Starting point is 00:00:00 Man, this wire has just got sunshine piling down on it right now. Of course, it's been an amazing week. If you were watching the show last week, I raced over after the vote came in, confirming Robert Kennedy Jr., a secretary of Health and Human Services. I did the show, and then I had to leave it in Jeffrey's hands because I had to run over to the White House to step inside of the Oval Office and watch Robert Kennedy Jr. get sworn. in as HHS secretary. I think for many of you, I am sure the feeling is as overwhelming,
Starting point is 00:00:39 as awe-inspired as the feeling that I've been carrying this week. I was just reflecting for days, but as I was flying back from Washington, D.C. to Austin and watching all of the news reports showing Robert Kennedy Jr. there swearing in and all the beautiful interviews he's doing right now and watching this conversation that's unfolding now for the first time ever mainstream news is having to discuss the safety of vaccines mainstream doctors are starting to come out and say they have real questions on mainstream news programs and I just you know you can't help but think you know how did we get here all of the work you know so many of you sharing you know, the high wire and vaxed where all of this starts. And those of you, all of the great
Starting point is 00:01:33 other thought leaders that are out there, all the doctors have been speaking out long before I even got here. And really ultimately to Robert Kennedy Jr., who never backed down, always stood for the truth, stood for the parents, stood for the children. And, you know, I thought about it, you know, between you and I, sure, I was a part of helping him run for the President of the United States, because I stood in the Oval Office. I thought, I think, this is even sweeter than President of the United States because someone could have said, well, I mean, he really got this job because of his foreign policy, maybe Ukraine or other issues. He's so well read. But at HHS, he is now the most powerful in the most powerful position
Starting point is 00:02:16 in the world of health across the world. HHS decides so much of what WHO is going to do or any of the other regulatory agencies across the world. He stepped in in the most controversial space that he's been. And of course, all the lies and deceit from mainstream media and mainstream medicine about his positions. But of all the positions to hold, that one would have seemed to be the farthest out of reach. So in this moment, I mean, it's still sinking in on me anything. is possible. Definitely the United States of America, all dreams can come true. And we just watched,
Starting point is 00:03:00 I think, for many of us, something that is beyond our wildest dream. Certainly in the 10 years or so that I've been at this, we have skyrocketed to a place that I think only God knew we were capable of. That moment in the Oval Office looked like this. The United States spends more money and health than any other country on earth, but we're growing sicker every year. We're not as healthy as countries that spend just a fraction of what we spend. So there's something wrong. He's going to figure it out. In recent decades, we've seen staggering increases in cancer rates across all age demographics,
Starting point is 00:03:36 including more than 40 percent increase in childhood cancer since 1975. Who can believe that? And an explosion in other chronic childhood illnesses. Not long ago, one in 10,000 people, children, had autism. now it's one in 36. Think of that. One in 10,000. One in 10,000. Now it's one in 36. Who can believe that? There's something wrong. There's something wrong. And I think it's something that can be found out. And that I will well and faithfully discharge. The duties of the office. The duties of the office. On which I am about to enter? On which I'm about to enter. So help me God. So help me God. Congratulations, Mr. Secretary. Robert Kennedy Jr. is now the highest-level Kennedy since his father in the U.S. government.
Starting point is 00:04:33 And, of course, is now overseeing health. Depends on what network you're looking at, how they're taking this news, but it is huge news. And to watch President Trump there bringing up this issue of autism again, as he did the first time he ran for president, and the promise that he made all the way back then has finally come. through Robert Kennedy Jr. Him working together. I wanted to talk to some great friends of the High Wire and I Can and Maha and all the work that we're doing,
Starting point is 00:05:04 these friends that have an autistic child themselves and just get a sense of what this moment is like for many of the parents that are out there. So I'm joined now by Tracy Slepsivik, Steve Slepsivik. Now, of course, Steve, we've had you on the show with strategic response, partners. You're dropping in into all these. disaster areas, whether it was Maui or North Carolina, I want to thank you for all that work.
Starting point is 00:05:26 And Tracy, you've been running the Autism Health Summit. We've had you on talking about that and also being a warrior mom, your book. But we've never seen the two of you together, I don't think, on the stage. So it's great to have you here representing the whole family. And that's my question. You yourselves have a son that was diagnosed with autism. What was that moment like watching Robert Kennedy Jr. sworn in as HHS secretary for, you know, parents like yourselves that have a child with autism. So I personally feel healthier already. I'm ready to dive in. But no, it's been a long time coming. And what I love about it is Bobby was that man who was there at the Capitol with you as well, fighting alongside us parents for the rights for us to choose,
Starting point is 00:06:15 whether or not that we wanted to vaccinate our child. So we've watched our children, a lot of us, thousands of families all over the world, have watched our children regress into a state of autism after a routine well-baby visit with a vaccine injury. And nobody would listen to us. Pediatricians just telling us that it was all normal and all this is okay, and it's just a little allergic reaction, right?
Starting point is 00:06:45 you know, your kid regressing and losing all their skills and speech and motor skills. And how is that? It's just an allergic reaction. So to me, this is big for so many families. And then also it's even bigger that, you know, we can clean up our food industry and what goes into our food, and the preservatives and everything else because it's not only autism, it's chronic diseases across the board. Obesity is plaguing our children as well. So it's a number of things. So to me, this is a beautiful moment. And I'm super excited. And there's only so much good to come.
Starting point is 00:07:30 Yeah. Steve, you know, this is really, it's been a warrior moms movement. I mean, we're not here without the warrior moms. In some ways, you were at a lot of those events where there's very few men in the beginning talking about this. You were there, Robert Kennedy Jr. That movement has obviously changed. A lot of the families that aren't back in there were listening to people like you saying, hey, I don't want to go through that. But for you watching, I mean, and watching Bobby getting grilled in those hearings, you know, the attacks and what was it experienced like? Yeah. So as parents, we dealt with this for 17 plus years. We were the ones that were. called the anti-vaxxers, but yet we were the pro-vaxxers until our son or child got injured. And the attacks just were relentless. So I felt were Bobby's pain and a lot of pain that other parents had gone through that
Starting point is 00:08:25 our voices were not being heard. This is the first time with this legacy type cabinet, this team of experts that Trump has empowered Bobby and other experts in his cabinet to really kind of pull back the curtain, right, to take the real experts, to take a look at it. and you know what a weaner pig is? No. Okay. It's a little pig that is, you know, on its bombs, you know, like the big pig.
Starting point is 00:08:49 So when you're trying to take the pig to wean them off the milk, you know what they sound like? Wee! Wee! Wee! Okay, that is what you're going to hear. And what I'm telling you about that is because they've been on the milk. Right, right. It's really hard and they start to squeal.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Right. And if you're around that, it's a very loud, shrieking kind of sound. Yeah. Is that the sound I've been hearing in Washington? DC. Yeah, that's a sound you've been here in Washington. So what I always say is, as they get louder, pay attention. Either they're going to resign because they got something to hide.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Yeah. Or they're going to get really loud because there's something to hide. Yeah. So if you're afraid of the truth, that's how you're going to respond. Right. This is a moment of truth. So seeing Bobby get confirmed, have a permigrin every day is Christmas. And I feel, I speak for the rest of the pro-health.
Starting point is 00:09:41 The pro-health movement. We are tired of the lies. We're tired of the corruption, and we're tired of the bias that has infiltrated our government, industries, everything else. And as parents, and those that are about pro-health, all we want is the truth because, based on results, right? Yeah. He's speaking now for all vaccine injured people, not just those with childhood vaccines,
Starting point is 00:10:06 but the COVID vaccine, the HPV. These are all things that deserve to be looked at. Why are you afraid of it? Why are you afraid to be looked at all these industries? All of it, right? So this is the time. It's a legacy time. It's a moment in history.
Starting point is 00:10:22 And I couldn't be happier. I couldn't be happier. And I tell you, there's a massive groundswell that's supporting the Maha movement. The change in America has already started. And I'm excited every day in the morning. Hit the ground running. How can I be in service? Let's go.
Starting point is 00:10:39 Well, speaking of weiner pigs, one of the biggest weiner pigs screamed out. He had posted this. This is from Paul Offutt, who has made the rhodovirus vaccine, has been a big proponent of vaccinations. No group has been hurt more by anti-vaccine activists than children with autism. Anti-vaccine activism hurts children with autism. He's obviously upset there talking about the fact that Trump is posting about this talk about autism, I'm saying we're going to get to the bottom of this conversation. And you know what I find interesting about that post is exactly what you just said.
Starting point is 00:11:15 He's not saying, you know, as President Trump, when, you know, having Kennedy sworn in, he's not, you know, he says one in 10,000 now one in 36. Paul Offutt's not explaining why that rise. He's not bringing science to the table. He's not, you know, saying this has been misunderstood. he's going for an emotional play. Like, now you're against autism and those with autism. You're hurting autism. I mean, you couldn't be less scientific if you wanted to.
Starting point is 00:11:46 And to me, it is. It's screaming now. They're screaming because they don't have anything left. They can't point to actual science. They can't explain why we've had this rise and they can't figure out what it is. So there's a lot going on there. But for parents with autism, this is an argument we deal with, which is we should.
Starting point is 00:12:04 be accepting autism, we should be celebrating autism. How do we find ourselves in this world? How should Kennedy find himself in a statement like that? These kids, they are, they're very vulnerable at a young age, but to turn them around to address those underlying conditions, this is what I say, address those underlying conditions to get them to a fully functioning state. I didn't cure my kid I didn't change my kid my kid is fully functioning at the age of 19 he's working he he drives he takes care of himself he travels all on his own he's about to go to japan for three weeks with his friends by himself yeah and he did that because i addressed those underlying conditions because you have a combination of yes some pre-genetic dispositions as you know like mt hr mitochondrial disorder all those
Starting point is 00:13:00 things that contribute to, you know, you add those environmental toxins to it and it triggers that gene and those children are more susceptible to vaccine injury, to regression into a state of autism. And there are published studies on this. You know, Steve, one of the things that I struggle with is, you know, this spectrum is so wide, right? I mean, when we talk about, I think what Paul Offit is referencing is children like yours that did, you know, pull through, managed to get to college, you know. But as you well know, there is also this autism of nonverbal, those that are self-harming, having just, I mean, and those parents struggle every single day.
Starting point is 00:13:47 And Paul Offit is saying to try and if we could stop it, if we found what was causing that. I mean, this is what's amazing. We now know, anybody with any blood moving to their brain knows that there's an environmental issue going on here, that there may be a genetic vulnerability, as you well pointed out, but if you could stop it, how, you know, how can you say we shouldn't, you know, or if, you know, so it's such an interesting problem. Yeah, I love when people like that just run their mouth. The difference is you're talking to a mom whose background is from the Air Force by our
Starting point is 00:14:24 environmental engineering whose life is about finding the root cause. He's talking to a father who, my entire life, environmental testing, remediation, from toxic wildfires to massive hurricanes, storms, flooding, testing everything, right, from doing hospital protocols and cleaning and remediation. Here's somebody who's going to argue with somebody who, when their son got vaccine injured, it became our world every single day to be all the conferences, research all the books, and not me. She would disappear at months at a time every day in the books, right? It's like that was her whole world was, I'm going to find the root cause, right?
Starting point is 00:15:04 As an expert witness, what is the causation that caused this building to collapse? Where was the fail point, right? So these are all things that are in our world is real. So when someone goes off like that, I'm like, you know what? You don't live in the world. You're disconnected, and your posts are not going to age very well when the science, the real science comes out. And I think I feel it's going to come out really quickly because Bobby's putting together the best team of experts, the best scientists and that are not biased. They're not bought and paid and collected and so on and so forth.
Starting point is 00:15:36 Don't have any special interest. And the truth is going to come out. But that's what's happening in this administration. So it's an exciting time. And it's time that everybody really in the world roll up their sleeve. Roll up the sleeve. The time to work is now. So the voices that are out.
Starting point is 00:15:52 there trying to be loud, they're going to get loud. Ignore them. Those are sideline issues. Just keep pushing forward. Set your clear intention and don't deviate from it because, you know, for us that have dealt with it for a long time, we don't hear any of that. I mean, the conversation's changing. Of course, I think there's going to be now a tidal wave. I mean, I've had people come up to me and say, I really, I have a child with autism. I didn't make that connection. I'm looking back. I was looking at their records. I see, you know, where am I at? Or someone is saying, you know, what do I do?
Starting point is 00:16:25 So that's really what the Autism Health Summit is all about. So just tell me, when is it? Who all is invited? Where is it? What, you know, because I think there's so many people that are now clamoring for this information. So it is in Sunny San Diego. Okay, nice. April 11th and 12th.
Starting point is 00:16:41 The 13th is just a half day with vendors. But we have some amazing speakers such as yourself. We have Dr. Peter McColl. Dr. Brian Hooker. This year we have Dr. Morayn Hintry talking about Lyme disease in autism. We have Dr. Nick Jasani, who's actually coming out to talk about mesenchymal stem cell therapy. We have Dr. Mike Chan flying in from Malaysia to talk about regenerative medicine. Dr. Sabine Hazan talking about fecal transplants.
Starting point is 00:17:14 I mean, we're talking about energy medicine. We have functional medicine doctors talking about how to address those underlying conditions. So this is really about education, about community, about being able to be there. Last year, one of the doctors said, you know, I got a little bit of prayer and worship in the morning, got a lot of education, and got some great entertainment, right? So we have the Swell family coming back out from London to sing again. It's a great event. It's a great networking event. And we also do provide continuing medical education credits for doctors and nurses and I think some therapists. So it's, you know, everyone's welcome.
Starting point is 00:17:58 All right. Well, you guys are, you know, just amazing humans, amazing Americans. I mean, doesn't it feel like America's light is turning back on? Let the flame has been lit. It's so exciting. Thank you for all the brilliant work that you're doing. Tracy and Steve. Thank you for everything. You know, just love that, love all the support you brought to ICANN, the high wire, and love all that you're doing. So keep up the good work. And then one last note. Like I said, it is supported by a nonprofit organization. So for those people out there who cannot attend but still want to support, being able to help support and pay for those parents to be able to attend in those scholarships,
Starting point is 00:18:39 if they could just go to autismhealth.com. Let's bring that up right now. And autismhealth.com is where they can do it. donate? Yes. Okay. So if they go to autismhealth.com, they can donate. They can, you know, typically a scholarship is around $250.
Starting point is 00:18:53 Okay. And that pays for all their food, all their education. Beyond that, once we get more established, then we can start paying for their travel and their accommodations. All right. Awesome. Well, if you want to know what the Autism Health sub is all about, take a look at this. So my dream for probably a good 10 years or so has been to run an autism event.
Starting point is 00:19:16 to really educate those parents on addressing those underlying conditions associated with autism and truly, truly hearing from the best speakers that there are on the planet. Del Big Tree. Dr. Peter McCullough. Dr. Sabine Hazan. Dr. Brian Hooker. Dr. Joshua Burka, Dr. Richard Bulls, Dr. Mariah Hinchie, Jeff Sowell, and daughter Sienna, and Olivia, the Spellers community, and Don Marie Gaven, and all these amazing doctors, scientists, and parents on how to address the underlying biological conditions associated with autism and other neurological disorders. When I started this journey, I felt alone.
Starting point is 00:20:18 But we come together. We come together team night, and that is the most important thing. What is it that you choose to create in your life? This is a one-of-a-kind experience you will not want to do this. There's a lot of bad stuff that's happening. And what is almost invisible to the eye is the good stuff that's happening. And I believe we're heading towards a wellness that we've not experienced in many, many decades. our generations. It's important though, regardless of what kind of power we think we hold or don't
Starting point is 00:21:08 hold, that we understand that it's imperative that we all step forward. We need to research. We need to find out because the people are watching this probably think, me alone can't save the world. But if we get a community, if we get a group, we can really affect the world. Beautiful event, beautiful people. Last Autism Health Conference was fantastic. I'm looking forward to being there so I can meet all of you when you show up there in San Diego. So I'll see you all there.
