Starting point is 00:00:00 Real talk. Real talk. Real talk. Real talk. Hello and welcome to Wednesday's podcast. I am super excited about today. I have absolutely no reason to be excited. I think I'm going to be the opposite of whatever Sarah is today because Sarah's pretty much in a crappy mood. We'll see how that happens. We'll see if we can pull her out of that one.
Starting point is 00:00:36 Put you guys on. Look at us in our collars except Tal. Oh gosh, looky, looky. I wore my foundation church tank the other day. You little cheater. No, I didn't cheat. Youy, looky. I wore my foundation church tank the other day. You little cheater. No, I didn't cheat. You're just matching Hope.
Starting point is 00:00:49 What? She changed. Purposely changed. What? Color Addison. So you went and grabbed up in the merch area a pink shirt? Yes, and I sent Heather a picture and said I stole it. I wore my gray one.
Starting point is 00:01:05 Those are great, guys, just for the summer, those cute little tanks we got. I know. They're super soft. Super soft, super comfortable. I'm very happy about it. And my hair is sticking out. Don't do it.
Starting point is 00:01:16 Don't do it. There we go. They're really nice. I really like this. Me too. I like the material. Did you guys have a talk or something what what may well why are we all in pink today we're just in one accord you know same holy spirit
Starting point is 00:01:33 dwells in all of us except talia and me but black is slimming so right that's where i'm headed right now black is slimming you're the host you're supposed to be different than us. But Talia just didn't. This is in my color palette. She's still working. Oh, that's right. I'm all about it. That's right. I forgot.
Starting point is 00:01:51 This is not in my color palette. But you're also in a rank mood. So there you go. There you go. That'll do it. Hot stuff over there. Yep. Okay, Sarah, tell us.
Starting point is 00:02:02 We'll get to questions way earlier today than we normally do. Thank you, Norma. You did it to questions way earlier today than we normally do. Thank you, Norma. My daughter secretly bringing me candy. God bless, child. Now I'm in a really happy mood. Yeah, see. Because I shouldn't eat those, but I'm going to. You should.
Starting point is 00:02:15 I am. It's time. It's a good time. It's Wednesday. I'm waiting. It's Wednesday. I'll wait until after the podcast because it's caramel. Okay, so can you share why you're in a wretched mood?
Starting point is 00:02:27 I don't think that's a good idea. Okay, because we might revert you right back. Do we need to lay hands? We can do that after. She needs those deliverance. We are talking about ghosts today. That's not funny. We are talking about ghosts today.
Starting point is 00:02:43 I was going to say. This is on topic. Yeah, I was trying to tell you guys. Demons and ghosts. I'm not prepared for that. Ouija boards, demons and ghosts. If I can get to the Ouija board question. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:53 That's what we're talking about today. Okay. How many of you guys played with a Ouija board when you were younger? Never. Never. I was a good girl. I couldn't even watch this first. That's why Sarah is in a wretched mood.
Starting point is 00:03:09 She knows. Sarah is the only one. Did you play with the ouija board well well what happened to you trace um i was around the wrong crowd when i was like in third grade third grade playing with the ouija board somebody's sister had one and brought it out and everybody was pushing it and everybody's like you're pushing it and then they're like no i'm not and that was that was i might have been like i don't even know fifth grade fourth grade oh my gosh i know i never like listen if i went to a sleepover and they had um any like scary movies playing anything that was demonic in any nature i go yeah my parents was like you leave you call you walk home you do whatever like back in the day you could actually walk home from a place and not be afraid that somebody was going to snatch your butt but and my parents probably would have not been worried anyway because who really wanted this thing they would have like
Starting point is 00:04:02 popped me right back onto the sidewalk after they got a hold of me for five minutes she's too much yeah that's yeah drug that girl yeah but um oh my god we can only handle that so much but um but oh man but if i there was anything like that, I was not. And I was a very obedient child. Not a very obedient like 18 to 24 year old. I was like a hellion. But get me when I was younger. Oh my gosh. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:04:35 So you were naughty. Did you know not to do that? Yeah. And you still did it? Yeah. Oh my. That explains a lot. That's why you have a hard time being
Starting point is 00:04:45 submissive to your husband sorry mom yes exactly listen what is the verse when paul says like i know the things that i should not do but i still do those are the i do's and i those are like all those i do's they're so confusing i do the do's and i do the don'ts that i don't that i do yes the do's and the don'ts. Oh my gosh. Sarah, how old were you when you did a Ouija? Just the way you said that. That sounds like a wedgie,
Starting point is 00:05:10 but I did a Ouija. A Ouija. How old were you? I did it multiple times. As an adult or when you were a little kid? I don't know. Because you know,
Starting point is 00:05:18 people play. People do those things even as adults, apparently. Yeah. I think the last time I was like, I don't know, 19 or something. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:29 But did something happen? Listen, I've done worse. So we can just start with that. Should I have Sarah on for just a one-on-one sometime? Yes. I think that would be very interesting. Yes. Yes. I think that would be very interesting. Again, night and day.
Starting point is 00:05:49 Yeah. Since she started coming here. She is. Night and day. But she wasn't doing that stuff prior to coming to Foundation Church. She actually did go to church. But she actually solidified a lot of things coming here. But, okay, well, that's interesting.
Starting point is 00:06:04 Yeah. We need to talk. Let's go get an acai yuppie bowl we can talk sarah i'm very interested um okay you know what for me i think you just keep yourselves on before we get going i'm gonna give a nice little shout out do you know what and you probably some of you may use him too. But I literally, if anybody needs a good mechanic, I, listen, Hanson Automotive. I cannot tell you. I'm there. Not because my car keeps breaking down with the same old thing. Mine does.
Starting point is 00:06:36 But I have four cars. Right. Exactly. Four flipping cars. Right. So I was saying to him, I always need tires. I always need an oil change. I always need brake pads. Because my kids are in Tampa every day, pretty much.
Starting point is 00:06:50 Both are there several times a week and then whatever. But like, I kid you not, like my cars are constantly in. He is so dang honest and he does such great work. So if you need a good, who who else uses him over there me all the time oh all of you guys do all of us do oh yeah like we can vouch for him if you need a good um mechanic let me just give you like honest as the day is long plus he goes to the church here so he's a christian but i'm just saying holy crap oles i, man, I'm so glad I know him because I'd be screwed if I had a mechanic
Starting point is 00:07:26 like in the past. Listen, you're welcome. I prayed for a mechanic because there's always something that goes on and you can never trust what anybody says.
Starting point is 00:07:36 Especially as a woman. Especially as a woman, right? And even if it's like, you get an oil change, oh, well, this also,
Starting point is 00:07:40 and this also, and this also. Always. Right? Always. So I'm like, can I just have a good mechanic and a good dentist? That's all I want I just have a good mechanic and a good dentist?
Starting point is 00:07:45 That's all I want. And now I've got to guess that. I've got a good dentist and a good mechanic. Of course, my dentist is not. You. You're the dentist. You're the dentist. No, I'm telling you.
Starting point is 00:07:54 The good dentist, I have a good dentist. He's phenomenal. Hygienist. And here's the thing. No, I don't want that either. Here's the thing about my dentist. He hates going to the dentist. Wow.
Starting point is 00:08:04 He hates it. He likes the Wow. He hates it. He gets the sweats. I love it. As a dentist himself. I also love it. What? He hates it. You know what? The TLC that that man provides. I need his number. Yeah, I'm going to need that. Where Asoria? It's where
Starting point is 00:08:19 Heather used to work. The best. I haven't been there in a while. The best. I'm just telling you, like, hands down. Okay. You need a good dentist from out of town. Like, he's in Inglewood. He has several places, but I would go to the Inglewood office for him. I don't know if you can get an appointment, like, any time in the next
Starting point is 00:08:36 couple months. Oh, he's, like, but for me, like, it's all about, it's all about the care. Like, Tom won't go to anybody else and Tommy Tommy was has Tommy's there
Starting point is 00:08:49 a couple times this week we got a situation going on in the library why didn't you have him come to Vanessa's listen
Starting point is 00:08:57 it's the way to do it now she's got the dental anointing I don't know if she really wanted this situation I'll be honest with you okay yeah She's got the dental anointing. I don't know if she really wanted this situation. I'll be honest with you. Okay.
Starting point is 00:09:08 Yeah, I'll tell you later. Okay. It's a situation, all right. Oh, gosh. But, no, he called Heather. He called his sister. Yep. What's that?
Starting point is 00:09:19 Heather. I got this problem. Heather's like, okay, and she handled it for him as usual. But yeah, need a good dentist. But I'm talking about, I'm not kidding you. Mechanics are, good mechanics are hard to find. Very hard. Honest mechanics are hard to find.
Starting point is 00:09:36 You need a good one. I was like, I am definitely, I was thinking to myself, literally I said to him, what would I do if I didn't have you? Right. Thank God he's my friend. But on top of that, what would I do if I didn't have you right thank God he's my friend but on top of that what would you do because you can't like Tracy said people can get you coming and going because you don't know squat like they can go in there and cut your hoses and all that other stuff I mean the
Starting point is 00:09:58 dealership down the road tried to tell me that I needed all these things done to my car cuz I when I first bought it go in there they give you free this and so I went in there and they tell me I need this and these things done to my car because when I first bought it, go in there, they give you free this. So I went in there and they tell me I need this and he's like, you don't need none of that. They're just trying to sell you a bunch of stuff. Hope, I already looked at it. It's totally fine. Not okay.
Starting point is 00:10:17 Not okay. It's not okay. It's not okay. Shame, shame, shame. So Hanson Automotive put his stuff in the beauty. Yep, it's in there. And look up where, sorry,
Starting point is 00:10:26 for dentists, if anybody needs a good dentist, because we have so many people who are transient that moved down here and don't know where to go. But that's where Heather used to work before we snatched her up. They're always calling to get her back. Yes. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:10:39 Always. Oh, well, hello, it's Heather. Of course they are. I know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:44 She ran everything for them. But yeah, they're always calling her. How are things going at the church? All of a sudden. Like, and they're friends of ours, too. So I might have to pound them into the ground. But I stole her from them, so. That's true.
Starting point is 00:11:00 That's true. What's good for the goose is good for the gander, I guess. I couldn't really get that mad at them. But's true. What's good for the goose is good for the gander, I guess. I couldn't really get that mad at him. But all right. 49 minutes. We're nine minutes or 11 minutes in. I will get to questions. Do your thing.
Starting point is 00:11:13 And then we're going to come back and do questions. All right. Perfect. So we've got everybody that is on Facebook right now. We got 12 of you. If you have Rumble, we are live on Rumble, too. And we've got a whole live chat going on over there.
Starting point is 00:11:26 So Talia already put the link in there so you guys can do that. I'm actually going to pin it and then also if you are on Facebook, if you want to click on that Facebook link to Hanson Auto and like their page, then you'll be able to easily find it in the future
Starting point is 00:11:38 if you ever need a mechanic. But you can also just comment who's watching. We've got 14 on here now. So just let us know who you are and where you're watching from. If you're watching the replay, you can always just comment who's watching. We've got 14 on here now. So just let us know who you are and where you're watching from. If you're watching the replay, you can always just put it in the comments. Um, we can see it later that you guys were able to log in later and then head over to rumble. So again, there's a link in YouTube and there's a link in black robe. So you can stay on
Starting point is 00:11:58 black robe if you want, but if you're here for the conversation, come on over, um, to good old rumble, um, rumble. You can like the page. You can let, or sorry, follow the page and then like the actual video that's live right now. So you can click on that. If you have something specific that you want to stick around, just put that in the comments. Um, otherwise just join us in the chat. YouTube is live, um, and a little bit quiet over there. So that's okay. we want you to be in Rumble anyways. So best thing to do. Black robe is back up. Black robe is up.
Starting point is 00:12:30 Thank you, Jesus. Up and doing its thing. And yeah, that's what we've got. So we also have our audio podcast, as most of you guys know. And if you don't, you can head over anywhere that you watch your podcast
Starting point is 00:12:41 or listen to your podcast, Spotify, Apple, all of them will be there. And it goes all the way back to episode one, season one. So they're all there for your listening and you can just put it on and play. We have a ton of downloads that people do all over across the world. People are downloading the podcast. So it's really cool to see like where people are watching from and those just analytics that we get to see. It's a
Starting point is 00:13:05 little bit harder everywhere else. So I love that for the podcast, audio podcast. And then as always, please continue to send in your questions. If you are on Instagram, you can send them there. But this is pretty much the best way to do it. Just ask hope at hope hotline.com. And like I always say, hope loves a little backstory or a little bit of context to the question and you can ask in general but obviously we all have subjective ways of looking at things so if you just put a little bit more information and that'll help her kind of narrow down exactly what you're asking that's always helpful uh always on instagram if you didn't get catch it a couple days ago vanessa shared her picture of her fox, fox, foe, foe plunger.
Starting point is 00:13:50 Yes, that she received as a gift. That's funny. It was funny. So if you caught that, that was on our stories. And then we've got all of our merch available. And I was just working on a merch photo for you guys to see. But if you go to foundationchurchfl.com and click on shop you will also see the tank that I'm wearing and the one
Starting point is 00:14:10 that Hope was just talking about it's $15 online or you can buy it when you actually come to foundation too so it's there available as well they're super cute there's a gray one a black one and a pink one that's available online extra small all the way to extra large and yeah super easy to purchase. So you go to the same link where all of the Hope Hotline merch is, which is the shirt, the hat, the mug, and the spoon. And then we've got our Dare to Be coming up. So it'll be June 28th at 6.30 PM. Please come and bring a friend or two or three or four. And it'll be a really good time. I'm really excited for this one. And then next after that, so about two months later,
Starting point is 00:14:53 we will have our victorious late beloved, it's beloved ladies conference. And it's going to be called victorious this year, August 22nd through the 24th. It'll be awesome. We've got Adala Shuttlesworth and Magalas coming. And so we got Hope speaking. It's going to be really fun. We've got some surprisesys Shuttlesworth and Magalas coming. And so we've got Hope speaking. It's going to be really fun. We've got some surprises, of course, as always.
Starting point is 00:15:09 And, yeah, you just come prepared because you just never know. You never know. You never know. Anything could happen. Anything could happen at these things. Especially with the two Puerto Rican twins. I'm telling you. You never know what you're going to get.
Starting point is 00:15:25 Absolutely. Either one of to get. Absolutely. Either one of those two. Absolutely. Whatever. Yep. They're their own. They beat to their own drum. You be you.
Starting point is 00:15:36 Mostly Magalas. Mm-hmm. Yep. So. Yes, that's true. All right. Are we ready, girls, to do our first questions? Yeah, let's do it.
Starting point is 00:15:44 All right, let's do it. What are your thoughts on ghosts? Are they demons? If the encounters with ghosts walking around are true and they are people's souls, what are people really seeing? And wouldn't they be in heaven or hell not walking around the earth? Is there scripture on this? So we're going to look at scripture, and I'm going to go in a direction that you're going to be like,
Starting point is 00:16:09 what is she doing? But by the time it's all said and done, it's all going to make sense because it all makes sense. Let's look at Leviticus 19, 31. 19, chapter 31, verse. Give no regard to mediums and familiar spirits. Do not seek after them to be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.
Starting point is 00:16:36 So we're to stay away from that stuff. Ghosts, demonic things, anything that is considered demonic, we are supposed to stay away from it. Like sorcery, people who go and get their fortune told, hand, palms read, name some other things, girls. Like horoscopes, tarot cards, what else? Crystals, right? Crystals, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:04 Crystals. Is there Crystals, yeah. Crystals. Is there anything else that people might not know that is, like even people think horoscopes are fun and like they're not a big deal. They're not good. You should stay away from them. Did you say mediums? Yeah. In the scripture I said mediums.
Starting point is 00:17:22 Is there anything else? Like palm reading, but that's kind of the same as like tarot cards. Yeah, and mediums are really popular right now. It seems to be that's the thing. And people are like, how is it that medium knew everything about me and everything about my family member? That's because there's demonic spirits. Not ghosts.
Starting point is 00:17:46 Not spirits. And so that's where we're going to go with this. And what a lot of times people think is there are such things as ghosts. There's no such thing as a ghost. But there are demons. The demonic spirits. And the word is very clear that that's what we do spiritual warfare against. But Satan is very cunning. And so you need to remember that. Let's look at the study notes for that
Starting point is 00:18:11 scripture that we just read. For mediums and spirits, this is what it's referring to. Practitioners of the occult, consulting a medium was no less a sin than being one. Is that interesting? Because most people think it's like somebody who's gossiping. Most people think the one that's gossiping to them is the one committing the sin. No, no, no, no, no. The one listening to the gossiper is also committing the sin. People don't realize that. You participate, you're just as guilty. Okay? So someone who is a medium is a sinner or participating in sin, but going to one is also sin. Does that make sense, ladies? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:56 Yeah, because most people don't correlate any of that. Only God was to be consulted through either the priest or a prophet. And this is Old Testament times, right? Because this is Leviticus. Jesus hasn't come, which Jesus says, the only way to get to the Father is but through him. So Jesus did not exist at this time, so that is why it is that you went to the priest or the prophet.
Starting point is 00:19:22 And that would be going to the temple. And he would then, you would confess the sin, or you would, excuse me, you would bring the sacrifice for the sin that you had committed, and then the priest would then sacrifice that animal or what have you. So that's the reason that's like that.
Starting point is 00:19:43 Now, Deuteronomy 18, 11 through 12 says, or one who conjures spells or a medium or a spiritist or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations, the Lord your God drives them out from before you. This goes back to people believing that people can be filled with demons
Starting point is 00:20:07 that are Christians. This says that God drives them from you. It's an abomination. Does that make sense, ladies? That just confirms even more that as a believer, it doesn't correlate
Starting point is 00:20:23 being demonically possessed as a believer. The study notes for these things, referencing that in the verse, says verses refer to various methods people use in divining or diviniting, employing demonic occult supernatural means to discover the will of their false gods and the course of future events. The Lord describes them as detestable. So let's look at Job 7, 9 through 10. And it says, as the cloud disappears and vanishes away,
Starting point is 00:20:58 so he who goes down to the grave does not come up. So if you're going down to the grave, you're not coming back up. Once you're down there, you're down there. Your spirit man is not coming up as a ghost. He shall never return to his house, nor shall his place know him anymore. Does that make sense, ladies? Yes.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Okay. I'm going to ask them just in case because I don't have this person and this is super like lots of people believe in ghosts a lot Sarah were you about to say something I mean I can wait till you're finished
Starting point is 00:21:39 with your thing no but you move forward so I'm like if you wanted to say something you can I don't care i'm just gonna read a scripture again yeah like so the question that i was just thinking of is when the dead are resurrected because to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord like their spirit goes somewhere if they're then resurrected like and back into their body but that's that doesn't necessarily mean that they're a ghost i'm not saying that i believe in ghosts i'm just that was the question that i thought of when you said when you go down you
Starting point is 00:22:16 don't come back up and i was like well some people come back up well meaning meaning that like if you're in hell kind of thing, or if for me, once you're in hell, you're in hell. Once you're in heaven, you're in heaven. You're not coming back down here roaming around. Do you know what I'm saying? I know people have had visions of like family members and things like that. But that's not a ghost.
Starting point is 00:22:48 That's a vision and it can uh can do i believe that people's spirit man can come back in a vision yeah i do believe that but i don't think they come back as ghosts they don't haunt there's not a presence in somebody's house now are there demonic things in people's house yeah Yeah, I do believe that 100%. But I don't believe it's grandma whatever and she's haunting the house. I believe it's demonic spirits that are. But visions, people have had visions of their family members that have come back.
Starting point is 00:23:18 And do I believe that God allows that for people so that they can have some kind of closure or they can have some kind of closure or they can have some kind of peace. Yeah, I do. But that's not a haunting of that person. There's a difference between all of that. And that thing is that that's that vision or that experience is usually a one time event. It's not like and you're not afraid.
Starting point is 00:23:43 And it's not like somebody's got a barometer or whatever those things are that they, Oh, it's a spectrometer. What is that thing? Like a spectrometer or something. I don't think that they could walk around our homes and find like whoever's past and that that would be, it's not like that for me. I don't believe that for a second. If people still believe in ghosts after this, for me, I don't care.
Starting point is 00:24:06 It's like aliens. Believe what you want to believe. The Jehovah's, I mean, not Jehovah Witness, the Mormons started their whole denomination off of aliens. So go for it. Whatever. I don't believe in it. And I don't believe in ghosts.
Starting point is 00:24:20 I don't see it in the Bible. And when the disciples thought that Jesus was a ghost, he quickly corrected them to make sure. Like, that ain't right. So, I don't know. My opinion. Did you want to add anything to that? No, I think that.
Starting point is 00:24:40 Go ahead. No, I agree with your opinion on that. I'm just thinking about like, for example, when Lazarus died and he was dead for four days. Yep. Like, did he go
Starting point is 00:24:51 to the bosom of Abraham? Sorry. I don't know why that's funny. Because there was a Lazarus? Yeah, because his spirit had to go somewhere because it left his body. So that's like, there's a difference.
Starting point is 00:25:06 You know what, though? That's why that, remember that podcast when that doctor got his life right with God? Yeah. Because people were screaming or they were like, don't bring me back. Because I believe that you're, I believe Lazarus, when he died, he went to heaven. Right? Yeah. So for me, it's like he had to come back because Jesus was calling him back.
Starting point is 00:25:30 But you're right. His spirit had to go somewhere. I think he probably went to heaven and then he was called back. You know how they have DNRs? What is that? A DNR, like when you die and they don't want to be resuscitated. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:44 Like with the group of friends that I hang around with, I need a DNR that's like do not resurrect. I know. Because we will. That's why my mom. I'm good. Because we will. My mother has me as that.
Starting point is 00:25:54 I know you will, you crazy fool. Yeah, we'll bring you right back. Yeah, my mother has it for me because she's like. Yeah, I get it. I'm like, yeah, I'm not doing it. I get it. Totally. When you're ready to go.
Starting point is 00:26:05 Right. It'll be. But yeah, it's a tough call because I had a friend who asked me, put me in their will. And they are one of the reasons why they were they put me in their will. I'm sure I'm out of it now. But COVID COVID did that trick. But I'm so they put me in their will as because they knew I would bring them back. They were like, if anybody's going to call me back and get me back,
Starting point is 00:26:28 it's going to be you. So they put me specifically in their will to bring them back to life. Add hope to my will. Yeah. They were like, I can't. They were literally like, my family's going to be peeved off at this. But they'll be fine. Yeah, because you'll be back.
Starting point is 00:26:44 They'll be like, well, it is what it is. And they're like, you ain't going to be like that. I'm like, no, I will not. True. I will bring you back. That's facts. I will do whatever I got to do. But my mother, on the other hand, she's like, eh.
Starting point is 00:26:56 If it's these conditions, I'm fine. Let me go. Right. Right. Yeah. I'm like, you got it, mama. DNR. Right here.
Starting point is 00:27:04 Nope. Do not resurrect. Sorry. We'll ask the Lord first, and got it, mama. DNR. Right here. Nope. Do not resurrect. Sorry. We'll ask the Lord first and then we'll decide. Okay. Yeah. And then we'll bring you back. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:12 Well, it's not going to happen to any of us. We're going to be so old. So old. So old. 120. That doesn't sound good to me. I don't really want to be old. That's because you are having a day.
Starting point is 00:27:22 I'm not doing 120. That's true. I'm like, yeah, you're ready for this day to be over. She wants to go see Jesus. Too bad. Joy comes in the morning. Exactly. Always.
Starting point is 00:27:30 There's some super spiritual things right there. Your joy will return in the morning. Oh, you could sing it. I can hear it. I'm not singing squat. I can hear it. I'm not singing squat. You're an amazing singer.
Starting point is 00:27:40 Why are you hiding it from everybody? You don't know if I can sing. Yes, I do. I was there for Christmas. Yeah. At the old building. Yeah, you sang at the old building You don't know. Yes, I do. I was there for Christmas. At the old building. I have photos of you that I took. I don't think I've heard you and I'll tell you the truth. If you're not,
Starting point is 00:27:54 I will tell you. Oh my gosh, Heather is now in the room. She goes, oh. I'm fine. Nobody needs to hear me sing. Okay. Thank you. Can i pull it from no do not pull it it's all good okay fine delete all right let's do this isaiah 8 19 through 20 says and when they say to you seek those who are mediums and wizard wizards who whisper and mutter
Starting point is 00:28:22 should not a people seek their God? In other words, don't do it. And so in the study part, it says, should they seek? It says, the dead on behalf of the living, to the law and to the testimony. If they do not speak according to the word, it is because there is no light in them. So do not do that. Stay away from it.
Starting point is 00:28:42 I'm gonna tell you about, I got this commentary on cults and the supernatural and it's very good it says the spirits of the dead and the mediums who pretend to speak for them who pretend to speak for them can only talk in whispers and squeaks this isn't this is appropriate for those who have left their body behind when odiousdias visited Hades, the spirits there lamented their increasing separation from the life of physical vitality. The prophets struggled to keep the people from resorting to spiritism. Because you know why? It's just like
Starting point is 00:29:16 everything else. When you are not walking with the Lord like you should, you'll be easily distracted by the things that tantalize your carnal nature. And you will be entertained by the things that you have no business getting involved in. It's like, it always goes back to like, if somebody, when the world is excited for somebody who gets something, that's like, I go back to Jonathan and Adalys. God blesses them. The world is happy for them. The Christian is not because it's full of envy and strife. Okay, because you know why that is? Because you got nothing spiritually going on.
Starting point is 00:29:56 So it's very easy to be envious and jealous and say, they don't deserve that and critique and criticize and just do everything. When we as believers, we're to favor one another. We should rejoice when a believer gets something that the world is always getting. But for me, it is way easier to be entertained by the things that we are not, the list of things that we shouldn't do, those things entertain us so much more than really getting in and grinding and having a strong spiritual walk. In order to raise the dead, in order to see people healed and sick. See people healed that are sick.
Starting point is 00:30:48 And to be able to speak into people's lives, it takes fasting. Nobody wants to do that. They don't. Nobody wants to do it. To see lives transformed and changed and want the Lord. It takes time and prayer and speaking over that family member and fighting in spiritual warfare, saying, Devil, you ain't got them.
Starting point is 00:31:09 They are the Lord's, and I command you to, and I rebuke them. Take your hands off of them. And it takes those kinds of things, but that's not what people want to do because it doesn't entertain. It doesn't fill that little carnal nature void that we so hunger and thirst after when the word says we're to hunger and thirst after righteousness not after what makes us our feels feel good and i think it's very very dangerous and i think that's one of the reasons why people seek mediums and sorcery and palm readers and things like that because because it's a quick fix they can go and have
Starting point is 00:31:46 somebody tell them their future which is a daggone lie versus really getting into the word finding out who you are in Christ what he has for you and then walking that out knowing your future because he'll tell it to you years in advance if you just shut up listen and spend some time with him and communicate with him you would find out what your future really holds, be very excited about it. I mean, what's more exciting than pulling somebody up out of a wheelchair? I mean, hello, come on, giving somebody sight that is blind, but we'd rather be tantalized by, you know, gossip, by cutting people down, by being critical, by being envious and jealous of people, covening what others have and thinking we deserve it instead of them when you don't even do half of what they do. And for me, it's just, it's too easy.
Starting point is 00:32:41 It's too easy to feed the flesh instead of really going after what God has called us to do. And then when the people that are actually doing what God's called, you know, them to do and really what you should be doing, then we're mad and we're jealous about that too. We see people accomplishing things for God and we sit there and we bust on them or we say negative things about them when we're doing nothing or accomplishing nothing. For me, I just don't get it, and I see it all the time. I hear it all the time. It's because people don't do what they're supposed to be doing, spiritually speaking.
Starting point is 00:33:20 They just don't. And shame on you if that's you. And if it is you, you can fix it, so you should. Because the harvest is ripe and ready, and the workers are few. So we need to be about that. Ecclesiastes 9, 5 through 6, For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward for the memory of them. It's forgotten.
Starting point is 00:33:46 Also, their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished. Nevermore will they have a share in anything done under the sun. So again, I go back to ghosts aren't real. And anybody who's a medium or does sorcery or does anything, even the Ouija board. Do I think that some of that stuff does come to pass and it is demonic and demonic things can happen and that people can speak, but it is a demon that is communicating? I 100% do. Do I think a lot of it is fake and a fraud?
Starting point is 00:34:22 Yes, I do. I 100% do. Because I think there's a lot of frauds out there that want to make money, and they've proven it. They've had people show that it's not real. So, let's look at Ephesians 6, 11-12. It says,
Starting point is 00:34:38 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the rules of darkness in this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places that did not say ghosts. Remember that. 2 Corinthians 11, 14 through 15 says, And no wonder, for Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
Starting point is 00:35:00 And that's what these mediums are doing. You think that they're these wonderful people. They're possessed. They're these wonderful people they're possessed they're not wonderful people therefore it is no great thing if his if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness whose end will be according to their works so stay away from satanic activities such as seances That's the one I was thinking of. Seances. Ouija boards and mediums and anything other that has got spiritist activity. And again, flip and stay away from horoscopes. They're not good.
Starting point is 00:35:41 They're not good. 1 John 4 once said, Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. So, girls, got anything you want to add? No, I hope that people heard why you think that they are seeking this stuff out. I hope they hear that, that they are spiritually
Starting point is 00:36:05 bored. I hope that sits in their spirit and convicts them because that's the problem with all this stuff. Gossip and seeking things that are outside the Bible. They're bored. So go do something. And there's plenty of Christians that do all this stuff.
Starting point is 00:36:22 It's wild. Besides the gossip and they seek out this witchcraft. that do all this stuff. Oh yeah. It's wild. Besides like the gossip and, but they seek out this witchcraft. Right. I know. No, not good. It's not good.
Starting point is 00:36:34 And it's hard for people that come out of new age stuff and then try to like take the promises of God, like all the, like speaking in tongues and. I never thought about that. It is. Yeah. We've seen it.
Starting point is 00:36:45 And, and our Tuesday group where people that are come out in new age, they're like, I don't know, this feels a little bit too like new agey. I'm like, right. Because that's the counterfeit to what God had for you. You're doing the counterfeit before you think that's true. Cause you did that first. That's it's the opposite. I know.
Starting point is 00:36:58 I never put that together. Right. I, and new age is so close to Christianityianity it is that it's very hard to pull people out right oh my gosh holy crap yeah so they have to unlearn it and it's it's almost as bad as like somebody coming out of denomination that believes like you have to be baptized to go to heaven or you have to do all these things you know it's the same thing but it's like new age like just being very weary of like the prosperity message or the healing or this and like laying hands
Starting point is 00:37:28 and speaking in tongues and it's crazy. Well, because Baptists teach, not all, but a lot of the Baptist faith preaches that speaking in tongues is demonic. Right, right. And that it's God's will to heal. But then sometimes even in certain denominations, especially in the Baptist, they believe that healing was for then, not for now.
Starting point is 00:37:51 But I'm like, well, then what is the miracles that they've all seen? How does that work? Yeah. Right. That's why you can't follow a denomination or a doctrine. You have to follow the Bible. Full gospel. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:03 That's it. But yeah. Oh, my gosh. I have to follow the Bible. Full gospel. Yep. That's it. But yeah. Oh my gosh. I never even thought about that. Even like Andrew Womack does this power of imagination. Oh yes. That's a great teaching. But.
Starting point is 00:38:14 I get it. They struggle because you're manifesting something and they're like. But you're not. But you're not. Like at all. But I can see where they would think right now. Me too. So I've had to like walk through with people
Starting point is 00:38:25 like fully explaining in like detail what the difference is. And then they get it. But it's like- It's all my counseling. I've never even done. That's amazing. I know.
Starting point is 00:38:35 But new age, isn't that, it's a little bit different than like these like seances and like, you know what I mean? So it would make sense that this is like more of a new thing that people are coming, finally coming out of.
Starting point is 00:38:45 Thank God. Because to be your own savior. Oh, I know. And have to always think positive. But it's never your fault, though. It was your spirit's fault. That's true. You did not do that.
Starting point is 00:38:58 I mean, literally, you could commit murder, and that wasn't you that did that. Right, because there can't be repentance. That can't be in your mindset. Exactly.'m like that makes no sense whatsoever yeah but it's always your imperfect person yep not your spirit person yeah which makes no sense it's so wild it's so wild interesting though have you ever studied new age out? Oh my gosh. It's pretty wild. Yeah. There are certain things.
Starting point is 00:39:26 It's pretty wild. You know, not that I'm, I have studied out like a lot of, like they've had books that, and I can't remember what the book was, but in the book, as a Christian, so you can witness to different denominations, it would tell you what each denomination or what it, like different cults from Jehovah Witness to Mormonism to New Age. They give you all of this breakdown so that when you're speaking to them and you're trying to win them, soul win them, you understand where they're coming from so you can kind of use their theology against them
Starting point is 00:40:07 and perplex them and kind of like stump them, you know, to be like, wait a minute. Ask a question, yeah. That makes no sense. So they have books out there for Christians that teach you all about, and it doesn't go in deep because some people like to study out different cults or different different religions and that's dangerous to do it is very dangerous to do don't do that unless it's something like that where you're using your christian faith
Starting point is 00:40:37 and your biblical principles to counteract what they believe and it's very it's very uh enlightening to learn about what different faiths believe i And it's very, it's very enlightening to learn about what different faiths believe. I mean, it's, it's pretty wild. Is it that one? No, no. Okay. I don't recognize that author. Okay. I wonder if that's good though. Yeah, I have that one. So put that up there. Okay. It's pretty similar what you're saying. So if we find what you said, we can also add that. I won't remember it because I was like, I think I was in my early 30s. I probably would never remember the cover or anything. But if you've read that one, let's put that up.
Starting point is 00:41:11 This one is. And it's very basic, like Buddhism and then like Christianity. And why is it different than Christianity? And it is very basic. That's how this one was. That's what it sounds like. That's perfect. And it has all the New Age and everything everything hindu all that hinduism post-modernism jehovah witness evolution
Starting point is 00:41:30 witchcraft islam has all that stuff so put that put that up really quick on the screen oh okay and then put it in the um see if you're not on rumble you're not gonna get it uh we'll only put this on rumbles i'm'm just kidding. I just winked at Talia. Please don't make me do that. Okay. Yeah. So that's, this is what it looks like. I'm going to do the Amazon link real quick just to make it easy, but yeah, it's, it's not a very long read. It's super easy to read and it just gives you again, a side-by-side comparison to Christianity and that specific religion. And it just helps.
Starting point is 00:42:05 And it's so simple. So if you like read it through and then you have to come back to it later and be like, wait, what did they say about Jehovah Witness? Because they all are so different, but kind of similarities. And so for me, it's good. Once I realize somebody's Jehovah Witness, I can kind of go in and be like, okay, what do they believe? And what is similar to what I believe?
Starting point is 00:42:22 So important to understand. It's like when you're like Tom politically, he always is looking or he allows himself to watch what the other side is talking about so that you know what you're truly fighting against. And that's really important. So if, especially if you're trying to win the lost, if you know where they've walked,
Starting point is 00:42:48 it's really a great thing to kind of have in your back pocket to be able to speak their language. Yeah. Super important. I follow like CNN and stuff because I want to know like what are they not talking about and what are they talking about? Always know what your enemy's doing.
Starting point is 00:43:02 Keep your enemy closer. Yeah. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. And you know what's great is like if you're just not in a place to be able to handle like digesting it yourself, Pastor Tom does such a great job Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
Starting point is 00:43:14 where you can get his perspective on it but still get the information. From a Christian perspective. I can't promise you that everything is going to be Christian. I mean, there's no cussing, but... It's PG-13. But it's like, what's going on?
Starting point is 00:43:34 And it's his... There's no lie. It's just the truth. It's what's happening, what's the truth, and if you just want to know and be aware of it... Everybody needs to know what's going on. Listen. You don't have to watch Tom, but I'm just saying you need to know what's going on. How can you be the resistance? How can we like fight for our kids futures?
Starting point is 00:43:56 If we don't know, if we like put our heads in the sand and pretend like nothing's going on, that's insanity. Right. But truly, if you know, then you can fight spiritual warfare against it. Like we all have kids. I mean, I want my kids to have kids and I want their kids to have a great life. But we can only do that if we are the resistance, if we are fighting tooth and nail. As long as we are here, then Satan can't reign. And who wants to be blindsided like COVID? Like, you know what I mean? So like, if you can see things coming down the line and you
Starting point is 00:44:31 have a pastor that you trust that's sharing what he sees, why would you not want to like tap into that? Truth. And what people don't realize is the stuff that they have planned. And we're believing, listen, we are praying and we're standing that they don't get away with it. But some of the stuff that they have planned before the election, it's not good. But if we pray, we've been seeing the hand of God working mightily in some things, like Klaus Schwab stepping down. That's huge, guys. Some of you, I don't know who that is. That's shameful that you don't. You need to know who he is. And then a whole lot of other people have been stepping down with him. You know why? Because they're catching the heat. Yeah. And they don't want it anymore. So. You know, what's cool, too, is when you come from a perspective
Starting point is 00:45:20 of you're the restrainer versus whatever happens, happens, and we're just going to have to deal with it. Like what a different perspective. Oh yeah. Like you, you know, you're empowered. Right. And I don't think people, like, I think people are afraid to watch this stuff because they're like, Oh, once I know what's happening, but if you know what to pray against and you truly believe your prayers are powerful, it's just a different perspective. It really is a different way to live. It's a way different way to live. When you realize who you are in Christ and the authority that you carry, you can watch this stuff and be like,
Starting point is 00:45:52 it's no skin off my teeth. Listen, that's not going to happen. Not on my watch. And that's one of the reasons why Tom's so diligent about it because he does feel like he's Paul Revere. I know. He does. He feels like to a certain extent he is a sounding alarm along with some other great,
Starting point is 00:46:09 great men that are doing the same stuff. So with a Christian perspective, because there's a lot of people out there that are in it for the money. They're in it for themselves. They're in it for the political position and power. And so they'll sell themselves. They'll sell themselves out in order to get what they got to get. But there's some men that are like Tom, Pastor Rodney, Jonathan.
Starting point is 00:46:33 There's some other men that are out there too. Like John, what's his last name? Joe Altman with Conservative Daily. There's some really great men that people can watch, trust what they say, and know that there's no money behind it. You know what I'm saying when I say money behind it? I do.
Starting point is 00:46:54 They're not being persuaded by somebody giving them the almighty dollar for what they'll say and what they won't say. And a lot of people are very, they're very much, oh yeah, do that. Look at my cute, my cute honey. There he is, with a little smirk. Yeah, so Black Rope TV, always, you can go there. It's live.
Starting point is 00:47:16 And then Rumble, if you're on Rumble, just follow Tom Lively. You can find him really easily. Super easy to find. Again, every Tuesday and Thursday and Saturday. And on CTN. Look for the yelling. Look for the yelling.
Starting point is 00:47:28 I know. He's passionate. Listen for the yelling. Yeah. He's passionate and he's going to get the message across. So thank you for doing that. I appreciate that. So let's do our sponsor really quick.
Starting point is 00:47:39 Yes. Laura Keller and Real Estate Appraisal Associates of Southwest Florida, Inc. She has been in business since 2005. She is a Florida State Certified Residence Appraiser and has been for 24 years. Listen, she comes to our church. She is like pint size. I know.
Starting point is 00:47:56 She's the tiniest little thing. She is. But powerful because she has three locations, Lakewood Ranch, Port Charlotte, and Tampa. Have you seen the muscles in that woman's arms? She is. I know. She's a beast.
Starting point is 00:48:07 I hate, like, I'm jealous. I looked at her arms and I went, dear God. I know. She looks great. I've been doing things wrong for so long. And she's like a little powerhouse. She is. Spitfire.
Starting point is 00:48:18 Yep. As sweet as pumpkin pie. Look at that smile. Oh, my gosh. I talked to her. Cutest. Oh, my gosh. I just, I talked to her, I think, for 45 minutes last week. Oh at that smile. Oh my gosh. I talked to her. Cutest. Oh my gosh. I just, I talked to her
Starting point is 00:48:25 I think for 45 minutes last week. Oh my gosh. She is the sweetest, sweetest thing. She can assist almost anyone anywhere. Her fourth location is coming on downtown England and will be opening soon. She is one of the most trusted appraisal companies
Starting point is 00:48:42 in southwest Florida and has done approximately 10,000 appraisals. Holy crap. That's a lot. That's a lot of appraisals. She is approved by 300 banks, lenders, and government entities all over the United States, and her company does appraisals for just about everything.
Starting point is 00:48:57 Listen, I've said this before, but most people think you only need it when you sell your house. And you should get one when you sell your house if you want to sell it fast. But she does it for residential properties up to four units. She also works with FEMA using the 50% rule, which we all know about that with the stinking hurricanes. Settling estates, probate situations,
Starting point is 00:49:19 inherited properties where the heir or heirs are not local and need the appraisal for their attorney. Listen, I'm not all for this, but a lot of times in divorce situations, get a flippant appraisal. Holy crap. I've seen more people get screwed that got a divorce because they didn't get an appraisal. Not good. Step up in basis appraisals for capital gains taxes and they also provide assistance in selling properties so if you call her please call her um if you need an appraisal and tell her that
Starting point is 00:49:50 hope hotline sent you so thank you very much for that yeah and let us move to the next question i got 10 minutes this is a cute question and i think i'm gonna do it okay let's do it you don't even know what i'm saying I'm going to do. Aren't you a brave soul? I literally just said to Talia, when you guys were talking about whatever you were ready to invest in, I was like, what are they talking about? Because I was like, yeah, let's do it.
Starting point is 00:50:14 I'm all in. Listen, if you guys are excited about it, I'm excited about it. I don't know what I'm investing in, but I'm all in. What were we talking about? Acai bowls. Acai.
Starting point is 00:50:22 Well, but that's Sarah's business. Well, listen. I'm just saying. I'm ready to invest if you guys are excited about it. Oh, we're going to invest in Sarah's business? Is that what we're doing? Sarah, do you want us to invest in your business? Should I post my link for my GoFundMe? Do not.
Starting point is 00:50:41 I'll kill you. It's got to go directly to my bank account. So I have Zelle and Vemcom. If I invest in the business, do I get free acai bowls? Yeah. Okay. Let's do it. Oh, that changes everything.
Starting point is 00:50:56 Yep. Because you know they're going to be amazing. Listen, people. If you've, listen. This is the best acai you have ever had. Best acai. She's been wanting to do this for a while. And we just found, we've been going to a place.
Starting point is 00:51:10 We should probably not talk about it. No, we have to keep it quiet. We've got to gatekeep. No, no gatekeeping. All right. Well, if somebody else takes the idea, guys. They have to know the place. Well, they know the place because I post it all the time.
Starting point is 00:51:22 No, no. They don't know the place where to get it. Or that's not good I guess we're not investing I guess we're screwed on that yeah we are all I'm saying is we're gonna figure it out we might invest yeah and then once we do oh You have a name for it. Oh, my gosh. Okay, let's not. Well, we will gatekeep that. Okay. Just in case, because people will steal that. Yeah. And it's good.
Starting point is 00:51:50 Oh, yeah, yeah. We can't steal it. We don't want that. That one has to be copyright. Trademark. But, hey, Jagger's mom, Jamie, I wish. Oh, is she watching? No, I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:52:07 She's something. Oh, well, she might not be. They just, if you're in the Tampa area, I don't know where her place is, but she just opened an acai. And she goes, she has hers at the river when they have their, oh, my gosh. So, hello. Hello. We need to try it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:23 I'm ready. There we go. But we'll get the name of her little place, it. Yeah. I'm ready. There we go. But we'll get the name of her a little place, too. Okay. Have you ever considered doing one episode with kids asking the questions? Is that the cutest thing? Yes. That's cute.
Starting point is 00:52:37 Super cute. You know what I was thinking? I might do this, and then I have the girls help answer the questions. Aw, that'd be cute. Char, Norma. I mean, Char. Not Norma. Char, Brinley. Norma.
Starting point is 00:52:49 Sweet little girl. Norma won't want to do it. Char, Brinley, and Tootie. That's a cute idea. And they'll help me answer the questions. They would love that. That would be cool. That would be so dang cute.
Starting point is 00:52:58 That would be. That would be. I might do it. They would have the funniest like. I know. So if you have kids and they want me to do this start asking them questions. Send them in. I will do that.
Starting point is 00:53:09 That would be the cutest thing. I don't know how many adults will actually watch it. You might have to have your kids watch it. It might be a really small podcast that week. I might not announce that I'm doing it. Kids and animals are the highest viewed things.
Starting point is 00:53:26 Like if you have a puppy and a baby, everybody watches it. Remember that show, Kids Say the Darnedest Things? Yes. That was hilarious. That was hilarious. Right. But I'm not going to have the kids like, well, I guess I will have questions from the kids. Right.
Starting point is 00:53:39 That's true. I have one right now. Oh, let's do it. Yes, it says, this person said said I think it would be hilarious. But in the meantime, I told them her kids asked her to ask me something. I told them I would send you tonight's question.
Starting point is 00:53:55 They just asked me if Jesus ever picked his nose. Oh my gosh. I love it. I say yes. What do you say? I say yes. You say yes? What do you say? I say yes.
Starting point is 00:54:07 I say yes. Final answer. Final answer. Yes, of course you did. I mean, probably. Like, they were way less hygienic back then. There's so much dust and dirt. Yes.
Starting point is 00:54:22 You'd like. Of course you pick your nose. It's there. I think he did. Did he pick his nose and eat it? Well, maybe when he was a kid. It's not a sin. It's not a sin.
Starting point is 00:54:31 And he was sinless. That's true. It's not a sin to pick your nose and eat it. I mean, it's disgusting. That is disgusting. But it is. But I will tell you this. I thought long and hard over this.
Starting point is 00:54:40 Because this is a very important question for this child. Or children. And I take it seriously. Okay. Thank you. So I looked into this. Okay. They didn't have tissue back then.
Starting point is 00:54:51 There is no tissue. There was no toilet paper. I know that's disgusting. So we're going to go back to when Tracy had to go in the woods with leaves and twigs. And can you imagine a leaf, like a crunchy leaf? How uncomfortable? Terrible. It was terrible.
Starting point is 00:55:08 So I looked and I found out just to make sure that he couldn't blow his nose in toilet paper or tissue. There's a blanket over there. And there's one above you. Somebody's cold in the room. I'm just helping them out. I will stop my podcast To make sure someone stays warm Because you know Because I know what it's like to be cold
Starting point is 00:55:31 It's no bueno So the first recorded use of something resembling Toilet paper was in China in the 6th century Can you believe that? The Chinese man They got it going on Very smart people super smart that's why the whip our tails in education true they had toilet paper going on
Starting point is 00:55:51 in the sixth century of course the first roll of toilet paper was introduced in 1882 in new york state wow yeah so i'm thinking jesus did pick his nose. He had to. And in 1935, Northern Tissue, they've been around that long, invented splinter-free toilet paper. Imagine that. The others had splinters in it. Can you imagine that you are advertising splinter-free? Because prior to that, there were splinters in it so so that must have that must have felt worse than a leaf right tracy oh my goodness no way the first soft two-ply toilet tissue was produced in 1942 and the first colored toilet tissue was produced in 1954 what color oh yeah i didn't say. Do you remember colored?
Starting point is 00:56:46 Why would you? I don't remember colored. What? No. Yep. I don't think I'd want colored. I don't want scents. I don't want colored. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:55 Like blue? I don't think so. I like the colors. Yeah, like pink. And then. Do you have it right now? Are you looking at it? Yeah, I'm looking at it.
Starting point is 00:57:01 Bring it up. I didn't know this. If I could have a bidet. Oh, Tom would love a bidet. Oh, my gosh. I don't even remember this. So if your bathroom is like pink. My grandma used to have pink toilet paper.
Starting point is 00:57:16 But also, does it not like turn your colors? I ain't looking. Who's looking? I'm looking. You're looking at your butthole? I mean Girls just don't like It's just weird
Starting point is 00:57:30 Imagine if you used a whole blue one Yeah that's not happening Well you have to Look at that whole thing I'm going to purposely put colored toilet paper around the church now I ain't going in that toilet Aesthetically I still don't appreciate it. I don't think that that's out anymore.
Starting point is 00:57:47 Correct? I'm looking at it. You definitely still buy colored toilet paper. Amazon. There's an Amazon. There's Christmas toilet paper. I know there's printed. That is a whole different ballgame. People do you sit on the toilet and you do
Starting point is 00:58:03 trivia. Have you ever seen those toilet paper with trivia on it yes jokes with an i get that colored did not know it's on amazon amazon and christmas what does it have christmas trees on it yes my gosh i knew it i knew it peppermints i knew it peppermint any canes whatever they're here's a question what's the correct way for the toilet paper to go does it go over or under not under over i'm over and anytime somebody puts it wrong i don't even know tracy doesn't care i know i will literally change it at a friend's house if it's the wrong way i I do too. Gosh, Sarah, this is not good. I think mine's over. We have problems.
Starting point is 00:58:47 I'm going to look. Every single one's probably different at my house. It would drive all you crazy. I don't know. It has to be over every time. The original patent for toilet paper shows it over. There you go.
Starting point is 00:59:03 That's what I'm sticking with. That's the answer. That's the answer. Back to picking of the nose. Okay. If, if, uh, everybody's,
Starting point is 00:59:13 I mean, it's true. Everybody's picked their nose at least once. Oh, how can you not? It's not possible. So I guarantee you, at least,
Starting point is 00:59:22 I mean, if, unless this is sacrilegious, Holy Spirit, God Almighty, I mean, unless this is sacrilegious, Holy Spirit, God Almighty, Lord Jesus, forgive me if I am being sacrilegious, but Jesus had to have picked his nose at least once. Yeah. I mean, as a child, like you're fully human, right?
Starting point is 00:59:36 Fully. Yeah. But fully human doesn't mean that you pick your nose. But like you just said, everybody should be a person who has it. I can't think of one, but listen jesus is the only one that was sinless so if there's anybody who can not not pick their nose i believe it would be him oh what if he never had boogers like what if his body was like perfect no the man had boogers the man had to go to the bathroom the man had boogers it's not possible okay yeah so he picked his nose
Starting point is 01:00:02 because like every little kid picks their nose yeah every kid that's what i was thinking i was like worst case scenario right picked his nose when he was a child right and then after that for sure but like dust like you were saying it's so dusty dirty oh yeah you're in the desert in the desert come on come on you gotta pick got it sarah is about to gag over there what if they just just did like, they just blew it out? Oh, Tommy used to do that back in football. Sports. Yeah, you got to get it out.
Starting point is 01:00:33 Tommy does that. Depending on what's going on. It's disgusting. Huh? We were in the garden one time and Derek did it. And I was like, what did you just do? And the face that I made, he was like, what? I'm like, you better go get a tissue right now.
Starting point is 01:00:54 Disgusting. Listen. Did you have brothers? That's a big X. Wait, did you guys have brothers growing up? I did. I did not. You did not.
Starting point is 01:01:04 Right, exactly. I did, but my brother did not. My brother didn't. You did not. Right. Exactly. I did, but my brother did not. My brother didn't do that. Oh, really? Oh, yours did.
Starting point is 01:01:11 Oh yeah. Like none of us, I would be, I would be shocked if a guy didn't do that. It's just like, get it out. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:01:18 no. Cause they had a good mom. So that's why. Yeah. Now that's a whole nother thing that all, all guys do that if it's up in your nose like you gotta get it out better out than in they always say well true that's disgusting but i can't be around somebody who's hawking or something as that
Starting point is 01:01:40 makes me yeah yeah you're sensitive with that. I'm very sensitive. I understand. My gag sensitivity is high. Yeah, I get it. I will gag lickety split. Okay. So on Friday when you come back, we're going to answer questions about someone who wants to know if Siri and Alexa are like the Ouija board.
Starting point is 01:02:01 Oh. Like demonic. Yeah. So we're going to answer that question. Fun. We. Like, demonic. Yeah. So we're going to answer that question. Fun. We're going back. Me either. Huh?
Starting point is 01:02:10 I've thought about that many times. You've thought about that? Oh, yeah. Did you ask me this question? No. I've never thought about this question like this, but I got a great answer for it. What about chat GPT?
Starting point is 01:02:21 I knew you were going to ask that. What is that? Chat GPT. What is that? Chat GPT. What is that? The AI that we would never use. That we totally don't use. That we never use for anything. You know.
Starting point is 01:02:33 Oh, yeah. You guys use it for everything. Because you can't spell or do grammar. Right. It's way easier. Yeah, I know. Ouch. I need to know.
Starting point is 01:02:41 Hey, listen. You don't have to do it. You don't have to do spelling or grammar when you use that. Right. You don't want to do it. You don't have to do spelling or grammar when you use that. Right. You don't want to do it. I don't. So, I mean, hello, that's not an insult. That's just working smarter, not harder.
Starting point is 01:02:53 That's true. Thank you. I'm just saying, like, for them, they get it done like that. We do. We get things done. And it's actually really good. Right. So I'm like, why, if you figured it out, it's not bad. And it's bilingual. Oh, it's actually really good. Right. So I'm like, if you figured it out, it's not bad.
Starting point is 01:03:07 And it's bilingual. Oh, it's bilingual. Is it really? It's more than bilingual. It's all-lingual. All-lingual. Really? Multilingual.
Starting point is 01:03:15 For sure. Demonic. Demons know all the languages. Oh, my gosh. And they can write a five-point sermon in 45 seconds. Well, we've seen that. We've seen that. You can ask ChatGPT.
Starting point is 01:03:30 Write a five-point sermon on forgiveness. That's going to be the new thing. That'll be sermon.com. Oh, heck to the yeah. Well, it probably is already. Yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah, for sure. People are already using it.
Starting point is 01:03:40 100%. What happens when they use the same one? Like if somebody said the same thing and then they go up with the same notes they already do that I know but I'm just saying with chat GPT at least people know you can look on sermon.com and it's there
Starting point is 01:03:54 I think there's a filter because colleges now use a filter like if you're writing your paper say it a little bit there's a filter because now colleges like universities like papers that you submit they have like a filter and they will know if you used AI. OK, that's interesting. People are using that. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 01:04:15 Why not? Yeah, of course. Right. Oh, my gosh. In high school. In high school. Why wouldn't you? Write your own stuff?
Starting point is 01:04:22 If you're, I mean, the worldly person. Yeah. Heck yeah, you're going to have them do it. Right. Yeah. Yeah. High school too. I mean the worldly person. Yeah. Heck yeah. You're going to have to do it. Right. Yeah. Yeah. High school is a huge problem.
Starting point is 01:04:29 This is a huge problem. And the high schools too. Yep. That's interesting. I never thought about that. Even answers to tests. Like you just write it in there. Like what's the answer to why did this person do this?
Starting point is 01:04:42 Or why does this chemical do this? Yeah. It's all there everything every answer you could ever need holy crap yeah which means it's why go to god you can just ask chat gpt just saying that's the way it's going have we asked chat gpt oh don't because it'll freak you out what are we asking I'm telling you is God real is that the question is there
Starting point is 01:05:11 are you putting something in there yeah she's doing it what's the question is Jesus the only way is Jesus the only way figure it out is Jesus the only way because that is like the next thing.
Starting point is 01:05:26 Then we'll know if it's demonic or not. Okay. Ready? Yep. We're just prepping for your next week's question. Oh my gosh, why does it have to be so long? So then just say a shorter answer. Just say yes or no.
Starting point is 01:05:36 Say yes or no. Is Jesus the only way? Yes or no. Listen, because maybe chat GPT is actually saved. It says that within Christianity, many people in the concept of Jesus, Listen, because maybe chat GPT is actually saved. It says that within Christianity, many people in the concept of Jesus, many believe in the concept of Jesus as the sole path to salvation based on verses like John 14, 6. However, there are Christians who interpret this differently.
Starting point is 01:06:00 Of course there are. Well, yeah, that's true. I can think of a few. Ultimately, whether Jesus is the only way to God depends on one's religion's beliefs. Okay. Yeah, that's okay. It's kind of neutral. I mean, we have, and I don't know if this is what they believe anymore,
Starting point is 01:06:16 but there was a church in Sarasota, a big, like, it's Baptist, but, I mean, it doesn't go by Baptist and its name. There was nothing about the Baptist faith. I mean, if you read their doctrine, you knew they were Baptist, but the name, it's a big name.
Starting point is 01:06:33 Like back in the day, it was a really big church. I don't know if it is anymore. Um, but the pastor went over to another country, came back. He, before he went over,
Starting point is 01:06:48 he believed that Jesus was the that Jesus was one way. There's only way to God but through Jesus. Comes back from this country and is now preaching and teaching. There's more than one way. He lost a lot of members, but a lot of people stayed. How damaging is that? Huge church. I don't even know i mean i know of people that were going there and they left because of it but then there's why are you guys laughing no
Starting point is 01:07:13 is there something talia's no i'm just being dumb just go you're just being you're just having a conversation with this ai over here oh that's Yeah. I might get caught up in that too. Hey, listen, I can go down that rabbit hole real quick. Asking it conspiracy theory questions. Oh my gosh. That could be a podcast. Ask it what AI's role in the end times is.
Starting point is 01:07:38 Oh, wow. Have you ever asked it that question? Cindy's saying it's basically like Wikipedia. Like going on Wikipedia and looking up stuff. Oh, really? Yeah. That's her opinion. Wikipedia is wrong.
Starting point is 01:07:58 Right, because people can change it based off of it. And they do change it. It's bad. Can anyone edit that? Yeah, well, I think you can submit it and anybody edits it, right? How does that work with Wikipedia? I don't know. Because I know you can edit it.
Starting point is 01:08:12 Who can edit it? It does get edited, but a lot of times, I mean, it's very subjective. And from what I understand, anybody can change it. That's what I, yeah, me too. Which makes it so inaccurate. Like most people will tell you, if you want to know something, don't go to Wikipedia. It's because it can, it's not accurate.
Starting point is 01:08:32 Yeah, Wikipedia means anyone can edit nearly any page and improve articles immediately. You do not need to register to do this or anyone. And anyone who has edited is known as a Wikipedian or an editor. Yeah, it's like inaccurate right because anybody immediately scary huh yeah but you know what that's why we every man is a liar and god is true amen there you go there's your ai right there oh thanks guys thank you nice little bow on that. So let's get somebody saved. Perfect. I pray regularly.
Starting point is 01:09:11 Regularly. That's a hard word. Regularly? Thank you, Tal. That's a hard word for me, Tal. It's okay. I pray on a regular basis. There you go.
Starting point is 01:09:23 That's good. Because I don't want to use that word again. I don't think I can say it. Over the people that watch this, over the people that will watch it in the future, any of these podcasts, because I know that we don't do salvation every single time, and there's reasons for it,
Starting point is 01:09:38 but really that's what this podcast is about. It's about creating an environment for people to learn the word, become comfortable with all of us. And people often tell us, like, I feel like I'm in a living room. When I'm watching you guys, I feel like you guys are in my living room and we're all hanging out and talking together. And I love that. I can't tell you how many times people have told me that. I know. I love that too.. I feel like you guys are in my living room and we're all hanging out and talking together. And I love that. I can't tell you how many times people have told me that.
Starting point is 01:10:07 I know. I love that too. And I absolutely love that because to know us is to love us. True. I can promise you that. True. But it is for me, it's an hour and nine minutes right now. It's an hour and nine minutes of just us enjoying each other, having fun,
Starting point is 01:10:27 learning more about what the Word says, and maybe not even sometimes not even talking about those kinds of things, but just having a good time together. But ultimately, the most important thing that anyone can do and any of us can do is, one, win someone to the Lord. Salvation is the most important thing that anyone will do either receiving or rejecting in this lifetime. So our goal ultimately with this podcast is to win the lost. And then maybe you started watching because you were intrigued by the questions and how they would be answered and that led you to
Starting point is 01:11:09 salvation so a little bit at a time even though you didn't know it you were being discipled even though you weren't really being disciple because you're not saved but you were learning along the way and then the goal is after you're saved is to plug in, keep watching us, learn more about what the word says. Maybe hearing the questions will make you want to study the word more, understand it in a deeper way and have more revelation, but also to plug into foundation church where the true word is spoken, where you'll be radically changed and your heart will and your mind will be renewed. And that's truly what's more important. So Jesus said he came to this earth for salvation, right?
Starting point is 01:11:56 He provided a redemption for each and every single one of us so that we can be redeemed through him. And once you make that commitment to him and you say, Lord, whatever you tell me to do, I'm going to do. You are the Lord of my life from this moment forward. When you decide to do that, I can promise you, your life will never be the same again. And if you take this walk seriously,
Starting point is 01:12:21 you can't even imagine the places that he will take you and the people that you will meet and the lives that you will have, the power just simply by the things that you'll do through, do for him. Like each and every single one of us, not one of us ever thought if you told me 10 years ago, I knew that the Lord would have me speak. Okay. But never did I think that I would be doing a podcast. And if you were to ask those four girls over there,
Starting point is 01:13:02 not a one of them probably ever thought that a podcast was in their future. But this is where God has us, and he's teaching us something along the way so that we use it later on in life. But we're being used right now. And it's no different for you. Little steps will take you to a new place, and you'll be doing things that you never dreamt were even in your future. And they're fun. It's great. So fun. So if you don't know him or you need to get your life right
Starting point is 01:13:32 with him, come back to him. Say this prayer with me. It's quick, it's easy, and it's one and done. In Jesus' name, we come to you right now, Lord. We thank you that you died on that cross. Just repeat after me. I ask you to forgive me of my sins. I ask you to be the Lord of my life. I thank you that not one thing that's in my past will be held accounted to me in my future. When I die and grow old, I will reign with you. Heaven is my destination. Wherever you tell me to go, I will go. And whatever you tell me to do, I will do. If it's
Starting point is 01:14:16 not what I'm supposed to do, I will not do it. In Jesus' mighty name we pray Amen It's simple, it's easy What I would advise you to do Is thank him Thank him for what he's done for you Thank you for the future that is yours Get a good Bible If you don't know how to get a Bible Or if you need one, just let us know You can email the church
