Starting point is 00:00:00 Hi, I'm Ago Wodim and here's a clip from my new podcast, Thanks Dad. Were you in trouble a lot? A lot, yeah. Yeah. A lot. What do you think that is? Attention. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:13 Attention and no outlet for, you know, like I was obsessed with Saturday Night Live and stuff very young. Uh huh. Like there's a video of me doing DeBeers at four years old. Like shock and I would watch it on repeat, everything. You know what I mean? So I think just when you're a kid, there's no outlet. You're like in Skokie.
Starting point is 00:00:38 You know, people weren't like. Oh yeah, you were in Illinois. Yeah, people weren't like, oh yeah, put them in an acting school. You know what I mean? They were like, this kid won't fucking shut up. Yeah, yeah weren't like, oh yeah, put him in an acting school. You know what I mean? They're like, this kid won't fucking shut up. Yeah, yeah. You know, so you end up, you know, you'd be like, hey class, you want to hear my impression?
Starting point is 00:00:51 And they'd be like, yes. And the teacher would be like, you're fucking done here, pal. Are all the kids who talk too much in class, like on TV and doing music now? Maybe, but I think it's definitely in our age. Well, I said you were old enough to be my dad. I don't think that's definitely in our age. In your world, I'm so much older than you. Old enough to be my dad. I don't think that's true. Papa bear.
Starting point is 00:01:09 Sure, fine. You could have had me. In my generation. You were just a little, if you lost your virginity at a teenage age. Do you count like paying for sex as virginity loss? So you were, if I say no, then what age would you say you were when you lost your virginity?
Starting point is 00:01:28 31. I knew it. I freaking knew it. Yes, no, yeah, you're right about that. I'm sorry. No, but I do think our generation, talking in class, getting in trouble. Yeah, it just was different. Like now, now I feel like, cause my do think our generation, talking in class, getting in trouble. Yeah, it just was different.
Starting point is 00:01:45 Like now, I feel like, because my son, both my, all my kids have it. They're like, you know, that need to like, perform or get a rise out of people. And I see as soon as it happens, like the conversation is so different. They're like, Cole has an amazing sense of humor and amazing timing.
Starting point is 00:02:05 Like, you ever thought of improv classes? Which is not a thing a teacher would have said back in the day. It was like, bad kid. Yeah, no. Kids being bad. Are you kidding? They're like, yeah, they're like, no, we,
Starting point is 00:02:15 he's gonna need extra time for his test. Yeah. So it's also given the profession, the city you're in, the profession you're in. Totally. But still, I do think still it's probably gotten a lot Better it's for sure has and so yeah, I know I think you're right. I think we all were you that way, too I was a

I'm like like thanksgiving was like showtime Yeah, for sure. I was like, the audience is filling in. Oh, yeah. I was working on shit, working on workshopping characters beforehand. Scratching things out. Yeah. Like the high holidays, like the Rosh Hashanah was like me workshopping for Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 00:02:55 I wish I could have been there. Oh, yeah. I was like, well, only the Jews will see this part. But once I get to the broader audience, it'll really. All right. Okay.
