Starting point is 00:00:00 real talk real talk real talk real talk hello and welcome to the Hope Potline I hope everybody is having a great Wednesday happy hump day And that means not like what Talia thinks because Talia just went, oh.
Starting point is 00:00:34 I was not expecting that word. I didn't know what was hump. That's like going over the hump. Like the hump of the week. Like a hill. Right. What else do you think it is? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:43 Please tell me. No, I know. Like a camel hump. Right. Well, not really. Yeah, like that. It's like Monday is at the bottom of the hill. Wednesday you're reaching the tip and you're going down.
Starting point is 00:00:58 Everything is like. Talk about this. Vanessa is very uncomfortable right now. I see, I see, I see. Yeah, please get your mind out of the gutter, Talia. Exactly, Talia. No, why. I hope your mother's watching right now.
Starting point is 00:01:13 She would love it. Especially since you're dating, my son. God bless. True that. All righty. Okay. Didn't mean to go in that direction, but since we did, it's too late now. So I am, okay, first of all, I have a burn on my neck.
Starting point is 00:01:37 It's not a hickie for everybody. Because people have been, I have asked that, including my husband. Including your husband. What happened you in? He would. He would. Yeah. What happened?
Starting point is 00:01:54 It was from the girls' gun club. on Saturday. Oh, no way. If you weren't there, then you missed it. You did miss it. Yeah. I know you did. I did miss it.
Starting point is 00:02:06 That's a bad one. It's a bad one. That is bad. I got a gun casing. Oh, my gosh. It burnt my back. Oh, my gosh. I got three burns.
Starting point is 00:02:15 Listen, the girls' gun club isn't for the week at heart. No, definitely not. I, well, I don't know if I was, I didn't know what to wear, to be honest with you. So I wore something in case I was cold. Fair. But, like, had a taut neck. Like, you could tighten it, but apparently not good enough because that casing sat right inside. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:02:38 Like the edge of my, yeah, I felt it. I was like, well, that something feels hot. That doesn't feel good. Right. And it keeps getting hotter. Like, what is? I literally sat there for probably 20 seconds. No.
Starting point is 00:02:51 No. Oh. Yeah, it did. That's a long time. Because I'm stupid. It brands it you. It did. She's branded now.
Starting point is 00:02:58 I'm that stupid. I did not realize it was a casing. But then after the next time I did, I was like, I know what that is. I'm getting rid of it out of my shirt right now. Oh my gosh. Yikes. So two times. Two times.
Starting point is 00:03:11 Actually three. I wore spaghetti strap while I went shooting. You what? I wore a little spaghetti strap when I went shooting. You're wild. You are. I didn't know. Yeah, you're not supposed to wear that apparently.
Starting point is 00:03:22 Yeah, I didn't know that either. I don't know. Like they, they had me use this gun that I really liked better than the gun that I used last time. The last one they used was very loud. Okay. I don't like that. Yeah. No.
Starting point is 00:03:37 I can understand that. This one was a silencer. Had a silencer on it. Okay. I did like that. Yeah. I could do that all day long. All day long.
Starting point is 00:03:44 It was like, but the next time we go out is as outside. It's going to be an outdoor range. That one's going to be a blast. But I'm getting really like. Like, I'm not scared anymore. Good. You weren't shaking? No, I wasn't shaking.
Starting point is 00:03:59 The first time I was like shaking like a leaf. I was scared. I like literally, I shouldn't have had that Red Bull before I went. But because normally it doesn't do nothing to me. Red Bulls do nothing. But I was shaking so bad. Poor Travis had to put his hands underneath my thing because I'm like, I'm not going to pass. It's like, thanks, son.
Starting point is 00:04:23 Oh, my gosh. Yeah, literally. Like, I'm intimidated. I know. It's like the C. I respect it. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:31 I respect again. Healthy respect. But then you get more comfortable with it. The more you kind of hang out and do you do it. The more you do it. Yep. Yeah. That's true.
Starting point is 00:04:41 The more you do it, the more comfortable you get. I grew up with them, but I never really. But you didn't. Yeah. I didn't shoot him. I mean, my dad was basically like, don't touch. Okay. Don't go within an inch of your life towards that thing.
Starting point is 00:04:57 He didn't play. And you didn't mess with my dad. Right. I was like, you say don't touch. I'm not touching it. You got it. Yeah. But yeah, did you grow up with guns?
Starting point is 00:05:07 No, I did not. Really? At all. I did. Ever? You had no guns in your house. Not until I got older. Like way older.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Like growing adult. No, we never had guns. I'm in from Massachusetts. Where did you have guns? I had no guns. All my life. In D.C.? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:23 Really? Florida. My dad was a country boy, though. Yeah, my family's not. Like, he had rifles. He had everything. Yeah. But Vanessa, you're in New York.
Starting point is 00:05:34 How did you have guns? So they were not in my house. It was shootouts around me. Oh, my gosh. Drive-bys. Dry-bys. Been there, done that. Wait, what?
Starting point is 00:05:48 Oh, heck yeah. Because I used to go out, D.C. was the murder capital when I lived there. Yeah. And your girl liked to hang out in the murder capital. What? Oh, yeah. I'd hang out in the, and they're not so good areas.
Starting point is 00:06:02 So, wait, were you a part of these hangouts, or you just were in the area during? I just happened to be in the area. I wasn't doing drugs or anything. No. I was the one in the car doing the drive-by. Oh, no. But no, I was ducking. Are you serious?
Starting point is 00:06:16 I was ducking. Oh, yes. I'm dead serious. Oh, my. You hear it in the distance. Like, you got to go down. it wasn't in the distance it actually was driving by oh like literally in the car driving by how old were you um 19 20 21 oh my gosh i wasn't scared i was like duck no lean in that's why you're
Starting point is 00:06:38 afraid of guns it's coming out now the trauma is coming out like yeah i have wait that i have this little hole in my leg. From one, like, when I was, when I was like, I don't know, 7 to 8, something like that, I got a boil on my leg. Okay. And so, but back in the day, you didn't go to the doctor and get them lanced. You lanced him at home, and it was quite painful. Well, I have, like, a scar, and it's like a circular scar, and it looks like a bullet wound.
Starting point is 00:07:09 And it, like, even has an indention. So I told my kids, I got shot. Oh, my God. Do you know what? The drive-by shooting. I used it. People would be like, what happened to your leg? I'm like, I got shot. No.
Starting point is 00:07:21 When I was reading, we do stories and me and Tommy saw it. Oh, wait, like for homeschool. Yeah. You guys can't hear her, but. Do you know what? I have this gnarly scar on my arm from a surgery. Yeah. And back in the day, when someone would ask me, I'd be like, oh, it was a gang fight.
Starting point is 00:07:37 Yeah. There you go. Oh, my gosh. She gets shanked. That's right. She gets shanked. Oh, my gosh. That's right.
Starting point is 00:07:44 Listen Crazy I was like Such a country girl Like tomboy country girl Yeah With like a southern accent Like a southern draw
Starting point is 00:07:59 Until I was like I don't know 11, 12 Because when we moved to D.C. Up in that area Like I got picked on relentlessly Because you're a country You know
Starting point is 00:08:09 Like my clothes were country My The way I talked I was from Polk County. Like, hello. So you sound southern. And I do not sound southern. Norma, guys, you still do.
Starting point is 00:08:26 So I lost that. I got rid of that quick. Because I was like, this is no fun. Yeah. And then you become a city girl. Right. Because 14 years you live there. So, like, you pick up things.
Starting point is 00:08:39 Oh, yeah, of course. Not all good things. Oh, my gosh. But you pick them up. That's true. So then I moved back down. Did you have a nickname in the hood? Because everyone has a nickname in the hood.
Starting point is 00:08:50 Well, they try to call me red. That did not work. That did not go over real well. No. No. Well, you know why red, right? No. Your hair?
Starting point is 00:09:00 No, not because of my hair. Because you had a temper? No. That's what they called. No, well, no. Well, I did, but that's not reason why. Well, like, what they were trying to do, they would say I was mixed.
Starting point is 00:09:12 even though it's all white. A red bone. Yeah, they would try and say, I'm mixed. And I'm like, and I literally would say to my girlfriends, I mean, there's white girls that hung out and stuff like that. But, and I hung out with all, it didn't matter nationalities, but my black girlfriends, like, they tried to call me red. And I was like, I'm calling you red.
Starting point is 00:09:36 Like, you're proud of your blackness. I'm proud of my whiteness. So don't call me no red. Oh, my gosh. That's funny. Like, I don't, you know. Yeah. I guess they thought it was a compliment.
Starting point is 00:09:46 Oh. True. Yeah. Okay. That could have been. My nickname was Snowflake. Oh, my gosh. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:09:54 Okay. Yep. Why is that? Because I was, although I'm also ethnic, I was the only, like, white-skinned person in my high school. Oh. Mm-hmm. So I was a snowflake. So they tried to do the same thing to you.
Starting point is 00:10:11 Yeah. Yep. same same but yeah I was like whatever but here's the thing like for me like when I said no I'm not red I'm white and like when I even said to my girlfriends like you're proud to be black I'm proud to be white like don't change my color they were they net people did not back in the day it wasn't like wait that's like offensive like that's racial or whatever nobody was like that back then no it was it wasn't a big deal like people would be like yeah that's true of course you are like god made you who you are and you should be proud of that not like how dare you we had
Starting point is 00:10:48 thicker skin back then gosh man like everyone's offended now everybody's offended and you like even things you don't think they'd be offended about or you laughed at like there were stupid things that we would all say to each other like they were they were freaking funny yes yeah and now people want to fight you over them it's like that's a joke cry about it like take it down a notch well I saw short just laugh it's okay yeah like oh my gosh for me it's like some of the funniest people that i've ever hung out with were like men that are homosexual like and that i like i had friends guys that were gay and i absolutely loved hanging around them because they were so freaking funny and so much fun to be around and if i wanted like to have a wild freaking fun night i'm going with my black girlfriends like it was
Starting point is 00:11:42 going to be a scene and it was going to be a blast. Yeah. And if I wanted to be very calm and chill, then I was probably going to hang around with white friends. White friends. But then like I had an Egyptian friend. She was really chill and like there's different ethnic groups. Like some of the Vietnamese friends, they're not going to like, they're not going to be, they're not going to be the ones you want to go out with if you really want to have a great time. You want to have a great time. You know who to go with. all right and they were up and ready for it yeah it's just the way it is but you wouldn't know anything about that Vanessa because but Tracy you do because you hung around all different nationalities
Starting point is 00:12:23 in college I did but in high school there was two black people in my entire high school was there any other ethnic groups in your like mine was lots of Asian wait I grew up in the melting pot of the world I was around every single yeah but you didn't party but I didn't party So you wouldn't know. But I knew a ton of different. Did you know what they were doing? Yeah, but you didn't do it with them. I didn't know.
Starting point is 00:12:48 I wasn't unaware. I knew what they were doing. I just didn't participate. Well, then you wouldn't know. Oh, my gosh. You have to be in. Yeah. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:12:57 Yeah, then I don't know. But I did have friends all around the nations, the United Nations. Yeah, it's like if you live in certain areas, it is a melting pot. Yeah. And it is. so much fun. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:12 Like, even like the food. Mm-hmm. Right. I know. It's nothing like it, man. It's very true. I moved down here and I said, what did I do? When I first moved down here because it was pastures and cows and horses and lots of it.
Starting point is 00:13:30 I was like, I moved to the country. I was like, there is no color. I mean, like, I'm used to like olive skin, brown skin, black skin. And like, palest can be Irish like me, freckle face. Like, you just, you moved down here, and not anymore, but you moved down here. And it was like, I literally said, I am in Whiteyville. Right. Like, I'm in big trouble.
Starting point is 00:13:54 Yep. Because when you grow up like that, you don't want that. You, like, you want all of the different culture. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I agree. That is one thing that I miss is walking down the street, which I don't walk down the street
Starting point is 00:14:06 anymore but um walking down the aisles and seeing people that look like me you know like the big curly hair the you know the Puerto Rican people and just like being around my people that yeah that's why when Adalas and Magales come around like yeah I grew up with people that acted like that right and talked like that so I feel like I'm back home yeah yeah I do miss that and what the thing is is like for me too like I had people that were all like that like it's yeah I don't know it's why it's why allowed to move to the country. It is. It is.
Starting point is 00:14:40 It's so true. To live in Whiteyville. Huh? It's not the country anymore, but it's still pretty much Whiteyville. Oh, 100%. Oh, yeah. Yeah. So in some ways, if you go to different, like, if you go into Port Charlotte, that's kind of nice because it's not like that.
Starting point is 00:15:00 But Sarasota, no. And Venice is still the country. in old zies like it's very mature adults which i'm becoming one of them i'm just two years shy of being one of them of being a mature adult yeah it's pretty crazy yeah it is life i can't even believe it's august 13th that's wild it's my parents anniversary today happy anniversary and it's kelly's birthday today happy birthday Kelly i'm getting there i'm getting there i've got a slide for her Okay, shut up, Hope. All right, 15 minutes in.
Starting point is 00:15:39 We've talked about nostalgia for long enough. Okay. Go, Tracy. Okay. All right, if you're on Rumble, hello, hey to everybody that's already said hi. If you have not said hello yet, make sure you say hi to us. We'd love to know who's watching. If you're on YouTube, before you head over to Rumble, make sure you subscribe and leave a little comment for us.
Starting point is 00:15:59 We'd love to know who's on there as well. I've got a bunch of you watching, so we just want to know where you're watching from, and if it's your first time watching and all that stuff, that'd be great to know. And, of course, if you're on Facebook, like, share a comment and then head over to Rumble. And the reason why we always suggest that is because there's a live chat going. We've got a bunch of people over there. And we like to support platforms that don't take away our right to say words that we like to say and freedom of speech because it's America. Isn't it?
Starting point is 00:16:25 There's America, baby. Gulf America. Just kidding. Okay, so audio podcast will also be available later today and TikTok Live. is our new thing that we're doing. So we are available right now on Hey, It's Hope 01. So make sure you're over there. Say hello to her.
Starting point is 00:16:43 And I think that on Black Robe, obviously, if you're not new, Black Robe TV is our own platform. So it's just a thing that we invest in to make sure that if things go crazy again, guess what? We will not be silenced because we'll have our own platform that nobody can touch. So, but Rumble is kind of where we're at right now. It's a great platform to use. and easy to use. And if you pay for it, like you do with YouTube and all that stuff, you don't have to worry about ads.
Starting point is 00:17:09 And sometimes it's nice to invest in something that is, no offense, YouTube, but when you keep giving us warnings, because we're just saying words that are true, you know, Rumble doesn't do that to us. So we really do appreciate that and invest in that. If you have any questions, please send them in. That's the point of the podcast, even though we don't always get two million questions. We do love to answer them,
Starting point is 00:17:30 and so we would love for you to send in questions. Again, if you don't know if they've been answered or not, I will let you know personally in an email. I'll either send you the link to the question being answered, or I will still send it to Hope, and sometimes she wants to re-answer it, add to, or sometimes it's just a different perspective on that same question.
Starting point is 00:17:48 So make sure you do that. And happy birthday to Kellyanne. It's her birthday today. She's 17 years old. Just kidding. She looks like it. Somebody thought she was. No, she is 27 years old today.
Starting point is 00:18:01 Just a newborn baby turning almost 30. it's a few more years happy to have you here we're on instagram as well and we have a merch available so make sure you head over to foundation churchfall dot com and just click shop you'll find everything there um like i was saying before we're on ticot so this is the um actual hope hotline one and newly updated for hope 740 followers she is just cruising along heading for a thousand so if you're not following her on tic talk i'm doing it the heart way she is doing it she's doing the work but look it like 5,700 people watched you say hey what is that true in the middle one oh in the middle one middle one yeah yeah so we're just
Starting point is 00:18:47 you're chugging along and and what are you what's your specialty right now like what do we keep talking to Jen Xers Jen Xers Jen Xers love me and they love it we've been doing name that tune we see eye on many things you do Jen Xers you guys don't get easily offended no I literally I a lot of times you can tell the generation that you're speaking to yeah yes you absolutely it's sad but true yeah very true so yeah so she's over there so if you are on TikTok make sure that you're following um hey it's hope and um we've got Vanessa and me on as well so you can find us there as well and then we've got Talia look at you and I know over 2000 I mean, over 1,000, 1,200.
Starting point is 00:19:36 Yeah, 18, oh, oh, oh, me, yeah, yeah. Yes. I know. I actually have more than that. I haven't updated it. What? What is it? I'm telling you right now.
Starting point is 00:19:44 Let's see. 1232. Woo-woo. Yep. Moving right along. And it's all from that one video. That is nuts. Literally.
Starting point is 00:19:53 It's insane. Every time. Every time. And I still. How many did you get from that one video? As of today, 574 followers. And I have 36,000. views right now so yeah i've went on there for 3 500 views and i think i got 10 followers i know
Starting point is 00:20:08 i know this one was about don't don't worry don't panic nine reasons why and then i gave i just gave bible verses guys but here's the thing okay what's the longest somebody watched how many what's the percentage of somebody who watched the whole thing through um 5.43% watched all the way through the average watch time was 63 seconds so they made it a little over a minute yep and it was and she got that many that's disgusting yeah it was it was five minutes and 37 seconds that was a long one and you got that's disgusting yeah it was disgusting and uh Vanessa how many did you start with like zero okay and when did you start like posting yeah I don't know two months ago look at that 214 yeah Tom here's the thing and you
Starting point is 00:21:02 You don't even post that often. I fixate for like two weeks. And then I'm like on to the next thing. So I need to get more consistent. I know. We know this about you. I know. We know.
Starting point is 00:21:13 We know you go in spurts. Oh, so yeah. We know that you like, you see squirrel. Like, what's the next thing? Next, the next shiny little object. I know. I'm not much better. So.
Starting point is 00:21:26 We know. That's why your best friends. I did try to go live the other day. And apparently on TikTok, you cannot go. alive when you are driving or you'll get in big trouble. And then listen to this. So I told you I had to take a test so I could remove the warning. Yeah. Well, I was a little distracted. So the first time I took the test, I read it wrong. And you failed. And I failed. So then I give you one more chance to take it. And I went to the same question, because it's the same question. They don't change it.
Starting point is 00:21:51 I went to the same question. And I clicked the wrong one again. And I was like, no. Are you kidding me? No. So I had a warning for a day. But I could have removed the warning. and I did not. Oh. I don't even, it was like, is it okay to drive and be on TikTok at the same time? It's something like that, but it was like random questions. Nothing to do with my warning. And then one of, I don't know, it was so stupid.
Starting point is 00:22:14 But they could complicate it, but I was like, oh, oh, I know what they're saying. And then it's okay. You can get it wrong once. You just can't get it wrong the second time. Is it multiple choice? It is two options. It's two options. Two option, guys.
Starting point is 00:22:27 I knew the answer. I just like, my brain was like, my brain was, like my brain was so full. My brain is just full, guys. Thank you. I know. I should have just gave it to Talia. But I was laying down and I was like eating a snack and I was like. Oh my gosh. Oh, my gosh. But anyways, yeah, so it was very pitiful. So yeah, so I'm on TikTok. So was Vanessa and so is Talia. Taya's got a lot. Yeah. I know. I know. I know. Oh, of course. And then we've got these two lovely ladies as well that are on. That's the reason why.
Starting point is 00:23:01 I know. Heather's got her doggy. No, yeah, I'll go back to that. She's got 1,200. I know. She might have a little bit more. This one might be older. I mean, I can't go wrong with the dog.
Starting point is 00:23:11 You can't. Oh, my gosh. And she stays consistent, too. She just posts her videos, and so that's always. Yeah, she's not. She's about as consistent as you are, Tracy. Oh, really? Okay.
Starting point is 00:23:23 I see hers a lot, but it might be older videos. It could be, but she doesn't do it every day. Okay. Yeah. Wait a minute. And who, how, who else? Okay. And Norma and Sarah. And that was it. No. Oh. You just created a new one. Okay. So Pastor Tom, I don't have that one up yet. Pastor Tom has his own TikTok now. But also Fortress Youth is on there too. So you'll be able to find a bunch of them. Once you find us, if you just go and like once you get that, they're going to say like you're friends with. Like Courtney has one. And obviously Kelly Ann has one and stuff. So once you find us, you'll probably find everybody else. But Pastor Tom has one, and so I'm going to put that together very soon so that we can, once it fills up a little bit.
Starting point is 00:24:06 And we want to support him. Get this. She only started him. This is his third day. Yeah, Monday. He's already got like 38 followers and three days. I know. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:24:19 It is crazy. It is. He's at 40 now. Are you kidding me? I would have killed for that. I know. I know. I know.
Starting point is 00:24:28 I know. Oh, man. And it's, like, we're not getting, we don't have any, like, viral video yet. It's just, like, I saw that. Right. And people are still following. So that's a really, really good sign. He has no viral.
Starting point is 00:24:39 No. No, but maybe, like, his fans from the podcast are finding him on TikTok. No, I don't think so. She's, the way she did it, it was very organic. I don't think you did. I don't, like, yeah, I haven't seen to, like, there are some people that I definitely know, but there's. But for the most part. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:56 There's some, yeah, there's some. Like, we have, this is the first time we've advertised it. So his TLP, he has a TLP one too. Yeah, he does. That's the one that gets into trouble. I know. I'm nervous about this one now. I don't think it will be because you guys are going to be super careful.
Starting point is 00:25:12 Hey, listen, if Anthony Mitchell can get away with the things that he says, Tom likely will be able to be just fine. And I think we'll be fine TikTok wise, but I do think it's going to, like people are not going to be happy with some of the stuff he says. Even the norm, like the stuff that we hear, like, once saved old. saved. Like, if even, like, speaks to that. Yeah, but Anthony Mitchell, he says, he's saying the same thing. I know. I know. I mean, people are getting all been out of shape of it. But he also is like waking people up. Yeah. Absolutely worth it. I played, I played Tom 2 this morning. And he was
Starting point is 00:25:47 like, man, I like this guy. I'm like, I know why. He sounds just like you. The one I sent you, he's like, nobody's inviting me to preach. Yeah, I know. I played that one for Tom. And Tom and I started laughing. That's why I sent that to you. I was like, that one's funny. He's doing a a lot of podcasts though like he's a guest he is yeah I've seen him on a few podcasts really yeah interesting yeah that that's if you're if you are on TikTok that's one pastor I would tell you to watch he is freaking killing it it's pastor Anthony Mitchell Philip Anthony Mitchell yeah that's right he's so 2819 church yeah in New York like he's Atlanta that's right Atlanta Georgia that's right he's from New York that's right he's from New York that's what I told Tom I'm like he's from New York
Starting point is 00:26:28 But then he said in the thing he's in Atlanta. Yeah, he's from Queens. Yeah. Is it Queens? Really? Yeah. I didn't know that. I didn't know.
Starting point is 00:26:37 I told Donna, it's like he's from the city part. I don't know like what part. And in October, they're doing a big gathering, October 15th in Atlanta. They're doing. What do you mean they're doing a big gathering? They're going to rent out one of the big theater, or not theaters. stadiums? Thank you.
Starting point is 00:26:57 Really? Mm-hmm. yep that's interesting yeah that's coming our way I'm believing that I do too because that's been prophetically spoken yep so yeah I've never known how it would all happen but you never know how it'll all happen that's the best way yeah and you have no clue yeah exactly well it's so funny because somebody very close to us or to me and to Tom said that they literally had a dream I think it's been two people that are very close to us that they had a dream. And it was worship team and Tom preaching. And it was all in a stadium. Isn't that wild? Very cool. Yeah, that's pretty
Starting point is 00:27:40 wow. I love that too. Let's do it. You heard it here first and it happens. I'll save that. I remember today. Yeah. My parents anniversary, I'll remember that. I'll come back. I'll clip this when we come back. Well, I've got to go to them and say, well, they'll probably be there. I know one of them definitely will be there. Okay. But they'll probably be there being like, I told you. Yeah. And you're like, I know.
Starting point is 00:28:02 I know. Okay, that's awesome that they're doing that. Yep. Good for him, man. He's going to like stir things up because it's right now, nobody's, nobody's preaching like this. Tom has literally thought for so long, like, nobody that, has a name or, like, has any influence is preaching like this. And even he didn't.
Starting point is 00:28:32 This guy didn't either until he hit it big on TikTok. Yeah. It was like just a few years ago. He was like wondering if he was going to make it. Isn't that what you said? Yeah. Yeah. During COVID, right?
Starting point is 00:28:42 Right. COVID. Yeah, COVID was rough for him. Because he closed. That's why I said to Tom. I said his only big negative is he closed for COVID. And I said he paid the price for it. Yep.
Starting point is 00:28:53 But. But. But he's different. He must have repented. because he's seeing a lot of fruit right now. Either he repented or this is the one thing that I thought of is because he's willing to say what nobody else is willing to say. He's willing to say the things that people are,
Starting point is 00:29:11 I mean, people that I love dearly don't even say what he's saying. Yeah. That are preaching. But everybody's got a different, I mean, God calls people to preach different messages. Yeah. Because if we all said the same thing, and people would not listen. Do you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:29:29 I do. So the people that I love that I say don't even say this stuff, that's not, I don't think they would be afraid to say it because they're saying things that are ticking people off left and right. It's just not what God's called them to say. Everybody's got a different message that God's trying to send out there. But I think that that's the reason why God is blessing him so much is because literally he's saying the three-letter word,
Starting point is 00:29:54 which is sin. And ain't nobody saying that. True. Well, I mean, Pastor Rodney and Jonathan are, but, like. For the most part. Pastor Rodney is the only big name out there that's saying it that I even know of. Everybody else doesn't say it. Jesse DuPlanus does.
Starting point is 00:30:12 Okay. I'll take that back. Jesse DuPantis does, yeah. And not a lot of people do, though. Yep, it's hushush. Yeah, it's like a taboo word. It is. Which it shouldn't be because it's in the Bible.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Yeah, and if you don't repent of it. I mean, it costs you everything. True that. It's only one of the biggest words in the whole entire thing. I don't know. So are we good? No. What's next?
Starting point is 00:30:38 Oh, the biggest thing of all. Exactly. Fearless is coming, guys. We are a little over a week away. And so very, very excited. Make sure you're registering for that. FoundationSharefL.com. Click events.
Starting point is 00:30:51 And then this is what the week will look like. We're so excited. So take a screenshot of this or go on to any of our social media. You'll find this or onto the events page as well. So if you need any information, it's over on FoundationChurchFL.com, click shop, event. Listen, if you're struggling with anything and there's a flight that costs less than $200, just come. Like, just trust God. Because if you can come and be in the anointing, especially if, no offense to everybody out there,
Starting point is 00:31:21 but if you're in a dead church and you aren't receiving what you need, why just sit and be okay with that? At some point, you need a little bit of like, you need to do something. So this is three days, guaranteed to be in the anointing because that's the whole point. And you get to listen to preachers preach about really, really, really great topics
Starting point is 00:31:42 about being fearless and then opportunities for prayer and opportunities just to be around like-minded people. There is nothing like, I'm not joking, there's nothing like being around a whole group of women that believe the way that you believe, if you believe the right way. When I walked into Foundation Church during COVID in August, I had been around people that didn't believe the way that I did, and I walk into this tiny little building at the time,
Starting point is 00:32:07 and all these people are worshipping, and nobody cares, nobody's wearing a mask, nobody cares. And I'm like, these are my people. Like, where have you been my whole life? And so you have an opportunity to come to this conference and be around those type of people. so listen sometimes you just got to do the thing you're going to make it work and you've got to show up to these events and then you take it and you run with it when you go home so young women 12 and up are welcome we will not have child care and we will have a breakfast as well that you need to register for so don't forget to do that as well and then is this accurate information hope before I put it up it is but hold on before you go that yes like that middle chick right there magalis yeah I will tell you this both that both of them are
Starting point is 00:32:53 funny, right? But lots of times we, like every day can be super heavy for people. And that's one of the things that I think is great about this weekend is because, like, you are absolutely right. It is so important to be around people who are like-minded and that feel like your people, even if you're only able to be with them, because it kind of like breathes life back into you. but what's also fantastic is when you go to something like this and then you laugh because a lot of times life is so busy and so hectic that we forget the joy of the Lord is our strength amen and this weekend I can promise you because that middle chick right there is going to have you rolling she is funny is all got out and both of those
Starting point is 00:33:50 people are the most real individuals you will ever meet they are genuine they are real and they're very anointed but they are just they're just great people I mean that ministry is a great ministry and I mean they love God and they are going after it and they are doing everything in their power to win as many people to the Lord and make sure people are going to heaven I can't say that a lot about a lot of ministries their their lack of interest in winning the lost is like far superior yeah i know and that's really what we're told the great commission is to win the lost into disciple believers but most most churches today they don't even have altar calls and if they do you don't even know what it
Starting point is 00:34:43 means right so yeah what am i doing true but this this ministry is one that will breathe life back into you and i'm not talking foundation church but i'm saying revival today as well they'll you'll you'll walk out so refreshed yes so happy yeah and like bubbling over with great joy and like you're going to feel like a weight is off of you when you leave i truly believe i do too 100% it's gonna be like being around these type of people it literally is life or death because when you when you're put in a situation where you need to believe for something and you have nobody to stand with you, that's tough. So to come here and to just get refreshed and be able to go, because some of you do have to go home. So to go home and take it with you, it is. It literally can be
Starting point is 00:35:32 life or death. Yeah. And I know it's dramatic, but like the enemy is trying so hard right now to get Christians distracted. And we can't, we can't give them a foothole. We have to just be okay saying, nope, absolutely not, even if it's just us and Jesus. Yep. Agreed. Not today. John 1010. Amen. I mean, it's clear what Satan's purpose is. So let this be like a, like it's stepping off into a new, a new direction. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:03 So, and you're, and like, like I always like to say, it's a, it's a course correction as far as like, like, you're just going to course correct. Yeah. It's super important. But go ahead. Yes, that is accurate. Yeah, last. And so, because. on Friday. We tried to do a podcast one year. We were a little loopy. I didn't even know. Do you remember it?
Starting point is 00:36:25 Yeah, I wasn't sure I was saved or not. I'm like, that is true. That is true. Hope is like, I don't, I might need a salvation message after this one. Heather told me, because I was like questioning my salvation. Heather's like, no, you're saved and I'm like, oh, okay, thank you. Thank you. I was so, so tired. Yeah, it is. It's a great week, but it is. It's a lot. It goes, a lot goes into it. So we will not be meeting on Friday, but don't worry. We will have all of the fearless conference online. And so you can watch it online. But I'm telling you, if you have the opportunity to come, don't let that stop you from coming.
Starting point is 00:37:03 Because it is not, you know this. You know it's not the same as being there. And the connections that you'll make and the friends that you can make, if you put yourself out there, it can be life-changing for you. So at least give it a chance. But yeah, we won't be here on Friday. and I think that's pretty much it. I think that's it. Yeah, there's something to be said about worshiping corporately.
Starting point is 00:37:24 Yes. Like, just, you know, the word's going to change you. But when you get to worship with like-minded people and I'm just, I know I'm prejudged, but our worship team is like, I hear it all the time. I just talk to people this week that are out of state and they're like, your worship is so incredible. I only get to watch it. I don't get to be there, but they're like, man,
Starting point is 00:37:52 can you like please make an album or they call it an album or whatever? Or a CD. Can you do something like that? Yeah. Because it's so good. It is good. They're not lying. I had a friend.
Starting point is 00:38:04 So I was up in Massachusetts to see my family, and they had some friends over from church that I hadn't met yet. And so I went over, introduced myself to them. And she's like, do you go to a foundation church? And I'm like, yeah, that's my home. church and she's like, I listen, I watch every single worship video that you guys put out on Instagram and like, I like every single one of them. And I'm like, oh, how sweet is that? I know. I'm like, I love that. So she, she's a big fan. Yeah. Big fan of the worship. Well, it's so anointed.
Starting point is 00:38:32 It is. I know. Lots of people have huge talent. Yes. And that talent will get you places for sure, but that's performance based. It is. It is. When you cast all that away and you have talent, but then you put the Ointing over that. Like, you can't beat that. And most people care more about talent than they do about anointing. And our girls, I mean, the guys in the band, they play so exceptionally. True. But the girls, and Aaron Hastings, too, but they, I'm telling you, I know them, they're
Starting point is 00:39:08 diligent in making sure they're in their word, they're fasting, they're praying, they're doing the things. because they actually, all of them are leading in worship, but they're actually like vocally leading. So I think it's super powerful. Yeah. Super powerful. But which leads to the first question, which is anointing oil.
Starting point is 00:39:30 Oh, I love anointing oil. I know you do. I know you do. I do. So this one, this question has been around for a really long time. So my apologies for taking so long. But it says, anointed with oil, what is anointing? How would you explain this to a child?
Starting point is 00:39:49 I've seen pastors use anointing oil to lay hands on people. Is it a specific kind of oil? So what I think you're talking about is when you've seen people be anointed with oil. A lot of times people are anointed with oil. When they're being laid hands on for sickness, for healing and things like that, Sometimes, like, if you have a specific need that you want somebody to pray over, the anointing oil comes out. Like some ministries, they anoint with oil every single time.
Starting point is 00:40:27 They pray over people. Like, ours doesn't. Over specific times we do. But, like for the Beloved Conference, you will probably see anointing oil come out for that. Usually when I do something, I do bring out the anointing oil when I pray. Tom does not. Pastor Rodney does not. Jonathan does not.
Starting point is 00:40:51 Adalus does. Mags do. It does. I think maybe it's a girl thing. Maybe it is. I don't know. I prefer it. I personally prefer it.
Starting point is 00:41:01 But I've also prayed a lot of times without it too. So it doesn't really matter. It's more symbolic than it is any. anything else. It's like a water baptism, right? The water is symbolic of being washed away. The old man is dipped into the water and brought up and it's a washing of the way, a washing away of the old man and the new man coming up. So it's just another means of symbolism. them. A lot of times people think that the anointing oil holds the power. It doesn't hold the power. Your faith, the person that's standing with you in agreement, that's really, the Holy Spirit is what holds the power.
Starting point is 00:41:52 And the anointing oil is symbolic of that, of the Holy Spirit. Okay, so let's get into this. Let's see. Let me think. Let me read my notes. Two seconds. Well, okay, so in my notes, it says that when you know it's somebody with oil, it's symbolic of obedience and faith, which I do agree with that. Obviously, because I wrote it. So I obviously agree with that. But the scriptures James 514 through 15 in the New Living translation specifically talked to us about that scripture talks about a lot of people will say unless it's in the word i don't believe it
Starting point is 00:42:39 well here it is in the word it says any are any of you sick you should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you anointing you with oil in the name of the lord such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick and the lord will make you well again um goes back to faith and obedience so um let me just get i a lot of times like um like the stuff that we use i use uh i like the one that uh adalus uses but she gets hers from alta and i like the one and i like her stuff it smells good and i don't know what's in it like frankincense there's different spices that a lot of these things a lot of these anointing oils have in them and i believe the one that I use or Heather gets for me a lot is like the Rose of Sharon or something like that it has it's not real flowery but it's like a rosemary kind of thing do you know what I'm talking about it's like a fragrant oil yeah I think there's some that have had like eucalyptus in them and I love that but it just depends like all anointing oil smells different like when Pastor Rodney came and laid hands on Tom he wanted anointing oil now that
Starting point is 00:43:58 That's the first time I've ever seen him use it. And I'm like, I don't got any here at the house. He's like, you don't have any anointing oil at the house? You know what I grew up with people using for anointing oil? What is it? Olive oil. Yes, virgin olive oil. And it was the purest form.
Starting point is 00:44:14 And it came in a glass bottle. Like, it was, had a gold. Do you know what I'm talking about? Because we grew up in the Pentecostal. I didn't go grow up in Pentecostal holiness. But I grew up in like Assembly of God kind of thing, which is Pentecostals too, but it was a clear bottle with a gold top
Starting point is 00:44:33 and it was virgin olive oil. Like it was like that's what, it didn't have a smell. So that's what I went and got him. I'm like, listen, dude. It works back then. I got like the purest of the pure. And he was like, bring it to me.
Starting point is 00:44:50 It's like, all righty. But a lot of times the anointing oil isn't that it's like, like I said, the anointing oil isn't the thing that causes the healing. It's the symbolism of it. Go ahead, Vanessa. Oh, I was just thinking of the time where for Tracy's birthday. Trying to pull it up. Oh, really? Yes. We, I had a bunch of the girls come over and we, we made our own anointing oil with the exact, not the exact, but with the recipe, there's a recipe in Exodus with the different herbs and spices. And I got all the ingredients and we, I still have it until this day. I think it's like almost two years old at this point. Does it smell good?
Starting point is 00:45:41 This November will be. I don't know if it has a strong scent. It doesn't at all. But it, but it has all the ingredients in it and it's like a gallon jar of oil that we, I mean, it never runs out Literally. And then everyone just gets refills every now and... Oh, my gosh. Yeah. It's true. It was so special because we all like, we all took turns putting in the ingredients and at the very ends we prayed over the oil.
Starting point is 00:46:05 Oh, how sweet is that. And we've used it over the years as we pray over people at Abide. So it's been really... It's special. Yeah. Yeah. It's significant. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:46:15 It's called the King's Oil, the recipe in Exodus. It's what they're, it's special. They used to use, that's what that specific recipe was for kings, to anoint kings. Yeah. Which is what we're going to go into, but a lot of people don't realize that. Like, it's, like, being anointed with oil is very, it's very significant and it's very symbolic. Right. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:46:43 Show me that. Show me this. Yeah. So I don't have a video because I want to do it fast, but this was the big jug. So we got all of the stuff that needed to go in it, like the clove. it and all that kind of stuff. And then we ended up pouring all the oil in at the last moment. So everybody had an opportunity to add to it.
Starting point is 00:46:57 But this is like the jug. It's literally that big. It's like the size of Janelle's head. Oh my gosh. So it's ginormous. Is that seed oil? That's not going to work. No,
Starting point is 00:47:05 I'm just kidding. We got the olive oil. Don't worry. We don't mess around. I'm like, this is my birthday. I want the best of the best. And then Norma got to be involved too. And it was because we're birthday twins.
Starting point is 00:47:16 Yeah, she was there as well. I didn't know you were there. Yes. Why wasn't I present? what I did I was like Norma you know you want to be there with me I know I was like but it's my birthday oh my gosh I think we invited you said no thank you no I mean not I didn't mean why wasn't I present at the event oh why wasn't I present in knowing that she's not there I didn't have her with me because she's an adult good question like where am I I know where were
Starting point is 00:47:46 you not that I didn't want to be there sure yeah but whatever no it was fine i know at the end of the day that day all of us are in like tears i know i know we're like so emotional it wasn't only me it wasn't only i mean yeah no i think normal even loved it like i think normal yeah oh my gosh you cried the whole entire time it was really sweet it was so sweet oh she's such a shocker oh because norma cried oh my gosh I mean, normal, we're next to each other. Yeah, it was fun. I wouldn't have not fit into that crowd.
Starting point is 00:48:23 No, probably not. Whatever, it's Jesus. It would have cried. You would have cried because you would have thought about Jesus. Yeah. And you would have shed a tear. Just one. One solid.
Starting point is 00:48:31 I don't know about that. We put it in the jar. Oh, yes. That's what we missed. My one tear. That's what we need. So we give 100% every time. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:48:47 But I'm an ugly crier, so no. I'm not going to cry. Okay. Oh, man. Some people cry pretty. Yeah. No. There are some people that cry and it's not unattractive.
Starting point is 00:48:58 It's true. I cry and it's unattractive. I'm not good. I'm not good. But I'm not doing it. I know. And then Jare, like, captures it on film. That's true.
Starting point is 00:49:09 Always. Thank you. Not cool. You are. Because she actually looks like she's happy to be at church. That's true. Okay. Everybody else looks like you're happy.
Starting point is 00:49:17 happy to be at church. Like, she's so excited to be here. And everybody else is like... Every Sunday. Like, that's not fun to take a picture of. So sorry. No. We will always take pictures of Vanessa.
Starting point is 00:49:26 If you ever see the video of somebody in, like, not leopard, but what's those, were those, like, they were spotted? Oh, they were leopard. Were they leopard? I thought it was like a cheetah print or something like that. Oh, maybe they were cheetah. I think they were cheetah print. Cheetah print boots and it's stomping.
Starting point is 00:49:46 That's Vanessa's feet. Vanessa's I got that shot. I think it was your I don't think you I think it was totally I mean not to say that cheetah I mean not to say that leopard everybody has that those were very different I think yeah I think they were cheetah stomping on the devil's head I loved it oh my gosh I loved it sign me out he's under my feet yeah all the time it's true I got to remind him on a weekly basis you're under my feet yeah get out of here every all the time truth truth it's interactive oh my gosh we carry on we cannot not we're all we're all over the place today that's okay true we're not the most professional podcast there is what no it's important information we're real
Starting point is 00:50:33 that's what's more important exactly so here's the thing I'm going to read this to you because I made a list what does it represent spiritually so what does the anointing oil represent spiritually it It is the presence of the Holy Spirit. It's a sign that God is near and active. It represents faith, a visible way of saying we believe God can heal. It represents consecration, which is setting the person apart for God's care and healing. So like if you came to Beloved, there might be at the very end where we pray over people and they might be anointed with oil. That's the setting of setting them apart.
Starting point is 00:51:13 not everybody comes up for healing some people come up because of a need and they're believing god to meet that need so it's setting that person apart and believing in having the faith that whatever they're believing for will come to pass but but there it's something powerful because like there's healing like and a lot of people don't realize this if you're wanting healing in your body there's ways of getting it one is faith and belief another way is communion there's healing and communion, the word is very clear about that. And then the oil, there's like, there are different ways and means to stand in faith and believe that what you're praying for shall come to pass. And you don't know what you don't know, right? So if there's things that you feel like God's telling
Starting point is 00:52:04 you to do, you need to step out and do them to receive whatever you're believing for. Unity in prayer is another, which is usually done with multiple believers showing support and spiritual agreement, which is like abide when you guys stay in an agreement together, which is what also beloved is. Sometimes at the end of our church service, that's what happens as well. It's so funny because as Tom is praying for people down the line, and he goes around the church, and you will see the congregation shift as he shifts on each person. So you may be looking forward in the beginning, and by the time it's also a good.
Starting point is 00:52:42 and done, you're standing with your hands and standing in agreement and praying over the people in the back that he's praying for because we're all in unity. Super important. And if you're not doing that, why aren't you doing that? Don't just sit there and be a bump on a log. Because I guarantee if you were standing and had a prayer that you needed met, you would want people to not be sitting like a bump on the log when you're praying, when you're being prayed over, you would want them to do what you want done, which is to stand in agreement with you.
Starting point is 00:53:16 So whatever you want, you do. A lot of people don't do that, though. It's like everybody wants people to, this is what drives me crazy. This is like squirrel, but this is like what drives me crazy. People get so mad and offended that the church or that people in the church aren't there for them when they have a need. But they're never there for anybody else when they have a need. somebody else has a need. But God forbid, you don't meet their need. And I just want to say sometimes, well, what about this person, this person, and this person? Why weren't you there for
Starting point is 00:53:48 them? Right. But yet, how dare you not meet theirs? It's reaping and sewing, people. It's reaping and sewing. It's true. I was going to say something about that, but I'm going to leave that along. Okay, people also, we're also anointed for other reasons. So let's look at the L test, Testament. Anointed, like if God in the Old Testament, if you were anointed, it was sometimes because you were being called out by God. For example, like what, sorry, I can't remember your name, Vanessa. It's like, wait, Vanessa was saying, because I'm still thinking about, I'm still thinking about people like being, you're worked up, irritated when people aren't there for them. and having things to say about different people
Starting point is 00:54:42 or just the church that just drives me nuts. Yeah, I get it. I forgive you. Thank you. Thank you. Priests, like Aaron and his sons, when they were called out to be priests, this is what it says in Exodus 30-30.
Starting point is 00:54:57 It says, Anoint Aaron and his sons, also consecrating them to serve me as priests. Prophets were anointed. Elisha was anointed to succeed Elijah as prophet. in 1st Kings, 1916, it says, Anoint Elish's son of Shapheth from Abel, Abel Melhalal, to replace you as my prophet.
Starting point is 00:55:17 Kings, Saul, was the first king, and he was anointed by Samuel. 1st Samuel 101 says, Then Samuel took a flask of olive oil and poured it over Saul's head. You'll see, like Jonathan has, pastors that come from Africa. That's a big thing in Africa to pour oil over people's heads, right? It's a big old thing, Norma said, because she's been there.
Starting point is 00:55:46 Everybody does it. Okay. What is that significant of, like, Aaron, the priest? Do you know, Tracy? I don't. Interesting. I would love to know. Just out of nosiness, not because of anything else.
Starting point is 00:55:59 David, who was anointed king from being a shepherd boy, while he was still a shepherd, boy he was anointed as king and he didn't become king until many many many many years later first samuel 1613 says so as david stood there among his brothers samuel took the flask of olive oil he had brought and an anointed david with the oil and here's another thing like you'll hear people um anoint their house like over the doorposts and have you guys ever heard of that before yep because it's objects as well not just people the tabernacle and everything in it were anointed. A lot of people don't know that. Now, am I telling you that you should go around and anoint your house? No, I'm not telling you that if you feel like you should, then go for it.
Starting point is 00:56:42 But if you don't, you'll be all right. But you can. Exodus 49, 40, verse 9 says, taking the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and all its furnishings to consecrate them and make them holy. And in the New Testament, we see it for healing and empowerment, which is the sick. James 514, Jesus symbolically, the woman in James 514, a woman anointed Jesus with oil and perfume in Mark 14.3, it says while he was eating, a woman came in with a beautiful alabaster jar of expensive perfume, and she broke open the jar and poured the perfume over his head. Jesus also said to himself in Luke 1418, the Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. If you don't know the Lord, I mean the Bible,
Starting point is 00:57:32 the gospel is called the good news. Actually, I love what Andrew Womack says, which is too good to be true news. And it is. The Bible is the good news. The gospel, the four gospels, Matthew Mark, Luke and John, the gospels are good news. And a lot of times people think it's a bunch of rules and regulations. It is not. is the good news so let's look at this who was anointed priests kings prophets jesus the sick and holy objects and the priests were anointed to serve god in the temple kings to rule under god's authority prophets to speak god's word jesus the ultimate anointed one the sick to receive healing and comfort and holy objects is to make them holy and set apart so that is the reason why
Starting point is 00:58:21 and if you have children and you need to explain to them why hopefully you took notes but oh you're going to have to come over here really quick Norma looks it up and why okay Norma knows why or she believes no go over there go with me go stand over there in Africa she looked it up why they do it yeah look it up this is everything I witnessed over there okay it's what you witnessed okay it's what I saw most of time so But when you got ordained or became a priest, you get anointed with oil. Like you just said, they do that every single time, no matter what.
Starting point is 00:59:02 I mean, they pour it on your head. It's a lot. They also, when you become a believer, they dump oil on your head. So you're made new. The oil is new. So when you're newly saved? Yes. They'll dump oil on you.
Starting point is 00:59:15 Oh, wow. Or they'll just take a freaking thing upon your head, like your hand. Okay. And then the other one, what was it? to bring the baptism of the Holy Spirit upon you, they'll dump oil on your head. Oh, interesting. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:31 But they don't do that to everybody. When they're praying over you, yeah, they do. They have oil on your head. So if you're like whenever I would witness like either with the people I was with or in a church that we went to, the pastor, preacher, whatever you want to call them, whenever somebody was like, I want to speak in tongues or I want the Holy Spirit upon me, they take oil and they'll put it on your head.
Starting point is 00:59:55 Interesting. Yeah, like, I don't know. They think it brings it, I don't know. It signifies stuff for them. Yeah, it's the Holy Spirit. Yeah. The anointing oil is symbolic of the Holy Spirit. They dump it all over your head.
Starting point is 01:00:07 That makes sense, though. Yeah. But a lot of people, it's like a lot of people question a lot of things. So this question, when I saw it, I was like, I am so glad somebody is asking this question because for a lot of people, it's very, like. confusing or they think it's just a lot of what is the right word for it um a lot of um a lot of yeah like woo woo weird emotionalism yeah right like unnecessary how do you not make it weird i don't think there's a way to not make it weird okay i really don't yeah it's like
Starting point is 01:00:51 when you're laying hands on people right people have a problem with that They think it's weird. How else are you going to do it, though? Yeah. Yeah. It's going to be weird. So how do you, okay, so let's say, like, because we talked about anointing, like, the doorpost and stuff.
Starting point is 01:01:05 Like, how do you not get, like, OCD about it? Like, okay, every time you, like, smell something, see something, you're like, I have to anoint my house. Like, how do you prevent maybe a new believer from feeling like that's the answer to all their problems now is anointing things? Well, let's not go crazy. That's what I mean. because there's a balance with everything.
Starting point is 01:01:28 Like some people literally feel like they have to pray whether they're going to go to Burger King or McDonald's. I'm not kidding you. Like everything is, I need to pray about that. Okay, sorry, you don't need to pray about everything. God gives you wisdom. God gives you like, everything doesn't need to be prayed over. Sometimes it's just the peace of knowing,
Starting point is 01:01:52 oh, this is what I should do. Yeah. like it's not we make things we make literally we make things so much more complicated than they need to be right and we make them way more religious and spiritual than they need to be and I think that if you're like anointing something all the time what else do you do in life that's like that right and if you don't do that with everything else in life like I think it's basically like you anoint it and then you thank him and you thank him and you thank him because you did it once and now you stand in faith and you believe whatever you did and his name is she'll come to
Starting point is 01:02:32 pass yeah good why are you somebody you know that anoints their house all the time no but i i can see somebody no no no i can see somebody just because we've been around it you know yeah where but also like educating that person like the power is not in the oil right the power is in the holy spirit right like in understanding that it's just a tool that we use but a lot of times people do it out of fear though right the reason they keep going back is because they don't believe the first time it worked which was what you just said was great because once you start doing something like you're repeating it there is there unbelief somewhere is that why you're doing it again but if you did it once and then you're remaining thankful you have an expectation it's going to come to fruition
Starting point is 01:03:14 you're just waiting patiently but i can see somebody taking this and being like okay now i have to annoy everything, you know, and that's not the case. And even at a bite, like I, before we pray over anybody, I ask God, anointing oil, or he'll just say oil, and I'll just, I just do it. Like, I just, so if you're in tune with the Holy Spirit, too, you'll know when it's appropriate to use or not. And one thing I love about the oil that smells is that when they leave, they'll still smell something different on them, and you're, like, reminded of what you stood in faith for. That's why I like the smelly ones. Yeah. I love the smelly ones, too, because it is a It is. It is. It is. I know. And what you stood in faith for and what you felt in that
Starting point is 01:03:55 moment and when God showed up. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. What else? Oh, that's good. That was important. I felt like it was just something to put out there to make sure nobody makes it weird now. If you decide to, that you feel like you should use it. Well, if they do, they're weird. True. But maybe we can help them. Maybe the non-weirdos that won't ask. Oh, my gosh. People make things so complicated. Oh, I know that. Make your life simple. Yeah, be simple.
Starting point is 01:04:24 It's like, I don't know. For me, I think, I just think that, and then I'll do the sponsors really quick, but I just think life is so less complicated than what people make it be. In so much that, in so much of what people think on, what people choose to, we'll go to think on how much do you think on things and ponder them okay a lot of people will literally sit and ponder and think on one thing for hours at a time that's not healthy whether it's fear-based whether it's even good things some people are greener pastures so all they think on is the greener pasture so it's it's not just fear-based things people
Starting point is 01:05:18 It's like not learning to be content where you're at. So you're always pining for the next thing. You're not content. So you're always thinking of, if I do this, then I will be happy. Now, what do I got to do to get to this? Okay, that's not good. And then there are things like discontentment, always looking for, always looking for something to be irritated about. not to be happy about or or being so easily bothered by things life is good when you're like okay I recognize that for what that is either it was a person or a circumstance or whatever it is when it happens you need to make decisions in that you're not going to allow this to overtake you and it gets you so bothered and riled up that you stay in that mode for I don't know some people can some people can be grouchy and mean over one thing that didn't go
Starting point is 01:06:27 their way or something that somebody said and they can be grouchy and mean 24 hours plus and everybody's going to deal with them and everybody's going to hear about it and there's something to be said with okay yes you can be bothered by things but that's one of the reasons why I say 30 minutes if I absolutely need it and I don't allow myself 30 minutes very often unless I'm really mad but for the most part I try and get past things within five 10 minutes tops like sit there think about it make sure that what I've done what I've said how I handle it was done correctly and if it isn't then I'm like sending out the apology or trying to fix my part that played a part and whatever has got me pissed off about or whatever.
Starting point is 01:07:20 Do you know what I'm saying? Don't live in it. Don't stay in it. Like we ruin our anointing and we ruin what God has for us simply by distractions. And there is so many things that we need to be about that we can't afford to waste any time on the unnecessary things that we allow ourselves either to be irritated and bothered by or think on and be fearful about or like not being satisfied there are just so many things in life that we waste so much time on and it's unnecessary like really examine i was thinking to
Starting point is 01:08:04 myself today a fool a fool at earth all its thoughts um back in in biblical times to be called a fool is like the worst thing that one of the worst things that could happen to you But it's simply by saying everything that you think. I started thinking to myself, man, I've been a fool a lot. And I'm like, unlocking the door to the thing today. And I'm like, man, watch your words, girl. Like, really the word tells us, you know, that we'll be judged by our words. So it's not just being a fool, but it's also like, do we want to be judged?
Starting point is 01:08:46 by the things that we say and a lot of times like things that come at us we base what we say on those circumstances and not all of them are good and happy and like that's why i say too like don't be so spiritually minded that you're no earthly good like don't it's not healthy a lot of times being like that is fear-based as well true being so afraid if you don't do the right things thing that God's going to punish you or that you're going to be out of his will. He'll fix it. Right. If your heart is good and it is in the right place, he knows your heart. He knows that you're trying to do what he wants you to do. And if you're wrong, it's okay. Right. He's a good dad. Just like some of you guys are good parents. You like, no, like you would never destroy your
Starting point is 01:09:39 children or your child because it made an error, especially if the heart was in the right place. you kind of just shift things and get them back on course. That's what God will do for you. Yeah. You're not getting the beat down. So. It's good. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:09:57 I just think people are very, they live in a lot of bad places and it's unnecessary. And I'm not saying I got it going on all the time. I'm not saying that, but I'm saying that, that, um, the it's not good where people um camp out i agree it's not good and all the while live in delusion thinking they're completely fine even worse what even worse even worse yep so hopefully that helps somebody because it definitely needed to be said yeah let's do sponsors let's do it real estate appraisal associates of southwest florida ink is owned by laura kella they have been in business since 2005.
