The Golden Hour - You Still See, What's His Name? Bryan Callen? | #200
Episode Date: September 4, 2026Brendan is back for episode 200. He's coaching 10U tackle football and his defense still hasn't given up a touchdown. Chris just headlined a comedy festival in Portugal and has his first trip... to Paris coming up. The guys get into Brian Callen missing the Monday show, why none of them have ever missed a flight, how much therapy is too much, a therapist who bragged about a client to his golf buddies, and not wanting to talk to barbers, chiropractors or Uber drivers. Then it's real fighters beating up online tough guys, Brian Callen's friend who supposedly fought Cheick Kongo on a beach, the fake Amy Poehler podcast scam, a custom steering wheel order that's been "in transit" for weeks, and the $300 estate auction couch Rachel bought. After Brendan leaves to get the kids, Chris and Erik cover Calvin sleeping in their bed, The Long Walk and every Stephen King book that became a movie, self-publishing success stories like The Martian and Wool, the Tupac verdict, GTA 6, and Tim Dillon on the women showing up to support Lindsay Clancy at her trial.Get two extra episodes every month at https://Patreon.com/TheGoldenHourPodcastTo submit to the show email: thegoldenhoursubs@gmail.com or Dropbox Link: https://www.dropbox.com/request/fqtbexhxyaky9X8f8MV1In the subject line, specify whether your submission is King It or Sting It, Debate Club, Rip My Drip, Relationship Advice, or Flaunt My Aunt. Can I say something real quick?
Dude, I really miss you.
You know that?
I really, I just realized like, I, oh, man, how, you thriving out there?
How's the friendships?
Is it all just like football people and stuff?
Are you thriving?
Let me know how you doing.
I'm thriving, brother.
Yeah, I'm thriving.
Never been happier, man.
Never been happy.
And now, do you still talk to, what was his name?
Brian Callan?
We're friends that shout.
Sometimes we don't know what we're talking about, but that won't stop.
Nothing can stop
I heard you've been working out, Chris
I'm trying to give you some motivation, dude
I'm just gonna do the entire show like this
I'll see how long you can hold it
I'm starting to get lightheaded
and lightheaded
Okay now it's the podcast
It wasn't going
We didn't start yet
Oh
Oh I just said that so much
Brennan okay man
I know that's good
You're healthy and you're
I'm trying to help you guys out
No.
How?
How?
Because I've been gone and you guys looked like you're out of shape.
No, that's not true, dude.
And then I think we all know who he's talking about.
It's still okay to go with you guys.
Look at you guys.
This is like, I feel like you're running into your ex at a coffee shop.
Oh, man, dude.
You look really skinny.
Yeah.
What's up?
You've been on redda?
Like your head looks really.
big. You know what I mean?
Doesn't it doesn't it? You on Redda? No, I'm saying
I think his body used to be a little bigger
so then it like was more. Yeah, yeah. I mean I get
that but dude are you on redder or what? What do you want?
What do you want right now? I'm on fucking coaching
vibes. I'm out in the sun
24-7. Wow. I love
24-7. That's just great.
Oh, they're balling. You just out there on the sideline like yeah.
Yeah.
We don't imagine the parents. Here's the thing too just sucks about this
for the other parents. Because one,
his kids are the best.
Right.
And then he's on the sideline looking like this.
Right, right.
So they're just, every time his kid scores, their parents are like, yay.
Right.
Okay.
Again.
Yeah.
Again.
Oh, the shop boys again.
Yeah.
I'm an intense 90s football coach, man.
Oh.
I coach the, I coach the 10-you-tackle football team, and it's intense.
We've given up, we've given up, you're ready for this.
We've had three scrimmages against some of the.
top teams.
My defense has given up one first down in three games.
Oh, that's not fair, huh?
I know.
Zero touchdowns.
You don't allow it.
We actually don't allow touchdowns from the other team.
I know.
At practice,
he's probably like,
we think,
all right,
each kid,
come try to tackle me.
If you can give me,
he's just throwing kids.
Bro,
I'll tell you what,
though,
no one told me it's a full-time job.
Yeah,
well,
it is.
Yeah, welcome.
Full-time job.
But is it one of those jobs that it,
it's as full time as you make it
and then that's probably why you're winning
is because you're making it
right.
Yeah.
He's getting paid from the reins.
Right, right, right, right, right.
Oh, you're like that guy,
Dejean Love.
I can't get enough of that guy.
It's amazing, man.
Eric doesn't know about it.
Yeah, the guy.
Oh, you know about it.
Oh, you know about it.
Oh, you sent it.
I thought Nick sent it.
Nick sent it, bro.
But do you sure?
Yeah, I think, yeah,
maybe some of the teams we played
they don't put as much time into it,
but then me and the other coach,
AJ, who played high level ball,
we, we, we know,
we're on it, man.
Yeah, that's good.
These kids are,
these kids are bawling.
Oh, that's great.
Speaking of ball and I'm pretty,
I'm working out a lot.
You are.
Yeah, you do look good, dude.
Thanks, bro.
So do you,
you've lost weight too, Eric, Con.
Yeah, the, the,
freaking testosterone stuff really like, you know.
Oh, yeah.
Because then I was, I was,
the lady wanted to up the dosage,
and I said,
no, I don't want to do that because I like the balance.
And then I'm going to, I just have to incorporate the workout.
Yeah.
That's probably more, going to be more helpful than just being on drugs or whatever.
Yeah.
Plus you like your pussy wet.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
I want to have a little pussy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
No, but it's good.
I like, I like, run it up, dude, dog.
Just wait until I start lifting again.
Yeah.
Let me get bigger than you.
Let me.
You'll never hear the end of it.
I do.
I would send Brendan a, uh, uh,
thing the other day where it said, if you can lift
225 on your chest, then that's
amazing. And he says, well, what,
what about if you can do it 40 times
in a row?
He always got to make it. Yeah, I can do
it like seven. We can't just be happy, right?
You can't just be like, hey, dude, I did
this. And immediately he goes, what
can you do it 40 times? Yeah.
So Chris sent that. And I go, oh, that's
cool because it's like saying, if you can do it more
than five times, less than 1% of the
nation, you do it more than five times. No, it was
once. That's cool. Yeah, yeah, one.
That's right. I said, damn, that's crazy.
What's the guy save can do it 40, though?
Yeah.
And Christian says, I don't know, man.
Yeah, but what do you mean that for?
No, you don't.
I mean, you don't.
Like 1% of people can do it.
So that means like, like, you never need that unless somebody's like, oh my God, can you help me?
Yeah.
I have 2.25.
Yeah, yeah.
It's on top of me.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like, my dude.
Brin is there.
Brin is there.
House is on fire.
You got a big bitchers are big.
these days. Girls are fat.
You know what? You ain't lying.
Bitches are big.
I saw a working
out video like
from the 80s and
the fit women looked so
different than they do now.
They look like women? Yeah. First well
but first of all
they didn't have no none of them had
big butts. None of them had ass.
No asses didn't come cool to Kim K.
K. No no it was something about the
It was something about the workout, though, that it made it like...
Yeah, they had long asses.
It was those aerobic things that don't do anything to the ass.
Well, that's true.
But also, they had long ass.
They had long asses.
Yeah, it was flat asses, big tits, blonde bleached hair.
The big tits, like, if you had a big ass, they made fun of you.
They made funny if you had a big ass.
It's like, I get made fun for a big weener.
Right, right.
I'm always making fun of him for having a big weiner.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's just out there.
There's actually a whole red.
it. Yeah.
Big winner.
Big brown weiner.
Dude, what the heck, man?
Big brown weiner.
I'm an international, dude.
I was in Portugal.
I'm going to different, I'm going to different European cities in October.
Chrisley.com.
I'm going to be in Springfield, Missouri this weekend.
I'm going to be in Atlanta and Birmingham, Alabama.
Dude, what's up, Florida?
Let's go.
Chrisley.
You know, I say to Chris, I said, how was the eye candy out there?
Are the women beautiful out there?
Yeah.
He goes.
Portugal?
Yeah, but no, he goes like this.
He goes, well, you know, if they're not from Sweden and like, that's not what I said.
And I'm like, oh, so you're, it was a little racist.
It was a little racist.
I am now.
If they're not white, he's like, well, you know, they're nice.
Here's the deal.
If they're not blue eyes and pure bread, I don't like them.
Here's the deal.
I have, uh, become what has known to be racist.
Uh, not.
Yeah.
And, you know, I'm not saying.
I'm racist. I've come to be what's known as racist.
Chris is racist adjacent.
You know what I mean?
I'm race-ished.
That's the new show.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Why are we out in Portugal for, are you on Cruz?
No, there was a, no, there was a comedy festival that I was headlining.
I had no idea.
What?
In Portugal?
Portugal, yeah.
The dude came out.
He was like, come on out.
We're doing a comedy festival.
I said, okay, set it all up, pay me nice.
went there and they go thank he he got I show up and they're like I'm I
showing they're like thank you for headlining the festival I go what I should
ask for more yeah but but but but there were other people there like Sam Morrill and
and and Michelle Wolfe and you know what you were like you're like you were like if
you know like when Messi came to the United States yeah yeah yeah like the good
soccer's over yeah that's what just was like yeah yeah yeah so you just kind of like
went over and you were like the best well I I I said you didn't even know
Well, but I said yes to the festival.
And then I go and then I'm like like a month later.
I was like, I don't even know.
Is this festival who else is in it?
And I and I looked and Sam and Michelle were there and they're legit.
So I'm like, oh, cool.
It's like a, you know.
Did you even see them?
No, I didn't know.
We were each a different night.
So, but yeah, it was fun.
It was fun.
And the crowd was good?
Yeah, the crowd was great, bro.
And how long were you out there?
There's a lot of expats in places like that, man.
What's that?
No, they were.
Portuguese. What?
How long were you out there?
Like four days, three day, four days, you know, something?
Enough.
Yeah, enough to see it.
Yeah, yeah, I did.
And I walked around.
It was cool.
Dude, you guys, you never been to Lisbon and Portugal, right?
No, I haven't been.
No.
It's nice.
Yeah.
You know, but when I come back, when I come back, I'm, you know, as nice as it is, you know, by
the way, nobody's fat.
It's unbelievable.
Nobody is fat.
Like, it's just because you've got to walk around so much and it's great.
And the food is good.
But you, you, you come, I come back, I still come back and I go.
America.
Yes.
You know what you mean?
Yeah.
As much as I like it, no matter where I go, I come back and I go, oh, man, thank God.
When my parents were living in Spain, you know, I would go and it would be like, it's just like the way they live, there's a certain part of you that you, you, you miss, like, the accessibility of everything in the United States, you know?
Like, you go there, like, like, Spain is, that's a lazy-ass country.
Yeah, I know.
Like, you know, I'm talking about, they shut, everything shuts down and one to four.
You know what I mean?
And you're just kind of like, I didn't lunch yet too.
Even the immigrants were in Spain and they were like, hey, it's okay.
Yeah, you know, but it's like the cost of living is really low there.
But it's different, like certain things, you know.
Yeah.
No, I, I think people romanticize about like living in Spain or living in Barcelona.
It's like, go ahead.
Go ahead.
Yeah.
And yeah, I don't know.
I don't know.
You know, I mean, I'm going to, I'm going to Paris for the first time and I'm going to.
gay, gay.
You know, we'll see.
But yeah, when I come back, I'm always.
Wait, wait, you've never been to Paris?
No, I never been to Paris.
Oh, wow.
But I'm only 46.
I know, but are you taking?
Is the wife coming?
I hope, no, I don't think so.
I want her to buy her.
Oh, Paris is romantic, dude.
You got to bring the wife.
If you go to Paris by yourself, there's nothing gay or dude.
But listen to me.
You've got to take wifey, otherwise it's super zesty.
I'm going to be there for one day.
And then I got another show the next day.
for what?
Yeah, you gotta take her.
Yeah, you gotta take her.
For Paris to like, you know, you know what I mean?
Yeah, but I'm just saying.
Paris is like a-
I'll be there for 16 days in Europe.
Every night is like a different city.
I'm a working man.
Dude, you know what it's like.
When you're out there, you're like, all right, dude.
Oh, where's that for, that's cool?
All right, I gotta go to my show.
Who cares?
Get a pastry and a baguette.
Let's go.
You could be anywhere.
Oh, yeah, you're gonna have a little,
you're gonna have a little, what is that,
a beret on?
Oh my God, I would love that.
a little beret with a baguette
smoking cigarettes
but it has to be a coffee in a little
you know what to be like a little
yeah yeah yeah yeah that's gonna be great
you've been to Paris
Brennan no no desire
hate that place oh really yeah okay
you know what can I say something
real quick I'm dude I really
miss you you know that
I really I just realize like
I mean how you thriving
out there how's the friendships is it all
just like football people and stuff
are you do are you thriving let me know how you doing
I'm thriving, brother.
Yeah, I'm thriving.
Never been happier, man.
Never been happier.
And now, do you still talk to, what was his name?
Brian Callan?
You talk to that guy?
What was his name, Cullen?
Was it Cullen?
So Brian, Monday's show.
We've been doing the show 15 years together.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He's always late.
Makes up shit.
Oh, there's a volcano.
I can't get out.
Some bullshit.
Still.
Monday he just, Monday he just goes.
Bro, straight up.
It's left in.
Miss my flight.
Not going to make it.
I just went, man, I appreciate you being honest.
He was, man, let's do it later.
I said, not a chance.
I'll see you Wednesday.
That's just where we're at.
Oh, my gosh.
Oh, my gosh.
He was in my, I was doing, he was in Miami, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Can I tell you something?
He's 60.
In the history of me doing this over 20 years,
I have never missed a flight.
Never once.
Not one fucking time have I missed a flight.
Not once.
Like, it's not even in me to miss a flight.
Same.
You know what I mean?
I'm at the airport right now.
Yeah, yeah.
I got a person in line for me that I hire, that they're just at security.
Never.
Oh, you mean we're responsible adults?
Yeah.
That's one of those things that like, you know, when you start dating someone, like when you first started dating your wives, right?
You know?
And then you're going to go travel with them.
You have to sort of establish these boundaries up front because I like to get to the airport early.
Yeah, but women don't.
Rachel want to chase the plane.
You know what I mean?
like Tom Cruising
Yeah she want to be on a runway
Let us in
You know what I mean
So I had to break that from jump
She was like why are we going to the airport so early
I was like oh this what we do bitch
In the beginning of first I
Yeah yeah
This is what we doing you know so it's like
I don't get that thing
I never the closest I've ever come to missing a flight
Was in Portugal
It's because the fucking
Customs holy shit dude
Oh right that kind of stuff
Yeah but that's not all you
No, right, a little bit, sure.
It depends on the time you gave you.
Yeah, I mean, it would have been my fault, I think,
because I stopped and I ate at the airport like an idiot,
and then I went to.
Yeah.
No, no, for me, one time I was in London,
and they had this train that goes from, like,
at whatever time.
And I didn't realize that the train didn't start at a time
where you can make your, like, you know, you know what I mean?
So I was like, I was like, so I'm missing my flight.
Oh, yeah.
Then I had to go to late,
And the lady says to me, lucky your 1K, you know, in United
that's such an attitude.
But that's the only time I never.
Yeah.
I mean, that's different than, that is different than that's different.
If you're just, this is what I don't like.
You're just at home.
No, I've never missed a flight.
You're like, hey, what do we doing?
Oh, I have to, you know, whatever.
And then you like missed a flight.
Like, no thank you.
Yeah.
Bro, bro, the only flight I've ever been even close to missing,
it's only happened once I've flown like you guys a million fucking times.
it was when I was supposed to fly out for camp for the Buffalo Bills.
My dad was like, hey, man, you better get going, and he was going to take me.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I just like last track of time.
Wow.
And my dad was so stressed going down like a fucking 100 miles an hour down the highway.
I almost missed the flight.
And that would have been disastrous.
You know what?
Oh, wow.
You're not really wanting to do it.
I don't know.
Yeah, maybe.
Maybe.
My feelings are super hurt.
Psychiatrist over her.
I'm just saying, you know.
That's self-sabotage.
Man, I'm trying to make the lead, dog.
Listen, if I go to a psychiatrist and they do that,
I would just be like, I got to get out of here.
That guy believes too much in himself, right?
Yeah.
Somebody's like, so Chris.
They usually do this.
Let's back up a few steps.
Oh, God.
Yeah, fuck.
Let's talk about your mother.
It's always about the moms.
Let's talk about your mother.
Wait, I know you got into therapy,
but before everything, did you ever do therapy before that?
I remember the first time I ever was,
went to therapy.
Like I just want, I said, let me try that, you know,
because I was whatever was dealing with, right?
And I, and I, the person starts talking.
And I remember being like this.
I was like, nope.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Same.
Same.
Same.
I tried it once.
Oh, no.
It's not for me.
Dude, I didn't vibe with this person.
I just remember thinking, now I'm not telling you all my dark secrets.
I don't know you like this, bitch.
Oh, my God.
In my mind.
I was like, I don't know you like that.
And I just, I left.
I really was like, yeah, this isn't.
You know, and I didn't go back for a while.
Then I remember going back later for other reasons.
And I was like, oh, I really like this.
I don't love going.
I don't love therapy.
I've done it for a while.
I did it for a while.
And, you know, it helped me, I guess, work some stuff out.
I don't think it's bad.
But, like, I do think too much of it is bad.
Like, I don't, you know, the second you're doing it like twice a week and like, you know,
or you got different therapists, I think it's too much, at least for me it was.
I can always tell.
I can always tell somebody's taking too much therapy.
because they start saying certain words.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm making space for this.
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
I value what you're saying.
Yeah.
I suck my thing.
I acknowledge what you're saying.
I appreciate it.
But coming from my perspective,
I'll fuck off.
Yeah.
I think therapy is like training
and you don't,
you never play a game.
Oh, yes.
What's the game be for therapy?
Life.
Life.
It's taking these coping mechanisms
and using them in life.
You can't always just go talk about them.
But I remember the therapist that moved me the most is I'm talking to her.
She said, tell me why you, you know.
And then she says these words and I was hooked.
She says, you have an exaggerated sense of responsibility.
I heard that and I was like, I'm listening.
I'm listening.
I'm listening.
That got me.
And I was like, yeah, I was like, I'm listening.
And I was like, okay, so you're really assessing.
And then they got to a point where I was like, I said, yeah, I think I'm done.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You know, and then that part, she was like, you know what, you are done.
Good luck.
You know.
Oh, wow.
You got a reward.
Dude, I fucking went and they're like, you know, tell me about your trauma.
And I go, I don't have trauma.
She goes, well, just tell me about it.
And then we'll decide at the end.
She's like, trauma is different for everybody.
I got a buddy.
Like I'm telling her about my friends, trauma in their childhood.
So I go through all mine and she's like, you have some of the most severe trauma I've
ever heard of.
I'm like, oh, and let me guess.
I need to buy a package to keep talking about it.
But I'm sorry, it was a guy.
I go the following whatever week, two weeks later.
He goes, hey man, you'll find this pretty funny, which is super illegal.
He goes, I was golfing with my buddies.
And I mentioned doing my work with you.
And they freaked out.
What?
You can't do that.
He broke hip-a-laws.
Yeah, I was like, oh, well, this is done.
You didn't go to a real therapist.
This is over.
It was real.
It was Israel.
It was Brian Callum.
You are such an Andrews-Selling.
That's that.
Oh, man.
he probably thought that was cool.
That's crazy.
Yeah.
Yeah, he thought it was cool.
You know, he probably thought that was cool.
Then you were just going to be like, oh, well, who was it?
Thanks for, you know, it's like, I think the look on your face, he probably thought, oh, I think I made a mistake.
Oh, I was just like, check please.
Check please.
Like you say, fucking.
Thanks for the therapy.
Can I have the check?
That'd be great after every therapy session.
They give you a check.
It says on there, we dealt with your mom.
We dealt with, you know, and you have to sign.
Do you like the tip here?
Yeah.
I don't know.
Whatever, dude.
I don't even like talking about therapy.
I don't even like talking about it because it's like,
let me just fucking deal with my problems inside my head
and not really talk about them when I don't want to.
And then if I do want to,
let's make jokes about them, dude.
Yeah, yeah, that's what we do.
Oh, man.
Here's my thing, right?
Therapy's the new hotness.
Like, therapy's the hotness, right?
Everyone, go see a therapist.
Make sure you tell somebody, go to this.
Yeah, yeah.
How's that going?
Oh, weird.
The suicide rates through the rule.
since we started this whole
meet with a therapist, tell your friends, all this shit.
Those people that weren't in therapy.
It's never been higher.
Yeah, but those people aren't in therapy.
Yeah, I don't know.
I don't know.
Like, what are the percentage of your people?
They are, though, Chris.
They are there.
You know what I'm saying?
Like back in the day before we had all this therapy,
dude just got to work.
He kept your feelings in.
You bottle them up.
Maybe you tell your buddy at the bar,
and then you get to work, dude.
It's not even your buddy.
You tell the bartender.
Yeah, but they all died at like 50.
you know.
Brendan's about that.
Well, that's diet.
Here's my feelings.
Yeah.
I'm going to push them down like I do that 225 and I'm going to do it 40 times like this.
I'm doing feeling repressers.
Four sets.
Four sets of 10.
That be a great gym, right?
That's the gym.
You go in.
There's not no equipment.
Yeah.
Over there you think about how your mom ruined you and I need you to do like just suppress it.
Suppress it.
Dude, wouldn't it be dope if your therapist was actually a high?
high-end masseuse and just like rubbing your back like tell me out your childhood and then you're there for an
hour well that's valuable that's valuable too is masseuse you don't have they don't have to all be an all in
one but yeah and they should also feed you and suck you I know but you're just talking about a wife I know but
I don't want to talk there's there's do your laundry okay guys guys guys guys guys get your dirty clothes
they give you a burger and massage you and ask you about your day oh hell yeah dude
there are people that you go to for certain things that you're in like close
proximity to
that I don't want to have conversations with.
Of course.
And that is really frustrating.
Yeah.
Like I went to this barb.
I was out of town.
I needed to get a haircut.
Uber drivers.
And I went to the barber shop, right?
And you know, the guy's cutting your hair.
You know, I'm just like, okay, okay.
And then he starts like, what are you in town for?
And I'm like, oh, my God.
Yeah.
The worst.
You know what are you in town for?
Like, I'm like, bro, just like, and then this guy's controlling your look right now.
You don't want to be a dick, you know?
You said, dude, I don't want to talk.
You're like this.
All right.
You think the guy doesn't want to talk?
You want to see how he doesn't want to purpose?
There's nothing worse.
Like now I got a legit bar router.
But when I was like trying to find a good barbeder
he sit down and they go,
so what do you do for work?
It's like, oh, I don't want to get into this.
My chiropractor talks too much.
But he at least admits it.
He knows he talks too much.
That is, that does go a long way.
You know what I mean?
He's just like, look, man.
He says like this.
Look, I ask a lot of questions.
I'm going to talk a lot.
Is he am.
you know and I'm like okay all right
because at least you could be like yo bro come on
man you know many questions but he could he
but the thing is like chiropractor is not necessarily
a massage but there's some things
they do that you just kind of want to
ooh that hurts yeah he wants so I'm in the middle of breathing
heavy because he's in a knot and he's like
yeah so how was that trip you went on this weekend
and I'm just like bitch
you know what I but he's great
I don't know I love him but it's like he does
talk too much I just don't like
I don't like talking to people you know Uber
yeah Uber driver
though? Like,
I don't mind Uber drivers
when it's a...
Quiet, you go.
When it's an old black dude
because I know that...
Oh, they're fun.
He's retired.
Because it's always the same conversation.
I go, why are you doing this?
He goes, oh, man, I retired like 22 years ago
and I just need something to do.
So I'm just like...
You know, it's just like, and I love that.
Because they get the stories.
Well, you know where it wasn't the same back then.
What the fuck am I in Louisiana?
Yeah.
So I've got to do a few of those.
But yeah, I don't want to talk to.
But even, you know, I think they're resentful when you have that option and you put it.
You know what it says like, I don't want to talk.
Oh, for sure.
So offensive.
There's an Uber driver's when they checked out.
But you know what I'll do.
So to make sure the Uber driver just doesn't talk my ear off and ask a bunch of questions, I come in with questions.
What up, man?
How's your day?
I'll start talking.
Oh, yeah, where are you from?
And then because I don't want him to turn around and be like, so what do you do?
I know.
I get that.
Oh, this, this.
I get that.
He doesn't want to talk about himself so much.
Yeah.
Even,
yeah.
That he becomes.
He's the therapist.
I'm the chatist now.
Yeah.
Like the fucking.
The Uber driver's like,
Hey man,
can we just be quiet on their ride?
I don't know.
Weird shit, man.

I don't know. The go-to, if you don't want to talking, as soon as you can get in,
Do you mind if you turn the music up?
Can you put the radio on?
That lets him out.
I want silence.
I tell I have to turn the music down.
No, I want nothing on me.
I have my headphones on because I just got off the plane or whatever.
I got my headphones on and I'm just like doing like this.
Yeah, but here's the deal.
This is very me, but I don't want to have to put headphones on because of what you're doing.
But I already have them on.
Well, you want them on.
Yeah.
Right, I don't.
So if I got to put on headphones.
Well, then you're going to have to talk.
Then you're inviting him to.
to talk.
Tell a story.
You're asking for stories.
I might say something like, yeah.
And then I keep going real short.
Uh-huh.
You know what it feels like?
You've got to be like Arnold Schwarzenegger and true lies.
You know, like you're just lying to your family for 25 years about what you really
do.
You got to make it super boring because the messed up part is like, you know, when they go,
what are you in town for?
And then you don't, you go, I'm a comic.
And then as soon as you say that, it's just like, oh, my God.
You know, Dale Chappelle?
Yeah.
You know, Dave, that.
Fuck.
It turns into that.
I'm sure the same kind of thing
if you're like, yeah, well,
I do this,
I used to be a fighter
or whatever,
you know,
then it just becomes a whole thing.
They'll be like this.
Oh,
you do stand up?
Do you know this guy who,
oh man,
I saw the other day he was so funny.
And it turns out to be like
fucking Nate Brugatsy
and you're like,
he's the biggest fucking comic in the world.
Yes.
Who's the guy,
Bill Burr,
that's it.
You're like,
yeah,
I know,
I know who he is.
Bro,
all of guys,
I just,
happens all the time at this truck shop I deal with.
They're like, man, do you, do you know smoking Joe Razor?
Yeah, he was a boxer in New Jersey, man.
How about three fights?
You know him?
You know Slimmy Foot Jr.?
It's like there in Mississippi.
Like there's one bar that all the fighters are out in?
Yeah.
You should just always respond with, I killed that man.
I killed that man in early 2010 in a fight.
You know that fighter I sent you, that thing, that guy's Instagram?
I don't know if that's real or not.
Does he really doing that or is that all set up?
You guys would know this fighter, but he like, he's always like beating up online bullies.
Is that, I don't know if that's real.
What's his name?
Bully B.
Down?
No, he's got some kind of like.
You sent it to Nick?
Some Roganoff or something.
He's got one of those kind of like.
Beef Roganoff?
He's got one of those names.
That's his name.
Befrogonoff.
This guy.
You know?
What's his name?
How can I see it, Chin?
I got it.
Do you know who he is, Nick?
This.
I don't know who that is.
They look like they're five foot four.
This guy fought at the,
I thought he fought at the White House thing.
I thought this was the guy,
one of the guys in those undercards
at the White House fight.
Everything is content.
Yeah, but these, you know,
he's like,
and then these bullies, you know,
come in, they talk shit to him,
and then, like, you know, he beats him up.
And I don't know if it's real or not.
And he's the guy on the right, correct?
Yeah.
Oh, well.
I just don't understand why anybody would
challenge a guy who fights to a fight
to a fight.
Well, a lot of these online people, listen, a lot of these people online, they've never
experienced anything in real life.
Everything's content.
They say stuff.
It's like that guy that Mani Pachial beat up.
You know that guy that Asian dude that's online?
He's always like, I'm the best.
He's fighting in the world.
Mani Pachial beat his ass.
You know what I mean?
He beat his ass.
And it's like, you go, oh, well, then everything you did online is fake.
So a lot of these, like, online guys, they like to talk trash.
And then this real fighter was like, I'll beat you up.
There was a guy this past week,
and granted he didn't really fight another real fighter,
but he's online, and forget his name.
King Azule.
What is it?
King Azule.
King of Zule, I guess.
He's big online.
He's like telling these stories how he's in the mob,
how he fought 30 guys.
Yeah, yeah, I know that guy.
I know about it.
He fought 30 guys.
He's done this.
He beat 40 guys.
He was the muscle for the mafia
and signs up for a real fight.
Doesn't fight a real fighter,
but then got beat up.
Really?
Like his whole show.
stick has been he's being this badass thing gets in this fight and he can't fight
my thing is like if that's your stick why the fuck would you sign up for real fight yeah
for real bro if you're gonna lie keep the lie going it's like that dejon love guy for the
saying he's a 49ers then the nineers like cool yeah yeah come on into the game he's like what the
fuck like yeah go play receiver go run in the middle go run in the middle field let me not
go's for you yeah but if you're a guy that's like you know let's say you're a bouncer at a club
okay and like the people that come to the club
none of these people most of the people you run into
probably have never really been in a fight sure you probably can handle that
sure but these people that train and this is all they do is train
like they you know yeah that's yeah of course you're just they're just training
all the time and they're fighting all the time that's like a whole other level that
oh bro bro bro Brian Callan had this buddy and Brian with in this one I first met
I already know Brian's wrong.
Dude, so Brian had this buddy, and he was like, yeah, man, he fought like Vanderlae Silva.
He fought Czech Congo on a beach.
And I go, what do you mean?
He goes, he has like 40 fights, dude.
He wrestled at Arizona State.
I go, really?
What's his name?
And I know guys that wrestle Arizona State.
And he tells me, I go, I've never heard of him, man.
He goes, now I'm telling these guys the real deal.
I'm like, okay, Brian.
So I meet him.
And I go, hey, Brian mentioned you wrestled at Arizona State?
He goes, yeah, yeah, I go, what years?
He told me the years ago, oh, man, my coach.
Coach McVe Van Arsdale was there.
And then I know Kane and Ryan Bader and those boys.
Wow.
When were you there?
He's like, oh, man, that makes sense.
Oh, there we go.
You love this.
He goes, listen, I wasn't like a fishing on the team,
but they would let me in to the practice room to wrestle with them.
So it's like the same thing.
And I go, okay.
And then he goes, yeah, but I've been some fights too.
I go, yeah, Brian mentioned you fought Czech Congo?
He goes, yeah, man, Brazil on the beach.
I go, it was a sanctioned fight.
He goes, yep.
And I go, oh, damn, I train with Chuck Congo.
I know, I have a cell phone.
I can, you want me to call him?
Dude, I'll do a FaceTime with him.
He goes, nah, no, no.
He goes, maybe not Czech Congo.
Oh, wow.
What was the guy's name?
I look at Brian, I go, really?
Really, motherfucker?
Come on, dude.
Well, he also was going to be on Amy Poller's podcast, too.
And he was going to tell those stories.
The whole thing is bullshit
He was gonna be with Amy Polar
Like I knew a guy that fought Chet Conga on
This is Brian
This Brian a year later
Maybe it wasn't Amy Polar
Maybe he's Amy Schumer
Dude Brian
When he got a hustle
At Amy Polar I go Brian
At what point did you realize
It wasn't actually Amy Polar
He goes
Well I was talking to her assistant
And they told me I was gonna zoom in
And then the guy goes
Hey, I want to take control of your laptop.
So give me access.
And he goes, and then I gave him access.
And I saw the mouse moving around.
And it wasn't in the camera specs and all that.
Started going to my bank account.
No.
This is what he said?
Yeah, dude.
He goes, and then I got out, man.
I got out.
So he shared the access with him?
Oh, yeah.
And he had full access to his computer.
And went and saw the guy go to into his bank account?
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Are you fucking kidding me?
There's a scamming right now is so big that I think that.
So hot right now.
I think that bill collectors right now are out of business.
Because like I owe something from my lease and the bank called and the lady on the phone was like, yeah.
She goes, well, I just need to verify your information.
I said to her like that.
Yeah, right.
Dude, I said, I don't know you.
I was like, I don't know you like that.
I said, I'm not giving anybody any information over the phone.
And she goes, yeah, I understand that.
You know?
So I'm like, bye.
You know what I mean?
Like bill collectors, that business is done.
Like somebody can't call you right now and be like, hey, you know, you owe this on your account.
And then like, okay, so verify the- Cool.
I'm going to send you a fax.
Is that dog?
It's a picture that dog.
But the thing is, it's like they have to verify who you are.
And if they can't, it's like, sorry.
Like, I don't even, I don't trust emails.
Like, you get emails.
How about this?
I don't click on a link.
Yeah, man.
How many times you get a, I don't go on X, but.
But you get emails, someone's trying to hack in your thing.
You look at the address.
It's like info hamburger.com.
You're like, oh, this is not X.
And the sucky part is they're also stealing the code from the actual website,
putting it so it looks like, oh, this looks like Facebook.
You're just kind of like any.
I don't care.
That whole thing is like, now it's like you can't trust anybody.
I don't know you.
I don't know you.
I remember that time, Brendan, the guy was like,
I sent you that thing.
It was like somebody sent me to think,
you're going to be on Fightering the Kid
and blah blah and I was like
I know this person
What you're talking about?
Yeah I think they stopped doing it with us
They stopped doing with firing the kid
And Big Brown Breakdown
Then they started doing it for
Rogan deals with it still to this day
It kind of died out
Because it's you know
Amy Poller kind of died out
But I know Rogan still us to deal with it
Yeah I was asked to be on your podcast
It's really fucking hilarious
I'm like he doesn't even have guests
You know but it's like they're there
It's all fake I just don't know what
I don't know how anybody can still get,
I know how they can get fooled
because the things look real.
You know, it looks legit.
So now you go, that makes it,
that makes it where even legit emails,
you have to like,
you're leery of anything now.
So it's like, I don't even know if emails even,
like what do you even do with emails?
I mean, if, if,
even if my finance guy emails me,
I text them, yo, you sent this, right?
Oh, God, that sucks.
It didn't even be like that.
Well, I mean, it's probably overboard,
but.
I know better be like that
Yeah
Better to be that than something
Yeah but can you imagine
But can you imagine you're looking at the computer
And then like you know
It's a Bank of American website opens up
And what like how long did it take him to be like
How did he get out of it though?
What do you do just close the laptop
You turn up to the internet
They close to then have access
Then he just froze his bank accounts
So nobody could get access
That's crazy
Crazy
I follow an account where the guy
He reversed hacks down
hackers. Oh yeah, yeah.
I love that shit.
These Indian people get mad.
They're just furious over there.
Fuck you.
You know.
Yeah.
Get off my computer.
Because he like hacks into their like, you know,
webcams and all this stuff.
Dude, I had someone hustle me.
They had a legit site.
They had people DME recommend their products for a truck part like a custom
steering wheel, Alcantara steering wheel.
So I place the order and they do take like eight weeks.
10 weeks go by.
10 weeks.
And I'm like,
I email me.
DM yo man just checking in
would love an update usually people give me updates
when you're working on something like this let me know
he goes all done man sends me the FedEx tracking
like oh cool click on the FedEx tracking
it says uh ready for pickup
like all right whatever another two weeks go by
I'm trying to look at the tracking and it says
it's the shipments in Indiana
you can just tell it's like bullshit
you tell it's bullshit where that what they're doing
is they're probably just putting an empty package
into FedEx so it looks like it
and it just travels around buying them
time. Wow, this shit's like Fars Gump.
Wow. They're fucking just running.
The package is just headed different places.
That's like, but it just gives you like a little bit of like
Yeah, it sucks.
It's so dumb.
And I even email, I'm like, man, this is so dumb
because A, I use my Amex for this exact reason.
I just establishes fraud.
They pay me back.
And now I'm just going to blast your shit out there
make sure nobody else buys it dude
you do kind of have a track record for
buying nonsense yeah
the bicycle whatever you bought a cat
that you weren't supposed to
yeah yeah
I don't think I've ever
I don't think I've ever
dealt with that
buy something you know
yeah I don't think so
I don't think I've ever ever done that
yeah I don't know I'm too suspicious
though you are suspicious
you know
um
yeah I don't I fucking
that's a scary time though
oh speaking of
what
Speaking of buying stuff, you're not supposed to buy.
Oh, my God, dude.
So Rachel, Brendan, is on this, like, a state website, you know, auction website.
Like, looking at houses?
No, no, no, it's like estate auctions, like where they, like, like people's things and maybe they, they died and no one's collected.
Oh, like you can buy Dolly Parton's tits or something since she passed away?
So she thought, she found herself buying a couch, okay?
This is a little couch.
I won the auction and she goes to pick up.
excited. Oh, she was super excited.
And I said to her, you know, and she goes, well, it's too late.
It's not unfundable.
You know, that's the couch, Brendan.
Okay, you see it?
Looks fine.
You see it?
Sure.
All right.
Now, here's the picture of her and her friend on the couch.
I can't wait for this.
No, no, make it a little bit.
I can't see.
Yeah.
That's them on the couch.
That's so tiny.
It's a tiny, tiny couch.
It's a love.
I don't even know if it's a love seat.
I can't.
I can sit on it.
Because if I sit in the middle, you can hear it going.
Oh, wow.
All that thing's old as fuck, bro.
Yeah, dude.
So she thought she was getting some thing that, you know.
But you know what?
Look at the other picture real quick.
Dick, look at the other picture.
If you look at this picture.
Yeah.
It's in front of the fucking.
It's, it's, it's, that's photoshopped into, because look at the lamp.
It makes it feel like it's like that looks way bigger than it really.
Also, it's in front of where it should be against the wall.
Against the wall, it'd be way smaller.
It's, I'm a detective, dude.
It's unbelievable.
you know so I'm just like I say you got got okay don't go on this side anymore was it super expensive
$300 wow and then is it in the house now yes yes and then she was clowning me about Timo
because I bought a couple things like I bought this sign on Tmoo that was supposed to be this big
the motherfucker was this big right I was furious so she's saying to me like this is not like
Timu how much did oh before it even showed up yeah oh wow before we even showed she's
talking about my stuff.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So I'm looking at it.
It's in our bedroom,
I should have taken a picture
of how stupid it was.
Well, yeah, yeah, you gotta take a picture
of you in it, this ain't shit.
This is dumb.
But look at, you think that that's,
oh my God.
Yeah, you got to take a picture.
That was some rich old white lady
who passed away.
That was her shit.
You know, I got in trouble.
It's definitely haunted.
That's, that's Rachel's frown.
That's Rachel's friend, Amanda.
Okay.
She looks like she's enjoying that.
Rachel has three.
Amanda's in her life.
Oh yeah, you told me this.
Right?
This is Cranda.
Which is crazy?
Which is crazy.
So then, so this is what happened.
Wouldn't it be Cramanda or no?
I just like calling Cranda.
The black one's Blanda.
You know?
Bramanda, no.
All right.
And there's another one we call her Fanda.
But let's not even talk about why we call it.
You don't like Blanda?
No.
No, we can just Blanda.
It's not, whatever.
It's better that way.
Anyways.
So Rachel's in the car with her.
What?
He said Waconda.
What?
He said Waconda.
Be like you killed him Wanda.
Wakanda Sykes.
I like that.
So it's super racist.
Yeah.
She's in the car with this girl.
And so Rachel's...
Where to fuck, Black Panther?
Rachel sends me this picture.
And so I say to her, okay, your name, your new name now is Crachel.
Yeah.
Okay?
Yeah.
So I said, it's Cratiel and Cranda.
Right.
So Rachel's in the car with her.
Oh.
And she has the, you know, where it reads the thing.
Oh, no.
So now this girl's all like, what's cranda?
Well, I'm surprised you didn't even tell her.
You got to tell her she's cranda.
Well, now we have to.
Yeah, well, of course.
What's cranda?
Oh, you smell like cranberries.
I got to go.
Why's he driving the way?
You hate to talk about cranberries, I guess.
Anyways, let's sit down.
Dude, I'm not mad at that haunted couch, though.
Yeah.
That haunted couch is kind of cool.
But you can't, this is, oh my God.
So that's my life.
Well, it's all right.
At least they have sunglasses the right size.
That actually would look better in the Harry Potter house.
Right.
Yeah.
So tell.
Because it's for kids.
Yeah, we'll sell it for $350.
You may have to make a profit all that?
For sure.
You make it bigger in the picture.
We just go send a Kristen that picture, the other picture.
Can we show this?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
What is this?
This is my buddy I was talking about.
he watches the podcast.
Oh,
that's funny,
dude.
Phil Brendan in.
Yeah.
Oh,
Brendan,
so I go to Vegas
with a buddy of mine,
okay?
And he's going ham
at the table,
dude.
I mean,
ham.
Like,
he walks up the table
and asks for markers.
Like,
they know him.
He's like Norm
from Cheers at the,
at the crap table,
okay?
So then I tell Rachel about it.
I go,
he was kind of crazy.
And Rachel tells
his wife,
Oh, no.
Every wife is an op a little bit.
Yeah, she tells his wife.
So I said, babe, what are you doing?
So then I told him about it, and then he sent me this text message.
Don't worry, I don't think you're the ops.
My wife is well aware I'm a degenerate, but funny.
Now, if I spent the time with a bunch of whores and not craps table,
that would have caused me some trouble, LMA.
It's cool.
A lot of typos, so we see why you're friends.
I mean, degen, people use that for sure.
Not caused my some trouble, LMA.
But yeah.
This guy over here, the English teacher.
I'm a, what do you call it, Nazi, grammar Nazi?
What's that what they say?
Brose, I got two more minutes.
Okay.
I get to pick up the kiddos.
Hell yeah, dude.
Well, thanks for coming in, buddy.
Yeah, you know, we got to do this a little more often, I think.
No, shut up, Eric, dude.
We don't say thanks.
It's just at 130, man.
It's just at 130 kills me.
No, I know.
It's all good, bro.
Fucking, come or don't, bro.
We got to handle you, come or don't.
I'm chilling, bro.
I'll just be me.
I'll come or don't.
don't. Just film this shit.
Just Knits over there saying something every now and in.
Yeah, he's like, hey.
Brendan, the second you left, Chris changed it to 1130.
Yeah.
Yelp.
And he showed up at, and he came at 1145.
No.
I just, I had to.
I said to him what time until I go, oh, so when the guy that can beat you up is not here,
all of a sudden, you're coming in whenever you want?
Like he's going to beat me up for being late.
As soon as I left, Chris is like, all right, new captain.
I'm the captain.
No, I needed it to be at 11.30.
I needed it.
We're showing up at 2 p.m.
I'm sleeping in to 11.
No, I show up at 11.
You know, I don't sleep in, bro.
I got 10 hours of sleep last night,
and I went to sleep at 9.15, bro.
Oh, God.
So, jokes on you, man.
Well, you know what?
Before you leave, this is episode 200.
That's why this bullshit is here.
Can't believe for episode 800 already.
Yeah.
Two hundred, boys.
Seems like just yesterday.
Yeah.
Seems like just yesterday.
Yeah.
Seems like just yesterday
I was thinking about today
That was good timing
They finally lined up
So it says too funny
Oh look at that dude
Bro, we've got in 200
And it's only once a week
It's 200 weeks
Is that how you did that math
How many years Nick?
Four
25 I think
Wow
That's something
Okay well we did it
We did it boys
Love you guys miss you
Yeah talk soon man
See you dude
Yes sir
See it
Later, Nicholas.
See ya.
See ya, bro.
Dude, yeah, I did.
I got 10 hours of sleep last night.
Nine hours and 30 minutes.
So I fell asleep with Calvin.
But how were you feeling?
Oh, like a zombie.
Oh, that's what it's.
But I did a, I was in bed with Calvin.
Well, actually, you know, so I was in bed with Calvin.
I fell asleep, woke up quick.
And then I was like, I'm going to go downstairs watch TV.
I went to take a little to watch TV.
And I started this movie.
And I go, I'm not lasting.
You know?
Let me just go upstairs.
So don't you just know.
Yeah, let me just go upstairs.
15 minutes in the movie, I go,
ah, no, no, no, no.
Even Denzel can't wait me up.
So I go to do my, what do you call, my peptides, you know?
Era, A-I-R-A, newera.com, dot co, CO, C-O.
This is peptides for you.
Because that's where I inject it like that.
Okay.
All right.
Era, new-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-O is where I go.
And you can use the code Chris 50.
to get some money off.
But anyway, I did it, went to bed, and fell asleep immediately, bro.
Took a tracidone, a full one.
Look at this.
New era of peptide therapy for all this.
Man, there's so much stuff.
Oh, wow.
Here.
Go to muscle growth.
Let's see what else they got.
I'm trying to get real jacked.
Oh, I'm Moreland, CJC-1295.
That's what I use.
And now what's this?
Hold on.
test immorland i don't use that can help with testosterone instead of TRT yeah okay okay i see yeah i use
why'd you go ooze uh c j c i'm orlin i just taking a lot of peptide info with my other show so
you know about this one yeah yeah and what's the name of the other show nick uh longevity university
i appreciate that oh nice longevity university sounds like i named it fucking fake uh college in a movie
in an adam salem no it's an online college yeah yeah yeah
You know what I mean?
It's like DeVron.
Yeah.
So that's cool.
Yeah.
So I take that.
But anyway, I did that and I went right to sleep.
That's sweet.
Wolf did this last night.
So he's now mimicking us, copying whatever.
So I farted.
And he goes like to, oh, my God.
Oh, man.
That's funny.
That's great.
That's great.
He said, oh, my God.
That laughs so hard.
That's so funny.
I love shit, like I love that.
Yeah.
So that's this new thing.
And now he's like actively trying to be funny.
You know?
You know, he's just like, you know, when I laugh, he's like, oh, daddy laughed at that.
So now I'm going to.
Yeah, I know.
He's like, God, dude, I had to sleep with him last night.
Oh, my God.
It's so hard.
Well, you got to, yeah, you got to break that.
But I don't know.
I don't know how.
I mean, I don't know how.
Because it's like, and he, oh, my God.
Big ass king bed and I'm on the side.
Yeah, I know.
And he's on your shoulder.
Like, like he's the angel.
Yeah.
Yeah, he's just like, you know,
or then he'll like get his head.
He's like, no, I got to do this.
And when he wakes up, he wakes up, he looks at me.
You're like, are you my conscious?
Yeah, I'm like, oh, dude.
How did people do that?
I would love to know from our parents out there that watched the show.
I never slept in my parents' bed ever.
They did not allow me to come in.
I would come in and they'd be like,
no, come on go back to bed.
And I should be back to bed.
And I think that that was good.
But I don't know how they dealt with it.
Because I was, I was, I stayed trying to get in a bed.
I don't know.
Something comforting of, I guess.
Yeah, something comforting.
You were in the womb for fucking nine months.
And now they want you to stay in not just the same bed, but another room?
Yeah.
Man, there's a reason why wound rise with room.
There's something there.
Can you make the AI comic do that bit?
There's something there.
I wouldn't do that bit, but you know, a black comic would do that bit.
Some black comic on.
Chocolate Sundays.
I'm race-ished.
That's a good title for the thing.
Your next special?
Isn't that?
Didn't Marlon Wayans have a thing called wokeish?
Didn't he have a like a Netflix special called wokeish?
I think he was HBO.
Oh.
Yeah.
Oh, he was Netflix.
Yeah.
Oh, that was 2018.
Yeah, so it was even right when it woke thing was kind of getting off the ground.
Yeah, he's only cutting.
edge yeah yeah wow um i saw have you seen the odyssey yet no i've seen a lot of stuff though
oh i just like what have you seen just in my life no i've said recently i've seen uh um the shards
do you see that no got to watch it so good i was just wait did you start um no not yet oh my god um
i saw that we started furious that's the one i'm talking about no not yet oh my god i saw that
whisper man movie whisper man it's a new
one really new on Netflix.
And I kind of liked it.
I liked it.
I just watched The Long Walk for the first time.
Oh, that's bad, bro.
I could not,
the whole time I'm thinking,
I'm like,
man,
this must have been like terrible to film.
Yes.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Could you just like,
oh,
these motherfuckers are just walking?
My movie was bad.
Wasn't this Stephen King's first book?
Yeah,
but it was like at the end, though.
This is just like Hunger Games on a road.
You know what I mean?
What's it called?
The guy.
And they're just pooping and stuff.
It was bad.
Yeah.
This is a bad, a bad, that was a bad movie, yeah.
Mark Hamill was good, though.
He's good.
It was Luke Skywalker.
The Long Walk.
The Long Walk, I think it was his first book, no?
No.
Up there, though, early, really early.
So I wasn't totally wrong, okay?
Carrie was his first book, that's right.
Wow, look at how many books that had been made into a movie.
Yeah, he's the king of that.
Carrie, the Shining, Long Walk, Firestarter.
Dead Zone.
Cujo, the running man.
Christine Pet Cemetery.
You didn't know this, dude?
I'm just saying this is so many.
Thinner, also.
Thinner, I've never looked at it like this.
No.
Misery.
All of them.
Oh, my God.
This guy.
You know, if Stephen King
writes a book, they don't make a movie of it,
you know that book is bad.
Oh, he wrote Insomnia?
Oh, the movie with Al Pacino?
Yeah.
Is it the same, based on that?
I think.
Or it might be something else, though.
That's a common.
Yeah.
It's like a word that anybody could use.
Right.
I mean, don't be a hater, but yeah.
If you go, how many books are you?
Is it the movie with...
I don't think it is.
That's what I'm saying.
Well, they said screenplays right there.
Go back, go back down.
It says screenplay.
Yeah, but that shit could be like with fucking Jeff Fahey in the 90s, you know.
Green Mile.
Wow.
He wrote Green Mile?
Real prolific.
Wow, the dark tower.
Okay.
I read the book Green Mile before seeing the movie.
Oh, wow.
You know, I didn't like that movie when I saw it.
Everyone loved it.
I know exactly what you mean.
Yeah.
It's like just, you know, some big magic black dude in jail.
Right.
Just like take away your dick cancer.
That was weird.
Heangaliers.
Oh, no, I know.
Yeah, I don't know.
Hey, how do you write a book nowadays?
Do you, you don't have to get it published, right?
I mean, you can just kind of like put it out, can't you?
Yeah, yeah, I guess you could.
I mean, I just think about that the other day because like, if you write a book, if I wrote a book, or if you wrote a book, you got fans.
You know, you could put it out if fucking Schumeister and Ahamish or whatever the fuck they're called, you know, doesn't want to buy it.
Just go, all right, my book's out.
Right.
And you can make money off it by.
You do your own audio book.
Right, right, right, yeah.
It's basically just a big-ass podcast, really, if you're doing the audiobook.
I guess.
Like, you can make the congratulations book.
Right, right, right, right.
It's like, it's just a long episode of congratulations.
Yeah, but no, but you write a story rather than fucking just bullshit on your thing about, you know.
I know, but if you write,
well, oh, yeah, that too.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
If you have a story, you want to write.
Yeah, why not?
I just wonder, so what do they say?
There's just self-publishing.
There's all kinds of things.
Oh.
I mean, just like how you can put fake songs on Spotify.
Yeah, right.
That's pretty crazy, yeah.
I guess you can put, you know, books on, you know.
Uh-huh.
At this point, you just have your own website,
and you just do the thing.
I don't know.
What is all these fucking websites that are coming up?
It's where it's getting out.
Oh, it's thinking.
Is it thinking?
Yeah, I had it think too hard.
Oh, yeah, he's fucking thinking so hard.
Good.
I don't know.
We don't really care that much.
I've been getting charged up my ass from Claude
because I keep using Fable.
Oh, yeah, you can't.
And I have like a hundred charges of $10.
Not a hundred, but.
What?
Fable costs extra or something?
Yeah.
But then I don't trust the other one.
So it's like not as good, the answer.
Really?
What?
you're so right like like chat gpt is trash yeah you want kind of you want the answer you want
kind of the answer yeah this one yeah yeah yeah yeah because i got the kind of answer right here locked
and loaded yeah that's another one yeah don't use fable you should just use opus for some things
retailer direct i said free to upload print demand uh inventory yeah just like making t-shirts
this is crazy the amazon thing's crazy yeah wide distribution what is that ingram spark
drafted digital is the only way to route to actual bookstores okay
and library system.
Direct to reader,
the fastest growing model
and the one that actually pays.
Written word media,
30% over.
Crowdfunding.
All right, yeah.
What was that?
What's crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding, man.
No, I know what it is,
but like,
but you would do the same thing.
Like, hey,
help me produce my book or whatever.
Oh.
Oh, the Martian was self-published.
Books that did,
oh, yeah, huh.
Wow.
So how did he do it?
Hold on.
Andy Weir serialized free on his site.
Oh, wow.
And now he's,
Now he's a multimillionaire because of that movie.
Reader asked for it to hit.
Wait, okay.
And put it on his Kindle for a buck, 99 cents.
When readers asked for it,
hit number one in Amazon sci-fi within three minds.
Huh.
All right.
So, so serialized free.
What does that mean?
Imagine, though, the idiot editor person that turned this guy down.
I mean, whatever.
It's all, it's going to happen, you know.
But, yeah.
Milk and Honey, I've heard of that.
Oh, yeah, that's the...
All right, okay.
So, so look at this one.
The Shack, William P. Young, over 20 million copies
after self-publishing in 2007 followed repeat, repeated...
I don't know.
I'm going to write a book now.
But what I'm saying is like, how does it get like...
Hugh Howie, here's another word, wool.
$1 short story in 2011, expand on demand.
500,000 copies by two.
Ooh, this new season of silo got good, by the way.
So, hold on, though.
Before we get into that.
So Hugh Howie, 99-cent short story.
in 2011 expanded on reader demand
a half a million copies by 2000 so I wonder if
he then signed a print only with somebody in Schuster and kept his digital rights
which was unprecedented at the time okay over three million copies
an estimator $10 million plus Apple TV made it
oh that silo yeah wow yeah wow yeah I feel like if you
wow wow wow because
Louis had a book, right?
What's that book that came out recently? Ingram or something?
Yeah, Ingram.
Right. That did well. I feel like...
Well, if you're someone like that and you already have fans.
Of course. Of course, him. Yes. Yes.
But he was one of the first people to like sell his special online.
Right. Like he was all, he was on top of this from Jump.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
It's all about new IP.
Right.
In like 2016, it was all podcasts that we're starting.
that were like being created for IP.
Like that one guy you got an argument with online.
Who's that?
Like lore or something.
He was like a, oh yeah.
What was that stupid shit?
I don't know.
You guys got an argument.
I forgot about that.
Did I talk about that in congratulations or something?
I don't know, maybe.
Talk about everything.
Was that secretly Nick?
What do you not talk about on congratulations?
Is that secretly Nick?
do you say on congratulations do you ever go you're not talking about this on the golden hour but
well uh well no and the reason is because i i i i do congratulations first in the week
so i talk about it and then i go to golden hour the next day so it's like not like new shit
happens got it well like there are things like tupac's uh guy got guilty oh yeah that i haven't talked
about yeah yeah yeah i sent that i know
That's so strange.
Like, has this guy, so this guy's just been like for 30 years.
He's just been doing his thing.
And then now he finally got like, how did they catch him?
Like, I don't understand.
He apparently admitted to it in a documentary and a book.
What?
But now he's saying they were just stories and he was trying to like build lore as a gangster.
But yeah, whoopsie, Daisy.
Whoopsie, whoopsie.
Yeah, you weren't being interrogated for fucking 25 hours.
And we're like, all right, I did it.
Let me out.
You know, then it's like, okay, false confession.
but dude the dude was just on a documentary like kill Tupac yeah yeah that's crazy
god really yeah so he now faces the possibility of life in prison what are they gonna do
we found Tupont's killer before Gt86 what are they gonna do after GTA 6 comes out they this
is the comment you see yeah under every news thing what are they gonna do they're not gonna
have the new new one did you see the the GTA 6 stuff it's amazing it looks amazing
I know, but it's like, it's probably so amazing that they're also seeing so many flaws because it's so amazing.
I mean, look at this shit.
You know what I mean?
I don't know.
They have exclusive Netflix stuff too, and it's like, uh, like, yeah, this looks incredible.
But they have to make sure every single door, every single window, every single thing in this game.
Pretty weird.
That's where we shoot our podcast right there, by the way.
Yeah.
Right there.
They drove by it.
Oh, that little tree.
and uh
look at this
and have you seen the strip club footage
I think it's like the booties look real
like you know this is gonna be
yeah well you know I love cartoon porn
so I was wondering who fucking clicks
on the family guy porn
or the Simpsons porn
this looks funny
like oh oh god
what the fuck oh by the way
I must have clicked on something
my algorithm is people getting shot
and fucking stab now
oh that sucks
there was a New York lady that
I saw that yeah
Yeah, I didn't watch it, but...
So weird.
So weird.
They just fucking...
I just like algorithms, man.
I just...
I don't like them.
Did you see the...
It was like a governor or something?
The guy trying to run for governor?
Oh, is this it?
This is like all the different side games you can play.
Wow.
Oh, wow.
Jesus Christ.
Look at that.
What if it just showed a picture, like, video of you doing stand up?
You're like, wait, that's me.
Oh, man.
Jump was kind of janky to be on.
honest. It's getting ahead? Oh,
virtual, that's funny. Are we all getting this?
We should stream this. We should
all be in a gang.
All right.
Well, he kind of looks. Oh, you, what do you guys
have? What, I have PS.
Is it cross platform? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oh, nice. Yeah, yeah. It is? Yes, it definitely
is. Wow. Look at that car.
Well, this is, this is almost a, I could play someone
who, yeah. This is almost like the first. That's where we get coffee.
The first one is almost all, already a 50.
year game.
You know what I mean?
This is crazy.
It's pretty crazy, bro.
I mean, look at the lighting.
Well, I mean, they've incorporated the AI
and they've like, you know, this is going to be like
just an incredible, I mean, the future of this
has to be virtual glasses, you know what I mean?
Is it L.A.?
Where is it?
Do you even know?
Miami.
Dude, Tim Dillon said,
in Florida, I think in general.
Tim Dillon said the funniest thing on his podcast about
the Lindsey Clancy.
Or what?
He was saying that the women that are
coming there in pink shirts.
He said it was like, it's like if you went to the OJ trial with your girlfriend and she has a
black eye, dude, I was like, no, because these women are showing up to the trial with their
kids, you know, they're outside with their kids.
Oh my God, dude.
This is so funny.
Applauding and they're all just happy to be there.
Let's, uh, let's hear, take it away.
Hundreds of women all dressed in pink cheered the accused mom as she arrives in a police.
caravan for her murder trial.
Yes.
Supporters ran across the field to greet Lindsay.
Thank God.
Came with their babies.
Yes.
They held up...
Stop it because I just want to highlight how beautiful this is.
These women show up to support her with their children.
That's pretty beautiful.
It's like going to support O.J.
And taking your girlfriend with a black eyes.
And I'm going to be honest, everyone keeps talking about the three dead friends.
And to me, it's a little bit of a downer.
There's something really nice about a bunch of women's...
saying just because you killed your children, you're still a mother.
Let's watch a little bit more of this.
Hey, guys.
What do you think of the support for Lindsay Clancy?
I have no words.
Yeah.
It's amazing.
We find our heroes in unlikely places to throw off the shackles of domestication
in the way that she did and kind of challenge the patriarchy, the symbolism,
kind of a feminist hero.
His contempt is just outstanding.
Incredible.
Yeah.
No, he's funny.
It is crazy.
All those women think she didn't do it or that it's not her fault that she did it?
Right, right.
No, no, no.
They cannot deny that they're not saying she didn't do it.
They're just trying to say like, you know, there's no accountability.
Like there's zero accountability for women.
Yeah.
Really?
Zero accountability.
They're just like...
Sometimes I can't believe it.
Yeah.
I can't.
Well, this is one of those times.
Yeah, this is like when I...
I'm trying to understand...
I'm trying to have empathy.
They say, yeah, the husband's fault.
Yeah, okay.
Put him in jail too.
I don't give a fuck.
The parents of these kids, this happened?
I don't care.
Put her in jail.
Put him in jail.
Put the cousins in jail.
Yeah. Yeah.
What were you doing?
Yeah.
You were around that house?
Yeah, yeah.
If I was around that house, I saw some shit go down and be like,
Guys.
Yeah, this is crazy.
I just don't get,
part of me is like
if there was no internet
would these people
this kind of thing
would still be on the news.
Be doing that.
I just added the stand
in New York, guys.
I'll be there on the first
because on the second
the New York Film Festival
Behemoth premiere.
Oh, cool.
So I'm going to that
and so I said,
let me just get a show in New York.
So I'll be at the stand
my own night,
9 p.m. show in New York.
Cool.
All right.
And then I got all these other things.
I got Phoenix and Tempe and Springfield and Missouri and go to Chrissly.com.
La Jolla this weekend.
Yeah, so come to La Jolla.
I'm in La Jolla right now as you're listening to this or watching, whatever.
So come to La Jolla.
Yeah, buddy.
Let's go.
