Starting point is 00:00:00 that feels like something that would have an ad before a porn hub video absolutely sick of jerking off alone flirtcam.ai fuck jack off with a real fake bitch a real fake bitch a fake bitch with real tits i'm a fake bitch with real tits it sounds like someone's intro on jersey i know i'm like i'm the fakest bitch with the realest hits you'll ever meet we're going we're doing it fuck it we'll do it live is there are there any topics that we didn't get to last week probably well i wasn't sure if there was anything on your phone oh on your notes that we didn't get to no okay i think i speed runned
Starting point is 00:01:17 it at the end speed ran it speed ran speed rend it i so i have something for you i have several things for you but to start with um one of the articles i'm gonna read both of us are going to learn at the same time what some of these dating trend names are so this is so exciting yeah we we can both guess wow this is so like inclusive of you because normally when i do this to you i'm in the position of power um i meant to look them up uh and click these little links but um i forgot until just now oh okay so it's not you being inclusive no well i think i'm gonna pretend you didn't say that i think it's fun to be on your side or like i think it's fun to that's yeah all to know and together yeah yeah so this time we'll be learning together so i'm gonna say there's
Starting point is 00:02:06 three different um dating phrases what what should we call them dating trends terms yeah terms okay trending terms um that oh we got a snorf inspector on the camera that's very good gramps you look handsome he's such a little shit come on knock this over oh get out of the camera that was so dramatic he was like oh that's because he is dramatic yeah he's one of us it's like he knows there's a camera there yeah because who's that handsome guy i'm seeing i feel like i've done a terrible job of introducing this i think you're doing a great job of introducing it i'm gonna give it one more try though okay so i have something prepared for you um i have two different articles about dating trends like dating trend predictions of 2026 love it um that we're gonna
Starting point is 00:03:02 discuss but one of them references like three different dating terms and you and i are gonna learn in real time what they mean okay but first we're gonna guess okay good i love that so the first one is throning throning yeah what do you think it is can you read me the the sentence before it each year or really each month it seems new dating trends emerge reflecting the dire state of today's dating world from throning to stack dating to vibe dating these trends can range from mildly concerning to downright toxic i feel like maybe throning is like putting somebody on a pedestal that's what i was thinking too that was my initial thought like you're taking them off of like you're taking them out of the stable and putting them on a throne throning yeah um
Starting point is 00:03:48 all right let's find out what throning is the headline is throning is new dating term and i'm about to rip my hair out that feels scary device headline your ads are so different from mine this is sad what are my ads i ignore them i don't need an ad blocker because my brain just blocks them yeah that's so true i have ad blindness um throning is dating someone who via association increases your reputation and ego that's kind of fucked up so it's like the opposite of shrekking yeah opposite of shrekking someone who makes you feel good about yourself and increases your social status well i guess they could be shrekking they could be like somebody that you deem unattractive but still
Starting point is 00:04:39 increases your social status shrekking while throning yeah shrekking while throning but i mean regardless i don't know i think sun dating dating for the sake of improving your social status is that feels very animal kingdom boo hiss boo like you know what i mean like it's like how like why don't you just date someone because you like them right um i did see a tweet that was like she was easy and then it said bro she liked you that's so fucking true that's so real she was easy what if she actually just like had a crush on you yeah she liked you well you know it's they have they're like a brain cell and a half between like three dudes that's true i feel like also the people who like say that or like come up with these terms like don't date anybody yeah they're
Starting point is 00:05:29 virgins yeah oh she's fucking throning dude don't worry about it okay stack dating that feels like you're like you have like your number one slot and if they don't work then you go down to your number two slot yeah like it kind of seems like it sounds like a new term for like having a roster yeah yeah right or like benching or whatever like a back dating you know or maybe like dating a bunch of people at once to kind of sort through yeah like kind of like hedging your bets a little bit but also like why that's just dating yeah right okay yeah it feels like stack dating is a more intentional it's like a batting order yeah you know like you you have your you have your first guy and then or what if it's kind of like uh you know brackets until you get to the final
Starting point is 00:06:16 two march madness uh-huh march madness for dating or like munch madness munch man i also want to know who's using these terms like i don't know that's a good question like is it gen z is it men is it women i feel like it must be gen z is it non-binary people uh two-spirit um i don't know i think it's two-spirit i think you're right about that that's a good question though who is using this okay stack dating and also don't yeah gen z oh what is stack dating and why is gen z obsessed with it if you're gen z can you actually tell us if that's a real thing i feel like there's always like a new like alarmist like gen z is doing this dating thing and then it kind of just sounds like how dating has always been yeah you know it's like millennials with avocado
Starting point is 00:07:11 toast it's like we like ate ate it once and people are like well that's why you can't afford a home it's like no y'all are making this a bigger deal than it is maybe that's like shouldn't be so expensive yeah perhaps avocado toast shouldn't taste so good have you considered that brenda okay bitch bitch brenda bitch ass brenda okay stack dating which involves scheduling multiple dates in a short period like just one single day not only does this allow them to get to know various people through a speed dating like technique but it also ensures they're not becoming too invested in one person too soon what the fuck i don't want to have multiple dates in one day that's exhausting yeah and also what
Starting point is 00:07:58 if you like really like someone's company yeah how many like spare you don't leave a little extra time to to like you know hang out longer you know in some in some respects we we used to do this where but not in a day but we would say it was like you were you were spreading out your feelings so it wasn't too weighted in one direction that's one thing i do recommend like having multiple dates with different people while you're dating because then you don't put all of your like you know dating anxieties onto one person it kind of keeps you like level-headed to have more than one person until you guys get to like the next stage of like okay i really like you let's like date exclusively yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah but in a day yeah a day sounds like a lot that sounds like new
Starting point is 00:08:44 york business you know yeah and do you sleep and do you have a job well if it's gen z they're still youthful they still they still are able to like stay up until 4 a.m and then like wake up and work at nine or something you know i do remember those days and you would be tired but then you'd like go party yeah you see work i i didn't sleep last night y'all i know that probably comes as a surprise to you if you've listened to this podcast at all because i'm typically such a great sleeper i'm just i'm being sarcastic i never sleep but last night i didn't sleep and today has been a complete fucking wash i don't know how y'all do it i mean i do because you're young your cells are still regenerating when you're tired but fuck anyway okay what was the last one okay and the
Starting point is 00:09:27 last one is vibe dating that just feels like that just sounds like dating yeah like you just date them based off of their vibes which just sounds like dating vibe dating because i'm also thinking about like the term vibe coding which i think is just like you use chat gpt and like listen to music or something i don't know you know i don't really know what vibe coding is i think it you just go off of vibes i'm gonna just like guess based on how unhinged the first two were i feel like vibe dating is when you change your vibe to fit the scenario like you've changed your vibe based on who who you're trying to date or who you are dating vibe dating it's like well i really want to date a dude that's like really into basketball so i'm gonna like learn a bunch
Starting point is 00:10:12 about basketball i think that that's what vibe dating is interesting well let's find out final answer regis you are being so annoying you have such as a like impressively loud meow and i mean that in a derogatory way good me too i love you okay let's find out what vibe dating is like again vibe dating is gen z's new compatibility test does it actually work the obsession with gen z's dating habits it's all it's all such an enigma to the older gens the opening line is next time you're on a first date don't worry about lifestyle compatibility mutual life goals or shared values just vibe at least that's what the lamest dating trend is asking of you lamest or latest lamest wow latest and lamest it says that's what the latest
Starting point is 00:11:13 and lamest dating trend is asking of you i must have i thought it was a foreign one of them vibe dating is apparently the new answer to all of your romantic woes today instead of taking the time to build a genuine connection with someone who shares your morals and dreams daters daters are being lured by strong shared energy and otherwise they're prioritizing chemistry over compatibility i mean that's like how i did all of my dating when i wasn't trying to find a soulmate yeah i think we know how i think we all know how those types of relationships end what that last sentence says i think that just ends in um fuck it and chuck it as i say dine and dash dating someone dining and dashing let's that's the new phrase yeah let's coin that
Starting point is 00:11:58 term i'm just gonna write a stupid i'm gonna start a uh a satirical blog just coming up with like the latest gen z dating terms yeah just make things up wagon wash and you'll have you'll have to come up with the phrases and then i'll come up with the description toot it and boot it toot it and boot it that was that toot it and boot it you remember that song no toot it and boot it um then i came up with it um can i request really quick that you turn off the fireplace yeah i'm hot gatsby is gonna be really he'll be fine look at him he's passed out well all that being said let me jump into what i've prepared for you so first of all um i looked up like okay what are some of the latest articles about dating trends right now and this cnet article is titled dating app hinge
Starting point is 00:12:53 launches ai prompts to replace boring opening lines uh more than a third of users said the feature made them feel more confident reaching out to matches i feel like that's like when the cops investigate themselves it's like every fucking tech company and i will consider hinge a tech company is trying to like AI-ify their their business yeah so that's what I think Hinge is doing because even though everyone else fucking hates it businesses are all like they've put so many of their chips in the AI bucket that they're like this cannot fail we need to like say we are doing something with AI if we want investor money yeah anyways yeah well there's this app that um like it was a dating app that you had like your own ai bot this was like
Starting point is 00:13:48 early early on in like ai you had your own bot that like would learn all about you and then your bot would talk to somebody else's bot and like clear up a bunch of shit and then you would talk to the person that's literally a black mirror isn't that insane have you seen it's like season one of black mirror yeah and it's one of the ones that isn't sad but yeah but it's like grim the two people that it matches with have their own like experience in the app before it matches them in real life yeah i don't know yeah that was exactly that um so hinge launches an ai powered ai powered tool called combo starters to analyze it analyze a matches profile and generate three personalized opening message suggestions so fucking lazy oh that's what i was thinking too i was like okay
Starting point is 00:14:35 they're just trying to like make it so you don't even have to think like and hinge truly what's the point of even dating if you're not going to try to get to know the other person it benefits hinge and every other dating app to not have people be successful on them unfortunately yeah yeah that's why you can buy six month subscriptions on the app that's designed to be deleted well i also it's like how how is an app like a dating app supposed to make money like yeah everything is ads yeah anyways um the tool aims to replace generic likes with thoughtful messages as a message with a comment rather than just a like is twice as likely to lead to an actual date like okay cool sure but i just don't know if that like come up with something yourself right and
Starting point is 00:15:32 is what's the success rate on the date because if somebody if you've already had if you've had a computer doing the work for you up to that point you're probably not going to be like the most successful in person at some point i feel like at some point these dating apps are going to add ai generated messages to reply back to each other yeah and you just pick it yeah kind of like the predictive text yeah yeah the feature is designed to boost user confidence and engagement with early testing showing over a third of users felt more confident reaching out i feel more confident reaching out because like of course gpt wrote my yeah reply for me um a hinge relationship scientist which that's fuck you i'm sorry fuck you like what no what does that mean yeah what
Starting point is 00:16:21 are your qualifications a hinge relationship scientist advises let them know what caught your eye or mention how their prompt connects to your own life that small effort signals real interest there is an effort though like what do you mean um the ai provides suggestions for users to craft their own message it does not auto send pre-written text oh that doesn't matter though because you're still it doesn't like okay doesn't hit the feature can be turned off okay but also how are you going to know if someone's sending you a fucking ai generated message right um this can be problematic because authenticity and the ai persona problem so like it risks a gap between curated ai assisted first impression and the user's genuine personality and communication
Starting point is 00:17:11 style i do feel like to be fair you risk that anytime you're messaging someone like i remember messaging people and like they're clever and message and then when you meet them in real life like they're duds yeah there's just like no they're not interesting there's no chemistry you're like oh yeah which is also why i kind of minim i started minimizing like what my messages said right i feel like there should be you know like if you turn off your uh red receipts on like instagram you can't see when somebody else has read your message it like turns and same with linkedin it should be a feature like that like you can see when someone's message is ai yeah i feel like you want to well i mean that's part of like one of the things that
Starting point is 00:17:57 i am predicting as like someone who's been working in social media marketing for so long like i essentially think there's going to be two different versions of the internet there's going to be like the business version of the internet where everything is ai and then there's going to be like a personalized experience where everything is like everything that is ai is like blocked from your feed or you like create a very curated version of being online for yourself like aside from just like algorithms uh like for you page algorithm content where it's just like constantly giving you things that it thinks you like and yeah including like ads yeah yeah yeah and it's gonna be more so things that you know are like made by a specific person i think the
Starting point is 00:18:44 niche creator uh like not influencers but like niche creator market is gonna boom yeah yeah anyways i mean that yeah that could be a positive i guess i think it'll be a positive but i do think like it'll be interesting to see what the fuck happens with ai because there's no way all of it's gonna stick around no do you remember the metaverse that was such a fucking embarrassing failure uh how much was i think it was it was either 77 million or 77 billion it was definitely a b he put too much money into that i love josh johnson was talking about um also if y'all haven't listened to josh johnson his comedy he's the fucking best he's a writer for the daily show and he's just amazing but he was talking about how like mark zuckerberg came out like an ai to
Starting point is 00:19:36 announce this and then when he when he announced when he introduced his little like meta character metaverse character had like more sauce than he did in real life it was just like so much more of a normal person it's it's true though it's like these it's like what if we what if sims was like also real life and also like what if an online shopping experience was terrible i had friends that worked at facebook and they used to have to have all of their meetings in the metaverse shut the fuck up that's hilarious yeah isn't that crazy i do think yeah i think some of this stuff is gonna happen on the internet but we'll see hopefully it does suck yeah but i'm just a person that's not for me to determine yeah that's all in robot god's hands this creates an
Starting point is 00:20:22 arms race between profile optimization and ai interoperation rather than fostering organic discovery yeah i mean that's the that's the issue with everything everything's gamified yeah but also it's like okay this is like a little off topic but i just have to tell you because it popped into my head yeah um you know how like people were like kirkifying things like putting charlie kirk's face on everything apparently it had they flooded the servers so much with charlie kirk now it just automatically puts his face on things like in random group settings and shit he's just showing up i am kind of obsessed with that i'm i am kind of obsessed with like people leaning into like an online joke so hard that it's poisoning these yeah stupid robots and that's his
Starting point is 00:21:07 legacy is just like showing up in ai slop i mean i prefer that i prefer that over everyone being like we are charlie that was in mr stuck in mr eliza's head the other day so annoying i hadn't i didn't know about it until frank told me about it like a week ago and now it's have you seen the music video that goes with it no it has like jd vance like singing like that makes me so angry that there's there's a fucking music video an ai music video of course to go with the ai song of course so i feel like i don't know that the internet's about to get real fucking weird especially over the next five years yeah um okay another article that i wanted to discuss um it's a vice article vice loves writing about dating trends especially gen z
Starting point is 00:22:05 dating trends yeah but the title is six new dating trends to watch out for in 2026 so i'm just going to summarize it digital detox dating which is a counter movement to app fatigue where singles seek in-person connections um also they cite it let me look up this person's title real quick because it was fucking ridiculous they're like an ai companion expert once again fuck you what the fuck is an ai companion expert like that's just not a job that we need they work for flirt cam.ai flirt cam that's that was that like that sounds like porn yeah probably flirt cam.ai if if something is becoming porn that's how you know it's just kind of like a flop industry that's so true um which we have also discussed on this podcast that feels like something that
Starting point is 00:23:00 would have an ad before a porn hub video absolutely sick of checking off alone cam.ai real fake bitch a real fake bitch a fake bitch with real tits I'm a fake bitch with real tits it sounds like someone's intro on Jersey Shore I know I'm like I'm the fakest bitch with the realest tits you'll ever meet and then her best friend on the show is I'm the realest bitch with the fakest the deadly duo yeah oh my god i love that um where's my little note the deadly duo with the deadliest duos oh oh shit tit joke you are just you are hitting it um i don't know what that was
Starting point is 00:23:59 ai companionship so the controversial rise of relationships with ai entity entities to fulfill emotional needs on demand so in the article it summarizes it as more of like in addition to your real life dating you'll you you people will use an ai companion to fill the gaps that their partner is not filling right but we've heard we've heard that and like we have talked about before uh that just is like it's not realistic to to just like like your partner is never going to be perfect yeah and neither are you yeah and if you don't know how to like socialize and like accept people's flaws maybe you kind of deserve to be alone yeah i mean it's like it's also this it feels like the same
Starting point is 00:24:54 kind of problem feeding into itself as dating apps are and have been of like well like if this one person doesn't give me everything I need then I can just like go to the next person yeah yeah and now it's idea that you're like constantly just kind of dating someone who is good enough for the time being until you find something better yeah exactly and then now this like AI companionship thing it's like oh like this you know me and my partner like say that their partner is like actually very bad for them but then they're like well i can just get my needs fulfilled with this ai companion like that's that's a problem i can't get my needs fulfilled by this thing that just like always tells me i'm right yeah well something else that i had seen in one of these articles said
Starting point is 00:25:38 that only 16 percent of people consider it cheating like half of the people would think it's not a big deal and then the other half think that it's a problem and then 16 percent of all of them consider it cheating would you consider it cheating it's that's really complicated emotional cheating but they don't consider it sexual cheating like well if it's an ai bot who's to say you're sexting the bot you know yeah so wait so these the 16 of people do consider it emotional cheating yeah then i agree with that because i feel like i would feel the same way if like if my boyfriend was like giving like tens of thousands of dollars to like a cam porn star it makes it a little bit better that it's not a real person but i also think it's highly
Starting point is 00:26:31 concerning well just in terms of like the um like like the what's the word i'm looking for like how real the connection would be it does feel comparable to like you know giving money to like an OnlyFans model that like doesn't know that you really exist you know but they're like I wonder how many OnlyFans models are going to become AI there probably are quite a few already gonna be like dudes making an AI foot model yeah taking all your money that's crazy that's probably already men robbing men yeah well man-on-man crime and there's I bet there's gonna be like some big hitting article that like exposes like some of the most popular only fans creators as ai bots oh yeah or something and it's gonna be like a bunch of men and there's that um
Starting point is 00:27:20 ai actress that like is getting booked in like big motion pictures i don't think she is tilly tilly norwood yeah i don't think she's getting booked in anything really yeah oh that was like wasn't that the whole thing when she came out they're like oh this woman's like coming for your job well they always say shit like that she wasn't actually no no one's gonna actually book an ai actress and i also think that will be like i think anyone any company that books an ai actress is going to lose their customers oh yeah like absolutely i mean seeing ai people i don't even want to call them people ai characters like acting out a scene is so unnerving you either sent it to me or the guy the ai bot that loads a gun yeah at the end just like unprompted yeah i was like that
Starting point is 00:28:14 is very american it is yeah um anyways let's go on to the next point um freedom freedom framed dating a move away from rigid partner checklists and more towards organic attraction this shift is marked by the decline of checklist mentality with people discovering attraction to unexpected places and to your point it sounds like the other vice article that called vibe dating horrible yeah yeah that's exactly that that's the same definition freedom framed dating well i think that's a much more realistic way of dating of being like instead of having like some rigid checklist of like what someone needs to be and if they don't meet all those bullet points then you don't see them again i just think yeah if you like someone and you guys are getting along
Starting point is 00:29:05 and they're not like losers who are abusive or just like shitty partners yeah i don't know why what's wrong with that like just like when i think about it like mr liz and i are very different oh yeah there there are a lot of things that are kind of opposites about us yeah and on paper we probably wouldn't make a lot of sense right but i think you do work yeah i i see it so like people say like opposites attract but i think of it as more like um we balance each other out yeah but that's not always going to be the case when you are dating someone who's very different than you yeah there's something i think we do have a lot in common but there are a lot of things that are very yeah i mean it's the same with me and frank me and frank are so
Starting point is 00:29:48 similar in so many ways and then we could not be more different in other ways it's really interesting and like i don't know i i don't know if i really ever had a checklist but like i have friends that have and i think you had like probably a loose idea of like yeah okay well they need to be nice to me yeah and respect me yeah um and they also need to be funny yeah have a job yeah have a job is like a big one yeah i've dated dudes in the past that have been unemployed like by choice and it is so fucking gross and then they're like and then they were insecure about being unemployed yeah it's like well even if you get any job yeah and you're at least applying yeah that's the thing it's like if you're trying if you're trying to
Starting point is 00:30:32 get a job yeah uh the next one is career compatibility this is kind of like what we were just talking about prioritizing alignment and professional ambition and work-life rhythms to prevent future disconnect as man states if someone works night shifts and you're a morning person that matters you know i this is really interesting you didn't watch this season of love is blind did you no there was a couple on there that um she was she's like a multi-millionaire by like she just like made good business decisions and now she's just like she like runs like a health facility like a like a fitness center i guess um and like and her days are like open and she can play tennis and like you know go to brunch and all this shit and she got engaged to this guy who
Starting point is 00:31:20 has like a normal day job and like a kid and so he has to like worry about what the kid's doing during the day and shit and like she didn't realize how big of an issue that was going to be for her until it was a thing she's like no i want you to like come to brunch with me he's like I literally can't do that like I have a job I have yeah we have entirely different lifestyles wow yeah so I don't know that's just it's interesting because that was like I mean it broke them up spoiler if you haven't watched it yet you're not gonna watch it like we were just like having a job having some kind of career ambition and to me that doesn't mean like you need to love your job to me it just means like you need to be employed yeah and you need to like
Starting point is 00:31:59 i don't know yeah just have your fucking job apply yourself yeah yeah apply yourself enough yeah right you know what i mean pull your weight i think that's what it is i think i think i just need my partner to pull their weight yeah like if someone's yeah if you're if you're unemployed and you're not even trying yeah and you're just like playing video games all day or online shopping yeah with money you don't have i don't know that's a turn off yeah but yeah like i'm saying like have some kind of like uh motivation to take care of yourself as an adult yeah and not expect someone else to do it for you yeah i think that's what a lot of people end up doing like if they can't get a job they won't like get a temporary job yeah yeah i don't know
Starting point is 00:32:58 that's a turn off to me me too um eco dating evaluate evaluating partners based on shared environmental values and sustainable practices um the article emphasizes that values matter more than ever making mismatches like different views on fast fashion a potential deal breaker oh i can i can see that like if i were dating someone who were always buying shit from like clothes from amazon and sheen and shit like that that would be a major turn yeah absolutely well and most of those clothes are plastic they degrade easily and like when you wear them they can't last through many washes and then most of them go to landfills yeah most land most trash in landfills is clothing yeah fashion brands fast fashion brands are the biggest contributor
Starting point is 00:33:55 to waste oh yeah and i mean like the factories that they're coming out of too are contributing you know to like the holes in the ozone and well and not to mention like the people that work there are underpaid overworked yeah like they have terrible working conditions yeah you know like this feels like this whole eco dating and like the one above it of the the career dating just feels like all part of the checklist yeah kind of yeah yeah you know it's like well i think they're all like separate trends like to keep like yeah one person might not have all of these totally but yeah people might be focused on like yeah i don't want to date someone who's super wasteful you know it really bothers me when people don't recycle it's such an easy thing to do i i agree
Starting point is 00:34:40 however most recycling also ends up in landfills but i just like you're the only like really sustainable recyclable material is aluminum the whole thing is like you gotta rinse it out too because if it's not rinsed out they're just gonna end up putting it into a landfill it's just an extra step that you can do and you know they still sort through your trash but it still will probably go through a landfill if it does end up in a landfill at least you did your best to make sure it didn't yeah that's my thing it's like a five second step just fucking recycle and on top of that i'm am gonna say like i'm fucking sick of companies greenwashing and like trying to make it their consumers responsibility to do like the environmentally conscientious thing when they
Starting point is 00:35:23 should be doing the environmentally conscientious thing yeah you should be the one making your products biodegradable and affordable because you can yeah yeah yeah like a lot of uh companies a lot of products will have like they want to kill the planet this bottle is recyclable but you have to take off the tag first and they put it in like itty bitty little text at the bottom and it's like well and people aren't gonna read that they're just gonna throw away the whole thing and then it's just gonna end up in a landfill yeah because they didn't see your fucking one point text on this why can't they have like a return program yeah that incentivizes like getting money back or something yeah mac used to have something like that you could return six um empty like any any
Starting point is 00:36:09 makeup container that's empty i love that so like it could be a makeup pan it could be a lipstick whatever um you could trade in six of those for a free lipstick wow yeah i love to see my mom did that oh um and then the last one on here is solo partnership which is exactly what it sounds like um the validation of self-commitment where individuals invest in personal growth and friendships instead of forcing unsuitable unsuitable relationships okay sure remember when emma watson said she was self-partnered yeah and everybody would clown on her yeah yeah but i think she was um ahead of her time she was she was a trend she was a trailblazer i do think like having a relationship with yourself is very important so i can understand why people would
Starting point is 00:36:58 be prioritizing that but in some ways i'm also wondering how much it just is validating like isolation yeah you know i also maybe it's just because i'm tired today and i haven't taken my night adderall but like this it's annoying to me that those are considered trends you know like self self-partnership it's like that's just taking time to yourself really yeah at the end of the day you know it's not like not everybody that does that is like fully committing to themselves for their life i think the person the type of person who is deciding that is probably someone who got out of a bad relationship or is not very good at choosing partners for themselves yeah i could see them being like i'm i'm i'm all about me partnered
Starting point is 00:37:39 currently yeah mr liz i have a quick question for you um do you think if someone has a relationship with a chatbot or ai is it cheating he says yes only 16 of people surveyed think it's cheating i feel like that low number of people thinking that it's cheating is due to people not wanting to give any sort of credibility to ai as being human well i also wonder if they just haven't thought about it that complexly bye have fun yeah probably not do you think it's cheating yeah okay i was gonna say are you gonna be a defector no i'm just thinking about when we when we were reading like a bunch of different articles about this um someone someone said like they see it as more of like um like a book character that they have a crush on and not
Starting point is 00:38:39 like a real an actual real person so i wonder if it totally depends on like how the person is like are they treating it like a video game or are they actually using this as an emotional yeah outlet well like with the whole like my boyfriend is ai thing and that girl being like oh like casper or whatever like casper like proposed to me on um like on our hike like if i found out that frank was going on a hike with his ai companion i'd be like you're too far gone you know what i mean like and that's cheating one of the craziest things was like one of someone's profile said that they were like polyamorous and I was like are they polyamorous with AI partners oh my god yeah they have a little polycule yeah little anchor partner one of the
Starting point is 00:39:28 downsides or maybe the upsides of having a an AI polycule is the the AI polycule they won't get jealous of each other and I feel like that's half of the appeal of being in a polycule I would probably put them against each other yeah that's i feel like people who are in a polycule they like a little bit of drama absolutely that's why i would i would i would put them against each other i'd be like hey casper is like talking shit about you jefferson you like edit their little code or whatever to be jealous yeah they start like jealous and protective i want some i want bloodshed you know i want i want my ai companions fighting over me i want casper to kill jefferson for my love i want her to be a duel i'm i bet there is an ai polycule yeah and what a phrase what a what a
Starting point is 00:40:20 an exclusively 2025 thing to say it really is that is that is so that's grim ai polycule um was that all you had for me that's all i have well shit i thank you for those absolutely infuriating trends yeah you're welcome also sorry we had so many interruptions with this cranky little chicken you know that's okay he's beeping now i feel like i screamed his head off oh my god i have to talk about this video that i sent liz in the last little bit of this video or video this episode um of this woman who got like some sort of awful threatening comment in her comment section on tiktok and found the dude and drove three hours to him liz also sent me that video really wow these two people know me very well frank thinks that it was staged
Starting point is 00:41:09 i wouldn't be surprised i'm going to choose to believe that it wasn't because a video i sent you was ai and i was like this looks like it's real oh i thought that you sent oh did you send to me to show me that it was ai yeah okay um but yeah no so this woman drove three hours to confront this man about this awful comment that he left her and was like you're either gonna read this typed out apology that i wrote for you or i'm going to tell your wife about your secret grinder account and that would be um a shame wouldn't it how would they know it's a secret grinder account i don't know see that's what it kind of contributes to the like staged yeah aspect of it but i want to believe that it's not also that's such a bad idea to just show up to like some unhinged like
Starting point is 00:41:52 idiot that just like poses vitriol online but i mean thank you for taking a video oh one thing i did want to talk to you about um what are they calling it you know how you can bet on everything now uh not in washington i mean good it should in my opinion online betting should be fucking illegal it's ruining people's lives online betting online gambling all of sports betting online all of it should be yeah illegal straight to jail ai polycules uh believe it or not straight to jail um they so the two biggest ones are call sheet and polymarket and you can bet on whatever i remember one that i heard of uh they bet on if the next time zielinski came to the u.s if he was gonna wear a suit or not and then and then what he wore was so like people were like is it a suit
Starting point is 00:42:50 or not yeah and even i looked at it i was like i don't i can't that's so fucking funny decide um yeah so you can bet on just anything literally anything um and they have rebranded their online gambling scheme as a prediction market oh yeah oh yeah isn't that crazy prediction market branding because now it sounds professional it's just gambling yeah and to me it's just a signal of how fucking bleak things are that people are just like hoping that they can like hit the jackpot on like a big bet yeah about whatever no i know isn't that bananas it's really like they're treating it like it's fucking like wall street you know the prediction market it makes me really sad like bye bye bye i think it was always gonna end like this that's so true i had a dream it would
Starting point is 00:43:44 end like this you know it's really we're living in the strangest time and i think about all the time how weird it's going to be in 100 years i'm glad i won't be around see i want to be i want to know i want to be the oldest bitch i want to be on the grave too i i can't tell you how upset i will be if like when we die if we are like reincarnated i don't want to come back here yeah i know okay i want to go to another universe where i am a witch yeah and i have magic you could be a witch here but i don't have magic okay i i want i want to be making things flow i want to fly on a broom fuck yeah i i don't know yeah i think i maybe i've just been playing too much i was about to say that feels that feels very harry potter but i've always liked witches
Starting point is 00:44:37 ever since i was a kid but the broom is new the quidditch i think i might be a little i do not like being on the broom in the game it's really hard to like navigate yeah it's convenient for like traveling like you can get places faster okay but like navigating it is like a pain in the ass and mr liz was like let me try lo and behold impossible it was difficult for even him men always think they're gonna be very good at gaming my first time i had to beat a boss it was a big troll and i was like i don't know what i'm doing it's telling me to press this button and it's just dodging but i don't know if i'm supposed to be doing a spell or what and then he's like give it to me and then he i was like but you don't know the spells and he just sort of knew
Starting point is 00:45:19 the spells he it's like they're born with it yeah it's it's amazing well the good thing is now i'm learning how to move the camera while i'm moving oh and that's a big part of gaming and he was telling one of his gamer friends he's like oh liz is now learning how to like use the camera while she's like playing and then they were like that's crazy that some people just don't know how to do that okay that's the thing it really feels like you know how like three-year-olds or just automatically know how to use ipads it that's how it feels with boys in video games you know what i wonder okay nothing happened he's like cut the cameras dead ass um i wonder well because it I it's been proven that like you can inherit memories kind of like your genes hold on to
Starting point is 00:46:10 trauma yeah so I'm wondering if there's like something where like the eggs in your body have some sort of like knowledge yeah ancient knowledge of being on an iPad yeah or just yeah if you're some ancient not the tablet your dna has some kind of inherent understanding yeah of how to do something um i was just thinking of that phrase like were the granddaughters of the witches they burned or whatever but it's so embarrassing it really is did you they didn't like burn that many witches well good they burned like three no i mean they killed a lot of them yeah but they didn't burn that many of those that's it's a did they mostly they mostly drowned them because they were like if you if you are a witch you won't drown have
Starting point is 00:47:00 they seen have you seen a monty python in the holy grail yes she's a witch fucking you know how many times i was forced to watch monty python with my you know in a british family growing up a lot but i feel like i should rewatch it yeah that was so cute at the same time well i remember it became very popular in middle school and the boys in the hallway would pretend to be riding a horse because that's what they did in monty python and the holy grail they didn't have a budget for horses the early naruto run and then they had someone behind them doing the horse noise so funny with the coconuts did you watch life of brian no okay you would like it anyway shall we write into us about uh the times you've watched monty python python and the holy grail
Starting point is 00:47:47 yeah and um what your favorite bit is yeah that's a good that's a good um call to action i think so too i'm so hot i'm so tired i'm sweaty i'm i'm speepy together we make sweaty and speepy guess who's who all right do you want to sing uh yeah i do okay i'll let you lead thank you so much we love you oh my god our children oh shit that one this has soul that was beautiful thank you i got lost in the sauce on that one i could see it it was in your eyes i forgot she went somewhere i was yeah yeah no i transferred her night adderall hasn't hit yet it hasn't it hasn't it's gonna be beautiful when it does all right goodbye bye
Starting point is 00:48:40 You're all I want You're all I want
