Starting point is 00:00:00 Canada, this is, you know, third week ongoing. We have this truckers rally. Things are happening as, you know, by the moment. So at the beginning of this week, Prime Minister Trudeau, he invoked the Emergency Powers Act. This is a very rare situation in Canada. It has not been done recently. Here's the headline Canada's Trudeau invokes emergency powers to quell trucker COVID protests. These are broad federal powers really to restore order. And immediately there was already pushback. So we have the Civil Liberties Association in Canada. There's a headline here warns normalizing emergency legislation, threatens democracy. They took to their Twitter account and said this, quote, the federal government has not met the threshold necessary to invoke the
Starting point is 00:00:44 emergencies act. This law creates a high and clear standard for good reason. The act allows government to bypass ordinary democratic processes. This standard has not been met. And they went on basically to say that governments regularly deal with difficult situations. Wow. And by using these powers so freely, it's going to really, it's really going to have an issue on civil liberties for people. And just recently, the Canada's Association, the Civil Liberties Association, announced that they're going to have a press conference at 4 p. on Eastern today to announce
Starting point is 00:01:18 a planned litigation of what they call significant public interest. So it looks like they may be planning some legal action here against the Trudeau. government. Trudeau literally right now, all he has to do is just say, I'm not going to mandate the vaccine for truckers that sit all alone in their trucks, driving across the country in the cold, a vaccine that does not stop Amacron. He himself just got sick in the middle of this and had to quarantine himself. So there's absolutely no purpose to this vaccine. But instead of just letting go of this failed vaccine, he is going to bring in martial law, override democracy, act like there is a war at hand and take away people's civil liberties and rights in order to get his way.
Starting point is 00:01:59 I mean, absolutely atrocious. It's horrifying. And throughout the entire process, we've watched him divide the country with really divisive rhetoric. I mean, we're not going to go into it here, but it's been pretty interesting to watch, and it's turned a lot of people against him and really awoken the rest of the world. Now, even Biden administration, they appeared to have goaded him into this, into this movement for these Emergency Powers Act. And this is the headline right before Trudeau announced his Emergency Powers Act. Biden urges Trudeau to use federal powers to end bridge blockade. Remember, Trudeau essentially did nothing for weeks until this Emergency Powers Act was enabled.
Starting point is 00:02:39 So even Biden getting in there. So our own, the beacon of light and hope for freedom and liberty just said to Canada, go ahead and take away the people's rights, just bring in federal power. That's the best way to handle this. What's the Constitution? What are civil liberties? Forget it. Throw that out. Trudeau. Just do what we would do. I mean, is that what we're to understand? This is what the United States of America would do? I mean, that was a suggestion given from the Biden administration is to use these federal powers.
Starting point is 00:03:07 And that was the one they chose. That's what Trudeau chose. So, you know, it appears that that was what was being pushed behind closed doors. And a lot of premieres, a lot of territories in Canada also immediately reacted to this. So here's the headline on that one. Caution must be taken against overreach. Premier's reacted Trudeau's call for emergencies act. And it says federal opposition parties say Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's decision to invoke the Emergencies Act is a proof of failure in dealing with convoy blockades across the country. Turo's proposal was also quickly dismissed by their premiers of Quebec, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba.
Starting point is 00:03:42 And understand that as these emergency powers were coming in, and they were to stop the blockades at the border crossings to America. at Coates and the Ambassador Bridge. Both of those protests had been broken up by the police. The police did their job, which they were tasked to do. And the protests were peacefully, they were peaceful to begin with, but they were peacefully broken up. There were some arrests, but you see here this video, this is Rebel News Canada. They've been using great reporting. They brought in heavily armored police, but they did break up these protests. So there really wasn't a clear and present danger at this point, besides peaceful, protests in Ottawa and some other cities. The border crossings were open at that point. So
Starting point is 00:04:25 there's a big question of why this was implemented and still is being taken to another step. And I want to bring that up here. Now we have Christina Freeland. She is the deputy prime minister in Canada. She's also the minister of finance. She came out and up the ante after Trudeau came out with his emergencies act. And this is what it sounded like in her press conference. As of today, all crowdfunding platforms and the payments. service providers they use must register with FinTrack and they must report large and suspicious transactions to FinTrack. This will help mitigate the risk that these platforms receive illicit funds, increase the quality
Starting point is 00:05:11 and quantity of intelligence received by FinTrack, and make more information available to support investigations by law enforcement into these illegal blockades. So they basically want to have the name and number and address of every single person that donates to anything so that they can investigate and track you. I mean, these are, this is what we've been warning about, folks. This is, you know, the destruction of your freedom, your destruction of freedom of speech, the right to assemble, all of these things. And now they are tearing apart.
Starting point is 00:05:49 technologies that allow us to, what are we doing here, right? I mean, for those that donated, donating to those truckers that don't have a job because they are being forced to take a product that causes myocarditis, can risk their lives, and yet has no ability to stop the virus at the current moment. Because of that, we, you know, people have been donating and giving to these truckers to keep them fed and keep them warm, and now they basically want to go after and investigate anyone that helped them out. I mean, it's really, really scary times. And for those people out there that, you know, have got Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, you have to really ask yourself, is the
Starting point is 00:06:28 writing on the wall, are they going to start trying to track every single transaction that they don't currently have control over right now? This is where we all really need to start stepping up to the table and having these conversations. Very, very important conversations. Yeah, and this marks a high watermark for a financially authoritarian directive by government during this COVID crisis. We've seen heavy-handed physical movements by Australia and China, you know, literally beating their people, beating their citizens for protesting. But this is a financial movement that says a lot of people's heads, you know, scratching their heads. And it's important to note here, Freeland is a board of trustee member for the World Economic Forum. And we cover that many times the show. So that is a data
Starting point is 00:07:10 a point worth mentioning because a lot of their endpoints for the Great Reset involve, you know, complete control of financial transactions and digital currencies. Now, there's a lot to her press conference, but she announced that she was expanding what was called the Proceeds of Crime, money laundering, and Terrorist Financing Act to include cryptocurrency, to include crowdfunding. So I looked into this, and it only has, this Act only has two objectives. The first objective is to implement specific measures to detect and deter money laundering and financing of terrorist activities. And the second is to respond to the threat posed by organized crime. And it goes on more there. So basically, terrorist activities and organized crime are now, the umbrella has expanded
Starting point is 00:07:54 to involve truckers and people protesting for public health measures. Again, this is absolutely unprecedented what is happening right now. And we have more here. This is, I believe, Bloomberg talking about this Trudeau's anti-protest law, and it says sweeps across Canada's finance sector. So now this is the most recent headlines. It says here the new rules make demands of a broad list of entities, including banks, investment firms, credit unions, loan companies, securities dealers, fundraising platforms, insurance companies, and fraternal benefit societies. They must determine whether they're in, quote, possession or control of property of a person who's attending an illegal protest or providing supplies to demonstrators. And if you
Starting point is 00:08:35 read this article further, it goes in, and these banks are saying, we've received no instructions from the government. We don't know what to do. If we suspend these accounts, if we seize these assets, you know, there's legal considerations we have to worry about now. So the banks are kind of left swirling in the wind at this point. It seems like a really big deal that's happening there right now. That this is still going. Absolutely. Really scary stuff. And Freeland also mentioned just recently in a press conference. This was today. We don't have the clip of it, but she said that accounts have been frozen, crypto wallets have been turned over to the FinTech financial regulators by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. That's their federal police force. So these accounts of, she said,
Starting point is 00:09:15 individuals and entities, so I'm guessing businesses as well, are have been frozen. And then this brings us to another fundraising platform we've talked about, Give Send Go. They recently had a hack. So they were hacked by, you know, unknown hackers, Give Send Go back online after Hesend Go. They've doxing of Freedom Convoy donors. So a spreadsheet essentially was released with the donor's names, their addresses, and how much they donated. And what was happening at that point was allegedly the Washington Post was now starting to contact these people that were donating.
Starting point is 00:09:52 This was a Twitter post allegedly having a letter here. It says Washington Post is contacting people asking them what motivated them to donate to the truckers. This one here was for a $40 contribution allegedly. They were trying to get in these people's business. And even Minnesota rep Ilya and Omar scolds journalists for promoting harassment of Canadian freedom convoy donors calling it unconscionable. So this thing is racing out of control really quick. Well, I mean, just because, I mean, talk about a witch hunt or, you know, inciting, you know, fear and loathing into people. I mean, this is what you're afraid of, right?
Starting point is 00:10:30 This is a private company. instead of the Washington Post saying, this is an illegal destruction of a private company that allows people to donate money to people they care about. Instead, they are going to investigate, and I guess out people that were a part of this. I mean, take this illegal information from basically a theft of a company and then put it out.
Starting point is 00:10:52 I mean, what kind of world are we living in? I mean, it really is dystopian at the very least. Right, right. And understand, too, the media picture that's been painted as well as what has come out of Trudeau's mouth is all of the truckers are violent extremists, right-wing, use whatever buzzword you want. So when you start docksing these people's addresses and then the media is adding fuel to that fire, that is a bad situation about to happen.
Starting point is 00:11:20 So it's being good that's called out by a lot of people. Yeah. Wow. Really shocking and shame on you, Washington Post and all of those that would sort of reveal the private information of human beings. I understand that Washington Post put out articles, putting people's names. Those people are coming under attack. That means we now have a media arm here in the United States of America that is promoting violence, is promoting acts of violence against individuals in America and Canada. Really shocking, really, really shocking stuff right now. And I hope they're held accountable.
