Starting point is 00:00:00 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the group chat podcast episode. Great, girl, everybody. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the group chat podcast episode number 173. 173. Yeah, we just recorded like 20 minutes of this. No, I think it was like 10. It was 10 minutes. It was definitely just 10 minutes.
Starting point is 00:00:18 Thank fucking God, dude. Yeah, we were set to the record a podcast on the road. So the things that we got, we had for it were set up for that, and I had to reverse I forgot a few things that, yeah. Yeah, we realized on the road trip that there's no room to do it, bro. There's no room. There's no room. But, you know what there is room for,
Starting point is 00:00:39 saving money using code group for 10% off with your gamer subs order. Wow. And that's on God. Facts. That is on God. That is on God. I probably remember exactly what I said.
Starting point is 00:00:49 Yeah, let's try and redo it as we can. Grunk, you know, before we get into the, grunk, before the group spoils the awesome secret about us driving across the country, we want to hear about you. Have you been doing? I start school tomorrow. Hey, you're taking my role.
Starting point is 00:01:05 Oh, sorry. Yeah, so classes start again tomorrow. Oh, dude. My final year of college, which is crazy. And I started working at Wegmans again today. Can I ask you a question? What is it? Wait, wait, hold it.
Starting point is 00:01:26 Do you have Josh Allen cereal? Wait, grunk, why do you still work at Wegman's? Yes, we have, I don't know if we have Josh Allen's cereal. Oh, V-Chash, sending me that text. Do you have Josh Alios? And, um, what did you say? You keep going back to Wegman? Why do you work at Wegmans?
Starting point is 00:01:51 Yeah, do you like it? Mainly because my dad, I mean, I'm pretty much indifferent. Okay, we have to, okay, listen, listeners at home. Sorry, we're just, we're remembering everything. We're trying to say it verbatim how we did it. This is, if you guys remember, I was actually looking, you remember our, like, funniest podcast ever, like, four years ago? Been downhill over since.
Starting point is 00:02:15 Yeah, I remember that to this day. Yeah, where we couldn't stop laughing. Yeah, and it was the same situation. We had to re-record that podcast two or three times. Yep. And it's just, oh, yeah. Okay, I do it. We have clips of that, the reruns.
Starting point is 00:02:31 Yeah. That's really good. I don't remember how the fuck, what we said or what. Dude, that was like prime podcast. You just fucking laugh at everything. Like, we don't even talk about anything.
Starting point is 00:02:42 It's so funny. I think it's so good. But, uh, okay, so you say your dad makes you work at Wegmans. Yeah, he said, yeah, I think so. He's like, just don't leave your job or something. Yeah. That's fair.
Starting point is 00:02:54 And it's really, um, this, this final year of college is going to be a very, uh, very, uh, Turning point. Yeah. Yeah, dude. That's sick. You should take the bar example. Yeah, I will.
Starting point is 00:03:06 Yeah. Okay, so I'm getting stared at by Isaac Luchador number one over here to my right. He comes from Mexico. He doesn't speak until we talk about Mexico. Yeah. And I was showing his gooch through his shorts, I guess. Oh, there's a hole in his shorts. Dude.
Starting point is 00:03:24 So, Larry was talking about the. the podcast and how he had recording settings wrong and stuff like that. Yeah. So we had to redo the podcast because the settings were wrong, but long story short, and actually it's going to be a long story. Probably the entire cast. The whole story. I love that saying long story short because it's never. Never, never. Yeah, so long story short, day one. Yeah, no. So we went and did a road trip around the United States of Texas because Tanner saw a funny picture. Yeah, saw it sweet. Texas looks really dumb and we just wanted to drive around it for the hell of it for the hal of it yeah yeah you saw a
Starting point is 00:04:03 tweet you posted it and uh i guess for some fucking reason we locked in on that and we did it and to be quite honest with you i it's kind of surreal you know what philip said he said that was the best idea anybody's ever ever yeah ever wow he says i'm an idea machine but he's it is a good idea it is a good idea okay this is not me saying it's not but my My God, does he have a way of, like... We'll talk about it. Yeah, we'll talk about it. So, exaggerating.
Starting point is 00:04:33 First day, we'll just, we'll address the fact that all of us didn't sleep. I mean, Isaac got a few hours of sleep. Isaac was the designated driver for us in the morning. Yes. So I didn't even get any sleep until we got in the car. We left at 4 o'clock in morning, or was it like a little after. Yeah, it was a, it was that. No, we actually left at 5.
Starting point is 00:04:51 Oh, we did leave at 5. Yeah, because it took a while to pack up. Yeah, that's true. So we did live it last 5. I remember the exact time. 5-02. Wow. Dude,
Starting point is 00:04:58 my memory is on point. Because then you fell asleep. No, I fell asleep an hour and a half into it. No, because he saw a photo. Yep. Oh,
Starting point is 00:05:06 I'm getting a doo. How come I ever seen this photo? I don't know. He's the one that sent it. Yeah, he did send it. Isaac sent it. Yeah. We were all sleeping.
Starting point is 00:05:18 It was on the road. It was on the first drive. This was like the first leg of the drive. And to be honest, this didn't even count because we're in Austin. We had to drive all the way to Port Arthur. which is like the poopiest, shittiest beach I've ever been to. And that says something because New Jersey's got some pretty bad beaches.
Starting point is 00:05:33 I didn't expect it to be that. There was like Cheetos bags from the 1980s laying on the beach. There were vintage Cheeto bags. Vintage. Vintage. Yeah. And there was like poo water because we're by the bayou. We're in a swamp.
Starting point is 00:05:47 So we're out. We're by Louisiana. Yeah. What was that by Louisiana? And it was swampy and it was muddy. And the sand was like hard and real like. There was a chair. There was a chair.
Starting point is 00:05:58 I got a picture of Isaac. He's sitting in. It was like falling apart, but it was like looking out into the water. Oh, I took a pick of him. Yeah, that was fire.
Starting point is 00:06:05 Which, by the way, the Gulf of America, what the fuck? Like, I actually didn't know that that was like a real like change. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:11 It actually went through. Yeah. That actually happened. Did you know that ground? Oh, that's true. Yeah. The Gulf of America. So we're looking at the Gulf of America.
Starting point is 00:06:18 We're looking at the Gulf. But that was the first shitty stop. That was terrible. That was like, I slept for five hours, woke up. was met with the crappiest place I want to say real quick
Starting point is 00:06:30 the first half is crappy the second half does get better it got so good it got so good dude it was 60% shit no uh oh yeah 60% shit the last two days are the good ones yeah yeah when we
Starting point is 00:06:42 is that math even right I don't even know what that math right I liked every single bit of me actually no yeah I liked it too you probably have a worse experience because we have to camp you don't like camping okay yeah so we'll get to it
Starting point is 00:06:54 I guess so we started to Port Arthur we had to All the way up to Texarkana. Texarkana, that's top right-ish. Top-right right. Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana. Yes. Yep.
Starting point is 00:07:04 Bingo. I actually didn't mind Texarkana. It's all right. It's got like trees and such. I look he really need to throw in my laundry because we have a schedule here and I just remembered and this is it. This is the only time I have. Go, man. We'll just keep talking.
Starting point is 00:07:16 It's going to be packed. You're good. Don't worry. I'll be right. Run, kid! Yeah, this is like the really crappy boring part before we talk. Before we talk about getting to Mexico. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:25 Before we get that. You often. in, by the way, Isaac. You could talk at any point in time. Yeah, I don't even know what, like, made you decide to do this day. He's asleep right now, I feel like. He might be. Yeah, so after Isaac Y drove for 15 hours, dude, this is actually the craziest thing,
Starting point is 00:07:39 okay? And I know this is about to get clipped because I can already read the short now about soft willy talks about data centers. Bro. Oh, God. So the first day that we get, we were driving from Port Arthur to
Starting point is 00:07:54 Texarkana, and then we had to drive to Childress. which is West. It's like right where the top hat starts on the right side of Texas. Yep. So we are opting in to go
Starting point is 00:08:05 and get like a hotel or anything. We're calling around every single fucking place doesn't, they're all, there's zero vacants, or zero, we've called,
Starting point is 00:08:15 we called 10 hotels at least. More than that. More than that. More than that. And we stopped in two other ones. In surrounding towns. In surrounding towns. We had a whole list of hotels
Starting point is 00:08:24 that we got recommended and we called every single one. All, were booked out. They were all booked out. We went to a few in person and yeah, just completely like parking lots were fucking filled. Zero, zero rooms. They were all booked out. And it's because there are new data centers being built. And all of the construction workers, the contract workers are all in those fucking hotels. Yeah. They employed 4,000 per thousand people per data center in those small-ass towns that have not a lot of capacity. dude, devil, small. We're talking small.
Starting point is 00:08:58 Like, god damn. Like, damn small. And so we had to find out, like, there was a town neighboring that was closer up north called Shamrock, which is very, like, you know, Irish, I guess. I don't know, dude. They had a lot of leprechaun, you know, sort of. Those Irish, like, in. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It was called the Irish Inn.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Yeah. And so they had a lot of, like, you know, four-le-floor stuff. They had a lot of, just a lot of that vibe, right? and we had to stay there, and that's where the guy told us about, like, the 4,000 employee shit, and we had to find, well, the place that we found only had two more rooms, which is what we needed. Right. What do you doing over there? Dude, he just wants us to say we went to Mexico.
Starting point is 00:09:37 We went to Mexico. We went to Mexico. Yeah, that was like halfway towards the trip. Okay, anyway, I'm sorry, just Isaac staring at me right now for the listeners. But, yeah, we went and called so many different hotels. None of them had any sort of openings at all. Yep. And that was like a real time like, yeah, sure, like data centers are killing the environment for sure.
Starting point is 00:09:59 But bro, you literally could not for probably 50 miles find anywhere to go and sleep. Yeah. Yeah. All the hotels were booked. And we were pissed because at this point it was either you sleep in the fucking van or we go camp early, one day early. I thought we were going to have to sleep in the van. Yeah, me too. I was already going back to bed.
Starting point is 00:10:18 Yeah. Yeah. And so we ended up getting lucky. we found two rooms available in children's i'm pretty sure right yeah or was it before children's no we think it was after it was it was i think we had to leave after we had to go through children we had to go through children yeah yeah and so and that was on our way to fall it which is at the very top right of texas so uh we ended up staying the night there and keep in mind for me personally bro, the food situation on this road trip.
Starting point is 00:10:51 I mean, you stuck through it though, you stuck through it. I'm talking about you guys. Oh, what? Okay. So obviously, I'm doing my great lock-in. I've been vlogging my entire journey of losing weight and all that shit. And so we are at this point, we finally found a hotel, grunk to catch you up. We finally found a hotel because all the other hotels were booked due to AI data centers.
Starting point is 00:11:16 All the fucking contractors sleeping at them. Yeah, 4,000 workers per day. They're taking our beds, bro. We literally couldn't find a single spot. They're building them. They're building data centers, and so to sleep, because they have to go to bed, they stayed at those places. Yeah, they don't. Yeah, true.
Starting point is 00:11:33 Yeah. Well, so, yeah, Claude was in one room, and then GPT was another, and GROC was in. Deep Seek. Where was Deep Seek? Deep Seek was somewhere in the ocean. Deep Seek was working. Gemini was in the Super 8. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:46 Exactly. Dude, we passed a Super 8 and I was like, can we just stay at the Super 8? Nobody wanted to stay at the Super 8. And nobody wanted subway. Like, what's going on? Okay, subway. There was a time where I was driving and when I was driving, I tried pulling into like one of the places to go get a hotel. I pulled into the wrong, remember I pulled to the wrong parking lot and that I drove over the curb.
Starting point is 00:12:09 Oh, yeah. You were ready to go to sleep. Yeah. Yeah. And everyone got mad at me for that. But so, yeah, we ended up sleeping through the night, but grunk, you need to hear this food situation because this food situation is crazy. Drunk would have loved it. It only in.
Starting point is 00:12:23 So I, like, meal prepped my food, right? I had, I'm on a very, for what I want to do, I want to do on a very strict meal diet thing. So it's like, I wake up, I'll have like a bagel, I'll have two eggs, I'll have turkey bacon. All of this is in my own cooler that I brought. I have, like, yogurts, I have protein granola packed, I've got bananas. Was it fun meal prepping? Yeah, it was really fun. And the food is really good, too.
Starting point is 00:12:48 And even for dinner, I had, like, chicken and, like, cucumbers, all this stuff. So I had food prepped. So after I'm done eating, I'm, like, ready to fucking go to sleep. I go to bed. They stay up. And, honestly, the food that I'm hearing, I don't even get to witness it one time on this trip because I keep going to bed early. Larry, take it away. What fucking – no, Tanner, you take it away because you were the one who introduced the idea.
Starting point is 00:13:14 You know what? You guys act like you ain't never seen a chili dog in a hotel before. I think I had five chili dogs. It's peak here. Everywhere else, you guys, every meal after is downhill. It got worse. It got worse. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:29 So, like, compared to the other meals we had, chili dogs were a five-star, like, wagyu meal for me. It was like, we made our own chili. We had hot dog. We had ketchup and mustard. We had fucking everything. And there was, like, hot Cheetos. We were just feasting on all these, like, bad food. And then we made, we also had like soup.
Starting point is 00:13:47 It was crazy. But yeah, we brought a Coleman grill into one of, into this like hotel in the entire room just reeked of boiled hot dogs and chili. Why did you do that? Because I was in a closed room. Because outside was hot. Yeah, it was really hot outside. Bro, you guys are actually probably. Well, Greg, just wait for how the start of the next day goes.
Starting point is 00:14:08 So, oh, bro, you're egging me on like you're farming my retention. Yeah, you also. From what I've heard, you guys were all in each corner of the room eating... Oh, yeah. There's one person that helps us record that does not like hot dogs. And Isaac was in one corner. I was in the other corner and Flip was in the other corner. And we were all just eating hot dogs and chili dogs.
Starting point is 00:14:30 And it just freaked up the whole room. Dude, this was after, like, Tanner leaves my hotel room. Like, we're all sleeping in one. And then the production's sleeping in another. Tanner leaves on I Show Speed fucking TV. Yeah, I thought it would help you go to sleep better. He just leaves it on, and I Show Speed just like touring some country or whatever. And then Tanner goes into the other room.
Starting point is 00:14:50 He's playing Family Guy and I Show Speed and another TV or whatever. What were you playing? Oh, I throw on the Stokes Twins. I don't know if anybody knows who that is. Who even is that? They have 144 million subscribers, but I've never heard of them. Yeah. Damn!
Starting point is 00:15:05 They're crazy. The bar is so low for YouTube now. No, it's too high. Well, it's like, it's so. I'm saying, like, the ceiling of like, you know, I'm saying, like, what it was big, like 20 million, 30 million subscribers was huge, right? But now it's like, 144 million. You don't even know who that person is. No.
Starting point is 00:15:24 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I found that out with, like, Spanish YouTubers. Oh, my God. Oh, like, dude, that's crazy. Or, like, streamers, Spanish. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:32 God, he has a whole different world. It's fucking massive. So, uh, next day, we all pack up. I get a sick workout in. And then we're driving. And the car starts immediately smelling like, But like butane We rush out of the hotel
Starting point is 00:15:45 And we're packing everything in and shit Yeah Oh my god yeah Something fell A seven I think like a 50 pound water jug Fell on like the butane And it just went
Starting point is 00:15:56 What The whole entire car And the car to gas us out We had to like get out the van And park on the side And we're like what the fuck The gas went everywhere The beer
Starting point is 00:16:07 Yeah the beauty It started shooting out But at first I was like I don't know know. Maybe it's just how it smells. I wanted us to keep driving. Okay, low-key, I thought it was like the area we were passing because it was like, there's a lot of trucks. And, uh, but no, but once he was, I heard, once he heard of the hissing, I was like, oh, okay, it's in the bag. It's in the bag. It's in the bag. It's over there.
Starting point is 00:16:26 Yep. And then my protein drink exploded on me. And I was like, oh, hell no, it's going to be a bad day. But we kept trucking on. So I think we go through like, we go through Fallett. We go to Texline at the far top left. And then we drive all the way down to Kermit, Texas. Yeah. After Kermit, Texas. You know, I'm kind of like vaguing about all those towns because, you know, it's just easier. I don't want to spoil the video. Dude, that upper hat was, yeah, it was just so. Nothing burger, bro.
Starting point is 00:16:50 Bison maybe once in a while. It was like we were in a time slip. It looked so old. All the buildings were from like abandoned Redemption area. Yeah, yeah, dude. And it's so like barren in between each. It was near no man's land, remember? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:03 Oh, yeah, yeah. Oklahoma. Yeah, dude. Like buildings just like that old and dilapidated, but there's data centers everywhere. Yeah. Well, I mean, on one hand, and I'm not proud to, like, really think of it through this light, but at the same time, it kind of makes sense. Like, by those data centers being built, it is bringing a lot of business to those smaller towns that don't get a lot of people, maybe. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:24 But either way, it still sucks. It's still shitty, you know, like. But no, you're right. It is bringing someone to. I mean, those hotels are probably, they haven't seen that kind of fucking income. And then they're going to have no fucking drinking water or cold water. And then they're totally extinct. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:38 But, yeah, we went to Kermit. and then from Kermit, dude, first fucking night of camping at the Guadalupe mountains. Y'R.
Starting point is 00:17:45 Why do you fuckers? Isaac, please, I need you to talk. Why do you fuckers like camping? See, I'll talk. I'll lute to the word.
Starting point is 00:17:56 I'll say, camping in Texas is probably the worst thing you can ever do because of all the bugs and how hot it is. Nobody should actually... Is that anywhere?
Starting point is 00:18:03 No. No. No. No. I'm sorry, Larry. But in Washington, when you camp, there are zero bugs,
Starting point is 00:18:08 and it's 60 degrees and it's nice and is beautiful and it's greenery and forest and rainforest. What about Virginia grunk? Virginia is camping Virginia fire? It's probably the same vibe in summertime, but our fall. Yeah. We're planning to go camping in the fall.
Starting point is 00:18:23 Dang. Nice. I'm excited for that. Well, I will say this now. Camping fucking sucks. Like, I think it can be super cool. I've only ever camped in Texas, and every, like, experience was just awful. And I hate to sound like a bitchy, whiny, complaining bitch.
Starting point is 00:18:37 But, like, bro, you go camping. You set up a tent. You're hot as shit. You're tired. You want to go take a crap and you really, really fucking can't. Or you can,
Starting point is 00:18:46 but like, the bathrooms are, Guadalupe Mountains are like pretty whatever. Yeah. But you go to bed in the middle of the night, all the wind is fucking hitting our tent
Starting point is 00:18:55 and it keeps on collapsing on me. Dude, you look like you were suffocating once on because it collapsed. It was pretty funny. It was on my face. It was completely covering my face. Larry kept getting dick slapped
Starting point is 00:19:04 by one of the fucking pieces of the tent. He was a little floppy part that just, yeah, we're sleeping and like stagnant. air, you're sleeping on rocks that hurt your back. It's because you're camping during the wrong time of year. It's summer, Texas, yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:17 Well, it only gets worse from here, Grunk. It really only gets worse from there. But at some point it won't be getting worse. Well, either we were not equipped enough with the right stuff or camping just sucks. I feel like it's the equipped. It's definitely equipped. I mean, we're all trying to fit in like one. It's a big tent, but it's one big tent, you know, like.
Starting point is 00:19:37 I don't think four people should sleep in a tent when it's nice. degrees outside. Yeah, dude. Thank you about that. I was next to all your feet, dude. Really kept making biscuits on my belly with his feet. I don't even know what the hell was going on. Larry's feet were right next to my face.
Starting point is 00:19:52 Isaac's feet were inside of me. It was fucking feet everywhere. On the second night of camping, bro. Oh my God, I just can't wait to get to the part where you slipped on my backpack. We can't talk about it yet. We can't talk about it yet. No.
Starting point is 00:20:09 But, yeah. That was just such a dog shit time camping. And then we wake up, we pack the fuck up, and we get out of there. We drive to El Paso. We see Siouxed at Juarez. And they said that backwards? No, I think it's Ciudad Horas, right? Wait, no, we went to El Paso first.
Starting point is 00:20:26 Oh. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So we went to El Paso and we had some pretty mid-Mexican food. It was still like Tex-Mex because we're in Texas. I was like, eh. I like, the soup was good. The soup was fired. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:20:38 Yeah. It was good. And then from there, I just kept talking about upping my thigh. Yeah. And then... You kept one to let it chirp. Yeah. Well, I let it bark.
Starting point is 00:20:49 By the third day, we started riding up against the border wall, which meant a lot of border patrol and just all of that. We didn't hit a single checkpoint, though, leaving El Paso to Big Bend. No. So we went to the national park. Grunk. This national park, just to fucking enter it, was like 30 miles, bro. Grunk, you would have loved. Loved big.
Starting point is 00:21:11 It was fire. It was beautiful. Is that where the Vermillion cliffs are? I don't know. I don't know. I really wanted to go there. I think that's Ireland. It's also, dude, it's like the darkest skies.
Starting point is 00:21:26 It's the darkest sky in America. So, like, I was looking at Milky Way galaxies, meteorites just, oh, my God. Yeah, they were just going left and right. It was like a highway up there, dude. Like, I wanted to cry. It was beautiful. Big Bend was awesome. except for it was really fucking hot
Starting point is 00:21:42 there was no service a lot of fucking bugs there wasn't that's actually really bad because there was no service and I was actually itching to look at Instagram reels like I was like oh my God I really just want to look here
Starting point is 00:21:56 here dude we were able to shower there though and there was internet at the place where you able to buy stuff they had like a little cute store and stuff yeah and so yeah the shower wasn't that bad
Starting point is 00:22:07 yeah Tanner looked at my butt cheeks and so at Isaac I opened the door when you were showering. I was just curious. Yeah. I mean, dude, it was $2 for five minutes. I don't know if it's like... That was the best shower ever had, but it didn't even matter.
Starting point is 00:22:18 It didn't matter. It literally didn't matter because the minute you shower, you go back outside and it's humid as fuck. I started sweating instantly. Yeah. We went to the tents. We sit down. We hear a bunch of like fucking donkeys and shit. Isaac loves the donkeys, by the way.
Starting point is 00:22:34 Isaac loved the donkeys, right? He was harassing one of them, bro. Straight up. He wanted to fight it. Dude, but no, he loved... The donkeys loved you. Yeah, the ones with the bells and stuff. Yeah, the d'n-de-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-d-tann.
Starting point is 00:22:44 Tanner has a stupid-ass joke where he was like pretending like there was a gun in his pillow. And he was like, he was fluffing up the pillow and like he shot himself. And it's a nightmare scenario where you hear, you look over, Tanner's dead, you hear, all the donkeys around towards the gun show. It's like the most like, oh shit, there's so much going on. And it's really hot. It's really hot. It's dark.
Starting point is 00:23:11 It's like super dark. It's the darkest place on Earth. It was a beautiful skies. Even like going back a little bit when it was still light out. You could see, Grunk, we climbed it to this one little top of a mountain. We walked through like this little path. We were able to find. So at nighttime, the border's right there.
Starting point is 00:23:26 The Rio Grande is the river that kind of separates. It's like running across the border of Mexico and Texas. And there are people like, I guess just, oh no, it was like funding children. schools and stuff like that, I think it was. Its purpose was, so someone from Mexico would come over, like, at nighttime, and they would make, like, little, like, trinkets and stuff like that. Scorpion spiders, bonset tree, just out of metal. Yeah. Like, wire metal and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:23:54 I wish I had it. I actually don't know where it's at. Probably downstairs. Yeah, there's one downstairs. Yeah. And we were able to buy some, and you just, like, put the money inside, like, the little metal thing. It's a lockbox. They had a lockbox with a little slit, so you could put a dollar or just money in it, and then you get it.
Starting point is 00:24:08 and it's cool. It's really nice. It was so sick, though, because it looked like a legend of Zelda shop. Yeah. You just walk up and you get to choose what you want and then you just go on your way. It was like an honor system type of thing.
Starting point is 00:24:22 And so, yeah, we went to the very top and you're able to see just Mexico and, like, I guess Texas, right there just separated by the water. It's beautiful. That's where Isaac saw the donkey and walked up to it and tried fighting it and stuff. Well, not fight it.
Starting point is 00:24:37 I mean, the donkey was pretty chill, actually. but we thought that it was going to kick Isaac's ass. Dude, yeah, they're just staring at each other, and, like, it was just, like, a donkey and Isaac, like, stare down. It was like a show off. Two jackasses. Two jackasses. Jackass.
Starting point is 00:24:51 Anyway, we need to really talk about that night's sleep, because although it was beautiful to see the fucking stars. I got to tell about my adventure I had. Go ahead. This was the night where I actually did not like camping for the first time ever. Because that's when I had all the first time ever. feet on me and it was 90 like 92 degrees still and everybody was asleep I don't know how everybody was asleep like were you guys actually sleeping I kept waking I fell asleep yeah of course you
Starting point is 00:25:20 yeah that's that's because his room where he used to live was like that yeah I remember that was like one time my AC broke when you guys came over yeah it's normally and it was terrible and it was trying to fall asleep to mariachi music and humidity was just the worst yeah not the best conditions I'm sorry It was so, like, I went to bed. I went into the tent at like 2 a.m. Because like that's when I was like done watching all the meteors fall and stuff. And I was like, all right, that was fire.
Starting point is 00:25:47 And then I went to the tent. And it was so hot in there. Stagnant air. I couldn't breathe. I took my shirt off. I was like, I had to take my shirt off. And I was like doing the cat cow pose just trying to breathe.
Starting point is 00:25:59 And so I got out of the tent at like 3.40 trying to fall asleep. And I just started like sitting on the chair out there because it was like, There was wind. There was a breeze hitting me. I was like, all right, this is kind of nice. But that's when I really wanted to, like,
Starting point is 00:26:13 go into an AC building and look at reels. So the place we took a shower was, I didn't realize how far away was. It was a, it was like a mile. It was a mile and a half away, and I decided to walk into the darkest night I've ever seen in my entire life with a flashlight.
Starting point is 00:26:29 And I had my bear slippers on, too. Mm-hmm. And so, yeah, he had the whole trip. Yeah, the whole trip. He packed bear slippers. I had bear slippers. and they were not the comfiest shit ever.
Starting point is 00:26:41 And so I began my walk. I was like, all right. So I was trying to remember what Willie took the route. And I was like, all right, he went up this way, took the left. Started going down here. And then everything started looking the same. Then I started getting completely lost. And I kept hearing donkey bells.
Starting point is 00:26:55 I kept hearing like coyotes go, and I was like looking over my shoulder terrified. Because even with the flashlight, I can't see like two feet in front of me. It was that black. So I was aiming at the road so I could like walk and see it. see where I'm going. And I end up walking for 45 minutes, completely lost, not knowing how to get back or find the showers until.
Starting point is 00:27:18 Yeah, we almost lost Tanner that night. Yeah. That could have been a dude. There are stories of people, most people go missing in national parks. I could have been one of them. I could have been a statistic. How did you find your way back? I found the bathroom and I remembered because the men's light was out, but the women's was on.
Starting point is 00:27:33 So I was like, that's it. So I like sprinted to it. And like, that's it. And I started like jogging because I was actually low-key scared because I kept hearing things. You had to poop? Dude, no, I couldn't even go poop in there because there are spiders in the toilet. It was really bad. It was bad.
Starting point is 00:27:47 No, grunk, the bathroom was just as hot, if not hotter. It was hotter, yeah. It was really bad. Well, you're not trying to sleep in there. But, like, was it worth, almost getting lost? No, that was just the camp bathroom. It wasn't the shower or the AC bathroom. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:03 Yeah. That was like a toilet. That was even further down. That was a different thing. That was a different, yeah. You got to think, like, where we were, there were bathrooms, but there weren't, like, full showers and the shop and everything. To shop with all the showers and everything else. Laundry was completely, like, a mile away.
Starting point is 00:28:18 I should have said this was the bathroom. And that's what you walked to? I tried walking to it. But the bathroom I went to was the one next to our campsite, which had me find out where we were camping. That's how we got back. Yeah. So, dude, yeah, sleeping in that tent was terrible. And, like, again, I don't want to sound like a whiny, complaining bitch, but a second night in a row of terrible humidity, terrible heat.
Starting point is 00:28:36 terrible heat uncomfortable on the floor this time there was no wind I think I would have actually preferred fucking wind there at that point because we actually secured the tent down way better that night we even prepared for rain
Starting point is 00:28:49 yep we had a rain so I think that that was also what it was there was not even air passing through oh true yeah didn't say it was gonna rain it did it was a 15% chance yeah but it ended up being
Starting point is 00:29:00 the hottest most stilled air night all time it was suffocating bro and dude it's so funny because Tanner finds out later, like we're talking in the car. They're like, Nick, I haven't seen your gun once. Where is that thing?
Starting point is 00:29:17 And this is when we were going to Mexico. And I was like, oh, no, it's in here. Look, and I just take out my gun in the holster. And Tanner's like, that was in your bag that whole time? I'm like, yeah, it's been in my whole trip. He's like, I use that as a fucking pillow. Oh, my God. And then that's where Tanner makes a joke where he's like,
Starting point is 00:29:34 he's like, oh, fluffy. Oh. All the donkeys turn. Oh, my God. I could actually see the scene. Nightmare. It's like, the worst road trip ever.
Starting point is 00:29:51 It's like an hour and a half movie and the first 45 minutes are really fun. Oh, dear. What a nightmare scenario that would have been. Oh, God. Flopping the fucking group. the way that Tanner did it in the car in the front seat was so gruesome yeah it's so real like I had made like the muffled gunshot like
Starting point is 00:30:14 and I was like it was like it was graphic he did like the little joel yeah yeah yeah so we had I end up like what four o'clock five o'clock in the morning and I was I get out because I'm like dude this is terrible I have to pee I've in and out of sleep Larry's fucking hot as shit right next to me knocked out. I don't even know how Isaac was able to sleep.
Starting point is 00:30:39 And I go out there and I just hear, hey. And I'm like, what the fuck? And I see you were sitting on that chair. I was like a guard dog. I had a Pikachu nightlight and I was like, hey, I couldn't sleep at all. And I was like, dude, this is so shitty. Can we just leave?
Starting point is 00:30:53 And we convinced everyone to just get up and break down the entire fucking campgrounds. We left by like 440 to 5 a. And by the way, for anyone to sit there and be like, well, why don't you fucking sleep in the van. Sleeping in the van would have not helped. Like, we would have, it would have been just as hot.
Starting point is 00:31:10 And if we wanted to even run the AC, dude, that requires us to either run the battery or use the fuel. And we are like, like, what? We're 90 miles away. Like 90 miles away from a gas station. Yeah. And bugs would just fly in there. There's like three moths in there.
Starting point is 00:31:26 Like, it's just bad. There's too many bugs. It was so bad, dude. I genuinely, I hated that. I'm sorry. It was, it was beautiful. I love looking to the sides, but damn, I cannot sleep. That was his ass.
Starting point is 00:31:37 Yeah, yeah. So the next day, though, this is where it is all uphill. So, man. You are able to talk anytime you want. This is the easiest podcast he's ever done. He's telling me, what does this mean? I don't know. What does that mean?
Starting point is 00:31:51 I don't know. Hurry up. You want to hurry up? No. Chop it up food, avocado. The wall. The border. The border patrol?
Starting point is 00:32:00 Oh. The border patrol. So. Dude. The border. I don't know what he's saying. Rew. Rewind?
Starting point is 00:32:11 To what? To what? To what, man? What are we rewinding to? A box. The top of Mexico? I mean, America? I mean, Texas.
Starting point is 00:32:23 Texas. Okay. Well, um, dude, you got to talk. I don't know. I don't know. You got to. The wall and big bend? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:31 Oh, the big band wall. Yeah. Oh. That was also. Big Bend has some. fuck shit happening too. Yo, fuck that wall straight up. I don't care about your fucking politics, dude.
Starting point is 00:32:42 Like, that wall is so dumb and not necessary. They're actually drunk. They are going to, uh, they have bulldozers in Big Bend. Yeah, they're doing a national park. Oh, hell no. They were talking about, yeah, they were talking about putting up a wall basically right at the water on the Rio Grande. And it's like, if you think about it, so we were talking to one of the Rangers that was
Starting point is 00:33:00 there. And he said that there was a, not too long ago, there was a group of people that did try and come back, like, come through. it took them two and a half weeks to find the last person's body. Yeah. It's that, it's just that big. Because think about it. If you're going to cross the Rio Grande, right, you have
Starting point is 00:33:16 about 40, 50, 60 miles of desert to then get through. You are not getting through that. And even if you were to take the road, there's a fucking checkpoint, a border patrol checkpoint. Do you have to drive through? And so, like, you pull up to it and they inspect your car and they fucking ask you questions and shit, which really, I feel
Starting point is 00:33:36 like it should not be that easy, but I feel like they might do a lot of profiling. That's probably, yeah. I believe that that's the case because we were driving a big ass van. It looks so suspicious, dude. Oh my God. I was like, looking at them like, hmm. I was so tired and they were like, all of you guys, I was like, how many of there are how many of you are in this car? I looked around like, uh, six. Because I was so tired. I was like, uh, and oh my God. And then when they asked them are like, are you guys, you as citizens? You were like, yes?
Starting point is 00:34:07 Yep. Yes. And then I was trying to say, like, have a good day. And I was also trying to say thank you at the same time. And I was like, thanks having that. I just kept on your typing. Bro. Stuttering.
Starting point is 00:34:18 It was so bad. It was really bad. Fumble. But about the Big Bend Wall, there is a place you can go to to help. It is no big Bend wall.org. Yeah. And actually, a native tribe is suing the government because of it now. So, which is kind of fire.
Starting point is 00:34:32 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's fire. It's just like unnecessary as shit, man. Even the ranger is like, bro, if anyone wants to even try and remotely come over here illegally, good luck getting through that desert. Like, it's just that simple.
Starting point is 00:34:43 It's literally just like a stupid power. It's so dumb. I looked it up. And you're destroying land. They wanted to like add some some paved roads and, like, it's just a bunch of bullshit that it's like, you don't need to do that. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It's just like shit that we don't even need there at all.
Starting point is 00:35:03 So they want to do like, they're doing. demolition or they want to do demolition and take down some parts of it. I don't know, dude, it's fucked up. It's a national park for a reason. You can't do that. It's so nice. Yeah. Yeah, no, it was, it was.
Starting point is 00:35:15 And the thing is, it's the darkest guy in America. So there's going to be more light pollution and nobody's going to be able to fucking see anything in the sky. So it's just, they're going to ruin it. They will all. It's all just to keep folks out. It's like, all right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:27 Yeah. So, and again, I think the major factor there is like anyone that would try, I came up with an awesome idea. we should place vending machines throughout the entirety of Big Ben Park so anyone that's trying to come over, they can just go get a free drink. It's like a network of vending machines. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:43 Nah, but in reality, it's super unnecessary. Anyone that would try and even come over, they would unfortunately more than likely die. Like, it's just, that's what the Ranger told us. I almost fucking died. He almost died and he was like within the park. You're in the campground. You're in the campground, dude.
Starting point is 00:36:00 God. Yeah, so after driving there, this is the big day. This is like the really fun day. This is where everything turns around. Everything, like, you are already at your lowest, right? And now you're going, it's only up from here. We're driving along the border. We go through even more checkpoints.
Starting point is 00:36:15 And then we get asked a question. It's, do you guys want to stop in Mexico? Yeah. Everyone looks at Nick, and Nick goes, sure. Yeah. Yep, right? Because, everyone looked at me because. There's a reason.
Starting point is 00:36:28 Yeah, there's a reason why we look at you because, because for the longest fucking time, I've been wanting you to go to Mexico, and every time I ask you, you're like, hell no, I don't want to go. I've seen the news. Oh, no, we're going to die. We're going to fucking get killed. And look, I get it because the news don't, they don't portray Mexico that well, right? The news lies.
Starting point is 00:36:54 They put up the worst shit you can possibly imagine. I mean, it's the same thing how, like, Europeans look at the U.S., and they're like, oh my God, you're going to get shot anywhere you go, just because they're shootings that happen in store, shootings happen here and there and here and there. And true, it happens. But how fucking, like, they just choose a few longer. Yeah, but the news, you know, that they, they show it and they only show that. And it's like, okay, right.
Starting point is 00:37:16 So it's kind of the same case with Mexico, um, where it can be dangerous. Yeah. Right. I'm not saying that it's not dangerous or that it's, you know, but it can be dangerous. Um, anywhere is dangerous. Anywhere is dangerous. You know, it's just, you just got to, I mean, you guys experienced it. You guys saw it first stand.
Starting point is 00:37:33 of like the, I mean, that area is a little bit more tourist, you know. Yeah, so we get asked if we want to go. Yeah. And we say yes. We go to Progresso. Yeah. Right? We stop. We pull into a small little parking lot. We gather all of our stuff. We go across the border. We pay the dollar each it is in coins to get through. Yeah, dude is a dollar. Yeah, it's crazy. I didn't realize how easy it was to get into Mexico. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, we just walked through some metal detectors. There were Mexican, military that were there. They just let us go through.
Starting point is 00:38:05 And then boom, we were in, and we were immediately met with everyone trying to sell us something. Oh, yeah. A lot of vendors. Which was amazing. Yeah. And now we are in Mexico. Dude, it was so fucking surreal. Are you not going to talk until you talk about your mask?
Starting point is 00:38:21 Oh, no, he's going to. No. No way. That's what we're all waiting for. Everyone's mood with that. Yo. Thank you guys for watching. Oh, gosh.
Starting point is 00:38:33 God, dude. I loved. I loved it. That shit was gas, and I hate everyone who doesn't like Mexico. Mexico was fun. Larry, that was the best taco. Oh, yeah! Larry was shining, bro.
Starting point is 00:38:52 That was the best luncheon and the best taco I've ever had my entire life. Yeah, we had lunches and we had tacos and oh my fucking God, bro. And a Mexican Coke. Oh, my God. That different? It's that different. It's that different grunk. I want to grab you and I want to fucking slingshot you.
Starting point is 00:39:08 It is. I think that out. I took one bite of the taco and I just looked at it later like, oh. I was like, bro. It was just like me. It was so simple. It was the simplest taco I ever had in my life. It was like me, avocado or me avocado and like I just sprayed some sauce on it.
Starting point is 00:39:23 I was like, oh my fucking God. So onion, some tomato like to start, to start, we're like walking around what basically feels like a Mexican version of NYC. Like you're walking around. People are trying to sell you stuff. It's pretty crowded. But this is like a touristy spot for the most part, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:39 And so very, very friendly people. You're walking around. People are trying to offer you cocaine and marijuana. Really? I think that was a joke. I don't think that's real. No, that was real. How do you know?
Starting point is 00:39:51 Talk a flip about it. Did you buy it? No. But he was so. How do you know? Okay. Keep in mind. Keep in mind.
Starting point is 00:39:59 We actually did get offered, we actually did get offered turtle meat tacos. So the validity. of buying cocaine in there. They like trolling the tourists, man. The turtle tacos aren't real, but the cocaine and weed is. Yeah, I mean, they'll probably sell you some weed. I mean, it's just like New York.
Starting point is 00:40:15 Dude, when I went to New York, some guy was offering, like, heroin. Watch New York is different. Yeah. Well, either way, it was like, basically in New York. Well, someone said they sent me this hat and I wore it in the end. Yeah. I got a hat for you and I have a hat for me. And I also have 20, no, 30 little marshmallow ice cream cones.
Starting point is 00:40:32 And also I got Lucas. And also I had, Dude, you're buying everything you saw. And I had, I did. And I enjoyed it. I did turn people down because I know there was definitely someone that sent their kid over to me. Yeah, they like, yeah, go get that fucking idiot who has like everything on. Isaac got haggled so many times.
Starting point is 00:40:49 Yeah, we're eating and they still kept coming into the restaurant trying to sell us stuff. Yeah. So we had, so we walked in. Our first stop was at a grocery store. And there was so many candies and so many sweets and so many foods. That was cool. So we had made a pit stop there to grab some snacks. I don't think I'd ever seen Larry's so happy.
Starting point is 00:41:05 It was awesome. Dude, after like the worst back pain and, like, sleeping, Larry gets to Mexico and it was like, yes. Yes. It's like, uh, it's like that post-marriage glow, but it was just like post-Texas. And I get the hype. Yeah. It was just awesome.
Starting point is 00:41:19 So then after the grocery store, we're walking and we see a corn, uh, stand, like a corn Oh my God, Lotes. Yes. Bro, dude. And so they had some elotes. Dude. It was also the best corn I've ever had in my life. Dude, it was like some of the best food ever.
Starting point is 00:41:32 Listen, I don't care. I don't care how Hispanic you are. You will never make me better corn. There's no one in America that will make me better corn. It is only that man. You can't convince me otherwise. He was so happy. Oh, my God, was it so, it was so good, dude.
Starting point is 00:41:48 He was awesome. And after that, right behind him was a street full of outdoor food shops. And so, you know, we're standing there, we're pointing that we're going to go over there. We're like, you know, we should get some food over there. And so as soon as we cross the street There's all the guys running the shops Coming out and they're like over here over here No this way over here
Starting point is 00:42:12 He's gonna fucking scam you That sounds like an exaggeration That's exactly what happened Wait wait wait wait wait wait hold on I told you I told flip I talked to flip afterwards I don't think I've ever laughed harder at Nick in public Because he's like all right
Starting point is 00:42:30 Enie meanie mighty And they were like, oh, oh, oh, oh, go to the shot. Trying to leave a bit, like, cheering for themselves to get picked. I'm like, I'm like, yeah, that's up to fate right now, guys. And you're not going to convince any, me, needy, maimo. And then boom, and we go to this one guy. He's like, no. They're like, no, he's going to rip you off.
Starting point is 00:42:52 He's going to upcharge the fuck out of you. Y'i, me, mini, maimony mo in Mexico? What's your, is there like a Spanish or a Mexican version of Eni, mini, money, mo? or is any, me, mini, moni, mo. Uni, do. One of those, three, quix. Uni, dui, tris.
Starting point is 00:43:09 Like, something like to, like, I'm going to pick something. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, singing this song. Is there something is, there is? There is, I'm trying to remember it. Oh, my God, I can't off top of my head. Well, I was just curious because. It's like a, it's like a, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da. Oh, the, it'sy, it'sy, yeah, it's like, but it's Spanish.
Starting point is 00:43:25 Oh, I don't know, but they all knew what Eni, Eni, Moni, Mo was. And they were all really trying to get. themselves picked. Yeah. Dude, Larry, the sauce. Yeah, yeah, we picked the restaurant. But the sauce I used for the taco or the lunches, that shit was hot as fuck.
Starting point is 00:43:40 Grunk. You were like, the hot was hot. The mild one is really hot. They're both hot. I don't even know. And like, people kept trying to sell me like trink it. So I was like, I can't even talk right now. This is the hottest shit I've ever had my life.
Starting point is 00:43:52 Grunk, it was like revolving sushi, but for people trying to sell you stuff. Like one would walk in, be like, oh, you want to buy this? And we were like, no, no, thank you. They walk away. And then another one walks in. do you want to buy this? And I was like, oh, that's all right,
Starting point is 00:44:03 thank you. Eagles, you have an Eagles hat? He's like, I'll be right back, walks out, another one walks in. You guys want shot glasses?
Starting point is 00:44:10 Eagles. And they're like, oh, look at the Eagles shock glass. And I was like, no, I'm okay. I'm waiting on my Buffalo Bills hat. That I also bought it right after the Eagles hat. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:44:17 he got, that guy got like kind of like pissed at Isaac. And he was like, you will suck. Yeah. Yeah. What do you say? What do you say?
Starting point is 00:44:23 What do you say? He said something stupid. Yeah. No, he was just like, again. Do you guys want to buy one of the shark glasses? He was like, I'll just give you this. You come back in a week and pay me. Oh, yeah, yeah. He was like, he was like, dude, he's like, you can just have it. You can pay me back in a week and a month. Whatever. You can just pay me back. Here, you just have it.
Starting point is 00:44:46 Dude, on the Mexican trip, on the Mexico trip, I was the friend that did not bring his wallet. I had my wallet, but I didn't bring my money. I can't blame you, bro. I just didn't, I just didn't go and take out money. Like, would you, would you, would you knowingly, like, if you had never been to America, would you bring all of your valuables to you to New York City? No, no, no, well, that's not what I'm trying to say. What I'm trying to say is that I was the friend that just like, oh man, like,
Starting point is 00:45:11 no, I was almost leaving my shit. Like, I think some of us left our wallets back there. I brought my phone. I brought my wallet. I brought everything. No, no, no. The point of that I'm trying to make is that I was making a joke, dude.
Starting point is 00:45:22 I was a friend that didn't fucking bring his wallet and that you guys had to buy me everything. Oh, but you wouldn't. But if I did have cash, because I didn't go and get cash, I would have definitely bought some. thing. I think one of the reasons. But I kept on saying, I don't have money. There's that and the fact that you were like, you were talking about the Great Locking and you knew
Starting point is 00:45:37 damn well, like, there's nothing healthy on the other side of that border. Like, it's all going to be like, mm, food, like, mm. Willie, didn't you love that food? Uh, didn't you love that corn of those tacos you had, the loonches? You know, it's crazy after, yes, actually I did. I've been, you guys had seen how rigid I was the entire trip. You were perfect. I think the worst thing I had was like a fucking beef jerky stick or something like that, which is not even bad. Yeah. You know, very lean.
Starting point is 00:46:03 But I did end up trying the alote. I did try some of the loch. I had five loce. I actually, actually were really small, but they were good. There was a pre-workout snack. Yeah, I fucking, yeah, I, I carved up. Let me tell you that much. And it was worth it.
Starting point is 00:46:16 It was, I took a sip of the Coke. That was delicious as hell. Like, there are so many redeeming factors about Mexico. Like, we walked around. We were able to, like, dude, just the people were so nice. Like, everybody was nice. I think the worst thing about Mexico. is the fact that we had to leave
Starting point is 00:46:31 to go to a different destination. We were there for like an hour and like an hour and a half. And although it was like, you know, it was a nice day trip. It was like there's so much. You would have loved it. Bro, I really wish I got a haircut.
Starting point is 00:46:42 I really do. I would have asked them to give me the end here. They had, they had photos. And it was really funny to be like the photos were like from Google of like the chat pictures. The chat photos.
Starting point is 00:46:54 Like the most perfect lines. Yeah, perfect line. The most perfect hair and everything like that. Oh, we saw. like Spanish Mario. Spanish Mario Penaata. And all the Piniadas, they had Goku soap, bro.
Starting point is 00:47:05 Like in the grocery store we went to. Dude, they had Mario next to like two strippers. It was all pinatas. It was the best, bro. It was like, bring me back. I'd go back and I'd have a blast. There's like FNAF action figures
Starting point is 00:47:16 being sold on the side. There was also, yeah, bro. Yeah, it was great. Dude, there was one time in the video I just kept on, like, every single time someone was trying to sell me something. I'm like, oh, Larry, you were just telling me you needed this, Larry, Larry.
Starting point is 00:47:28 And then they walk up to Larry. I don't know. It would be like a fake Louis bag and then we keep walking. Like a hat. I'm like, Larry, weren't you just looking for a hat? Larry, weren't you just looking for some sunglasses? Every single time. There was a really funny guy, like, because there's a lot of shoe shiners there too.
Starting point is 00:47:44 Oh, my God. He was trying to, like, to shine our shoes until they look down. And Isaac was wearing these, like, this styrofoam big giant Mickey Mouse shoes. And I was wearing fur fur slippers. And I was like, no, I just got these on. He's like, I can do it. Give me a chance. Yeah, let's give me a chance.
Starting point is 00:47:59 I'll try it. Yeah. Mexico was such a good vibe. I'm very glad that we went. That was fun. Dude, they're just funny, bro. Like, everyone's there. It's so stupid, dude.
Starting point is 00:48:09 I forget how funny they get where they're like, that's what I was talking about. We were leaving. They were like, hey, come on, we'll make you some turtle tacos. And then the, they were saying in Spanish. So, like, when I was selling the guys. Tacos are tortuga.
Starting point is 00:48:23 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Tacos de Tortuga. And then the other guy was like, Tacos is like, bro, what are you saying? He was like, yeah, He was like, what are you talking about? He was like laughing. And then some girl was coming up asking about, I think she was trying to sell us something.
Starting point is 00:48:37 And then the guy was like, don't buy or nothing. She'll scam you. And she got mad at him. She got pissed. She got pissed at it. Because we were like already by the, like by the border or by the entrance. Yeah. One of, like, one of the sad realities of going there and going to Mexico was like, you know that that's a tourist hot spot.
Starting point is 00:48:55 And the only reason. not as much. Well, I mean, when I'm seeing hands through the fucking the cracks of the bridge, man. There's a saddew, yeah. There's definitely, there's layers, man. There really is. That was the one time I wish I had cashed. People were asking for like money through the bridge that connected.
Starting point is 00:49:13 Yeah, a little boy was asking. He was like saying you wanted to eat and stuff. I think you gave him money, right? Well, I was walking out with a luchador mask. A fucking like a straw hat, a bunch of ice cream cones for Mexico. Like I couldn't, I couldn't, I couldn't not. Like, my morals would not. let me cross that border without doing that, bro.
Starting point is 00:49:28 I could not give him any money. I couldn't. I couldn't afford it. I got too much cool stuff. No, you did. You did give him. I think both of you did, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:36 I gave money before. Okay. You did give money before. Yeah, I just felt like an ass, like saying no or like ignoring that. You gave him like 20 bucks or something, 10 bucks. Yeah. I don't know how much they go. I'm sure it goes far in Mexico, but it's like.
Starting point is 00:49:50 20 bucks would go for a lot. I'm not. I can't walk back. They were taking USD there. I don't know where. They start taking, like, vessels. Dude, it was crazy. So, when you have to cross back over,
Starting point is 00:50:02 you have to go through, like, the, the Mexico side of things where, like, you have to pay, like, money, kind of like how you paid a dollar to get into Mexico. You have to pay, like, money to get out to get into the United States. And it was 30 cents. Yeah. And so, and, yeah. And so we didn't have, like, the cash on us. So, bro, like, they didn't even idea us.
Starting point is 00:50:24 They just opened the gate and just had $2 for everyone. I mean, look at us. Yeah, for everyone to buy. Like, can you blame them? Like, we look pretty... I don't know, bro. There's some Mexican that look white. There's this one girl in the town that my parents live at, and they call her a weta, because she's like really white, you know?
Starting point is 00:50:40 Well, I feel like maybe their logic is if you're not going to pass the United States, you just come right back anyway. Right? Because you still have to go through the U.S. checkpoint. Yeah, you still have to go through the checkpoint where they check your ID and they asked you, like, what were you doing there? Do anything on you? Yeah. But, no, it was fun. That was a really great experience.
Starting point is 00:50:57 Oh, also, you could go without a passport. You don't need a passport. Yeah, you just need ID, man. You need an ID. And a birth certificate. And a birth certificate. Yeah, you don't even... You didn't need a birth certificate?
Starting point is 00:51:06 No, I didn't need... No, if you don't have a passport, you have a passport, you have a passport card. I had one. Yeah. If you don't have that, you can bring an ID and a picture of your birth certificate to get in and out. Yeah. It's pretty crazy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:17 Yeah. So, I mean, you have to think about it, like, they can't turn you away, like, in the United States, like, you're a citizen. Yeah. You have to, you're able to come back. that was an amazing vibe. Like that like juice the vibes. Like being so down and sad about camping for so long. It was like a vibe enhancer, dude.
Starting point is 00:51:33 Yeah. That food was amazing. First actual meal was those tacos and I was like in heaven. And then from there on now, I'm not gonna lie, it only got better. It only got better. You know why? You know why the vibes are so up? Why?
Starting point is 00:51:44 Because they were eating fucking mayo hot dogs the entire trip. Because not the entire trip. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Gross. Let's take a step back.
Starting point is 00:51:54 Don't knock until you try, man. Don't knock to try it. keeping my mouth set for the entire time, but we did kind of gloss over the fact that we So when we were leaving, we're going to rewind just one time. When we were leaving the Super 8 with the data centers,
Starting point is 00:52:07 the chili dogs that we were having, we had ketchup and mustard as well. We only packed two bottles, ketchup and mustard. We forgot them there, and then we forgot to buy more when we got to the next place to eat these hot dogs.
Starting point is 00:52:18 Keep in mind, we stopped at like two more fucking Walmart. Yeah, we had no idea that he didn't pack it. Oh, okay. So the only other economy we had was mayo and I'll be damned if I'm being a dry dog. We had peanut butter, jelly, and mayo.
Starting point is 00:52:29 So you decide. What would you put on that dog? You want a peanut butter jelly dog? What would you put jelly? Honestly. Get the fuck on out of here. You're crazy. Dude,
Starting point is 00:52:39 just like I put chocolate on. Dude, let me know in the comments. A lot of people put mayo on dogs. Honestly, I did not like it. I only had it because we had to. You're weird.
Starting point is 00:52:48 Dude, you ever eating a baloney sandwich? Same shit. You're like a character right there. I love it. fucking mayo dogs, Have you ever eaten a baloney sand with the mayo on it? Same shit,
Starting point is 00:52:59 different day. That's really what it is. Larry literally almost walked home. Yeah. So doing that in front of, yeah, one person on the trip doesn't like hot dogs and the other hates fucking mayo.
Starting point is 00:53:09 And you combine both of those together. You get a special treat. You get like a fucking like a deterrent. Wait. Oh my God, maybe it'd make the other person, like it'd make them like the opposite thing. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:19 You should have tried a mayo dog, Larry. No. Yeah. Maybe you would have had mayo and, Dude, I could smell it. No. Oh my God. Mayo got a Larry's bag or something and he almost threw up.
Starting point is 00:53:29 I didn't want to mention that but here we go. You got on my fucking bag, dude. My back was on the floor. It was so dark. I couldn't see the bag and I was like, and it got on my fucking bag and I'm like, you ass all over it. It was like a little drop in a little bit of mail.
Starting point is 00:53:45 It was like a reason. No, it was bigger than that. No, it was not this big Larry. No, there was. And my stains to show it. There's stains on it. It was like yellow. Look at them.
Starting point is 00:53:53 arguing about mayo and dogs. They're arguing about mayo dogs a lot bigger. Dude, grunk, it was bad because then we end up after that stopping at another Walmart and they forget the condiments again. They had opportunities, multiple opportunities to get more condiments and then they eat mayo hot dogs another night in a row. So now at this point, Isaac has dogged eight hot dogs. I think I've had, yeah, I've had eight, he had ten. So we put down 18 dogs for you. Not the best thing to eat.
Starting point is 00:54:22 Yeah, there's kind of like a lot of, like, a lot of. other good stuff to eat. Dude, I was surviving off of, like, the Hill Shire fucking. Crackers cheese and meat. Yeah, there's a cracker cheese and meat. It's like a lunchable. And then at night, ramen noodles. Do you ever see those TikToks of like those moms or dads?
Starting point is 00:54:40 It's usually moms that are like packing my daughter lunch. And it's like the most beautiful meal in the world. So that was me with my food. And then they were eating at a lunch bags and like the brown bags and whatever they got. fucking flourish. Willie had like, bro, Nick had like protein drinks. He had protein yogurt and like steak bowls.
Starting point is 00:55:00 And it was literally, if I had your brain, I would do, I would have done that. But instead, I had 10 mayo dogs and it was great. And boy, did those feel me.
Starting point is 00:55:10 I was like, man, I feel like fucking shit on this trip. God, I don't know how much more I could take for this bad food. And I'm sitting here and listen to it. You know what,
Starting point is 00:55:18 Willie? I'm down two pounds after all those mayo dogs. I am too. Yeah, because it's cleaning out your whole, fucking body. I will not lie. The bowel movements that followed this trip were not to be discussed on a
Starting point is 00:55:32 I didn't shit until the third day. It was bad. It was really, really bad. And Larry didn't shit the entire trip. You guys are scared of poo. Dude, dude, Larry, I'm not, we're going to get there. Larry went five days without shitting until we got 10 miles away from home and he was like, oh my God.
Starting point is 00:55:48 The Herald, Angel Singh. He was like, grabbing like the fucking thing. His toes were like Rip it through the fucking floor of the van It was only with the 10 The last 10 miles We were just talking about it today Larry's like
Starting point is 00:56:00 Bro I poop like two times And I was like yeah That was day four and five Larry just slept and did not shit Dude on the trip In the car Oh my God Was the camera recording
Starting point is 00:56:09 For any of that Larry When we were talking about Oh it was yeah The GoPro One of the GoPro Larry and I were talking We're just making A fucking Odyssey joke
Starting point is 00:56:19 The entire time About like our poop being Trojan horses Yeah And they were like getting ready. Yeah, they're like, I was like, okay. I can smell Austin from here.
Starting point is 00:56:30 It's like just waiting for you to come out. That was one of the far as I don't know how my body did that. I didn't really like, I didn't really think about it either until like we were at our last leg of the trip. And I was like, damn, I haven't shit this whole trip at all. Like I've peed, but that's about it. Yep. And.
Starting point is 00:56:44 Oh my God. You know what? Larry would have been able to shit when we get to South Padre. Yeah. However, so we get the South Padre. We have a nice hotel. right it's beautiful beautiful air conditioning
Starting point is 00:56:55 from the two days of camping that we just had amazing like a pool jacuzzi dude on the beach motherfucker how it felt real when we pulled into the parking lot
Starting point is 00:57:05 and we couldn't find where our room was and then Isaac just pulls into a random parking spot we get out and the room is right there right in front of us and we're like holy fuck
Starting point is 00:57:15 it's meant to be this is going to be the best this is it night of our life oh my god so we take out all of our stuff we bring it inside Tanner at this point
Starting point is 00:57:22 checked out, bro. He's got blisters on his feet. He goes and takes a shower. He's like, bro, my feet from these bear paws brought on. So, Taylor, how funny? How funny was it to pack only one pair of shoes and those were the bear claws? I liked it. I thought it was a good bid. I think it's worth it. It was a good bit, but it was also really funny how our creative, creative director was like, that's hysterical. So you did it and you didn't pay anything else. Yeah, I just asked him, I was like, should only bring these? He's like, that's hilarious. You should do it. I was like, yeah. Oh, that's like a classic.
Starting point is 00:57:52 Would you jump off a bridge? Yeah, that would be hysterical. You should do it. All right. Well, so we get there. Tanner goes in showers. Isaac and production. And then Larry ends up walking.
Starting point is 00:58:03 We all go to the beach. I'm filming for a bit. And then we're like, okay, well, we catch wind that there's this like carnival area, like a boardwalk kind of area, like bars and like a ferris wheel and some rides. So we all get ready to go. We end up convincing Tanner to go with us. We rent a. golf cart
Starting point is 00:58:20 Tanner You were talking to me while I was showering in the hotel too Lucky man Yeah And that comes into play Yeah
Starting point is 00:58:28 And that matters That fact matters I actually also ate my food And I rinsed out All of my stuff And I was like Okay fuck yeah This is sick bro
Starting point is 00:58:37 It feels so good Change getting new clothes We get on this golf cart Grunk We go to this area Go on rides and stuff At this point I look at Tanner
Starting point is 00:58:47 We're standing in line to get tickets for these rides, Tanner's eyes are like glowing red like an Inderman, bro. And I'm looking at him, and he's like, he's like, smiling eyes are fucking half shut.
Starting point is 00:58:57 And I'm like, are you fucking high right now? He's like, yeah, I was giving a THC drink. Which, by who? By production?
Starting point is 00:59:07 By flip. Oh, I see. Yeah. Because, because they sold it. They were selling it there. And to be fair,
Starting point is 00:59:14 it said 30 milligrams, and he drank most of it. I didn't know was going to hit me that hard. Yeah, that shit slammed you. That shit was different. I was like, and even after all of that,
Starting point is 00:59:24 you still got the one up on my bitch ass and went on. Yo, Isaac. I went on a slingshot. I went on the slingshot completely high and it was the, it was that right. It was awesome. It was fun as shit.
Starting point is 00:59:37 I felt like I was going to space when I was. I bet, dude, that sounds crazy. It was crazy. I was telling, I was telling 10, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:59:43 dude, trust me, bro, this is going to be the most fun you've ever fucking had. I promise. He's like, okay, I hope so.
Starting point is 00:59:47 And we're like laying there And he's like dude I'm sorry And we get fucking shot straight up Dude you just loved it I was so proud of Tanner Cause yeah Isaac got bitched
Starting point is 00:59:57 Isaac's like I'm never fucking doing that too I'm too big for that shit bro I don't know These two deal weeds Went to the Went to the on the Ferris wheel The slow Ferris wheel
Starting point is 01:00:06 We had a cute little moment We're up there And he stopped it up there We started looking for you guys We couldn't find you Dude Larry was like Man I feel fucking stupid I should have gone on it man
Starting point is 01:00:16 It was so fire dude Yep Your phone well bad I'm telling you bro It was a fun ass time Why didn't she go back And go on it They were closing I think
Starting point is 01:00:23 Yeah they were closing You could only buy one ticket And we had to return the carts So we were like Let's go get some food And then we'll return the cart So that we can make it all on time Dude driving that cart was so much fun
Starting point is 01:00:34 You were having the time of your live drive You were you kept turning the hat backwards And like Oh You're just driving a golf cart of six people On the road I was hanging off the fucking back of it And looking at people
Starting point is 01:00:44 I was waving at everyone Dude everyone Everyone with a golf cart out there, like, Grog, do you have a beach town of Virginia? Like, what, what's your big beach town? Yeah, we got Virginia Beach. Is that like the town? Everyone goes to, like, have, like, a beach day or, like, go to the beach. I think everyone kind of goes to the Outer Banks.
Starting point is 01:00:59 Outer banks? Okay. It was like, you know how people in the Outer Banks are when it comes to just like, no one is actually from the outer banks. They're just visiting. So everyone's in a great fucking mood. They're not home. It was like that. It was like, this is the one place in Texas where everyone was like that.
Starting point is 01:01:14 It felt really nice. not Galveston, fuck you Galveston, we'll get there, but yeah, golf cart had to be returned we went on to golf cart, we stopped for food truck food. And I got a bunch of unhealthy foods. I also got an unhealthy sandwich. It was like real food
Starting point is 01:01:29 that they finally fucking had. I had my chicken, Tanner had brisket sandwich. I had a brisket sandwich, dude. I was, you know, it was a camping trip, it was a road trip, I didn't care what I was eating. It just sounded so good. No, I'm not saying here, I can't judge you, bro. I got like a... I don't even remember what I had.
Starting point is 01:01:44 It was good, though. Justified crash. Let me set the mood. We had the best fucking day ever from leaving Big Bend to go into Mexico, having an amazing time there, coming to South Padre, amazing hotel room. Everything was like all looking good.
Starting point is 01:01:59 In one day we left Big Bend, went to Mexico and went to the beach. Yep. All in one day. And went on all that carnival shit and ran to the golf cart. Yeah. Oh my God. Now we come back home.
Starting point is 01:02:10 It's like probably 12 something in the morning. It's like 12.30 in the morning. Here it comes. We place down all of our food and we turn on the sink. I turn on the sink to try and wash my hands. Water doesn't work. And we're like... Nothing ever goes right for us, group boys.
Starting point is 01:02:26 No. All the water is turned off. We go to try the other sink. Doesn't work. Try turning on the shower. Doesn't work. Toilets broken. The entire hotel.
Starting point is 01:02:35 Right after Tanner was able to shower and right after I was able to wash out all of my fucking, my glass stuff with all my food in it, all of the water in the entire hotel goes out and the next time it'll come back on the next day when we leave yeah i'm not even kidding you they said noon next day our checkouts 11 so nobody could shower no one could shower now grunk i know that doesn't sound like a massive big huge deal but i got to put this at least you and me real quick just so i can level with you you've had long hair you know what goes into that now yeah i was literally crawling on the beach with like the longest most salty dried hair from jumping in my my my my my my whole head was wet.
Starting point is 01:03:16 I was banking on this shower and that happens. And that was like, bro. Oh my God. I actually can't imagine. It's like going all in on black. Oh my God. I died.
Starting point is 01:03:25 I died. I busted everywhere. There's nothing, brunks, dude. We all did not shower. I mean, we showered the night before a big bend, but then we went back to our,
Starting point is 01:03:35 like our tents and it was hot. You're just sweating again and smelling like shit. And then we get, so no one could shower. Yep. Not at all. You couldn't pee because there was no water to flush. you couldn't do anything
Starting point is 01:03:45 You could have peed Well I can still pee Yeah we filled up I think it was like we stacked three peas And I used our flush I did use a flush also I did use a flush also I peed in the
Starting point is 01:03:55 I'm gonna be I'm gonna say it I peed in the shower drain That was you Dude it reeked like piss The whole bathroom You had to wash it down or nothing My pee was My pee was really clear
Starting point is 01:04:07 I can't imagine it would have stung You have to put water back down The flush it You stinky guys Fush in the sink feed in the shower. This is me. I did that.
Starting point is 01:04:17 Dude, I don't even. You know what, bro. That was like so stupid. It was just like, yeah, you get there, you get there.
Starting point is 01:04:23 And yeah, so I, we just went to bed. Yeah. We were so fucking pissed and upset. We just went to bed. And then the next day was just the final leg.
Starting point is 01:04:30 It's the final day. We go to Galveston. I hate Galveston for some reason. I thought it was actually really chill. Yeah, it was really chill. We went from South Padre, awesome,
Starting point is 01:04:40 beautiful blue water beaches to Galveston. Brown, shitty and it's also right by Houston sorry I didn't mind Galveston it was pretty nice the sand was really soft The people were nice Yeah people were nice people were nice People were nice it was really funny though
Starting point is 01:04:53 Charles Barclay just hates it because he can go anywhere In the world yeah Charles Barclay hates it And there's like dog poop so it was like really funny Yeah there was a big pile of dog shit on the beach I was like all right we're in Galston big dog Big pile of dog poop No but that's where we ended up We ended up closing the loop technically back in Houston
Starting point is 01:05:09 Yeah And honestly dude I'm very happy that we went on that trip That was a great trip Grunk, wish we can go on a road trip with you sometime Yeah dude Dude drive to Virginia Just drive to Virginia
Starting point is 01:05:23 And then join you Our next thing We're gonna say it in the video Our next trip should be around California Our next trip should be around California It should be in an RV And we should bring you We should start at the inland
Starting point is 01:05:34 We should start at the inland At the bottom right inland near New Mexico Or whichever is right next to it And then we should drive up Go left and then down the coast. Because we can hit the redwoods and we can hit the beaches and we can hit a bunch of other shit. I want to go to the redwoods.
Starting point is 01:05:48 We can hit every, we can hit every beach on the way down. Yeah. And also I want to make like an oath right here and now and I'm going to tell production as well. I want to make sure we have time to do shit. You know, we were in and out of Mexico. Boom, one hour. We were in and out of the beach like, boom, 45 minutes.
Starting point is 01:06:05 I was like, uh, but. Grunk. This is my final year of having obligations. I watched your video on YouTube. Before I can do anything. I watched your video on YouTube. Did you like it? I did.
Starting point is 01:06:17 What you post? I posted a video on my JP. Oh, yeah. I watched it too, while you've been gone for a minute. It's called Stop Jacking off. Oh, is there a different one? Stop jacking off. It's really just like... You posted a video about that once.
Starting point is 01:06:32 It's like an update? Yeah, I said stop watching porn. Yeah, just like an update on why it stopped uploading because and the reasons being, I feel like one, I don't have much to talk about and two, anything I do talk about is like, how do I know that's something that I will agree with down the line?
Starting point is 01:06:49 Yeah, because you're ever changing and ever... Yeah, like, I'm still changing so much. See, I agree with that sentiment, but then you'll prevent yourself from ever posting ever again. Life's about changing and changing things. Personally, I think that's fine, but like putting out a video
Starting point is 01:07:04 and stating it as like, as if it's like some concrete opinion, it's like, eh. Like what? Like, was there a specific? Like, you think we should be watching Born now? Yeah. Did you change your mind? I don't know anymore.
Starting point is 01:07:15 I don't know. Who knows? Who knows? No, man. Everything flips on his head before you even freaking realize. Right. That's just true. I think, I think it's important to recognize the growth over time, though.
Starting point is 01:07:28 You would never be able to acknowledge growth. Like, dude, the videos that we have posted from years ago really show growth, right? Like, the type of humor that we had, the type of, like, there was no reference. if everyone kind of thought that same way, then there's no reference to know what the internet was or how people thought then versus now and what was acceptable then versus why it's no longer much
Starting point is 01:07:50 acceptable now. So it's like, yeah, I can understand where you're coming from, but you know, not everything requires you to be like, well, this is my opinion now. So in four years, maybe I hopefully stand by this or not. Like, you know what I'm saying? It's just kind of like, it's kind of one of those things where it's just it comes of time. And if you're really not comfortable with it, just remove it, private it. That's what
Starting point is 01:08:09 I do. There have been some pretty poorly dated jokes in some of our videos in the past years that I've just privated, bro, because it's like, well, I don't agree with those. And keeping it up only allows for it to fester an agenda that I don't agree with. Point blank, you know. People change, believe it or not. People can change. No way. It's kind of crazy. People really do change. And you're also allowed to be in life. You're also able to disagree with your past self without also like putting your past self down like that's that people who do that people who live in those types of mindsets they they don't allow and acknowledge for growth and as a result they're holding everyone at a fucking stake and it's like that's not conducive to growth right
Starting point is 01:08:57 because who are they to be the fucking the guards of growth like what like you think everyone's just going to be like you're going to grow up and fucking know what's right and what's wrong everyone's all different bro so yeah that's true Nobody gets out alive in this world. At the end of the day, though, I feel like recently, like, I feel like there's two, if there were any concrete feelings, I feel like it'd be understanding, I talked about it in the video, understanding acceptance and patience. And that's like all you need to get through in life. Yeah. Acceptance and patience, yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:28 If you can't change. If you can't control it, why, what's that saying? Yeah, it's like, if you can't, you can control your. actions but not your thoughts that's a thing that's what is one saying I don't remember it it's something about
Starting point is 01:09:44 if you can't control it why worry or it's like a one of those box the box diagram where it's like can you control it no then why are you like stressing out about it
Starting point is 01:09:52 yeah can you control it yes then why you're stressing out about it yeah it's just like it's kind of like that stoic mindset
Starting point is 01:09:58 right like stoicism yeah it's just like don't get upset over things like if you fire an arrow
Starting point is 01:10:04 you can aim perfectly at that fucking that target and the minute The minute you let go of that arrow, wind could take it over to the right. Don't get upset about the wind that took it to the right because it was out of your hands. You're so stoic. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:18 I mean, that's really what this. You're stoic. Stoic. But yeah. Yeah. So, I mean, honestly, dude, people grow, bro. People who fucking don't allow other people to grow. Like, you know, I like to think about this a lot.
Starting point is 01:10:32 It's like, if you are someone who tries to gauge and look at it. someone else's growth or like kind of smite them for it. But my number one reference is look at your parents, like straight up. Look at your parents or look at your friends. Like people who are really close to you and like just know that they made, because they're older than even the people that you are judging now, they've definitely made even more fuckups. They've definitely said things.
Starting point is 01:10:57 They've definitely done things. And like, you know, I think the biggest thing for me to take away is just like, don't give a fuck as much. Like straight up. If it's not harming. If like you genuinely. genuinely did not hurt somebody, but if you, and if you did hurt somebody, you're able to apologize and you're able to make up for that by, like, actually, like, trying to seek out
Starting point is 01:11:17 a solution. Yeah, yeah. I mean, I mean, that's just an example, right? Like, you know, I don't know. In life, like, yeah, I've had my feelings hurt in past, you know, it's just like, what do you do? It's either that person gets over it or, like, you talk it out or whatever. I don't know. But that's, I'm kind of, like, the thought they're a little fleeting because I don't really
Starting point is 01:11:35 want to jump down that rabbit hole and, like, talk a bunch about it. but I don't know I think that a lot of people just need to start like I'll have to watch that video JPA was it while we're on the road trip he didn't even tell us no it was it yesterday
Starting point is 01:11:49 oh okay yeah yeah I was yesterday yeah I just sat down and did it because I've been wanting to post on there but um Ouch I just haven't had the draw
Starting point is 01:12:00 like the calling yeah like how you were that's a contradictory statement but you know what I'm saying yeah like like I've been wanting to post, but I haven't been sure what I wanted to talk about because I wasn't... Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:12 I felt like I said everything I wanted to say. It's real. But the main thing I realize I'd be talking about on there is like two people that were in my position like three years ago, like starting college and just that period of change in life. Right. And I feel like a lot of people who are in that position right now could definitely use those words because it's a very big... I love reading the comments because like I think it really does help people. Yeah. Yeah, there are a lot of people that have no idea what's going on. Yep.
Starting point is 01:12:37 You know? There are a lot of people that don't get to have those types of conversations. I think there are a lot of people who don't know how to have those types of thoughts. Yeah, I was actually talking with Jackson today about how, and he said something that stuck. It was like, friend groups with, like, diverse ages are so important because, like, everyone can learn from each other in such a crazy way. Like, I think I either heard or read or saw somewhere. It was, like, classrooms where it's, like, or schools or whatever, where, you're, you know, all grades are like in the same classroom that's where people or students learn the most because everyone helps each other and and learn each other and it's like oh that makes so much sense you talk about k through 12 one roof type of school maybe yeah yeah the littlest of jits to the tallest of brus yeah like everyone offers so many different perspectives and dude grunk lit in his video is like i'm just a jit who doesn't know anything did you actually see that the unknowing jit
Starting point is 01:13:36 I'm just a young-ass shit. Oh my God. I'll have to peep. I'll have to peep and see it. I mean, Grunk, like, you know,
Starting point is 01:13:46 I think what gives people perspective is a lot of people, I feel like a lot of people just don't think or they, I would like to think that they have the capabilities to, but sometimes people show that they really don't. It's like thinking about other people's perspectives other than their own. Yes. And like, that really does come with time.
Starting point is 01:14:03 Tony guys. Because like, for example, with like my great lock-in, bro, like, I'm showing every single day of my week what I'm doing. I'm showing going to the gym. I'm showing what I'm eating a lot of the time. Or I'm just saying what I did, right?
Starting point is 01:14:18 I'm showing every single day. And it's almost like, it's almost like when you're a kid and you're like, oh shit, I didn't realize that my teacher actually goes home. I never thought about that because I thought that they slept at school. Yeah. Like, you know, like, oh my God, you see your teacher. They disappear after you leave. It leaves your mind, you know.
Starting point is 01:14:36 So it's like there's a little bit of a lack of perspective sometimes. And that's not always. I mean, there's a lot of great people in the comment sections who do a lot of commenting. And then also not to even down talk people who lack perspective. Because the point is to try and help them gain perspective. Right. So it's not even like it's not like there's anything really negative about it. Where it starts to kind of get a little negative is when they start to like get very judgmental and like very negative.
Starting point is 01:15:03 and like things are like that closed-mindedness bro I can't fucking stand it it's just like it's ignorance and like on the they don't desire they don't possess the need or want to change their perception
Starting point is 01:15:16 or their outlook on other things because the way they think is very stubborn yeah it's uh you know rumored to be right I'm thinking the correct way I can't be swayed type of thing yeah you can't be swayed
Starting point is 01:15:27 and you will be swayed eventually I'll say going to Mexico gave me a good perspective it gave me a very good perspective on just everything that I have. Yeah. I mean, I posted my, my great lock-in video
Starting point is 01:15:39 technically today at the time of recording this. And in that video, I do mention just straight up that, like, there's a lot to be grateful for. Like, even in the gym, like, the ability to be able-bodied is in of itself something to be grateful for
Starting point is 01:15:53 than no one really thinks about. Like, you injure yourself and you're just like, oh, fuck, man. Like, now you're waiting to recover. Or, like, you get sick. And, like, everyone gets sick. And then they're like, Fuck, man, I do anything not to have this goddamn sore throat right now.
Starting point is 01:16:06 And it's like, you know, it's like the thought of not having that sore throat sounds so amazing, but you don't really remember. Like you remember like how good it was to not have. It's the same thing. Or it could be like you'll never know how good it is to not have something like a chronic. Yeah, as I say, like someone like, let's just say someone's on dialysis. You'll never know. Straight up say. Yeah, like they have to go and get dialysis multiple times a week, bro.
Starting point is 01:16:24 Their kidneys cannot function anymore without a machine helping aid and flushing out toxins and stuff like that. Like it gives perspective, you know? Like someone who's like they miss a limb or like I don't know shit like that it's just always good to think that way I actually tried one day not to like make a joke out of people there missing a limb I tried one day when I was really young I just have to get this off my chest guys I'm sorry I tried to like emulate what it would be like if I lost my left arm I didn't make it very far it took me about an hour um I was able to brush my teeth that was super cool I could not tie my shoes
Starting point is 01:17:00 And I almost was late for school Because my mom was like You gotta stop pretending like you're a parallel You do it hurry up getting the fucking car This was last year by the way Yeah I was 20 Yeah I don't know
Starting point is 01:17:14 Like oh my gosh It's yeah Don't take things for granted bro I feel like especially we take those around us for granted Often Oh yeah Take a second and just sit there And think about the people
Starting point is 01:17:24 Who have been a part of your life And how they've affected you in different ways positive or negative. It's really, it's something special, bro. Like, it really is. Like, oh my God, whatever. I watch, I forget if I talked about this on the podcast or not, but around Christmas time, I watched, it's a wonderful life.
Starting point is 01:17:44 I think it's the movie where it's like old-ass Christmas movie, black and white. And the guy, like, tries to kill himself, but then the angel brings him back and shows how sad the world would be without him. And then the angel, like, brings him back. and everyone's like so happy to see him and that movie like yeah it just like it gave me so much perspective
Starting point is 01:18:04 on like how much one life affects so many others and like I just started thinking about how how I've connected with so many people and like all my friends lives that I've impacted and how they've impacted mine and it's just like bro tears just like genuinely
Starting point is 01:18:20 so fantastic that movie it used to be the most boring fucking movie I've ever seen in my damn life up until I hit a certain age and I started really paying attention what's going on. Yeah. Trust me, it's a wonderful life. We'll soon register and click in some of your brains when you watch. Oh my God.
Starting point is 01:18:36 It's like, wow. Generally one of the best movies of all the time. I got to watch that now. You've never seen it's a wonderful life? Bro! Are you serious? I... It really makes...
Starting point is 01:18:49 No, don't tell... The three musketeers. What the fuck? Okay, can that be our first movie? Please, dude, Larry. Like as someone who like really appreciates movies and shit I'm kind of like I'm gonna give you a noogie after this camera turns off But you really I'm serious you need to watch that
Starting point is 01:19:04 He also hasn't seen he also hasn't seen Nemo Okay I'm sure Mimo can go it doesn't have to be Nemo There's a lot of Disney movies I haven't seen toy story It's a wonderful life it's like no I thought I didn't but I did see toy story Because I remember I was constipated one Christmas My brother put his laptop in the bathroom and had to watch Toy Story It's like it's a wonderful life
Starting point is 01:19:25 When do you know it's black and white And like when it was shot? Because it was like the 60s or something Real is for a long time ago Yeah, do they have it in colored They do, but it's not the same You would like in black and white We'll watch it tonight
Starting point is 01:19:38 Okay It's three and a half hours Fantastic movie I'll give it a watch I'll watch it in Washington Because by the time you got to see this I will be completely in Washington You will be
Starting point is 01:19:47 Max I'll be flying I'll be there Whoa Damn All right I'll be seeing my dogs.
Starting point is 01:19:56 All right. Some dogs. Oh, speaking of dogs, you gotta go downstairs and need some more mayo dogs. Yeah, you guys want a mayo dog to go?
Starting point is 01:20:03 Grunk, try one. Grunk, that's your homework. Mayo dog. I'm not gonna do it. I'm just not. Tell Jackson.
Starting point is 01:20:07 Tell Jackson about it. I'm the same way with me. Dude, if you tell Jackson have a mayo dog, he's like, oh, dude, I love Mayo dogs.
Starting point is 01:20:12 He will. He will probably like, oh, you're talking about the mayonnaise dogs. Yeah. Oh, yeah. It's just so gross. I can hear him and go,
Starting point is 01:20:17 ew, no. Ew, the fuck no. All right. We'll wrap this up in a nice little Christmas box and put a little bow on it. That bow is called Make sure you use code group for 10% off your lien. And inside the box is we'll see you next week. And the wrapping paper is love yourself goodbye. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:37 Love yourself goodbye. And watch some brain food, something, anything. Not just on Instagram real. Watch something that makes it think and makes you wonder. Or just stare at the wall for 15 minutes. Or do that. Yeah, reset your dopamine receptors. stared at a tree.
Starting point is 01:20:51 Jackson told me he did this thing at work one day where he just stared at a plant and said, I am the plant, I am the plant over and over for like 10 minutes. I want to finish off. I want to finish off on this. I had a walk at the beach super late at night. And I walked all the way down and all the way back. And that was the most craziest hypnotic you would ever be in your fucking life. It was insane.
Starting point is 01:21:16 Actually insane. Night beach walks are it. He also drank a tea. H.C. drink. No, he did not. No, he did not. He had a little cheeky modello. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. We can't end yet. One more thing. Um, so, Grunk, remember
Starting point is 01:21:29 when you and Nick and Jackson accepted that one special gift from someone on the fucking street? Oh! Yeah. So, oh my God. So it turns out, uh, that dumbhead over here at a gas station, there was a lady that walked up. She had a great cool dog. Her name was Kiwi. Shout out Kiwi. Kiwi's mom. if you're reading this, thank you for the two mysterious blunts you gave to us from Colorado.
Starting point is 01:21:53 We will not tell anyone. Like mysterious do. They weren't mysterious. They weren't. They were so nearly packed. They smoked weed that this random lady at a gas station gave them that had a cool dog. And they gave it to Larry and Larry didn't know until the next day. He was like, I told him.
Starting point is 01:22:07 I was like, yeah, dude, I can't believe you guys smoked that weed. I didn't know it was from a stranger. That was horrible. And I haven't. And I also hadn't, like, that was the first time. I was like, you know what? Fuck, hey. The stars are out.
Starting point is 01:22:19 camping. It was so beautiful. I was like, fuck it. And then the next day I got told that, I was like, wow. To be fair. Wow. My own friends. Larry. My own fucking friends. First of all, we thought you saw because you were standing right there. But second of all, she also, not to incriminate Ms. Kiwi's mom.
Starting point is 01:22:35 She smoked one right in front of us. Okay, but people can be doing shit. You never fucking know. You still don't know. Hey, don't you, don't you dare to, yeah. You guys are so dumb. It's life. It's life. You're so dumb.
Starting point is 01:22:46 We're so dumb. We're crashing out, crash out podcast. Dude, rule number one of dare, don't accept drugs from strangers. Like, now I can't do it from... They have a really good vibe. Yeah, their vibe.
Starting point is 01:22:55 I have a vibe was on the charts. At this point, I'm just going to grow if I ever want any, but no. My God. Okay, well... See you next week. You guys. Oh, you guys.
Starting point is 01:23:06 I forgot about that. Now I'm like, fuck this, dude. Quick, bro fisted out before you get... Do you have a good time, though? What? Yeah, I had a good time. Yeah, I'm sorry, Larry. Larry, I would have never let that happen to you.
Starting point is 01:23:16 I would never let that happen to me. That was the case. All right. Yeah. Everyone, have a great weekend. Take care. We'll see you all later. Adios.
Starting point is 01:23:26 Brofist. Madios. Mahah. Maha. Me too.
