'm the artist and the industry needs, doesn't, you know, I don't need the industry.
Okay, I get that.
But then what does that say about people who are then uploading it to the internet and
making money off of it?
You're still, you're still not just.
doing it because it's fun well i mean i mean listen they're changed they're changing how that stuff's
happening anyway you know like youtube is going to start demonetizing channels that like it's the
animal videos yeah yeah yeah that play on people's emotions whatever like that they're going like
yeah they should but at the same time i go how long did it take the person to make that video
see the the misconception and lie about AI is
that people think they pick up their phone and go like this.
Okay.
No, it's hard.
It's more than hard.
Yeah.
Okay?
It takes, it's actually hours and hours of work.
Sure.
Almost an equivalent amount of work.
Yeah.
You know, it's just that with the other stuff with the CGI, it's the rendering time.
It takes so long.
Right.
So it's rendering faster, but the hours and hours of work it takes to do this, they need to put
that out there so people can see, oh, okay, so this is like also a art form that you should
learn.
Yeah, it's a thing.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, yeah.
But they're really, people think like,
maybe you just put a prompt and here you go.
No, no, no.
It does not work like that.
Right.
And I know from trying to do it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
And you've seen Eric's AI shit.
Yeah, it's terrible.
And that was the whole point of it.
That's why I call it Unc AI.
Because I'm like, oh, this sucks.
Like, it's really hard to like to get these scenes right.
And then the AI does everything wrong.
It messes with doors.
Like, it doesn't know that the door thing is on this side.
It'll put it on.
on that side with the hinges and it'll open.
So how do you fix that?
Dude, it's a lot.
No, the fucking doorking.
Dude, that's a man.
You end up cursing that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's a lot, man.
It's like, all I wanted was,
I wanted to do this thing, John Thick,
and I wanted.
So dumb, dude.
It's me as John Wick, but I'm John Thick.
Yeah, but it looked great.
So I go to the door,
I wanted to do that scene where I opened the door
and the cop is like,
are you working, John?
And I go, no.
I'm having dinner and I opened the door
it's just a buffet spread right
the AI
would not do it right
okay why
I don't know why what did it mess up
oh everything either I was oh I wish I saw you
doing it too I just show you all the videos I have all of them
I'm like why did it do this first of all the
one hard thing about AI video
is keeping the character
the same character
throughout the whole scene really you would think that that'd be easy
It's actually not.
For some reason, it drifts.
It drifts a lot.
So it changes like the, so you have to, like, there's certain AI that really work on just that.
So it wouldn't do.
So one time, like, so one of the videos I opened a door.
It opens a door wrong.
The cops standing there.
And then when the guy opens a door, the cop's now in the house.
So how do you, so what did you say to that?
Oh my God, I had to keep going and go.
Then I realized.
But then it fucks with other shit, right?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then it changes the, you're like, why is Kermit in here?
It's so weird, dude.
It's so weird.
So, like, it really is, it really is a skill and art form.
It's tough, for sure.
That really takes time.
But there's other things where I say, you know, like he says in the video, like, things
are make easier.
I would say, like, the thing it's doing for audio right now is like, like, if you're doing
a podcast, you know, you record your audio, now you could just throw it in the thing and be
like sweeten this audio.
Clean it up.
Yeah.
Clean it up.
Right.
So I get it.
And the real sentiment of that video is being like, well, why are there so many gatekeepers for this?
And that's what it is too.
It's like, so, you know, like you can only make movies this way.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You know what I mean?
No, I, yeah.
No, you can make movies with AI.
And I'm not saying you shouldn't.
I'm just saying what are the parameters and how do you start?
What is the industry around that, you know?
Of course, Hollywood doesn't want it because they figured out.
the way to do it already.
But so,
and this introducing this is fucked up for them.
This fucking their shit up.
So,
but it's just,
you know.
I,
yeah,
man,
it's crazy.
I mean,
look,
I think this is going to be a renaissance in movies.
I mean,
this is,
I think that this summer box office I just read is the highest grossing
box office in the history of movies.
Wow.
You know?
Well,
Spider-Man.
Yeah,
Spider-Man,
Odyssey,
obsession,
you know,
a back room,
all these.
I mean, so it's like this is pretty good.
Have you seen The Odyssey yet?
No.
I gotta see it.
You just saw it though.
I just saw it.
Dude, I gotta tell you, man,
there's a weird choice that Nolan makes.
Oh, yeah?
And I really believe he made this choice on purpose and I feel like they spoke about it.
I feel like there was like a meeting and they were like, what should we do about this?
Interesting.
Okay, what?
He said, I bet you he said, like as an actor, the actor came and said, well, should I talk in an accent?
Oh.
And he said, no.
I want you to talk the way you talk.
Right.
And everyone's doing that, except for two people.
Oh, that's weird.
Tom Holland and Robert Patterson, who are both British speaking in like their fake American accent.
Oh.
And I thought that was a weird choice because Matt Damon is Matt Damon, the whole movie.
Right, right, right.
And that was so like.
So you're saying just keep your regular accent no matter what.
Why didn't they just be British?
And then also I didn't like the thing about,
this is what I'm saying.
There are parts of this movie
that I thought it was a masterpiece.
Yeah, I'm sure.
And then there's other parts where I just go,
oh, it's just Spider-Man.
Like he had the same haircut.
You know?
And then it was like Zendaya's in it
and you're just kind of like,
okay, what's she doing here?
Yeah, I know.
What's she doing here?
And like, you know, but I get that,
but once you get past that,
I think then you're in it, you know?
Yeah.
I talked about this on Riffin with Griffin.
But it reminded me of in the 80s any Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.
Yeah, right.
He's not American.
He wouldn't be a CIA agent.
Okay, Jack.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
But it doesn't matter.
No, I thought, yeah, sure.
You know, he would like, I am from, you know, he could have been, I run Ohio.
I played in the.
Dayton, I'm from Dayton.
How?
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
But we, you know what?
We went, I suspended my disbelief and we didn't care.
Yeah.
Yeah, he's an all-time CIA agent with this weird accent.
We just went, that's Arnold.
Right, yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever.
That's what this movie was like.
Yeah, okay, sure.
I understand, yeah.
This movie was like, because I just felt like, like Matt Damon was just being Matt Damon.
I kind of felt like it was Matt Damon reading the Odyssey.
Yeah, that is weird because, like, you know, when you do Russell Crow, at least in The Gladiator,
they fucking do a thing with it.
even though it's not in true Latin
it's still
they have an accent
they had a way to do it
but he's the
if he's the only one
because he's the star
this is like a multitude of people
in this movie
and I'll tell you man
there was some like
really great moments
like it was great
because I thought
Elliot Page
was terrible and
phenomenal in the movie
at the same time
like on the beach
and like with the Trojan horse
I thought that was
like, ugh. But then there's this scene where
Elia Page is dead. It's like a zombie.
Yeah. And they're talking to Odysseus.
And that scene
covered in mud and the passion.
I was like, wow, that was great.
There's a lot of moments like that. And Hathaway
had great moments. Right, right.
I don't know. Sometimes I'm like, do I
tell people like, do you watch this movie?
And I would say, yes, watch
it with really open, just
have an open feeling of like,
you know, let me just take it all in.
Yeah. But it was
not his best, but that's not saying anything.
No, I know he's great, yeah.
The dude's great, you know?
But I wouldn't count this as like in his top five,
but it's still, his six best movie is still probably better than most people's movies.

It was a great movie.
I saw the Inuitian.
Insidious movie.
When I see those movies, all I do is think about you now.
Because you had a bit.
Oh, yeah, man.
When I thought Insidious, the first one, was one of the scariest movies ever made.
I found out just after I talked about this on my podcast is I didn't, I didn't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I love horror movies.
I watch all of them, okay?
I there are two franchises that I have no idea which is which and which one I even saw.
Oh, okay.
Tell us.
Insidious ones, whenever those are in, there could be three.
There could be 25.
I don't know.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay.
And I don't know if I've seen them all.
Yeah.
Or a few.
Okay.
And the conjuring.
Okay.
That's a whole different thing.
I understand. I didn't know until yesterday that I thought maybe it was in the same universe. I don't know.
The same actors in it. The same director directed it. That's so confusing.
Wait, I thought the conjuring and the, wait, is the conjuring to Annabelle's? Exactly. No, Annabelle is insidious.
Wait, no, no, no, no.
Annabelle is conjuring. Right. Yes. That's the same universe. Yes. But insidious is a
completely.
I thought they were the same thing too.
I thought it was a spin-off.
Yeah, same.
Because it's the same dude.
That's so confusing that they did that.
And by the way, I like Patrick Gross and that.
I like, you know, the movies, whatever.
But like, it's so confusing to me.
Those are the only, those, I never know which one I'm watching.
And I don't know if I've even watched it.
And I saw the insidious one because I was with Sam, my camera guy.
And we were, I mean, we were in Springfield, Missouri, bro.
We were so bored.
Of course.
I know exactly.
You got to go to the movie.
Bro, we went to the movie, and then we did my show.
Then we went to another movie.
Oh, yeah, dude.
Yeah.
I'm with you.
It was just shows all day.
Yeah, I was.
I forgot where I was.
I went to the movies.
I was in Sunnyvale.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's when I saw that ridiculous end of Oak Street.
Oh, yeah, I want to see that.
I almost saw that.
So I saw the insidious movie.
That was the second movie I saw.
And I'm watching it.
And Sam's just like, should we see that?
And I'm like, I don't know.
Okay.
Like, I don't know if I know anything about it or if I was, that fucking movie.
That's ridiculous.
They're ridiculous.
Well, I mean, I thought, how can you top the first one?
I don't know.
Was the first one the one with the red guy behind the guy?
We did that.
Yeah, that's that.
That's insidious.
We're the red guys behind.
It's so scary.
That one's.
No, the thing about the insidious.
Or is that the conjuring?
No, no.
No.
No.
Insidious was scary to me because.
What is it about?
you're watching somebody of this kid is being possessed whatever it is about it doesn't matter it's
these moments like i said that's why in my half hour special on comedy central i i talk about insidious
because it was like like one example like one example is i get scared in movies when the people
on the screen aren't acting the way they're supposed to act why in a situation because i get scared
Like in the movie
In the first one
She
She has a baby monitor
Yeah
And the babies
And you hear
You hear on the baby monitor
It's like
Yeah
Yeah yeah
And she goes like this
Hello
And I'm like
This is your bit
Yeah
But that's real
In the movie
I was
Go get your baby
So that makes you scared
Yeah because I'm like
Because
Got it
Because you know
Yeah
And then she's
And you're like
Come on
That's
That's a psychological thing
I understand
that to me, that's what takes me out of it.
Oh.
Because I'm like, bro, why are you still there?
See, it elicits that.
But I don't go, get out.
I go, this is stupid.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
I can suspend my disbelief a little bit and I'm in it.
I mean, a little bit, you have to.
You have to because what I'm saying is like, we already know that this is like fake.
So if you're, if you're closer to that, you're not going to enjoy anything.
Yeah.
You have to be, this universe is real, and then I'm going to react to what's happening here.
You know?
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Like the little boy is in a coma in the movie.
And the brother, the mom says, what's wrong?
And she goes, well, when, it would be like it was Matt.
And you say, well, Matt came in last night.
And then the mom was like, I don't know he didn't.
And you can see the kid is scared.
And as a movie go, where you're like, bitch.
Right, right, right.
Right, right, right.
He possessed, bitch.
Believe you.
So what I'm saying is like, that's how I get.
That's why I love that.
I mean, you don't know he possessed.
You know what I mean?
Remember the baby monitor, bitch?
What you doing?
You know, I love all that, you know.
And that movie had a lot of that.
But to me, that just makes no sense.
They had a lot of that.
So, like, I'm willing to suspend my disbelief that a demon is in the closet or that your cousin was possessed and and slit someone's throat.
I'm not willing to suspend my disbelief that the monsters in the living room and you run upstairs.
Go out.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
He's blocking the door.
Well, if he is okay.
But not always.
And there's a back door.
But this is one of my favorite things in insidious is she's already dealt with some demon shit in the house.
And her husband comes home and she has, she's fighting with him.
about something else.
And I'm like,
yeah.
Open with the demon.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
I didn't get the groceries.
I didn't call.
You didn't take the trash out?
Yeah, yeah.
If what here's right.
There's a fucking, yeah, yeah, yeah.
There's a demon in the house.
So you open with there's a demon in the house.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Women will get you killed.
Trash.
Trash doesn't matter.
And when I'm watching it, I just go,
in my mind, I think, oh, I've dated.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You know what I mean?
Right.
Like I wasn't even dating Rachel at the time, you know, but now I think about it now.
Oh yeah, Rachel will get us killed.
Right, right.
She would get us killed because there'd be a demon in the house and she'd be like, you know, you didn't.
A hundred percent.
I asked you to pick up that Thai food and you're like, are you, what?
Yeah.
You find out later, you're like, wait, wait, you're asking about the Thai food?
And our kid is possessed.
You know what I'm trying to say?
It's like, yeah.
she's like you didn't get the
you would come in the house and the kid would do that shit
and you'd be like you didn't open with this
you know
and I just like I don't know for me
for chopsticks with a tiger
he's got a Thai ice tea
he's like where's the rest of the food
I don't know
I think it's just like so certain movies
give me that and certain movies don't
you know sure yeah
you know where you just kind of like
and no matter what does
You're just kind of like, all right, can you elicit an emotion from the crowd watching?
And that's what it is.
Yeah.
And sometimes it's not just fear.
It's not just scares, you know.
It's got to be like where you put yourself in that situation and you go, what would you do?
Would I do that?
Right.
That's why that movie, end of Oak Street is fucking bananas.
Why?
That is one of the dumbest, weirdest, ridiculous movies I've ever seen.
It's a weird movie that came and went because it, it wasn't you and McGregor in it?
Dude.
right he's a huge star
and Ann Hathaway is the wife
oh she is
oh that movie
must have been terrible
Chris this is me in the movie
First of all
I'm in Sunnyville
I didn't know anything about it
I'm just talking to this lady at the counter
Right
I just saw I'm watching
I'm about to go into Spider-Man
You know
Yeah you're like what's this fake movie
She's like yes a dinosaur movie
Blumbo and I was like really
A whole dinosaur movie
With those two people came out
And you didn't know about it's crazy
That's so crazy
So I go
You know what I'm gonna watch it tomorrow
Yeah
Okay first of all
The first, this movie's so crazy,
I did one of these things I like to do on my podcast
where I just talk about the whole movie
from beginning to end.
And I did this song Riffin with Griffin,
if you want to see.
Got it.
Okay, but before you even get into it,
what's the premise?
Okay, a town.
Yeah.
Gets portled to Jurassic era.
Okay.
That's the premise.
That's a bad, that's a bad premise.
You would, it could be great.
Yes.
Imagine if we're doing this podcast.
And this studio got transformed to like Jurassic.
And then we go outside and there's a big ass Tyrannosaurus Rex outside.
We'd be like, what the hell?
But how do you explain all that?
That's how you start the movie.
Yeah.
Here's my problem with this movie up top.
It opens in this like 70s family town.
There's like a fair going on and there's like hundreds of people out.
It's one of those towns everybody knows each other.
You know, they're like, hi Chris.
You know, you got the kids.
Oh, I count it's so big.
You know, this whole town, right?
Yeah.
They spend 30 minutes explaining how terrible this relationship is between Ann Hathaway and Aaron McGregor.
Okay.
So they're on the outs.
Yeah, yeah.
Like he's, he has lost his job.
He didn't tell her.
He's drinking when he's not supposed to.
The son is acting out because of this.
He broke a kid's arm.
She doesn't want to be in the marriage.
She wants to be a writer.
Dude, they spend 30 minutes doing this.
I don't even remember that.
And then they gloss over.
Like this is how to do this in movies sometimes
There's like a TV playing in the background
And then you hear this kind of thing
There are some kind of sunflare
So in my mind I go
Oh, that's how they're gonna explain how this happens
You know what I mean?
They're a mysterious like a star
So that's letting you know
That's how the shit happened
Okay sure
So then they just weird stuff starts
So already you don't like that?
No
Okay
You have to explain to me how this town got transformed better than that.
Okay.
But the way they did it was the daughter wants to go to, you know, Cornell, and she's like a smart scientist.
So then she goes, well, she gives the explanation, you know.
Well, maybe the sunflare we heard on the TV the other day.
It could be the reason of what, you know.
And you're like, what?
But anyways, they spend all this time going over this relationship, right?
And then they go outside and there's dinosaurs.
Okay.
And the dinosaurs are eating people.
Sure.
And it's like now the whole town family community gone.
Right.
Nobody cares about anybody.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
And it just was so weird.
And then you're seeing this dynamic between her and the husband who the husband's like,
we should just stay here.
And she's like, no, we have to do something.
And, you know, that happened.
You know, so now that they're doing that thing again where man are weak and manner like, you know what I mean?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Dude, I hate to, this is, can I just give you one big spoiler?
Yeah, for that movie?
Yeah, let me spoil this way.
He gets eaten by a dinosaur.
Whoa, he does?
Yeah, it's gruesome.
When, at the end?
Towards the end of the movie,
this dinosaur is going after Ann Hathaway.
He gets a sludge hammer and hits the dinosaur,
and then the dinosaur's about to eat her,
stops and turns around, goes after him.
He takes it, he swings and then he clocks the dinosaur in the, right?
The dinosaur falls, and he's like,
Are you guys okay?
The kids and, okay, and this little black girl they found, it was weird.
And then they like, then the dinosaur gets up, chops his, bites his leg off.
Oh boy.
And eats him.
Okay.
And then what do you think about that?
Dude, I was in the movie like, you're going to just kill a dad.
You're not going to kill a mom.
And then this is what they do.
And this is now my, now I'm a nerd out on you.
Okay, all right.
Okay.
You're not going to like this part.
Yeah.
Sometimes I don't like it.
Yeah, but I'm going to nerd out on you.
It's fine.
It's fine.
This is what happens.
So they find a way these like, of course, mysterious portals open up.
Okay.
Where they can get back to their time.
Okay.
So they get back to their time.
Uh-huh.
Okay.
And they realize, what time is it?
They realize it's 10 minutes before their town is actually about to disappear.
Okay.
Now the dad's been moonlighting as a pizza delivery guy.
You would McGregor?
Yeah.
Okay.
So they're outside of one.
Okay, when they, when the portal, they splash into a pool and they're at this black woman's house.
And she's like, what's y'all doing in my pool?
You know, it's like so weird.
Okay.
Then they go outside and she's like, what time is it?
And then mysteriously, there's a pay phone outside this black woman's house.
There's just a pay phone.
Does it take place in this time period?
Yeah.
Okay.
So she goes to the pay phone.
Okay.
And orders a pizza.
Why?
to get the dad to deliver it
so he's not in the town when it disappears.
Jesus.
But here's the problem.
Okay.
She's now created an alternate universe.
I'm ahead of you.
No, I agree with you.
Where the dad is not there.
I agree with you.
And what was she going to do without the dad?
Well, that's what the movie made money.
That was what part two is going to be about.
Part two would be like Ann Hathaway and the kids trying to escape.
She gets eaten by a dinosaur.
But dude, I was like, while you've wasted this great premise
of this town and how these people could have got.
And then, oh my God.
Yeah, I love it.
Okay, so then.
I can't wait to see this movie.
So you have to watch because five of people die in the movie.
Okay.
I had to know, just five?
Yeah, no, no, I'm saying that she knows.
Oh, okay.
Like, like, like, the person that was editing her book,
helping her with her book, she dies.
Okay.
Monster-related.
So now.
So now, at the end of the movie,
because what happens is this town gets transported back.
in time. And then the Jurassic part comes, it swaps. Okay.
So, geez, this sounds horrendous. So now they're doing this like end thing where, you know,
where they're like, you know, it was 10 years, it was like six months ago that the dinosaur
showed up. And then these people are saying like, but thanks to, I don't forget her name, but let's
say, thanks to Ann Hathaway, she, she called and like, let me know to leave the town. I'm watching
a movie in real time. Yeah. This bitch did not have enough time to call.
six people on the pay phone.
You get what I'm saying?
And by the way, to convince them.
Right, right, right, right, right.
Hey, you got to leave it.
Imagine I call you, Chris, you got to leave,
you know, leave your house because there's dinosaurs.
You'd be like,
babe, where's the mustard?
Then I call you back.
Chris, you got to fucking listen.
If you'd like to make a call, I'm disconnected.
Dude, this is, that is, yeah,
see, that's the stuff that I don't like, though.
Yeah.
Right.
If you're going to make it the Matrix, make it fit all everything.
Make it.
Yeah.
All I want is it for it to make sense.
I have two questions.
Yes.
Okay.
One, the pay phone.
It's in the 80s, you said?
No, no, no, no.
No, no.
Oh, it's not now.
It was in the 70s.
All right.
So then that makes sense.
So that then the payphone is not that preposterous.
Right.
Not that preposterous.
That it's right there.
That it's right there.
On a suburban street.
Yes.
Okay.
Okay.
That's preposterous.
Yes.
That there's just a habit.
It's on her porch.
Like she walks out of like this woman's pool.
They're standing outside and they realize what time is it?
And she's like, oh my God.
Do anybody have any quarters?
Oh, that's terrible.
So people have change all of a sudden.
And then she runs over to the pay phone that just happens to be right there.
And I'm just kind of like this.
It's ridiculous.
Okay.
Yeah.
And then at the end when you find out she called, it's too convenient.
You find that she calls like, she should have just like told the black.
Can I use your phone?
Yeah, yeah, that's what I was thinking.
Yeah, but she would have been like, you call somebody collect?
Like, because it was in the 70s.
So it would have been like, you know, is it the right?
It better be in this area code, you know, that kind of thing.
Oh, man.
But it's like, you know, I don't know, man.
It just was like, I'm not saying this movie was like, some movies you watch,
you go, wow, this is terrible from beginning to end.
This is one of these ones where you go, wow.
Like, why?
Every choice you're like, why did they do that?
Why?
The people in the movie?
Yeah, just, and even a filmmaker.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So part of it is like, I go, I was fascinated.
Yeah, I understand that, sure.
I was fascinated.
Yeah, you watch movies sometimes, and it's like, you know,
I'd almost rather watch a bad movie sometimes
than a movie that's trying to be good
because you know the movie that's trying to be good
is going to fucking be bad anyway.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You know what I mean?
Unless you're going to watch Schindler's list
or something that you know is going to probably be good.
And even still, you're kind of like, oh, God, this happened?
That sucks.
You know what?
I remember,
I remember watching Schindler's list.
I'll never forget this.
I'm watching Schindler's list.
And it's just like,
from jump,
you're sad.
I got to say I didn't see it
because of the reason.
Oh my God.
Just from jump,
you're in the movie like this.
Fuck, white people suck.
You know what I mean?
You're just like,
that's the kind of thing, you know?
And then there was this old couple
in the crowd.
They were just like,
two.
We were there.
It didn't happen.
And they were just talking.
Oh, no.
Just the way they were talking.
At a certain point,
it's like, I said like this,
I was like,
hey shut up nice
they go geez Nazi
no because it was like
it was so inappropriate
you're going to have to be quiet
it's so inappropriate in this like you know
yeah yeah of course in that
oh my god last night I was in
La Jolla this past weekend
and you know into my show I'm doing some
crowd work and I say this guy you
what's up with you man and he's like I
he goes I'm German
you know it's just like that
and I was like what
and then he's sitting next
to another dude and I go, well, who's this?
And that guy said something a little flamboyant.
And I was like, oh, this is some gay shit.
And the guy was like, woo!
The other guy.
And I was like, how long have y'all been talking online?
He was like three days.
And I was like, wow.
And the guy flew from Germany.
Wow.
It was just like those kind of moments happen.
But anyway.
San Diego, or La Jolla is probably got, it's got to be the top gayest.
I'm talking to top gayest, bro.
It was just so funny.
Everybody had a good time.
Thanks for coming out.

Yeah, that's, uh, okay.
I want to know what you think of this movie,
Onslaught, I want to go to the onslaught.
Oh, I have to, have you started Furious yet?
No, but I'm going to, that's next.
Because now it's done.
Oh, and dude, you know what got really good.
What?
Yeah, that's what you said.
No, no, that season finale's done too.
And now you kind of,
I saw the first, only the first season,
silo. What? It was good. It was really good. But, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, you know,
you get to that situation where you're like, yeah, but you, you, you, you, you like, you, you, you like, you, you, you like, you, you,
I do, I do, I do. Oh, I do. I do. I do. I do that. I can't do that. I look, you know what, Chris, I looked
up the other day. I was like, I told you I have a compulsion about this kind of thing, right? Uh, uh,
so, uh, so I looked it up, it's a whole, it's a whole thing. I go either way.
There's a whole psychology about, around it, about the comfort of it, about the, about the,
Like what I was like, sure.
I was reading and I was like, oh my God, this is me.
I stopped watching shows.
No, but I'm not, no, for me, it's like, no, I'm talking about when you rewatch something.
Because I was asking like, why is it that I?
Oh, the rewatching.
Yeah.
Why is it that I can like.
Because you're fucking seven years old.
That's crazy.
It's a comfort.
Well, yeah, but that's why fucking seven year olds do it.
I guess.
Dude, Billy got up today.
I had taken to school.
You know, I took a comment on and Billy to school.
And he gets downstairs and he says,
says, I'm tired.
I'm going to sleep.
And he sleeps and he sits down on the, on the, this little bed he made in the living room.
And I'm like, you just slept.
And I was like, he was like, I'm, I'm tired.
I said, you got to go to school.
And he threw the biggest fit, bro.
And I'm just like, I kind of is one of those things where it was like, okay, first of all,
you can't sleep after you just slept.
But then I'm like, you can't.
That's the other part.
I'm like, that's kind of.
my dude though you know what I mean like
you're sort of can't yeah that's kind of
my dude but he had his shoes on and shit he pulled the covers
up over his shoes and I go that's kind of gangster dude
oh fucking wolf
two things he did well first of all
he's now copying us
yeah you said this and trying to be funny
no but he did this thing I put it on my Instagram
where I farted
disgusting and he goes like this
oh my gosh
I didn't mind me. Daddy stinks like that.
Yeah, yeah.
And he was putting on an accent.
Oh, wow.
And I was like, wow.
What is like, like look at this kid.
Yeah, that's good.
But he also threw a fit.
Because you farted?
No, no, no, no.
Oh.
Well, that's the fit.
No, but so we have a ball pit because of going to your place.
You know what I mean?
Right, right.
Now we have a little ball pit.
I'm sorry.
So now he's doing this thing, but he's throwing the balls.
So he was throwing the balls at Rachel.
Okay.
He just, he just kept getting him.
I said, stop it.
Yeah.
You know?
And then he kept doing it.
So I was like, oh, okay.
So I took him by the hand, and I took him into his room.
It was between whenever we do, I put him in his room and I closed the door.
Right.
You know, and then he was just, Daddy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And I just, I left, you know, I said, I waited.
Because you're supposed to wait, like.
As many minutes as that old they are.
Yeah.
So I waited two minutes.
We do it my dad for 78 minutes.
So I did the two minutes.
Then I said to him, are you going to throw the ball again?
No.
And I was like, oh, so you're going to.
understand.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So now you're going back in for another two.
Because you're trying to come across like you don't understand, but I know you fucking
understand.
Yeah.
You know, but it was like, you know, it's funny because like, you know, Rachel will be like,
you know, when I try to discipline, whatever, she's like, I know, yeah.
You don't do you.
I know.
I know.
I know.
I know.
Same, yeah.
So I was like, oh, okay, so now you need my support.
All right.
Okay.
He's going in his room.
That's what we're going to start doing.
Billy threw something at me and I go, hey, you don't throw, do not throw.
do not throw things at people.
And he goes, but why did you do that?
And I was like, I didn't know, I didn't mean to.
I just like kind of kicked a toy out of the way, you know?
And then he was, and then he was still mad.
He walked up to me, took the toy, and he looks at me and I go, well, I don't have to do anything because he knows not to throw that at me.
So after he threw it at you, after he threw it at you.
He goes like this.
Oh, right in my face, dude.
It was a sight, bro.
You just go, it's amazing the amount of patience you have to have.
It was a sight.
But the thought process for him was he asked you, why did you do that?
I didn't like, he's saying, I didn't like that.
So basically, that's when they take on their mom's personnel.
This is your fault.
It's your fault.
So I have to act out because it's your fault.
Regardless if I'm not supposed to throw this at you or not.
So that sucks when your kid becomes
So what do you do?
Oh, I, I, I mean, I said, I took the toy away.
I was like, now you can't play with the toy.
And you got to sit there and he was screaming, bro.
And I was like, no, you can't.
Absolutely not.
Not until tomorrow.
That's what you have to do.
Yeah, I know.
I know.
But you know what?
I'm actually perfectly fine with it.
I'm fine with it too.
I told Rachel, I said, I'm not his friend.
Yeah, let him cry.
I don't know.
That's not my friend.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay?
Yeah.
My friends don't act like this.
Right, right, right, right.
I would never hang out with this guy.
He don't ever pick up the check.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, no, I'm not his friend.
I'm his parent.
You could be his friend.
So I'll be the one.
Right.
Don't do that.
You know what I'm still thinking of is that I was still thinking of?
It's right there.
Half the other half.
Yeah, I'm not going to any other half.
What is it exactly?
You want it?
It's banana.
peanut butter honey
cinnamon on toast
you want it
um
i i don't think i should
dude go to that one video
this asian guy
the big girl says this asian guy
his his company that he's like
reping all the time
his videos are so
funny to me
he always does this kind of stuff
what
look oh yeah this guy
yeah yeah yeah all this
There are the guys that could actually handle all this.
This guy's, yeah, he's been around.
Cheap neon signs with FAPFAS and ruin your new day.
Upgrade your home and shop with real quality.
Custom design specs pricing built glass.
Yeah.
This dude is just.
The guys, that's.
The other one was like, there's another one.
Oh, I didn't send that one.
But there's another word.
They do this scene from.
Lucy.
The movie?
Yeah, with, what's her name?
Scarlett.
Scarlett Gerhanssen, where she can look to these two Asian guys and she's like,
oh, there it is right there.
It's that one right.
Which one is it?
No, no, no.
Go it all the way to the left, the second one down.
That one.
Speaking English?
No, no.
He's speaking English?
Yes, yes.
Of course we speak English.
The best English.
Everybody knows that.
Right now on our website, we've got a fantastic deal, really fantastic.
It did he throws in a Trump.
And that's huge.
That's a steel.
Yeah.
But here's the thing.
It's a limited time deal.
It won't last long.
So go now, grab yours before it's gone.
You won't regret it.
That's funny.
I love that, dude.
That's funny.
Why do you like that one so much, though?
Just because of like the, the ingenuity of it, you know what I mean?
The creativity of it.
Right, right.
Like, you know, the whole thing.
He's just said, look, how do we promote our business?
And he's like, let's do it this way.
And sometimes it's just mean stuff.
You know what I mean?
You know what I mean?
You know what I've seen it?
Yeah.
I don't love those.
Oh my God.
That, yeah, you know, if you could unlock a promo, I mean, the guy's business is probably
doing well.
Yeah.
Probably.
Or he's doing well on Instagram.
All right.
Oh, what's that one I sent about the can't tell the difference between AI at the top?
I don't know which one that is.
Like, is this one of those ones that's AI?
I say I
Yeah this is the one where I'm like what?
What?
I didn't you been answering because I literally been calling you all fucking day
Bro Lee, bro, like I'm gonna call a cops on you, you can't
You can't
Yeah, this is AI, you could tell
Or I can
Well, at this point right now, why is she coming from the other side?
That's the-
Oh, I didn't see it, yeah
Broly, bro, like, I'm gonna call it cops on you, you can't
Well, those are the things,
to kind of like, see, those are the ones I think that they want to demonetize.
Yeah. Yeah. Sure. Or they at least have to like have a different pay scale or something.
Or or at least some kind of disclaimer. I don't know. Jesus. Well, I think that now they do have
to have, you know. Yeah. Because that's. But there's so many of these ones where it's like, you know,
there's like a leopard on the side of the road with like, with their baby cub and their
stopping cars. And like the person takes the cub to the vet and then everything.
works out or like a yeah you know so you just kind of like yeah like you want to you want to believe in
those kind of stories you want to go oh this is like you know I mean it'd be like if we come to
find out Charlie never bid anybody right right you know and then we'd be like oh Charlie didn't buy
that right that sucks right oh fuck I donated so much money to that family I thought they bit his
finger you know it's like that's what's missing now from all of this you know it's
like if you look at the how it went it was like so these kind of real things were
happening but it's just like you know America's funniest home video right right right
right yeah so it's like now the part of it was like wow you captured that on video that your
dad fell right this thing so now we're finding out that they're just faking that because they know
people like that yeah that's the suck right that's not it's also yeah if you imagine America's
funny some videos but all the videos were AI wouldn't be funny you know what I mean you'd be like
Yeah, but that didn't really happen because when it happens to a fucking guy who's like 45 and like a little bit overweight, it's hilarious.
But not if it's just fucking zeros and ones.
It's the same feeling when you find out a professional athlete uses steroids.
Performance enhancing drugs.
It's the same thing.
No.
No, a little bit.
Yeah.
I don't think it's a little bit.
I think it's like when you watch a sport, the sport has to have a certain level of integrity.
that you believe that this competition is fair.
And you also believe that that person is better
because they trained harder.
Yeah, yeah.
No, I agree.
Yeah.
So when you find out that they didn't, you're like,
I agree, except they're all doing that.
You know what I mean?
Well, look at, look at bodybuilding, bro.
It's like, they're just on drugs.
And they look ridiculous.
And I don't know.
I was thinking about that earlier.
But it's like, they pretend that they're not on steroids?
I don't know if they're.
pretending. They were, at least.
By here's the thing now.
Go forget about that. Talk about real
life stuff. You're working out.
You know, you work out, you lose weight.
Like if you're doing it in that way.
But now people are like, well, you're
you're on GLP.
Right, right, right, right, right.
You know, you're on Ozympic.
Yeah. You know?
So now it's, but I would, but if you're not
competing, I wouldn't care. It's like if I did steroids,
I'd just tell people. I don't care.
The fuck would I care.
you you don't care right right but you know no i i know but it's just such that that's it's like
you want people to be do you want people to be healthy or not do you want them to like is being are you
saying what's the poll you rather be fat well yeah you're going to die from heart disease or
fucking the cancer that the shit's going to give you you know it's like what's healthier
i don't know it's all about it's all the sentiment of it right yeah at least your back is
going out while you're fucking
But anyways guys
