Meanwhile, Boris brings extensive experience in developer tools, having served as a founding engineer at dev tool startup Tenderly. He also created a VS Code extension that achieved over 250,000 installs. Initially, they started working on an HR tech idea called Sprout, until they found a problem that they wanted to solve for themselves. The duo was spending half their time in the front end dealing with UI components and making things look pixel-perfect, so they tried to build internal solutions to speed up their own development. We just wanted to see if we could build Sprout faster, but once we saw what this AI could do

and shared it with our friends, we knew that it had a lot of potential. And with our strong backgrounds in product management and developer tools, we knew that we had the expertise to build and scale this if we wanted to, said Yegemberden. This experimentation ended up resulting in a pivot from the OurTech idea to Superflex. Strong market traction initially unveiled at the GitHub headquarters in San Francisco, Superflex quickly gained attention, securing three letters of intent from companies eager to integrate the tool into their development workflows. This early traction highlights the strong market demand and willingness to adopt AI code generation tools. Expanding developer experiences looking to the future, Superflex aims to extend its AI features

beyond front-end development. Plans include enabling developers to chat with their codebases and expanding support to back-end development, ultimately creating a fully AI-driven development environment.
