Feels so good to be back at my own desk.
Had a few weeks off over the summer there.
I went to Freedom Fest.
I really want to thank Tracy Beans and Jeffrey Jackson for holding the fort down.
Last week I was still running around, dealing with some other issues around the country.
But I'm so excited to be back and it feels like the whole time I was gone.
Things just went absolutely haywire.
We're going to talk about that all the way through the show.
But first, I just want to report.
the last time I was at the desk that you saw, we were at Freedom Fest, which was really a celebration
of liberty and, you know, getting outside of party partisan thinking and looking at the future of
the nation. That's what that, you know, that festival's all about. So it's amazing. All walks of life
coming together. I always joke, you know, if I was going to make a poster for Freedom Fest,
They'd probably have, you know, some, you know, weed smoking guy in a tie-eyed shirt and dreadlocks or the joint hanging out of his mouth, standing across from like a, you know, a cowboy with a big buckle and a 10-gallon hat.
It would say something like, I won't touch your weed if you lay off my guns.
Deal.
It's all about freedom there, and it brings all walks of life and all kinds of freedom, and it looks something like this.
Good morning, good afternoon, good evening.
Wherever you are out there in the world, it's time to step onto the high wire.
Hey, everybody, we're live in the blazing sun of Las Vegas.
It's the third year we're broadcasting live from Freedom Fest.
And the theme is here, a brave new world.
I think we're at a very serious problem.
Today, America's adding one trillion in debt every 90 days.
Throughout history, any time a country has done this.
Bad things happen.
There are so many ways that our freedoms are being eroded.
Finally, people are starting to see the issues that you've been screaming about.
And they're like, this really sucks.
Like, I have less economic mobility,
and government has much more control over my life.
And that is the antithesis of freedoms.
I was an actor.
I didn't ask to be part of the freedom movement.
I want to just make, you know, silly movies with a lot of nudity back in the day.
Yeah.
You know, my nudity, unfortunately, for the other.
unfortunately for the audience.
But then what happened was you just,
you can't stand on the sidelines
and seeing injustice
and seeing a very noticeable erosion
of individual freedom.
I was just an IT guy who was watching the world
go crazy and I was thinking to myself,
I want to be able to express myself,
but it felt like you're not allowed to question things.
Every day that goes by, more people are waking up
to realize that the solutions they need for their family
and their children will never come from the Republican and Democratic
parties. I live in the center of tyranny, right? Whatever happens in New York State, in New York City
is going to go someplace else. That's why I keep fighting, right? My congressperson is actually AOC. I accept
condolences. There's nothing in the Constitution that creates a presumption of liberty, but as the best
means for enforcing what is in the Constitution, and that just means the burden is on the government
to justify what is doing.
He must have a welcome. It's a hell victory. I have an important topic. I think it may be the most
more from the world. And the reason is because my topic is the only one that lock you down,
to ignore your businesses, and destroyed our economy all across the world.
The evidence is overwhelming that they were playing with exactly the right kind of virus,
doing exactly the right kind of experiments, exactly the right time that came from exactly the
right place. That's pretty strange. Right. I don't think it occurred to any of us that they
would take measures like they did and absolutely decimate people's lives and you're a racist if you
ask the question. Our mission is to protect patient and doctor freedom. So the
electronic health record was imposed by the government to do what the government
wants it to do, which is to control your doctor. Look at the fact that your
schools don't give a hoot about the education of your child. What I'm interested in is
sort of how people are making choices and how we're thinking about people who
make different decisions because it paves the way for us to really be quite
judgmental, contemptuous, and disdainful of one another. If you look
Over all of these different social revolutions, they were always using incendiary images and radical rhetoric to jar people.
The biggest misconception that most people have is who the American oil industry is.
Cars are not only a symbol of freedom, they're actually an incredible driver of freedom and prosperity.
When I conceive of like the idea of liberty, I think of two ideas and balance with each other.
I think of personal freedom, your right to do whatever you want, but balanced with personal responsibility.
We find people who are being abused by their local governments.
We rally the public around their causes and we put public pressure on the officials that are doing this harm until they back off and do the right thing.
Some of these things that started off in the fringes have now become really solid things.
Yeah. Some people learned from the lockdowns that just because government says do it, we shouldn't always do it.
Right. I'm happy about that.
This is the most special country, which gives it the potential potential
for greatness because we have freedoms that don't exist anywhere else in the world.
We should never take those for granted.
And I'm going to say this on your network, which is not going to make me popular,
I used to think that you guys were cranks.
But, geez, was I wrong?
Like, I should have taken a more critical eye.
The fear we're talking about is going to be used to get you to do things
that it would never do before.
Look back to what has brought more harm and destruction on humanity than any other.
I'll tell you it's not a virus or bacteria or pestilence.
bacteria,
and it was the idea that the government,
that is the king, dictating, central authority,
you'd better than you had to live your life.
And tell you how to live.
And you needed to cede your rights to central,
whether it's agency or government authority.
And often the way that they took the rights was fear.
So if you're gonna be afraid,
you're afraid to go take away of rights.
I want to thank Freedom Fest for this opportunity
three years in a row.
what a partnership it's been.
Let's fight back.
We are fighting back.
You guys are big time.
We are big time.
Thank you.
It's so important.
This is awesome.
Keep up the good work.
It's very exciting.
All right.
We'll keep you in loud.
Thanks for talking to me.
Thank you, Jeffrey.
What a pleasure.
We should record this now.
Well, we had an absolute blast.
My team was amazing, you know, setting up that set there.
I mean, that's what it takes, folks.
You make that possible so that we can go and reach new hearts and minds
at Freedom Fest. And what a difference a couple of years makes. I was thinking back, like the first
time we went to Freedom Fest, you know, a few years ago, you had to sort of beg and drag people
into interview. They're like, oh, I don't know if I want to be affiliated with you guys. Now,
honestly, there's like a line of people begging to be a part of our Freedom Files. And speaking of
Freedom Files, we're assembling those in a way we never have before. We did over 20 interviews,
Jeffrey, doing most of those with all sorts of.
of dynamic thought leaders from around the country and around the world.
We're building that into a series of episodes, and it's some of the work that we're doing.
I want to just give you a little hint right now.
If you are not a donor to the high wire right now, you probably want to become one.
If you want to be a part of beta testing, the future of the high wire and where we're going.
We've got some very exciting things we've been working on actually for a couple of years,
building up to this moment in just a few weeks from now,
you're going to start seeing the new direction that we're heading in.
And if you want to be a part of talking about and weighing in
and helping us craft that future,
then become a recurring donor right now.
Just hit that button at the top of the website.
We'd love for you to be a recurring donor at $24 a month for 2024.
But honestly, any amount will do,
any amount that you can afford to say,
I love the work that they're doing.
I love the message that they're spreading.
I love the legal battles that they're fighting for me.
Become a part of it now because we're going to start really blessing all of you that take care of us
with some exciting new things in the future.
