for their show and the rest of the try guys were like fuck this we we're not riding with it and they like kicked him out and so the way like it came out is that there were like rumors that they were like they were going to kick someone out of the group because they were cheating on their wife and then like as that came out that guy ned he put all of his he turned off all his comments and then like as they do and then people realized like they were like the tri guys were like trying to strategically edit out edit him out from the videos oh so i think that's how it all was put together that is that so i think everyone was gonna find they all knew they were gonna find out yeah right so holy toledo i mentioned it to mr liz i was like did you hear about the try guys

and because he knows more than i do about like that youtube channel and he was like yeah why do people care and i was like i think people are just sick of like men um making a whole brand and personality off of like being married and being a wife guy and then they cheat on their fucking wife like john mulaney so it's just incredible to me how like when women cheat they're like ostracized like remember when kristen stewart was caught with her director when she was dating robert pattinson and that was like the end of her career at the time um but then like john mulaney that like got out of the news real quick the end of her career should have been her acting in twilight it was not good i mean i'm glad it wasn't because she has since become very good but

that was it oh my god i want to watch twilight again it's really having a renaissance the twilight renaissance a lot of things are having a renaissance no kidding cheating for one cheating is a big month for cheating i found out that um one in every 10 people cheats damn and what happens is like either like the other person finds out and they break up or they work through it or no one ever finds out what what do you think the over-under is on adam levine spreading this rumor about the try guys they're like we need to do damage control yeah his pr team's like we got to throw someone else under the bus who who would get a lot of people mad the wife guy easy um what is like the equivalent of like you know how people

problematic dudes in media are like i don't want to get me too'd what is this what would this be called like when you just get caught cheating and like your career is over oh that's a good question um what rhymes with me too the wee woo no that's not it the um we screwed me and the neighbor we screwed i don't want to get we screwed no he's he got we screwed and me too you hear about the he got we screwed it's actually not bad what do you think of the people who they cheat and then they like instantly regret it and then they're like fuck I want to be with my partner for the rest of my life like I fucked up and then they find the partner finds out and breaks up with them how do you feel for the the cheater in this instance I think that it is very selfish having

to hurt someone in order to get to the solution that you needed to get to but I know people make mistakes like I think that both things can be true um being on the receiving end of cheating it's like like i said it's just so easy to just not you know if you don't want to be in a relationship nobody's making it be in a relationship if you're feeling like you want to like fuck the producer then like maybe you should look at what's happening with your marriage and what like ask if monogamy is for you because at the end of the day there's nothing wrong with partnership is was created by the patriarchy like we were supposed to be made to feel like being alone is not okay and yeah and children were meant to be raised in like by community yeah that's why there is

a phrase it takes a village to raise a child because it literally used to but it's it's all become about owning people and that's why i mean women cheat all the time you know like when men are like go are in the military and they're gone for a while that's like a thing that like wives do they cheat on their husbands while they're protecting the country the solution to like not hurting someone is by like adjusting your situation accordingly because it is so fucking easy to not cheat yeah it's so easy i would rather someone have a conversation i would rather a partner have a conversation with me and be like actually it would it would fucking suck if someone was like if someone you were dating was like so i like really want to fuck this person i work with

yeah but if i would want to i mean i wouldn't want to know but i would want to i would want them to break up with me i would want to know if they were like yeah i am like developing feelings and attraction for another person yes and then we can go from there because it's not like i mean most of the time i would assume people aren't like yeah and i like fucking hate my partner now and that's why i'm cheating on them yeah you know yeah i think it's like yeah i still love them but it's like things aren't great right now or whatever it may be yeah and like you've mentioned before like it is like it's normal to like have a connection or be attracted to another person while you're in a relationship but the difference is is like knowing that it's just like attraction

it's not right you don't need to act on it yeah that's the thing is like people I'm sure like people that are listening or people that have cheated in the past are like well it's not easy to not because like you can't you don't just turn off your feelings for other people but it's like okay true and you don't have to act on them you can have an attraction towards someone and recognize that it's not worth it you don't want to risk it for the biscuit exactly it's so easy to not cheat I just don't understand it this recently I mean it really is like a cheating renaissance right now because like we had Adam Levine we had Tino the whole thing on The Bachelorette oh yeah we had the um NBA coach I don't I'm not following that but that's been a whole thing I haven't heard

about that I don't I don't follow sports I will follow cheating in sports though so well I'll send you some links let me know hit me up there was that um and that was a huge thing and like senators were like tweeting about it and stuff it was like a thing and now there's Ned and did I say Adam Levine that was I'm sure I did because that was probably the first one I said but there's just been like a lot of this in the news just the past two weeks yeah it's like what the fuck is happening is it because six planets are in retrograde or is everyone just having more audacity than normal so think about a retrograde as it brings up stuff from the past so there you go be if you're a cheater and you're listening you better be on your toes i've also been seeing

more like it could also just be an algorithm i've been seeing more tiktoks that people are like and here's how i caught my man cheating i love those videos because they're always like so much bad bitch energy like and then i burned down his house honestly taking control of the situation i wouldn't be surprised if i have been cheated on and i know we've talked about this but i don't know how i would react if i found out like in the moment i don't know what i'd do it would be probably kind of scary yeah i feel like it would be and i hope i'm not around if it does no you would you know it's just like i have never acted how how i acted when i found out that i got cheated on and i hadn't and i haven't since then like that was the first time i ever

got that angry and i haven't been angry since then it's just like it it unleashes a demon inside of you the dark passenger comes out is it like that that gif of like that lady looking out the window and like yeah she rips down the curtains i mean can you imagine me like actually yelling at someone and like meaning it no i can't the only time i have heard your voice be loud is out of excitement so i i never get angry enough to yell at someone and i like yelled at him for like two hours outside of my house i've seen you annoyed but i now that i think about it i've never seen you angry it takes a lot so all that to say it would be interesting and i hope that you never have to go through that because i think you would like unlock like another dimension i would turn into

the scarlet witch but you are really good about like you are very intentional about who you date like mr liz is a testament to that like you know he's like i think he is the only person i've intentionally dated and it's been great it's worked out like and it's been i mean like i think we all need that reminder because I have been famously ignoring multiple red flags and it's easy to do that. I mean, it sucks. At the end of the day, it's not easy to do that because it makes everything harder, but it's more work up front to like be intentional about who you date.

For my experiences, it's like it's more work to date someone I'm like not all in about, you know? You get to a certain point though. I think they get on my nerves and I'm just like... um but my toxic trait is I will break up with someone in my head like months before I actually do yeah I have some friends like that like like from growing up that well because then I mean it sucks it's not it's not a good way to go about things but it's because I'm like I'm gonna try I'm gonna like see if we can work on it first but it just never fully improves and then by the time

we do break up I've basically already like done a lot of the healing that while we were in the relationship of a breakup like I've come to terms with like I don't want to be this part with this person yeah I have a friend who she was like the goat at going through breakups like they would break up and she would be like totally fine and I finally asked her how she does it and that's what she said she was like I just hate them before I actually break up with them makes it so much easier she's like I mourn the end of the relationship during the relationship damn yeah that's a way to do it I definitely have done that it's not good but it is a way I didn't do it on purpose yeah you know it's not a conscious thing I have realized recently that

I don't think that I ever want to be with someone until I'm in love with them which is like a really fucked up toxic trait I know no and I mean I'm not saying that like in the future like that's how I've been like that's how I've realistically how long do you think it takes you to fall in love with someone really really fast because I think but this is what I mean is like like the past two guys that I've like liked enough to want to be with I've been in I've been like in love with you know what I know I made a I made a noise at the beginning but I'm actually on board with you there yeah like like it makes I didn't realize that I had been doing that and I don't want that to be the case it's not like I'm the next person that I date I'm gonna be in love with that's like

not what i mean because it sucks but i don't realize you want to be in a relationship with them until you're like i love this person yes do you would you say you love them or you are in love with them i am in love with them it sucks and it's like i think that i can tell that i'm going to fall in love with someone yeah you do get really chaotic like not chaotic but you can tell like you're just very careful and like i can tell you feel chaotic yes because i know how that feels it's a horrible fucking feeling you're like no I love it it's great and I hate it yeah yeah but I was thinking back about when I first started dating my ex that I was with for a long time before we were like officially together the first date we went on I texted my mom afterward and I

was like I'm gonna fall in love with this guy and then I did and it's like I'm realizing I do that shit whenever I go on a date with someone and I'm like I like really have a good time and like it's like really really great and like we click really well my first thought is like like i'm probably gonna fall in love with this person and like i don't like that whenever people are like i don't think i've ever been in love i'm like that sounds so peaceful it sounds so peaceful i would love to be someone that doesn't fall in love easily well buddhists believe that the person that you're supposed to be with like your soulmate or like when you do fall in love it's supposed to feel peaceful it's not supposed to feel chaotic but i wonder if they considered trauma

when they said that we had our 100th episode party on saturday oh boy we don't really need to get into it it was fun it ended up being fun i want to recap um amelia's love story arc so there was a a medical emergency um and we won't talk about that just so that person can have some privacy about it um but there was a medical emergency we had to call 9-1-1 it was very early on in the night too it wasn't anything crazy literally yeah they they had been here like at the party for like 45 minutes and we also it was like maybe six of us at that point it wasn't even big so it was like kind of like these emts and like firefighters probably think they're coming to

like some big house party yep no it's just like six of us hanging out on the roof around a fire pit dressed in disco clothes yeah um and they were waiting for like another ambulance to come because they had like some tool that they needed um so while they were waiting they were like so uh I was like what are you guys celebrating and then um Amelia started explaining like our 100th episode in our podcast and this firefighter was beautiful um i was in panic mode so it wasn't really paying attention um but he was like tall and buff and he had a nice in like an obnoxious way he was like he like took care of himself not in bodybuilder way just in like i have to fight fires sometimes kind of way yes he was very in shape um beautiful mustache

nice mustache you could see that he had a flow under his hat um beautiful yeah and to be fair like honestly all of them were like pretty good looking yes but this one stole the show and i know that because all the straight men were like oh wow like i so many of them were just like i i heard these straight men talking more yeah about this hot firefighter than anyone else including you yeah you were just like yeah he's cute yeah and then you moved because i was also in crisis mode you know i was like there are other things to be paying attention to right now but also like wow this is um a nice little bonus hello he was like talking he was asking about the podcast and like i don't do well talking to someone when there's an audience and we were the

only two talking on the on the roof and then everybody else was like listening to the conversation and so I was like I mean there was like frozen we all didn't really know what to do no yeah so he was like trying to fill the silence yeah like so what's your podcast about he's like yeah very personable and so he and Amelia were like kind of flirting um and having a friendly conversation while i was texting mr liz about the situation at hand but so then amelia uh took to tiktok to try and find this man here's the thing is i usually i usually check for a ring of course he wasn't wearing one because he was working because they're like in machinery i checked for a ring and i checked for a name and i checked for a ring but no name so i went to the

the bowels of the internet to try to find this man I was like I just have to I just have to know if is he married is he does he date women anything and I went through the entire directory for the Seattle fire department and couldn't find him and then but I got very familiarized with all the firefighters in Seattle so huh yeah I like know all of their names and all basically all of them are married um there's like a bunch of photographers that take photos of the fire the firefighters anyway all this to say couldn't find him so I took Liz was like we should we should like um put out like a call to see if anybody can find him and I was like oh my god I'll make a TikTok video why didn't I think of that and so I did and within 24 hours um one of

the firefighters who I knew he was a firefighter because I had gone through the entire fucking directory he was like I drew this like really awful stick did you watch the video I did didn't that look exactly like it was just like it was a stick figure look just like uh-huh and he said he commented he was like the stick figure was spot on that's exactly what he looks like uh he has a wife and a newborn so congratulations and also r.i.p it was the most heartbreaking thing to wake up to i was like man you know his i made a reply video with the sound of silence zooming in really slowly onto my face it's just like so you know i bet his wife is beautiful i hope and probably so great and i hope their newborn is like you know how most newborns

look like little raisins yeah i hope that their newborn looks really cute i bet it does got good genes to work with at least on one half the family so anyway so that was the the arc of who i thought could be mr amelia mr amelia but i guess now i think firefighters are my thing i was telling liz no abort i was telling liz i was watching nightwatch which is a lot of it just focuses on the the um emts in new orleans and they're all like so good with kids and they're all just these like beautiful beautiful men that like really know how to handle like crisis and like i'm kind of a walking crisis so maybe that's why i like them something to think about that was something i really liked about my ex was like he really knew what to do when i was like in a crisis

In your Zoom backgrounds, in your dating profiles, you want to create cues that either answer questions or attract the right people or detract the wrong people. So I believe for dating specifically and creating allergies. So allergies are props that are going to either turn someone on or turn someone off. Call it an allergy cue. An allergy cue is like a cue that people feel strongly about that it's going to turn off the wrong people. So for example, one of my friends was dating forever. She went on so many bad first dates, bad first two or three dates, could not find the right person. I looked all over her pictures. They were all very flattering,

very beautiful. But the problem is, is they were too bland. And one of the problems is she's a vegan that would come up on the first, second date. If you're a vegan, you're either really into that or you're not into that. So I said to her, I bought her a sweatshirt said, if you're not nice to animals, I'll kill you. Okay. That's what the sweatshirt said. That's how she feels. Yeah. She's like, this is so extreme. I was like, I want you to wear it. I want you to look gorgeous. and I want you to wear it in your very first profile picture because it's either going to turn someone on real hardcore or they're going to be like allergy.

I want you to create props that are allergic to your wrong people. I do this shit all the time on my dating profiles. Like, and I, that's the advice I give people too, but I've never called it like allergens. Yeah, like an allergy cue. Yeah. So what would you, like, what are your allergy cues that you set up on your profile? Um, for a while it was like flaunting the podcast

because I was like people should if they're if they're turned off by that they should yeah we don't want them um I am just like my like the videos that I post on my dating profiles are like me being like theatrical and obnoxious because like I want somebody that is like cool with that and if they're turned off by it then great also somebody um messaged me on hinge and was like well you're clearly going to be the funny one in the relationship and I was like that's great because I implode without attention and he never answered and I was like probably not the greatest thing to say but like that's my sense of humor you know like so bye so whenever people are like can you help me with my dating profile like what should I do I'm like just be 100% yourself and

you'll find the people that you're supposed to be with yeah instead of being what you think people will want to like swipe yes on or whatever totally and I think people do this without really realizing it like mr liz with the wednesday adams picture like he wasn't gonna attract someone that thought that that was weird yeah yeah you know i liked it because i was like i do that yeah i do i do dress up like wednesday adams but you know what i mean like i think people do it without realizing they're doing it what are yours have you did you have any on yours when um i'm trying to think i'm i'm trying to remember what was on my dating profile i do remember back in the day when i had tinder my bio was I'm just trying to shake what my mama gave me but I don't know how to shake a deep-rooted

sense of disapproval and if you don't think that's funny so I don't know like you said like I was just myself like I think what ended up working out for me this last time around when I was on dating apps is I was on it I was on them because I was like bored and I wanted to like hook up with people too so I was just trying to have a hot girl summer and do what I thought was interesting and entertaining to me and to me it was like saying shit like that yeah and having funny captions and whatnot and you found somebody that jives with that yeah and you didn't fucking reply to me at all and so you your story has given me so much um like motivation to just like bother them until they respond like the guys that i'm excited about because before i'm like well if
