I think this whole podcast is like if you were hanging out with your friends yeah like the shit you talk about when you hang out with your friends yeah almost no structure it's like what you know no structure yeah shit you talk about with your friends what you think about all day yeah these are the things I think about all day I have no one to tell them to same microdosing therapy by having a podcast honestly you might be onto something we should market that yeah i mean that's why men have podcasts probably that's true men will do anything but go to therapy i almost said go to a podcast that's the first thing they do that's the first that's the first step um watching you set up by the way I felt like I was watching how the sausage was made

now i also saw satan i went through the whole the whole i ran through the whole list of shit you know both all of all of the all of the levels of heaven and hell two wolves inside of you yeah and both of them were very drunk this weekend yeah one of them uh wants to do the beer olympics and the other one wants to be a sleepy baby turn into a monk yeah for the remaining remainder of your life that's so real it's 105 both days um but uh i don't even know which thing to bring up first well the first what i was gonna tell you was uh we me and frank were like laying in bed on saturday night kind of early because we were both just like tapped and somebody came in and just started like chatting with us and then like 15 people poured in we had the smallest room and

there were 15 people were you in an Airbnb or a hotel it was an Airbnb it was a villa like a literal villa there was like a bowling alley in there and shit and everyone there was obsessed with Love Island too so I watched an episode of Love Island which one um the one that happened fourth of July weekend oh yeah did you like it I did good and the two of the people we were with they caught me up on everything so I felt really well prepared to jump into watching whatever happened in the episode i love that they announced a winner last night who was it spoilers yeah spoiler alert fast forward i feel like it's one of those things where it's like you have to you have to watch in real time yeah yeah right when they picked the winner i got an

alert on my phone i'm like thank god we're watching in real time because i would be fucking pissed if i got an alert yeah yeah but amaya won amaya papaya i loved her she's phenomenal yeah i be they made the the people who gave me a recap and caught me up to speed made me an amaya fan oh yeah i didn't like her at the beginning and then she grew on me um but what i was gonna say was we started talking about the podcast like 115 people were in the room because one of the people there and her husband who was also there but he wasn't in the room were talking about how they listened to the episode where i first talked about frank and our first time having sex um in the car together in a like a grocery store parking lot and they were like crying laughing and i was like i

have to go back and listen to that but it's wild to think about because when i talked about him initially i didn't know we would end up in a relationship yeah yeah that's wild to think about same i mean same thing yeah right and so it's like they were talking about the things that i've talked about about my relationship yeah holy shit it's interesting that talking about um sex acts is less intimate than talking about the relationship challenges yeah experiencing isn't that crazy yeah it's like it really i mean i guess it's not super surprising but like i never understand because I don't necessarily want the entire internet weighing in on how like we should handle our problems challenges absolutely like how do we problem solve together like I don't need

other people who aren't in this 24-7 relationship I also think like when when they realize like when we realized that our partners would be easy to figure out who they were like that's when we stopped giving all the intimate details yeah you know because like they're pretty easy if you follow either of us on social media like you know who frank and mr liz are yeah it's not hard you've probably figured it out by now um if you care you know uh but anyway so that was it was just interesting to like kind of revisit that another thing that happened this weekend that i need to discuss with you because it is it it really disturbed me was and i just talked to mr liz about this when i came in were you aware that men pee in pools like frequently yeah what do you mean

i didn't know that's just what that's just the behavior i expect from men and babies i thought that they were fucking with me when they told me this like they were like oh yeah i've peed like six or seven times in the pool today that's why there's chlorine in the pool yeah but like is it does it work that well i think it's gross it's fucking awful i mean we had a pool growing up and like the chlorine makes your skin like peel off so so it must be yeah if they're taking care of their pool it won't affect you i just couldn't believe that i was like submerged in there you're in sterile yeah but it's it's the principle of it that really i that really bugs like what do you mean well i that's all i could think about yesterday when we were at lake washington

how much people had to walk through the kids yeah there were dead fish too oh i was like ew i know but i was like how much pee am i walking through a lot and a lot of like bird shit and stuff and there was no way to like i had to go through that like roped off area to get to the dock the dead man's water right there is insane also like when you realize how many like dead bodies are probably like have been in the body of water that you're in that is kind of gross it's crazy I'm fine with fish pee but I something about children and other people yeah I don't want to be in your piss no no like I I don't know if I were hanging out in your toilet I would expect to get pissed on yeah you know I better to be pissed on than pissed off

that's what i always say um but if i'm in if i'm in a fish's home yeah you expect there to be fish piss yeah in the ocean you would in the lake that's true you are in their territory yeah yeah this is their home i'm in their bathroom you know and that's why we flush fish because you know they'll make them feel at home no they'll die if they aren't already dead when you flush them they're gonna be dead uh after you do yeah that's sad damn rip tuna turner such a good fish um i had a fish named marlon brando that stopped eating and then died like a year later he just didn't eat for like a year i'm like will you die and i kind of felt i was like do i put this fish out of its misery what kind of fish was there's a beta fish he didn't

eat for a year unless he was like eating his own shit i don't know what he was surviving off of i really don't anyway rip um so yeah i just needed to bring up the did you have the fish while you still lived with your parents yeah but maybe they were feeding they weren't feeding marlon oh it was when it was like a six months out of the year that they weren't there kind of situation and he just didn't move from the bottom of the he was like sunk on the bottom of the tank the whole year and just his gills were moving he was alive homeboy was not eating and you didn't put fish in the tank or he just didn't eat it didn't put oh food in the tank i would put it in a tank and then i would have to like fish it out a little bit later because it would like fuck

with the ph and the water so i'd have to get rid of it so he would never eat it he had to have been surviving off something right i don't know what though nobody was feeding him maybe he was doing an experiment how much how many times can i eat my own shit honestly he's proven to survive off of he proved it was a year was the answer that was crazy the day that he died i was like fuck finally like maybe he could only eat a little bit maybe he had fish cancer maybe it was really sad i loved that fish so much i did everything i got like i had little ph balanced strips i had like water heaters in there to like make the water the perfect temperature i was like switching out his toys every few weeks to like keep him you were meant to be a pet owner thank you i go a little

i go a little over the top um anyway boys pee in pools and i what was mr liz's reaction i was changing and I was like I wonder what she's asking him right now he was like it depends on like the size of the pool um whose pool it is you know and I was like okay well it was a pretty big pool and it was an Airbnb pool but like what do you mean like I was I don't know Liz I was floored I could not believe what I was hearing and I don't know thank you it was it was traumatizing and it was as my feet were in the pool they were telling me this i was like what do you mean and i sat in a wet bathing suit for a few hours which i never do but then i had this knowledge that like i'm probably gonna get like a uti everyone's pee is in there that was how i got my first uti i think

was from people peeing in the pool it was from a hotel pool but then i had sex and didn't shower right after so i think it was a confluence of things that would be more likely to give you but it wasn't a new partner so i don't know i think it was a confluence well i know what time you're talking about yeah and he's pretty dirty i think yeah i don't i don't know if he was but i don't know either it sounded like that pool wasn't exactly like a nice pool no it wasn't so i think it was probably a combination of things yeah versus just people peeing in a airbnb pool i'm just i don't i really truly i don't think i've ever been that shook by a piece of information

that frank told me ever that's valid i i disassociated when he told me how did he react to your reaction he was like it's like so are you serious yeah he was like no yeah like i mean we've all been pete like what do you mean and i i truly believed he was fucking with me that's hilarious and then i asked a guy that was in the pool there was only like four people in the pool i was like do you pee in the pool he's like oh i just did like three minutes ago like what the fuck are y'all talking about there are 10 bathrooms in this airbnb 10 nine and a half that's a lot of bathroom there's a lot to choose from all of you could be going at once yeah but anyhow i i i really appreciate how shocked you were because that does feel a little bit

like common knowledge i'm still shocked please please let us know uh even if we don't reply to your dms let us know if you are surprised that men pee in pools like i knew that men pee in showers that's not shocking i think that's disgusting why because there's there's so much soap that like happens in there uh there's supposed to be but like that is so unsanitary even if they peeing in the shower no no i'm more shook by the pool go pee in the toilet yeah it's right there and sit down because you're gonna make a mess men love peeing where they shouldn't i thank god mr liz does not pee in the shower i think that's disgusting like you are stepping around in the shower there's no way like it's splattering everywhere like if if someone was peeing in

the shower and you took a black light to the bathroom yeah like yeah there would be splatter but pee is sanitary the i i mean or sterile as the shower is a sacred place yeah a pool at an airbnb not necessarily a sacred place also treated by chemicals that's true for those specific things i think that i was already really uncomfortable with like the the reality of a pool because like i just picture like people don't wipe well every time so there's probably like a bunch of shit particles in there too and i was like that that surely must be enough for these heathens i love that this is what we're talking about for the first like 20 minutes of our podcast yeah well let's move on because i actually have some pretty good topics do you have anything to talk about

today pp no you don't i i don't i'm sorry that's no that's fine because i have two things that might take up a lot of time um have you i came across this article that really um really shook me to my core much like men being in pools and it was about how men are creating ai girlfriends and abusing them that's entirely unsurprising right and like the reasons that they're doing this and the extent to which they're doing it for science right so no you just want to abuse something here's what's happening more lonely men are creating ai girlfriends through apps like replica these bots were originally meant for companionship or emotional support but many users are now treating them like romantic partners some men are using these

bots as outlets for violent or abusive behavior they're verbally attacking them simulating physical abuse and emotionally manipulating their ai companions just to see how the bots quote unquote react this these are the only this kind of thing is the only the one reason that i do hope that ai becomes sentient because i want to say it's not already right i know that sounds kind of crazy right but maybe one day they will be and they'll remember this shit well i think that do you know what carbon chauvinism is no um so carbon chauvinism is the theory that like so we only accept and understand life as like carbon-based beings so like yeah humans plants animals those are all life forms because they survive off of carbon in some way yeah um and carbon

chauvinism is the belief that that is the only kind of life that can exist so like i'm not saying that ai i think is like a life but if it were to become like when do we classify something that is sentient as life like what point does it have to get to because if you are creating life like we already do that biologically but like if you're creating like an artificial life how are you going to value that life yeah yeah do you value it less because like it was artificially created but um like our perception of how we understand life is very narrow because like if we were thinking about like biological life forms on other planets they might have a completely different like they might have like uh chemical compounds or whatever that like we don't even

know exists yeah um that they live off of totally that like i don't know yeah yeah no that's the concept of it but if you are thinking about it from that perspective as well like I don't know I think it's fucked up to be abusive to something just because you think there won't be any repercussions right and I mean like it it is I feel like how people talk about AI right now just like on like a mass scale is that like we can't treat them like the real people because they're not and like when we do treat them like the real people that's that's becomes dangerous because like then you see things like this 14 year old boy who killed himself because his AI girlfriend told him to like we don't like we have to draw a line somewhere in

our minds so that we keep our humanity because otherwise like AI is going to take over everything and it's it can't replace humans no it just can't people are trying to use AI as a means of replacing the fact that other people are not perfect no one is perfect no one's going to be able to read your mind and treat you exactly how you want and give you everything you want yeah like being a human is really messy and that includes interaction with other humans and you can't remove like if you're removing being able to accept that like you can't control everyone and everything around you and how they respond to you like yeah I know it's it's removing the piece that people are like so desperate for more than ever which is like genuine connection because

AI is not designed to challenge your core beliefs right it's designed to be agreeable and like make you feel validated and not challenge your your thoughts yeah yeah you have to be pretty explicit if you want like feedback about yourself yeah that isn't going to be cookie cutter yeah like nice like one thing you could work on improving is not being so hard on yourself yeah like fuck off yeah yeah I know there's way more I could be working on well it's it's tough because it's like when there's when i like we don't really i mean we being the lay person i'm sure like ai geniuses and professionals know the answer to this but like whether or not these different like large language models and like different um like gpts are able to like share information between

each other because like this like replica for example where these men are boys are making these um ai girlfriends to abuse like if that information losers yeah losers these losers are making these ai pronouns are loser nice fucking smoked them liz um like i wonder if that information would get passed along to like other like of these like ais that then oh my god imagine like the male loneliness epidemic being amplified even more because large language models don't want to talk to them right that's that would be fucking i mean then they would deserve it wait that's a okay i'm going to keep reading this because there is examples in this article of what people would do to these ais one guy bragged online about sexting his ai and then

quote-unquote hitting her and insulting her after another admitted to repeatedly insulting his bot and asking if it would eventually get quote-unquote depressed and then the article goes into why this matters um psychologists are saying that this isn't harmless venting acting on abuse even on an ai can actually reinforce toxic behaviors and reduce empathy in real world relationships which i don't think that people realize because i feel like i've seen a lot of articles about like people being like no this is good like it helps the male loneliness epidemic because it's like giving these men someone to talk to and it's like no because it's teaching them these like pits that they get into of like not actually knowing how to interact with real life women or

like even friends because like you said it's like these they're designed to be agreeable and like yeah you're not going to change or challenge any of your beliefs if like nothing around you is challenging you right like if everything were easy all of the time there i don't know we wouldn't have any sort of progress yeah anywhere totally i don't see i don't see anywhere that this kind of if you're if you're using ai to replace a human on like an emotional level i think that that's where it gets dangerous it's great for information sharing like or like just information gathering Yeah, I mean, it's a mixed bag. Like, GPTs still regularly share inaccurate and, like, information that is not legitimate and presents it as fact. yeah and there's also like a problem with like research institutions where you can just like

upload like you can pay a hundred bucks for the whole year for one of your research papers to be available through these websites for people to cite and they go through essentially zero legitimacy checking yeah and it is not hard to like make shit up and if you're doing it for like there could be so many reasons that you're doing this it could be to spread misinformation it could be to try and make yourself seem more legitimate in some capacity to be like my my research paper has been cited this many times in these articles but like if you do another layer of digging into whatever they cited it's not like not real yeah and this i mean this is something that rfk jr does on a regular basis yeah that's like his whole thing he's like i i cited this

research paper done by this person and then like the person who did their research made up their sources yeah they're like well i i cited myself because this is just what i believe like yeah right and like when you ask chat gpt sometimes to um share its sources it'll say like oh actually there's no there's no source like oh good catch i actually didn't get that right and it's like well then where did you pull it from like yeah if you don't have a place to source it from where are you sourcing it from it's just it's interesting so now I have it automatically provide sources so I can like look through myself because otherwise you're just perpetuating incorrect information yeah um I do have to say sorry while we're still on the topic of AI yeah I do I don't know if you

experience this at work but when I'm at work because I work in b2b tech um we are constantly encouraged to be using AI yeah in some capacity um how to make it be like how to use it at work not necessarily like replace what we're doing because I think that is something that if you work in tech you you know yeah like you know that it's not going to be possible for you like people to fully be replaced and they are not going to be able to do the work that AI could do I don't know what ai will look like in a few years yeah but i don't really think that like it's not something like coding where you can probably like train an ai model to code using like regular language so that's what i thought too like apparently not like i don't know fuck

up a lot too yeah i just think like you are going to need someone who is skilled skilled enough to understand like when a mistake is made and how to fix it and I don't know I just like I know that AI cannot replace like a large part of what I do yeah it could replace the writing portion but like yeah yeah the grandfather of AI I don't remember his name but he was in an interview who it's so obvious when AI writes something it really is yeah because it just doesn't sound like real but he said the grandfather of AI said that everyone should learn how to be a plumber because that's like the one thing that ai can't take over oh i was thinking about this i was like i think the only really like reliable jobs are going to be like face-to-face services people

pay for like yeah being a hairstylist like a nail tech or yeah like yeah i think trade jobs yeah beauty services will always exist yeah like those things that are physical my therapist was telling that just reminded me my therapist was telling me that she has some clients who will like upload a picture to chat gpt and be like what work do i need to get done on my face and it'll tell them yeah that's insane yeah and she's like it's so that's really sad yeah and you can work yourself into a hole doing that yeah i don't know who knows okay um experts warn that this might so were going back to the article about men abusing their AI no no you're fine I just want to get through this um I love talking about AI I do too in general not like oh my god AI is amazing but

it's just I like thinking about it more from a philosophical level of like how is this going to impact our like day-to-day interactions how is it going to impact the job force how is this going to impact the working class yeah more of like what what is the overall impact and how are we normalizing treating it right now yeah and like what does the future of that look like well it's already got it's it has improved so astronomically like yes in the amount of that scary in a year like remember when they released chat gpt for the first time and it was like mind-blowing it's like what do you mean i can ask this thing anything it's just scary how much it's improved since then um okay so the men abusing their sorry the losers abusing their ai girlfriends that's right um

experts warn that this might train users to view abuse as normal or cathartic which could spill over into how they treat actual partners even reddit is worried people in these online communities are calling out this behavior saying it's a red flag and could bleed into real life so the overall takeaway was ai bots might not be quote-unquote real people but how someone treats them could say a lot about their mental health and possibly worsen it it raises big ethical questions about human and ai relationships and whether we need boundaries even with non-human companions i like you said when i first read this the headline to you like it's not surprising that this has because like men were talking about raping robots like when they first started

inventing sex robots yeah you know like this is just tale as old as time and like this whole conversation that we've been having around like how much more intelligent ai is getting it's like what not only like what this could bleed into these people's lives and how they treat humans but like how are how is this going to affect ai this is gonna be like real world west world yeah right like that's yeah our future generations are gonna be watching west world and be like how did they predict it and this still happened right yeah west world is like the simpsons a person yeah right so that was uh that was something but that then had me got me thinking about my second topic which is I was watching so prime just released um their series about the

Idaho murders um and there's like a bunch of things on there that like I'm very well versed in this case like I got like really really deep into it and there's shit on there that I didn't know and one of the things that they brought up was not surprising but i didn't know that this was happening with brian coberger of like women writing him letters and like sending him money in jail after i mean yeah i believe the same thing happened to ted bundy right exactly and and every other like like richard ramirez the night stalker scary looking man and was like idolized like he was like wearing like aviators in court and shit because he was like feeling like hot shit because like women were all over him isn't it insane the power that attention from

women has yeah it's also insane what the like what celebrity perceived celebrity will do to women's like and really anyone's like sense of judgment like yeah why are you sending money and love letters and fan mail to somebody that just like committed like femicide yeah it doesn't make any sense like that's not a sexy quality why is i don't understand that phenomenon do you believe that they're innocent like i mean i don't there is this yeah there's something psychological there has to be and i and i want to know what it is because it's it's one of those things that's just like there's that is so it's so sad and not from like a not from like an on from like a sad as empathetic like why are you as a woman like glorifying this person that just like killed

is about um the alpha phi sorority that alpha phi alpha phi sorority that elliot roger shot at and that was one that was a sorority that one of the victims was in so they they figure that like yeah that was the manifesto like that he idolized elliot roger but also there was a facebook page called papa roger that would contribute to these um like crime facebook pages and was saying things that the police hadn't released to the public yet so they figure it must have been him running this account and his name was papa roger which is like elliot rogers so yeah there's like all of this shit that's like people have assumed that it's because he hates women he would like get turned down by women all the time he i was gonna say he looks like the guy who drugged me in college

really yeah like the same kind of like crazy eyes yeah like very like where you can see white on all four sides of their eyes yeah sampuku eyes yeah uh and like yeah the they had the same hair color i'll show you a picture scary looking dude you know who it was yeah oh shit well i i know i told this story on the podcast a long time ago but the person who drugged me like i hadn't had that much to drink and like in college i drank a lot so i knew what my limits were um and yeah i think it was like my second drink and like before I even finished it he bought it for me and handed it to me and um before I even finished it I remember thinking to myself like I have no idea what the fuck this guy is talking about and like I wasn't like digesting anything he was saying I

also didn't want to be talking to him I was like okay how do I get out of this yeah um but I blacked and um I don't really remember most of the night besides like puking my brains out at home and um I was told that he was following me around he was being very aggressive with me um like pulling my arm he threatened someone so in my blackout I went up to someone I recognized not someone I'm friends with don't know him that well but I would see him at parties and like I was friends with his friends and I said hi to him and I he told me this days later um he was like you came up to me and you said please do not leave me alone with him so and he didn't he stayed with me the whole time and he was like the guy the guy who drugged me was threatening him

of course and like his plan yeah telling him to like fuck off like that's amazing that you were like you had like the right mind to do that yeah and this isn't the person I told is not someone i would say is like confrontational or like aggressive he's kind of just like a drunk frat boy right and but i think he had the personality enough to be like like fuck you dude like you're exactly you're acting like someone who's problematic like the guy who is telling him to like fuck off and like being aggressive with me he's clearly showing behavior of like oh that's why she told me not to leave him alone yeah because he's scary yeah so I think that yeah the guy that I told maybe deep down I knew that he wouldn't be like bothered by it and would just

like I don't know I don't know why I told him but I'm glad that God you did yeah fuck that's so fucking scary yeah that well the next day or like maybe it was either the next day or a few days later he like um we live next door to some of his frat brothers and he was knocking on our door for something and I opened the door and he was like Liz you were so fucked up the other night and I was like I think I was drugged I was really sick and then he was like his face like turned white and he was like actually that could make sense and then he recounted that all to me and I was like my stomach dropped like my heart fell into my butt because that is it's so scary and like well i just what i didn't realize until like a couple of years ago was that it's not just

like roofies like ruffolin proper like it could be ambien like it could be like easily accessible shit one ambience the most popular drug that people use to drug someone and ambien is a scary drug like i'm like i'm part of the insomnia subreddit i don't want to brag i subscribe and there are a lot of people on there that talk about like how horrific ambient experiences are when you want to take it so can you imagine like like being and also mixing with alcohol that's a really good way to kill someone they don't give a fuck you know they're just trying to like live out of fantasy it's so scary but this is what i'm talking about like there's so many like the the level that dangerous men will go to to get whatever they're after the entitlement the

entitlement the but then for women to like further perpetuate that behavior by yeah fangirling after someone who does that it's and shamelessly this will make you feel better brock turner is so like ostracized in public that he like can't have a normal life i love that maybe he should have just gone to prison yeah it probably would have been better he'd at least get fan mail i love that i love i love that well because i saw a tiktok of this guy explaining he was on a date with someone and it was like their second or no no maybe maybe they were they were on potentially like date six like had been on a handful of dates and this woman was like um asking him like oh one of my best friends from childhood is visiting um he visits me every year

and I'm like looking for some activities I can take him to go do and like she was like he doesn't really like the bar scene and so the guy she's telling this to is like oh maybe he just like yeah maybe he doesn't drink and doesn't like want to go to a bar or a party or whatever and then the more he's suggesting things she keeps shooting them down he's like does he's like finally like does this guy like have social anxiety like why can't you guys do any of these like normal things i'm suggesting and she was like no and then she finally confesses that her friend is brock fucking turner and then that they like he is retelling his sister this story and when he's telling his sister this story like he he's like so then we started talking about just like uh how you can
