Starting point is 00:00:00 I would probably get in my butt just for the story. Hey. Hey. We're back. We took a break. We didn't tell anyone. Yeah. But it was Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 00:00:29 it's that one's on me i didn't plan ahead giving thanks i also that's my favorite holiday so i did not mind taking a week off yeah not because of the history break i don't love that i don't love the story of thanksgiving but i do love the food of thanksgiving see i can't even say i really love the food of thanksgiving it has to be done well i think turkey is a very hard thing to execute like a a whole full baked turkey yeah i let's just stick to deli turkey yeah why it's not broken why why why go into making a whole fucking turkey yeah that's so true queen they started serving gravy with turkey because it's so dry is that really why i don't know probably it probably is i i feel like that's true it was my first thanksgiving not with my parents in a very long
Starting point is 00:01:18 time um and frank made it really special he was cooking all day long he made all of my favorite foods he got like my favorite recipe from my mom and made it which was really nice really sweet yeah it was good did you guys do a land acknowledgement we do that's an open question for everybody we do one every every day do you not wow is i know that's i'm fucked up what the fuck i haven't been doing a daily land acknowledgement um no but actually i'm not i'm not you know i'm not mocking the idea of a land acknowledgement i think now it's kind of like a self-aware yes uh joke absolutely yes for sure amongst amongst the leftists yes uh the charlie sheen documentary very good oh interesting highly recommend i'm not surprised there's a documentary
Starting point is 00:02:09 i just we don't have subscriptions to so many different things we just use plex oh have you heard of plex sounds like an ad i haven't heard of plex not sponsored i don't think plex would ever sponsor anything because it's just kind of like one person like hosts a server and like you can share shows and movies and plex is like whatever it's none of our business but it is that's pirating they're going to take over a ship you don't download it you just stream it i don't know much like water much like pirates yeah we keep having uh we keep having to pause because something keeps glitching with our with recording i'm so glad you're wearing the headphones yeah i have to now yeah because this has been happening the last like four weeks in
Starting point is 00:03:01 row you look like a cool dj bitch i'm wearing an arm sling for anyone wondering her rotator cuff is acting up yeah and i wasn't even doing anything cool i i think i just slept on it weird and now it really fucking hurts yeah i i have a pillow cube but because we got a new mattress it's really fucking comfortable and i keep ending up on my back and the pillow cube is just for side sleepers i was actually fucked up we were i was just thinking this i was gonna ask you what's how you like to sleep what side do you sleep on um I can only fall asleep on my left side interesting yeah but then I'll wake up I can nap on my right side but I can't go to sleep at night on my left side I feel like I start out on my right side and then when I start to get real comfortable and
Starting point is 00:03:46 doze off I'll turn over to my left side what is the what's the science of that I've always wondered like why does one side feel better than the other i i have no idea and like i there are some people i met someone who sleeps on her stomach i can't with that that always hurts my stomach are you an infant yeah i can't i can't do that that's also not good for infants to do i mean or maybe they can't sleep i don't really know i don't know i i don't know how infants are supposed to sleep i feel like there's new information like every year about how they're supposed to fall asleep do they sleep on their back do they sleep on their stomach babies can't drink water until they can like eat solid food you like can't give babies water oh my god yeah why anybody
Starting point is 00:04:28 it's they just can't have it i don't know it's like i don't know if their little bodies can't yeah i mean there is an acidity level to water so that's true maybe that has to do with it they just need milk i think we've talked about this on the podcast before but uh we're like the only species that gives birth to animals that like i guess people are animals yeah that are underdeveloped because like most other mammals like their babies are born and they can walk and stuff whoa right away and the reason that is is because humans are bipedal so they stand on two feet and the way that they've developed is like their pelvis is no longer big enough to give birth to like a fully formed skull so that's why babies have soft heads and they're underdeveloped when
Starting point is 00:05:16 you give birth to them fuck yeah that's crazy but if we were on all fours then our pelvises would develop differently and we'd be able to maybe we should start that now for future generations also i don't even think we're technically supposed to give birth lying on our backs we're not it was like you you did research on this for an episode like back in like the tens i believe that like it was like some king that like wanted to see his young come out and that's why we give birth that way yeah like there was such little entertainment back in the day that he was just like all right spread them yeah i guess i want to see the the miracle happen i don't know what television is but this is what this is my television entertaining this is entertainment for me yeah let's all gather
Starting point is 00:05:59 around that's so that's such like a creepy reason for us to do what we do so before the uh the audio stopped working i was talking about the show pluribus it is if you haven't heard of it it's by vince gilligan who wrote and created and directed a lot of breaking bad and better call saul and it is and if you've watched better call saul the main character in it is the woman that played kim ray sanborn so fucking good and it's kind of like an allegory on i don't know if it's an allegory i guess it's an allegory on people think it's about ai and if you watch it through that lens it's really interesting oh so i highly recommend yeah we've heard so many good things about it it's unbelievable that to the list it's so fucking good i was just telling amelia uh maybe
Starting point is 00:06:46 we should have like a segment where i just complain about something that's bothering me but she correctly pointed out that um that's kind of like this whole podcast but if we put a label on it we should call it plizzed off yeah and i think that liz'd off i'm liz'd off yeah the thing that's lizzing me off right now is uh so I've been listening you you all know I love my little fantasy audio audiobooks um I was listening to Quicksilver um so I listened to Quicksilver like last year or something um or like earlier this year and then the second book just came out and that one's called Brimstone and I listened to that one and like it's uh two different voice actors who are narrating it and they do they're so talented they are very good at doing different
Starting point is 00:07:36 voices for each characters they have like one male actor one female actor so they like switch off who does what voices and they do a great job um of having like really distinct character voices and you get like really sucked in and every time i go to reddit to see what other people are saying and like you know i love theorizing about like oh what's this gonna be what's this plot twist and for this one specifically everyone was like complaining about like small little things that I didn't even notice and now you're not care about no not even that I'm like do you bitches have any fun yeah no why are you reading people really love complaining they do especially on reddit yeah and that's why you know I'm complaining right now this is our reddit I just like I do
Starting point is 00:08:21 love fan theorizing and i do that with um uh fourth wing books and i think for that for the most part that fan base really enjoys like theorizing about things but i genuinely really enjoyed um brimstone i thought it was so fun like every chapter um they switched off perspectives between the two main characters which i thought was really fun and then um i can't remember if they did that i don't think they did that in the first book but uh every chapter ended on like a cliffhanger and then it switched to the other person's perspective and they they have something else going on and it just went back and forth and i was like well what's gonna happen next i had a great time listening to it fuck yeah it must be so fun for authors of these books to see people
Starting point is 00:09:09 theorizing about it yeah like they pour so much into it and then like people get so invested that they're like theorizing that's so cool and they call them all by like little nicknames it's usually their initials like um for fourth wing rebecca yaros is the author so people call her ry and then sjm sarah j mass if you know you know she did the uh a court of thorns and roses series with Feyre oh the one where I hate the main character yes yeah I'm actually on another one of her series Throne of Glass um and this one is not so much like it's it's a young adult one so there isn't any like sex stuff oh in it which I actually am very much enjoying sometimes I'm I'm like okay know i guess i'm a fantasy nerd yeah i mean the smut to fantasy pipeline yeah yeah now i'm like
Starting point is 00:10:09 it was all this time i'm inconvenienced by the sex scenes wow what the fuck this is getting in the way of the storyline yeah i need to know what happens action like i'm like all right i'm gonna put this in two times speed so we get through it wow that's crazy really come a long way yeah no kidding yeah yeah yeah you a year ago you were you were deep in like the harry potter smut wild harry popper that's what we call it now i've been playing hogwarts legacy yeah you got it basically free several hours too many hours i i was playing it um during thanksgiving and my family was teasing me about it and i was like i don't care i'm a level 24 witch suck it yeah bitches i get well it i get so like i was playing staying up playing uh harry popper pretty late
Starting point is 00:10:59 we call it harry popper because um there's this guy on tiktok who does impressions of bad bunny and he was like this is my impression if bad bunny was like cast in harry potter and then he's like harry popper so now that's really funny i've seen that guy anyways um i forgot what i was saying it's really fun fuck yeah but i do feel a little bad because jk rowling is a turf whatever i mean yeah fuck jk rowling in a very real way but like i just feel like it's so unfair for like the harry potter like the people that grew up with harry potter and love it so so much to like have to feel bad about loving it now because like she's such a fucked person yeah you know it's separating the art from the artist true yeah if you can separate art from the artist I feel like that's
Starting point is 00:11:54 probably one of the ones that is more acceptable like separating the art from the artist when it comes to Kanye I'm like yeah I have him on do not play on my Spotify you can still listen to R. Kelly because all of the profits from his songs are going to the survivors interesting yeah fun well that's really good which is great because i've had a hard time not listening to ignition that song slaps the remix to ignition hot and fresh out the kitchen that's like the only r kelly song i know i don't think i've listened to any other ones um you have trapped in a closet you've probably heard i mean i know that but i wasn't listening to it um then i'm trapped in the closet what's the one from uh space jam i believe i can fly that one i believe i can touch the sky i think about it
Starting point is 00:12:43 every night and day spread my wings and fly away oh that was beautiful i believe i can so that does remind me of being in kindergarten when space jam came out i fucking loved space jam we watched that movie too many times it's such a fun movie it's so fun we should get together and re-watch it i would love that and then we should watch the lebron james version yes love it yes um speaking of fan theorizing i've gotten like really in deep in the stephen king like lore because i started watching welcome to dairy and you're not the only one i feel like i've been hearing people talking about stephen king a lot yeah well because it's this this new show is like they're releasing it every week on hbo right now and is it max or is it hbo i think he's on the
Starting point is 00:13:31 epstein list stephen king yeah on twitter he like switches up about the epstein files i didn't know that yeah oh my god i would be so fucking disappointed and he writes some kind of inappropriate stuff like didn't he in it didn't he write about like children having sex what yeah i don't know see i don't read this is how i just like stay i just stay kind of neutral on these things i don't like horror oh that's not good that's not but like it's so interesting how he writes these universes they go so fucking deep and like so i've been watching welcome to dairy and i've seen it and then watching like these youtubers that get the episodes early so that they can like share their theories about it on youtube so they'll release them like right after
Starting point is 00:14:15 the episode goes live which is really really cool and like so much is embedded in the show that's happen in like other books of his yeah which is so fucking cool there was another show there was another stephen king based show that i think it was on hbo and it was really good um and it was like the stephen king universe there was like a lot of overlap like so cool um i'm trying to think of i can't remember what it was called but i didn't know that the shining was a stephen king story i actually didn't know that either i didn't know that until welcome to dairy because one of characters has the shining and so like in these fan theories like one of the characters that is in the show is in the movie the shining i was like how did i miss that because we like broke
Starting point is 00:15:00 down that movie in every single film class i've ever taken no clue that it was a stephen king book i i watched the shining on a little tiny dvd player on a bus ride oh my god the little tiny like laptop ones yeah those were so fun so that's when i watched the shining hell yeah anyway can we talk about botox real quick yeah um so i got dow botox which is here and one thing that feels weird i feel like my mouth doesn't move as much it doesn't look like it's not moving as much okay i haven't noticed that but maybe now that you've said it i'll notice it and maybe i get too in my head about it it definitely doesn't look like it's moving less but i feel like my smile is cuter you already had a cute smile thank you but like i love that you feel like that it's called like
Starting point is 00:15:45 happy bow tie i don't know some people call it that because um like it stops you from scowling so that's why i got it because i was like i don't want to be noticing my what are these lines called laugh lines no smile lines something uh oh i see that not the one not these you know what i'm talking about oh i i was like feeling like i looked a little more jowly okay and i was like i don't like that i need to go get my botox re-upped well and i've learned that i think i think yours still looks good i don't think you need to re-up i don't like being able to move my forehead it's the issue um i i think a little bit of movement's good yeah i think it's good and that's also where i got my vitamin d injection i don't really feel that much
Starting point is 00:16:32 no put it in my arm she was like you could put it in your arm or on your in your butt butt cheek and I was like what would be the difference and she's like there really isn't one I was like arm I would probably get in my butt just for the story you know speaking of Botox this is something that I wanted to talk well I wasn't going to talk about it on the podcast I was just going to talk about it with you but I want to talk why not why not broadcast it you know everyone knows everything anyway um i was going through i have this app called picnic not sponsored that like helps you delete photos from your phone like in a fun way and it kind of like i should do that it's really great it's worth i have so many dollars a year it's i've cleared 500 gigabytes out of my phone
Starting point is 00:17:15 just using picnic it's been so great isn't it kind of i feel like i've seen an ad for this or at least someone talking about it where it's kind of like you swipe right or left if you want to keep it yes I would totally do that truly fantastic I need to gamify I need to gamify more of my chores oh yeah that's it it's the only way I can get anything done as if it's gamified but it how I do it every day is like it shows you like on this day all of the photos from like all the way back um and you can delete them that way and yesterday I was going through and there were all of these pictures and videos of me like five years ago that I was so pretty and I remember thinking i was so not pretty and it was like that's right so fucking heartbreaking to look
Starting point is 00:17:57 back yes i'm just like oh my god i think about that all the time like why are we torturing ourselves like this where we're like we feel like we're so ugly and then we like go back and look at these photos and we're like i was so beautiful and i didn't even appreciate it or i was like why am i making myself miserable about how i look yes like it's just not the suffering is not worth it no I don't know it's so sad it's so much easier said than done to be like you need to appreciate like your beauty now or like your youth and beauty I don't know we're we're we're like brainwashed into not liking ourselves yeah because it's profitable right exactly everything is made into a problem to fix and I wish I could undo some of those things in my head I like I don't
Starting point is 00:18:44 know I'm like have I ever really been confident I feel like I have I feel like I have been confident about how i look but i'm like way less confident now it's it's really an uphill battle to be confident as a woman in america it truly is it's exhausting it's incredible whenever i see a confident woman i'm like fuck yeah because like you know that that was not easy like to get to that point what you know when there's women that are actually confident not the ones that are like masquerading as confident which is like a whole other sad yeah people who don't feel threatened by like I don't know not obviously not like they don't feel threatened by like their position in society they don't feel threatened at work like they're very secure in who they are I think that's
Starting point is 00:19:25 true confidence absolutely it's just like not letting how someone else treats you shake your like identity yeah absolutely yeah and like I do feel like there's there was like this big counterculture online of like you know like this is the real me and like I seem really confident but I'm actually like breaking down every day about how I feel and like there's something very like therapeutic about seeing that even though it's sad it's like oh all of us are going through this it's still kind of like oh okay I'm not like a freak for feeling this way yeah but like I was looking at back at these pictures and like I just remember because it wasn't that long like five years ago was not that long ago so I can kind of recall how I felt in those moments and I remember
Starting point is 00:20:08 like i was just like not like whenever i'd get a compliment from anyone i would feel like it was loaded you know or like i was i was just like i just remember feeling like so gross and not just like why didn't i fucking appreciate how i looked then then like yeah but it's so difficult it's not i don't know like i said it's like an uphill battle for us to like actually believe that we are you know how like while we're being told that we are but like i don't know it was just like it was a it was a weird like wake-up call for me last night specifically yeah why it's good to have those reminders yeah um i saw a tweet that i think it went pretty viral like does anything go viral on twitter anymore um but this girl said uh i'm not gonna let big pedophilia convince me 31 is old
Starting point is 00:21:01 and i was a big pedophilia like the b was capitalized and the p was capitalized and i was like no you're so fucking right like because i'm thinking like my parents are in their 60s and they like they look great they're having the time of their lives in retirement like you can't convince me that like 60s is old they're like living their freaking life yeah i mean my parents are both in their 70s and they're both super super yeah my yeah i feel like my dad is younger than me in a lot of ways it's still young and it's like but we've been led to believe the late 70s start to kind of things maybe start to crumble a little bit but yeah i'm curious what will happen with our generation because people are living longer and longer yeah and like but then again the wealth
Starting point is 00:21:44 disparity in this country is like so fucking crippling i i heard today 95 of sales on um black friday were financed like buy now pay later oh no so well i heard today that the average age of home buyers this year 59 59 did you watch this drew gooden video uh yes i did yeah i just i was watching it before you came over that's that is an insane statistic mm-hmm mm-hmm drew gooden makes some fucking great videos yeah he does yeah i was just like so amped and agitated after watching his latest video uh if you guys don't know drew gooden is the guy who said um road work ahead i sure hope it does but now he makes like long for long form youtube content um and his latest video is about how greed is destroying the world and it was a good video and it do be and i think he made a
Starting point is 00:22:45 great point like like when people say i i hate that make america great again is now like this hateful term like the people who say make america great again like they want uh slavery to be legal essentially yeah um they believe some really horrible things but like to me i'm like okay if i were to make america great again i would like i think of like what drew gooden was saying about like companies did used to brag about how well their employees were treated and there was not this huge wealth disparity and um also like products were so much higher quality yeah like yeah everything is crap now yeah it's cheap garbage yeah and that pisses me off it's like impossible to find something that's well made yeah i know i get so angry like why don't we
Starting point is 00:23:42 have like dishwashers that last like 50 years why don't we have because we have the technology for that yeah have you seen the article making its rounds about how like the young people gen z and millennials are killing the phone industry or whatever the fuck because they're not buying a new phone every time it comes out they're using the phone that they have that still works we can't afford it yeah exactly idiots i'm not gonna buy a two thousand dollar phone every year yeah hello like if it still works i'm gonna fucking use it unless and if you're mr liz if your phone doesn't work you'll still use it have you seen his phone no he uh i think his phone fell out of his pocket when he was biking and it is getting worse and worse every day like so far the the like phone
Starting point is 00:24:32 juice in your screen it's like making part of the screen black it's chipped he cut his finger oh yeah that's a real thing yeah i'm like went and and then he looked up how um how much it costs to get the screen replaced on his phone that's really expensive too so um one of our friends has been just like he loves like bargaining on facebook marketplace so he's been trying to get him a new phone especially i think he's like a he's like one of the google phones i don't know which one okay i don't know anything about phones that are apple phones me either but you know what i'm also kind of like maybe we should maybe we should what why do they deserve my brand loyalty because they're the best ones you don't want to learn how to use a new phone that's my issue
Starting point is 00:25:19 whenever i try to use my dad's phone for anything because he has an android i'm like i where am i it's like i've never seen technology before yeah same that's exactly how i feel i'm like i feel 90 years old trying to operate any kind of new technology i do have a lot of respect for for android users for people who never had an iphone and they just like are like trying new phones yeah like good for them you know i have beef with android users and it's only because of like what apple has done to alienate yeah they made it so fucking hard like you can't send android users voice notes no it lowers the quality of videos and images when you try and send it to an android user every group chat that you're in yeah get fucked apple get fucked apple
Starting point is 00:26:04 but i'll still use you i'm still have every kind of product but also i love your like really clean and easy to navigate interface it's really great steve jobs was on something you know not meds i mean and now like they can't come up with any fucking new ideas yeah that i feel like that is also just kind of a reflection of like every corporation right now like late the way late stage capitalism has like happened so quickly yeah it's fucking depressing like there's no new ideas and like these big corporations are shoving ai down everyone's throats about to say that when they like aren't paying attention to what the masses are saying like the masses online do not want ai yeah like and i think there's there's definitely a middle ground where like ai is not
Starting point is 00:26:52 being used like to its full potential for like positive reasons like there are things that it can do that would be greatly beneficial to different industries yeah but now it's just like well let's try and use it to replace people or like let's how can you use it to make you faster at your job so you can do more work and then we don't have to hire and train new young people who have working brains like yeah i know it's wild because people are being laid off right now for not using ai like like aptly you know what i mean it's like they were like the the people making those decisions too don't even know how to do that fucking job so like if you have employees who are like i can't use ai it's not improving my workflow it's not making anything faster like
Starting point is 00:27:41 i and i don't want to yeah i just don't think that's a good enough reason no i agree i think um i think what's what doesn't work is gonna quickly crumble yeah so we'll see should we get into some of my topics yeah let's do it how long have we been talking um i can't see that with breaks like 31 minutes oh and i don't know how easy it will be for you to edit because because of all the breaks certain things will probably be cut off you know that's okay that's that's a later Amelia problem well I'm glad we figured out that it was my chord yeah yeah so you live and you learn as they say um you live you learn you breathe you sound just like her thank you it's one of my favorite impressions to do it's so good I was like
Starting point is 00:28:33 is Alanis my mom listened to a lot of Alanis Morissette I love that is that how you say Atlantis or Alanis I say Alanis I don't know Atlantis Atlantis okay so me I was looking up more um well I was looking up like current trends online around sex and dating and what I was punched in the face with was two phrases and I had made you guess some phrases like submarining and you know yeah there are two more that i need you to guess what they mean and we're going to talk about both of them because they both deserve a conversation i'm gonna try and not be so literal like i was last time what do you think shrekking is shrekking as in swamp shrek uh spoiler it's worse than you think oh no is it like not washing your ass
Starting point is 00:29:29 no it's more when i say worse than you think i mean morally morally shrekking i don't even know i know it's a tough one i don't think i would be able to guess either okay tell me so it's when you date down on purpose because you think the less attractive person will treat you better that's fucking stupid and really really awful yeah like that's just like an awful thing to shoot for yeah and to do that intentionally huh i mean it's a thing that people are like proudly talking about because it's like shrekking imagine like finding like your boyfriend's phone and he's like talking about that on reddit i just have god i have a hard time i saw a woman's post i don't remember if it was on twitter or threads or something and she was like
Starting point is 00:30:15 saying like i try and date men that are like better than me and then in my head i was like well i think that like like she's like i'm a normal girl who wants to date and above or i'm an here's what it was i'm an average girl who wants to date an above average man and i was like well honestly like an average woman is already better than an average man like the average man sucks yeah right yeah the curve is a little different yeah so i'm like no like an above average man is like now on par with an average woman yeah that's so true and again this isn't like any shade to men i think both of us are dating like highly above average men absolutely feel i feel blessed yes me too there's not a day that goes by that i am not thankful and i like i
Starting point is 00:31:05 make sure i tell mr liz regularly like do you know how much i appreciate you i'll remind you every day yeah and truly that's the best the best thing in the world having somebody that you feel the need to tell that how lucky you feel but also i think a lot of men would agree with what you just said about like women women's average is a men's above average yeah did you see that like video of like that guy that's like this is what male friendships are like and he tried to make it as like a haha thing and then he's telling his friends like he like did you know i had like a really bad breakup last year and his friends were like huh and he's like do you know her name we were dating for five years and then they were like oh wait no i don't remember her name and
Starting point is 00:31:51 then he was like that's why i moved because i was so heartbroken and they were like oh shit and i was like that is heartbreaking yeah i know and that's like maybe i'm wrong but that's my perception of the average man yeah like i i don't know and i can i feel like frank's friendships are not like that well you know what this has been a point of contention not in a serious way where we're like fighting about it but like frank will come back from like events with his friends with no tea like none and like i have been really trying hard to train him up on just asking some questions like if somebody breaks up ask what happened yeah i have a hard time getting that information from him and i saw a video of a dude that was like pretending to be sent to hang out with notes
Starting point is 00:32:39 from his girlfriend of what to ask he's like looking yeah he's like what happened are you okay well to me that just shows like a lack of interest in your friendships that's what i thought too but like frank is do they maybe just talk about other stuff yeah he's just like we don't we've just never had those kind of conversations so like we just don't i don't know he's like we care about each other but like we don't ask for details yeah i feel like they're more like damn dude that sucks yeah you okay i sick i don't know i just like i know you and i have talked about this before but like mr liz has sometimes been like worried that because i'm like very independent and i don't see my friends or like participate in an in a hobby where i see my friends as often as he does
Starting point is 00:33:27 so he's like concerned that now he's the center of my social fulfillment you know what i mean yeah um and he's not and I was thinking about it and I was like I wonder why he feels that way sometimes and I like we've talked very openly about it and I was like do I do things that make you feel like that and then he's like well no I just like I'm worried about it sometimes like I don't want all this pressure for me to be like all of your social fulfillment and I was like well I don't really feel like that like I'm not like waiting for you to come home and stuff and then um the more I thought about it I was like I think like just when I see my my friendships with women are so like emotionally fulfilling that like they sustain me for long long periods of time right
Starting point is 00:34:14 especially when I see my college girlfriends like we talk so much about like the deepest like depths of our emotions like yeah I don't know I just I feel like so fulfilled every time I see them and it lasts me until the next time I see them and that's just how I feel in like almost all of my friendships with women it's just like when we talk and see each other it's like nothing no time has gone by and nothing has changed and I don't know if that's how men feel in their friendships I mean yeah I don't know well and I text I text like you I text other friends like all day long right I'm like maybe you don't see that but like I don't know that's also fulfilling for me for sure and yeah I don't know you see I've just noticed like Frank when
Starting point is 00:34:59 we're with his friends they can just like all sit in a room and like just like if there's two of them I love Frank's friends aren't they so great they're so funny they're so fun the friends here I think are always there they could they bounce off of each other really fast but like there he has friends that he's been friends with like lifelong friends they could just be in a room together and not be saying anything and I am so uncomfortable with that like hey yeah I like need to tell me about your deepest secrets because when i'm with my girlfriends like we're always yapping about something yeah and then there's no there's not enough time yeah to get out everything i wanted to think of and talk about and know about and learn yeah you know
Starting point is 00:35:38 and that's why um you know the men of the past uh labeled gossip as a negative thing because women talking has been a dangerous thing in like historically for men information sharing because we like that's how we bond look at what's happening with like people just not believing the victims of like epstein's pedophile ring it's like well we need to see the list i'm like or we could just like believe women did you see that they paid something they paid the i think the justice department a million dollars in overtime for redactions i did see that should be interesting when that comes out anyway there's no way we're gonna get all of that i don't think well i don't think much would change if if it was like a complete unredacted list i really hope
Starting point is 00:36:20 people don't like ease up on it though yeah yeah i would like to see the full truth because i think that um every pedophile should be held accountable agreed agreed um it might ruin the lives of these billionaires oh boohoo yeah i don't fucking care yeah i could literally could not care less what happened to prince andrew was so warranted watching that man's life crumble was so beautiful i would like to see that happen to more people yeah and i don't i don't care who they voted for no no me neither that's we should all stand together i saw this very interesting image um that was like the horseshoe of like political beliefs and they had mom donnie placed kind of in the middle like middle left and then someone shared it because to me i'm like what the fuck and they had kamala as far left
Starting point is 00:37:14 like at the bottom interesting and so it was like mom donnie and bernie sanders like close together and then it was like kamala at the very end and then like trump in the middle and then like i don't remember who else was on the republican side and then someone shared it and they were like this is actually how like a lot of like the modern right thinks and what they believe and i thought that was very fascinating that a lot of like people who are centrist or even republicans view mom donnie as being closer to the center than far left and i think that's like a good representation of how 70 of us agree on like changes we want to see happen but i think the disagreement comes with how would we get there yeah yeah i don't know you're so right interesting
Starting point is 00:38:09 it really is it has been also very fascinating to watch like the mega civil war happen oh my god yeah i'm it's like television and it actually it is it is on television like all right that sounds crazy but then we're all waiting for that there's also like you you also see that on the left of like super far leftists who criticize literally anything good oh yeah for sure like they don't want anything they don't want anything any changes to happen they're just always going to find something to critique I just think the difference is that there's no major left figureheads that are like peeling off like they are on MAGA you know like Marjorie Taylor Greene being like you know so outspoken about that's because the right is way more likely to like do bomb threats and
Starting point is 00:38:55 like swap people and like actually violently harm the people they disagree with yeah yeah whereas I don't really think that's kind of like I would this is kind of crazy like I was thinking about this earlier today. So, um, the other week when I met Amelia to go see Chris red, see his standup on the way there, I was on the bus and this guy who like looked totally normal started screaming at these teenage girls. He was like up in their faces. He was saying he was a Seattle police officer. Um, and like, if I were a bigger dude, like if I was a big dude, I would absolutely be like you need to calm down you need to calm down or I'm calling the police um and instead I like got up and talked to the bus driver I was like there's a guy back there who's like harassing
Starting point is 00:39:43 these teenage girls and he's like I don't know what they're saying what is he saying and I was like he's saying he's a Seattle police officer and that he's gonna kill them and they're being investigated and then um the guy stopped and the two girls moved to the front of the bus and like nothing really happened uh lo and behold this guy is notoriously known in like the northern Seattle area for doing shit like this for harassing teenagers for harassing women assaulting people on their way to work like he's been seen on like very specific bus routes and I was thinking about it I have a taser um I've only like tested it once and it scares the shit out of me it's so it's so loud and like even just thinking about it I'm like would I even feel comfortable using
Starting point is 00:40:30 a taser I wouldn't like it scares me yeah yeah that's a lot of power and I I I don't know I'm like probably I don't know I think I'm uh less woke than some people yeah but like I even just the thought of using my taser on someone if it's warranted scares the fuck out of me absolutely that's the thing with like well you know we should give teachers guns it's like well what do you think they're gonna do with the guns like yeah you're expecting people to just be okay with shooting someone yeah no yeah like and i have my taser next to my bed like in case of an emergency i should probably check and see if it still works yeah i mean charge it up yeah that's not a bad idea i know but then after that i was like okay i need to put my pepper spray back in my
Starting point is 00:41:18 backpack because i hadn't used it for so long it's just so clunky yeah but but after that i was like okay i should i i like need to carry around some sort of self-defense yeah yeah you never know and the fact that this guy so i found i found a subreddit that's like for my neighborhood i shared this with amelia like before i came over i was like holy fuck this is the guy that was on the bus um yeah and all of all of the comments were stories of this guy like doing that exact thing and he's been arrested a bunch of times and just released because the mental hospitals are all full here and he's not mentally competent to be in jail so they just keep placing him back out on the street and it's just i don't know those girls being yelled out of the bus i'm the only
Starting point is 00:42:04 one who did anything and all i did was talk to the bus driver yeah like and then i asked those girls if they were okay yeah I was like are you guys good like that was really scary no one else did anything I did the bare minimum and I feel like everyone should feel comfortable enough to intervene and at least like yeah just intervene you don't need to do anything aggressive but ignoring these things happening when people might be in danger is a huge risk yeah no one's saying that like homeless people like should be euthanized or anything it's just like okay yeah i agree like it fucking sucks how many systems we have that have failed these people yeah but like when you have someone who's being violent like that like think about all of the other homeless people that
Starting point is 00:42:52 they're putting in danger yeah it's just i don't know if you're not doing anything then you're worse in my opinion absolutely i mean that's the that's the whole thing with like there's no nuance in these conversations it's like oh always you you think this guy shouldn't be on the street so you just think all homeless people should be killed it's like what no when did anybody what it sounds like you're saying that yeah i think my taxes should be used better yeah that's what i think uh-huh and i think that the seattle police department doesn't do jack shit like the the powers that be don't fucking do anything so when they don't like what are we doing collectively as a community in a neighborhood to look out for our other neighbors including
Starting point is 00:43:29 other homeless people right there are there are so many homeless people who mind their own business and are just like you know we're all like one piece of bad luck away from being homeless ourselves like I do care about the homeless people in my neighborhood and this guy is a threat to them just as much as he is to me yeah I don't know yeah I'm just like like all it all it would have taken is just like a couple more people on the bus being like hey dude knock it off yeah and no no one wants to do that they just like avert their overt eye contact yeah this is none of my business yeah yeah i know i mean this is also an argument for like reforming the police they're actually called unhoused yeah that's the conversation we need to be having yeah fucking
Starting point is 00:44:12 stupid like you'd rather be right than good it's just it's virtue it's just virtue signaling i saw uh it was a long time ago it was like a short clip of a guy um being like i'm homeless like he had a sign that said homeless and then someone was like actually it's unhoused and then they walked away like that's so funny fucking solves anything that's so funny like unless you're gonna like buy him lunch or give him some money then like shut the fuck up the difference between homeless and unhoused is uh moot yeah yeah anyway anyways we got there from shrekking so i have one more i forgot what we were talking about i have one more phrase to talk to you about the holy hour um what oh we've been talking for 50 minutes okay this is short okay um also it's liz's night
Starting point is 00:45:04 to cook and it's eight o'clock here so we gotta i'm sure mr liz is eating my snacks just like you go home eating his chewing his leg off um okay the the phrase this was a little bit easier to guess what do you think ghost lighting is ghost lighting okay so there's ghosting and then there's gaslighting yeah so maybe people who are like they ghosted but then they try to say like no i didn't ghost you that's exactly right oh my god i nailed it so according to a 2025 piece in men's health ghost lighting describes when someone ghosts you and then returns and tries to rewrite reality acting like you misunderstood what happened which we didn't have a word for that when i was dating but i was ghostly so many fucking times that's a great that's a great
Starting point is 00:45:47 new coined phrase it really really is and it's you know i don't know they're they're naming it one of the newest harmful dating behaviors to watch out for the washington post is saying that i fully believe that people are doing that oh my god yeah i mean the fact that you said it happened to you all the time all the time go sliding they would just fucking disappear and then they would come back and be like no i was just work was crazy well when i stopped replying like yeah it was just because i was busy right when i stopped applying you think i'm not busy blocked you on everything no it never happened but um yeah i just thought that was an interesting uh turn of phrase love that uh the kids these days are so creative yeah they're creative with the
Starting point is 00:46:26 words of how they're being how they're being mistreated yeah and you know if you can you got to make art turn your broken heart and turn it into art i fully believe that yeah honestly like a heartbroken artwork is some of the best absolutely because i know this sounds maybe this sounds like kind of fucked up but like there is something so beautiful about like heartbreak oh yeah i mean we've been saying that it does it is so painful though i think it's because it's kind of like okay you need to grow through this yeah and i think growth is really beautiful and rewarding um but it does fucking suck it really really does but everything all of it's so universal but it's also so isolating all of my favorite things in my life are a result of me getting my heart broken
Starting point is 00:47:13 one of our friends is going through a breakup and i constantly am like i don't know how she's doing it because she she just seems so level-headed about it and i'm like if i were you i'd be going insane yeah no i mean like i'd be slashing this man's tires and like below the surface certainly it must be like a like a duck on water kind of situation i would never shut up about it no um i mean this guy fucking sucks we've been saying that for i was telling mr yeah i do hate him and i was telling mr liz i was like do you think i should like slash his tires or key his car or something like i was half joking and then he i was like i would do it for her and then he's like no you would do it because you hate him and i was like that's true that's so real i would just
Starting point is 00:47:59 what a refrain now i feel like i'm allowed to yeah absolutely yeah i mean hey he would deserve it you know what this is a call to our audience um if you have a terrible ex write in and tell me about it and i will i'm a very good person to talk to if you hate somebody she really is i can co-sign on this and they're ugly and they're short if whenever i'm feeling sad about anything like related to like like another person if i just send liz one text she just and she'll just read them to fucking filth and it's it is instant gratification it makes me feel better so quickly and our friend that's going to the breakup i told her i was like you need to text liz because she will talk so much shit that will make you feel so good i use my powers i try and use my powers for
Starting point is 00:48:46 for good and you do which is just like there it's something that i hate about myself there is something in me that like if I'm mad it's like a seek and destroy missile like I just can if someone is like unkind I can just like immediately identify like their insecurities and say like the meanest possible thing you can think of like yeah it's so great it it just comes out of me it's like something takes over my body and to be fair I will say though like I know I come off as like intense and I've heard that before but like I genuinely it takes so much for me to be very upset at someone or like be very hateful I just for the most part I'm like I'm a pretty happy person yeah like I'm I don't know I I love people I love my friends I try and
Starting point is 00:49:38 treat everybody with kindness because also when you're nice to people like you make their day better like they're more likely to help you like i don't know yeah it's just i i would rather be kind and good yeah but yeah there's something in me i think it's a self-defense mechanism that developed over time or it's just like words can be cutting i used to get so angry that like my eyes would shake i remember you saying that that's crazy luckily that doesn't happen anymore that's so funny yeah if you need someone to be a hater come to me yeah write us write write to us and uh you can even send me their social media profile i won't um i won't share their names or anything but we do need specifics so that she can be as pointed as possible i need to see the things
Starting point is 00:50:26 that they say i need to see who they associate with if i can creep on them the better but she's a heat seeking lizzle that was a play on heat i like that thank you so much do you have another term for me I don't those were the only two which is great because I am running out of steam yeah I've had a long day y'all yeah Amelia has had a really long day I don't know if anybody's gonna see any of the video we've recorded today but you can really tell by looking at me this is this is just something special today um I think that you look really cute today by the way thank you I think that the color of this sweater is a great color on you thank you I just knit it or I crocheted a whole sweater this color so that's good to know yeah i think this this is definitely one of your
Starting point is 00:51:10 your best colors thank you and i gotta say it again the the like light lavender like lilac color thank you that's amelia's freaking color you guys so nice of you it's like it was god created this color because it would look so beautiful on her these are the nicest words you've i've ever heard i can be nice too see she's good with her words folks i can do both extremes i can give you the best compliment you know you should charge on fiverr for this to give people compliments or criticisms yeah compliments and criticisms yeah that would be fun that would be you could charge like 15 a pop i i'm just like not as uh my criticisms are so mean though like but they're not like fun mean yeah like drag queens see that's what people
Starting point is 00:51:56 always wanted me to like roast their dating profiles when i was still doing that and like i don't feel good about that no and like a lot of them were like totally fine and normal and i'm like no that's not what i do yeah i need to are you racist yeah you need to be a bad person yeah you need to be a bad person or have hurt really done some terrible things to my friends right and that's where the motivation comes absolutely so otherwise if they're just an average person where you guys just like it didn't work out i'm sorry i can't help you right so give us some context and then she'll rip yeah give me some context um would you like to sing us out i would my little chiquita banana chiquita banana i don't know what's happening anymore i like that
Starting point is 00:52:36 wait call me that more okay all right it's settled we love you it is always the most favorite the my most favorite part of the day is hearing what comes out of your mouth i'm always i never know what i'm about to do that was beautiful i'm like okay what have i never done no that and that was sorry continue i didn't want to interrupt that was guttural like there was something very like there's a little man inside of me yeah who wants to sing opera yeah it's a little like lizzie mcguire character but it's just like like a fat operatic man yeah and he's bald and he's bald and he's wearing a tuxedo yeah yeah little rose he's a little rose and a little monocle yeah yeah if you're an artist please make
Starting point is 00:53:24 that yeah please make the little fat man on my shoulder i love that so much name um figaro oh i like that that's his name that's his name anyway we love you love you Thank you.
